"I understand why you regret it, but like in that moment I completely get that. Style Said Gossiping I must have just think of the stories I would have had from that evening hanging out with Willie Nelson in the tour bus. Carry me through the rest of my life. I would be much more interesting. Human being people would want to be around me a lot more if I had that story in my back pocket that I could just boom drop on the table every once in a while, cody, what do you think happens in the Willie Nelson tour bus? Questioning that, I think. On the willing beyond beyond. Beyond the consumption of the drug US I mean. We'll else's cool, but like you're working. You know what I'm saying. I get that there was there was. That element is welcome. Thank you for bringing that up. I was on the clock. I was being paid interview. These musicians right even if I would have been off the clock, technically by the time I would've. Mosey my way down to the tour bus and. Knocked on the door. Probably would have been bad optics. Right and I wanted to be invited back. I wanted to host that event next year if it was back in town, right? Didn't happen so again. I still feel like this was a missed opportunity. I'm wondering what the listeners out there think like did I did I screw up royally by not? Quick pull indulging in poll. Put It on Paul. If you added cheers to smoke weed with Willie Nelson. Would you turn it down I? Don't know if we need to go that far. Sorting you said. Location of hanging out with Willie includes the what you mentioned. Yeah I mean cody. What's up? The spot they don't want to be in is sure I. Accept Your invitation I would love to come to your tour bus and hang out, but then pass on that stuff, so you made the right call that if you're just not gonNA. If you'RE NOT GONNA partake in the best. Going on then you need to just decline the invitation because you don't want to be in Willie. Nelson's trailer and being like up. No, thank you. This is a hot. Potato what's up billy. And it is cool if you go and Willey isn't there and you're just stuck with Lucas and his friend. Author Excellent Point and that's why asked about this rope adult move. If this is some way to draw people in, and then you're hanging out all night. Oh, willies, come! Willie's killed me is Willie. I don't see what it. Really is well. We're hot, so forget about it. You know what I'm saying. That's the worst case scenario is that you don't even get to see Willy. You're all burned out at your job with so side Nelson that you just met that day. Siam smart decisions, the same I think I'm hearing is that I needed to whip out a contract that said I will partake in your. I will accept your little invitation. Partake in your little party, assuming that the elder Nelson arrives eminently, and if he does not, then I am well within my right to step lately out of your tour bus and be fine with my decision to do so. Correct and you know how we say that in the black community Mr Cody..

Has you covered for mixed martial arts? Joe Rogan is the most important inland. Serve you all fighting broken down like nowhere else only on Sirius. Xm Channel One fifty six one helvin interview. Bully with cody. Rhodes yes it. Was YOU SWEAT HOG? Swag was even the worst of it all. But it was my. You're now sweat hog. I might just call you a whore shack for the for the for the rest of it. Only that I'm on this show but just in general you are now horseback. Ooh What's the counter? Mr The bully. Ray Who Mr Cody. Blue Mr Cody. Will you please like me? Mr Cody Mr Cody. I WANNA be your best friend Mr Cody. And then he goes on to Berry Berry three times in the interview which was awesome because to see the look on your face as he sleighs just throwing dirt on you know it was fine to the Star Wars. Come on I mean I like Star Wars as as the next guy but Jeez Louise you know. Find a hobby. Wow Look at you bury. Why didn't you say that when he was on the Air I think I did? I mean the fact that kept throwing out jar jar big knowing that gets under his skin yet. You telling cody to find a hobby like you would never have the cuts hoti that to him when he was on. I can just picture the Lord Right now after your that. They are going to be tweeting. Cody Cody did you hear what league-record said about you he told you to find a hobby cody's clear is gonNA wind up blowing up later because the nation's going to be ratting you out and they should they know what's going to happen is. I'M GONNA get a bunch of tweets. About how a w mark because we actually had cody on this show and I was talking about the championship tour. You know how social media is when I talk good about the wwe. I'm a WWE homer. That's always the quote homer and then when I talk a e W I'm an eighty w mark proud of it. I love them both so I can't wait for that rogue one watch a long. Oh my God. How many jar jar binks digs? I can make during the course of that movie. He might teach you up. No social distancing. My friend not going to happen anytime soon. He he can reach. I'm sure you can reach that weight belt. Hate juicy dark side of the ring last night yes I did. I actually started the show talking about dark side of the ring. It was tough for me to watch. Obviously not in the same way as week one was or even week two of dark signing but Broth for all was something. I absolutely despised When it took place so it was. I wasn't looking forward to watching the show last night because of how many bad memories I have of that tournament but watching it. It was a really really good episode. And I'm really looking forward to talking to Vince. Russo tomorrow about it as well because when you look at that feud between core net and Vince Russo. I've always been on the side of that. You Know Cornet takes a little bit too far but I kinda was cheering on. Jim Cornet watching that episode. Last night I gotta be honest with you. You know it seems like every time Rousseau's name comes up people. Want to Bash Vince or have something negative to say. We've had vince on the show. A couple of times and it's always very positive conversation and fans actually take the social media and they say wow. I really enjoyed Vince on busted open. I liked the conversation. Vince has had a lot of good ideas. He had a couple of ideas. That weren't so good but I wanted to ask you about how the perception of venture so was last night when that show was over. Were you thinking highly adventure? Show you thinking poorly of him. And what are the words that? Come to the top of your mind after watching Vince on that show last night. Just that he wasn't he's not passionate and he doesn't have a love for pro wrestling. That's how that's how he came across like he's started that whole brawl for all to as like a slap in the face to jbl like he's using his power and his TV. I guess kind of like you know for just to get a point across to somebody like and that's never something that's positive thing to do. But imagine bully. We had a producer on this show. That said like when you and I are having a passionate conversation or we wanted to an a-list guests for the show or are we are Twenty four seven when it comes to the show imagine if we had a producer guys easy take. This is this is pro wrestling. Show why you guys making such a big deal about everything. It's just a pro wrestling show like we would want to slap that guy in the face. We would probably want to knock that person out because this show is important to us. It's important to the people who watch it and it's not only a passion but it's something that's very very important in our daily lives. And that's how Vince Russo. Came across like him. Say Come on Bro. It's it's pro wrestling like almost like we. We're used to hearing that from the outsiders not from somebody who's actually on the inside working in pro wrestling that makes into here. Russo coronet left that voicemail and then Rousseau turns around just like you said and go come on Bro. It's just pro wrestling. None of the brawl for all was pro wrestling. None of that had to do with pro wrestling. That wasn't entertainment and it wasn't even really sport. It was done to satiate one guy's vendetta against JBL and it wound up ruining a lot of dies careers in one way shape or form. Nothing positive came out of the borough for all and as Jr. Nobody dot over. And I was looking for some kind of remorse from venture show and at the end at the very end when I thought I was going to get it. I got the remorse in the form of. Oh well if I would've known then what I know now about Ct. I would've never let this gone on and I was just like holy crap. Does this guy not realize how many performers athletes wrestlers lives were affected by this idea that was born out of your hatred because jpl was a Dick Backstage? So why didn't you handle it backstage with? Jbl Why did you have to put everybody else in this predicament? And you know what Rousseau is GonNa do Rousseau's GonNa blame Vince McMahon and he's GonNa say well Vince. Could've the idea down anytime you wanted to. And that's a very easy excuse to fall back on so I'm really interested in talking to Rousseau tomorrow. I've been friends adventure so for a long time. This conversation is not gonna be that friendly. Let's put it that way. Thanks for listening catches Monday through Saturday. I'm busted open from nine. "The magic heavy. It is a good counterpoint. You know and he does not disprove magic in this blog. Post air go exactly lobbies good so that should. He should've talked to me because clearly he hasn't considered all sides to this. Yeah he did not he did. Not You consider all things yes much like a radio radio. Show that I've forgotten the name all the every every little bit of The information is being thought of. Yeah yeah this show to see. Both sides of an issue both aside that says literally the only way to have gotten these objects as massive theft and the funding of international terrorist organizations and the side that says but Jesus the sides yeah. Msn Magic and sort of trail off so case closed trail off. And that's really how you know. You've won the argument when you sort of trail off I love trailing yea it's like hiking trails are good exactly pick one doesn't matter and you just keep going and going and then slow down and then you sort of you know and then you yes the UN. How do you feel about hobby lobby after all this there on my favorite place rows if I were to get I mean I'm always aroused so thank you not really you know. That's why we have you on the show. Exactly that's why that's why I come on the show band I if I were to get a knickknack if I were to it like being the business of knickknacks I probably would go to a different place. I think I were in the business of knickknacks. I would just patty wack and then give a dog a bone but I mean you know different strokes. You know different strokes for different old men who come. I'm rolling on Who are constantly aroused on podcasts? Yes interestingly I some fan out there needs to graph the amount of times we may may come jokes When it's just you and I and and when we have our third in here I think we make less call her by her name? I might I might make more actually because I know that she hates the word. Come so I say the word gum. Yeah and now we are upping our quotient and at the end of the episode. Exactly and earlier we're talking about almost I almost referenced the come and go That chain of gas but I held back But here we are saying now I love it when regions have a thing that is clearly like everyone. Outside of that region knows that the name is hilarious like they come and go or like the game corn hauling which is played in certain parts of this country. That just are like no. It's just this game we all play. What is what is funny and everyone everyone else is like what have you I miss? Oh yeah we we all miss. This would not be happening eighty. We're here. We would start with. Hitler probably wouldn't come no in we would have. We would figure it out. A solution to the hobby lobby pro- problem. Katie would have like ridden ridden into their offices on a sea of blood with a sword made out of cultural antiquities and beheaded David Greene in in order to bring peace and tranquility to the kingdom once again. Yeah she would've put out here and so we just have come jokes just voices in the air instead of feet on the ground. That's that's the the difference. That's the case you know. We all Miss Kay. When does the museum open That's a good question. Cody let's ask the Almighty L. Gook he didn't like that all right L. Google fan it opens ten. Am Saturday it's open now. Yeah grand opening tomorrow. Okay it's open it's open right now. Oh let's go four hundred thirty thousand square feet that's very leaping. That's really big. It's got a great view. It's got a beautiful view of Capitol Hill which they seek to dominate some big. That's a big step up from that Three hundred three hundred original tiny picture frame. They sell tiny picture frames and the Museum of the Bible. They'd better they'd better have tiny picture frames and that gift shop much of Styrofoam Cox and stuff. I mean one of the things that is At least amusing to me is that on the Museum of the Bible page. Their logo is clearly supposed to be like. It's a be on its back so it also kind of looks like the Ten Commandments. We're an open book but more than anything. It looks like Hell. Yeah yeah that's good. That's good I think we're GONNA win. Yeah Yeah we're yes we we have all the power now. I really doomed. We have four. I realize their logo kind of resembles a button. Yeah and now I realize is that victory is inevitable. Yeah days from now from us on too long sir. You know what's not going on too long cody's plug ables. Sure they go very short. "To get you started save water save money and have a beautiful climate appropriate yard learn more at LADWP dot com slash landscaping. it would that be who've the Trojans Mr Cody do not let Washington score on this next drive because they get the ball out of the locker room to start the second half as well so this is one of those legendary to possession possessions yes this is always. what you want for your defense to stop the work so but that definitely on this occasion even more so because they'll get the ball back George is that a good job last time on defense. she was pinned up against the goal line Marla to follow through with a big play and able to stop Washington on third down to give them the short field this time and USC was able to. methodically March thirty nine yards of total places or touched off of five minutes and forty one seconds ago thirty nine or like a covered wagon. so the kick off from the twenty. for Michael brown. and the return manner standing around the fifteen including the group the new year man. take a class of the farm and and it'll be McGrew. already at the twenty yard line thirty thirty five hit hard they're stays on his feet and worked his way up to the forty the forty one. well you got to be careful that tackle it was made there at the end we picked them up and threw down to the ground you know that's a penalty sometimes at temple to her these days people that really hurt. I think the referees got it you know learn when they charge fifteen yards for a personal file their. simply celebrating with these guys didn't deserve a fifteen yard penalty and that really changes this drive for the defense of the offense of really too much outcome is given based on real flags from a from a rough looking almost exactly fifteen yards different if you would have taken a. cover the end zone you get the tough back in the twenty five is that your the forty forty and a half. pretty good field position for Washington. play action fake bootleg right he said in trouble being chased close it underneath looking for Kate aton. and closer to speak in complete cotton's grandpa said was a coach at Tumwater high school for forty three years.

"Thank Carol raw joins me all the way in from Chicago were the only two people in the area, probably bears fans, but here we are there down Joe, they're down they're down. I think were texting each other after the bears playoff loss to the eagles where it hit the and the crying. Is. They let him go. They did they did. And they actually they brought on a few new potential kickers. One of them's name last name was blue. It's no, you're gonna find this hard to believe, but blue it's fluid he did. And he is no longer inconsideration, who's next Scott Norwood's. I mean. Ever went still holding out for Robbie Gould's a comeback. Yes. Forty Niners where he wants? He wants to spend more time with his family as Chicago. So let's make it happen. Not to turn this into a sports show completely, but feel kickers I would put a lot of money into the really, really reliable once because they can make or break your whole season or even cost you a Super Bowl as we've seen. Absolutely. They're the type of people that can endure with a franchise for really long time. You know they can go into their forties. Right. Gould is around forty. So, yeah, I, I don't mind that you have something that's automatic or the closest thing to it. Hold onto it. Well, the worst thing is that Mr. Cody, the gentlemen, who Cody park, yes, who blew it. You know, he wasn't practicing on some of those games that he, he wasn't out there. I mean if your job is to be the kicker. And that's your only job you're out there. The only thing that you do over and over and over and over again. I mean, this is not difficult. These millennials all tell you exactly similar deals anyway. Well talk about President Trump's ABC interview with George Stephanopoulos, so this was. Presented as a special at twenty twenty special call thirty hours. I can I wanna call him George Snuffle up again because episode we're Jennifer Aniston could rate her character. She could get out of her mind that he was Snuffle up against from Sesame Street. All right. Yeah. So he's always going to be George Neville against to me. Then they introduced like this. Papadopoulos, guy who was involved. There's yeah, there's too many Greeks. So anyway, Stephanopolous in this interview. And it generates all sorts of news, particularly when the president had this exchange with the former Clinton adviser didn't answer questions on struck..

"A gut punch any fan of any team knows those types of losses. Those ones that you'll remember ten twenty thirty years from now by a singular name, and even though Trayvon has their tip to that kick replays ended up showing and it hit the left upright, and then the crossbar. It's the eleventh Mr. Cody parkey season hit a game where he hit the upright four times in a game. There's no chance will be a bear next year. That'll be remembered in Chicago forever as the Cody parkey game and get an over those types of wasps hurts man, it doesn't matter. How bright the future is that the rookie quarterback balled out in the fourth quarter and took a tremendous leap this year that the head coach brought fun back to bears football that they got the best defense in the NFL, and they all return next year. None of that matters. Now when it ends like that in the blink of an eye because you hit damn upright again. We will get to more of your calls on a crazy wild card weekend. But everyone always says defense wins championships. It's an old football cliche. And. I've been pushing against that a lot this year. Partly because of the Rams partly because of the chiefs, but largely just because of the rules like it seemed to me to be pretty clear that the NFL had legislated the game in favor of the offense. Right. You can't make the same type of contact with the receivers they get off the line of scrimmage. The head hunting safety has been abolished from the sport of football. So it's easier than ever to get off the line. It's easier than ever to go over the middle. Roughing the passer penalties way up if they want to protect the quarterback. They want to keep the quarterbacks healthy helmet. The helmet contact. All the rule changes. We saw record setting number points. We saw record setting number touchdown passes. We had a fifty four fifty one game. It seemed like the idea of defense winning championships was a thing of the past not that it couldn't win a championship. But just that you couldn't have a dominant defense in twenty nineteen given the rules that were there. And it seemed like it was all calculated. So and it's in fairly obvious to me because of the rules changes and that it was motivated by business. They said it was player safety, but more points means higher ratings because it means more casual fans that are interested in a game more fantasy points more people enjoying football. And it was a great season of football. Wildly entertaining. Ratings up across the board way. Less talk about is this a catcher, not a catch. Even though there's always going to be some controversy with referees. That was way down. New star young quarterbacks emerging onto the scene. Your MVP debate is between drew Brees who the most passing yards ever and first ballot hall of Famer and a guy in his first year starting in the NFL in Patna home second year in the league first year as a full time starter seems like a passing of the torch type of year. It's just been a wildly entertaining. Exciting game an exciting season. And then here are the scores of wild card weekend. Sixteen. Fifteen eagles over bears Twenty-three seventeen chargers. Over ravens twenty four twenty two Cowboys oversee hawks twenty one seven colts over Texans. Three best defenses in the NFL this year. Bears. Ravens cowboys. Ravens get eliminated bears get eliminated Cowboys advance. But eagles defence looked good. Chargers. Defense looks good colts defensive in the number one defense in the NFL the last ten weeks. They just started awful dairies, Leonard an absolute stud first team all pros a rookie. Get somehow didn't make the Pro Bowl team figure that one out. So I don't really know what happened. Other than maybe we just totally underestimated the caliber of defensive coaching in the NFL. How do we go from the first ten twelve weeks? Record-setting numbers across the board to those be the scores wild card weekend. And we saw with the bears defense into the Rams that fifteen to six game. We saw at the Cowboys did to the saints. We just saw these great. We saw with the ravens did to the chargers in the regular season. What was that game? Twenty to ten chargers. Got him today. We'll get to that game in more detail a little bit later, but. What a crazy thing. That all of a sudden when I look at it next week eagles saints. I think the saints are going to blow him out because it's in the Superdome. But the saints the last month of the season. Didn't look quite right last five weeks of the season. Didn't really look like they got Michael Thomas. They got Alvin Kamara, but they're more of a running team than a passing team. With Ingram and Camara out of the backfield. It's weird. They don't seem as dominant to the favorites. But they don't seem as dominant. We know what the Cowboys front seven can do. I think I'm picking the Cowboys over the Rams next week certainly based on what they did to the saints, and they will really good defensively at least against Seattle colts defense is remarkable. Like, we talked about I think that chiefs colts game has instant classic written all over it. And I picked the chargers to go to the Super Bowl before the season. I think this team is. Certainly a shell of itself. It's crazy that this pats team got buy by the tenth best patriots team of my lifetime. And they got a buy in the AFC playoffs. But it's weird. Like if you had to bet right now. Will a great offense win the Super Bowl but chiefs or saints or a great defense when the Super Bowl like colts or Cowboys. I guess I'd take the offense. But that's only because of home field advantage, if not necessarily because of how footballs been going the last five six weeks, so weird thing, and I know old school football people love the idea of the game is won in the trenches at the line of scrimmage and defense wins championships. I'm like, I'm fine with that. I always say, I just love football. I'll watch a nine six Steelers ravens game with Troy Paula Malo in read and love it. Or I'll watch chiefs Rams fifty four fifty one and I'm happy with any as long as it's high level football. I'm here for the legion of boom Seahawks or the two thousand eighteen bears or I'm here for the greatest show on turf or the oh seven patriots. Like, I just love high level football. Whatever and always said defense wins championships. Top five teams defense make the playoffs. Make the Super Bowl. Okay. We'll see. I thought that that'd be legislated out of the game. And I don't have a great answer for you. As to why this happened 'cause it's not all cold weather people. Keep saying, it's you know, when the calendar turns the December January that's when you got to run the ball play defense. Okay. We'll Dallas did that to New Orleans in Dallas in a dome. How do you explain that one? I just don't think it's all weather, but the colts did to the Texans was in dome in Houston. Was forty degrees on the lakefront today in Chicago sixteen fifteen game, plenty of good weather for offense of football. It's just been weird. I ten weeks of the season. You would have never thought you'd see these wild card weekend scores. And so I don't really know what to do with it anymore. In terms of what I expect to be. They're going forward. Eight five five two one two four two two seven is we post mortem the bare season recap wild card weekend. Let's. Let's go to Ohio and welcome Geoff to CBS sports radio. Jeff, you're on the Dante Parkin show. Thanks for calling man. Thank you. Honor to be on. We're park. He why do you think Cleveland got rid of them? Warming. He's miracle to two years ago. He missed field goals. And then what he did. It was a devastating loss. I feel for you. Guys. Khalil Mack on the bench head down. You know? It's not about the money and just wants to win. Yeah. And it's gonna be patriots and fairly smart pick sweeper ball. Good night. Thank you. All right, man. Thanks for calling. I feel bad for Khalil Mack. And all of them. Tough game. You put it all in. Ends in an instant. And it's just crazy like joking around about removing kickers from the game. Earlier put. Is it crazy? That. Just freak of nature. Unbelievable athlete. One of the best defensive players that I've ever seen in person. Make the list is Aaron Donald J J watt Khalil Mack. That's the list for best defensive players in the NFL. And those are all time defensive players. It's not hyperbole. A prisoner of the moment. Like J J watt. It's him and Lawrence Taylor. In terms of guys who have won defensive player of the year as many times as they have Aaron Donald this year set the single season record for sacks for an interior defensive linemen. And Khalil Mack. What five years into the NFL? He's been first team all pro three times. At Ed at edge and outside linebacker defensive end and outside linebacker. He is a monster. And Cody Parke's the reason he's going home. I know it's a team game. And it's a fairly obvious observation talk about two people who could not be more different Cody party and Khalil Mack. I'm much more interested in one than the other. Let's go to Minnesota and welcome Tyler CBS sports radio. Tyler thanks for calling me on any good, buddy. A longtime listener first-time caller say just man that I couldn't have been any anywhere. You've got obviously the best defense in the NFL comes down to a tiny little ticker that you know, you just you have zero confidence. And I don't know why they don't go for it. There. I go for it. Where? Right. I mean, if you have your confidence in your kicker, you know. Tried our hardest stream it down into in the end of their play prayed away might that. Other caller said. Wait, listen, when it's when there's no time left on the clock. And you're down sixteen fifteen. I was I have no faith in Cody parkey either. But he's got a better shot of making that kick you'd made three kicks earlier in the game than you do of a, you know. Three hour hail Mary or whatever it would have been. Yeah. But I mean, I mean living here in Minnesota. I know you know, I've got a bunch a Vikings fan. I always said being a bears fan. You know, that's not going to happen to our parents. You know, they've got. They've got too much talent. I was actually at that Blair Walsh see playoff game a couple of years ago. I was actually at that game in the stands sitting with a bunch of Vikings fans and mean the devastation on their on their faces leading out. I can't imagine. What it's like like there at Soldier Field tonight. There's just there's no words. It's it's the worst. Yeah. It was brutal, man. And you know, the thing is and I appreciate the call. World crazy. We're all we all just need to admit it to ourselves when it comes to sports. I'm so crazy about sports that I.

"Losses. That'll be remembered in Chicago forever is the Cody parkey game and get an over those types of losses hurts, man. It doesn't matter. How bright the future is? That the rookie quarterback balled out in the fourth quarter and took a tremendous leap this year. But the head coach brought fun back to bears football that they got the best defense in the NFL, and they all return next year. Right. You can't make the same type of contact with receivers. They get off the line of scrimmage. The head hunting safety has been abolished from the sport of football. So it's easier than ever to get off the line. It's easier than ever to go over the middle. Roughing the passer penalties way up. They want to protect the quarterbacks. They want to keep the quarterbacks healthy helmet-to-helmet, contact all the rule changes. We saw record setting number points record setting number touchdown passes. Had a fifty four fifty one game. It seemed like the idea of defense winning championships was a thing of the past not that it couldn't win a championship. But just that you couldn't have a dominant defense in twenty nineteen given the rules that were air, and it was all calculated. So, and it seems fairly obvious to me because of the rules changes and that it was motivated by business. Your MVP debate is between drew Brees who has the most passing yards ever in a first ballot hall of Famer and a guy in his first year starting in the NFL in Patna home second year in the league first year as a full time starter seems like a passing of the torch type of year. Chargers. Defense looked good colts defensive in the number one defense in the NFL the last ten weeks. They just started awful dairies, Leonard an absolute stud first team all pros a rookie yet. Somehow didn't make the Pro Bowl team figured out one out. I don't really know what happened. Other than maybe we just totally underestimated the caliber of defensive coaching in the NFL. How do we go from the first ten twelve weeks? Record-setting numbers across the board to those v the scores wild card weekend. And we saw what the bears defense did to the Rams that fifteen to six game. We saw at the Cowboys did to the saints. We just saw these great. We saw with the ravens into the chargers in the regular season. What was that game? Twenty two to ten chargers. Got him today. We'll get to that game in more detail a little bit later, but. What a crazy thing. That all of a sudden like when I look at it next week eagles saints. I think the saints are going to blow out because it's in the Superdome. But the saints the last month of the season. Didn't look quite right last five weeks of the season. Didn't really look like the saints got Michael Thomas. They got Alvin Kamara, but they're more of a running team than a passing team. With Ingram and Camara out of the backfield. It's weird. They don't seem as dominant to the favorites. But they don't seem as dominant. We know what the Cowboys front seven can do. I'm here for the legion of boom Seahawks or the twentieth. Eighteen bears or I'm here for the greatest show on turf or the oh seven patriots. We're gonna talk about how the president is just in baby tantrum mode. We're gonna talk about how FOX is just giving the Democrats the two thousand twenty game plan and just our opinions my opinion on what the Democrats need to do for twenty twenty and just over the next couple years of this presidency. While also talk about the recounts, if we have time, maybe we'll talk about Jim Acosta who knows we'll also talk about MTV just getting so thirsty. They're taking it back to spring break and love. Finally, we are going to talk about Buchan Trumpy bear try, and there's also a conspiracy there the conspiracy music may be rolled out multiple times to species abound. Most of them about this big dick toilet. Well. We'll get into it. Cody first of all what is something from your search history. That's revealing about who you are. I was so I was going to do the most recent thing 'cause I could talk about like Minecraft all day. We don't need to do that. Only play really the only game you play pretty much. Okay. I'm going to do man. Probably soon. I would do Spiderman. I've heard. Yeah. You wanna you wanna start doing Spiderman, but like my go-to yet? Something I actually Google often. And it's always unsuccessful is combinations of the words. Hitler, and China and Japan, and quote, there's a quote, I'm trying to find the I remember one of your favorite one of my one of my really favorite Hitler quotes. So there's a quote that I can't remember for the life of me. And it's something along the lines when he's talking about like, diversity and multiculturalism and how it's bad. And how like I just think that you know, if you're in Germany like, I'm not like a racist. I'm just saying like, yeah. Chinese people stay in China, and you stay here, and we all have our little countries. Okay. And it's one of those things where like I want to point to it who say that often. That's a that's a thing that people say a lot now. Right. And I can't find it. And no matter what combination of words, I type into Google. It's doesn't happen. "Now, we'll have to wait and see if that really happens. But I think it's definitely a definitely potential for that. And now onto my streaming defense. There's no quarterbacks no tight ends that I have for pick ups this week. I've been on a pretty good streak with with streaming defenses. Now, we threw out to last week the jets defense, which didn't work out, obviously. But we also really liked the chargers defense which really well against Oakland. You know, the week before forget who was it was Buffalo's defense that I really liked. And then I had Buffalo's defense in one league this this week as well. So I've done really wealthy streaming defenses. Believe on this week. I really liked the cardinals defense against the Oakland Raiders. Now, the Oakland Raiders are the perfect team to target because they're still not quite at that. Bottoming out point in terms of perception, like the jets are now or the bills where people you know, that that don't watch football aren't don't fall football as closely as we do a lot of people still look at the raiders. And they think oh, they got a decent offense. The raiders have one of the worst offensive lines. The NFL they are in the bottom. Ten in sacks allowed the cardinals. Come in the top ten in terms of most sacks defense gets a ton of Saxe there at home against the raiders. And the raiders have just joined Nelson is injured this week. He might not play. There's not much at all to like for the raiders in terms of their offense. So I love the cardinals their own fifteen percent of leagues and you have the. Ravens who are available on a lease. They're unbiased week. A lot of people are going to offer. The ravens I love the cardinals this week. I think it's a good one. Obviously you wanna target. And defense playing the raiders at this point. They just don't have enough weapons to to be competitive. But I want I want you set the give me a streaming kicker this week. Okay. I found asking me to. Yes. Immedi give you a stream kicker. I mean, I I literally there's no thought process goes into me picking kicker 'cause whenever I over think it they get they they get negative one. Like, they did you this week. I actually got negative to thanks to Mr. Cody parkey. So everyone else who's trying to get a kicker who's on a good offense at sometime stalls out. Cody parkey two field goals,.

"The two thousand eighteen ironman multiple on champion. Mr. Cody bills. You know, it's interesting, I was just interviewing Sebastian keenly recently. And we were talking about Lionel. And he goes the hard thing about racing Lyle is a lot of other guys if you get away from them a little bit they'll give up because they figure well second place is good enough. And the racing the win or the racing for money goes he goes, I have the impression because he had raised him at this race called summer and the challenge championships, right? Yeah. And he said that here Lionel got away from him and Lionel's coming towards the finish line. And they're going directions Lionel's heading towards the finish line. And savvy goes I'm I'm I'm a quarter mile back. I'm not catching him, and he goes line is going as hard as he possibly can. It wasn't like wasn't about winning at that point wasn't about money. It was just about pushing himself to the two as far as he could to get dig as deep inside himself to potentially hurt himself go as hard as he possibly could. And that's why he's out there to test himself every single day and says, you don't beat somebody like that. You don't you don't you? You can't get there's no mind games. You can play with a guy like that. You just stay away. When you can I agree with you. I think like I said earlier in the conversation his mental game. I think one of the best. So far he's come with. That wasn't always like this. And maybe had more insight into his career two hundred people. Yes. And it's been amazing to watch them develop to that kind of that. But I also think there's kind of a superhuman mystique around and we'd like, wow. And I'm guilty of buying into myself. Sometimes like my my knee. My knee jerk reaction of being really depressed. I I heard he was racing mantra, and blah, you know, he's still he's still a human athlete is not a freak of nature or anything like that. He is beatable. He's just extremely consistent dominant. Very tough guy to beat. And also got mentality pushing yourself to the brink every single race. That's definitely could be respected and on sparring. But also, you know where to caution on that. We've seen other athletes have the mentality throughout their career and perhaps burn out prematurely. Yep. Single anyone out. But there's no reason especially in an iron, man. And maybe it's a different story in shorter races. There's no reason to utterly faster. So win an ironman by an even bigger margin. Right. I kind bind to the school of thought that we might only have a finite number of truly all Armando performances in their body and mind over their entire lifetime. So there's no need to start cashing those end needlessly. If you don't need to go there. You know, what's fascinating about that. That's been one of my arguments for this whole validation process that you know, people have to qualify back in the day. Mark ellen. Dave, Scott didn't qualify to go to Kona they were invited and around the world stage and tasha Bodman Karen Smyers and a lot of our airmen champions. They weren't invited. They weren't they they didn't have to go. If they were a champion. They didn't have to go validate and go do another full ironman, and they didn't have to go and travel the world and potentially do three or four to get tacona. And to me, I think that can shortened people's careers and. If you have these amazing athletes like Lionel or whoever happened, the PJ cups Pete Jacobs between the age of twenty one and thirty one. I think he did thirty five minutes. Great example. Yeah. You just can't do that your body's going to break down Craig Alexander. We saw you talk about not just performances but world class performances in two thousand eleven he won seventy point three world founded up a month later by notches winning. And but breaking the course record and going eight oh three. And then that's when they instituted the whole thing where even ironman champions got the quote, unquote, validate and go to another airman. So if Craig's going to do an man he's going to go, and he's he's not gonna go just try to finish the thing and fifteen hours he's going to go to win. So he went to Melbourne in March, and and the running to thirty seven to beat a really tough battle with Cambronne ran to forty so within six months crow, he had seventy point three worlds, ironman worlds and Mel. Auburn to thirty-seven off the bike. And obviously shattered. Whatever course record was going to be there three world class performances at six months, and I I don't think admit that. I don't think he was ever the same at the full ironman distance after that. Had private conversations with other regional champion winning up through pad phenomenal performances and felt like they weren't the same athlete or as long as eighteen months after absolutely not the rest of their career. So I approached ironman with honestly, some beer, I I had been good friends that that race and just weren't the same for a long time after and starkly we haven't been the strongest in terms of bouncing back and resilient after top racing. So for sure, and I'm really thankful that I responded, really, well, Donald Trump, blah. It was the first week is raw and about ten day. Doctor I kinda dragged my busters and tough workout. And then immediately. The best form of my life and signed up for another iron man, just at the end of September Chattanooga. So so you'll be doing another one. I'll be doing another one. Yeah. I've got the bug. But by the same token, we're talking about seventy point three racing earlier in how athletes can move up tire man and kind of lose respect for seventy point three. That's not my intention at all. I always had some inkling that are fitted. But I still love. There's still a lot of develop potential there. Oh my season clan. Over the next year, I'm leaning towards like this year my best season ever spending the first part of the year focusing on seventy point three's switching gears around mid season and probably racing. No more than two late, even ironman, maybe Kona is one of those and like a mold trombone the other one or something. So I think any more than that, I'm under no illusion. That's healthy. You know, I can just tell responded to this. And even though it's been a good response. After seventy point three. You'll be nothing. I'm tired. I felt profoundly fatigue. Not myself for a good days after this race in a way that was kind of scary and different right? Well, you're I mean, you think about it. I I don't know how natural it is to not only do one hundred and forty point six miles, but to race one hundred forty point six miles when you look at the level, the seventy point three has gotten to guys are riding close to two hours and then running one ten of the bike. It's crazy. Right. That's just it's mind boggling, and that's they're taking that raw speed into the full. And before we know what people are gonna be running to thirty five off the bike. And it's it's really take its toll on people. I remember there was a great marathoner named L Salazar, and we talked about he was the American record holder five thousand ten thousand meters when he won his first marathon in New York, and he said the mistake I made is I started thinking of myself as. Marathoner night replaced quality with quantity. And I I lost that edge. You have to keep doing what you're doing now with seventy point threes and focusing on that, and then if you mix a full every once in a while, you still have that raw speed, and you you had the mental toughness to get through it. That's exactly my plan. And that was some resistance, I'm thankful that sponsors that don't apply pressure pushing me any one direction or the other in terms of my race schedule. That's kind of a discussion. I have right probably fan. But you know, I didn't ask me anything on which dot com at after the race. And what dominated the discussion was when are you going to go on this year? That's your number one priority. When's your next iron, man? It just everything was about that. You know, a lot of pressure to if you if you're showing your teeth men are to make that your entire focus and race. You know, a lot of them every year. Yeah. I think the key is if you look at the greats if you look at Mark Allen, and Dave Scott with six ironman champions, each they didn't know that. I think Dave did ironman Japan once and I think Mark did Germany maybe once, but that was it one iron man of the year period. Now different era, you have to validate knowledge stuff. But for you. There's no rush. Conan Conan still going to be how you're how old now twenty eight. Yeah. The deal is that you can make a good living in the other other races. You've got this looking candidate. You've got Whistler. You've got. Amounts from blonde, which is a spectacular race dominance. Crude such an amazing circuit. Oh my God. It's just yeah. I had a good fortune to be up there last year. And just saw how meticulous they are..
