"Sports Radio. So this was easier for me than some but still hard. There are several here that are honorable Mention. It is time for the top five. Wrestling theme entrances of all time. These are these are themes, not entrances, right? Yeah, He's our favorite being songs This is going to this is going to upset some people. This is really gonna upset some people here. All right now because there's a difference. I think between entrances and theme like the undertakers entrance is great, but it's just graveyard music, okay? So there has to be a guy, a 7 ft. £300 undertaker and the Western hat and the duster coming up out of the floor and smoke and fire and all that stuff to a company that music. It's the same thing with pomp and circumstance, folks. You're gonna be mad because I'm leaving out macho man. There has to be a macho man coming down the ramp. With pomp and circumstance with Miss Elizabeth. Now some people going to say that doesn't matter because you put him together. Okay, fine. Well, it's subjective. So here we go. Number five. Say big boss man, I want you to go second, cause you're playing the music. Um, number five big boss man. It's a good It's a good song. It's actually good music. It makes sense. I like the big boss man's theme song. That's Number five number four. Now some people going to say I'm cheating. But that's not what I'm trying to do. Number four is the four Horsemen theme. That to me is just the beginning of WCW's Saturday night, Tony Shivani, We're live at the of May and then you're hearing the music and outcomes, Ric flair and aren't Anderson and Boom So that reminds me 605. There it is. Boom Number four number three. Common man boogie Dusty Rhodes. How could you say anything less? Number two Real Americans. A good song. Rick Daryn. Jer does a good job with it. And now this is cheating a little bit. Your mind automatically goes to WrestleMania three. And Bob Bucher and Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse the body Ventura and Gorilla Monsoon, the roof of the Superdome about to explode here. That 92,000. It's just automatically where your brain goes. That's number two. Never want to stone cold. The way that the music would hit. The quick panning of the crowd where you see the crowd get to their feet going crazy. Going bananas packed arenas, not how they do it now. Well now because it's a pandemic. You can't factories but not like they did before pandemic. We're all right. We're going to shoot it with some Couple of different things here and there. There's gonna be some different angles. No, no, no, no, no. You had 19,000 people in an arena. They were shoulder to shoulder and when that music went off, the whole place came to their feet. The best. So you know what? I'm sorry I did leave Shawn Michaels out. I did leave gold us out. I did leave again. Grail out. I did leave. Trust me out. I'm sorry, but those are my top five. Go ahead, Kill her number. No, no. Number five. You're not gonna like this one. But I love it. Here we go. What? One of what? One of my favorites are coming here. A number of 50 Dear God. Back from death and pain. It's gonna be. It's gonna be Cain. When cane debuted back in 97 Just the demon gimmick. It was terrifying. Obviously, you know, over the years, it lost its luster. But you know, he had the physique to go with it. The back story. The only Indian the takers, more evil brother. You got to pyro, the red arena, lighting the mask. He had to use a boy spots when he started talking in talk right away. But when he started talking Had the voice box. But it just You know, the fie Major believe that like this demon was coming from the depths of Allah to come and wrestle. You know this the church or again, they just You know, it's it's creepy with evil sounding and just just it's slow, methodical, Just like so, you know, just like Cain stalking his victims, just its song fit for a monster and again just one of the great debuts in the history of rustling, you know, uh, just and one of the best story lines ever. I just came coming out, ripping that steel door and delivering that tombstone it in your house to the undertaker that one of the greatest debuts ever so I love the cane being the original one coming in at number five. All right, number four. Now I always got a single I I gotta sing. I gotta say. Do it. Should take a few. No one sexy. I got the look. Drive the girls wild. I got the moves. Really move in. I said shit. I've been down there. Fine. Come on. H G H K 60 boy. It's pure cheese, baby, and I love it. I love it. It's it's a gimmick. You know he wasn't small, but he wasn't a big body builders, so they played off the look on his in his move said, and then and when he first got the song, he was the hell so it makes sense. Because the song is up. It's obnoxious, not just strong, plus the fact that he sings that makes it even more of not shift so That even when he's a good guy, you know Michael's a showman, and that's exactly what that should work. So the song Chris Person I love that It never changed. You're right about this is never change, even when he was when he was a face. So he'd do the pose. And you got to the point where it only rarely used Mr WrestleMania, and you hear the move all the all the great big pyro going off and the crowd be going nuts. It's just it's pounding through the through the arena. My favorite version is the actually way more annoying version. Of the late, great, sensational sherry singing it and carrying the mirror behind them, which, by the way, summer slam 1992 you wanna hear about boys becoming men? Rest in peace. Sensational sherry, Go right on ahead. Alright, Here we come. Number three baby. No e got down before you. Here you go right It is. It's a majestic song. And just slow walked to the ring. With Kurt handing golden locks flowing over the shoulder towel ketch just yet style. He had charisma. And the song just fits when the greatest technical wrestlers ever Mr. Perfect, so good to see the greatest intercontinental champion ever. All right, man. Let's forget about the hockey talk, man. Dude, he was just the longest dinner. Yeah, e. I got nothing against talking talk, man. Don't.

sherry Cain Miss Elizabeth Dusty Rhodes Shawn Michaels Gorilla Monsoon WCW Rick Daryn Kurt Jer Horsemen undertaker Ric flair hockey Bob Bucher Tony Shivani Mr. Perfect Ventura stalking Chris Person

"That, because I'm into it. He's all into all the stuff I was into, of course, which is obviously my doing. And I don't remember what it was. But at the beginning of this shutdown when we're trapped inside something just inspired me to watch a royal rumble. I don't you know, I remember why I just was like, Hey, look, Check this out, dude. And he was hooked. So we watched Like every single royal rumble. In WW history from like 1990 2020. And we watched home. And then as a Branches off of that tree. We started watching. Individual matches and and he really took a liking to the undertaker, which shows you how enduring the character of the undertaker is. It's funny because I've been there like these monster truck rallies to and that grave digger truck. Is super popular. It's sort of like the undertaker something about that that aesthetic that Sort of Appeal is broad, universal and long lasting. So Of course, we start watching undertaker matches and then the undertaker matches. Lied to Sean Michaels matches because Arguably, I think probably the greatest match of all time might be Shawn Michaels against the undertaker from WrestleMania, 25. And I I have held the opinion for a long time personally that Shawn Michaels is the best wrestler of all time. And I come away from this pandemic more convinced of it. Now I have to admit, like I've sort of inspired to talk about this this week. Is this crazy story? I don't know if anybody saw the thing with Marty Geneti. Show Michael's former tag team partner who, like came out on Facebook with this wild Facebook post, where he may be sort of confessed to a murder or something. I don't go too far into that rabbit hole because I don't know what's going on there. But famously, Shawn Michaels was was a tag team partner. With Marty Geneti on a team called the Rockers. And Shawn Michaels did a He'll turn by kicking turned bad by kicking Marty Geneti through the barber shop window, throwing him through this window. This talk show that Brutus the barber beefcake used to run and it's one of the most famous. Ah, hell turns in the history of the business because of how dramatic it wasn't unexpected, it was and it's like a pop culture reference now, but that's when Sean Michael's career really took off. And I just, you know. There's an objective list and there's a subject of lists and objectively. When you're talking about the greatest wrestlers of all time you have to to start with the guys who have had the biggest impact and were the most popular. The rock is in the news. This week two because of the XFL thing, and he's part of a group that purchased the XFL. And as far as just like crossover success, no one is touching the rock. You know, the rock is the biggest thing to ever come out of professional wrestling business that includes whole Kogan, right? Um And the rock was was super entertaining when he was in in WW on the microphone when I was in high school, I remember that era was the the attitude era. They call it now. Remember that being the coolest thing in the world, you know, by Austin 3 16 shirt or whatnot, you chub, and after Monday night raw, the talk was about Monday night raw and not Monday night Football. The night before. And So the rock and stone cold I think you know belong on any Objective. Mount Rushmore. For how popular and how successful they were. Then you have to go to whole Cogan for what he met in the eighties and then that that fourth spot On that. You know, Mt. Rushmore maybes, Ric flair. Um, for all time impact. Maybe it's the undertaker as I just mentioned, but those are the guys. Those are the the Titans of that business. But when you're just talking the best of all time, because I don't know if I could actually say he's my personal goat. I don't know if I can say he's the actual greatest of all time because Um, I just listed out the so the objective reasons for the goats but subjectively to me. Shawn Michaels is the greatest wrestler of all time. And I come away from this pandemic, further convinced of it, because I've watched all these old matches and no one has more classics. On their resume. You know, like he could have a great match with anybody. Whether it was ah, lumbering guy or or a smaller guy or whomever, from the undertaker to Kurt angle to John Sena to triple H toe on and on down the line. Chris Jericho and anybody He could have Ah, classic type of match with them, Mick Foley. So I have come away from the pandemic, further believing the belief that I had that that Shawn Michaels, the heartbreak Kid, the showstopper, Mr WrestleMania. Is the greatest wrestler the best wrestler of all time. What say you about that opinion? 855 To 124227855 To 124227 I told you we're having fun on today's show. So I'm going. I've almost made it like I'm more than halfway through the show. And I've been able to keep it completely meaningless thus far, which is by gold. We all need a break. We need to come together to talk about things that don't matter like they matter so much. That's part of the fun of sports talk right And I know pro wrestling is not a sport, but it's it's sports adjacent. As my friend Peter Rosenberg would say It's a Jase, you know, so I think he works for the deputy Bettina that that is my goal today to bring us all together. We've had some great conversations on this show over the last several weeks, but today I wanted to be meaningless. I just want to have fun. You know, we all need a little bit of a break, don't we? So take that break with me. We're talking about Tom Brady versus LeBron Earlier. The N V A being the best thing in the world right now. Shawn Michaels, the best wrestler of all time. What say you ate? 55 to 124227 Anthony, You're a big wrestling fan. What are your thoughts on that Take Ah Shun definitely is up there as one of the greats of all time because he could do it all..

Shawn Michaels undertaker Sean Michaels Marty Geneti Um Sean Michael Mount Rushmore partner Facebook XFL wrestling Titans Chris Jericho Brutus Mick Foley Mt Rushmore maybes Cogan Mr WrestleMania Anthony

"Quality as well at the John Michaels you are we you know we should do we should you name your Twitter page well that's fine I need some help ma'am Johnny Beezer you know we got we got to find something for you we got to find something new for you Johnny H. town although isn't Johnny the jeweler that you live in a in yeah there is a a really famous jeweler Johnny he lives on the rather because I was just a yeah he does all the gold grills and he did Paul wall and chameleon Aaron all the chains and everything else he's a little out of my price range okay there's a little he's a lot out of my price my price range I was looking at the Invicta watches on Groupon the other day that were less than fifty Bucks that's what I was looking at I I bought a pair of shoes on eBay for like forty five dollars that's the price range I look at Johnny the jeweler is a little bit off but you know what we may we may do that I if I tweet out name my producers Twitter page I got a feeling that we'll get some good reaction and maybe will retain your Twitter page before the end of the show interesting interesting today from the W. W. we the undertaker is retiring the undertaker Mr WrestleMania I know Shawn Michaels goes by Mr WrestleMania but the undertaker was like twenty three you know twenty eight or twenty nine and at WrestleMania it's Brock Lesnar beat him at WrestleMania maybe about six years ago just had a WrestleMania match all gets AJ styles a couple weeks ago won the match a bone yard match was really well produced they did a lot of cinematics with everything else but he said earlier today that his body just doesn't feel like he can get back in the ring anymore and the undertaker retires so I ask you this job is this a W. W. E. retirement or an actual retirement how long has he been with the WWE all my goodness he's been there since the mid nineties and yet Russell before the W. W. E. so he's been wrestling probably since the mid eighties it might be an actual retirement I think it might it might be I would have to look up his age and find out how old the undertaker is he's got nothing left to prove he's fifty five and he lives in Houston Texas fifty five you can still wrestle yet again yeah but but boy he is six foot ten name mark Callaway was his name before he was the undertaker will dissect some of that a little bit later on when we come back what's the latest of the NBA baller buddy Keith Smith has.

Russell NBA Houston AJ Aaron Paul wall Johnny H. Twitter Keith Smith mark Callaway John Michaels WWE Brock Lesnar Shawn Michaels Mr WrestleMania Groupon Invicta Johnny Johnny Beezer

"The same well it's impossible to pay college student human athletes because of all the sports that are losing money and that's an interesting way to look and I can understand that argument the way I look at it though is that football team made fifty six million dollars for that school and our players are zero dollars out of it that is why but it's not fair to pay the players because we don't make money well it's not fair for who's an officer for the football team that is making the money for every human there are the football players are out there potentially catching CTP and potential shoulder injuries for the rest of our lives in putting our lives on hold when it comes everything else for L. issue making fifty six million dollars winning football games I couldn't imagine what the majors last year when national championship probably seventy million eighty million dollars and none of the players it's a single dollar because all these other sports to get marketing themselves well you don't see anyone saying no that's not fair to coach Joe just got a massive contracted due in part to this and you know we don't need to go into his personal life but Zacks life now yeah what I saw from the sector Ellis is a premier team like where everyone says up to all the games what happens like the one schools like Pitt were like seventeen people show up to the games that are they just have to retain hemorrhaging money why not because the ACC probably pays them I saw that for the TV rights yeah the network you're right I'm right so I mean there's money coming into the school help this guy yeah we yeah he claims the pendulum in any just bashes on the ice I was a Pittsburgh resident yeah I've never pet a llama with open also when they cure Holyoke over nineteen you can go to better schools with a more expensive school true when I heard it so factor that's rich let's go to Philly in Philly Philly Philly what's up Hey Bob what's going on with going all boy just hanging out how are you I'm doing great I'm doing great just driving right now I know I'm not supposed to be out but I mean the cold it's cold it didn't get out yet down here in Philly style just out there I'm is that you're driving I try to have a three part of it that's okay Hey Philly Philly how bout this super special stabilization town all through Friday extravaganza did you have any respect then Philadelphia of course you don't Philadelphia has no respect for anything is it say what you feel is the Jello celebrate super special stage show about all feel good Friday phone a Philadelphia store specter what's wrong let billions from south Philly I don't give up I don't care about it's going on in in the Midwest right okay so here are my three questions okay absolutely knows I'm I'm a Steve Dallas Sandra's guide you're from Philly you should know that Pat's and Gino's stop put meat on their sandwiches just like subway after they ran in the joker vocal PR crisis what what you want to open right now I I I I then I also need you to write your paper wrappers with WrestleMania coming up it is a big one we will do that we will do that okay thank you Philly in Philly I will let you know don't normally be this nice to callers especially somebody will celebrate it but I thought like what Philadelphia is a little bit of an attitude potential little bit electricity come from the call Philly we appreciate you joining us yeah the last one is how your about the Great Awakening that could go down United I don't know it was easier is Philly in south Philly all right so really in Philly he refused to I mean it's Philadelphia yeah that's right yeah Philadelphia is a loyal city to Philadelphia anything outside that we don't give a damn what we celebrate your little super special stage of the show town hall feel Good Friday from extravaganza thank he laughed he tried to set me up with the packaging is questioning his Philadelphia I don't know full I mean those dudes and items sell out I know Philadelphia people hate pathogen is because someone big marketing pointed putting any statement at G. stage fright wears No Way yeah and I will put some meat on there Sir just give me one little sliver of that stake on that you put on your pal a little bit more meat you guys got to frame some out on packaging as I'm here for Steve and Dallas officers now when it comes ranking wrestlers we're supposed to use two weeks ago so I do have that ready to go if needed out boxes you have to find a video for I'm ready for that bill in south Philly and when it comes to awakening I'm a white person in America of course I've heard about occasion in America has a family member or friend who is dove deep into this Q. anon world import I'll tell you what fillings affiliation like he's all in I know some others are all in I'm pretty pumped to see what happens because the things I've been here just like all of us by the way if you are a white person in America you know somebody that is all into this you're not thing and I'll tell you what if you talk to him you know get some vitamins up there you have nothing else to watch is nothing like my conversation with my friends and family that are all in on the Q. anon or so much everything storms quarantine if it happens boy this could be or if you don't know what we're talking about I'm not suggesting you go learn about it because it is a deep warm all that I don't know if you ever get out of what Charlottesville in south Philly let's do our wrestlers do you feel your fox you got it yep okay I did this stop because Gerry VS people pour out the top three dresses or something like that which by the way I respect the project during the Spaniard you can get the top three wrestlers of all time because there's different generations different genres you in different eras you literally cannot do that so I put together my top three from different eras with WrestleMania coming up this week and I can see a better time to do this actually let's start with the golden age which is nineteen eighty to nineteen ninety three my top three obviously Andre the giant the Frenchman that used to be able to take down fifty beers a night if you wanted to he was a spectacle he sold out every arena he wanted to he was really the face of wrestling for a long time come see this massive individual who can't fly on planes because it's four different seats he takes up twenty six in a car the thing almost flipped Andre the giant by all accounts was a gentleman of a soul well being a giant of a man I wish I could have met him Andre Johnson one then obviously got the whole Cogan you know whole Cogan obviously took his vitamins ripped his shirt that is entire thing he was in movies he beat up Rockies done at all Hulk Hogan is a guy that's synonymous with the golden age of wrestling and last but not least hard time hard times the American dream Dusty Rhodes everybody on earth has tried to be Dusty Rhodes Dusty Rhodes was a massive part of the NXT in the performance center and building up new superstars obviously Dusty Rhodes can't now tell the roads the American nightmare has started eighty W. its own promotion that is doing very well those three are my favorite from the golden age now let's move forward to the new generation nineteen ninety three to nineteen ninety seven my software ric flair what you're talking to the Rolex wearing K. still in wheeling dealing son of a gun there's a limousine riding jet flying in there somewhere I messed that up problem while in Atlanta from NW way to WCW to WWE ric flair who's still alive very much still alive still cutting promos where Rolex is doing his thing requires number one for me in the new generation that macho man Randy savage is my number to step into a slim Jim he coming off the top rope obviously crashed a jeep and a passing away very sad story his thirty four thirty and W. W. E. documentaries a wild one macho man Randy savage had a hell of a run there and then my third favorite in this era is Shawn Michaels the heart break okay Mr WrestleMania is a guy that just anytime you want after you put on an absolute show I believe it is pretty well talked about that he was living a wild life at the time while doing this a part of the collect Shawn Michaels it was an absolute legend which leads into the attitude era which is where I think the W. W. F. took off this is one of became mainstream this when the entire world love the W. W. F. is the Monday night wars this is whenever we were growing up when he was must see television in my top three obviously number one stone cold Steve Austin why where George because of the man makes me feel good he's as blue collar hero he was once another character signing Steve one every found stone cold Steve Austin the Texas rattlesnake he started house and beers Steiner and everybody driving beer trucks raising hell stone cold Steve Austin was must see television that's my number one and without a stone cold Steve Austin you obviously can't say that this guy wasn't potentially the greatest of all time and that would be the rock Dwayne Johnson you might know now is the guy on Instagram putting up selfie videos in promoting all of his projects which are in abundance you know from his cheat meals he's incredible exercises always clothing lines everything that he does the guy's going to be a billionaire he's not yet already he's an absolute superstar when he was with the W. W. F. he started A. as this guy wore bright tights and he was in a nation of domination his dad was obviously a wrestler but whenever he became the rock in the middle Jordan's people were chanting rocky's name he added this ability to control the crowd he was six foot five athletic obviously attractive could do everything in there he and stone cold Steve Austin we're a couple in a match made in heaven for W. W. F. that ran through things and obviously D. generation X. right along side of that in the attitude era was must see television triple H. genius of a man obviously put this squad together they were this crew that was supposed to not list many roles they're walking around town or by the socket China was doing it Xbox bad **** Billy Gunn road Dogg Jesse James HBK Shawn Michaels and triple H. it was must see television they took the time to do a W. C. W. venue I don't know how much they will never ever ever forget elsewhere the ruthless aggression era shortly after that two thousand to two thousand eight John Cena a lot of people say he's the greatest wrestler of all time tie would you agree yeah him or crisp annoyed.

of defining this with your right she saw the thing is even people that I don't know that I have another conversation with bill say to me when you watch her it's like she's saying to you is there something about the way she could captivated audience that is kind of unlike any other from person I've seen in person I went to go see him with my girlfriend at the time with John and his fiance and we felt like she was singing to us the entire show she has that ability to make you feel like she's touching your soul music she's incredible it is very very good lives looking for this finally see guy who I've been to maybe a handful of wrestling that through my life starting at the Eddie Graham sports complex in southeast Orlando and to go to a cultural happening like WrestleMania to look around to see tens of thousands of people in the know that there are millions more watching on TV even from an outsider's perspective it's something special isn't it all yeah yeah what you're gonna W. E. you are with the promotion here in Orlando it was almost eleven years can you kind of talk about how you reconnected with Vince McMahon and what that first conversation you had with with Vince after all those years was like was it was a warm and fuzzy or was there was a kind of feel each other out for a minute well you know I I I I stated he had a long and I did that we believe sorry I'm fortunately I have a much better clearance yeah there I I was just I was just in my life when I left well it does to me unfortunately W. W. overseas bargains to this batch is the last day of January shows the library our colleague Bob well yes I did he called out in years and does a lot of other moms to be of both sides daylight to basketball leagues although we spoke to him again and love newest one of five the first thing when I went to me love each knowledge there's been locked up if you give me a break out of the shallow most all areas of one stop in the box will close one about well I was so it back a little bit earlier but out of that get all those numbers well it was it was a really good spoke about available used with a thought well the Phyllis there was great because those dentures what bothers him here but I was developing his back in the early two thousand I looked up the walkway they always treat me like a spot and we are not a lot of children while I was there let you have the last out here without the base so called my injury no I I totally get it yeah she was very angry a but by all these bills hello I couldn't keep myself yeah did not want to do get out well as well stop talking but you know this water under the bridge and I'm back but I was able to retire here and valuable to our office this glass blowers and they're back to the days of the producer hal a car when you look back at those moments because I'm a guy who's been had those moments myself for you you know I was a total Dick to somebody twenty years ago and that our paths cross again we have the benefit of wisdom and maturity in y'all get out you realize how how petty all the stuff was do you have regrets when you look at it or do you look at it as growth and learning opportunities and go you know that happen for a reason to shape me into the person that I am right now JBL regret all of their daily lives that will be I would have stayed all I will always love that she is the greatest of all I really honestly believe all of that sixteen seventeen eighteen world championships the you know all four five small batches all that that's my only with that on the first five I had been all I would leave my posts well at all all I had to get better I had to heal from the entries all's Russell are always always always getting injured quite a bit and my body was breaking down so I had to lay off of that both I thank you all day long and that that they won't have the all all of the calls that also all I had LA what yeah there are trees table they will all take care of me and all the all the I don't regret it I deal with that yeah it's all the fault is bureau well my best matches were yeah the eight balls balls Bobby will all of this stuff so I could do about that proud of my career as a whole I'm just glad all day good stuff we've got Kurt angle on the line we're talking WrestleMania thirty six coming up in Tampa Bay next year John Kerr you know you talk about your retirement in the W. W. E. and how you're able to get that great sendoff we see so many wrestlers in and not to say this in a derogatory way but they they wrestle far past their prime whether it be on another show or whether it be in a in a bingo hall somewhere do you ever battle with that do you ever think rather than taking the spot with the WWE maybe I can go to another promotion and have a few more matches are you at peace without things ended inside the ring well what if I really had the velvet I can't golf ball of yellow blogs that I was going walls in TNA along that will be the first five so I know Michael's coming to America I did not want to be one of those balls the loss of basketball all I wanted to I know the W. W. wanted me to continue to wrestle going all the year I did I was awesome body so why the hell you're distrustful maybe I which was last year at all I did ask the dog by all.
