"Go to hotel room key. Go by the pool. Look at the map you know. We wanna see an we. Let the florida trip takes us to. We have to go per per day. There's nothing written down for the day. We just go with the flow of rain. When arranged in plan b's now planning so started from around going around holiday trips like holidays. Definitely around outbid trish. We take is usually thanksgiving. 'cause usually have thanksgiving off and then black friday usually no work and then so. That's the thursday friday saturday sunday monday. That one there is like the big trip. That's where we try to like mars or so where where they ask you. Let's say something like australia mars. We have it planned out three days to get mars go. Mars hang around mars a little bit than comeback. So it's about six days toll literally. We're is priced out. So it's a three day trip to get there at the lose weight because the air level you know on on the spaceship is is very dense so skilling due to shake mrs malls to he has the job a couple you know it's going to be a struggle to get to mars but we're gonna to get there. I'm very very serious about that trip to mars and the price is going down the pre look my understanding is if you donate to the Donate to one of the charities you can at least get into the raffle raffling with tickets. Yeah they got to look as low as ninety nine dollars and you can get it and you can get into the and so there's your shit there's your chance gunes to get into get into the mars sweepstakes gatica this is. We're talking about movies now. Gatica y you know hawk that that's my goals. Twenty twenty one mars in jeopardy. My revolutionary really. Yo look we're gonna be watching you. "Navigation strategy that we utilize could show you this, but Every retirement account. You have maybe tax differently. And you want to be strategic with how you take withdrawals from each of your taxable buckets for each of your money, buckets, some their tax free some tax deferred summer taxable. And so one of things is we need to prioritize withdrawals for your required minimum distributions. Now mandatory withdrawal started 8 72 these days Now they don't have to come out of your office. But they do have to come out of your regular I race. And that is now income. Oh, that's good to know. Okay? Yeah. So you regularly raise your regular forward case they all have at age 72. You have to take out a certain amount of money every single year called minimum required distributions. Morgan. LF you for being with us if you don't pay that if you don't take that money out, what's the penalty? I very familiar because we've been talking about it all over the country. It is 50%. Raising e. I mean, it's a big number. That's a big tax bill. So if you don't take out what you're required to take out, they will hit you with a 50% penalty of what you were supposed to take out and you got to pay the first number. Take the money out and keep in mind if you take money out of your IRAs and 41 case too early. Before 59 a half. In most cases, it is a 10% penalty of what you took out. So it's a gigantic penalty if you don't take it out, Mrs. Mall a penalty if you do take it out, doesn't make any sense. But, hey, I don't work for the government. They're gonna get their taxes, right? We're gonna get that time back. And so considerate Roth conversion to spread out when and how much you are taxed by converting for the waffles. They have a bunch of money for one case and regular IRAs. Well, the Roth conversion strategy does make sense many times. But you might not know how to do that. Most people just say I don't have to do it. I'm just gonna I'm gonna pay the taxes down the road. Well, don't take that approach, at least get that second opinion. So you know what's going on out there and you can you can form a logical and reasonable decision when you get all the facts. On your side or on the table, like the guy's A dragnet used to say just the fax E mean so many people come in, and they ask questions, and that's it. I guess that I guess the message. That we want to put out there. It's okay to ask questions. You get locked into an adviser get locked into a planner. You don't You don't have to just sit there and take whatever's coming out. You know the mouth box. You need a second opinion. So the best way the supersize your true retirement income is to minimize the taxes to check to pay. And so we will get protected versus unprotected many times in the money will protect it from risks, fees, commissions or not, but also protected from taxation or not. So we form two different text. Two different groups of tax buckets or buckets. One is of taxable bucket. One is tax free. And then we weigh itemize those buckets in risk for safety as well. So it's It's a good equation. It's good exercise, and it's really good for most of you out there to see what really could happen if you do the right things. And and so I want to make this offer. If we are if you're one of the next 10 people call right now we'll use our strategies. It could help you lock in gains when the market rises and be protected from losses when it drops. We're also gonna include that TNS attacks, navigation strategy and the total retirement plan, which is 22 steps behind the scenes to make sure that you're doing the right thing..

And i know what you're one is going to be up. What is your to. My number two is network. Oh great bad as hell. And i'm not gonna take it anymore. I love the movie. Faye dunaway fantastic. Well you just wrote a movie william holden. Yeah great great movie. The reason. I don't think i think i didn't put now. We're gonna play more than the movie place. Fantastic at the one. We saw with bryan cranston. Something he was amazing. My number one is the godfather. I i mean. We talked about earlier in the show. You can sit through all three godfather movies and never get bored. Yup and your number. One gotta be mrs mall ray right. Yup chinatown yeah. That's why i didn't put it on mine. Because i knew that would be your number one love the movie in fact you know when i was a kid i saw that movie and that's when i decided that i wanted to live in los angeles. 'cause i love that Thirties forties period los angeles. The way it looked in the style of it the film noir of it. I'm like i don't live in la someday and sure enough it happened. I just got the greatest text from. Ben lyons okay bends a big movie. Always a huge movie guy. Yeah movies to watch before you die eddie. Because it's the only way. I'll see the knicks. Win that's awesome. It's takkula coming up next for you. The so there's are there are lists by the tipped off jordan l z. For this too. So i think bring. This is the godfather the only one we had. That was the same. I think so. Yup godfather was the only one. Wow and i didn't have any that match jordan georgian indie everybody thirty movies. I only had one that matched anybody in. It was macy's with the godfather. Everybody made a list. And i got to say. There's not a single movie on there. That that i wouldn't say is a fantastic movie. Everybody made really good choices. Your list is fantastic. We just don't have the godfather in common. Yep there you go well it shosha seeing show. What's your favorite movie of all time. What's your number. We won't ask you to name ten name one yet. One movie that you want somebody to see before they die. What are you. What are you telling them to what you're gonna laugh at me. Ben ben lyons is probably gonna drive off the road. I please don't laugh i like rudy. I like pretty woman movies or do you like feelgood movies anyway. Happy mood pretty. Woman is an excellent choice. If you look at our list. Mace know comedies. Either one of us fargo has funny moments ferris day off. I almost almost put animal house or caddyshack. But i couldn't find it but so you happy stuff. Pretty woman is a great call. That's a great movie. I do because. I think my husband kind. It looks like richard gere maybe fifty years ago. So here's here's the thing about About pretty woman the way it was originally written it was this guy who found hooker and at the end just left her. That's the way the movie originally was. He did not go back and find her so it was originally going to be a sad movie but instead turned into a sappy one i would not have liked it. Yeah yeah yeah. Just sports movies field right great. Yes to all of our veterans. Thank you very much for putting your lives at stake so that we may be free and we salute you. We appreciate your service. And if there's a veteran your life don't forget.

D. and Philadelphia tyro you shouldn't have to go back now how we don't if they might go up I'm doing very well how you doing I am door wells it's always a pleasure but I don't I wanted to just get my little two cents about if situation with let Pfister who dropped I would be he raised and I believe the reason for that is dead she kind of you know wasn't herself if you understand what I'm saying she tried to you know try to cable and being part of the pretty little crew were strangely when she didn't really like in say had the money that they know he was struck and all the other things that you need to be a part of the political structure so I'm looking there add the only way yeah she could have really had a chance is he had to be happy he had to be someone that you know there was a conscious Loyce a current case something with and to make you know spike that battle and because he didn't have that I believe that that's why you know she wasn't able to continue and the waste and and brother out if you don't mind me saying you know also Dave has a week and good pastor inflamed William Moore and his wife Polly more you know celebrated their forty fifth anniversary we need him fifty four celebration that it shows that tens memorial and I live in now you know it was such a pleasure to be there because there was so many churches so maybe our full individuals so many speed movements is shaken from all over the country what's up part of their celebration and I was sitting there wherever Niles say and wow you know with all of this is the best one will how in the world we are still Ballin and all the challenges that we are facing each and every day so I don't know if you may have you know a a word or two to say about that but we got so many great powerful and full went through individuals Absalom there can individuals in this country and still every game so you could be a day to day struggle thanks for that Devin now I just don't understand well let me say this to run I think for us will limit can gradually rather than Mrs mall but let me say that part of the problem is that we must understand that struggle is not seasonal a struggle is gonna be all those that are in power and use it to a press against those that are not in owl and you are be oppressed and they must fight until they can overturn that sometime that takes months sometimes years sometimes decades but it is the power that you have to fight and you know goes back even to biblical language which says we wrestle not against flesh and blood but principalities and that's what we fight and I think that some of us have resigned ourselves to the fact that's the fight and we gonna fight it and we gonna make some progress if we fight we're gonna lose it all if we don't fight and I think the fact that you have people like rather more your fast they can get people of influence to come in on them shows there is power in just serving and there is recognition in serving but you don't fight for recognition Hey you don't fight for all be of congratulations your fight because is right and people will see that you fight and will gain some strength from it and I think that when I look at does that have preceded us M. four would you mention I Harriet Tubman had determined never knew that a hundred fifty years later we'd be talking about her she fought because she was committed to fight against slavery and if you fight VH1 award give yellow black and go sit down if you fight delayed change a fight if you keep fighting and it doesn't matter what anybody recognizes you and not what matters is that you're doing the right fight let's go to joy in Chicago W. V. O. N. sixty ninety joy hi Alan this year I've been working out or early morning I haven't listened to much by where here glad he was the time I know this sounds kind of weird but what do you think of a Biden and Stacey Abrams ticket is perfect I know she doesn't want to run about one to hear your comment on it and I'll take it off the air that lesson god bless you well I mean we have heard that speculation of Stacey Abrams I think that Stacey Abrams in Biden Stacey Abrams ticket has a lot of appeal I think Biden of of camera has to has a view or even a devout taxes or Elizabeth Warren the Val Patrick all all all chord book there any combinations that have appeal the question is which one is gonna be the ticket well we have a seat at the table would real influence to help counselor who go beyond a ticket edit weathered that ticket is going to hit the ground in mobilizing galvanized all of the voters around the edges desk will be the question you can have the best to give in the world on people but if they don't put the work in and have not done the work to know what it is they need to do it won't work I think that's part of the problem we have is that we have a lot of people who have the right pedigree the right background right education to check all the boxes but don't know how to check the people's boxes and whatever to get it is they will have to be able to galvanize people because Donald Trump go galvanize he is Marvin in Chicago W. V. O. in sixteen ninety mom Hey rob this up and I don't I'm doing good a of of heard that Camilla here is had to drop out because of lack of phones and that was a surprising thing because when I saw the only the debate she will then and and the after the debate interview she was she was ready to roll the the bread to come all and take this thing frozen wish yes because what she needs to do not think that he might have started long she muttered she shoulda went to the black radio stations thank god black rail station major black radio stations all around the United States in the city to campaign get a message across a good lot of people don't know much about Camilla here but Lori this is a painful chord book could understand you don't have that much money but he's with the money that they try to throw him out time and time again and I like to give you the cue head with Cory Booker this past Sunday on the politics nation you gave him a more in depth and if you own things and that he can do they got more in depth than if you did you gave up then the ones all of an old like the end of white media they don't they just want to say a few words in a safe location up more you you use is talking too much we're all going to be somebody else bagel really wore a black person in there and I tell you one thing Joe I heard Joe Biden speak last night Hey does some good issues about rules and then about economics and and building wealth and stuff like that and and and and health care as Dublin court and you know Joe Biden he did something good but not if you're talking about now Duval Patrick has not into the race yet announced in he's in I mean no no I'll me on the day that the debate yeah right we all use in the race and I'm sick and I'm still like this room shot my scenario is that you could feel because a lot of black people support button I see us feel bad and the tactic to get a bite infected ticket and I said that would involve catch a good vice president he did you need somebody who has experience to to get the state to get get subject of CDS stay together and the vault that you can use that message the state of Massachusetts together and this is something that Joe Biden needs a black person and he's ego get black people you can go into these towns and get black people and all these projects and he's not afraid to say black into view and I like that ticket Cory Booker himself he's not afraid to say black even though Camilla has always the we the people of color because of Obama's in North Korea book covered in the new features that I am not afraid to say he's black and that's what we need to know who we are and he says it is stated that what we're gonna do because when he interviewed was interviewed by during that debate he and lives been worn had a had a debate about the taxes did raise and help and do a downtrodden you know that the people in the community Nick elevate themselves I liked it I like to debate the eleven had if you go more often thank you for your call is going to take a break and be right back love you on the phone one eight seven seven five three two five seven nine seven shaft and keeping it real be right back this job requires sponsored by S. "One one oh five three what are the attributes you want in the next cowboys head coach I think is interesting because it's not about giving we don't actually want the names right now even though for the nine oh three I know you got Walter Cheban over your G. throughout Dan mall and I'm called the name slogan Walcha gloves into Daniel and I think he just really wants all of the cowboys players to get an opportunity add kissing Mrs mall and I'm hoping I can maybe get a severity from Mrs mall as they come off the bus before each game I think that's that's the tradition they have with the Gators and I think they'll carry here to to Dallas if in Milan is the next cowboys head coach that's definitely a plus it's secondary to the fact that him and act Prescott have a fantastic relationship but I want my quarterback comfortable especially from about to paying forty million now I don't want names here I want general attributes do you want to be young you under the old you want to have already been a head coach in the NFL before or you okay with him being maybe one of these hot shot assistance you want to be from college if you want ME office of mine did you want to be defense of mine if you want to be a C. E. O. I think there's a lot of questions to be asked here and you know I think I think it's pretty interesting for the four six nine and once the bill check as the next coach how bout that all right well she's ugly up the sidelines here in Dallas you know and maybe Steve can bring bill yeah Steve wants to bring bill I'm here I am here for all the Steve here is what I'm looking for first of all I mean I understand the wanting the young coach with everything else is going on with some of the other young coaches in the NFL and what the streets have been and and looking to find the next guy this going to be the best guy and what have you I once I once improve in old school brain I want somebody that's that's been there and done things in done great things in the NFL you wanna you less to is not coaching right now who who could you could pull out of the booth somewhere or whatever they're doing that would be nice that would be one of the attributes that I want the others the other side of it is because I want that person to to be ready willing and able because of their still in touch with the NFL to really grasp the analytics and I won a defensive minded head coach so you do want a defensive minded guy that's interesting because I feel like a lot of people would prefer you know I mean ultimately I would prefer the CEO guy the guy that's like bill bill check that can walk into any part any the walking to the special teams room and make a couple of coaching moves there during the week you know you can go off into go defense John Harbaugh out there in Baltimore what was he was a special teams coach for the most part in Philadelphia but I think he did a little bit on the office aside a little on the defensive side he's well rounded that C. E. O. head coach second walk through the practice field and make corrections and adjustments in critiques all throughout the week on all phases of the game I think is ultimately what you want now can you find that I think there it's it's few and far between how many guys can really do that and do it well and if you want that I think it's got to be an experience guy I don't think you can expect a young coach especially guys it's just been an assistant you know like your Greg Romans are gonna be thrown out there of the world to come in and already be your CEO kind of head coach that's a guy that's going to have you know the offense of background or defense background bending on where he was a coordinator and he's going to cater to that side of the football if you want to see approach I think you need to bring in a guy who has had coaching experience Hey you're right if you want to see coach I guess on my side of what I want and the reason why I wanted defensive coaches because yeah and the main reason is is I think that that guy just like with an offense of coach he can walk in and go well this is what you're going to see as far as looking at another defense and really have that defensive mind and go into the offices you know thinking with you whatever you do about office of coordinator go look this is probably what you're going to see this is what I would do against your weapons this is what I have done in the past against what's going on prepare for this and it's something that wouldn't happen normally I think with this current cowboys team is able to be ready to make adjustments because they know what they're going to see and if there's anything to this in in Eric and I we talked about this earlier all fares were getting ready for the show but I do feel like the track record of defensive minded coach is seems to be a little bit more successful than the offense of side of the ball I know you've seen a couple of offense of coach is here lately find some instant success but I think the longevity on the defensive side of the ball seems to work a little bit more bill Belichick defensive background for the most part now it's turned into you that C. E. O. head coach we've had some people bringing up Tony Dungy that's a defense of background kind of coach right now John Harbaugh was a special teams coach so that's completely different you don't often see the special teams guys with the Mike Tom when he's had a nice run in Pittsburgh maybe doing its best coaching job of his career this year having the Steelers seven five with all the injuries and being on their fourth string quarterback airline to head coach Pete Carroll certainly and we do have a short list of like the instant success guys the McVeigh's in the cow Shanahan's that are the offense background but it seems like the track record I think if we were to go back and look at the the coaches that have had success you'd find more defensive background guides than offense of I don't know that's just what my guide kinda tells me from football the last two decades well you're got never lie so I won't necessarily argue with you but I don't know if you still think I mean you got the Sean Payton to the world okay so my I never ever not trying to say that you can't really successful coach with an offense of background right right yeah I I don't know man I just think the way the league has gone if if my coach can't be the CEO guy who just knows a little bit of everything I I think I would lean offense because that's where the league is going like that's where the leak is right now like I I know Sean McVay that was sort of flavor of the month and I'm not necessarily saying you got to go get the youngest guy in the room to be your forward thinker I would like to think there's a middle aged guys out there that have been there done that a little bit that that can be forward thinking as well and maybe they they could hire the the the young offense of mine head coach office of coordinator but just the way the league's going right now I think you want that office of buying that innovation that forward thinker and like Kobe said ultimately you want the attributes to be a guy who's willing to use the analytics you know what I was willing to use all the information at hand I want a guy who's willing to adapt a guy who's not set in stone in terms of this is what we run it's like okay it let me give me all the ingredients give me all the players and then I'll decide how we need to put him in place here just like we read from bill Belichick earlier one guy is not to be able to do the same thing as the next guy so of player a goes down I can't expect necessarily player be able to do exactly what player a was doing you got to be able to just you got to be able to adapt you got to be willing to listen to others and use all the information at hand whether it's I test kind of stuff or whether it's the analytics yeah and not don't be stubborn and set in your ways like that now that's that's a bad idea I guess the reason why and I can understand because the trends that are going on right now is to try to go after the offense of head coach eat whether it's the young guy or just the the next guy that you think it's going to wear as Shanahan or whoever else you want to say is going to come in and really do something well with your team offensively the thing that I'm thinking about primarily is that you I first and foremost what the direct opposite of what we had with Jason here all right so you want this guy to just have like no hands and be will not be able to clap like at all like I even have that ability I just I don't want I don't want the the offense of mind I don't want the growing into the process I don't want any of these things then the no I don't looks look Jason Garrett grew in this job we had to watch him go through the head coaching pains of growing and sometimes it just didn't grow at all so I want an older head coach number two we supposed to be an offense of genius and we saw how long that lasted five second what she ever an offense of genius at one time yeah two thousand seven was a good year at one time yes what else did he do the how long that I mean but that was the narrative around using geared at the time was he's the young office of mighty guy played in the league as a backup quarterback and he he was the kind of guy that's why Baltimore was it was a threat to animal house with Anna Lana like teams thought he was now old only ended up not being that but that is what the narrative was about chasing here is so I I want that when the defense of coach not the office of coach I want a guy that's done this before not somebody that we have to train on the field especially with this talent that we think is ready to go if it you don't want that guy training on the field so I don't want a new guy I don't wanna guy that's never been in the NFL so old verses young I'm gonna take old I want to call it a versus pro you want to go pro I want to go pro and it is already have guy he's been a head coach before yes Hey and has success and is went to a Superbowl all right those are things that I want so you basically want to go after two names that I can think of yes Tony Dungy I have brought up and I love or bill Belichick right what about what about Jim Harbaugh in Michigan is going from college but he's been he's been a head coach in the NFL Super base to issue but he's an offense a background even those defenses always seem to play better than the offense he seems to have the right attitude to be a defensive coach that's interesting but he as a former quarterback in offense or so I was I understand you're right I mean like his defense is always been the strength of his coach football teams outside of having in your luck you can even argue the Stanford events as Kerry those teams as well yeah I know so there's another one yes one of those guys but I need maybe not him because the guy that said I yeah I have a vitamin IT steak every day that guy is probably not going over to the analytics guy who and milk tell tell me tell me tell me what tell me what I need to do here tell me tell me what the numbers are I don't know if that's the same guy I'm I'm just going by I am type casting this guy I've never heard him say anything about analytics yeah maybe because everything is happening good for for the other hardball that he's like yeah I know you got to go with this become the NFL maybe there's some communication and he does it but I that's what I'm thinking I'm like all right he can take a page out of his brothers book and see how well it's working for for John hardball in in Baltimore all the analytics they're using and the forward thinking that they have with drafting Lamar Jackson and running the office that the running maybe it is something to consider maybe Jim will take a page out of his brothers book and bring a nice philosophy here today out and I think Jim is a good name what a what a lot of the fans sex or texting in is you've got to find somebody that can work with Jerry Jones and the one thing about Harbaugh is he's had issues with front offices that's why a lot of San Francisco when he did and fanart and Stanford you're right can he find a way to co exist with Jerry Jones I don't know if it's Jerry you have to worry about I think it's Stephen I think so I think this is this is about to be all the Stevens baby N. N. he's he's going to be the one in control it and you might that you might have some problems are you might not yeah but do you think Stephen is more of a hands off guy than Jiri was like jury with the ego that he had and he always wanted to assign the assistant coaches to chasing geared and things like that read you look at me like I'm just absolutely Adeline and ridiculing remains the words hands off though I'm saying the more have more hands off than Jerry Jerry is like in terms of wanting to control every little thing and saying no I'm going to pick your assistant coach is I'm going to do this I'm going to do that I'm going to be in front of the microphones I'm gonna be the spokesperson for the team like you think like I'm just asking maybe I'm wrong maybe Stevens got I think scene I don't think we know the answer to that yeah he has had the.

"You ask you got out there and different actors and then the second thing is not just asking companies Johnny's in making relationships it's companies but you've got to leverage downtown developing authorities and Joe Chambers of commerce because that's really where it's APP up they can provide things to you that may not be monetary but they can provide you expertise people to come in and view you'll kids they can chaperones for events and things that you need. They just need to put a shout out on the list and people would just come flying like like yes no problem what Giannis and just be direct. Tell them what you need and they'll do it and so again you have to be bold and I know it's easy for me. I'm Taipei pay a love to be out there. Love networking connecting with people but the more that I do this job the more I know it's so important it's important for our children to do it. so have unfamiliar faces come in my room and to network with them. One of the most powerful things that we did last year was first time ever again. I woke up in the middle night figured Oh we'll do this. Alumni Day so I reached out to alumni and invited the alumni in I think about seven seven alumni coming own different walks of life real characters like you know I can remember where they sat. I can remember funny story what they did when they were in my class just real good people and walks of life and they came in and they sat that with my kids sorry that's okay they sat with my kids and we went through the resumes they wrote resumes and they sat with them and they talked about what you need to do to Padua resume out like what would they suggest coming from alumni and I looked around the room with my colleague Mrs Gambero who I've worked with the last eighteen years and we had like tears in our eyes because we saw what's already been through the system. Give back to what's what's in the system right now. That's beautiful and that to me is something that any school district can do use your in context and social media allows you to be in contact. Yes all of these these people I mean granted there on Instagram snapchat note on twitter and facebook but you can find them and then linked in oh my gosh everybody's linked Incas is a professional professional profile but a lot of them are on facebook now. They're coming back at drifting back. I mean the younger the last five years they all still on Instagram but you just put a shout out there and you say I'm doing an alumni day and you don't bring them in just to stand there and lecture the class about Oh. Oh this is what I've done when I finished school no no no you put them to work you get them to give them the H. Child a different perspective and whether it's interview skills looking at resumes whether it's going through application process for college with it's looking scholarships they've all got experience yes us and for them to make that connection and then to go back onto the linked in and say look now. I'm linked in with these six seven people that came into my room. It's so special and humbling humbling for us because there's nothing better when you get an e mail a letter going against well I mean I got one this summer. One of my students since the end of the school year he was struggling on the computer and filling in college apps and I looked him and I said hey what are you doing. He's like I've been told by my counselor. I gotTa do this and I went okay well. Let's just get it done but let's talk about apprentice ships. Let's talk about you getting getting your hands dirty because he was one of these guys like dirt by King and loved being outdoors and stuff like that and I got an email end of the summer and he's like hey mall. Oh sorry about my grammar and spelling but I just wanted you to know that I just got an apprenticeship and I will be studying as a electrician and the putting bring me through online school through St nine diversity of State Yeah Same Michigan you might really. He's like I would never have known anything about. It was just because you knew you. That's awesome because and not not an please. Don't take this the wrong way people but not to put the counselors announcers down but the counselors have so much to do but may help they need help and our children need help in trying to figure things out. Yes voshel assault have a teacher to just get to know the kids because the counselors really don't get a chance to get to know all these case over three hundred fifty kids in your main charge you as a counselor and I again we have the most phenomenal counseling system. I mean these people are just I mean I. I don't know how they sleep at night with everything they know but their social emotional health they have to support our kids with social emotional. Health is really hard awed for them to figure out where kids going to go after school if they've not seeing them in the classroom as much as we've done that's true that is just not possible. It's it's true yeah you know and I just can't see it so tell me something else wonderful all square note. He's got a few notes because I WANNA go back to the love logical thing you because my story coming to America is pretty pointed when it comes to how I feel about relationships because I moved to America in two thousand and one and as soon as I arrived here I made some strong connections with people and I call them my American American family and my English family cool them the American founding okay but I wouldn't be here today eighteen years you know after do we settled here as immigrants in the United States. If it wasn't full the connections I've made with some of the most wonderful people so you you know I I have my American mom. I have my American Dad. I've got my American aunts and uncles and raising the children you know they've referred to some of my dear okay friends as aunt an unreal so I just think that's so powerful and you know and I still have family in the UK and you know everybody's still still over there but nobody ever like regrets the fact that we have two families right and they both mean equally as much to us because we're all raising kids together and we all support we support each and so I wouldn't still be here. There's no way that my my husband and I we came here in two thousand one on a two year contract for us to stay here it was because American people embraced us and I'm just so fortunate to have that and I could name names but I wanna make anybody upset because I forgot but they know who they all when I when I talk about for that and then the other thing I was thinking about. Is You know obviously I've got my one hundred twenty kids in my class and every year they cycle through and I got another one hundred and twenty another engine Queenie ninety but any of those children anytime can reach out to me and I'll answer late last night one of my students he graduated last year reached out to me. Actually I reached out to him. I was cheeky. I need a new phone case. I knew I'd rather buy one from him. Then go to the best buy or whatever right so so I try and use the networks I have and buy from people I know I'm so I contacted him and he's Oh Mos- I'm having a real. I'm struggling. I'm I'm really struggling because I asked about school. How's it going and he's like Oh? I've got full Gen ed classes. I'm doing okay into you know he was giving me a whole Lotta doubt and I was like you know well aw I think we need to talk. I think you need to know that I'm behind you one hundred percent but you need to get through these pre recs so do you want to talk now and we we did and I basically said to him. Give me your excuses. Tell me give me two excuses why this is not getting so well and while I'm left handed and all the desks right handed I want you have to advocate feel south young lamb younis email your professors and tell them you need left-handed desk Is that what it takes. That's what you gotTa do and if they don't have a left hand to death you make sure you bring a binder and you put on your left hand underneath you left handed and you start taking notes and this is talk like like yes. This is not an excuse. No no no. You're giving him matter. You need to hear it from me Mama Mos- Berry who's taking care of you for four years in high school and now you you left me and you'll give me that as an excuse I was mad. That's not happening. Give me another excuse. He goes just so boring on like I fully Hulu. I WANNA fall asleep. When you take any notes I said? Do you have your laptop open. He goes yeah. I have my laptop. I said shut that Damn Laptop shut it. Put your phone owning your bag and take notes you take every single note that's given to you whatever's on the whiteboard whatever's on the overhead whatever that person saying and you take think notes and then you text them to me at the end of the session because it's a five to accession sleepy. He's been working day you text them to me. I'll do that. Mrs Malls Berry Yes because you board because you're not concentrating. You're on your laptop and you're distracted. You Look at your phone forward distraction action and then now you don't listen as we've discussed this for hours in school because nobody's watching you. There's no memo's bury their what she can do right right and so I'm waiting. I'm waiting for tonight because he's in classes and I am. I GonNa get you know those. Get your that and this because I want to see him. Try is all about trying and I think because we had that conversation he'll get through. He just needs to see you guys. This is really who she is by the way this is her her. She is no nonsense. No not and it's delivered would love it really is deliver would love and that's why this is a love logical Michael Soul. Thank yes so yeah I mean it means a lot and then the third thing I wrote down on my notes was my own children. and you know when you're raising using your own kids you do the best you and I think I'm not as patient with them as I am with my children at school but my youngest my holy she always struggles with the fact that she feels like she doesn't know everything like Haydn or that. I didn't know that I'm like okay honey well. You'll all the youngest you eleven years old. You're not supposed to know everything right but the one thing that really bothered her was my sister in law and my my brother-in-law they married. I think it's twelve years now. Thirteen years ago and Jeff had two sons from a previous I really well holly hasn't known any different this anti Nikola. There's Uncle Jeff and then there's the two boys and they're adults. Some one of them even has a baby now. So now anti Nikolas a grandma and Uncle Jeff visit a grandfather one day I think it was about a year ago she found out that call and Aaron were not Nicholas Biological Children and she nearly had a heart attack. Why and she's like Doc? I don't believe it. I don't get it. I don't understand it's called an Aaron..

And make sure you check unschooled in the one question survey after checkout. What's interesting about the history of LA is what a multicultural city. It's always been. And that's one of the things that actually like a about the casting of this movie. Is you see that? This was always such a melting pot of different communities. I mean Chinatown LA, you know, it existed in the late nineteenth century. It's been here forever. You know? It's it's where like Union Station is today, China China do used to be and then they put a whole very street there, and they made a new Chinatown, then they actually made this other thing called China city. Yeah. The woman who made over street people who live in LA, we'll know over street is like kind of imitation Mexican village. It's reminds me of you know, being home and in the woman who built that also built this include China's city where she like took some of the props from the good earth this movie that also came out in like legit 1937, and she put that building there, and they had this like fake Chinatown. But then the real Chinatown was also being built around the same time lex north Trenton wasn't even in V regional script like the -cation of times referenced. But those that Polanski added any he's, you know, we need to we should end the movie in Chinatown, which is so interesting because it's such a pivotal scene in the entire film, and the only seen where are three leads are all on screen together. They're never together except for that that one little moment. And what's so interesting is how they sort of resist saying Chinatown for a beat because they're there because MRs Mauricio for Khan lives in Chinatown. He's told her to go like meet him at contests and conscious gives the address over he lives, and there's a Jack Nicholson won't say the word Chinatown when he realizes where it is. And he just won't do it. He won't say the word, and I think that's so interesting structurally because there's a lot in here about characters won't come out and say what they mean. But are making it really obvious. They won't say it all the times that fade don't always stumbles over the word husband, or like, she's like my husband or like, even even even this little joker here that happens in Jack Nicholson is talking to Faye Dunaway. No question from us. Right. Mrs mall, right. Frankly tonight, you save my. You say my neck did away. It's a little bit overdone. But you know, what he's trying. Now, the guy who told her embarrassing horrible. John chinaman, Joe is at least know watching his words. Let's talk about free Dunaway in this. Character originally, it was going to be alley McGraw, but she divorced producer, Robert Evans. Kids stays in the picture, Robert Evans, classic insane. Robert Evans for Steve McQueen. He's like, well, you won't be in that movie. And then Robert Evans wanted gene Funda for the part, but Roman plants didn't want. Jane funny wanted Faye? Dunaway and Faye. Dunaway. Kind of coming off this weird run films because she had been amazing in bonding, CLYDE, we talked about it on the show. And then what it does to movies after that that don't really connect the three musketeers is one of them and another film that just was not kind of paying off in the premise of how. How amazing people thought she was going to be. But in this film, you can see Jack Nicholson. Oh, that's Jack movie. I see him. He always feels a little bit like Jack Nicholson this character feels so incredibly different from her portrayal bonding, CLYDE. Yeah. I mean, I think what's so interesting about this character is like, you never know when she's lying, and she's like incredibly mask like honestly, you know, her face is done like a mask, the lips the perfect eyebrows. I mean, I think Fay was saying that the only thing room implants gave really cared about was her makeup, which was based on his own mother's look pre World War Two, which is interesting. That's well, putting that in the context of his mom, dying Auschwitz. That's okay. Yeah. He said that that was like he was very specific about wanting that that lipstick in the shape of a cupid's bow. And and she looks jarring in a way as those penciled on eyebrows. Like, you said to mask she doesn't break the mask in like a you can't tell what the mask is four for. So. Long. I mean, right. She's definitely lying about something. We don't really get it. She's got all these layers to to this performance, but they're hidden under this complete composure that she almost never breaks. You know, what I think really knocked me out about it is like even not getting direction from Polanski, you know, about her character's motivation. But you think like this is a part where she'd really liked somebody to kind of say like, here's some dimensions of the scene. Let's really talk about it. This is not the kind of part. We just wanna be thrown into the deep end in to figure it out by yourself, which she did she did these little things that I find really smart like I pulled a clip from the scene where she's just been in bed with Jack Nicholson, and he brings up her father. And you hear some nerves in her voice. You hear that something is up. But it's this physical thing. She does where she's been comfortable being topless in bed with him. And suddenly you watch or start to cover up her body. It's almost like this. Involuntary response to thinking of dad into protecting herself. It has to do. He he owns it. You know? I saw on.

"Five five three nine twelve ten. Okay. So. The hearings continue. Dawn they were very upset with the president for serving the kids fast food is this the gym blossoms. Yes. Aren't they? They're playing at parks, right? Yeah. In february. February I want to go to that. We know somebody who can. I think we have in there. I think you've emceed comedy event or to their right? That'd be nice. So dawn, the president served the kids burgers and fries at the White House, which I think is so cool because first of all, I know two things college kids, love fast, food, an athlete. Slow fast food too. I'm not an athlete at never was. But I was a college kid and I love fast food, then guys love fast food. Let's just be honest. Right. So the president made this comment about he was gonna serve salads. And clearly this is a joke. He he he said he was going to have Malania make salad. Is anyone really believe that Melania? Trump would be in the kitchen shredding the lettuce. Does anyone think that? No, okay. So when when he makes the joke. It's obviously a joke. Right. Yeah. Okay. Let me give you an example last night. We made I made dinner. Am I always cook? I cook all the time. The one thing I won't touched on as salad. I'm I'm petrified of it. So if we want to serve salad, and my wife has to handle it. I'm not going near that wretched, Nicole like stuff disease ridden vegetable. But it's not sexist to say that she makes the salad and the fam- I make every day. I make ninety nine percent of the food. So if they say, okay, you make something how is it sexist? Most guys are cooks the cooks, most men, probably most chefs are men you go to a restaurant. Odds are the man is the head chef the executive chef check about it. When you go out to restaurants now, most of the time, give me some names of some famous restaurant tours. Star right, man. Jose Garcia man with women problems. I. Who else Danny Meyer wall, burgers, although MRs mall burger is MRs Whistler is very big on that too. But most chefs executive chefs are men of all, right? Bobby flay? Well, yeah, give me some names to the chefs in Atlantic City. Go ahead. Hey, guys, guys. Yup. Who else? I'm blanking. I'm blanking casinos in Atlantic City, and they're big name restaurants. They're all guys true. Ed palladino restaurant. Luke palladino restaurant. He has a restaurant. What's that British guy from FOX? Gordon ramsay. Okay. So Gordon Ramsay has a huge pub. They're huge inside Bally's. Right. Dan. Caesar's whatever. And there's all these different restaurant you over the ties and may have a number of restaurants there Kuba libra, right? Which is a it's a star place. Isn't it star place? Ken Starr's place. Ken stevens. Stephen starr. All right. So how is it sexist and lesser say the less? Right. Which one is the lesser unless he wants well advertised with us that he's the greater star. If he wants to give us trae. Does this show and have dinner, then then he'll be the better the greater star? So how is it sexist exactly to say that somebody's making food to preparing food? How does that become sexist? No. I I in for from that that she loves salad that she's like fruit analogy. Trump. We all know he loves fat. I mean, you, you know, the guy he's you've said he genuinely loves vegetables, he won't go near them. But I think I I have heard like she. She absolutely loves a good salad. So I think it was more of salads her department as she loves I love burgers beef today went out to lunch with some physicians from premier orthopedics and. Rebecca who handles all of the marketing, she had a salad strawberries on it lettuce YoM. She what did I get? I got a cheeseburger and fries. Got obviously. And so, you know, but I don't think it's a sexist thing. I just think it's a healthy thing. She's healthy. And I have no interest in it. Right. Sexist thing. No. There's a great line from Seinfeld were Jerry Seinfeld. Orders a salad when he's on a date. And he goes out just have a salad. He goes. And you hear him in his head going just the salad just a salad. So he feels like he's not manly enough. And so he orders a steak, but the idea that it's sexist to say, hey, Honey, go make me a salad. There's not a guy who's ever honor those words in his life. He might have said county. Get me a beer, right? Right. But never is a guy been, hey, give me in the guy's a salad. A little bit. Like, we got scurvy. We need some vegetables you ever heard that. Now, I've never heard that in my life. But now this is Trump's joke, and I'm gonna hear the reaction of Erin Burnett and some other people so it starts off with them. Introducing the clip, and then the clip and then their reaction to it. All right, good. This is the president. He did go ahead with some meeting status by shutdown including one with the Clemson Tigers right for championship meeting. And here's what he said. So I had a choice. Do we have no food for you? Because we have a shutdown. What did we give you some little quick salads that the first lady will make along with along with the second lady, they'll make some salads. And I said, you guys aren't into salads or do I go out, Lindsey Graham, and Tim Scott? Do I go out and send out for about one thousand hamburgers? That's appalling. It seems to me like the president will not be happy until there is not one single female Republican voter in the country. I certainly didn't take his comments to be sexist. I think that if somebody took them that way, you know. That's that's fine. Donald Trump says is being exactly how in the world not perceive that a sexist to say sumptious wife's going to go make salads for the bunch ballplayers. What is she like the cook? Well, I didn't I didn't hear it that way. Almost every night for dinner. I mean, we make a lot of salads. All for you. Maybe she does she makes up. But that's not what he's I didn't. I didn't. I didn't take it that way. If somebody took it that way. That's fine. I didn't it didn't strike me that way, I think he was trying to make a joke about feeding hamburgers to football players. I think you might be overrating this one okay now again. Hey, howdy. Gave me a salad. We go cheese and strawberries audit, put some of them little thing. He's on there. The what do you call them? The nuts with us at Amami shows on salads. Right awful, garnish it up a bit guarded shit up. Got listen Joey wants to dressing on the side. This watches. Have you got any of the strawberry? Balsamic? Why not too much not too much? What what is that? I was at sexist the White House chef executive chef is a guy. Guy. At which Jesus there right now. Listen, can you go higher on the turnip ROY Moore? Route baker. I didn't get any craisins on mine wrong with you woman. We have we have exclusive audio of Monty at Trump making salad for us. We'd like to hear that. I have some crazies with some good cheese. Some shallots would make the salad because that's all I make. I don't make the rest you make you can make the burgers of by the burgers, not good for you. Whatever she said, I'm not serving that to the kids whatever she said, no way, those kids are eating this. So again, a sexist like Melania Trump is going to run back to the kitchen of the White House and start shopping romaine. Does anyone think that's what he meant? No, no, no. I would love to get. I I'll take my own poll. But I really think that's what she does. I don't think she's a cook. I don't think she's somebody who likes to cook in the kitchen, by the way. Yeah. But I think she makes it a mean salad. I mean, that's just what it strikes me that she makes a salad and looking at her and her we'll probably eat salad all the time. When when McDonald's is served on air force what I'm going with the salad. Yeah. He doesn't go near it. I think if it were up to him he wouldn't even serve it at as clubs and restaurants, except for people want it. So that's what I've eaten in terms of at no point is that sexist. It's just that she's the healthy one and the president could lose a pound or two, but he doesn't care. He's big guy. So I guess he hides it. Well, but he makes no bones about it. He is not has no interest in will never become a healthy eater zero. Right. Right. Like me, his arteries are so clogged inner space like the Dennis Quaid. Martin short would have to shrink down just to get threats sexist. But the funny thing is the guy doesn't drink or smoke like. So he's healthy that way by alcohol would make you healthy big. I'm a big believer in that. That's scientific. Yeah. That's why you can have fast food and live the smoking things. But how about this though?.
