"Proof of vaccination. Some media show a negative covid testing. Some have no rules, all in Jacksonville. If you have covid hot dogs are half price. That's how they 8 37. It's Brandon Boxer. Good to have you back with us, By the way, How states? Unfortunately, there's one player that's going to be out for the rest of the season. Matt McCoy has more and that. Also, Ohio State officials are working on the digital ticket problem issue. They say it should be fixed before the Tulsa game. On Saturday on the Legacy retirement group. Jack Ham phone line. We welcome back, Mr Ron Wilson, host of in the Garden Every Saturday, Right here on news radio, 6 10 W. T. V. And How you doing, Ron? I'm great Half price. Hot dogs I'm in. Yes, sir. Why not right? Kind of like the the Diver Dog night at the Clippers Games. So I want to get to these army warms because they have. This is unprecedented. What's going on right now? With this outbreak? We've seen this for weeks. First and foremost. Where the hell did these words come from? Is it is this from Ida? Is this what I'm hearing? What's interesting is we have a native armyworm. You don't see outbreaks like this at all. But there is one that's native here. But these actually came up from the south from the southern part of the Southern states. Where they deal with them all summer long. It's no big deal for them, but what they do is the adults can actually get up in the jet stream and fly along. They could do 500,000 miles and then come back down. And of course, that's what they did. And they hit all of the Midwest. We're actually seeing outbreaks in the Nebraska the stayed up North Maryland. I mean, they really hit the Midwest Big time. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Ron Wilson, are you trying to tell me that these armyworms almost like from the movie Sharknado except instead of sharks and tornadoes? There were armyworms. Yes. This is you and I look close. I think a couple of them said Roll tide on him. Oh, don't you dare! Don't you dare! So how do we destroy these idiots? It's a good you know, if you still have them first of all, check to make sure if you're launching, you know you've got you know, you see the dead obviously go out and check whether you still have them they may have already put painted into an adult. Which is a pretty good sized little mark. About an inch and a half wingspan. Kind of a great ground. If they've already done that, then the damage is done. And they're finished. Um so you now the point. The thing is to remember, they don't kill the crowns of your grass. They only ate the grass blades. So it's important to keep that those crowns alive by keeping it watered. You can go ahead. Do your fault. Feeding, uh, takes about 10 days to two weeks in the grass starts to recover, so they don't kill it out. Totally. They just killed the grass. That's there. So if you don't have them good. You're good to go. Keep them. Keep them where you're going. If you do have them Gaddafi Welcome Dependent Gardens There will show you several products could be used to kill them and then same thing, keep the moisture going and watch the law and recover. So Ron Wilson is with his host of in the Garden every Saturday with this on NewsRadio, 6 10 W. T v. N Ron, What's the first sign that you might have them? Is it the brown patchy? Patching this in your lawn, is it? What are we looking for? Well, if you really look at first, you've got them off that flies in the female that comes in and lazy egg kickers. You can have one female land in your yard. One female, and she'll lay a patch of a eggs that have 500 to 750 eight's in that past. Oh, my God. When they hatch out, they just go. And they're eating machines. As a matter of fact, when they run out of food. They've been known to turn on each other. Seriously. Start eating each other. So they're feeding machines. Cannibals? Yeah, the kicker is they start out very, very small, so you don't see them. And they're feeding away and feeding away, but they keep Getting larger and larger and larger. The next thing you know they are true eating machines and literally within a two day period, the longest, totally turned brown. I had folks and said, we were gone for the weekend came home Sunday night. Got up Monday morning, when on the deck, you have some coffee and our entire backyard was brown. What the heck happened, and that's you know, it's been happening over several weeks. But it's that final two or three days when they get pretty good size, that they just wipe it out. All right. I've also read that once we get our first frost, it'll kill all of them. Well, not to worry about it anymore. Is that right?.

"Elissa miller is the bankruptcy trustee that was appointed by the courts in the federal bankruptcy to handle the things related to girardi. Kice the law firm. Although it's a sole proprietorship in just tom for some reason they picked to bankruptcy trustees. So there's a trustee for tom's personal state and his name is mr ron and there is special counsel for that and that's acts law firm the firm. That represents the roma's so they're also special counsel for this as well. And then you have elissa miller and then ronald richards was hired by eliza as special counsel so so who was the mean lady. When i picked up my coat rack that had trustee honor shirt that said we couldn't film that would probably be similar. Yeah yes the mainly just heard associated would have trustee on. I don't see how they would have that stickers trustee on yeah interesting okay so so let's play. You know fun. Devil's advocate that they collect twenty five million from erica. I guess what from some place on the cayman islands that she stashed money because she's really good at money but okay well. Let's pretend and so then they collected. Because that's that's the part. I don't see happening but let's say they do okay. Well forty to forty five percent of that depending on when they collect. It goes ronald richards. Five percent plus her hourly fees go to listen more than the irs and then the legal lenders have twenty million in loans. Where how will that help the victims. I mean i guess someone could say well it'll take away at like maybe ten million off the twenty eight million but to be on the internet saying like i speak for victims and i'm going after this to get money for the victims. No because half of it's gonna go to lawyers and then the other go to lawyers. Tom friend fronts. Tom owned legal. Lending companies right. What people don't realize is that these legal lending companies loan tom millions of dollars when it no longer made any sense to somebody money. I mean we wouldn't have been able to borrow twenty bucks from a family member at this point and they're still loaning millions but they are sophisticated because they're filing what's called a ucse filing with the state of california saying like hey. He said that if he doesn't pay we get his house. We get this. We get that but they he had promised the same things for all these different loans. The same assets were promised over and over again. Now let's say you come to me and you wanna borrow million bucks. Why wouldn't i look at the other. Ucse filings from when you borrowed and go look. They've already said that. This company this company. This company all already used his house in his office building. And whatever other asset to secure the last five million dollar loan. And now you're doing it again. So it's these companies seem kind of unscrupulous in you know like you couldn't get a payday loan like that. You couldn't use your pink slip to your car for three different payday loans right. It's kind of nuts. Yeah so. I just think the headlines are really disingenuous to some degree and it does sort of feel crappy for the victims. You know some of us have been talking amongst each other and it's like twenty five million will get it from erica secure. But how does that play out in real life and then you know in a in a typical bankruptcy system is meant to rehab the person filing bankruptcy to give them another chance. But tom committed fraud so we shouldn't be setting it up to give him another chance. So it should be just protecting the creditors not protecting the actual debtor. So one of the things. I think is interesting is that were suing erica. Claiming we're going to get all this money. But has the trustee filed a claim for each one of the people who are outta debt to ask the courts not to charge it off because of fraud. Because if we don't do that then like in most bankruptcies at some point the debts just charged. Shaw in. Tom or erica won't have to pay it so shouldn't they be doing that right now. I mean i'm just asking. Also do you think fed all the tweets that ronald puts out and even being on my show. Do you think that is part of his hourly wage. Or he doesn't get hourly wage she's only getting get the percentage of what he collects. I'm just curious. I haven't seen where he's going to be able to charge for hourly. It's my understanding that elissa miller is charged for hourly plaza. Five percent and Ronald richards is on contingency. Got it You know basis. So i don't think that he's able to charge for like tweeting per se But i mean the thing that makes the tweeting just obnoxious is that you know. It's it's gotten to the point where we used to be sitting around going erica. such a. she doesn't care about anybody who got screwed over. you know. we're just all blown away her behavior whether she knew now our new then or whatever. She knew her behavior about what's going on. It's just always been kind of atrocious. And now we're not really sure who's more annoying. Erica or ronald richards is kind of a tossup. Well yeah what do you think though. I do find this interesting. What do you think about is he at this assisted living or not okay so the assisted living thing. I mean for me. I heard through the grapevine from blonde inside that he was going to be put into assisted living about a week in week and a half ago so it was a couple of days before we saw this. Come out in the press in those in those enormous pants right and the giant pants and cork the tan pants with the black shoes and the little sweater. What our bill cosby sweater. Which is kind of weird but yeah so so we see that by the way i took it is that they were going to look at it and for him to pick a room or something. I didn't take that. He was checking in. Oh so. I'm not sure that that's what you heard. This is right that it's a rooms being selected the arrangements or byan made. He's literally moved in and isn't coming back out. Yeah and also because we don't know if he's actually left the premises of the pasadena mansion right. Yeah and i. And i and i heard somebody say like They're not accepting packages or whatever. Do they really think they're going to have normal. Protocol girardi at the old folks home with all this attention. You just send him a package with the bomb. They're just gonna go like well. Of course he's here. We we have to play by the rules and emit. He's here they don't. They don't accept packages for him. That doesn't even make sense to act like that's evidence of yeah whatever. Nobody said that he was there. Like paparazzi assumed. What happens when you assume the other thing that has come out in. The last couple of weeks is her story on the housewives about the car accident. And you know we you know people were like well turns out. There was no record. Reporters found that there was no record of this car accident. Big deal. But i was like well if i was buzzed. And i had a reputation and i was aging and i am my stepson. Was a cop. And he's at home. Why would i call the cops and son cop can just wander over. It involves no other car right age so close to my house literally practically on the property itself. Why would you ever call the police. So an attorney..

I mean even to this day you guys impact has been Phenomenal on the professional wrestling industry. And what's fascinating to me. Is you really made. Not just living but Dozens of guys came through this territory and cut their teeth and made not just their living but their legacies and it happened in for lack of a better word. I rather economically depressed area. You know this wasn't new york city. This is florida and tennessee and alabama. And you were doing something that these days is almost unheard of you. Weren't you know coming to a major market three or four times a year. You're going to be back in these same towns every seven days or so and you had to find a creative way to sell those same folks tickets over and over and over and that meant you had to get pretty creative which is why some of the more creative concepts and wrestling were born out of this area. Would that be fair to say. Yeah i think that's a that that is fair. Say conrad Yeah We we had to be very creative. You're right about that and we did We ended do a whole lot of people tend to wrestling trained. A lot of guys gave guys that. Were just getting in like on an opportunity and You know hulk hogan Honky man Brutus the barber Somebody unbelievable i many david chokes Just the arn real right up there on top men probably Fifteen twenty of the the great stars and in the history of the sport Came from our areas either south eastern resting out of knoxville or south eastern out of pensacola continental wrestling later on The furnace Lived you know just to. Oh bussey not for part two of our breakdown of the twenty twenty one. Nba play-offs up. I you know we'd like to start here on the ball and podcast with omar's overture. So let's kick this bad boy all so yes sir. The nba playoffs are in full swing. And we've had some really good games but we've also had a lot of blow out so i've been enjoying it but anyways before we get back into this playoff breakdown episode with that boy ron obasi wanna shout out some of the postseason winners thus far. So first off. Shot out to steph the chef right steph curry. He won the scoring title beating bradley beal. He's also going to be the first player to shine to two hundred million dollar contracts. There's only three other two hundred million dollars players in the nba. James harden russell westbrook and giannis antetokounmpo. Damn i pronounced that good with some flair right. It was like i use my spanish accent rolling instead of rolling to ours and it was like rolling the article anyway. Sorry yes so. He will be the first player steph to ever sign to two hundred million contract so you bought the bag for a second time anyway after. His current deal ends twenty twenty two season putting forty five plus meal in his pocket. It will bring his total career earnings to more than two hundred and fifty four million but no matter if he signs with the warriors or somewhere else which i'm sure is going to resign with the warriors. Right lifetime player kind of thing. He is always giving back to the community so shout out to that do for his philanthropic efforts he definitely just made a seven figure donation to the howard. University's men's golf team. That was awesome. And that's just one of the things he does right. He does so many things so shout out to him and his family and his sc thirty company moving on shoutout to monty williams for winning the coach of the year. I incorrectly predicted tom. Timoteo so go ahead and insert in the loser sound here but congrat- to monty williams amazing job. I hadn't chose him because the sons were already good in the bubble last year. But i understand why so a prop more props to you and our combat sports insider clubs phoenix suns fan. So i know he's he was happy not probably not after last game. Looks like lakers. We'll see we're going into game four. Also speaking of tom. Typical shout out to his player. Knicks julius randle was named the most improved player. Averaging twenty four. Ten and six assists and jordan clarkson who won the sixth man of the year. Both those called here by yours truly and our nba insider run bosley on the ball and buds podcast. Where you get your accurate predictions first and foremost always come here boy. What else is going on in the playoffs. Well i know we said that. The league's better. When new york is better and they had showed it the first two games at the garden they were going crazy. The atmosphere was wild. I'm not even a knicks fan. But i was getting goosebumps but may come on now. Then y'all ruin it all by spitting on trae young man and i know it's just one but still i'm just saying man you suck it asked fans we gotta be better and i'm gonna talk about this on a future podcast episode. I'm not going to get into it right now because this is going to be a nice fun lighthearted episode but man we gotta stop that bs for thrill anyways. What else is happening. ba- clippers. Could they be choking again. It looks like it. Dallas has been putting it to them so far. You know tie lou love him. He was with us in boston. Think he's a good coach. But is he that. Costa can put you over the top and win a championship. I don't know. I guess we're gonna find out but not looking good this year. I'm rooting for him to actually pick the clippers to win this year. So now i'm looking like a chump but yesterday still got game to turn it around. So let's see what happens. But they regressed defensively which is what they really kind of. Lean on. They're going to need hawaiian. Paul george step up offensively if they're going to do anything. 'cause lugo is killing the game right now. Son had a thirty one point. Triple double in game one and then came back in game two and followed it up with thirty nine seven and seven come on now. Dudes a beast. What else chris. Paul is hurt. Jeez so that hurts. Dion sons right. I don't think they're going to be able to do it with that. And chris paul has had a long storied history of injuries. Unfortunately i would love for him to go and win a title. He's an eleven time all star two time olympic gold medalist obviously a future first ballot hall of famer. He deserves a chip or at least a try. You've been chasing him for thirteen years. He says he says we'll. I win a championship before i die absolutely. There's no question about it. Well i hope he's with the sons when he does it from a boy dion. What else the bucks. Beat the brakes off of your miami heat. Mr ron obasi just went up three ot today. Y'all were up by twelve and they just came back. It was ridiculous. Y'all in my celtics. We'll both be going home. My celtics pulled out a wonderful game. Three victory i called it here on the ball and buds podcast as well. When i said that tatum would have to go off for fifty and they would win one at home. Well that was done. Do we win another. Maybe maybe not you know. I didn't predict it but i could see. Maybe we went in the next one but either way we're both going home and nah without be. Hey insider ron obasi is back for part. Two in this episode is brought to you by the strings. Blue dream lemon. Cain oh gee and some honey bun cookies and let me tell you honey bun cookies. Joy like a stir chill smoke a little bit. Feel nice talking. Mba so making up up questions on that first points per game race louisville. Busta we got beal is at thirty one point. Four while steph. Curry is at thirty one. Point nine so we have one of the closest races in scoring title history. It is gonna be exciting down to the last breath but steph has been in a very high clips. So i predict he will win up there. We want. This is the kobe brian. I'm not a big. you'll be. he'll the makes you for that. But he coulda and so how. How do we feel about our boy. Brody the new triple double shot out to grow..

"The firearms industry, The products and politics that affect your hobby and delivered. This program may not be politically correct. But it is on target. Now, you host Eric Guilbert. Welcome back to on Target. I'm hysteric joined today. The LAPD studios. I have my father co owner of films he says to my left big ad is to my right. You were just yelling at me. I didn't hear what I said You're banking and ruckus over there goes out over the air. Emily, will you tell him that on purpose? Okay, but I do it to help you up. Really? Eric, Are you ever gonna show your pink gun? Well, I'll tell you what, on the break here. My lovely wife came up with her Rose gold gun that she just okay what It is Juicy, Beautiful really is taste. All right, Don. You're beautiful, right school, You're gonna force me to break out into a rhyme for Valentine's Day. Here we go. Roses are red violets are blue. If you gave me a pink gun, I give it back to you. All right. Did you just come up with that? You know, I've been rehearsing that. Okay, but if you're out there, I'll tell you what this is. Yes, and the audience does not damage your balance. I give you a heck of a deal on a trade. What's got at least a dozen roses on there. That should count for something it it really is gorgeous. It is a Glock special run that's called Glock and Roses, I think has all kinds of etching with roses on it, and it was. It's well suited for Laurie obviously done is in the garden all the time. So, guys, what You know, as a Phil, get this. Listen, listen to these These numbers and this is kind of sickening, But now we want to go through him as a February 10th of this year our city has witnessed 197 Felonious assault. That's nearly five a day in comparison to 2020. Well, we didn't hit Get this. We didn't hit the 200 mark in tow April 3rd of last year and we've already hit it now in February, 10th On this rate we're going this year we're going to see over Probably over 450 Felonious assault by April 3rd of this year more than doubled last year, So it kind of gives you what's going on out there. Listen to this. Tell the people Eric. What? Influence assault. It's well, you know what? What do you wanna know what I would say? It's Polonius Assault is an assault. We're serious. Serious physical harm is inflicted on the victim or harm is inflicted by means of a deadly weapon. And I forgot. Okay. All bad. And so it's a second degree felony punishable by imprisonment Update years in prison. We're talking about serious, serious, serious, violent crimes. Serious violent crime in that voice. That voice you heard, and I didn't get quite around to introducing them. So you Mr Ron O'Brien sitting right here with us. We're so happy to have you. Thank you. So so happy. So, in keeping with that thinking, February 10th of this year we've already had 26 murders in Columbus, 26 murders and Columbus as an average of 260.63 per day in comparison to 2020. We didn't listen to this. We didn't hit 26 homicides last year until March, 21st Wow! Okay, so we're on track. Now We're on track for 231 for the year, which will blow by last year's record number. You said 2310.63 you met 6.3 Point 63 per day. I'm pretty 630.63 homicides per different homicides per day in that incredible So we're gonna we're on track to blow by last year's record. Breaking number this week. Shannon Harden City Council president did something Thursday that simply defies logic theme. The career politician introduced a budget amendment. Divert 2.5 million that was set aside to pay 45 new police recruits in June. Have fun what he calls alternative crisis response. Hmm like social workers and so forth, adding his notion here was adding more officers won't solve the current problem. Mr Harden, I beg to differ. You, Mr Klein, Ginther and the rest have driven the time crime rates. To unprecedented numbers in Columbus because of your policies. It is true if the facts and now the good people of Columbus we're paying the price. We're paying the price having to worry about ourselves and our families. No matter where you go in gonna have social workers take the place of police officer. It must be it. My gestations are gas station pumpers. Whether that's uh and this is not a law enforcement problem. This is a problem. With the politicians and the rising crime without making it. It's way too areas we're not used to seeing. I just read this week about some possible abductions or attempted deductions in some suburbs and Columbus that never see this sort of thing. So this isn't this isn't you know, just in the crime in the areas where you traditionally have heard crimes in Columbus. This is making its way. Everyone personajes in car thefts are out of control. These roving gangs of kids, kids, kids, guns are holding people up taking their cars, and it's happening everywhere if you conceal carry holder, though, You need to seriously think about your responsibilities in today's environment, and that's what our discussion today is about. And that's why we invited Ron here and all of us around the table. And, you know, I think sometimes we look at how societies treating law enforcement officers, but we failed to realize these same logical attacks on law enforcement. Is going to apply to the armed citizen as well. If something were to happen, absolutely. So So tell you we went to go through and start thinking about what would you do with the concealed carry holder if you face some of these, these criminals out there in public, but it's good to think about this long before it happens. That's what we do in law enforcement. You run through these scenarios, and you hope that you never run across them. But if you do You will have thought through your mind..

So tune in for that. And then I will be assisting Jon Katz Materials on his show from 5 to 6. Lovely. Thank you. And the story I have to bring up to you guys. I actually read this yesterday there was like a little article in Elle magazine. That kind of pops up on Twitter. That Kamala Harris. She talks about like an experience that she had when she was a little girl. She says she was marching in Oakland, California, Her mom was pushing her along a stroller. She fell out of the stroller because back in the day, you don't have to be strapped in blah, blah, blah, right? And then the mom lost her went back to look for her found her. And when she doubled back, you know from little Kamala was understandably upset. And so, she says, My mother tells a story about how I'm fussing, Harris says. And she's like baby. What do you want? What you need? And I just looked up at her and I said freedom because, you know, she's a little girl. How old was she? When she doesn't say how old she was that she fell from the stroller, so she must have been like a toddler, I guess, 2 to 3 years old, My daughter's three She walks everywhere. She's not even so I would change about 2 to 3 to 23. And then I'm like this kind of sounds familiar to me. And then I'm looking at Twitter and then finally, this guy pops it up on Twitter, and it's true when you look more into it. Dr Martin Luther King in an interview with Playboy magazine, because, you know they do news to back then. Well back in the day Yes, 1965 interview and he tells a very Similar anecdote where he says that he will never forget a moment in Birmingham, Alabama, when a white policeman accosted a little Negro girl seven or eight years old, who was walking in a demonstration with her mother. What do you want? The policeman asked her roughly in the little girl looked him straight in the eye and answered, feed him. She couldn't even pronounce it, but she knew what it was beautiful. They do not match up. Greg, Let's talk about Washington. You know, they got four first round picks on that d line. Chase. Young gets all the headlines, but I'm a huge Montez sweat fan. This is a team that That bullet is less than you know, 30% of the time. And yet they're third in the league with sacks. They got 36 12 games. What is their D line? Look like to you Who's the guy that's getting doubled most often. Well, it's a really good deal lined. I mean, the guy you didn't mention who I think is outstanding, Mr Ron pain and then we haven't even mentioned Jonathan Allen, who's a really good player, too. So they're They're very, very difficulty. It, uh to play against because each guy can win individually, So you know, you have to decide how you want to protect, you know, um When they line up. You know if they're gonna line up in their sub package, where you pretty much line up with Ah, pain and Alan over guards and then sweat and young outside, then you simply have to decide who's the center going to slide, too? And that can be be any number. You know that's based on a plate call, so you have to decide that you know, pain is also really good running stunts as the Looper where the end is actually the picker and he goes first. Contain loops around pain for a guy with that body type is really flexible, so they pose a lot of problems. Now. They didn't sack been Rafa's burger because Ben Roethlisberger just gets rid of the ball so quickly, but They've added some blitz packages over the last month or so that have been really effective. And you know, you know me. I watched the tape. So when I say something I'm not trying to be bolder, controversial. But since Landon Collins went out with the Achilles for the season, they've been playing number 31 Cameron curl at that safety at strong safety. Yeah, I think you'd really better than lay down. You know, he jumped out really in in the Thanksgiving Day game he was, I think over the place. I think he's played better than Landon Collins, and I think he's given them more versatility and flexibility of the strong safety position. Great work. They're from Greg Cosell, Adam Copeland, former Superball champion Dennis Brown and John Warren will be talking more about the football team from Washington. That game kicks off right here on KNBR 145. And 6 80 at 1 25 from Glendale, Arizona. Plenty more coming up can be are one of 45 and 6 80 year listening to the sports leader after the week month.

Here in Los Angeles County authorities have received 25 new complaints of sexual misconduct against Rod Jeremy this week. Including 13 that may have taken place in Southern California. Well, arguing over a motion to reduce bail for the adult film star who was charged Tuesday was sexually assaulting four women in West Hollywood. The deputy district attorney disclosed the new complaints in a downtown courtroom. He said It's certainly possible the new claims could lead to additional charges and noted that the claims range from groping too overt acts of sexual violence. The allegations were all received by law enforcement officials. After news broke that Jeremy was being prosecuted. This is a story that I never fully understood. You hear the name? Rod Jeremy. And you know that he is one of the most prolific adult film actors in the world. And your mind just kind of fills in the gaps As to what this Ron Jeremy character must look like. Well, I was on a flight one time I was going from Burbank to Sacramento on Southwest. And it was one of these things where I was supposed to fly out the night before, but the flight canceled and I got bumped to a flight the next day. So I was tired. I spent the entire day yesterday or the day before at the airport. So I'm there. And I see this dumpy looking troll wherein old sweatpants. That didn't fit him correctly and a T shirt with stains all over it and a huge gut sitting in the terminal. And I didn't think anything of it because he looked like Oswald Cobblepot, who was the penguin before he became the penguin. Think of a really trashy Danny DeVito. And I didn't make any note of it outside of the fact that this guy just look like a slob who was getting ready to get on my flight. And then they had to page someone at the gate because someone got an upgrade, or someone had something that required them to speak to the gate agent. I don't know. Mr Ron. Jeremy, please approach the gate. Mr. Ron. Jeremy, please approach the gate. And I said to myself, this is Ron Jeremy. This. Dumpy looking man is making a living with greasy hair that's balding on top and Goes down into the small of his back. This guy is the prolific porno actor Ron Jeremy. Indeed, it wass. I was on a flight with Ron Jeremy. One time. I don't know why I was going to Sacramento. We talked like your first regular the issue of amazing amazing to fifty one. That seemed like a really fun issue. Probably the draw for your first regular issue because it was like mostly like an all action issue. Yeah actually. That's that's very insightful. That that wasn't true that you got to come in Junior to do all the setup and basically the big final fight it was I heard I've heard this online son again. I don't know if it's true. Who but when Roger Stern left the book did did Tom Ask him? You know Mr Tom Felker did he ask him who he had in mind for the HOB Goblin get okay. Okay and Tom immediately did indeed ask him. And Was told that it that it was Oh help me. I'm an old man that Roderick Kingsley Roderick Kingsley and you know and it's Tom didn't completely understand what the subtleties. Lt Of what Roger was going for although I not surprisingly have to as much as I love Roger I have to side with common this Rogers Rogers point is that the the the the Kingsley's are not twins. ooh that they just are. They look enough alike that they could fool people. But they're not they're not literally twins and that I just find that really hard to believe And he would have spent more time Building the mystery and doing more scenes like the ones he did see but by the time he was leaving the title and there was no real Crisis or conspiracy that had roger leaving the title And the fact that he and Danny Finger is Had worked together before and yell. Roger just didn't feel that there is at the daily figueras editing style and Rogers writing style. You know dovetail really well. He just felt that he would be driving. Danny crazy and vice versa. It was a good time with JR leaving it was a good time for him to be leaving He has flattered me by saying that if he had known that I was going to be the choice for pencil or he might be around long enough to wrap up the Goblin stuff boot that either. That's just in being very nice but anyway he made the decision to leave the title. It was his decision decision to make he made it So Danny's first duty as editor was to find a new Finally writer and And he tapped time onto do it though. Of course Thomas I two issues were Scripted over Rogers Plots So what. What was the question? Oh yes and Tom did indeed ask him. Who is the HOBGOBLINS? and Rogers Answer. Being a professional professional writer was while I was playing making it Roderick Kingsley's brother but you can make it whoever you want. 'cause you're the new writer and The one point. I asked Tom so it was Roger Planning on making it and Tom kind of cavalierly said it's going to be Roderick was going to be Roderick Kingsley's evil twin which you know and and Roger Denies that he would have said it that way because that's not the way he saw a tapie acknowledges that you know that the way Tom put it to me and I said is that who we are GonNa make it and he goes on. Fortunately you know. I don't think there was enough enough seated. I don't think that plays fair for the for the audience because I don't think there was enough. There were enough clues for anybody to conceivably half guest that And quite I'd quite ironically that happened with us Because the WHO wanted to make who tom wanted to make The hobgoblins wants daddy finger off had moved off the title and And and Jim Housley editor Afghan. Tom was trying to put seems set up who he wanted to be the hobgoblins who he felt had already been suggested and he wanted to do more scenes setting up the reveal so it would play fair with the with the reader and those scenes dean kept getting cut by the editor who didn't know why those scenes were in there and Tom didn't WanNa tell the editor who he was intending on making because he didn't feel that that was a good idea he figured as you people would know as possible and on and on and on and even became a very messed up their egos involved. There was no shenanigans involved. There was all kinds of ridiculousness going on the little bit of back stabbing a little bit of of ridiculousness that went on Whence Jim Ashley was running the show? actually Glenn Greenberg. WHO's an assistant editor on the hub? godless project did a really wonderful article for back issue magazine. Few Years Years back that interviewed all the principals and Basically took Jim Athlete blog He he didn't want to be interviewed you but he he was able to take Jim's blog as Jim's testimony. If you will to what was going on at the time and did a a wonderfully Complete overview of of the entire hobgoblins switch undeniably is one of turned into into over the years so once. Tom Found out who the Hong Kong was supposed to be that he lets you in from as soon as he found out apob immediately. Rogers was and we. You know I mean I'll be honest with you. I mean when we when you're running a mystery like this when you decide to start a mystery you don't always always know how the mystery going to end when we had And four we have prepared a time. We had a We set up several mysteries. There we set up the mystery of blood actually set up the mystery of. WHO's in the bag and hell user? I'd references for people. It might not read this stuff but when you set up a mystery you have an idea where you're going but you wanNA keep it fluid because if all the fans guests along the way you don't want you don't want him to be right they don't WanNa be right so you have to keep it open and fluid to possible changes in in case you know too many people get it or somebody gives it up or something happens along the way that would change the direction of your story. Oh and you have to keep it open for better ideas you know so. We talked about who we thought. It should be. Tom Decided who he thought. It should should be And he was the character that he was hoping to do. More setup with was the kingpins on Richard Fiske who had who had bender Schemer at one point That show Tom intended for hobgoblins to be in our story line which never happened He was planning on using Roderick. Kingsley as rose oh The rose was conceived as being a character that Tom was surprised. What people wondered who the Rose Wives because listen with just one of these middle management? pugs more Ask and he didn't realize that would be a question arose. Is You know they can pick. But those were his two ideas. And neither one of the maverick came to fruition. And so that's the way the Biz work. I mean when writers change when Editors Change You know storylines changed at Solar Chris to it really. I do like that better think Roderick Kingsley would have made a better rose and the are Richard Fisk when it made a better hobgoblins. Well you know that that also would have meant they'd Roderick as we did have a brother when are otherwise you know things like that which would have made some of the stuff that Roger set up Interesting because we're was deliberately doing scenes where Kingsley's personality seemed to be different. You know. Sometimes he was more cowardly.
