The polls were wrong, is the system broken?

"A few days after election days, several US House races have you had to been to be decided as voting. Vote counts continue in tight races. But one thing is clear. Democratic hopes of expanding the majority in the U. S House did not happen. They lost seats to Republicans. Fox News anchor Chris Wallace called out pollsters for their quote really bad. 2020 presidential election, miss calling the industry Broken. On Fox News The daily briefing with Dana Perino on Thursday. Mr Wallace said, I wouldn't want to be in the polling business that just seems broken. Here's the exchange earlier. You know, polling. I wouldn't want to be in the polling business that it just seems broken. I don't know how you offensive We kept hearing in 2016. They were going to fix it that they had fixed it. It was really bad. "You are the Philadelphia D. A. Is on the case, folks. That's that's the news. I have for here. That's just breaking, not on the case of the looters and riders. There's reports that they were told just to disperse and that they would not be prosecuted at all. On the case of the Trump administration, and Trump saying that there should be people watching at the polls. Yeah, that's right. The D a while his city is burning is focused on Trump, not a surprise. Our friend John Cardillo joins us right now formerly of the NYPD. Conservative commentator. TV host, John Great, Heavy back always good to be with you. But you know you are the voice of New York. I know that was branding for the station. But you are the voice of the city right now. Oh, man, I appreciate that, John. That's that's a high compliment. And it's my hometown. As you know, I'm so tell me this shit. Yeah, I know. I'm Wapiti guy. Let let's start with this, though, because I want to bring in sort of your Law enforcement, background and expertise. And then we'll get to more of the political stuff here. This shooting that we saw of thiss Mr Wallace. Walter Wallace. I believe it is in Walter Wallace Wallace. Yeah, yeah, anything anything in this that makes people of your with your expertise and knowledge, say These cops stepped out. I mean to me. This looks like your your walking quickly toward police with a knife. You don't drop it. They're going to shoot you. Look, I mean, not only does it not say that to me, This is a textbook example of good police tactics. They backed up big. They tried to increase the distance Police officer is not recently but for decades have been trained on the 21 ft doctrine, and it's sailing with a knife, especially a physically fit. He's a 27 year old solidly. Built physically fit. Die with a knife within 21. Ft. Can close that gap in seconds. I believe, three seconds Is the law enforcement analysis and do some pretty serious damage to you not to get too wonky on tactics and equipment. But handgun rounds your common duty caliber's nine millimeter 40 caliber 45, a relatively weak they're relatively anemic against the solidly built jacked up opponent. Maybe they'll be fatal, but it's very easy to close that gap and still kill police officer with the knife. Even if you've been shot, Walter Wallace was less than half that distance. He wasn't a 21 PT was it about 10 FT. Coaching rapidly. Police doctrine again for decades is that in that scenario, when now the distances half meaning he could have closed that gap in a second one second sliced a cops for moral artery that corroded artery. Doctoring for decades has been deadly force. At that point, you don't mess around with a non lethal device, a Taser pepper spray. Shoot him in the lake. Police never trained to shoot in the leg. And the reason is this. It's not to believe her, but it's important to note the minute of a police officer draws that firearm. What they're saying to society. The law is the offender has now escalated this To a necessitating I might have to use deadly force That's deadly force that you shoot center, Mass to stop the assailant. This isn't you know, old 19 fifties western, where you shoot him in the leg with a trick shot so looking at that video looking at Wallace's extensive criminal history. You know, oftentimes these perps unknown to the police. Looking at everything. They acted lawfully and absolutely within policy. John Cardillo, formerly of the NYPD, the and conservative commentator. John, Do you think this law and order issue is going to matter as we have riots now in Philadelphia? There was a little bit of Ah, much smaller scale. But you know of a violent demonstration against police in Brooklyn last night as well. I had some of this in l A. I just feel like how could anyone We all know these Air Democrats there Biden voters who support this. Who do this work behind this? How could this not factor in isn't going to factor in Well, look, I think Philly is is the perfect example of a far less liberal governance at this point, maybe even more so than Portland, Seattle, New York City Because you've got AH committed radical Democrat Mayor Kenny You've got Larry Krasner as the district attorney. A guy who was the Petrie this for George Soros funding. District attorney races and the Philadelphia Police commissioner is now Danielle Outlaw. The woman who ran the Portland P D what they called a Portland Police bureau in Portland, Oregon, who turned a blind eye instead of cops down in the wake of all the riding, so I couldn't think of three worst people. To be running the mayor's office, the D A's office in the police department, then the three Philadelphia has right now, so I think it's only gonna get worse there. So it seems to me so so clear A this point. And this reminds me of exactly went through the same cycle. You remember John back in whatever. 2014 2015 Bill. Um, you know, it's about police, violence and police reform. And how do we reform police and community? Please? You hear all these things? And now that's what we see. None of that has been achieved, and none of that was really the purpose. That's not the look they were bringing. I mean the rioters in Philly, they were bringing appliance dollies to the Wal Mart to haul out washing machine. Nothing says I'm oppressed, like stealing a nice Samsung washer and dryer and stacking it up in your condo. This is ridiculous. This isn't about police reform This is about I believe that black lives matter has one mission well, several missions but a radical Marxist organization, but it's for people, especially criminals. And especially black criminals to be able to commit crime up to and including murder with impunity. It's about mass chaos. It's about the absolute absence, the abolition of law and order. It's about taking what belongs to others not working. It's a radical criminal Marxist terrorist movement. That's all it's about. And now we're at this point where we're six days away from the election. John, your I know you're down in Florida. Now, though you are in New York. I buy by birth or we are. I'll give you two. How confident you were gonna win Florida. How con for you? How confident you Trump's gonna win this thing next week. Not a place. It's funny. A friend of mine just asked me and and he runs. Ah, very large resort Not far from where I live in South Florida, and I ran into him about an hour ago..

Philadelphia Mayor, city officials hold news conference on unrest in the city following shooting death of Black man

"Kenny the new City news conference on the police killing of Walter Wallace, just across our city that the administration will do better now. I like to turn things over to Commissioner Outlaw for an update on the investigation of Monday's shooting. Walter Wells. Back to noon. Thank you, Mayor. And again get afternoon, everyone as I said yesterday. This investigation has many moving parts and we're working hard to ensure that a fair and thorough investigation takes place. We plan on releasing promising premise history audio of 9 11 calls and body cam footage of the two start discharging officers in the near future. Before. That happens, however, will be meeting with members of Mr Wallace's family to ensure they get an opportunity to view the material Spurs. On this call with us this afternoon. Our chief inspector Frank Manure, and Lieutenant Jason Henderson, Hendershot, who can answer specific questions regarding the investigation. At the end. In addition to those Teo also accompany with me is first Deputy commissioner Male Singleton to provide details of last night's events. Now I'd like to speak to ongoing civil unrest in our city. Firstly, I'd like to acknowledge and think our officers who continued to work long hours and extremely challenging circumstances in order to protect our communities. I also want to ensure the public that we are out here 24 7, and that public safety is our number one priority. We hear you and we share in your frustration. What we saw yesterday throughout our city, but particulary in the area of Castor Inara Mingo. I had absolutely nothing to do with protests. The widespread lawlessness, including the burglary and looting of area businesses served. No purpose is whatsoever. These individuals are doing nothing but simply wasting our precious resource is let me be perfectly clear. This behavior is not acceptable under any circumstance, nor will it ever be tolerating regarding the civil unrest. While we have already made a number of arrests on scene are investigators are still working diligently around the clock to ensure that there will be many more in store. At this point, we're able to present the following updates. There have been 23 injured officers. Injuries include various cuts and bruises, etcetera these air from throwing projectiles, rocks, bricks, etcetera. Several officers also had something that appeared to be blood intentionally thrown on them. Unfortunately, all 23 have been treated and released. As it relates to looting investigations. We have 297 reported incidents. As to damage and vandalized vehicles. There were nine Yesterday. There were 81 arrests that were made citywide during the civil unrest. The breakdowns are as follows. For burglary 53. Eight arrests for assault on police One arrest for aggravated assault. Four arrests for robbery. One arrest for arson. Two arrests for criminal trespass one for vandalism, seven for disorderly conduct. And four CBN's were issued for failure to disperse. I'd like now like to turn it over to First Deputy Commissioner Melvin Singleton will give a timeline of yesterday's events. Good afternoon, all So starting at approximately 6 P.m. in the area of 5200. Times Street, we had approximately 1000 protesters form up in Malcolm X Park. That group What westbound on Pine Street towards the district, which is at 50 50 Pine Pine Street. Eventually. Well, this particular protest the group split up. Form back up again and marched around the area of Southwest Food off your between Market Street and Pine Street. It eventually devolved into brick throwing to the commissioner. She mentioned blood throwing Out there with several officers being hurt. Some vehicle was set on fire on again. We had to make numerous arrests simultaneously occurring Wass. A looting. Burglary taken to place with approximately 1000 people estimated at Castor are amigo. We had set up in the city, roving looting patrols as well. A static patrols in the area and this particular location of Castor there there. Amigo also had that coverage. However, 1000 protesters was Not expected. I'm sorry. 1000. Looters were not expected. We had zero information toe warn us of this and it required us to Put ourselves into a priority calls the service configuration in terms of radio calls. The free officers tto handle, particularly and specifically ballooning going on at Castor in there, amigo. Just take some time. However, together those resource is city wide. We gathered. The resource is it got the necessary amount of officers to that location, But by that time several stores have been looted and damage was done. And East Division particularly we made 22 arrests. We had In that area. Two officers assaulted as well as two vehicles vandalized during that time. But to be clear this mission's point we are continuing to on will always move towards and affect the rest of looters and burglars when their car In this particular situation. We had Teo calm or resources to that location.

"Now, of course. Um, you get a sense of the scene just from the audio, but we hear later in the day, um from the mayor, and I guess down there they called it the Philadelphia Police Commission. The mayor's a guy named Jim Kenney, the Philadelphia police commissioner's woman named Daniel Outlaw. And they, of course. They express a lot of sympathy, lot of sympathy and a lot of Frustration. Ah, they they do not look at it Look like I do know they're politicians, so they're obviously responding to a constituency. This's cut. 56. This is the mayor. Jim Kenney talking about having watched the video cut. 56, please. Andrew, like many of us have watched the video of this tragic incident. It presents difficult questions that must be answered. The officer involved Shooting investigation unit of the Philippine Police Department will conduct conduct a full investigation. I have confidence in their ability to carry this out. We need a speedy and transparent resolution for the sake of Mr Wallace, his family, the officers and for all Philadelphia. So so he gives what is a purely political answer. Um, I guess that's what you would expect from the mayor of a city in that circumstance. The police commissioner Announces the investigation and then AH talks about meetings with the community. This is cut 61, the police commissioner in Philadelphia, Danielle Outlaw cut 61. I plan to join the mayor and meeting with members of the community and members of Mr Wallace's family to hear their concerns. I will also be participating in a community meeting this evening to hear residents feedback. And we plan to work with local organizations and the administration to hold several other meat in the coming days. So we're gonna have a lot of meetings. Um, the guy who shot dead. He's not coming to the meeting. He's not going to any meetings. Okay? Ah, and both the police commissioner and the mayor say what needs to be? Said. I guess from their point of view, they need to really, you know, reinforce their support for the community. But the bottom line is this. Neither one of them were there. When this went down, neither one of them a wearing a badge, responding to a call for help. So if the police act too quickly They're going to be criticized, obviously for shooting the guy. If they did not act quickly enough, And if the guy had somehow lunged at a civilian and stabbed and maybe killed the civilian They would have been accused of. I don't know not caring enough in confidence. Lack of attention. So there on this razor thin line. That it seems to me that most police officers in that situation Uh, can only hope and pray that somehow the troubled individual with the knife that they have been called to confront on behalf of the community. We'll do the right thing, and we'll have a moment of clarity and will decide to put the knife down and come back to reality. In many cases, in most cases, police do that, and that's what happens. Those stories of success where they were able to basically diffuse a situation are rarely told. They happen every day across this country in cities, Big cities, small towns. But they don't get told. Any more than the plains that land successfully every day or covered. It's the planes that crashed that it covered. So here, these officers if they had waited another five seconds would have made a difference. I don't know. I'm not a police officer. But I just think that we have two quick as a society to throw these men and women who who were trying to do their best. This is not a case. This is not a case of a police officer kneeling on the neck of an individual for eight minutes and 46 seconds. This is a split second decision the two officers had to make Ah Results in in in the death of an individual, Um, horrible, sad, tragic, but but it isn't necessarily the office. It failed this guy. What did his family do? What this society do? And why does it always eat the fall? Guys? The fall guys, men and women are the men and women who are wearing police uniforms. And I'm tired of it. I watch this. This is not a George Floyd case. Um, if they had waited on the five seconds would have this guy. Put the knife down. You know, I don't know. Um, I think not. If they waited to the five seconds could have he slashed his mother's throat as she was chasing after him. I don't know. Possible. The bottom line is that now Philadelphia is beset by rioters and looters, another American city rioters and looters. The people who are rioting and looting. They are not social justice warriors. They they don't have even any idea what happened. They see this as an opportunity to loot stores, Okay? And the same mayor and the same police commissioner, probably tonight to trying to deal with that, and I don't envy their job now. But maybe if they were a little more supportive of police and said, Guess what? We're not going to tolerate this in our city. We will investigate it. But there's going to be no riding. That's going to be no looting. And if there is writing, and if there is looting, we will call in the National Guard. We will do whatever we have to do to make sure that order is restored and order is maintained. And as far as I'm concerned, it is time for all of us all of us to start to back the blue and not assume that every police officer who faces a situation like this and pulls the trigger. And does with probably no police officer wants to do is a horrific human being. It's someone who is out trying to protect you and me and our families from people who are Dealing with mental issues or just plain criminals. That is the clientele they're dealing with. I'd like to hear from you. If you support the police and again, you do not have to support What happened to George Floyd? There's no doubt about that, though. That officer I hope spends a long time in jail. Okay, for what he did to George Floyd. This is not a joint for case and every case has to be looked at on its own. And from what I can see. I'm not. The person is going to judge this. It seems to me the police tried their best not to inflict damage on this man 617 to 5 for 10 30 Triple 89 to 9 10 30. I bring this up tonight because a week from tonight we'll be dealing with the election. And I fear that depending upon how the election goes, we might have American cities burning. Okay for no reason other than some people lost in their side of the election, and I don't give us the crazies on the right of the crazies on the left. We have to isolate those people and say to ourselves were Americans. We live in a great society. We live in a great country. We have blessings that many people around the world are dying to get to come to America. Let's light these phone lines up. 617 to 5 for 10 30 Triple 89 to 1930. I want to hear from you. "You were doing. I was glued to Newsmax TV, and I was watching the debate. Some are calling it a crap show. Some are calling it a circus. I'm calling it a debate. And I'm calling it a debate because, in fact was a debate if Mr Wallace had the wherewithal to handle his moderation or his moderator duties the way they should be handled. But of course, that's not the case because Mr Wallace doesn't know how to do X Y Z. We've got a lot to talk about tonight on the show. Of course we're going to specifically about the debates isn't a crapshoot Wasn't a craft show. I'm hearing a lot of different shows. In and around the valley shows in national syndication. Cable news shows. We're watching the video blog's reading the Different online publications and everybody has their opinion. But you know what they say about opinions. They're like, Keep clean. They're like armpits. Everyone has one. But many many stink and I've cleaned it up by many PG and I really wanted to go are with that I really wanted to go are so use your imagination, But I decided that I'm gonna keep it PG, because I know a lot of people right now are in drive time. They just picked up their kids. They're on their way right now to the lazy dog to get something to eat. And you may have kids under 13 on the car that loves Steve Sanchez, and I'm going to try to be the role model was supposed to be But let me ask you this. Obviously you watch the debate. I'm sure you did. I know I have some diehard fans That probably came to Katie WN, and we're hoping that I was on, but I wasn't Again. I was watching TV. My wife made some phenomenal homemade sloppy Joes, and we just hung out producer Nate. All of us. We just hung out. We watch the debates, and I screamed at the TV pretty much for the 90 minutes. And then I went to my large digital platform I took to video and I spent about 20 minutes on their giving my commentary and we had a great feedback. In terms of well, who won the debate, So I'm gonna put that question out there just right now, just to get it out of the way. Norman open the phone lines, and they were to break down the debate. We're gonna break down how Wallace did. Because we have to grade Chris Wallace in his duties as a moderator, We're going to grade Donald Trump. The president and we're going to grade but former vice President Joe Biden and I'm going to be very honest. I'm to be honest with my ascertain a shin in terms of mistakes. Certain things that should have been said weren't said things that could have been said and we're going to break it down here. 7022575396 Is how you weigh in on the conversation. I'm gonna open the phone lines right now, early, because I'm gonna ask you this, if, in fact you watched the debate last night. Who do you think one? Why, Or why not? I mean, you're gonna have to be prepared to back that up. I just don't want to see Donald Trump won. Okay, Well, why did Trump win? Well, Biden won. Well, why did Joe Biden win? I want to know exactly how you have formed your thought. Let me tell you what I think. Let me tell you where I'm at. And look, you have every right to have your opinion. You have every right to believe either Airs E. That's fine, But I'm going to give you what I always give you. And that's unparalleled truth. I'm gonna treat you like adults like I said, And here's my truth. Here's the truth. There's a lot of things that went down last night. That shouldn't have had to go down and they blamed Chris Wallace because Chris Wallace needed to take control ofthe that debate. He didn't because he's weak. He's weak. You know, he's weak. I my God. Chris Wallace was under fire even from well, Brian Kilmeade. Now I know others out there trying to say Brian Kilmeade was throwing the president under the bus. No, no, no, not necessarily. He was asking, and he was pointing out some critical errors that the president made and I agree. There was some critical errors that the president may but I explain why I think he made those critical airs and and and I think we're going to give him some grace on that. And I think you'll understand and you'll understand and you'll you'll, you'll agree with where I'm going. But what others don't want to talk about regarding. Let's say, Brian Kilmeade, who is right here on Katie WN. Morning six AM to 9 A.m.. Hey, basically on Twitter last night, said About his colleague Chris Wallace. That he couldn't take control. And there was complete bias and their wass Are you gonna try to tell me that Chris Wallace wasn't bias? Are you going to try to tell me that Chris Wallace was trying his best to give a tremendous amount of gotcha questions to the president? He and Chris Wallace interrupted the president's 76 times. So I know some on the left, and some so called Republicans are saying while the president was rude, he was a bully. He came out disrespectful. He came out on presidential. He kept interrupting and interrupting. Well, you would, too. If you weren't allowed to talk and give explanation. 76 times. Chris Wallace interrupted the president total softball questions towards Biden. But Trump was completely thrown under the bus. So the way I looked at the debate, and I think many of you will agree. Donald Trump was not only debating Joe Biden last night. He was also debating Chris Wallace in Fat Joe. Uh, President Trump even made mention Made mention to Chris Wallace, that hey, it looks like I'm debating you. My debating your my debating him. Now. You may think. Well, that's okay. It's Chris Wallace's job. Two. Ask tough questions, and I have no problem with tough questions. I want to have questions. I want tough questions. For both candidates. I want tough questions like, for instance, like, For instance, when Chris Wallace was talking about covert 19 Corona virus of the handling of Corona virus, et cetera, Joe Biden and made some rather Ah, well, fraudulent claims against the president's handling of covert 19. Chris Wallace didn't correct Joe Biden. Chris Wallace refused to correct Joe Biden. He wouldn't say, Mr Vice president, That is not true. Here's why, but he sure did it to Donald Trump. And when Donald Trump would try to explain himself, Chris Wallace would interrupt off course. Donald Trump is going to get angry. Of course, Donald Trump is going to be frustrated. Of course, Donald Trump is going to interrupt. I mean, wouldn't you interrupt? After 3.5 years of constant constant accusation in your window, the Russia hopes that we now know without a shadow of a doubt. We'll talk about that in the second hour was, in fact concocted by Hillary Clinton. That wasn't even brought up the debate last night. No The questions that Chris Wallace asked. "The Confederate flag president ever said that again, you're taking his sweet completely out of context. The president says that nasty arse on bad ratings because they took down the Confederate flag spanned the Confederate five. Does he believe NASCAR should fly the Confederate flag and why don't they live here? The whole point of the tweet was two notes The incident. The alleged crime that, in fact is not a hate crime. At the very end. The ban on the flag was mentioned in the broader context of the fact that he rejects this notion that somehow NASCAR men and women who go to the sporting events are Racists when, in fact, as it turns out what we saw with the F B, I reports in the alleged incident of a hate crime. It was a complete indictment of the media's rush. The judgment once again, calling this a hate crime when FBI completely dismissed yet the questions continue during the 22 minute briefing when pressed whether the president believes NASCAR should ban the Confederate flag, the White House press secretary refusing to give a direct answer. Here's ABC is Jonathan Karl. With that question. Let's drill down on the Confederate flag. Does he think it was a mistake for NASCAR to president said he wasn't making a judgment one way or the other. You're focusing on one word at the very bottom of the trees that's completely taking out of context and neglecting the complete rushed to judgment. Ratings were down because they banned five. That's what he said. The president was noting the fact that an aggregate this notion that NASCAR men and women who have gone and you are being demeaned and called racist and being accused in And some venues of commiting a hate crime against individual. Those allegations were just dead. Wrong support. You not take the flag to trump rallies. Consider standing Confederate flag from Trump rallies, all flags that are not official campaign gear. Our vans, yes, cover losses, responsibility to apologize for investigation news that he didn't report and he never saw it was NASCAR that found this that reported this, and even the FBI referred to it as a noose. Even if they said it wasn't the specific crime against Mr Wallace. Why President suggesting Mr Polishing? Apologize? Well, look, The FBI's I noted, concluded that this was not a hate crime, and he believes that go a long way. If Baba came out and acknowledged that as well, This was not the president's intentional one of one of the things that one of this is where the president comes from. This is where the president Is. He actually hinted at this in his life for speech to those in the media who falsely and consistently label their opponents as of Racists who condemn patriotic citizens who offer a clear and truthful defense of American unity. We want a clear and faithful defense of American history and unity, and when you level false charges, you're not only slander me, you slander the American people. He believes the American people are good in the allegations and the rush to judgment. Jesse Small let in the bubble Wallace case and with the Covington Catholic We shouldn't be so quick to jump onto those narratives. Those air just three examples of those that have been proven, suggesting he was possibly become a crime. Yes, from today's White House briefing, And that was Paula read of CBS News earlier, Jonathan Karl and a question earlier from NBC's Peter Alexander. Meanwhile, one of the president's biggest supporters on Capitol Hill, South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, defending NASCAR and Bubba Wallace during interview with Fox News, right D'oh, Senator Graham, saying it made perfect sense that Wallis was concerned about a news found in his garage stall. Here is part of that interview with host Brian Kilmeade. I just don't want to make one comment about NASCAR. I grew up in South Carolina NASCAR Hall of Fame is in Darlington. I'm goingto car races of a kid with my dad. My uncle from the time I was old enough to see over the dash board. NASCAR made a decision to ban the Confederate flag inside of the inn pill and at Karina's. They're trying to grow the sport and I lived in South Carolina all my life. How big is that book? Because it weighs more than she does seem to have everything on the right. The president's comment on my toes is in my oasis and cell division. She's like, Yeah, well, when the president speaks about cell division she's like my toast is as you know, you know, like Ah, I guess the president said bubbly shit apologizes today. Yes, but this is another example of how he doesn't really know what he's talking about. He has these instincts and he figures. Oh, yeah, I'm going to call this a hoax. Well, how could it have been the hoax? It must have been like Jesse Smollett who make a Navy actually reference, you know, claiming and he's nobody. He didn't. He didn't make the claim It was NASCAR that said it was in. Everyone saw the news. Hey, just doesn't have control of his facts. He knows his opinions without the fact but didn't see Even news. But remember, it's the NASCAR president who's the maddest about it. Not being dismissed is not a new citizen news. NASCAR is the one that's trying to make this sea change. "On Sotos, Ruka, Roku and hundreds of other platforms. All right. Well listen, I feel like the bubble. Wallace story has taken an unfortunate turn. An unfortunate turn in that many people have already decided that they weren't gonNA. Wait for any result from any investigation to say that this was a hoax or that any? reportings that didn't uncover blatant overt racism was somehow a cover up. Unfortunately, we live in a world of extremes. Yes, and there are people who are just dug in, and it's making it really really hard for those of us who just want to be in the middle? Who just want to say? Hey, even if the middle of moving around a little bit, that's okay. But to say hey, can I just wait a little while before? I form an opinion about this because. Talladega Alabama different than San. Diego and social media isn't the FBI. But that's not the world in which we live. So Jim has been sending us a couple of tweets here, apparently the FBI. Has Investigated. What's going on? In Talladega the FBI has stated this is an update according to Jenna, fryer. After a thorough review of the facts and evidence surrounding this event, we have concluded that no federal crime was committed. The FBI learned that garage number four where the news was found was assigned the bubble wallace last week. The investigation also revealed evidence including authentic video confirmed by NASCAR. Are. That the news found garage number four was in that garage as early as October of two thousand nineteen. Somebody on Nascar pointed this out. Somebody on twitter pointed this out. Excuse me that the last time that this track held a race was October of twenty nineteen. Maybe that's how they connect that to. Some may be left their news there. I don't know I don't know. I don't really know what to make out of that. Although the news is now known to have been in garage number, four and two thousand and nineteen, nobody could have know. Mr Wallace would be assigned to garage number four last week. Poker and NAS NASCAR has their own statement out and one thing that Jeff Locke put there is. It's important to understand that..

"Thanks so much for being with us, Mr. Wallace. Yeah. Thank you. It's a pleasure to be honest with you. What's this last year been Mike for you? It's it's definitely the toughest year. I've ever had in my career. It's not just taking the next step. You have to be on top of your game from point a to point z and back again. So it's been fun learning the ins and outs of of the sport. And who you can work with who you can't and assault. All part of the game. Let me ask you a little bit about your background. You grew up in Charlotte. I gather, right. Yes, sir. And one of the homes of of motor racing, obviously. How did how did you begin to race? Started racing. Rows nine years old. My dad bought a Harley Davidson out until bike shop the guy who owned them by shop race, go karts, and he invited us to come out one weekend and come watch him. So as simple as going out and watching and getting hooked and buying a go kart and went out racing the next weekend and never never turned back. What do you think hook you? I think you know, we we got to travel a lot that was fun. And you got to do something where we thought we were pretty decent at and we kept trying to be better and better in each series. We'd spent about two years and and every series and and move up to the next bigger and better and faster car next thing. You know, you're driving the fame number forty three. And the name Bubba. How did how did that get into your life baba came about? I think the day I was born for my sister Brennan, she called me that ever since I came out, and it kinda stuck and now we've created a brand around it. As I don't have to tell you some places in the south and not just the south the number forty three in the name, Richard petty are pretty much interchangeable. Yes. What is it like to drive the car that bears his name and number for the man himself? It's awesome to hear the stories in the history behind the forty-three Annandale, and then at the track, it's it's I wouldn't trade it for anything. Honestly, it it's fun. Trying to bring legacy back and build the program back up to what it wants was. There's a lot of work that needs to be done. But we all know how much it takes to be successful in the sport. And we're trying to do everything under our power to do that. So I learned a lot in last year I've been around them but still got to dig deep and press hard on for for this year. He must really believe in you. He does you gave me the opportunity back when their former driver got hurt. And I was able to fill in for them. And then next thing, you know, I get a phone call.

Which position I suppose, this is really the problem. But being being quite direct. I will repeat again what I have said on many programs. I debated a nineteen sixty I would be willing to debate the nominee of the other party in nineteen sixty eight. However, I would not participate in a what I would call a three wings ring circus. You can't have a debate between three people because then you're gonna have a gang fight with two against one or one against three or whatever the case might be depending upon how it turned up. But if if the congress can work out the law in such a way that the equal time provisions can be amended or suspended so that there can be a two-man debate. I have indicated that I would debate Mr. Harper. Yes, of course, in nineteen sixty you had more than two candidates often for the presidency, and you and Mr. Kennedy way will debate at that time. The difference. And that's just the point. That's in the congress today in nineteen sixty s see the congress passed a law that the other candidates were so minor in character. The congress passed the law directly allowing the networks to allow the two major party candidates to to to the bait. And and allowing the network and providing the networks would not have to get equal time to anybody else this time, the congress is debating whether or not it will also allow a third party candidate Mr. Wallace to half time. "The same thing with race now there's this this interchange between uh why can't i think was name off the top of my head the guy salta the voice overs and what have you morgan freeman morgan freeman and some some big reporter wallace something anyway more freeman obviously black wallace white and they're talking with each other about black history month and they can't get into it because morgan freeman's the point is i don't what black history month why you relegating my history to a month why are you making a big deal out of this whole black white thick and what ends up saying is why can't i just be morgan freeman and you be mr wallace instead of me being a black eye and you being a white guy like why can't we get to the point where we're focused on the the actual values rather than the identity that from from which the values are springing and yeah that's what i anyway that's why really appreciated about the presentation of wonderwoman edits evocative of previous female a popular fiction characters like princess layer for instance is another example even though it was thirty years prior forty or spranger she was also a character that was not doing in any of the things that she was doing because she wanted to prove herself as a girl she was doing it because she had a fight the shebaa believed that one she wanted to pursue as she just ploughed forward she didn't ask anybody permission she never asked for parisian as she certainly wasn't asking for approval after the fact she had her my made up an and win after it i mean despite my you know obviously glowing review of gal gadot just as an actress and as a human being and her existence that the fact that matters it was really good movie for the point you mentioned is that i enjoyed the movie in all joking aside i didn't sit there and think too much about the fact that it was a woman in the lead role like.
