"The truth. Any more pictures, Mrs Bentley of you later. You got a picture of you at 15 and one at 21 at 45th. Hello, Nonsense. I don't have to show you anything. And we don't have to believe you. This picture proves that was young at some other little girl like us. You borrowed. I was married. Where's Mr Bentley? He's been gone a long time. If he were here, he'd tell you how young pretty I was when I was 22, But he's not here and he can't tell. I have a marriage certificate. You could have borrowed it. The only way I believe you were ever young is if you have someone say they saw you when you were 10. Thousands of people saw me but the dead you little fool, Dad. Oil. I'm going away and other towns. Don't know. A soul here just moved here a few years ago, so no one saw me Young. There you are. Nobody saw her. Listen. You must take these things on faith. Someday you'll be is old desire. People would say the same old. No, those vultures were never hummingbirds those out Whenever Orioles those those parents were never bluebirds one day, you would be like me, You know, I want me you waiting to see you, child. Your mother. Haven't you noticed over the years change? No. She's always the same. I guess we'd better go home. Thanks for the comments Fine. And thanks for the rent. It just fit and the picture of the little girl will come back. You can't have those there, man. You stole them. People understand, little girl. You stole her. No! Come back! Oh, come back. She lay awake for many hours into that night among her trunks, drink It's um a night wind blew in the room. The White Curtain fluttered against the dark king, which had leaned against that wall near the other brick it black for many years became trembled and fell. It's gold feral glittered in the moonlight. It was her husband's procaine. It seemed as if he were pointing it at her as he often had using his soft, sad, reasonable voice. Those Children are right. There's still nothing from you, my dear. These things don't belong to you here, you know. They belong to her other you so long ago. And then As though an ancient phonograph record had been set hissing under a steel needle. She remembered a conversation she had once with Mr Bentley, Mr Bentley so prim pink carnation in his whisper room lapel..

"Today. Couple of games should be good games, I would think Grams and the Packers also you get the bills and the Ravens Lamar Jackson said. He's never played in snow. There's a chance it could snow a little bit low thirties today, 36. Mile an hour wind gusts. Yeah, so we've seen snowy games and buffalo in the past, so it'll be interesting to see what we get there in those games, But people want to talk about the bears after they decide everyone's coming back. Except Mitchell. Too risky. Probably let's go toe old Forest and Joe. Hello, Joe. What's happening? Hey, what's going on, Fellas? You are You are, so I totally 100% agree with your last caller from Louis Riddick coming in the olden crude, and I don't even think of having out Brown and their weed out. All the craft sits in that building. But my point is that bears are the most predictable team. Every year since I could remember. I'm 30 years old. They're predictable. His health they are There's no way around it, and naggy and paste haven't helped it. Maggie made it so predictable for the entire league. He was good for one year. What? His playbook and everybody figured him out, and he didn't know how to adapt, And that was the biggest. His biggest flaw, and it still is his biggest flaw. He doesn't admit to any of it, and that's why this travesty turned out the way he did. If you would have been a good coach and actual coach to coach up his team, Mr Bentley might have been a decent player. Our first our first issue. We should have more guys on the line. We should've had possibly a fullback. Drafted to the team. I mean, We don't have a good offensive line, and I don't understand. The whole world sees this. And I mean today. Now listen to the radio. They're not listen to the media. I just don't understand it. My last thing is this. In the draft. Since we are so predictable. I've already seen us. Getting selected to pick like a wide receiver. Do you think we go after the ban Elijah's fever or DCs possibly going for a quarterback. I mean, I think we need offensive line and through and through. Yeah, I think we do, too, Joe. I appreciate the call when they get there, and I think their 20th Yeah, you got you got to grab the best offensive linemen, the best that elephant in line. We got a big grab the best off tackle still remaining because you've got to improve on Massey and Leto. You can't keep going forward with those guys if you want to run the ball. And when you think about This collaboration, how they're going to get there. And you know the idea that George said. Well, they had these vigorous conversations with Matt and Ryan and he talked about how we're going to get better a quarterback, okay? I don't know what they sold them because you don't have the third overall pick and trade up the second overall pick that opportunity set you back five or more years already as an organization. But, you know, are you gonna You're not gonna be able to draft a quarterback a 20. You could. I mean, certainly do that. But then so that you're going to develop this guy for the next three years. You're not getting Patrick Mahoney's there, right? You're not catching lightning in a bottle, So I don't know what they told George again, this always back to George and and also Ted not being football guys, and they admit that You know when you're talking to him about football policy or procedure or how you envision making this team better. What are those two listening? Do they? Can they really evaluate it objectively and with the discerning your eye and say, Well, that sounds like a lot of load of crap because that's not gonna happen. I mean, it's easy to sell those two guys on We'll get it right this time. Just watch Don't tell me how right out through the draft and the one thing about the various friends they do spend money. I mean, yes, they do. They spend money. They don't spend it wisely sometimes, but they're snug up against the cap. And they've made a big deal for Calo Mac, and they're paying him a ton of money and Quinn's a ton of money and Nick Foles is campaign warning should because you're not very good, but they're spending money. But how much of that is dead cap now? Because you know these guys something so again, it comes back to Who's calling the shots and moving forward without a lot of you have all your draft picks. But you're not drafting high enough and you're limited in salary cap room and you're going for wide receiver. Tell me what you do with Alan Robinson first, right? If he's if you're not paying him, and you're not gonna tag him, You know 15. He made 15 this year and I think of you tag him. It's gonna be 18 Something 18.5 something like that once he wants 20. Plus, he's unhappy he took. He's basically said Go ahead and tag me. It won't be won't be pretty, right. I I don't think With with the way they are and where they're at right now. I don't think you can afford to pay him. 20. No. Yeah. You got enough other things on your team. You have to figure out. I mean, Anthony Miller probably lost his job after you heard what McCaskey said about the way Miller reacted, got kicked out of the game after they sat him down and told him Listen, this guy It's funny People said. Well, McCaskey shouldn't call the guy punk. I'm sorry. The guy is a punk. He got in a fight with his own player. Michael Thomas got into a fight with him during practice earlier this year, and the things you saw him do pulling face my mouth. Guards off guys. Helmets lives. Yeah, I mean, the guy's the guy's a complete punk. He should have been fine, probably more throughout the course of the season. And some of the places I don't know. I'm back. He came back from double We talked about on the pre game show. And as you said, not only the Nagy I mean, took 15 minutes out of the week, and he says That's a sizeable chunk of time, but the position coach tells him Don't take the bait..

"Teacher. I haven't seen them in nine years, and today he's going to share a story he would share with the students in times of pain. This story's about Linda. I don't call her Linda. I call her mom. Mr. Bentley is never shy and correcting the students. All right. So my story. Well, first of all, Hi. I'm James Bentley. The thing about it was, um, I got a phone call, and it was from my step Dad, Mike, and he said, Hey, Jim, you better get over here quick, and I knew that something was up. Mr. Bentley hopped in the car with his girlfriend and rushed to his mom's aid. My mom had been incredibly sick. She had a thing called primary pulmonary hypertension. And essentially, she was going to die. And what happened next would be a moment in time Mr Bentley would come to cherish. I saw my mom lying there in the bed and I rushed over there and I kind of put my hands on her, and I told her that I was there. She didn't really say anything. She couldn't. But she motioned that she knew that I was there. And I whispered in her ear that everything was okay. And that it would be fine. If she just went to sleep. It was okay because And that time was their loved ones gathered at the house to pay their final respects. Her breathing really slowed and it stopped. Breathing stopped. And her skin was cold to the touch, and I knew and I looked over at my girlfriend at the time. I said hey, should go get Mike because he was in a different room. Interestingly I knew that in that moment. Your body flick floats away, like in the movies and stuff. So I was like I looked up and I put my hands in the air, hoping that if she was leaving her body She could see my face. And Mike had come in, and he said her name is a Linda. Linda And When he said that my mom Took an inhalation. And she came back to life just for a moment, and he said to her, he said, Save me a seat. And I love you. And, uh, That she died. What is Mr Bentley up to today? Besides teaching film to his high school students? He is restoring a 56 Thunderbird, a classic ride. He knows she would love. Car where he always has a seat safe for Mom. When my mom Took her last breath. It felt like an eternity and what seemed like an eternity could have just been moments. Seconds. This piece was produced by the master feeders as part of the 24 Hour ready raise for KCRW's independent producer project. That was save me a seat. A finalist in KCRW's eighth annual radio race. It was produced by one Salvador Garcia, Michael, No, Mullah and Jared Booth. And now are coming of age story in the age of Dhaka. The first time I realized I wasn't documented was probably in middle school. People were talking about how they would travel out of the country and stuff like that, and they would ask me like to travel outside of the country. And that's when I realized that everyone else could travel outside of the country except me. I used to feel kind of like ashamed. I guess for a long time, I think up until college I was able to like, finally accept my roots and like, except that it's not my fault. Um, but I did meet a lot of friends who are under the same program, which is the backup program as me, so that's helped me feel More welcome, I guess in the country because I know that there's other struggling with the same issues. So there's like a program is basically a program that gives students a pact to like. Education and hopefully someday citizenship. So we're given a social security number, and we're also given the opportunity to work. Um so basically you have all the same benefits as an American citizen except Voting and leaving the country earlier this morning. I asked you to send me a picture of something. Can you pull that up, Bro Creek? Yeah, okay. So is my senior quote. My high school senior quote, and it says things change and friends leave. Life doesn't stop for anybody. It's from perks of being a wallflower. When you were a senior in high school. What are we celebrating today? My graduation for college. So having a virtual graduation was obviously not the same as.

His entire body was incinerated leaving only his skull important. Each leg the knee again. The again the feet and legs were still clothing socks and trousers half the chair. They were put out safely. But it just just. I don't know where to start poof. Yeah so. I'm still thinking supernatural stuff. Man he kids. It's just weird unless it's somewhere genetic you'd think by now they figured that out. If there's some kind of chemical imbalance or something that causes this there will be some common factor amongst victims and they've come up with it but they still haven't come up with any explanation for why this happens to people. Yeah and there's like three or four. Maybe i think they're like four or five different explanations as to what this what this is and we'll get into those here in a bit One of them being of course natural phenomenon. Which may maybe yes. No maybe so who knows. We'll see in december two thousand ten. The death of michael ferte a seventy six year old man in county galway ireland was recorded as spontaneous combustion. By the corner. The doctor karen mclaughlin made the statement at the inquiry into the death. The fire was thoroughly investigated. And i'm left with the conclusion that this fits into the category spontaneous human combustion for which there is no adequate explanation. Yea duck finally adopted size. Somebody put it on our side. That's right that's right all right. Well let's get into the main topic. The mr doctors argument. Mr dr john irving bentley so dr bentley was found burned to death in his bathroom. "Input is critically important. When the folks on east Rosebud Creek came to me and said, We want to protect this valley, and they spoke in unison. I introduced the bill and we got the first wild and scenic river designation in the state of Montana and over 40 years and again when the people in paradise Now he came to me. We've protected the gateway to Yellowstone Park. So I'm proud of my conservation record, and I'll carry those values to the governor's office. Thank you, Congressman Gianforte, We're gonna open this up now again, Teo. Can you debate and we'll do that by refocusing since I think we went off the trail there a little bit. So we're still talking about the wilderness study areas and this intern committee taking a look at it potentially reassessing things now, since this has been going on, obviously, since the 19 eighties, just to get your thoughts on that we'll start with the lieutenant governor. Honey, you know, I think that we have to constantly be looking and having these discussions and I certainly support having these discussions. But I will tell you I will always fall down on the site of making sure that we don't lose our public lands that we don't lose our access to public lands because that is who Ers Montanans. You know, the congressman just said that No one's out to sell our public lands. There's been built in the Legislature in the last few legislative sessions supporting the transfer of federal lands to the state. We all know what that's going to mean. If the federal government were to transfer all these wonderful federal lands to the state, we wouldn't be able to deal with it. We wouldn't be able to manage it. And it's being done because people know what would happen is the state would have to ultimately sell these lands. And I can tell you it won't be me won't be my fellow mind talents who will be in line to buy those lands. It'll be rich out of state people, friends of my opponent who will be lining up to buy those public lands. That's what we can't afford. So to say to the people of Montana, this isn't possible that that's that's not true. And I just think that I will be a champion of public lands. Congressman Importing. I oppose the transfer of the state of public federal lands. I do have been active in Congress to promote additional tools to give the state the ability to start managing our lands again. I think now that we're back into fire season We would love to have better banished forest. We have Ah forest health crisis here in the state, And if we actively managed our forest, we have more wildlife. More habitat. There'd be jobs and we have less wildfire, so that would be a priority for me. But I want to address your question. John on the WC these states, these lands have been in limbo for 40 years. They've been the state Legislature historically passed a bill that asked that ones that had been evaluated again. This was Wilderness Study area. They've been studied and determined to be unsuitable for wilderness, but it would be returned to the forest Service inventory for all of their uses. I support looking at that. But again, we have to hear the voice of the local community and do what they want. Lieutenant Governor Cooney. Well, Congressman to the other thing is that you have continued to support the nomination of Mr Bentley to help had the BLM Mr Pendley has built spent his career They're trying to convince people that we should sell off our public lands, you know, and he's also holding his job currently illegally, and I haven't heard you speak out about whether or not he should leave his job or stay there. But a federal judge just ruled that he should not be in that position because he hasn't held it legally, Congressman I really like to know, you know. Are you going to continue to sit by idly and let this guy Stay in his job. A guy who wants to sell off our public lands and you say you don't believe in selling off or transferring public lands. Will you support a guy who does Montanans deserve to know where you stand on this issue, And I hope you'll let us know during this programme. Final word to Congressman Gene 14. Well, Pendley the confirmation in the Senate, not in the house, so I don't have a have a say in it. I will say that one of the things I'll bring to Montana when I'm your next governor is relationships that I've built with the Department of Interior and the Department of Agriculture. In fact, I had a The guy up in the North eastern part of the state of rancher who had been grazing his cattle on a wildlife refuge up there that was managed by the department interior and had a bureaucrat get out of line a little bit. He called to get his grazing permit for summer pastor and it turns out that they told him that the habitat biologists at the U. S Wildlife Service was deemed non essential. So they working allow any cows to graze this summer. Well, this was back in March. I made a quick call to the secretary of interior and explain the situation and I'm pleased to tell you that sometimes you can apply a little grease to the gears. I got a call from the rancher back to our office within an hour, saying that the wildlife services just called and said they cleared up all the paperwork and he has his permit. So one of them's ill be able do it. Helena is advocate for Montana back in Washington. With this administration in these agencies visit the Montana gubernatorial debate between Republican representative Greg Gianforte and Democrat Mike Cooney. The debate is sponsored by Montana Public Broadcasting Service. Live here.

"Create just creates a pretty terrible circle of events. The chemical composition of these subcutaneous fats when ignited can sustain the flame at a very high temperature church with a small low flame once the combination of Fatso clothing or surrounding kind of burnt up. A firewall doubt leaving pile of ashes. In cases such as Mr Bentley's at least were left behind it said that this is due to the lack of fat in these areas as well as the tendency to wear less clothing on these parts of the body. Although this is is a good explanation the thing that is so strange about Mr Bentley's cases that was thought he had been smoking but his pipe was found neatly placed in it stands next to his bedroom. which would lead one to question that? If he was on fire and in a panic how could he have placed the pipe down exactly my point even if the pipe was the culprit here has reaction makes no sense. So what is another explanation for the ignition. Listen I believe the ignition could potentially be mental or psychic and triggered unintentionally in the Kunda Lena Yoga practice it is explained that there's an energy energy that lies dormant within everyone that can be awakened and channel to the body with this practice endowed. Teaching there is an inner heat known as hall in which e Energy Causes this heat generated simply by concentration in some cases sexual arousal in certain African. "Trees tree sent in a wax smelter? That was like a heater that you know that has gas and I I understand the only thing left identified Mr Bentley was a kneecap and his is lower right leg and the slipper still on it unscathed as can be seen in this picture. The rest of his body had been completely incinerated. John had hip surgery some years before which made him rely on a walker. The Walker with its four rubber feet was also found in the bathroom intact. Noticeably not burned oh also also unscathed was the floor that was directly under the piles of ashes. Don called the Fire Department. Immediately the deputy coroner and local mortician could find no cause ah fire or figure any reason as to why only Mr Bentley had burn but no surrounding materials are than the hole in the floor. The mortician made a speculation that Mr Bentley frequent frequent pipe smoker had fallen asleep while smoking. An intern started himself on fire. It being the nineteen sixties and all the technology of that time could not really identify. Then if I if this was indeed the 'cause it was said that Mister Bentley's robe was found near the tab partially burned and the broken remains a water pitcher were found in the toilet leading some to conclude that he was trying to put himself out. Oh my God oh never mind. He wasn't trying to push one out. He was trying to put himself out. I totally miss her. That for trying to take a shell. That's what I thought maybe caused it so okay Taco bell so he ran upstairs while he was was supposedly on fire and try to throw himself into toil or from his bedroom. Oh God awful. Yeah so perhaps. This was a simple accident but the mysterious mystery still still remains as to how the fire started and as to why the fire was only contained within a minimal area. Oh fuck that is crazy. Yeah Okay I can't wait to hear your your believer on that. How do you know what's on that? Oh I know you just made this shit up so I mean this is i. Hope he wasn't like holding his pet or something like that would be awful worse than it already you can. You really had his grandchildren with them. The initial is holding so you can help people who are medical. There's the cat it was like National Lampoon's this Christmas vacation. So can you you so you can identify someone by kneecap like medical people. While he lived in the House who the hell else. Identifying defying thing was a kneecap. And I'm like I'm like oh he's showing a Ludden KNEECAP. Oh my God. That's crazy right. All right. And that is spontaneous inhuman combustion.

Nineteen sixty six when he had been visiting with some friends who left his home around nine pm. PM that night the next morning around nine am a gas meter. Attendant named Dong Gosnell had come to check the meter. At Mr Bentley's home. He knocked on the door and got no answer. He had previous permission for Mr Bentley to enter the home regularly so he entered and went directly to the basement where the meter was located in the home. What he saw in the basement shocked him? Directly above was a hole in the ceiling with ember still burning from the floor upstairs and on the on the floor. The basement was a pile of ashes. Don Tried to locate Mr Bentley in the home and in his attempt found Mr Bentley's charred remains in the bathroom on the second. God what the fuck on the second floor so he'd like exploded into multiple levels Yup Shit Don stated that there was a bluish smoke from the remains as sickly sweet odor that he described as quote somewhat sweet like starting up a new oil burning central heating system. The only thing left. What at the.
