"Mr John Cat cow, not a backbench Republican who just got here and doesn't know what's going on Mr John Kako, who is the ranking Republican on the Homeland Security Committee. Says this To allow the president of the United States to incite this attack without consequences is a direct threat to the future of democracy. This is not some backbencher on your side of the aisle on their side of the aisle, Mr Speaker. It reflects the sense of outrage the sense of historic dissimilarity from the actions of any previous president. And then Mr Adam Kinzinger. Remember to the Energy Cameras Committee, a senior member from Illinois. So I have a member from Wyoming, a member from Illinois. Remember from New York. There will be others on this vote. Who will join them? And Mr Kinch is who said this? If these actions he hasn't any hearings, he hadn't any He doesn't need any long, drawn out consideration if these actions are not worthy of impeachment than what is an impeachable, a fence. There is no doubt in my mind that the president of the United States broke his oath and incited this insurrection. I tell my friend, Mr Speaker. Gentleman for whom I have great respect. He is my friend. And I say that honestly, not just his rhetoric as we say on this floor because there's some that I don't consider French. Whose values I do not share. That is not Mr Cole. We have a difference. Liz Cheney, John Kako, Adam Kinzinger and other Republicans who might have talked to within the last 24 hours. Leave. This action is required. Now let me say I see the gentleman from Ohio is on the floor. He likes to say that we Democrats were elected and the first thing we wanted to do was impeached this president and he's shaking his head in agreement because, like the president, the United States, he denies the fax. Trump like fake news. December. 6 2017 Mr Green. I'm going to refer to Offered emotion because he saw the danger that confronted our country and he filed a resolution of impeachment. And on December 6 2017. We had a vote on that. And the majority of Democrats voted. No, actually, they voted yes to table. So that we did not proceed. In 2017. Gentlemen from Texas. Mr Greene thought, however, the next year that there were still a danger to our country. Some of us shared that view. But we were not a confident that the case could be made or that the transactions that had preceded would lead to conviction. So on January 19th of 2018, we have a motion to table Mr Green's resolution and the majority of Democrats voted to table That resolution. What a rush to judgment. And then on July 17th 2019 9 days before the call to Ukraine. Get the Ukrainian leader to act on the political behalf of the President, United States and withheld money to defend the Ukrainian people from Russian involvement. And offer that as a bride. July, 17th. The majority of Democrats voted to table that resolution. So Mr Speaker, there was no rush. No judgment. And then that call to which I just referred was on July 26. Nine days later. I call that the Ah ha moment. Yes, I knew what I thought. But that was proof. And the gentleman. Uh, some gentlemen have lamented that we didn't know the whistleblower because, after all, if we knew the whistleblower, we can intimidate everybody else. I'm coming forward, and this president has done everything he can to intimidate whistle blowers. People came forward and told the truth, and we had witness after witness after witness who confirmed what the whistle blower brought to our attention. So the reason I rise today, and I want to speak on the resolution itself at some later, time is to recognize the Contributions that al Green of Texas has made to getting us to this place. I just want him. I'm not gonna read all the resolution, but I want to read some excerpts. Excerpts from the resolution he is introduced. We won't be considering his resolution will be considered Mr Cecil, any and over 200 others. Who have signed on to the resolution. Mr. Greene had a resolution. Introduce resolve that Donald Trump President, United States is impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors. In the following articles of impeachment be exhibited in the Senate. Article one says in his conduct with the president of the What? Excuse me in his conduct, while President United States on mindful of the high duties of his high office and dignity and proprieties their own And of the harmony and Curtis is necessary for stability to which my friend spoke. Gentlemen from Oklahoma, Donald John Trump in violation of his constitutional and faith, both faithfully to execute the office of President Has harmed the society of the United States. Brought shame and dishonor to the office of the president of the United States, sowing discord among the people of the United States. Weaponizing hate. Political game. He went on to say on January 6th 2021 in a speech at the National Mall President Donald Trump weaponized the hate and resulted in that resulted in violence, the deaths of multiple people on assault on democracy and an insurrection. Gets the capital of the United States of America by inciting a mob who said that Miss Cheney said it and al Green said it.

"Anyway, though we fast forward all the way towards the end of the game. The Colts fumble the football Call in the field. Was that he was down. You took a look back at it. It was clearly a fumble. Went to review Sean McDermott actually called the time out because it was under two minutes. They weren't gonna bust down. Not only do they come out of that review was following the McDermott time out, They reviewed it. That, they said as Justin Fields is banged up very slow to get up. Those ribs are clearly heard and Justin Fields as its 14 to 7, but anyway, getting back to complete the thought as I'm watching national championship game and also trying to host this radio show. Um, I thought Pascoe definitely form of the football. He went down, got back up, made a second effort lost the football how they come out of that review, And they say that the ball stays with the Indianapolis Colts. I don't get it. And not only that. Think gave McDermott his time out back because they said before the time out the booth buzz down, which that's clearly not what happened at McDermott didn't call that time out the replay center in New York. Would have never reviewed that trace anything that I just said you being a Colts fan. You benefiting from it? Anything I just said was false. You were stunned, Probably right? Yeah, I thought was very close. But to your point, I can't argue against that. There was a fumble myself and Mr. Cole. Mr. Cole, did you have a problem Because we get to the final play of the game in just a second. Did you have a problem with the Colts? Not putting Jacoby for setting to throw the Hail Mary because he's stronger on the rivers of this thing. I thought it was interesting. Yes, Frank Reich has been shy about putting a bigger army and before I thought it was Heather was interested. Yes. Talk..

"Days, Mr. Cole screen amont, Lavigne show was terrific last hour and of the biggest story of the day, most of the day yesterday is almost encounter where they own. See, but that was replaced by David. Ortiz, Boston Red Sox superstar who is on a club in the Dominican Republic last night. This wheel some guys speeds up on a motorcycle gets off the bike and for no explainable reason at this point gets off the bike and shoots. David Ortiz shot, the one through his back shot him in the back I should say one through his stomach there. Yes. Gone through surgery at this point. David Ortiz is stable. He did tell the doctors. Please don't let me die a good man. And everybody's talking about it, this morning of TV station every radio show, but we have no idea, why this guy shot David Ortiz. We have no idea. No. And TMZ says it wasn't a robbery. No. Of course, subject to change and the DR is getting a bed wrap. Justifiably, I guess they got dead people coming people in these five price tourist areas all over the place. Coming back in bodybags y'all God's sakes. It's, it's, it's a scary place. I gotta tell you. I mean, I know a couple of people that live there. And they love it. And they're regular people. One of them, you know the guy Lewis right card. Sure he goes back to the DR, all time high bar shirts. Yeah, we'll tell you a story I have lung twit Danielle in often. Corrie Zona Cadel Briscoe about two weeks ago. He just got back thirty at this spending four days Memorial Day weekend in the DR, and he was raving Zych said Danielle the next trip you gotta go. You gotta go to the DR and literally two days after he's waving about that. We start weeding stories this couple. Did this couple that this free? For other stories knuckles. Some couples just sick. They barely made it back, right? And even before David Ortiz got shot last night. And there was one woman who several months ago and you saw the her face on TV, because I remember you recoiled when you saw all the best basement based, or face in the dude was an employee of the resort. Yes, he was at that when he did it. But they still haven't caught. No, no. He took downstairs beat the live. Living daylights out of couldn't find her and he really mangled her face. So then usually say you go to the DR you stay on the resort, and you'll be fine. But apparently, that's not the case, while the resort that, though, so it'd be fine. But that's the most expensive you go. You go into the apparently what's causing these people to die. They go into the minibar and they grab a drink. And that's what poisons them. There's something going on with the hill, the minibar whatever I had some friends years ago. That went to the DR to quote unquote golf. And they ventured off the, the resort area to good not golf, but they ended up getting the getting robbed. You know it's funny and then again, here's when Mario Salerno out of New Jersey, loyal sid Bernie and said, listener said Saint, I was there a few years ago, never felt so safe in a foreign country in my life so much. He told me two weeks ago. But you put these are real stories this similar things happening in Mexico. Yes, place where you went to jail. I believe you went to the bar Baidoa's, Mexicans Ugo, Cancun, and Bahamas, the a one of the joints that you went, some guy betas is when the West Indies Atushi very safety. Well, there was one guy was she went the dude was killed in home invasion. He was he was at at some expensive resort. Somebody broke in and kill the guy all I'm saying is go to the US Virgin Islands. Know it's going to go to even Puerto Rico, and thank the anything anything third world is now. So I don't know. Stay go to Florida. I only like old Sandwan otherwise, I'm not a Puerto Rico fan. No. Also, that's it. That's it and Virgin Islands Saint Martin. I love Los an- wing Thomas. I like Puerto Rico. You had that one strip by all San Juan. And that's it. That's it. Otherwise, you can't go. No. You don't go traveling around trying to be cool. Not still go to all these places. I would go to the DR go to a love the West Indies whether it's trying to diet. Oh, Barbados or Jamaica? I love it there. So I would still travel. But these are these are scary stories at popping up in these places. The Bahamas a cool. Now, I went there once myself billion times, and I jumped on a but you can't go to freeport in the Bahamas. I was just gonna jump out of moped with my girlfriend, and that was a mistake. We stopped at Mickey D's before we got married, we stuffed Mickey D's, and we were not welcome. Now, just to say the least dependent on if you go to Nassau, of course. Atlanta's Atlanta's the cove, cable beach you find. Have you ever been to Zuma when something big I have not? Oh, so nice. The best. No worries out. Is that by? It's by Nestle you have to take a boat. It's an hour away from Nassau. No. And you get to swim with pigs pigs, I could do that orchard beach. Actually live on this island pig island pig island. Don't be stupid. Sounds really speaking with. The hell off the beach. It was a beautiful weekend this weekend, the here perfect. And yet, yet now the Rican day parade yesterday, but yet that gay pike stuff is still going on that almost over on this pride month the whole month the whole month is pride month. So the, the ceremony the parade itself now is towards the end of the month, there was. There was one in Brooklyn. Yeah. There was one in queens, two weeks ago one in Brooklyn yesterday. So they have parades every weekend. Right. And then it off last night with the Tonys, which is the ultimate gay parade. Oh, god. Absolutely. A minute of which I did not watch what I did read either that I and I did go to Joan Hamburg's luncheon, which was cool because I met the kid who plays footsie any actually won the Tony award last night. He was Joan Hamburg event. She did not have Bryan. Cranston. He won. I have been watching sneaky, Pete based on gills recommendation with Giovanni. It is a fantastic show. But I did read for one, it's worth, although with too many bits too many that the opening by James corden was very, very good. Very big in of we have some. They cause somebody called them a piglet of piglet. Yeah. He looks he's got that poor seen does the Sashi very funny. Well, you know, he did it in two thousand six hundred and it was great the last two years, that Kevin Spacey. Don't forget, one of those us they didn't like it. So they bought back. He's like the perfect host. I know. Right. So they bought coordin- back for the first time in three years, at least early on Bernie. They. I love them. Except game. And back. Tile. "It's just it's cra-. They won't point. You do see tread while getting footage of them, like throwing rocks of these alleged poachers. Throwing rocks at like one of the bears and that shit's pretty fucked up. But all in all man, I I had never seen this thing. I didn't even know it was on Amazon. I had heard a little bit about Treadwell. Like I said, but this was one of the best most well-made, interesting documentaries. I thought it was super it gave it a really great angle that this German director Warner hers Auge was the guy doing it. Because it kind of you you have Timothy Treadwell this American doing something so outrageous, and then this German director kind of dissecting it in his life through his own footage is is so fucking good. So watch grizzly man on Amazon next time, you're looking for something watch next segment a conversation with Cole cubelic. And now we have a very special guest. We're gonna have a conversation with Mr. Cole cubelic a former coach football player for the Auburn. Tiger. Hours from home would Alabama you played center from ninety six to two thousand one in Auburn graduated with a bachelor's degree in communications and media studies. According to Wikipedia, he's a staunch game film analyst and has been offered a position on the offense of line at the university of Alabama offense of line staff that is during the twenty fifteen season. Mr. cubelic was honored as one of the many captains in the history of Auburn football and the coal. How are you today, sir? Doing great. I'm excited to be on Tricia, you have absolutely did recite. The phone is gonna be what celebrity is going to be holding the I guess the paper that says that I'm coming on the podcast this week. I think we can let you pick. It's to be cognac because we're gonna talk about Condie was. So there we go. I think I've I've had like six different Kanji signs at this point. So this will probably be like number seven or eight we can never have Tanya signs. Absolutely. So first question I had for you. Call is you kind of an interesting career path and being a college football player and then getting into median, obviously, you you got your bachelor's degree in common media studies. So it had to have been something you kind of we're interested in from the get-go, I guess or kinda saw coming as part of your future. So I just wanted to ask like how how did you get started in media after college? Well. I did want to do it. I wanted to do growing up. I mean, I I would play techmo bowl or RBI baseball or ten yard fight. Or you know, Joe, Montana's quarterback or Madden. Always call the game at my friend's be. You know, they'd be like eighty play in the caller game too. You know, because I would obviously be right kind of sarcastic and funny and making fun of people. But when I got out of school, you really couldn't make any money in radio. And it was there was a long way, internship and sorta work for free for a while. And as a college football player, I was kinda tired of being broke. So my aunt helped me get into pharmaceutical sales that John took me to Huntsville, Alabama. And my dad had a friend who owned a cluster of stations, including a rock station to carried Auburn football in Huntsville, Alabama. Okay. So how did this idea one day and his name was Steve Shelton, and I just walked up there. And I said, hey, Steven, and they said, yeah, I went to his office said I got an idea that my former quarterback, Ben leered. Lives in Decatur Alabama. Which is about twenty minutes west of Huntsville, so not far away. I said we played on the team last year. Why don't you give us like a pre pre game show because we know the team better than anybody. We just played with all these guys your niece it. Well, if you sell it, you can have it, and I'll give you thirty minutes. And so we went out sold a couple of adds to it and got an air. And didn't remember it was recorded. So thirty minutes recorded was probably like seventeen actual minutes of content. Right. And I remember I was driving down home, south Morio Parkway. I called my mom, and I said, that's what I'm supposed to be..

And this dude with a scroll IX haircut standing there is. And he goes Mr. co thank you so much for coming today. And behind him is like this assembly line of black robed people making some sort of dish in these like stone bowls where where are we seriously? What are we giving three actually? Yeah. What are we actually eating here? This does a lot of mushrooms in like it's going to be either. Like like, heavy hallucinogenic base drug based food or like poison. Yeah. And you y'all got a cauldron back. Is bubbling. Fuck is going on here, bro. Making which is brew. Got me up here with Harry Potter anyways. It was just man we were eating fucking. We sat down talking for a little bit. They give us our like, I drink pairing. And they're like oh. By the way. The first dish is actually in front of you already. And we're like way what? And she's like, it's hanging off these branches. And they had like set up this tree branch on the table with these things hanging off. And we just thought the redecoration and they were like kelp chips weird dipped in this. It was delicious. Yeah. Fucking ridiculously delicious shit. My little dude. First of all, I shit my cans off you shoulda walked when you walked in UCS grilling student like dance Lutheran fell off. Y'all bad up here. Get you close to star roasting him. "Television talk. So these toes and talk sponsor is like gorilla glue. Thank you for that sponsorship. The flash season or she's a London. If you prefer the not French. Yeah, I've had never really experienced any of these superhero Netflix show things. So you know, I thought I would my tone them in of the ones that exists of your Luke cage's, your Iran fists, your Jessica Jones, Czyz what other ones there anyways. The flat org. I guess green arrow because that's very much in this universe. In fact, there's a lot of crossover with the flash increase aero in terms of like the visit each other's cities. I guess that happens very frequently in on that note before even would I feel like you should potentially gain more by watching the aero. I because I think it must have started for a straight question Mark because they sort of take it for granted. Sometimes I feel like that, you know, about the aero. Which I do not really know so much about them like, I know him from comics. But I I've never seen the arrow TV program because it doesn't sound like something that sort of has an interest to me. Okay. Yeah. As I was saying, the reason I picked this one is because the flash is, you know, he's got a really cool superpower. Whereas some of the other ones like Luke cage in iron fist and specifically aero like their powers, quote, unquote. Are are not that interesting whereas going super super shoes Hooper fast, potentially some interests there mixed with the fact that at least from what I know of the flash from various comics and things like Justice league, there's a little comedy. They're like it's not as I say one hundred percent serious one hundred percent of the time, which I find the best way to do anything just period. I guess but in terms of fiction. If you're a sort of mix it up between funny moments and non funny moments that feels the most real as that is what life is. So that's my one actually knock against this show is they're not one hundred percent serious one hundred percent of the time. But they are for for my tastes. They are taking this a little bit too. Seriously, there's jokes peppered throughout. But the the fact that they're for example, taking a psychic gorilla like that should be like a comedy episode practically, but the, but they take it very seriously. So like the flashes bad guys are sort of I think known for being kinda goofy which they don't really play play against that as much as I would like like like Mr. cold is his name, Mr. Cole. He's got a gun that shoots cold keys in this. He's the guy from. Prison break, and he doesn't find job. And I like a minute, but he's just like a real bad ass instead of just like a stupid guy, cold gun kind kinda goofy. So rating wise and just talking season. I rate is season one right now season. The I if you prefer playing it even though that's where I go like three. And if you're unfamiliar my rating system three is enjoyed while watching but probably wouldn't watch again. And that's where I'm sort of sitting with flash. Like, I'm enjoying them as I'm sort of working my way through but so far it's not a series that I could picture myself rewatching that's one and I will say this is one season change in the potential for its to turn into something. Amazing. I think is definitely there. It's just I think they need writers that are not trying to make so most like smallville a little bit like a definite sort of which makes sense. It's like small little, but with Flo. Lash wonder if we get superman in here at some point they're in the same universe. Anyway. One thing that was cool is the the sort of what they do with the main bad guy of the season, which I l try not to give too much away. You kind of especially at first I don't know how many episodes you get into find before you start of putting things together. Excuse me that the main bad guy is someone you really don't expect. So that's cool cool beans who? Fast. Tony. Dolled deaths months comes..
