Disney Plus Launches Star, A Streaming Outlet With More Grown-Up Fare

"Knew that star was launching february twenty third which recording this yesterday. I am in canada. So i have access to it along with australia. New zealand parts of europe in singapore. So a few countries have this new section on their disney plus app. And it's a big deal. It's a big deal for me. Because we get all the wes anderson movies. It's a big deal for some other people because they get like twenty four and richard devine from window. Central is tweeting about how much she loves. Twenty four and jack bowers back baby and all that so. I just wanted to talk about where we are in terms of streaming. I know disney or marvel disney made a big bunch of big announcement this morning On when the next set of mcu in star wars shows will be released on disney plus. And then there's all the other services right. There's hbo max there's peacock there's discovery plus there's Paramount plus. I guess if you want to call that new and all this leads to confusion for people who just want to find the show to watch. So let's start with disney. They now have ninety five million subscribers. They are doing really really well. In terms of expansion into new countries. This new star lodge is a big deal so give us the t. l. Dr if you will of why star launched now and why. It's a big deal for people outside the us lawyers. It's always the lawyers. Yeah i say why did it launch now because this is when they could finally agree on. Okay here's where the contracts in so we can pick things up. Yeah the the. The really oversimplified version is this in the united states. We have hulu and hulu has basically everything. That's not under the five pillars of disney plus in those disney star. Wars marvel pixar in national geographic. Anything outside of that. you what. You're forgetting well. I was gonna say you're forgetting the pillar of twentieth century fox and twentieth century fox which is on hulu so so virtually anything outside of those five pillars in the. Us will find on hulu yes. They're exceptions the problem is hulu is not anywhere in the rest of the world. It's a decidedly american phenomenon and so disney needed a way to get all this content to everybody else in pay by the way they get to charge a little more for it too and that became star the way they first announced it they do it. What other earnings calls last year It was a little like just weird. I didn't even fully understand it at the time and it took a little while to sink in and then the developer not developer days there investor days into simmer november december whenever that was explained. It a little better really. It's just that simple if it's if it's content you can probably find on hulu here in the us it's going to be on star everywhere else. So given that disney twentieth century fox. They bought a. They bought that from fox which was previously a shareholder in hulu disney is now the majority shareholder of hulu. Why can't they just bring hulu to the rest of the world. What is that. I mean i don't know the brand well who owns. Who is the issue there although disney now entirely owns who if i correct right they finish tying their last pieces of hulu like two years ago for for all intents and purposes and there might be somebody with a little sliver but it it's a disney joint partially owned by comcast but they're buying it slowly over the next few years right. Yeah that was an agreement that was made a couple of years ago but But that's why comcast is okay. All of our stuff is leaving hulu at this date because we will no longer have a share in it and it's all going to peacock But yeah the reason that who didn't exist in all these other countries was media streaming lauzon like entertainment and streaming laws vary by country by country. It takes a lot of money to get the rights to a decent amount of shows in places other than the us so it was a matter of hulu. Didn't really have the time or the or the money to spend on investing in trying to build up a catalog and other countries the only other country that hulu is in outside of the united states is japan. And i'm not sure how much longer is going to be there since they're probably going to roll it into star but it's disney had the clout to roll around the disney also already had rights to a lot of these things or the released they in contracts and have the rights back right so it's just easier to bring a new sub domain umbrella underneath disney plus put all the twentieth century fox content in there called star and make it a separate kind of expansion for everybody who already has disney plus. All star is disney. Plus for grownups. It's harder to always you know proper phones not anymore. But that's a. That's a good analogy. Yeah all right. So we we have star. It's got all the twentieth century fox stuff. I think it's got more than that. That's also where a lot of like. Abc television stuff ended up. It's also where a bunch of other like indie stuff that disney and fox had bought up over the years. Anything fox searchlight his ended up in there. That's why it's it's a huge a collection of content. I'm amazed that they were able to get the international rights for those together quickly. Enough for star for the international launches. So the question. I have is is disney. Plus going to host new content in star is that is this where they're going to compete with netflix and hbo for adult viewership or are they still kind of not really aiming at that audience. No actually. I think you've got that right in. It's going to get a little weird because contents can vary by country but you can see that a little bit in the in the Release lists you get you get stuff that is decidedly more adult in there and and part of that is just from the content. That's coming out of those houses in the first place. If you look at specifically fx stuff here it's called fx. Hulu it is it is. I don't know that. I'd go so far as to say it's r rated but it's pretty damn close. Fx is yeah fx is definitely not child-friendly content like ninety percent of it like isn't fx. Were archer lives yeah. Fx is is archer archer archers ethics original sort of But yeah we look at the. The new exclusive stuff like fx on hulu like depths. Was one. I loved last year. I thought it was excellent right up until the end and it went. A little off the rails. Mrs america was on there as well. I mean there's stuff that the you wouldn't even otherwise necessarily see on cable but that they're streaming in that fashion. lets them. do you know just a little more than they. otherwise would have And it's not something that you would see on disney plus so this gives them another conduit for that stuff as well. Yeah and the brand new original content is also going. It's going to vary by the audience category. 'cause like anything that's marvel or star wars is not going to be listed under the star brand period. If it belongs to one of those temples it's still going to be disney plus branded and everything starts going to have the both labels at the bottom whenever they're advertising it but it's a matter of if we're going to do original series if it's pg or if it's pg thirteen below it'll probably be disney plus branded and if it's not pg thirteen disney and pg thirteen and up will probably be star

And I also think the nineties is not easy to come down there. Now that I know I hate add the night. It's been very hard to sort of capture as period I thought they did such a good job. They did really well thought the design of it was great and I think the I. Mean I. Yeah. I think you're spot on and saying they captured the nineties specifically watched it unlike what did they do because I'm going to be in that world so I think the designer everything was tapping. "Mrs America fans stand by in honor of our friend and speedy recovery to Sammy who's our call screener and deny all around if you look at different options of dancing since last this portion of the show homes you know Chicago welcome back is sponsored by the fine people of comment energy efficiency program rose pest solutions fidelity national title Republic bank and peerless fence was going to be making their first appearance I believe next week then next weekend except FOR lunch from them and they do a great job bought a vinyl fence because I don't want to deal with the upkeep I could use a great value guiding ideas guys are great so yeah so I'm looking forward to heaven the folk the fine folks from peerless fence out so let's talk about bugs yeah we were talking about cicadas before the break I want to thank seven await for sending me a picture of a gigantic cicada I appreciate that so okay so we have cicadas yeah and and we had some other questions from from from Texters about I want to get to it says here it's not all about the little crazy little bugs red spider bugs how do you get rid of them and she also has a question about another texture has a question about keeping bugs out of sand boxes or something safe because they have a granddaughter gets have a sandbox so we have read crazy little red spider bugs and questions and how to keep bugs out of a sand box start with those two and okay talk about what do we want all this water is doing everything else okay so the sandbox thing the best thing to do is keep it covered especially if it's gonna rain you don't want moisture getting in there that's going to create a breeding haven for things like cat naps in the ski does and all kinds of things to get it covered keep it covered make sure that nothing can crawl up underneath the sides of it too you really where kids are playing you really don't want to use pesticides or chemicals so that is really like that the only sure fire way to to eliminate that as a breeding ground for pasts regarding the little red spiders I think that person was talking about clover mites have you ever heard of that clover mites they're teeny tiny and they look like they're full of blood because they're both great read and they come out of plants there vegetation past the old building how does he know cells and stuff and if you go to cemex smashing the smear minute looks like blood but it's not blood these things are just brightly colored vegetation pasts in because the ground is saturated with you know all kinds of rain water that's they're coming up from the ground like everything else so how do you treat it so the front for clover mites and things like that for any kind of vegetation past that is easily treated with a perimeter treatment around the outside of the house most of what we do can be done from the outside and then if there are areas on the inside where these things are hanging out around windows or doors we spot treat those areas too and is there an over the counter product our listeners could buy if they don't want to hire professional pest remover and is it as effective that's the thing is like there's a lot of products out there there's sprays or aerosols but the problem with a lot of those is that they're not residual meaning they're not going to stick around once you apply them they dissipate so it's not gonna be a long term solution but more or more importantly having that expert you know education behind these past in the biological information allows us to get to the root of the problem properly everything finding where they start from where they originate why are they there you know we get we that's that's what you pay for when you hire a professional service you get the expertise in that insight that are are people have gone through with lots of schooling to learn so that's a difference like just like you know if you're sick you could go to the doctor or you could try to buy something off the shelf and see if it works you know it's it's one of those scenarios and if our listeners have any.

"So I'm going to recommend the show. Mrs America on Hulu It's an fx on Hulu show It's all about like second wave feminism. In the seventies like Gloria Steinem, And Betty for Dan, and but it's like mostly following Cate Blanchett as Phyllis Schlafly who's like conservative woman trying to stop the era from being passed. It's Kinda wild, but it's incredible. I really been enjoying it. It has a really nuance job of portraying second wave. Feminists Feminism highly recommend. Meanwhile I have been listening to a podcast that. Some here might be familiar with It's called. My Dad wrote a porno. It is an award winning comedy podcast. It is some of the most absurd. I ever listened to basically the concept. is that this gentleman and his friends They are reading aloud. The gentleman's father's romance novel and this this Older Gentleman is writing romance for the first time and It is some of the raunchiest most messed up, but like hilarious material. And just. Very amateur rating as well and I don't exactly know how this man and his father have like retained relationship, because they absolutely destroy this novel in their criticisms, and it's it's big got a huge following. They've got like three hundred thousand followers on instagram right now. I. Am only on listening. I've only just started the first book and I know that the. The father the DAD has written. I think five now so. There's a lot of material and for people who are maybe afraid of romance. Maybe this isn't going to be Your Cup of tea. Just because it is so bonkers, bananas but at the same time. Maybe it will make other romance more palatable. WHO's to say? Well, my Gosh I love that I, WanNa go listen my recommendation It's kind of silly, but it's what's been keeping me. Entertained and feeling so I didn't tell him tell. Like masters. On Hulu it's wonderful. My brothers were super into like when we were kids and I was always disappointed that I. make cool stuff like they did so now i. just watch like a masters. And it's beautiful, and after you left and I'm GonNa be a little sad when it's over so. You're up for season two, so you guys mentioned Like your graphic designer and the instagram accounts at the characters, but where can we find? Consensual and then any personal projects or sites that you guys WanNa plug. You can find US primarily on Instagram at consensual pod. We should have the teaser hopefully by the time this episode is, our teaser will be up on spotify. You can go give it a listen and follow. Follow ten. We turn about so when the first episode drops in June, it will pop up in your spotify feed. you can follow me personally at be Grizz on all things to hear me. "Job right okay so let's get started with this thing I've heard rumblings about on Hulu Mrs America yeah this is a show that I want everyone to watch because it's based on a true story takes the early seventies it's about the equal rights amendment and how she plans sure she placed those show last week and she was staunchly against women rights and we see her going up against people like Shirley Chisholm and Gloria Steinem and Betty for Dan so in that area of the seventies we think woman's right come into play and then now with our clients how would street repeating itself and that the social Y. want people to watch and see what happens when we don't pay attention history without knowing your eyes out to today well I mean in so many ways yeah I mean so many obvious ways and I bet there's a bunch of the less obvious which is why we should probably watch it to find out but the thing I am struck by with the series is just the cast alone okay so I need to get lashed out at you about who won and useful largest new clock she's surely check them and she will chart rip your heart out as surely and again parallels with her character to the current environment just a Roseburg please quote Gloria Steinem the phenomenal treat the almond is Betty for Dan and the most recent apps are all locked her lips with banks Margo Martindale John Slattery I mean it it's just this incredible catch all doing things that you kind of don't expect from them in a way interesting I'm you know I'm you know how can I ask you this question Paul I don't know the answer for this but I think this one kind of flew under the radar just showed up in our streaming why why was this not marketed heavily I don't think it has well I have something to do with the fact that it affects network show that only streaming exclusively on Hulu okay so you know we we know all of the Ryan Murphy shows are on act now they have a new contract with who's I think its search you're not actively watching fox or might actually have a clue on you wouldn't see from what part should have that Ryan Murphy field even though it's not one of his shot with you now but if you're paying attention to who led up to the great program you may end up seeing out sports on that blue bottle parts for it so they're available now at least one day we'll get a new apostolic the one thing I did notice and I think this might have something to do with that is there is a huge like you know banner ad push at least I just remember seeing a lot of banner ads and trailers for it probably before we all went into you know our current situation and then I think we all have that current situation happen right and so bunch of stuff that was ready to be you know unleashed sort of maybe got drowned out someone it said that it was like oh yeah I know that's actually coming it's here right and I think people have to determine to what do they want their entertainment to be topical and something that that we can learn from work they just wanted to be mocked you know brain cat yeah good America will definitely make you think I will make you think about how you want to use your voice for the better and you will find yourself shouting at the screen the plan which targets the aisle with you all that or you know all these topics that you believe that any if you were against you know Phyllis Schlafly like I am like you will hate people accident because she's so good and so calculating but then you're cheering for you know the court's time and I'm not sure which is and you're rooting for their characteristics the guy and it's like how the parabolic arc in kind how which we view is first to connect those dots to tell what's so interesting about that is in so many different ways we're seeing art imitating life and in most you know even more just to kind of like make the loop loop here the art imitating life imitating art imitating life with right leg was seen he eats itself sometimes through an artist's offering of history so it's just how timely this is M. and I do wish that it had been that I I guess I wish more people knew about it and that's what we're doing here right stalking about it thank god how many tickets and I want so four out of five minutes I want people to watch it on Hulu again this is America let me know what you think follow me on Instagram Twitter I want to watch them occupy to check that out well I mean that that's definitely on our list in our house so the other thing that's on my list as well for other reasons for so many reasons but mostly because I loved this book when I was a child little man you got you know if you miss the most recent version of Mike Ruddock Ehrlich dated feeders was after six Oscar nominations it's now the hawks blue ray DVD on demand so can if you want another like a large female based ensemble which fades faster tractors that will just make you feel good maybe you know shattered Europe during its available free right now and I what I love about it is a lot that credit karma gave off forty sisters their own voice and their own opinion on shell backpack in the unit they grow up in the civil rights era civil war era yeah I loved this book and I have never how do I say this I have never loved a stage or movie version of the S. like I loved you and from what I hear this is like this if you love the book this is the one that you love the bass I think because a lot of garlic locks the box so much to that she put so much into how she wrote it how she corrected and how she passed it to make you know a contemporary audience fall in love with the characters that you know which are surrounding into **** but then also asked that loves classic and want to see the old three oh four H. and then you know characters like eighty or you know I think it's Amy batch you don't really like in the books you know going back and forth you place her cell while they go like oh no like I guess you are and I understand why you make these choices actually like your character not even more because you're a little feisty but you just want to be accepted lockdown I love all forms the next yeah awesome how many tickets subs for this one so for now by the party hello and thank you a couple of times now and I just kind of all of it each time I watch it and it should maybe got a young daughter home or somebody one each to the characters it's a great person after store I love this I this I might have a little date night with my daughter so call up your let me know how I well Paul you know you've given us some great things to think about watching this weekend it sounds like you've watched them yourself what are you gonna actually being watching at your home this weekend okay what have you mentioned it earlier we've got the sunshine ninetieth birthday celebration on YouTube seventy nine I mean Stephen Sondheim's music it's life changing incredible icing on them I just need to get a major college style his music is incredible like we've seen multiple shows appear on stage we sunk multiple number so I'm just looking for teaching all of these singers and actors just performance his music and see what it's like yeah absolutely it does I mean seriously yeah if you even if you don't know your way around Sondheim even if you are just like enamored by a celebrity the names that are involved in this are like mind blowing and if you have time to go to YouTube and look up data date content eightieth birthday special on PBS I mean ten years gone out despite crazy to me you can see a lot of us form and we watch them all the time because somebody up it of course but if they're just incredible trip down memory lane for the shows these iconic performances and so many of these original cast but we'll come back and mixing the songs it is truly phenomenal what's your favorite Sondheim show the White House what did you think of Disney remake I was actually pretty well done given how dark the show is in and then try to cater towards I'd give me audience now Johnny got but I thought like yeah thank you so much for telling us what they got to this weekend we'll talk to you again next week all right the only the guy Grimes from Paul's trip to the movies follow him on all the social media platforms and he'll tell you what's good when it comes to what you should be watching we come back on the Colleen Bradley show we've got some dumb people doing dumb things we call him crazy stupid idiots are going to tell you all about him after this am I talking to seven one my top one of seven one everything can you help us with this the look not only at the level will get entertainment nothing but good times getting up with Jason and Alexis lex and I were doing a special broadcast in the early days of our original show twelve years ago we were live at the Metrodome and Disney Pixar was doing a promotion where they sent Alexis off to the roof of the Metrodome in an op style balloons that she's not strapped in at all well actually let your stress I found another closer picture you are you do have a strap on you know what I did last night RT girl do not hello.

"Hello, Mr. and MRs America and all those ships at sea. Mike O palca city in for my friend joepags on this. Good friday. Hope you're hidden into a great weekend. Hope you're going to spend it with friends and family on Easter. Or maybe you're going to pass over Seder because eastern Passover kind of running into each other this year. Maybe we should just call the weekend east over sure why not. Anyway, we're we're taking your nominations for the best Easter movies ever. And we've had a lot of nominations a lot of votes for things. Like, Ben her passion of the Christ one vote for the greatest story ever told which by the way, I remember that one Charlton Heston had a head a role in that one to Charlton Heston played I think he played Kaya effects, the high priest KYW of that one if memory serves, and I gotta go back and remember who Jesus was because that's got to be a daunting task to get cast is, geez. That's. Just amazing stuff. So vote for years, the greatest story ever told getting some votes. Let's see I think of maximum sido. That's who it was eventually the synapses fire up, and you remember who is in the movies before we went away we were talking about Norman or Jimmy Kimmel teaming up to reboot for one day in one day only on ABC all in the family and the jeffersons. And we watched on the family as a family, and you can put it on TV today. You couldn't put Sanford and son on TV today. Fred Sanford used to use the N word all the time you'd have to severely change those TV shows from the seventies that were massive hits because the political correctness that is swarming our country right now. So I wonder what Norman Lear is going to do. I wonder I wonder if they're going to bring back the original opening to remember, it is what sounded like from television.

"Eight seven seven zero see the AL. I so we got lots to talk about. But I learned something the last few days, very interesting. So I got to MC and event I love 'em scene and event I think MC is masters of ceremony. Then I guess if you're a woman your mistress of ceremony, I don't actually mind the term mistress like others do not that I've ever been a mistress. But I just think Mr. sounds sexy rather than MRs of ceremony. He goes MRs of ceremony. You know, what that reminds me of remember, you would have the Miss America pageant, and then they did the MRs America pageant. Remember, the MRs America pageant the women. Looked a lot older and heavier and. You know, it was it was like night and day. I don't think the MRs America pageant really went very far. I don't think the guys are really into it. I guys are really into girls that haven't had baby body baby. The reason why is in the. Evolutionary in a way of thinking in the animal kingdom days if a woman's already had a baby. And she's already somebody else's. She kind of becomes unattractive to other mates. I my face changed. My body changed everything changed. And so I was really really attractive before I got married and had a bait. And everybody says well, the women let themselves go it's not that the women let themselves go. It's that nature purposely makes them repulsive, not you guys. But me, so that no other mate will try to steal your way from the little young lanes that you're supposed to, you know, take care of and the debt or the cave or whatever. So that's why the MRs America pageant is didn't really seem to take off because they just weren't as attractive to people look at the Miss America. Pageant Miss America, pageant, pessimistic, think going away think a lot of people don't think it's only politically correct. You know? Yeah. But so I was at the charity gala and great one was TVS golden. It was amazing. It was. But I noticed that. The Jews even though they say that the Jews of the chosen people. And I'm know biblical scholar. You guys pick. I am. But I I think I figured out why it doesn't have anything to do with birthright or anything like that. No, no. I think it's because of the language Yiddish provides this kind of protective coat where you could call somebody some real bad things. But it's it's. You don't get in trouble. Now, I just want to article on this the more majority of you guys have spoken yet. I think every one of you have spoken yet. You don't have to be Jewish is. Because you have one has any of you said the word glitch. Yeah. This computer has the little glitch. Glitch is a Yiddish word. Glitch. Means a little malfunction. Have any of you ever center? I'm a klutz. That's Yiddish have any of you ordered a blitz or Bach or a bagel and lox I'll have a bagel and lox those terms, and then have you ever nudged someone quick? Nudging? Comes from nudge. Yiddish have you called slop? That's yiddish. Remember the beat Knicks? Adding, Nick, Nick, Nick like beat Nick Nick is a somebody aligned with a movement. You guys have been saying this all the time. It's not just about. So anyway, really quickly here Yiddish, I guess came has like rubes dating back to twelve fifty. And that's when you start to migrate. From more of the Middle East Palestine other areas of the world to the German Rhine valley and then to central and eastern Europe. And what Yiddish is like a mixture of languages between. Hebrew, German Aramaic, Slavic romance languages. It's mix. And I guess back then hundreds of years ago. It was the regular day to day language. They like I thought you spoke Hebrew Hebrew was the, you know, the language of prayer Aramaic was the language of learning. She would prey in Hebrew. You. Would learn an Aramaic. But yet issue was your common day to day language, like, okay? Fish. You know, when I tell you know, the dog go go pitch. And then it became really really popular were millions. I think thirteen million people were speaking it by the early nineteen hundreds. And then by pre holocaust time. Millions more spoke it, unfortunately after the holocaust it's used use dropped drastically. And for obvious reasons, you know, people if it was identified as the Jewish language nobody was going to speak. Everybody's gonna you know. And of course, we lost millions of people lost millions of Christians and Jews. And so, but the funny thing is there's a lot of words phrases have been adopted in our regular vernacular. And you know, somebody will say here's somebody call somebody a putz that's a very bad word. That's worse than calling somebody schmuck? Those are really really bad words. You can't see those people use them all the time. Yeah. Yeah. This was some guy like, nah, okay? And I'm noticing a lot of people are kind of using the wrong. But I remember Al Michaels who I believe grew up in Brooklyn was during Saturday's Saturday football game. You know, said how player felonies tuchus that's yet is. So we speak Yiddish a lot. But I I was blown away by scene where it's like glitch. You know, and slob I these are things we use. So that's just a this eleven this'll just like a little small amount. So I have a full comprehensive list if you guys wanted know. Okay. And did a article on this. But the funny thing is is a lot of you guys will say, okay. Well, let's schmooze. Okay. Nick, somebody kind of these words have so much rich meaning to schmooze put an English. It's just kinda, you know, make people like you make people feel comfortable to Schimmel somewhat. It has.

"Federal felon? Okay. So what am I doing? I'm spending an inordinate amount of time trying to convince the court that, you know, this is a really big deal and the ATS got it all wrong. It's purely a political response. I mean Trump I mean voted for him. I can't stand this decision. I think it's wrong. I don't think the agency has the story after they've been doing one thing the same way for, you know, ten years like they say it's been like fifteen years they've been doing anything over and over, and then all of a sudden one crime, and we don't even know that bump stocks were used and people say, that's crazy talk. I've heard the audio. No. Yeah. You've heard the audio. But no ACS the ATF is not done technical examinations on the right? "Then. People that it was the snarky. Thick and you know, and I'm and I'm thinking, okay. Well, I'm still in as much as person I'm doing this. I'm doing that. I'm going to him doing this. And I'm seeing everybody else get written about, and I'm going, you know, sell natural mister cellophane. And I'm thinking like like what's going on? Why you know? And I felt completely ignored not just not just disliked. But but in indifference from the business in spite of all that I was selling. And so, you know, so it was it was it was kind of like fresh out of high school St. back to de back to a feeling of that. There isn't wasn't a lunch table for me. And it was hard. It made it it made me, you know, sad. No. But I think it gave me and people sometimes wonder about like, oh, well, he got discovered by David foster you had this door. Swung open for you. You know, you didn't have to play sticky clubs to get to where you are. But I will say that there there was there was a huge amount of self doubt, depression, feeling of not belonging wanting to quit that nobody within that. I mean, I was going out on stage. Now is just wonder pinned singing these these beautiful ballads and people were just going. Well, isn't that just my goodness? You know, what a guy what look at this kid, and I'm going. Well, thank you very much. Mr. MRs America and funny, and yeah, we know whole thing. Oh, man. And totally not feeling like, you're excel and half the time. It wasn't a mask and the the other half the time. I was just dying on the inside. How did you? What did you find what inter resources? Did you find or external resources to? I try to recognize that. And then begin fixing it. I know he's a lifelong pursuit to fix it. It is but to begin fixed to begin fixing. I mean, yes to the lifelong pursuit aspect of that some of it just is time some of it is just still here. Like, you're okay. Like like, it the boogeyman mentality that the Mike is just going to go away or that that you're just one second away from from a not not happening now if I had really psyched myself out, and if I had. You know, if I had had gone way off base, then that might have been true. You know, I I had good guidance. I had great parents. I've been so lucky that has sounding board with my family. I've I've been lucky to have had pretty much great management my whole career good guidance. We sometimes disagreed if sometimes swish managers, but but switched excellent managers across the board. And you know, and and I think at that time the thing that got me out of my shell was. A couple of things one starting to write was very very important for me because it gave me an outlet that was different than just presenting a song as vocalist. I think being given the opportunity to collaborate in a room with other people, and and share my own ideas. But do it in a way that my fans would also be excited about an except was really cathartic. I would say writing is is an important thing for for anybody to do even if they're not going to share it publicly. Just just right just note that just right just get it out because that that wound up being very very therapeutic for me sitting at the piano and writing just melodic not even words lyrics or the hard part for me was is very very therapeut-. Just composed make things I think that enough in a time when I was feeling very out of control where I was getting a lot of songs given to me. Somebody was saying, hey, we want to hear you saying this my God, you gotta sing this. I was delighted that I was so wanted, but I, but I felt like I needed more of myself in those things, and that total sense. And now as an adult. I can go back to those older songs and revisit them. And now have experienced those things as as a nineteen year old kid singing about loss. Yes. And being on this pedestals, romantic pedestal. I didn't had a girlfriend I in highschool once like like, I didn't have the experiences. If you have made the decision to really get yourself together after the new year and save a.
