"What I've got to tell you may shock and surprise you. But if you listen up, it may change your life. If you're sitting down now, right? Try this experiment. You're sitting down on a chair. Right. And I'm gonna do it here with you sit down and share and then gradually come up to a standing position. Most of us were sitting down we stand up and do it real quickly right sitting now stand up right that doesn't require any intensity. But if you take sixty seconds to go from a sitting position to a standing position super super slowly, you can start to feel your hamstrings shake your gluts, shake as this intensity. And as resistance is being piled on the lower part of your body. You'll only going to be able to do one sitting to standing position maybe two if you take sixty seconds to do them. And these are great just sitting to standing is a great gluten work. Ask your, but a great workout a great hamstring work. You may even get some quadriceps and five. Out of the deal. If you do it correctly in it'll take you sixty seconds. And if you do it correctly, you maybe you'll be able to do two of them, two minute, workout, maybe a three minute workout. You'll have the best hamstring glorious Maximus, but workout that you probably ever had in your life. It'll take you two to three minutes. So this is especially true, by the way on the upper part, the last part of the workout. That's where the resistance is the highest on the last part of the work at that's when it takes the most effort, unfortunately, this is also the point where we tend to use the most momentum. We'll tell you the first six innings. It was I don't wanna say boring, but it really came down to one pick mitch's raw throwing great. It's just really wasn't much going on. It was really both sides throwing the ball real. Well, then things got little crazy. Jackie hitting the bomb and next thing. You know, we all this point Walker Buehler's just a footnote in this game. Did he pitch lead? Very well. Two strikes to our Baier's is ready the patch and its low. Buehler. Had one of the bench. World Series performances by rookie ever seven scoreless innings. He'll have nothing to do with this one is a turns out, but. Right now. To me. It wasn't that. You know, he just put up zero. It was how we did it dominated. Three balls and two strikes to Pedro bias. Baseman guarding the line. I'll feel extremely. Pedro bias delivering the state Pierce here. It is. And he takes ball four biased Ottawa strike three. It was down in a slider. And now Mookie is coming along with the go ahead run it. I mean, Steve Pearce that is a great at-bat here. This is debt slider who just down as Ted could've given it to him. I mean, if you're not happy about it. And this is the time to get it. Because you've got a pitcher on the mound that thinks he don't miss that. Call. He's not happy about the walk loose concentration for a split. Second. Mookie make you pay hooky all for four tonight. One game to second baseman just to the right? A second big on the right side. As ready? Sats long sat now he deals and Mookie swings in it's a high fly to right center field. Because I got your texts of me to introduce you that way is that. Okay. Yeah. It's all right here. We go. I do what I can do. As we do that. We're a little loosely right now. Which would that well twenty minutes ago? I was the most handsome now. He is. Yeah. Feel like it's losing. Yeah. A little bit of its. I met the qualifications. The most handsome man in studio. Okay. Good. Good. Good. God he busted busted me hard. I know that now. We mentioned earlier in the program about the quantify ability of what we talk about 'em. Okay. I want to just if you don't mind you wanna talk briefly about Andy Andy and also handy Andy itself what a phenomenal. Accomplishment and story, which is Representative of what you have been talking about since the very beginning of this program. What what would you like to discuss specifically, Leonard? I would like to the implementation of the subject matter that we bring up all the way from conscious capitalism cetera. That's been applied and apply. It to that growth that realizes where we are today. Well, I mean, we we chose to saturated market to show that our skills our processes our systems are the difference between success and failure irregardless of this saturated in the marketplace, we chose a difficult business climate in order to apply these skills to the show differentiation, and we went into the marketplace with five hundred plus competitors and went from the bottom to the top and under two years and you've seen the exceptional growth. We built all of the accessory businesses around it, and you're seeing how all that works in a synergistic relationship and the development of the young men that are in studio is the difference between success and failure. If you ask them where they started a year ago two years ago and where they are today. They will be this is of the growth that they went through. And all the skill sets that they've acquired along the way, and we can go into any number of those from the principles that we build on from trust to trustworthiness empowerment alignment those four principles. How? Trust relates to our business trust in our business predictibility predicted behavior. That's what trust means trustworthiness is based on an individual's character who the are when we're not around and who they are when we're not looking and their competence. How will the understand what's required of them? And do they have the tools training resources and support to be successful? And that's the entrepreneurship program that we built and our empowerment phase is more aligned for management. So in the management phase, it's cool training resources support. That's what I do for the boys. And that's what the boys do for demand that they are responsible for and then at the organizational level it's in principle. Are we all going the same direction working towards the same outcomes? And are we all in alignment with those score principles? We build these businesses and we compete in the marketplace in week walk rate in the workplace, so we're all on the teams working for the same outcome. And we're all in alignment, so that is the synergistically. Relationships that we've created, and that's the culture of cooperation that we've created and the market has responded very well favorable to us, and we're consistently growing and and challenging the men in in studio to continue to grow and get outside their comfort zone. Stay uncomfortable. When they're uncomfortable, they grow and when they're comfortable, they get lazy. So I make sure they are never ever comfortable ever. I keep consistent pressure on them. I want to turn over to Andrew and also to rich specifically of what Jim has just shared with us, and that perspective not necessarily going all the way to the beginning to where we are now. But in recent times, how have you seen your application of what am okay provides in your shop with handy. Andy can you expand on what Jim has talked about how that's communicative from him to you. And you to your team. So he pretty much gave you the critical path and what we're implementing and now it's cool that we're in a position to be able to see it play out. If you start back with empowerment empowers us, and then we in turn learn how to empower the men desired outcome, and when they really have the buy in. And then they believe in in the south. That's been told to them. You get a pretty good reaction. Okay. Rich about you. Yeah. I mean, the the Bill Andrews saying is the empowerment scientists huge within our team because they're understanding the alignment what we're trying to accomplish. And everyone has a role in trying to accomplish. And once we've developed that then we can start building their capacity. Once I understand what their purposes they wanna get better and the same exact concept everyone thinks that it's a process that's just happening from us down. No, it's happening from the top down. Jim puts pressure on a self to perform he puts pressure on. We put pressure on a guys, and we don't use pressure in a negative way. We'd look at it as a growth opportunity because when you start taking on these responsibility, and you start pushing yourself, that's when you start building capacity and went Jim was talking about early. Knowledge is power like growth is power, and you can never that can never be taken away from any one of our our guys these guys who are part of our team. They don't realize how special they are. So we're in a prototype. Phase. Right. So that means we're always working on optimization. So things changed systems processes change all the time. And the fact that they're able to still stick with us in the mission and knowing that we have their best interests at hand is a huge. Testament to them their belief system. Yeah. I feel like we're circling navigating the central topic to hit on it written on it drew hidden in Jim also hit on in its trust. It's the trust that things are going to be the way they want them to be. And it's all in that Simon cynics version of two different ways to get people to make decisions you either manipulate or you motivate right, or he uses a different term than motivate. But it's the same concept right manipulation is the by now get one free buy one get one half off. Here's an incentive, you're manipulating people or you can inspire them get them aligned. And that's what we're talking about here. The trust is the alignment, that's how people fall into alignment with us. And it works inside the company it works outside the company works at people. You're doing business with works that people who are doing business in the same field is you and find out. Oh my gosh. I could be aligned with these people, and it would be a better future for me that trusting plays out huge. And it's the first thing that Jim ever taught me was trust and a big big deal. So can you relate to us Andrew and also rich conversations? Just briefly, but exemplary of when you implement which too many are going to be new concepts and new ways of doing business. What has been the correspondence with your team? Has there been a conversation that stood out where there was a concern? Or there was a question or maybe confusion, and they need clarity. Or an how did it the reason? I know not yet reason except for the reason why is it those who are dialed in right now, they may have that very same issue of trying to have an accomplishment that you're realizing. But maybe they're not going about it the ideal way. Can you share example? So every I wouldn't say the pushback, we'd be the word, but there's always confusion. Well, things were this way last month. Why is it changing this month because you know, we get the metrics? So we can analyze the data in determine what's the best course of action going forward. So they don't understand that aspect. And so it's up to us to be able to convey the reason why we're doing this and have them by into our decisions. I think of great application for. For people listening would be. When you're that leadership position start ask questions, that's probably the biggest thing because a lot of times you'll be in the room and you'll be telling everyone what to do. Right. Nobody is gonna listen to you, the listen to you while in the room, but they're not gonna listen to in the workspace going into that conversation understanding what your goal is for that meeting or whatever you're trying to accomplish figure out what the team's perspective is because while you're doing that listening process, you're going to be growing as well. As also you're creating buying for your team. So ask questions, you know, funnel those questions. And also whenever there's a question posed always ask for the solution. Okay. So if this is our problem, what are we doing to accomplish it and give me the critical path to do it. And then they're gonna give you the critical path. And if you like that direction, you can deviate from its slightly or say, hey, you know, I think we should look at this approach and then make it measurable. Okay. How long is it going to take until you accomplish? What do you need from me in order to accomplish that every one of our meetings that Andrew, and I walk out of is what do you need for me to be successful? Now because you know, who did that us, Jim? That would be raising our principal. Here's here's one thing. That's very interesting about that. So he's he always poses a solution. But not every team member is going to have a solution. And it's on us to identify the strengths weaknesses where people before asking them to do. So because I'm gonna be upset with you. When I know that you're not equipped to answer this or come up with the solution percent myself up for failure. So by knowing your people, you wouldn't ask them to come up this solution. If you knew you know, they're rap to their ability to situation. Yeah. Have you we've stumbled upon that? We're like, okay. This is pretty simple what the solution is you've agreed that you understand what it is. But you haven't. And if I were to take a little bit more time to really understand that person's situation, and I would never have let that play out. But if you entreat others to participate, and they come up with well as a matter of fact, rich, this is what I think we should do if we do this at the other. You you listen. But at the end of the day doesn't meet what your metric demands, it it doesn't rise to what you believe is best that commute. Vacation to that individual. How do you communicate to them effectively without alienating or what have you that? Thank you for the assistance, but we're going to move this way. Do we need to be that hyper sensitive about how people react if their ideas are not embraced in input into play. So yes, or no. And here's what I said that. Like, for example, maybe one of the guys that has empowered the situation or he's brought forth. Good information. You took it. And then the next month. He did it again, you took it and the next month. You like no was not good. Well, you're starting to build a pattern. That's a pattern interrupt. Like, okay. What did I do wrong?.

He's an Uber driver as well as being a a former employee of Silicon Valley. He's done a lot of things in his life, but I go to him when I have my questions about the Uber world. We first met cliff Hicks. When I was curious to know why my you know, you got a rating as a as a ride, not just as it was low, it was. It was lower than I thought it'd be perfect live. I can't imagine what I was like a four point three or something. You write home a couple of nights. I never pooped in your car or anything anyway. So that's when we first met cliff. But we've gone too many times and I wanted to talk to him about the experience I had in San Diego. Remember when I was down there for the deaf down there. For comic con I had a death driver which both delighted and perplexes me at the same time it should. And so I wanted to talk about that. He had secrets about Uber that I had no idea that he shared with us in this conversation. We also talked a little bit about that new eight I program. They've been toying with that claims that can tell whether you're drunk or not. When you ask for your your all that more in this conversation with our Uber expert, cliff Hicks, cliff, how are you sir? Pretty good about yourself. I'm good. So you were not surprised to hear that. I had a deaf over driver now. So there are several thousand deaf or hearing impaired Uber drivers that are in right now. It's not real well advertised, but they've been around for quite some time and they actually do more driving per hour or per day than the average Uber driver. And I did a little research. Turns out that the heart of hearing community and the deaf community is woefully underemployed for the most part. So this is kind of cool of Uber to step up and give them an opportunity. Yeah..
