So good to have you with me here tonight, All of you, Americans, patriots and of course, my guests, Mr Cohn. For those of you who are destroying the show. Now, Mr Elliot Cohen is the founder of the nonprofit group Expectant Fathers Without Voices E F W V for short and Mr Cohn so glad that you are here. I would love to hear your definition of you know how you define an expectant father. Sure. Okay, well, an expectant father is a man who knows his partners. Pregnant. Genuinely wants to be a good parent to that child and a good man, too. The pregnant woman, whether whether they're married or or or not. An expectant father is also a man who would be willing to be vetted extensively by law enforcement, social workers, whatever the state with deem necessary, very similar to surrogacy or adoption, But in these cases it would be the actual Child's biological father, who would be wanting that, you know, to raise the child so that in this case, it wouldn't necessarily have to be the mother who raises the child. It could be the father. It absolutely could be. That said, hey, would also need to be willing to be open to the mother's involvement in the child's life if she were to have a change of heart after carrying the child to term and not rewarding Which would actually be the ideal situation because that's one of the main things that were seeking to do is to keep the families together to keep the family strong and to help. Hopefully educate Young men. As to the way that they should respond to Their partner, and I'm using the word partner because not everybody is necessarily marriage minded, especially especially when it comes to abortion. Sure, so so in the United States just just today, I must say there's some numbers out here just just today in the United States. We have had 1839 abortions performed in our country right now, as we're actually, that just became 1840. So I'm watching a real time. Abortion. Counterfeit. Yeah, It's very, very easy to find us abortion clocked out or now that being said That that's a lot of lives that are being lost, and they're being lost often times due to just a simple miscommunication when when the woman comes to Two a man and says, Hey, honey, I'm pregnant Men have been conditions for the last 30 to 40 years that the most loving and respectful thing that they can say and the best thing they can say, you know, And do you say, Well, honey, I support you. Whatever you choose, because of because of the whole women's right to choose thing, so it's been drilled into into men's minds and especially young men. That the most like I said, the most compassionate and caring and loving thing they can say is all support you whatever you choose so instantly. You're introducing the The option there by using the word choice also putting and then you're also putting pressure on the woman to have to make that decision and you're basically What the woman is hearing is okay. This guy doesn't doesn't really care. He just He's kind of like just willy nilly about it to make money not to make matters even worse. Um, one of one of the lies that the abortion industry has been very good at pushing, just like the one I just mentioned. Is that the follow up to that to that initial statement? Is And if you do choose to have an abortion, I will support you to the point where I will even pay for it. I'll drive. I'll drive you to the clinic. So on and so forth s so and so. So if I can jump in there, I want to understand. What are you teaching men? I mean, I could sort of hypothesize or anticipate what you might be teaching them in the alternative, but as your train to through your nonprofit, do more education. What are you teaching men would be the alternative. What? Something else they could say. In other words, you might be they say, Wow. What amazing, beautiful. Incredible. Glorious news. Yes, Perfect. And I'd like to talk with you and discuss what? Yeah, I'd like to discuss how we can, you know? Bring this child into the world and a happy manner. Yes, happy and safe way. Yeah. Okay. It's go time. Game on. Yeah, no turning back. Now, let's let's go ahead and Are, you know, working together and figuring out ways that we can be the best best parents that we can be, because there is a brand new life about to come into this world on that. That's about the most beautiful and amazing thing. Whether Whether you're looking at it from a faith perspective, or just they're just even a scientific perspective. It's just the creation of life is something that Is is that we all crazy, you know, look at all of the anti aging products that people use and things like that light. Life is something that we cling to so much. You know, when somebody we do everything we can to try to try to keep them, you know well, And so why do we just looked at at at this whole segment of our of our society? E. The pre born Children as disposable. Yeah, and so you're says. Some of what you're doing is really trying to educate and change people's mindsets. And I know another. Another aspect of your non profit, though, is also providing care after an abortion. Is that right? Can you can you tell the audience a little more about that part of your organization? Yes, we do. We do engage in and post post the borders care. We have a and expectant fathers without voices. Facebook's important that they can go to and sign up and join. They can also go to www dot DFW v dot net. Um, but and and we also partner with other posts the border of support groups, which are most often, uh, female base, and this is valuable because often times there are very few men represented in these groups, and it helps the post support of women quite quite a bit, too. Kind of understand and realize that there really are a lot of a lot of good men out there that actually really do care because some of them have had those kinds of miscommunications those kinds of conversations and they thought to themselves, okay? You know, I just told my boyfriend that I'm pregnant. I just told my husband even that I'm pregnant and and he said Okay, we'll support you. Whatever you choose. And if you choose an abortion, I'll pay for it. And then she she was she hears is okay. I'm gonna I like this guy doesn't want anything to do with having a child. Right. So then she'll go ahead and have the abortion and then you know, deal with a lifetime of soccer hope. Um, so it's very, very, very important to focus on poster board and care for women and and and for men..

One for three congressmen, Harris, number one is just sad, but I'm afraid it's a doctor that's just said I'm afraid it's true. I think the mushroom things probably too. I I just can't believe number three. He despite a woman on the You know, a woman at the end of the prayer on the floor E thinks possible these days, Kristen. I agree with the panel. All right, Christy goes along and Chuck I'm gonna go one going number one, The double mastectomy number one. That's exactly that's throughout the show. I think nobody wants your story number two that the vegan sneakers Yeah, that is a true story and story number free Hebrew and she brew that is 100%. Fake news and I and so most the panel gets it. Chuck is the odd man out far for the course. I don't like to say that. I don't want to give you the wrong idea. Come on. All right. Chuck was seeing a double that is coming up on 7 48 4 10 Wcbm succeeded. Coming over the top of the hour. Constant, Harris is going to share a story with us. Yeah, we've got we've got a big day Big Big day president also is going to be addressing the big rally walking east addressing 11. I think he's 11 o'clock. So the big go Trump rally today and it was just shameful the behavior of the D. C. Police last night on the way that they were harassing. Trump supporters and Trump protesters in order to protect those from entering black lives matter Plaza Now you can't even go there. That's exactly why D C should never be a state. That reason because protesters have peaceful protest has to be allowed everywhere, Whether you like him or not, they have to be allowed. Got to get your reaction to what happened in Georgia last night. Raphael Warnock has declared victory in a close race. The other race too close to call. Do you think we lose both those seats? Even with legal challenges and recounts, and everywhere we look who knows who look with Secretary of State over there has already shown that he has no idea what's going on. I mean, we we had a briefing yesterday about specifics in Georgia. He has no idea he thinks only two dead people voting. That's unbelievable. You know, they have records 970 at least and he you know, he just he. He's whistling past the graveyard. He just chooses the closed. Remember, Congressman? You probably do, too, in 2008 the Norm Coleman. Oh, yeah. One count him until one till you're blue in Minnesota, and then the legal challenges began by Senator Stuart Smalley. Okay? L L. Franken and they found balance everywhere. Trunks of cars on they found like with Ellen Sauerbrey. They came up with enough votes, and it always seems to benefit the Democrats. Why is that? Well, they look, they know that you just keep on keep on going until you win the election, And I'm afraid they're gonna do that New York 22..

You're it's exactly how I'm GonNa make a difference in the world so that's really really cool That you mentioned that and we got where there is not the sort of thinking of as silly as it is and it's actually not silly at all. I mean there's all these amazing you know Marvel Superhero movies and shows and Netflix series of origin stories. And and isn't that the hero's journey is is you know it's it's messy and it's gritty and it. It's there's a point to it you know I mean even the greatest greatest superhero. I don't WanNa get into conversation right now. You'd see but I I have a lot of friends and myself who are huge fans of both but if we look at the classic Superhero Superman who was born with. These powers wasn't powerful on his own planet but until he came to the struggles Argos of earth and was an outcast. Did he learn who he truly was. I need to have a whole another. So are we already have an episode. You're coming back on to talk about being a dad which we haven't even mentioned where you're coming back on and tell us while terrible celebrities are and now you're coming we're GONNA come on we're GonNa talk about marvel versus DC but that's a whole lesson that we're summer planned So I don't WanNa lose the threat of the the hero's journey but it's it's making me think of something else. which is you're very open and honest and you and you said that before we hit record open book you've been through so much Why why is it hard? And this is such a huge question. And I don't mean to spring something so loaded on you but it seems hard. Let me let me rephrase it seems so hard for men to be emotionally honest. I'm a woman I happen to be a gay woman who doesn't have a problem being tough. That's sort of my world you know but I have the. I have the emotional flexibility to do that and it sort of seems unfair. Seems unfair that we we live in a culture and are you still in New York. I'M IN UPSTATE NEW YORK. You are because you said that you work in Queens. It's you know being in the northeast. Being in America we have a culture scenes of a demanding vulnerability from everyone including shooting men and not really allowing that You know as I think Bernie Brown says I love her name. Brown says something about we want men to sort of die on the white horse Do you being one being a man at all period And to being a a man in this world being a therapist I mean what do you what do you think that is that our culture. What a big question and I was Kinda love that you quoted first of Albany Brown who I loved one day Renee Brown? If you're listening a looking at you but she's listening. I got my little hat right now. For what the person that I always loved to quote when it comes to men's issues and I talk to once in a while. He's amazing resource. His name is Louis House and one of the things that he talks about in his books mask of masculinity is caused of for years before any of us were around back in the long longtime ago ago men were known as the strong one the Nubia man being no be strong stand up fight for the family protect us. It was. This is idea of strength. which on the roles have adjusted changed? Moved whatever you would like to put a word word to it and it's not only just the man who can do that and probably wasn't the man who could do that back in the day either but just what is a was assigned but that is the issue when it is looked at as weakness for some reason emotions and I declined today who told me that he was crying. His wife for twenty minutes straight and he was embarrassed really why because he said. You can't cry. I gotta be strong for her. I said No. It's okay to cry because you're struggling and you need her to support you

"Country. You didn't want to go into like like the you know the more urban parts of the town that i grew up in but like we would just go parking like a fucking field somewhere and try to have people cut just yet kinda. Give them hints to where you were. It was like hide and seek mix marco polo and it's actually a lot of fun. I've only done it a few times when it was a blast. That's that's look look. That's cool but it's weird yeah. Definitely it was definitely a group of redneck kids. I hung out with one one of those the shady kids from across the tracks. Yes times. I'm early is like savy radios ones man and my that was kind of recently we <hes> went on a holiday not really a holiday we we kind of like went up the coast a little bit to stockton sand dunes and that's what i feel mad max one the first one yeah it was pretty cool but like basically you're driving along the beach in like yo year. It's all pickup trucks z. Fucking likes to call him <hes> and <hes> like we had a kind of like a convoy of three and mike way of communicating via say because there's no ma belle fine reception out there and shit like it's kinda like in the middle of nowhere and you know we're basically communicating like all the fucking holes in the fucking bay jostle. We get bogged down in shan pretty cool. I it's the only time we've ever used it really <hes> i'm and also there was a massive bushfire. That was happening there at the time so we were kind of like listening into the emergency services sort of like channel like it's <hes> yeah <hes> i've never used c._b. Radio obviously i'd seen him in movies all the fucking time so it was exciting. I was like oh we get to us radios and shit pretty cool at anyway then you just get this search through like you just hit this fucking voice third i cannot i mean some people like it when it rains. It's gonna rain in hard to not jay's crawford. I kind of wish they'd left his his original nickname the rainman as cool. I dig that like rusty nails. Kinda okay okay. That's a little cheesy but like i kind of like raymond. You know it's it's it's it's fairly innocent but at the same time ominous it's kinda got a weird ring into a you know the the rain rain man you know rain can be interpreted so many different ways you know water and all that other kind of wish they'd left rain man so there's a reason for the rusty senile name <hes> j.j abrams based loosely based this on a true story yeah very loosely. It was just about about a couple guys who got into some kind of altercation with ghana bah and <hes> leaving martell room. I can't remember exactly the full specifics but he'd we left a rusty nail in that tile or some shit like that. I don't know super super loosely based but but that i mean that's that's what we're saying right like. This is what happens in this story later on especially towards the back-off is kind of like implausible but this whole situation with implying line the pranks and stuff and then someone like getting absolutely fucking pissed that they take revenge. That's that's not that far removed from reality. I think no not in fact i was on the way home from work this morning and forty five and a forty mile an hour zone and i have this guy run up behind hannah white the jeep grand cherokee ams flying up on doing like fifty sixty you know me and a car next year kind of close and this guy just like go like there's two lanes and elaine. He's going. He's merging in our lanes. The third lane is closing and he just gone to goes like fucking sixty through townsquare. We're just trying to get past us and she looked like dude. What the fuck is your problem and he just fucking looks at me smoking a cigarette like what i'm like. Okay dude whatever like you can see see road. Rage is such a common an unbelieving. Leave your thing now that it's <hes> it's massive here like it is honestly and especially in sydney look ride. Ride is thing i've seen people literally get out of the cause and start a fucking fistfight like you know it's a it's it is a thing it's intense as as well as can be super can't see you kinda and super sadly unfortunately <hes> yeah yeah but anyway hey black she. This is candy cane. He's he's kinda. He's kinda. You know he's got a feminine kind of voice that catkins nieto. I can see it. I'd fuck him away. He's ah but i love. I love i love full is reaction new these fucking horny the way they kind of like set them up to like. I feel bad for at first at first. You're like like man. These guys are kinda dicks. You know but you know he's a freshman college student his older brothers immature. It's believable man. I did show like this. You know not not not to this extent. Yeah you know. Light is bolivia right. Exactly you know we we call we do prank calls and i was in high school. You know but like i never had somebody hunt me down and try run me off. The road is like what the fuck like at first. You're kind of like it's just he's our. I'd never really done this before. You know he's kind of like man. This guy sounds like he hasn't gotten laid like ever. You know i'd say when he did that. I thought he kinda like he sounded a little simple. If accents like i i'd like sounds like someone who is a little will you. He's on the spectrum yeah yeah but but you know what i love i love when we get into like like when when when they do it again at the martell lighter immediately after that kind of like hang up after that i love louis being like wishing on that that was like a main like i love him like immediately immediately regretting it right yeah him regretting his letting letting his rope administration that his brother he's like man. I'm you know i'm above that. Come on in right right exactly art of your bra man. What are you gonna do to me. The interesting puts alert. Israel only wanted him to just kareem. I'll make you into human siskind sir he you just over the c._b._s. This is like a fucking prequel to silence of the lambs. Yes they get into this motel darn park in the handicaps. He's like i'm gonna give it this is it's it's fucking. It's it's it's it's fucking dumb but i love it and then he fucking mate mr elliot house this guy comic comically a piece of shit yeah. Maybe me a little too much the yes i mean he could. He could be an asa without being just like an over the top fucking races but seeing where they were. They like missouri or montana or something. I it's believable is it. I mean yeah okay. I guess you do get some people who like that here. Unfortunately but what can you do also is that they keep referring to him as like fattention like but it's not huge he's a he's a bit huskies a big do. I wouldn't call them fat. Though yeah i'd call them like broad but like not not like like fuller refers to him as like fatima but yeah fucking rusty nail ends up calling ends up calling for candy candy again and again talkin man that that is what scared the fuck outta major like his his drooling voice man like it's just insane it's intense. He was made for like v. I work but the boys worry for men to made up with mr l. ing house in room seventeen. Damn this was this was a part of the movie where i was like. Okay i as a nine year old. I am loving this movie like just like holy. Shit like this is what is going to happen here. One is gonna got what what the fuck is going to happen from here. It's fantastic but i also love the lighting here as well like you. You got that red reflection of percentage and like it's just hitting them in the cards fantastic yeah that's really well done absolutely absolutely rusty nail. Hey they're getting the loss ossiew. I couldn't even do the voice. I feel like you can do it a little bit of kandal new kind of have to like stick. You're talking about your mouth. He's got this for. He sounds like a guy who's had like a third of his tongue cut off. You know what i mean. Yeah i got you but i mean at the same time i can't really pull that off man but dirt talk about this vis marvin like this the cinematography here when when rusty nail pulls up to room seventeen like i the the decision not to to cut over to room seventeen to like get mr l. ing houses sort of like perspective on it and hold on that one shot of fuller and lois listening in putting is up against the wall and we cut into the sar week. We pull into that painting like full. What feels like the longest time i did that works so fucking well now yeah. I think it definitely builds the suspense because it's it'd be so easy just to come to the room. I think i think a normal horror movie we would do this. <hes> it's it's kind of it. Builds suspense a little bit more because were were so accustomed to that but like exactly what you said at the beginning of the thing that we i don't see as usually more kind of terrifying thing that we the thing that we we do see and we we've seen this guy this. Whatever the fuck this this guy's name wants to fat guy you know uh-huh and and you know this guy is an ass always a bigger ailing us yeah he he he probably you know he he can probably take a punch and throw punches this. Is you know to to the point that they think that he's the one who's gonna hurt truckdriver and they're like oh no blah blah blah so the fact that i think when we find out that scripts been flipped and that's not the case. It's even more of a shock doc like fuck. Well like how big is the guy fought like. What's what's the deal that dude because you know it also helps kind of avoid loyd <unk> just kind of like a horror trope like well. We'll throw in some action and some gore right here bubba wa because they cash those chips in for spence and that's what makes that's what i think makes it better than normal b. Movie popcorn kind of flick right like a normal kind of brings it moves a pasta sorta like standard sorta sorta slasher film ride it kind of like a it keeps you in the perspective of these two boys who have no idea what the fuck like just app and ride and babe like it. It keeps it tense and suspenseful. I really dig it but also i really love like lois like getting immediately sort of like remorseful ye kohl's night manager asia you hear the fucking telephone just ringing and then you hear rusty now. Pick it up presumably saying everything's all good at that like the my manager manager colleague calling him back and saying hey. I don't know what you talking about. Everything's fucking right like that. Shit man this whole sequences just fantastically well done but of course the next morning earning louis louis wakes up to find full of talking to the sheriff dirty this matchstick chewing motherfucker. This guy might as well be the killer. He looks like an horrifying. Yes creepiest fuck man. He kind of gave me like at jackie earle haley vibe rohrschack kind of i do it poll good pool but there is an awesome awesome shot here. It's kinda like haze like on the far right of the frame and then the background. You've got like the martell signs and shit. Did you catch that like that shot shot. It's kind of like a mid show more. Sorry say that say that one more time. I'm rewinding i didn't i was kind of trying to catch. You're saying yeah this is like one shot here of like the cinematography <hes> if he got her probably literally like the twenty amona wanna run out. It's like twenty six fifty eight and is literally elect him like talking to fulla woah. It's it's a weird shot. That shouldn't be in a movie like this like sort of like a baby like this..

"He wouldn't be there. While I you magic one at tyrod Ludivina coach. We never heard LeBron say one of them to be the coach. He doesn't intentionally. But here's the thing Jacoby. There's one thing if you LeBron, you might say they gave you a three year deal those are the years, I'm gonna be here too. He may be like, wait a minute. You want to try to get a five year and then they balked at that ain't nothing I can do about that. That's on you. So we have not heard him speak on the very candidate. Lebron James who finds ways to make sure that he voices, his opinion when he needs to so based on that I saw level of support can again, this is not doom and gloom for the Lakers. They're in a great situation to be successful next year. Who's the only great team in the west? The Golden State Warriors say Katie lease they're vulnerable who's the second best team in the west the Houston Rockets, okay? The Lakers are just as good if not better than them come playoff time right now. And we will see with a healthy young core and a healthy LeBron James that perhaps another piece, I love the Lakers chances next year. But I'm also an unabashed LeBron stand, but Jalen, we're gonna move on from the Lakers. Thank Zeke you'll. I think Mr., Mr. Elliot, the Ohio, he'll. Elliot number running back, number one TMZ sports had video of Ezekiel Elliott and his lady friend at the electric daisy carnival, and there is depressing a security guard physically. He kinda pushes them a little bit the security guard falls is offense. Then the police come over and handcuff him and detain him. However, it's very, very important to note. He was not charged with any crimes this security guard, as TMZ said, did not want to press charges. So Ezekiel was then detained. "Zeke you'll. And then he left Jalen, this is not the first time as Elliot has sort of been in an incident. "You to pound sand. Exactly, exactly. This is Denise and there's no problem with your current credit card, but if you'd like to save big money. No Denise by especially when it's a phone. They call the phone number. That's not connected to any credit card. I have we'll ever have. Right. And but basically that's just to get you on the line. So they can get your information in and try to sell. Tell you something that you really don't need gel. Lemme tell you my dad loves these telemarketer calls because he just messes with them. He'll try to keep them on the line as long as possible because he's got nothing else. Better to do. You know, I have a friend who who says when the of course, a lot of them recorded. But when it's a real live person, they'll say do me a favor hang on a second. And he'll just put the phone down and go do something else. And just. It's load them. Wait. I can remember growing up in the back when we actually still had land lines were thing, and it would never fail the telemarketers. It's almost like they had some sort of system. They knew when we were sitting down to eat. Yes. And the phone would ring like clockwork it does. Anyway, that would go over pick it up realize it was a telemarketer just set it down on the table. We go back and Sydney by their newly give we got done. Eating gobert. Hang the phone up. Sounds like a good plan. It sounds like your dad and Billy's data are both on the same page because it's I don't know. I just it is one of those things universally people just hate those and the the no call list guys. The thing was supposed to take care of this and the telemarketers. Boy, they learned how to blow right past that. It's a needs some teeth to it. I mean, I get it. There's some penalties. I guess if they find you like this group or groups whoever did the four groups here that the the FTC has ruined their day, right and made everybody else to stay. Oh, they'll just re organized with another shell company before. Oh, yeah. Dry on the order. And then you get the ones. That they're obviously robocalls. But it's the they want they claim to be from the IRS. And that there's an there's a warrant for your arrest in the by your local sheriff, I got those, and it's, but it's never anywhere that the IRS will be operating. It's like some remote part of Texas wherever you go. Look it up on a map that there's no federal agency for miles the the area that it says it's from his occupied by twelve cows and a rancher. Yeah. None of them want you to be arrested by your local sheriff. Well, I kept getting calls from this guy from New York who said that, you know, anytime Mr. Elliot we're going to turn this over to the to the Jefferson County sheriff's department you will be arrested by tomorrow morning at seven o'clock. And I said, well, you know, I have some coffee ready. I mean. Anybody with half a mind knows that the sheriff's office doesn't have arrest by appointment. It's not like, you know, I need I need. Joe Elliott, arrested at six fifty five killers that slot open. Just seems a little I mean that doesn't that's not how that works. If you commit a crime, they go get you. There's not a reservation system and nine times out of ten with these calls. You haven't committed a crime and half the time. They do it before you've even filed your tax returns to even know if you have committed a crime, but you know, it's it's all changing so much. Does anybody have a landline anymore? Will you don't have one right now? I haven't had a landline for going on ten years. Yeah. Same same Lee, Billy. I know you don't have a land. Now. I don't. But I remember my parents having one and I'm glad you brought it up. I was gonna ask is that is that still a thing? Yeah. I mean, it's they are there are some of the phone companies want to get rid of them in the legislatures generally will not let them because you know, there are people in some rural areas and things who really depend on their landlines in this state. It's I'd say it's mainly in eastern Kentucky where there's just it's not that there aren't cell towers there. It's just that the cell towers, don't work. So well, when you know, they just have terrible getting into the valley. And things. So it's easier to have a landline there for no other reason than just for the ability to call nine one one. It's interesting though, I like if I needed to talk to will. I'd call the Clark house. I'd call voted talk to Billy at Colorado college house now, I don't do that. I just call Billy. Or will? You know? It's like when I don't understand why someone still takes the time to Chuck a phone book on my driveway. What's agree with that? Yeah. What what are we what are we doing here? "Yes. Oh you love man. Show. I just yet they wanna help people. They bastard thing is there. They go out their way to help saw Pete was promptly. I can I used to. I used to from way to like help people. I'm only able to know get that attachment. That's why I can I can sit through a comedy before sit through, like anything else in the world. Like. Like I love action adventure sometimes yeah. Dragging even dragon Mosey has some comedy in it, right? I feel like comedies, the best general because literally every anime you could find a little snippet of even like Horan a second. Yeah. Yeah. I mean. Definitely just for a brief second in horrid. Like I you mentioned horror that reminded me of I watched this one called. And I think you actually mentioned it earlier. Corpse party. I think which I was like I was trying to think I was like, I don't know if I saw any economy. It might not be funny. The fact that he's laughing at these more. She gets the fact, he yet these bodies litter one he can't get off literally, the one where he keeps thinking about the most in. What sorry about that? Literally, the one he keep like, oh, this is so she's to be per is the one person cares about is kinda funny in like sake way when I can. Yeah. I'm like, yeah, I totally get that, for sure. This is like for some reason, like horrid like that show popped in my head, and I was just like a man. Need that one? Let's but when he threw until wall, she turned it to, like, pancakes, stuff. Once you get once you get over the fact that, okay? That probably heard it, but it probably heard it briefly is messed up. Yes. I don't want people to think of this terrible person eleven people's misery of that. It's a cartoon. Yes. Enemy and cartoon is, you know, that we don't have time to argue that. But just for the listeners. So what other types of John is are you into? I know you mentioned action and I know you talked about, you're also watching a Baki the grappler, that's the Netflix six one, right? Okay. Did you get to finish that yet? Yet a moment to. Fifteen still secret. Okay. Some of my friends to catch up until literally what we do it is, if it's something we can all agree on watching together. So literally, even if like we can't come to the same location, I'll call them up. Ability, listen, a plan that Bissau's. So you played at the same time. So we'll keep. So basically, we're watching it at the same time. So literally he's he's like on episode like ten right now. He's almost caught up. I'm enjoying bodied. Grab could I remember it like from back in the day in it's funny that I can enjoy things. Now it's probably older that can enjoy things now more than I could understood like back like is a new bring a the disasters were on a at Seki Jake. Yeah, welcome, welcome to NHK. Like that was anime. I could not get into when I was younger like I try to I try. Yeah, I net out on both of them might you hell. I understand completely what this guy's going through in. He needs help. Yeah. So, yeah, I highly the basically, we all trying to keep up at Saint pace and things like that the earth's co that you can at least try to organize something like that, like me and my friends awhile back. We tried to do like, like on a like a book club type of thing and say, like here, we'll pick this one series and then watched like two episodes like a week or something. And then be at the same time, which isn't even as coordinated as you have it. You know watching it like pressing play at the same time. Yeah. The idea from like a third grade teacher. Never forget, Mr. Elliot, I used to, I would always get in trouble in his class, but he saw I was always distracts us to do that after school will always be on, like a Thursday Friday. Let me give four my friends, it will abuse. He'll get like the newest this back set takes me a V though. This this back this. Get like the like drag must Broglie move your coolers, revenge. He'll play in me. Be like four. My friends would just sit down to watch it. We have like the best time mind. You know, if I can watch more people I enjoy a better now. Dafur scher. It it it's tough because you know as you get older like everyone starts having their own schedule and whatnot. And it's kinda hard to, like sometimes watch stuff, and like actually, like get the chance to talk about it. So, but the tests that's great that, you know, you have factually in your fence. Find the time to do that. Okay. So the other thing that I wanted to get into is so you mentioned you did voice voice acting comedy and all those things. So I know you also have your own podcast called geeks in the city, right? Yes. I definitely do. Okay. So let's get into that and kind of talk about what that show is about and the origins of that, how that came up. So what? So let's just start from the beginning a what, so what exactly is the content of geeks city podcast. So, basically, the contents of Gibson cities gaming anime podcasts were basically a bunch of guys. Probably never known before talk about different games animation, like different shows. We all like one thing. I really like about it if that were all different. So we all bring different opinions. One of my partners. His name is ink pin. He's like completely into month so he's. Always brings the idea like you know the mangas always far above and things like that. And you know what I mean you should read this in light. There's so many different amount of books out there that people ever get into. And I have another friend, that's into I wanna say romantic anime, which I'm not the biggest fan of, but he's like, really passionate about in alpha light. Just hanging out with him for what I'm able to watch like a couple episodes. But I remember I got into it. I got the idea in it's crazy how blessings work, and things like that ATI. I do stand up comedy. So I was doing a show in a bunny minds work at radio station. And like I would always talk about how I wanted, like have some type of podcast, originally of, like I just wanted to have some type of podcast type of radio show, so literally, they had gotten a new station. It was like, hey, you know if he would like we will love you to, you know, have a, you know, do some shows and things like that, whatever you wanna do so I went through. The ideas, what was something that everybody was something that nobody's doing, right? There's always the people. Everybody has music interviews are common in the world. Right. I don't really see on radio at the very least on radio in my area lemon. You live in jersey. In in my air. They're not a lot of like radio podcasts that talks about anime in video games in general in this is like such big topic in the world because cub anime conventions exist gaming tournaments are huge in, you know what I feel like if I can start something up like this allow people in, I mean, can, you know, find the people to talk to in, like a, you know, conversely with people like like if you played blazed blue which the fighting game me and then you heard me talk about it. You know. I mean I'm like, hey, you know what I'm thinking about doing tournament in this area? Right. Welcome. You know, there's a chance that you'll be like, that's something that you look for that. You'll be like, hey, you know what I would love that? And, you know, as you know, as big for me, because my biggest thing, you know, playing video games, watching the enemy had I was very limited on the people. I could discuss discuss with a heck about two people in my life that can talk to about, and yeah, I was in. Unlike nobody knew played this game called persona. And if I can put a platform like literally like here where everybody comes together, we all in just because that's all we do. Just talk. We have fun. You know, we talk about different games are pains in the movie and things like that, and we want in a we wanna get people more involved into the world of enemy because it's a big where it's a big topic is, I feel like it's a lot of people overlook it, you know, when it comes to, you know, media, though should, you know, monas- media world has always below the music in celebrities, interviewing charred, politics, things like that. But the, the enemy world is huge like really who? So I got the opportunity got a room and things like that in the question was there from them was okay? Well, who do I started with? So I asked my friends, and they was like, yeah, sure. But the problem was is that they're not the best of. Liable people when it comes to tie. So I a buddy of is put the post out in literally like until you not in, like three days had like fifty people to be part of that wanted to be part of the gym, and I love. Oh man I love to drag about. Like I literally have to go through like fifty people, but I enjoy doing it 'cause there's fifty people these are fifty different individuals. Have they own outlook? They own opinions. Thanks that. And we've grown as a grown as group. Now, you know. My buddy Inc, pennies into the manga. That's his that's his thing bonds, another. That's my co host, right there. He plays like little play on the same JR produce and things like that. So it's really cool to have someone I can talk to on that level of my buddy biz of he's really into black clover. You know, the name biz Dan for of bleach note, black clover, each goes e which stands for bleach. Black clover in dragon, mosaic does his passions, his goal is to get more people in the black clover 'cause that's his favorite. Anime. Gear barra. One of my other friends. He's like, really like a big tech and phonetic plays all like a fight on fighting games. He's constantly trying to get more people to play fighting games allowed things like that to give people like a challenge Al of I mean, he's like I wanna say, like, the, the nonchalant senior group, had his opinions are always considered to be the opposite of what people would think which is what I love about him because, you know, even though we're not all agreeing, I understand his point of view. There are a lot of people were probably don't probably like the same thing. He always brings like the educational opinion to the things like that. So it's really cool as five months right now six of us. And every we, you know, we're on every Wednesday of the first month's and just to see his grow on, you know, all of our most of our information on mixed cloud and things like that 'cause we're partnered with Narcan fem but we're now joining south. Soundcloud bus Browde, a partly by the end of the February on my favorite memory first black history month. Bump Hon, a humble bundle. So so anyhow he'll be back with us next week. And so tonight's episode. The reason why I wanted to do emergency episode because we need everyone out there that is listening and watching right now, we need your help. And let us explain why it is the time of the year where pretty much every state, right? Yeah. Pretty much where the the the delegates get together. And they present they have at least in Virginia. They have forty five days this year. Yeah. We got their session generalists simply session coming in their general assembly session, where they have forty five days every day ver- consecutive forty five days to present new bills for the state thousands of bills. Right. I mean, a lot of them get shit canned lot of them get thrown out or they're even looked at. And then a lot of get of pass through right? Yeah. It's a tough process. And there are a lot a lot of good bills out this year that I I was. The other night. I was just going through all of them and a few of them on my Heli Alec that. But the one that we're going to discuss tonight is house Bill eighteen ninety four and why don't you first of all let me enter introduce yourself. Just Elliot's been on here before. But let's for those who haven't seen that episode tell everyone who your so, I'm Elliot Harding. I'm an attorney out of Charlottesville Albemarle county areas. Central Virginia do a lot of different types of litigation a lot of criminal defense work. But through my work over the past two years have been pulled into a lot of cases involving dog owners and various cases, whether it's ones were dogs got bit dogs by people, but dogs by other dogs dogs. Get injured maybe a dog had a bad issue at a vet maybe dog got stolen tons of different stuff involving dogs. So that's kinda unique little niche of practice a stumbled on and. Then something was four years ago with Nico tell us that story because in all reality. That's how this Bill is even coming to light like you or I don't think most people realize this your the man behind HP eighteen ninety four for the most part. I gotta give a lot of credit to delegate Michael Weber. Of course, of course, he is the vehicle for this Bill. If it wasn't for him this Bill wouldn't be going through. But I will give a little story about Nico not going any. Now, you're good..

"Came in. And he was performing any was singing singing for us or something? I mean bodies really the dead because what would the age difference? Proxima B, Bradley. Yeah. Twenty years. So. Could be. Why did Bradley's version of Jackson speak in the way that he does with that kind of deep draw think he'd just the decide do that that lip of heard Bradley big to quite a bit? But I'm not sure that him the one to speak to I think that he felt like because they were brothers issued have a similar tone in their voice. You can go. It wasn't gonna go that wasn't gonna be. Bullshit me. Right. But the other thing is is I think that he just he copied the voice. Now when he says to he's he says, you know in that again in that first scene where they're talking about the dad and their head to head. He says, you know, he's never had a voice, but you can fuck a right? Didn't have anything to say this to out the that's it's brutal. Brutal. New York Times review that you referred to earlier. They did have that one comment, but they fought it very quickly with the following quote in one of the finest scenes, Bobby just wordlessly drives away from Jack. And Mr. Elliot, let you see the ferocity of the brothers love, and they're paying in is that have begun to water in a stone face that will shatter close quote talk about that was gonna be one of the most emotionally demanding scenes. I don't know how many takes you just one. It's pretty to the first two where do you go mentally to seem like this? Yeah. And it was the end of that arc was in that beautiful art between the brothers that you know, it was really just mortar throughout this incredible tale. It was Gog on Bradley on that credible. Read. They went on all that brilliant music along the way all those other supporting people along the way. And it was just the final stages of that whole thing. I know, but we do get to see you again. Because somebody who I think you've maybe came to know as Stephanie right or maybe that I don't know. It sounds like that's how you referred to her lady Gaga where the scene basically at the end on the floor dealing with the picking up the pieces. What did you make of working with her again like share very unconventional performer? I would guess both in a fit like a newer. But it was from afar, it was until you know, we got to work in a hotel room when day NS are coming and going. Yeah. So I didn't really know her will. And that scene in the script was originally and redux clay. It was the dad come into comfort the daughter, which meant total sense story was that wrapped on the film. I rep the day that we did that Shane driveway. I got a text out of the blue. But a weekly. Ter- from Bradley. We texted a lot where we're doing film or prior to most of but during a little bit, including when I looked like you want to be able to exactly that was that was an awful period. When I didn't I really there was a moment when I said that can't do because the ranch was not gonna relationship they weren't gonna let me, and and they were going to cello and own it was that opening sequence that I started with that was my first day work magin how clear doing it in a parking lot at the Greek theater. How can just surrounded it with trailers? And people I walked in there men. I didn't know a soul. Good knew. There was Bradley barely knew Bradley, and there was fucking lady Gaga. But isn't that amazing how life I mean came that close? I don't know. How Bradley got help to finagle it? So that you didn't have mugger lectu, Royal tips. I'm not gonna let you go. The next day. "B. Hi, hi. Thank everybody wants to do. Standing. Well, let's be fair. Altering reality of one fashion or another is as old as man. In one fashion or another whether mushrooms play ODI, or or Mead or or beer or any other alcohol altering one's reality through some kind of drug is old as mankind. I mean, it's been around forever and the desire to alter one's reality in this culture is particularly profound and we've talked about my analysis as to why I believe that's happening. And I think that there's I think there's value that analysis, but yeah, I as I would feel no danger whatsoever. Knowing that my next door neighbor had a rocket launcher in his basement because my next door neighbor's responsible human being and law-abiding and would not use. The thing are to be perturbed at me. If I feel the cut my lawn in time, for example, but there are people who don't have the will necessary or the told this is just alter your reality just a little bit and you'll be really good with it. And they ended up overdosing on on heroin or overdosing an opium or or any of the other illegal drugs and. You're not going to shut off the flow of illegal drugs in this country and shut off the demand the demand. Weren't there? The drugs wouldn't be there. It's really a pretty straightforward equation. Liz agree disagree. I think addiction is a very complicated issue. I think it's exacerbated quite quite a lot in the last several years. I have some friends who have a dictionary shoes and have overdose as well. So it's sort of like a soft spot for me. But what's happening now is it's all related to the economy. I think when you have whole generations of people out of the workforce who feel absolute depression. It's like one thing that leads to another. You know, you meet people especially out in the more suburban rural areas that grandparents are now having to adopt their grandchildren because that middle generation. Yeah. Thanks. I appreciate sports bit further with because. That's that's not quite how I see it. Right. I think you have to go one step further apart of my disinterest in that kind of thing is because I dad and a strong nuclear family. I was the son in a strong nuclear family a little both my parents had issues. I don't think that there are many of us in the world who can say my parents were perfect. I mean, every every human being has issues of one firm and other my parents, my mom was an alcoholic and part of it is that I realized that I have that potential as we always have to be aware of that. I have that addictive personality potential, and however, I'm not particularly tempted by cocaine and marijuana or I mean there there's no charm there for me, I actually kinda like reality. So I'm disinclined to use it. If you take a look historically during the great depression. There was not an uptick in alcohol deaths or other illegal drug deaths because during the great depression people still hits. Strong nuclear families. And I think that's actually we're part of part of the problem lies is with a lot of folks in the culture who no longer have that that that has been eliminated by the political left whether deliberately right? So that the state will take care of you. Well, the state is not competent at doing that. And because of that they end up wanting to alter that reality because they don't like their reality very much. I agree. And then ultimately speaking it's about creating chaos and allowing chaos to exacerbate. And that's what they're having. All right back to the phones. Dave is in Perry hall. Dave good morning. Thanks for hanging on Bruce. I wanted to mention to you several of my my friends and neighbors have suggested that perhaps they should consider constructing a barrier wall as a practice will you know, around Baltimore City. Yeah. Simply simply to keep the outsiders out because we care so much about. Look, it should be mentioned at least without. So we don't just dwell on one top for the entire Dave. Data. But apparently now have once again, a a new nominated police Commissioner, which is the guy who never applied for the job. I'm not quite sure how that occurred that a guy who didn't want the job is now the mayor's nominee again. I wish each of these individuals the best of luck. Why hasn't there been one that has an impact I think on whether people? Think that this is something that is for them. I mean, I see my is another friends and the joke is it's like, okay.
