"And every single year I have to go chasing my inflatables down the street because of high winds. I don't know why I don't learn But I just couldn't put out inflatables. So my my girlfriend, she comes down during the break and she comes down and she says, very deadpan. San is down the street and I just face palm. I knew exactly what that meant and it Zenit's funny. Just because it's so ridiculous that every single year I've got to go chase Santa Down the street. I believe that this will be the last year for the Santa inflatable in my home now onto some serious business, Don't you know? That the cracking they're supposed to be released today. Sidney Powell was on with Lou Dobbs last night, and it does sound ready as she does sound ready to release this document or the very least what she wants to do is filed this lawsuit. Against Dominion and Dominion voting machines, its origins in Venezuela. He asked her. Okay, So what exactly are you doing in Georgia? The software was created and used in Venezuela to control the elections and make sure that Hugo Chavez was always reelected. It's a zoo, the dictator of Venezuelan what appeared to be quote free and fair elections and quote But they were manipulated by the software used in the Dominion machines and used by other machines in the United States. Frankly, and we're just continuing to be inundated by evidence of all the frauds here in every manner and means of fraud. You could possibly think of All right. So the question is what exact evidence is there? And when will she be presenting it? As far as Dominion goes, the accusation he is that their machines can be hacked or used to turn trump ballots into Biden ballots. That is the accusation. There been so many claims of ballot harvesting, double voting dead people voting no access by GOP officials to oversee the county process. A massive ballot, dumb says Suddenly, the counting stopped and started again all of these accusations. There's affidavits that they say will prove each and every one of these allegations, but the Big Kahuna. If you will a fraud in this election, it's all going to focus on these Dominion voting machines because, according to Cindy, Sidney Powell, and some of these other folks within the Trump legal team, millions of votes were cast for Donald Trump. And were flipped to Joe Biden. Now the question is, it's one thing to make the accusation. It's another thing to have proof. Well, she says that she's ready to release the crackin on Georgia. When shall we expect your lawsuit? Well, I think another later than tomorrow. It's just gonna be it's. It's a massive document today, and it's gonna have a lot of exhibits. And on who will be the defendant or defendants. The defendants are going to be folks in Georgia who are responsible for supposedly making sure the elections and Georgia are done properly. And there are just countless incidents of voter fraud and election fraud writ large in Georgia. So George is right now going through a second recount and remember she has had City Palace had her sights on Georgia for weeks now recall what she said last weekend. Going after the secretary of state and governor camp, she said. This on Newsmax George is probably going to be the first state. I'm going to blow up and Mr Camp in the secretary of state need to go with it because they're in on the Dominion's scam. What their last minute purchases Reward of a contract. The Dominion of $100 Million. The State Bureau of Investigation for Georgia ought to be looking into financial benefits received by Mr Kemp and and the secretary of state. So so these air, very serious accusations. Because basically what she's accusing the governor and the secretary of state of is getting kickbacks from some of these different cos. Now I want you to listen carefully. To the follow up question on Newsmax. And this is where you know I can't win for losing is a talk show host because I once Sidney Powell I've been watching her for for months now. I want her to go beyond the generalities of an accusation and actually bring proof evidence. So that we can all move on one way or another. She's got to do it very quickly. But I want you to listen to how she frames the follow up question from the guys at Newsmax family about that time. Another benefit Dominion up it was created to award is what I would call election insurance just to clarify. You're saying the governor camp who's been a long time ally of the president? Is directly involved because of financial benefit in the conspiracy to defeat the president in Georgia. We have certainly been told that there is evidence of that and We have certainly been told there is evidence of that. Okay, So if I'm going on television, and I am laying down these accusations You shouldn't be doing it based on what you've been told, you should be doing it based on the actual evidence that you have in hand Now, Every time I go down this road I hear from Trump supporters who say that I'm not being supportive of Donald Trump. I am a supporter of the Constitution. I'm a supporter of free and fair elections. I'm a supporter of elections that have credibility and integrity. And so for Sidney Powell if she's going to make this accusation against governor camp in the secretary of state of Georgia Then there better be some teeth behind it, and I'll be honest with you. I believe that she knows better, So I'm sure that it's more than just somebody told us But But here's more his directly involved because of financial benefit in the conspiracy to defeat the president in Georgia. We have certainly been told that there is evidence of that and would warrant investigation. If anybody were actually going to do an honest investigation, or could you tell us about that alleged conspiracy? His the governor's Can't Yeah. I can't give you any more details on that now, but it would certainly warrant an investigation or could have been reported to me as a law enforcement officer. I would be investigating it steadfastly. Alright, so apparently we're going to get some sort of crack and related lawsuit at some point today in Georgia, according to Sidney Powell, and we'll have to see what happens. I know a lot of people. Are looking forward to this document. By the way, I've got a couple of more sound bites from Sidney Powell. And what is next for her coming up Next on New Starkey 20, WB ape. It's Rick Roberts. And this is Laura Trump on what went wrong with this election. We're working really hard every day to prove that and to show the fraud out there to make sure that this isn't just.

"They've spent a total of more than four point. Four million on printing distribution advertising and administration over the past six months to the us. Did you know that. I'm assuming that a lot of countries russia included probably to the same thing. Okay all right well. Now that we've got that out of the way for you guys in case you didn't know let's read the statement and then let's let's unpack all this stuff Okay trump campaign trump campaign statement on legal team. Sydney powell is practicing law on her own. Doesn't interesting statement star was kind of weird. Sydney powell is practicing law on her own. She is not a member of the trump legal team. She is also not a lawyer for the president in his personal capacity. That's it that's all it says. that's it the rest of this is just rudy. Giuliani attorney president trump. That's it so one more time. Let's read through this. Sydney powell is practicing law on her own. She is not a member of the trump legal team. She is also not a lawyer for the president in his personal capacity. Okay so for all you lawyer people out there. let's look let's read her statement. I because she did she did respond. Which ironically something else weird is going on. During this announcement twitter has suspended her account for twelve hours interesting so she can't make public responsible. Okay yes no exactly and so. Let me find a powerful statement. Okay here we go all right pal statement hang on. I'm trying to read releases statement. Okay this is powell statement. Delivered through flynn right. Flynn post this for her well because her twitter account is suspended. Full circle i understand. Today's press release powell wrote. I will continue to press to represent hashtag. We the people who had their votes for trump and other republicans stolen by massive voter fraud through dominion and smart matic and we will be filing suit filing suit soon. The chips fall where they may and we will defend the foundations of this great republic. She continued hashtag crack in on steroids. Nice okay now. These are all really really interesting. Really really interesting statements from both a lot of people. The mainstream media spinning at trump cad trump legal team distancing themselves from sydney powell chris christie has now come out and said that trump needs to concede because legal team is a national embarrassment. The mainstream media wants you to believe that there is separation here. I say that it is all part of the plan to chess game. It's a chess game. Now i'm gonna play you. Her newsmax interview now. She did not give tucker carlson an interview. Which i have issues with tucker. Carlson did the other day. I like tucker carlson a lot. But if we're if we're really going down the conspiracy theory thing before he did the pow hit. Ps he did the statement saying that. This show is not going anywhere. In fact the network wants more of this show and we're grateful for that that's an interesting statement. Yeah disney baccio. So yeah you'll have a job. How much money they paying you to give more of the show the question but then he attacks powell because he basically says i'll give you the whole interview for my show and powell responds with no stop bothering me. Then she clarified by saying you know. I'm not presenting this evidence for ratings. This evidence will will be presented in the courtroom and then tucker kind backpedals a little bit and stuff like that but but but she does give newsmax an interview and so we're going to play the newsmax clip. It's like a two minute clip and we're gonna hear what she says and then we're going to get into further breaking this down. So here's the newsmax interview right now and each spot. but that's essentially the way it worked. Let me ask you about the state of georgia. Obviously yesterday the governor. They're he Certified the election for joe biden. It's about twenty thousand votes in our. Will georgia switch. Yeah that's a total farce of georgia's probably going to be the first state. I'm gonna blow up. Mr kemp and the secretary of state need to go with it. Because they're in on the dominion scam. What their last minute. Purchase or award of a contract at dominion of one hundred million dollars. Bureau of investigation for george ought to be looking into financial benefits received by mr camping and the secretary of state family about that tom. Another benefit was created to award is what i would call election insurance. That's why hugo chavez had it created than the first light of but also wonder where he got the technology where it actually came from. Because i think as and scorecard from the cia just to clarify. You're saying governor. Campus been a longtime ally of the president is his directly involved because of financial backstabber. Backstabber camp is we have certainly been tolls. There is evidence of that and would warrant investigation if anybody. We're actually swaying to do an honest investigation work. Could you tell us about that. Alleged conspiracy His the governor. Yeah i can't give you any more details than that now but it would certainly warrant and investigation or could it have been reported to me as a law enforcement officer i would be investigating it steadfastly. Say you wanted arguing in court. You are an attorney. You're not a press secretary but you all did have a press conference last week. Jordansekulow said that there's going to be a filing soon in georgia. That would be explosive. Can you tell us anything with us here tonight. Tell us anything new that you're gonna present in that filing in georgia. Well i can't say that yet but hopefully this week we will do. We will get it ready to file sitting what's it will it will be biblical will be biblical says okay all right so it will be biblical alright but people are wondering a lot of people were confused and i was really confused at first. I was really confused. When i first saw and i even reached out to my context. Hey what is this. What's going on blah blah blah. all right. so here's the things that you actually need to know okay when the trump says things like when the trump campaign we're gonna break down the statement line for line and we're gonna talk to you guys. About sydney powell is practicing law on her own. That makes sense. That is a very true statement. Sydney powell has her own law firm. She practiced law. She practices law specifically on her own in for her own law. Firm right she is not a member of the trump legal team. Okay she's not that's true. That is a true statement. She is not a named trump legal counsel. She is not a trump legal team member. And here's the best part. She is also not a lawyer for the president in his personal capacity. President also has personal lawyer right. Okay now what does this mean. People are wondering but but the president said in that tweet that he's looking forward to her working with them and she was at the press conference which she said This amazing clip here. Let's do this little clip. Because you just because it's awesome. And i want you to remember it. Allowed to rig their elections. This is stunning heartbreaking infuriating and the most unpatriotic acts i can even imagine for people in this country to have participated in in any way shape or form and i think american public to know right now that we will not be intimidated. American patriots are fed up with the corruption from the local level. Also talking about herself here the level of our government and we are going to take this country back..

"Quaker City Night Hawks, and that's good enough for me. So I gave you some of that. And it took us a while to find a song We liked. Jake. Wow. Wow. So the hospitality and the shot of the local band right now, right one. They're free banking, and I'm slightly offended. We're going for all right, Let's get it raises INLA. He's a Seattle guy lives in L. A in the music business in the entertainment business he's filling in for Tom. My beloved socialists, who is not here. He's sitting home on the couch because he's 85 years old. So here's we don't need to go behind enemy lines. We talked to some home or in the other city. We find out what they plan on doing, how they emotionally physically and spiritually get ready for the loss. That is about to become them on and just for you your opinion after watching what Russell Wilson has been doing to defense is, you must have thought at some point. I wonder if I can leave this city and apply for a job in Seattle to do sports. Is that true, Mr Kemp? Yeah, I've heard quite a bit about the cost of living, so I'm not sure that I could cut it there on DH find a proper gig. But look, I mean, I'm a cowboy fan, but I'm a football fan, and it's an absolute injustice that Russia doesn't have an M v. P to this point in his career. Ah lot of times. When guys get the somewhat sympathy MVP. They don't really deserve it anymore. Russ is going to get it while he still does. Still, at the top of his game, he's still in his prime. It's absolutely a crime that he hasn't won one already. I think you've got 56 years of dominant selected and so He's a bit of a dork. But at the end of the day, he's very fun Guy to watch play football and I dread it every single time the Cowboys run into it now will tell you this. That was a lot more. Ah was a lot more up for it last time. When it seemed like they were still kind of keeping him chained up a little bit, and they were running the ball a little bit, But now it seems like they've figured out as the mantra goes this year. Let Russ cooks and Cookie has done. Yeah, he's cooking trays. Any questions for a Dallas cowboy fan here? Look, Jake, I don't like you taking potshots at my quarterback, but that's OK. We're going to let the dork cook this week. I mean, you know, you guys have looked good for all of one quarter this year, so I need to know is it From a real fan. Someone who's watching is that which team is really the Cowboys the one the Latin fourth quarter last week for the last seven quarter the first seven quarters of this year? You know, I think it's going to take him a little while to get going defensively, right? I mean, anytime you change coaching staffs in the middle of a pandemic, take it probably proper to expect a little bit of a learning curve. I think their offense is there. Last week was a bit of a weird game because they put it on the carpet four times in the 1st 18 minutes of the game and lost three of them and that just sort of throws everything out of whack as far as what you can take out of it. They're going to put up points and I think they'll put up points on Seattle defense. I expected to be a really fun game. The question shootout. I would probably pick Seattle straight up if I had to. Just because they've been Dominant. I mean, when your quarterback only has two Maurin completions, and he does touchdown. Uh, that's a problem for Dallas defense. That's down a starting corner on they've already been bad defensively. Even with Cheeto starting a corner, so I would be stunned. If Seattle doesn't put up 35 on Dallas this weekend is really just a matter of whether not Dallas can keep up and then they they can enough to where I think it will be an entertaining game. How's Elliot? Has he hurt? I hope so. No, he is not heard. But honestly, I'm one of the cowboy fans think Dallas is better whenever they don't seem to feature Jerry's favorite son. The $18 million year running back. I would prefer Dallas let it rip all our what What Russian and the Seahawks are doing as juxtaposed to what they were doing earlier in his career. I think Dallas falls in love with Mieke a little bit too much at times, and one thing you will notice is that he plays with his jersey advice, Dad so you can see his belly. And he now has a tattooed on the front like a front transplant piping. He has feed me tattooed all the way across his belly. So if you haven't seen the Cowboys play, Yeah, Zeke has feed me and huge fun tattooed across his belly. So not sick, But bad now, I mean, Okay, So I have something really curious. I want to know if you may have heard some Jamal Adam's recently talked about how There was some receivers for the Dallas Cowboys, who have been sending some messages essentially saying that he can't cover them. Do you have any idea is this Michael Gallop CD Lam Amaury Cooper. Who's the guy talking trash to Jamal Adams? You know that kind of came out of nowhere, And I'm not saying I wouldn't put it past Cowboys players to be talking with, you know, write checks that they can't cash but I have a feeling that is just Jamal trying to create billboard material where it doesn't really exist. You that type of guy. He he loved the hype, and I wanted him in Dallas for a long time. He's a Dallas guy. He's got a Dallas Stars tattoo to speak of tattoos and Stanley Cup final. But ah to me that just felt like him trying to add, you know, a little gasoline to Ah to a match up and I don't really think it need to meet right. There's a big time game. It's Fox game of the week. It's too high flying offenses and, ah And it's not like I mean, like the Seahawks had been covered anybody two weeks either. You know, I don't know Jamal's check the scores, but you could throw on Seattle. I mean, I think even you guys would have been bad. Yeah, You can. Oh, no, not going to give me that is given to something. The guys come out. You're still bitter that he called Russell Wilson. A dork. I mean, come on, dude. Cowboys fans are the worst. This guy seems fairly normal. Can I just wear take take off with the word? Yes, we are. We're entitled. We're living in a Yeah. Our owner is a ghoul. I don't think we're the worst. Don't get it twisted. I'm fully cop being the word. Okay, Look, let me alone and I still think you can throw up. Okay. Jake. Jake, Did you have a Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders poster in your room? Calendar you the calendar. We need a new look. Everyone okay, flight. Alright, God, Jake ready. We do this with everybody. So just hold on. One second already asked scenario,.

"That's one thing that that Billy apple who's in his third or fourth years general manager now really when he came in and he's been working hard to try to improve that farm system. They've made some progress. The angels, you know, wherever you looking pipeline baseball America, the people that track this going into this year. The angels generally are thought to have about middle of the pack farm system. They're ranked about you know, maybe fifteen eighteen that's way up from a couple years ago they were thirtieth. So I think where they're going with trout they've improved their farm system. Some. Still got a ways to go. But they actually now do have a few prospects. And I think what you'll see is another year. So when those prospects mature already old, you know, supplemented with some money in you know, maybe a little bit along route three or four years. You know, finally the pools contract will add maybe a little more money. Were you surprised by the release of Matt Kemp today Cincinnati Reds released Matt camp? I'm not sure exactly the breakdown of who's paying Mr. Kemp this year the dodgers the reds. Maybe there was another team in there somewhere in the middle because he kept paying traded around and parts of his salary. We've picked up elsewhere Cincinnati. You've gotta be for at least a pretty damn big chunk. But they said, yeah, we'll just go on with it. Because we don't think he's any part of our future we use prized. He got cut. I know he's heard. But at some point he's going to get healthy. Have we seen the last of Matt Kemp? Yeah. You know? I I was more surprised that it happened while he was on the disabled list with that broken rib and and this early in the season, you know, I mean, they could have done this spring training. Really if they were going to make a decision to go with their other outfielders like Winker, Chevron has like that employees, of course. But you know, I'm not overly shock. I to be honest with you. I was surprised count lasted the full season with the with the Los Angeles Dodgers last year. I mean, I think they fully intended to release him early last year during spring training, but you know. To really hot start. And they ended up he actually played well enough last year that they had to keep him. But I thought they know get rid of him last year. I'm not shocked at the reds one thing about camp is he's just a combination. He's not the player. He once was and he's all about. He's he's diva. You know, he's got the big ego. He's he's he he likes to Hollywood it. And he's just not one of those guys I in my opinion. And obviously in the opinion of a lot of these clubs now have got rid of it for San Diego to Atlanta to Los Angeles. Cincinnati. He's just not one of the guys he's where he's going to take young players under his wing and be a great influence and offer all kinds of good tips and coaching. I mean, he's he still kinda axes if he's at the top of his game. He's not. So when you're not producing and you're not really contributing in the clubhouse. I I'm not overly shot. No, just like I say more at the timing than anything. Right. And I don't think we will see Matt Kemp beginning just against on my part. I know maybe I'm wrong. But wouldn't be surprised if he showed up in somebody's camp next year on a make good contract. Because that's they always seem to hang in for at least. One more shot at another major league camp. We see that next spring sky. Great stuff. Always a pleasure, my friend. We will talk again soon. Thanks for jumping on with us and know full, well, I lost enough for both of us in the Kentucky Derby today. I'm sorry to hear that that I'm happy to be honest chat with you. This this is the place where it happened the goes to live in the streets, not very front and center the way the old film. It was sort of in the it was sort of understood that that would be in the periphery because it was a film made in nine hundred seventy seven this film said in ninety seventy seven so of that bottom line half that Red Army Faction and the second World War and all the rest of it. And especially Klemperer carry. Actor drowsy right back. All that stuff. It said he doesn't dance the dance is about last stuff. Yeah. Interpreting history don't vote very troublesome entitled troublesome paces powerful the peanut Bausch. And even what he does now. So I think those rather beautifully done it easy to do. And I should us wins having a bowl in the middle of that people. It's a hot thing we do. She's elliott. I think she improvised that line. She must have put in. It's just sounds like tool to Swinton it reeks Tilda Swinton. But I think she is. I think she's magnificent in imperious. And that's how you want you to Winston to be. I wouldn't miss. Yeah. No, she's she's very attractive character. Terrifying. This. Oh, great sina facing fried chicken with Dakota Johnson, which is all I've ever wanted to see on film to be on. This. It has gone fried chicken team in as well as important. It's always important to prop of our day. But other than say about to out to say, oh, not the most Carter's she doesn't play just Madame blown nothing. We think because I think that that is being a kind of palm positive part of the mystery is she also where you can tell us. Yes. Because when I was watching I was thinking bloat looks bit weird that Mr. camera, and then there was some it's very funny history of it because Dakota Jones was asked in an interview before the film festivals venison than Toronto. As she went. Who knows lovely Mr. Kemp? Ruse great great actors actress pay by Elsa behalf. Really great, really good. Then what an east deny in? And then eventually told us witness admitted it was me in the now it's out there. It was her. But she it's not her. It's her she's playing an actress who plays this guy. So she's she's invented a character for herself to play this guy. Extra. There is another actress that she is playing that has had the prestige. Exactly. So it isn't till the technically her apparently. And then Luca Toby at a lot of festival that I'm going to say again because she's pay the third character somewhere in the movie as well. And I have so I've read I can spot that. Do you want me to spoil it? Maybe we used to. So I went into the film, not realizing that she had played multiple roles and read about them off towards and when you think about it in hindsight, it's actually quite obvious. And I think the perspective makeup is quite terrible. Understand what the point is what I was gonna ask this is because there are moments quite a lot of the emotional punch. The film is delivered through the character Klemperer, actually, and it's a strange you can't act so well with pussies and it's face work. Right. This is close up face work. So it's a little a little bit of a funny one you kind of want you to main protagonists to be to be giving doing that. I don't really understand that characterize don't understand his function other than maybe as a way into the school or that. We do have to coach Johnson Ceesay for that..

"And the evidence is stored on flash drives that cannot be a raised or shredded. And all of this could be very handy for the Democratic Congress that takes office in January. In simpler, times the midterm election of nine days ago would be mostly old news by now. But that election remains current news. And we're still sorting out. What happened? There are a million votes yet to be counted in California alone for Democrats. The news has gotten better with almost every passing day since the polls closed the Blue Wave got bigger as the votes were counted bigger than the shellacking President Obama got in two thousand ten and nearly as big as the congressional turnover after Watergate Democrats who needed Twenty-three seats to get their majority have one thirty six now and could end up with as many as forty new seats in the house. It is their biggest gain since the post Watergate election of seventy four and while Republican control of the Senate grew it grew by just one seat. Democrats lost only one or two seats. They're not the three or four seats. They were expecting to lose. After a close race for Jeff flake Senate seat in Arizona democrat here Ston cinema. Who was trailing on election night? Took the lead as mail-in ballots were counted. And is now Arizona's first female Senator after flipping her district from red to blue. But the house and Senate races are just the tip of the Blue Wave when the dust in those races had settled Democrats at one seven governorships and picked up well over three hundred seats in state legislatures big name, Republican governors Scott Walker and Chris Bach. Got the boot as did the governors of Illinois. Maine, Michigan, Nevada and New Mexico. State legislatures are the lawmaking bodies that in recent Republican control have made it easier to get guns harder to vote and easier to foul the environment with climate changing pollution, Democrats, replacing them can reverse all of those actions and fixed the gerrymandering that's been proven more than once to be about suppressing votes. Democrats. Also, flipped state attorney general seats in Colorado, Michigan and Nevada giving Democrats control of more than half the state AG. Offices in the country, and it's been lawsuits by those attorneys general that have kept Trump in line on immigration and the Affordable Care Act, but election night isn't over as votes are still being counted across the country with some of those racist still painfully close the Georgia. Governor's race remains undecided. As we wait to hear if either Brian camp or Stacy Adams got the fifty percent or more they would need to avoid a runoff election. The court there has Abrahams trailing camp by less than one half a percent. And a federal judge has ordered to delay in the certification of Georgia's election results expressing concern about the state's voter registration system, and Mr. Kemp's handling of provisional ballots Kemp supervised the election in which he's now fighting to be governor in the Florida governor's race. Democrat Andrew gillum is also less than a half percent behind Republican Ron to Santa's Florida law requires a recount in any race that close. So a recount is underway. As is the recount in the too close to call Florida's Senate seat up for grabs in that race. The lead is less than two tenths of a point for Republican. Rick, Scott and democrat incumbent Bill Nelson. If those raises are not settled by three o'clock this afternoon. Florida law demands a recount by hand of the ballots that were over voted or under voted and over voted. Ballot includes at least one race in which the voter chose more than one candidate and under voted ballot is one on which the voter appears to have skipped certain races. Not voting for anyone in that office. Both kinds of sloppy voting are fairly typical especially in places with ballots that are poorly designed Broward County, Florida is one of those places. The disputed Senate race was buried near the bottom of the page underneath a long column of instructions there are at least thirty three thousand over and under votes to be re counted in Florida's Senate and gubernatorial races and well over one hundred thousand. Such ballots three recounted in the race for Florida agriculture Commissioner the hand count..

"No, absolutely. And in terms of your standard punditry class when it comes to these types of. Grenelle races. Some of these races. You're referring to will determine whether or not. This is going to be classified as you know, a wave or a subverted one and ripple or somebody, right? Exactly. So. The game the game's not over totes actually over. But in terms of what you were referring to earlier about not just Florida Republicans, but practically the entirety of Trump world right now coming down and all right. Getting ahead on the messaging saying that Democrats are trying to steal elections in two states from Republicans right now and. Launching conspiracy or a wave of fraud or whatever it's the exact same playbook. You've been seeing from this president and from the Republican party for weeks and weeks and weeks if not months on a whole variety of issues stating that those those risk of a conspiracy of voter fraud to steal the midterms even before any of that voting happened. It's just a lot of nonsense that. They keep waging before we move on Sheryl Stolberg. We should say a word about Georgia that governor's race between the Democrats Stacey Abrams and the Republican Republican Brian. Kemp is still unresolved Mr. Kemp has stepped down from his role as Georgia's secretary of state, which he kept throughout the election secretaries of state oversee elections. So that was thing where does what do we expect now going forward in terms of resolving that race? Well, I think Stacey Abrams is refusing to concede so far Brian Kemp is leading slightly. There's a question about whether or not they'll be a recount, I think we should note that Stacey Abrams had she been electoral where she to be elected. She would be the first African American female governor in the nation. She is somebody who's pushed throughout her career. She was minority leader in the Georgia state house to expand access to the polls. She ran a project called the new Georgia project that was dedicated to signing up people to vote. This is sort of been what she is really about. So I think there's a there's been a tinge of irony in that race that her opponent was overseeing the same race that he was running in and disqualifying ballots while he was in office. Let's move on. And talk about another big story that broke this week here in Washington, and that has to do with the attorney general Jeff Sessions less than a full day after the polls closed in the mid terms. President Trump pushed Mr. sessions out. It was a move. He had been threatening for more than a year. So it didn't come as a shock. But Mr. sessions has resignation letter made it clear that the move was not entirely his decision. The first sentence. Reads quote at your request. I am submitting my resignation unquote swin. What do we know about the circumstances behind his current quote, unquote resignation? Why now and what what does that mean in a larger sense? Well to your point about Jeff Sessions sort of winking and nodding and knowledge that this was a firing. Ng not a resignation in a traditional or objective sense of everybody who I've spoken to in the White House, or who is close to Trump who have recently talked to the president about this characterize it as an explicit firing. There's no other way to look at it. Even though the White House in its messaging is going out of its way not to use the word fired or firing. And as you correctly point out. This is something that the president the United States has been wanting to do for over a unit. It's something that people around him have been begging him not to do recently at least until after the midterms. I think a lot of people around him just didn't know it was going to come this quickly after the mid terms concluded on election night was over. But look there isn't any love lost of Jeff Sessions has been deeply annoyed resentful toys, the president for his public abuse and bullying of him for well over you now since summer two thousand seventeen and the president goes out of his way to not just publicly, but privately bully, and belittle and demean and humiliate his. Now, ousted attorney general even called him repeatedly. And I quote, mentally retarded because of how much he disliked this guy and considered himself a failure..

"The race to be governor of Georgia is one of the tightest in the midterms in the United States, and it is one of the most controversial now in the final hours of that race. Another firestorm has erupted over the integrity of the voting system on the weekend. Brian Kemp who is running for the Republicans launched an investigation into alleged hacking of the voter registration system by the state's Democrats. And Mr. Kemp is also Georgia's secretary of state who oversees elections, the Democrats are crying foul, and so are some voting rights attorneys. David d cross is a lawyer suing the state of Georgia over its election. Rules, we reach Mr. cross in Washington. Mr. cross what exactly is Brian Kemp's office accusing the Democrats of doing. Well, unfortunately, it's unclear exactly what he's accusing them of. Because he's not provided any details or any evidence of any kind of hacking by anyone the Democratic Party or otherwise, the statements that he's put out over the last couple of days have evolved and shifted in inconsistent ways. But it looks down to a claim that information he received from his lawyers suggested to him that there was some sort of hacking by the Democratic Party. Of course, I know that to be untrue because I'm the one who provided information to his council a Saturday afternoon. Okay. This is this going to that where do the allegations come from? Then the allegations came from a Georgia voter who was on the my voter page. Yeah. And I did a fighter potential -bility that would allow anyone to access registration information for any voter potentially. Even alter that information into we conveyed that to the FBI and to Kim's office on Saturday. So you. You were the ones that you forward to this Email, and I send it to to the FBI. They looked at it for cyber security issues. Then they forward it to Mr. Kemp's office. Yes, that's correct. And also alerted DHS. And what did Mr. can't do with the information forwarded? I don't know what he's done with that. They have not responded to us further at all indicate that there's any ongoing investigation. I know as disaster noon, they still have not contacted, Mr. right? Who is Richard Reid is the guy who identified this Boehner ability to us divided. His contact information to Kim's office on Saturday. No one is contacted him. So so far, there's no indication that any investigation has Kurd understanding that these charges have hacking that he is saying that the Democrats were attempted some packing that the the source of this comes from an Email that you forward it to them about alerting about a possible data-breach. Yeah. I mean, that's what they're saying. But it's hard to draw a line between the dots. Kemp wants to draw because again, give formation we conveyed to the FBI Kim's office had nothing to do with the Democratic Party. We didn't talk to Democratic Party. We weren't involved with the Democratic Party. Neither as Mr. right, not affiliated with them at all. And so for him to say that he obtained information from his lawyers that supported investigation into hacking by the Democratic Party. Just just doesn't jive with the facts is he possibly referring to something else that you've not seen is that possible. I can't speak to what as referring to. Because he won't tell anyone the only thing that I'm aware of is Mr. right did contact the Democratic Party on Saturday morning as well as another avenue to get his concerns to the proper authorities and released from the emails that I've seen that were released by the Democratic Party. They did nothing more than pass along. They simply forwarded the information for Mr. right on to you folks -ffiliated with the secretary of state's office, including secretary Kemp's cybersecurity expert when he Lee who is a professor that serves on the safe commission, specifically for election security purposes..

"The top state election official announcing the investigation of alleged misconduct in the closing hours of a campaign would be big story. However, as we point out almost nightly here is not normal circumstances. So in Georgia's secretary of state who doesn't offer any evidence launched a probe or the state's Democratic Party. It went beyond big that's because the secretary of state Brian Kemp is also the Republican candidate for governor and his locked in a very tight bitterly fought race with the democrat. Stacey Abrams we invited Mr. Kemp or anyone from his campaign to come on the broadcast. They all declined R Kelly hard time doing some late reporting on this right now. She's in Augusta Georgia. I explain what's going on the second. Stacey Abrams has talked about this and remorse reporters. What is she saying about it? Yeah. That's right. Anderson zoo earlier today, the secretary of state's office announces that they're launching this investigation into Georgia's Democratic Party in response to what they described as a failed attempt to hack the state's voter registration system. But they announced this investigation without giving us any evidence. As to why the Georgia Democratic Party was a part of this probe the secretary of state's spokeswoman saying that she couldn't comment on the specifics of an ongoing investigation other than to say, they learned of this attempted hack from their legal team. Now, we have to delineate between the communications from the secretary of state's office that Brian Kemp heads as opposed to Brian Kemp. Gubernatorial campaign communications that campaign has been much more direct in time Democrats to this hack saying, quote, Democrats tried to expose vulnerabilities in Georgia's voter registration system. These are claims that Democrats are one hundred percent false. They say the claims or scurrilous is Stacey Abrams just spoke. To a couple of hundred people in this community center. She didn't address the controversy in front of the crowd. But we spoke to her immediately following her public remarks. First of all, it's real investigation. What has happened is that Brian Kemp once again is trying to cover up for his failures in cybersecurity by blaming someone else? The first four times he blamed staff, he blamed vendors. And now, he's blaming Democrats. But the reality is there were imperfections in their system their weaknesses and vulnerabilities. They were told about this on Friday, and instead of owning up to the failure. And making it bright, he decided to blame Democrats. We are not responsible. We have nothing to do with us. And I'm very sad that instead of owning up to the responsibility and honoring his commitment as secretary of state that he's once again misleading Georgia. If they're out this campaign. There have been these repeated allegations of voter suppression Brian Kemp in his capacity as the secretary of state. We have heard the litigation well as the news of this investigation comes out. We're also learning that one of the organizations involved in litigation with Brian Kemp is claiming that the online voter registration database that updates the electronic polling lists. They're saying that that system is open to manipulation so Anderson you see the PR machines on both sides spinning trying to use this as an opportunity to appeal to their already polarized basis. But at the end of the day, there is a question about the ability of Georgia's voting registration system. So it has Mr. Kemp made any comment directly about this. No, he hasn't. He didn't address it when he was on stage with President Trump earlier today in Macon, Georgia. Like, I said you have to really separate the communications we're getting from his secretary of state office as opposed to his campaign that campaign being more willing to be aggressive in their rhetoric towards Stacey Abrams and the radical Democrats as they call them. But we have not heard Brian Kemp addressed this situation directly himself Anderson, though, his secretary of state's office does tell me they will be meeting with the FBI and other officials tomorrow to see how this investigation proceeds or hard tongue. Appreciate it back now with our political team. I mean is it. It's kind of a complex story torture going to figure out would David. How did you see it? "We partnered with under sport lease Charles off, incredible items. So get there now. Hey now the race for Georgia. Governor is in the national spotlight since Republican candidate Brian Kemp was soon from bonus oppression, and we're joined via satellite by the woman who wants to be the first black female governor and US history. Stacey. The morning saving. Good morning. So can you hear me? I can indeed. Excellent. So you're calling on your opponent to resign after an investigation found that he stalled fifty three thousand voter registrations. Because names don't exactly match each other state are deformed which is required under Georges exact match law. What do you think is going on here? Unfortunately, my Ponant has been at this for several years. We sued him in two thousand sixteen at a federal judge found that he had legally cancelled thirty four thousand registrations using the exact same system. My worry is that he's using his position secretary of state to tilt the playing field his direction and that undermines the public trust in our democracy. So I just wanted to make myself quite he's he's running against you for governor and oversea state elections. Yes. Both the player and the empire will so. What what has an recused himself? If he's really confident why doesn't he himself and see how the people vote. That's what we've asked for in fact, crisco Bach in Kansas had to recuse himself because of a similar situation. Unfortunately, Brian Kemp campus refused to do. So. Lee Lee Abrams. It's not just the exact match system. There seems to be unprecedented voter suppression in this race because I've been following it very closely. It looks like in October the NWC filed a complaint saying that voting machines were incorrectly. Registering votes for a four Kemp as opposed to you by thirty percent. Also senior citizens that were on a bus from a senior citizen center were pulled over by local officials and removed and the Jefferson County administrator defended the removal arguing that the bus hadn't been authorized to take the seniors to the polls. Now, president Carter. Former president Carter has waited. He sent the letter to asking him to resign to foster voter confidence, you're racist so tight now you're in a dead heat. Are you confident that this is going to be a fair election and do you plan to fight? If you lose the election, I plan to win the election, but I want to. The way to fairly is to make certain that we have integrity in our elections. Mr. Kemp has been sued multiple times over the last eight years, he put someone in jail for helping her blind father vote he has been multiple organizations because he has been an architect of voter suppression. However, I want every eligible Georgian to cast their votes because the best way to win is to overwhelm the system with our democracy team. Right. Things that can efforts there racially motivated. I don't question his heart. I do question the results, and we know that he is disproportionately purged voters of color, stop voters of color, arrested voters color, and that's problematic because regardless of his intent the result is that racial bias has been injected into our system and that undermines confidence in our democracy because he has said just show up with an ID, and you should be fine. He has said that the problem is Georgia has one hundred and fifty nine counties that means thousands of volunteers who are going to independently and subjectively determine whether you meet the standard. And if it's someone who doesn't like you because of something you did to them and their car. They may decide that you don't quite meet the standard. We shouldn't have a subjective form of democracy. We have rules and regulations. Nations. And if you meet those rules, you should be allowed to vote without hurdles leader of yet. Abram? Visit Megan McCain. Yeah. Thank you for coming to the show. You have been endorsed by everytown, which is an gun organization. Michael Bloomberg's anti-gun gun group as well. You say you're proud to have an f rating from the NRA Michael Bloomberg and others like him in the wake of what happened in Pittsburgh support taking away the AR fifteen which is the most popular rifle in America away from people. Do you like every town support banning AR fifteen? So let's be clear. I am not gun. My great grandmother taught me how to shoot when I was growing up in Mississippi. "And I don't not sure we should be talking about it. I'm sorry. I just got us off track. I was going to say though, but but to me that's why we have to talk about it. We have to provide context we have to fact, check it. Because if we don't talk about it there, so many media outlets out there who have no sense of obligation to be responsible with how they communicate about these topics and just continue to spread lies and myths, and this is the problem. We're seeing right now with how media is consumed all social media Facebook in particular, and just so many things are being said that are completely untrue. And to your first point. I completely agree. We should acknowledge their. Is no plan even discussion and place for middle class tax cut. And that's from Republican lawmakers that's from White House aides and what the president's doing which we should say, it's he is actually acknowledging that the tax cut his his party originally passed did not work for middle income Americans. That's why he has to make this whole thing that that it's leaving Republicans very confused about what it is the president's talking about. And if we don't call that out, quite frankly, Republican conservative media will just continue to report that Trump's going to give you this thing that nobody even knows it's happening. It was mind blowing literally watching him say next week. Congress is going to do this thing that congress could not do because congress wasn't even in Washington. Session right now, we are in Georgia here GP in Atlanta. We'd be remiss to come to this wonderful state without talking about. It's fascinating race for governor democratic candidates Stacey Abrams met her Republican opponent Brian Kemp in a debate here. Gpk this week the race for governor. In Georgia is pretty tight at this point. Let's get some perspective from Greg blue Stein, political reporter for the Atlanta Journal constitution, he is traveling with Kemp campaign. Gregg, welcome to one A. Thanks. Were there any big highlights from the debate that we get a sense that either MS Abrahams or Mr. Kemp won that debate. And why they're playing a very distinct audiences basically this stage in the race. It's all about energizing their bases. And both of them were looking for ways to do exactly that Brian can push back on any sort of allegations that he's trying to suppress the vote and said he would not resign from office. And not only that he said he would continue to direct a state recount if that's needed between 'em and Dave Abrams talked about some of her core campaign promises including Medicaid expansion. It's your closing argument. And actually to be honest job opening argument to she's talked about Medicaid expansion from the moment, she got him the race last number down in Albany, Georgia. So that that's pretty much where we are in the race. And right now, they are Chris crashing the state going to places where they think they can energize their supporters the most and we should be clear the issue with camp resigning offices because Kemp is currently Georgia's secretary of state and secretaries of state oversee elect. So he is in an election. And also the state official who technically supposed to oversee the election that he is in now under Kemp's watch one hundred seven thousand voters were purged from the voting rolls last year for not voting in the previous election this year. Fifty three thousand voter applications were suspended seventy percent of those seven zero percent of those suspensions dealt with black voters last Friday and attendee in an event for Kemp called Georgia professionals for Kemp leaked this audio of the secretary of state, listen. "Midterm elections are fast approaching in the US, but for many voters in Georgia confusion reigns over whether they will be able to vote at all the Republican candidate for governor. Brian Kemp is currently the secretary of state for the state of Georgia and that puts him in charge of overseeing the election rules rolls that some say have become prohibitively strict. Now, a federal judge has ordered election officials to stop rejecting absentee ballots over alleged signature mismatches. Stacey Hopkins is one of many who have challenged the state's laws since Mr. Kemp took over. We reached MS Hopkins in Atlanta. Ms hopkins. It's two thousand eighteen in the US. How is it? That voting rights are still such a contentious issue in an election. That is a really good question because from my perspective and from what happened to me personally. This could be eighteen eighteen it just takes your breath away that we are seeing right now all of these manifestations of voter suppression Karrar one of the sticking points is the state's exact match law. Tell me what that is exact matches. They law that was passed by our state legislature, very strict metric that says how your ide- must match your voter registration to the letter. So for example, my name is Stacey Hopkins if my ID as Stacey a Hopkins. And my voter registration says Stacey Hopkins, then the state can say, well, we're not sure this is the same person, and we are going to put you in a pending status. That means you have to once again prove your identity before you are allowed to vote and that leads to a number of voters what not voting. Yes, what we found is that there are those who are being placed on the pending status. And they are not being notified and time for them to clear up their in which is still pending. Now, the state says there's a relief mechanism and that voters can use what we call it. The provisional ballots. Those your last chance ops imbalance and those come with a requirement that you must cured. Whatever problem is sound where you're not allowed to vote on election day, the problem with provisional. These elections are usually called and the provisional ballots and never count. So that's remedy. Really? Don't want to suggest that people use on laissez absolutely have to now the exact match law isn't the only controversy. That's come up in the election. A judge has ruled that election officials must stop rejecting absentee ballots over mismatch signatures, can you tell us what what those are in if this isn't encouraging ruling. Yes, it wasn't harassing, but it is only temporary bomb the issue came out because we're seeing a disproportionate amount of action t ballots being rejected because of the signature and the question became win election workers become handwriting experts. You had an experience of your own where your voter registration was put in jeopardy. Can you? Tell me what happened to you. Yes. In July of twenty seventeen I. They mail. Are it looks like something where you request they pin from your Bank? But the thing that caught my eye was that it had a official United States postal service change of address stick on it. So when I opened the notice it said that we have indication that you have moved and you need to fill this document out. If you do not fill this form out within thirty days. We will then move you to inactive lows now that sentence clicked all whole lot of bells in my head because you cannot place anyone on the inactive rolls unless they have not voted and at least two federal cycles. We had just voted. So there was no way they could put us on the inactive list we were being sent that notice illegally. We moved within the same count and say that challenge stat and you challenge at how did you challenge? It. Actually because I was so distressed about. I took a picture of it. I put it on Twitter the ACLU sought. They contacted me asked that they could represent me and case, and I agree, and I'm so thankful for that. And we challenged secretary state camp who's our chief election officer as well as my county ACLU decided to settle I wanted to take this to court, but I was faced with a limo..

"Now, one of the fifty three thousand aims to be reviewed by the Georgia secretary of state. Marsha appling Nunez has a hyphenated last name, and one of those names Spanich Georgia's voting system is controlled by Republicans, secretary of state, Brian camp, who is Stacey Abrams opponent in this neck and neck. Race for governor and these fifty, three thousand suspended voter, registration applications are just a drop in Mr. Kemp bucket. He's removed one and a half million names from Georgia's voter rolls in the past six years removed over six hundred fifty thousand just last year while he was preparing to run for governor camp is the Republican poster child for voter suppression. And he's currently in charge of an election that involves him despite calls for him to either recuse himself or resign the nation has Voting Rights Act to protect the rights of minority voters. But that law was gutted five years ago by the United States Supreme court. Now, Georgia's Brian camp is facing multiple lawsuits by among others, a coalition of civil rights groups over his enforcement of this exact match law camp claims. The fifty three thousand people he removed from the registration can still vote so long as they bring all the right paperwork voters in Georgia have responded to this. "Clearly know your staff. You clearly have an amazing business background. He bring all that meet all that really pragmatic, gritty facts and data to your answers. I think that's amazing. How are you navigating this new face of politics and pre? You know the experts say the national media's portrayal of Georgia's governor race, which is being portrayed as just the war of identity politics, and all emotion and all nastiness. And I'm just wondering like what happens when you bring all this awesome policy talking mean? You're clearly. Smart and very passionate about these things. And I'm wondering how you're navigating the political environment right now that is not often driven by those things you now. I am very, very fortunate. I grew up in arts in south west, Missouri in a lot of the countries referred to productively as the fly over states, what others have referred to as the bible belt. I had a chance to go to business school in Boston. I had a chance to have a job that moved me for a couple of years to New York in a couple of years to Las Angeles. So I've lived on the coast. I've lived in the midwest in the bible bell, and now I'm in the deep south with four generations of my family. And so I have been very fortunate to live some of those political and blue divides that the talking heads in our media talk about so much and I've lived in a very personal way. I would say where I grew up, I was probably considered one of my more liberal friends. I would say when I lived in. In New York after graduate school in when my job transferred to California for a couple of years, I was probably the Ainhoa the resident Christian conservative, I'll politics. Right? And and because of that experience because I have felt what it's like to not be whatever the neat boxes that somebody wanted you to fit in politically. I have a lot of empathy for people who don't share my world view for people who don't share the same passion for the same candidates that I have, and I do my best to use the two ears and one mouth that God gave us in the correct proportions. So my approach has never been about identity politics at. In fact, I, I'd say by that metric, if you looked on paper, I'm a Harvard MBA suburban evangelical business owner who's read atlas shrugged. I'm a soccer mom, so I, I probably wouldn't check the. Boxes because of that, I'm able to sit with people who don't agree with me on everything. And because of that, I think I'm going to be able to look not at identity politics, but at the politics of common sense, the politics of compassion and the politics of, hey, once upon a time leased, I'll be able to get along and still solve a problem together. It enjoys doesn't need more division. Our country does not suffer from a lack of partisanship. What we need is leaders who remember what it feels like to solve a problem with folks who don't always agree with them what we need. They reminds us that that kind of celebration gives us a craving for more of it once on the board in that way. I think the voters will demand it of their representatives everywhere. So yeah, I kind of I love watching the gubernatorial race. I'm obviously a big Stacey Abrams fan at. She's incredib-. Bright. She's also policy walk. She's an experienced legislator, and I think she has the best interest of all Georgians in her heart. I've never met Mr. Kemp so I, I can't speak to him one way or the other, but I'm quite fond of Stacey Abrams and I think she wants to do the work. So I try to just run my own REIs and I try to be supportive not just of Stacy, but of candidates from top to bottom of the ballot, you know, I've been supporting Everton Blair for board of education in Gwinnett. It is a majority minority school district and he will be the first person of color ever to serve on that board. He's phenomenal. Harvard Stanford educator policy expertise. He's incredible. I've been supporting dozens of house candidates in state Senate candidates county Commissioner candidates. So I'm really, I'm not running. I don't want anybody to vote for me because I'm a woman..
