Jim Carrey Quits Twitter

"It's only been a day or so, but how are you guys holding up now that Jim Carrey says he's putting Twitter? Oh, that's a tough blow. That's a tough blow. If only he quit that stupid show he had called, what was it called sorry? Where he played that Mr. Rogers type character. I think it was on showtime, showtime or HBO. It was so depressing. There was one laughing at it was another attempt for Jim Carrey to do serious traumatic acting, but it went nowhere. It went nowhere and it was gone in two seasons. Thank goodness, but I can't crap on him totally. Jim Carrey was a huge star in his day, making 20 million a picture. I loved about 5 or 6 of his movies. Funny as hell, but in recent memory, has he done anything that kind of floated your boat? Not for me,

Colorado Club Q Shooting Suspect Is 'Non-Binary'

"Let's get on to some news. Colorado mass shooting identifies as a non binary. Now, I don't know if this person, and if you're not familiar with the Colorado shooting in Colorado Springs, a nut job went into a gay nightclub, called club Q or something like that, and decided to shoot up people, end up killing about 5 people and injuring several other people, but now that he's being presented in front of a judge, he's now identified as non binary. I'm going to try to read again because I think these articles explain a little better than I do. I'm not going to say the person's name because he's a scumbag and I'm not going to say scumbags names. The suspect in a daily Colorado LGBTQ nightclub massacre is non binary and uses they them pronouns. Their lawyer said in a new court filing Tuesday. This is so stupid. But blank blank is non binary, the footnote states, the Denver post reported. They use they them pronouns and for the purpose of all forms filed on all formal filings, we will be addressed as mix blank. So I'm not going to say his name, but it's mixed blank. So it's MX, so not mister with MR or miss with MS or MRS. It's MX. And I don't know if this is just adding insult to injury by a person being so fanatically against homosexuality and the trans stuff that he would go so far is to kill people, knowing that one day he will be in court and then in court adding insult to injury by just adding on to the foolery by saying that he identified as a non binary.

Do Democrats Really Want to Run Biden AGAIN?

"Matters, right? Who you hire? So it matters who our president is. It really does. And we're setting the stage now for what could be a very interesting 2024. There is some talk of Hillary Clinton coming back. I don't see it happening. I can't imagine that would happen, but when you have this sort of power vacuum, as you do, right now in the Democrat party, you're going to see some interesting things. That's saying it nicely, right? Interesting things. Hillary Clinton still still has a lot of power and pulls a lot of weight, but she's not likeable. And therefore, not electable. That's kind of what happened in 2016. In fact, there were a lot of people that went out to vote for Trump, but there were a lot of people that also went to vote against Hillary Clinton. That would be exactly the play if Kamala Harris runs. There will be so many people that will just go out to vote against Kamala Harris. So Biden may have to run, right? At all 82 years old. He's going to be celebrating 83, 84. I mean, what's he thinking? At some point to the American people say enough, you know, I want to share with you a poll. This is an AP vote cast survey, actually, it's not a poll. It's a survey of the electorate and it came out just this month in a full 58% of voters say that Joe Biden does not have the mental capacity to serve effectively as president. Again, I'll never think he had the mental capacity to ever serve as president. I say that with a lot of conviction. And I would suggest if you don't believe that, go back and look at his law school grades. And then the fact that he would try and spin it as though he was in the top part of his class, give me a break. So he's never had the intellectual chops. The ability, I think, to really understand and process foreign policy, economic policy. The things that you need and would expect in a president, he's been political, of course, and he's survived because he's so darn damn political, but that doesn't mean he's actually qualified, really. Happy 80th Birthday, Mr. President

"President is now 80. This is kind of a big deal because again, it's a first. It's a historic first. We have a very old president, but I think that's pretty evident to everyone. One of the questions now, however, becomes whether or not he's going to continue on, right? Because at some point you just say, I'm getting up there like Nancy Pelosi did, right? Well, you're getting up there, plus you're losing. And thus you have to start to say, maybe it's time for a change. Maybe the Democrat party needs to think about who else? Who else is out there and I'm not talking Kamala Harris because I don't think that she's winning material in any way, shape or form. It would be great for the GOP actually if they were to run Kamala Harris. But right now, it's looking increasingly like Joe Biden wants to maybe do this again, at least that's the message that he has been conveying recently in the media. They say they're going to look at it more closely between Thanksgiving and Christmas. So, you know, that's like right about now. But he would be 82. 82 when he's running next time around, and then he would be, well, let's do the math. 86 by the time he leaves office. Already, he has shown numerous signs of his age. I'm not an ageist, you know that. And I do believe it's just a number. However, there are certain realities that you can not ignore when you're 80 years old. We've seen him now show signs of slowing. And if I am not talking about mental, I mean, I think in some way, shape or form, that's been obvious for a long time, perhaps even as long as 40 years ago, because you just can't ever quite seem to say the right thing. I do believe he was speaking about visiting Columbia recently when he meant Cambodia. So that kind of stuff. But, you know, he's done that forever. But nonetheless, there are some issues, certainly physically, you've seen he has a much slower gait right now, a halting gait and that's sort of in contrast to what we saw. Even as short as two years ago in 2020, remember, and he was jumping onto the stage on election night. So

Is This Incompetence?

"Involved in the political world for long enough. Help me as a naive resident of the swamp. How is it that the GOP are in charge in terms of running the election? They closed down a third of their polling stations, and then in a system where they have to print the ballots in front of the voter. They run out of printer cartridges and when somebody suggests, oh, there's a backup voting tabulator if the first one breaks, but it's for handicapped people. And one of the officials who can't use the handicap one for non handicap voters because that's a felony. How does this happen? I mean, there's incompetence and then there's a kind of scratching your head is this really incompetence incompetence? Yeah, yeah, no, I know I've had to think where to start. It's incompetence. It really is just embarrassingly gross. Incompetence. And I've got friends have been emailing me like smart, successful, accomplished people. And everybody comes back to the same thing because they wonder like, how can you actually run something so poorly? Like, surely this must be mean that there's like a conspiracy. And I really don't think there's a conspiracy. It does have like the lowest common denominator when it comes to running this stuff.

Kayleigh McEnany Makes Curious Comments About President Trump

"McEnany, what is she doing? Didn't she work for president Trump? I do think she did on Fox today. She said something unfortunate about president Trump and about Georgia, play cut. No, no, no, no, no. 2022 is not over. Three point. Every Republican energy needs to go to grinding the Biden agenda to a halt. And that could go straight through the state of Georgia. And is that include Trump? I think he needs to put on pause. Absolutely. Look, he'll make that decision. We'll make his own decision, but does he go to crime advising any contender? Desantis, Trump, whomever, no one announces 2024 until we get through December 6th. Do you see the former president? A need for him to go to Georgia? I think we've got to make strategic calculations. Governor desantis, I think he should be welcome to the state given what happened last night. You've got to look at the realities on the ground and Herschel Walker. We've got to win the Senate. That's it, guys. So we got to win the Senate, but the man who got 70 more 74 million votes shouldn't go to Georgia. What's the logic there Caylee? I'm curious, I might have to text you for you to explain that to me.

"Within striking distance of the target. I know you've got to get back to your team to actually formally win the election that you've already won, but last one last question. Your opponent has to certify her loss against you. That's just insane. Oh, well, absolutely. I mean, and I'm sure she will, because that's her job. And it'll be very obvious that she lost. But we've been asking her to recuse herself since we got into this race. It's not right. If you're running for governor that you're controlling the race, that you have anything to say that our elections. The whole system is messed up. And that's why when we get into office, we're going to pass legislation that prevents the Secretary of State from having anything to do with an election that he or she is part of. We'll have to legislate that, unfortunately, and we will return to election day. We're no longer going to have a election month in Arizona where we're counting ballots then for an additional one to two weeks. It's outrageous.

Kari Lake: We've Got Bad Elections and We Need to Reform Them

"A can of warpath like they have never seen before and I can't wait. Well, guess what? Why don't we connect 3 million patriots to her right now? Carrie Lake are you there? I'm here, Sebastian. All right, so we need to we need some good news from the ground in Arizona. We had homie Dylan yesterday say the GOP was running things, but they ran out of stinking printer cartridges for the ballots. What is going on, Carrie? You know, it's just the same garbage. We've been dealing with since 2020. And we tried to sound the alarm. I've been talking about it since the 2020 election. And everyone, the press, the fake news, tries to destroy anybody who spoke up. Oh, no, it was a perfect election. Don't look here. No problems here. We've got that elections. And we need to reform them. And what happened on election day was inexcusable, they can call it and mistake and honest mistake it's ineptitude to a level that is unacceptable. And we will no longer accept this in Arizona. It's embarrassing. And it's disenfranchising voters, frankly, when more than a third of our polling places had equipment that didn't work, we've got a major problem. And so now what we're doing is we're waiting for Maricopa County to count votes and they're going molasses slow. And we have over 600,000 probably closer to 650,000 ballots left to be counted. And of those closer to 400,000 are ballots that people had as mail in ballots, they walked them in on election day. They didn't want to put them in the Dropbox. They didn't want to put them on the mailbox. They walked them in. We believe we're going to get the major chunk of those votes, but they are not counting them yet, then slow walking this. And the

Get a bottle of aard bag scotch or something and just sit there and watch. But no, so she says on the view. She says that they say, what's the gutsiest thing that you've done? Mr. Anti Racism Ibram Kendi Thinks Standardized Tests Are Racist

"I want to weigh in on a very interesting skirmish. That is going on between the conservative black linguist, his name is John mcwhorter. And mister anti racism himself, the critical legal theory guru ibram kendi. I first learned about this from kendi not from mcwhorter, but kendi is attacking an article that mcwhorter published in The New York Times. The article is called lower black and Latino pass rates. Don't make a test racist. And ibram candi goes basically when you have a test and the facts are kind of clear. The test that we're talking about is called the association of social work boards test. This is to become basically a social worker. And it turns out that if you administer this test, 84% of whites who take the test pass it. But only 65% of Latinos and 45% of blacks. Now, I should say right at the outset that this pattern of whites doing better, Latinos doing less well, blacks, least well of all, applies to every test. No matter whether you're talking about a math test, given at the 7th grade, or you talk about the LSAT or the G Mac to get into graduate school or the firefighters test or the police sergeants exam. It doesn't matter what the desk was you name the test. If you administer it to a random sample of blacks, whites, Hispanics, and Asians, you will get this result. So this is what has to be explained. Why is it the different groups are doing so unequally? What ibram kendi basically goes is there are two possibilities. Either the test is racist or something is wrong with black people. And ibram kendi goes since we all know that nothing is wrong with black people. Therefore, the test must be racist. This is literally the caliber of reasoning. So ibram kendi is in a sense daring you to say that there is something wrong with black people, otherwise he's forcing you to admit that the problem is not with the test takers, but with the test itself.

And I get threats all the time, but everybody does. If you're going to do this, you got to commit to do it. And like I said, it is what it is. We're all about victory. John Solomon and Sebastian Discuss Elon Musk's Twitter Deal

"Day's a great day with John Solomon, but to analyze the breaking news, not just from Durham, new indictments that you are the expert on, but this news of what was it, 37 minutes ago. So to be honest with you, and I don't get everything right, only 99.9% of the time. Is that what rush used to say? God bless you, rush. I didn't think this was going to happen. At least not happen this quickly, accepting the $43 billion deal. Isn't this, you are a media Maven. This is social media, but isn't this really dropping a massive kitty cat amongst the pigeons of social media? Yeah, listen, it's an unusual deal. I mean, listen, at the end of the day, Elon Musk has the money to do whatever he wants with Twitter. He can make it better. He can make it a vanity play. He can make it what it used to be. And we don't know what his intentions are other than. He says he wants to get rid of the censorship mentality there. So I take him at his word because he usually delivers on what he says. So the idea that Twitter had to be bought in order to get it out of censorship is in and of itself stunning it. It shows you how far we've evolved from two years ago when we used to think that free speech was okay. Now we got Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton. Everybody out there saying, we got to send some more. We're going to censor more and Twitter was the main, one of the main efforts, the great censorship. Now it's going to be taken off the table. That's going to have a tremendous blow to liberals who want to keep exercising their censorship. They're going to lose one of the main high profile tools that that was done. Now, we don't know how the market's going to react, right? One of the things I do know is I've been talking to his team today, president Trump has no intention to go back to Twitter. So Trump nation is not going back to Twitter. But we'll see, do liberals leave it because they want more censorship. I don't know yet. Elon Musk is a brilliant businessman. We'll just have to wait and see what he does with the property.

Biologist Colin Wright Describes His Political Journey

"So have you seen that tweet from Elon Musk that everybody is talking about? Even Ben Shapiro had to play with it, put a box on it and say something about the overton window trying to be very, very, very smart. This is the image that Elon talked about that everybody's misinterpreting. It is a delightful image about my fellow liberals conservatives on one side of a scale in 2008. I got to remember this is radio as well. So we describe it for you. It's a scale. Then in 2012, what happens the left runs away from the center and last year in 2021, the progressives have gone radical left, the center has moved and they've pulled it and little on me is left in the middle, and I'm called a bigot. Why did he repost it? When did he get it from? Well, there's an individual who I reached out to when I saw him very graciously tweet, hey, thanks, Elon, for using my image. He didn't say, hey, dude, where do you steal it from? We're delighted to have Colin Wright biologist with us. He's the founder of reality's last stand. Welcome to America first. Yeah, I appreciate you having me on here. Thank you. So you've been a guest on my buddy's podcast trigonometry. I'm going to post that video guys, watch it. But let's get to this news breaking viral image. A lot of people don't get it. Explain what you meant by that time elapsed graph. Yeah, this really just explains my own political journey, the title for it originally had was my political journey. You know, I've been a lifelong Democrat. I've always voted Democrat in my life, voted Barack Obama two times, voted for Hillary and the first Trump election, and then Tulsi Gabbard in the last one. So Democrat Democrat Democrat. What I'm showing in that cartoon is between 2008. Let's put the image up while Collins talking. Go ahead. Yeah, so what it shows is between 2008 and 2021. I've remained in the same place. I used to be squarely on the left next to my fellow liberals, but over time the people to my left sort of ran out to the left, dragging the political spectrum out with them, and then dragging the center of the political spectrum past me so that I'm now basically on the right now. Even though I've just remained completely stationary and where I've been, my values haven't changed. But now I find myself in this weird position that you are currently finding themselves in, of being called a bigot for holding views that were completely normalized just 5 years

"But this this prank you know pranks pranks horror movies. Just a bad idea because it of course leads to. I don't remember exactly how they do this. But through some klutziness they end up unleashing. All of the yankee like they knock the. I think they knocked the candle over. And then the strips of writing come off of their foreheads and then they start hopping around attacking them so of course. The bumbling students need help from their master and these two students that the master they work for is played by changing lamb. This is the This is master cow the hero of the film and from moment you see him you know he means business. This is the moment when i noticed the uni brow when he first comes in and i was thinking like. that's not a funny unit brow. that's a unit brow. I respect yeah. He's serious and he knows what he's doing when he starts fixing the problem it gets fixed. He's fast he's deliberate. He's got the moves. Yeah speaking of move so it turns. This movie has an interesting combination of magic and martial arts so a lot of what mr how does to fight. The vampires is like doing spells and rituals and stuff like that but other things but but on the other hand it's also just like fighting its kinks punches and standard comedy martial arts. Maybe not quite as virtuosic as you'd see in like one of the comedy action movies of jackie chan but similar kind of vibe. That funny fighting. Yeah yeah it. it did. Remind me of some of the. Jackie chan films. I've seen where they'll be really great and inventive use of some sort of a set piece. A chair yeah. There's at least a little of the of that in. And i have to admit i'm not. I'm not well versed enough in hong kong action to know. If if what i'm watching and mr vampire is truly great comedy martial arts or if it's just like really good or even just decent but it certainly feels awesome when i'm watching it on screen like these. Are these are well-thought-out action. Sequences that realizing zing. Yeah same here. I i agree and so there are a lot of funny things to it. Like one of them is that actually when master gal comes in. There's another taoist priest with him. The sky wearing glasses who is in the beginning and the end of the film. And this guy Together they like. I think what they do. Is they bite their fingers and make them bleed and then they use the blood on their fingertips to touch the foreheads of the vampires to essentially pause them like freeze them in place. And i think again this is because of either something about the blood or it could have to do with putting the red color on their foreheads. But but it's funny. Because they will they will have to pause them in un paused them so for example the other priests at one point one of the vampires choking him and he puts the mark on the vampires forehead and it freezes the vampire but now it's frozen choking him and he asked to wipe it off..

"Sit down do that ten times. Every hour spent at least ten percent of the time you do working on doing some kind of movement you get up you walk around the office. You circle your arms. Do big circles right so you weren't shoulders and so it goes on so lots of stuff like that that you can do and i think we all know what we need to do. You just gotta have the will to do it. He and research do you know. Even when i used to go away away travelling and filming all the time you might have to start work seven or even a little bit earlier. But i knew that if i set by alarm half an hour earlier than i to gap i could just go for a run around the blow or do whatever or find a kind of like even just a long stretch of path and run up and down. And if i do that for half an hour. I would then feel like i've really started the day on a great no and it just it just really help and if you don't have time to do that and you're doing you know your normal work routine you could do in the habit of doing which is just run home a run as much as you can do at the end of the day and it kind of kind of doubles up. Kills two birds one stone. It's commute on work at the same time absolutely arrived. I think we're just gonna have to become more disciplined unless something you can't teach anybody they have. I should take gonna take the discipline in the hand and recognized that the healthier. You are the better you off every single person who matters in your life and also don't do it alone. Don't do to loan find a friend buddy right who may be just wanna walk fee at lunchtime is sitting at your desk and eating your sandwich. Gopher walk god. You don't have to walk so you get sweaty. "I know a lot of people when you go on holiday. They think that's the time to put your to mm-kay away but for me see for me. I mean if we if we get a holiday this summer. My gym k. Is like the first thing in the in the suitcase. Because i just love going abroad and going for run some were whole it gives me a chance to explore but also i just love every morning. Starting by ben it gives me a bit more confidence to kind of wear my bikini as well and just i okay. Feel like have erin the right to be here. I mean i think once you can do when you go on holidays that you can again moderators and said you can take days off. You can go. listen. I'm going to train every monday. Wednesday and friday Today's is when i'm going to not do any activity. That's good because giving your body. Arrest is actually quite good. Because when you do get back into fulltime running what will happen is that you now feel recharge. You've missed it a little bit. It's a bit like if you like steak and have it every day after while it gets boring but if you only have the other day you kind of look forward to if you only have once a week you definitely look for far more On so i do that. All the while intensive treats the way. I treat myself things i like. I have only occasionally and that way look forward to it. Feel like you're kind of like the agony and the academical fitness here as well with mr bush mr motivator come from by the way i mean the name because i mean it's is very good on a well chose name who thought it was a year. I personally think of it first but it's just one day. I was actually in a shopping center during a live. Broadcast and judy finnegan was into studio in the boon and she threw to mention says. I'm going to call it something. Like i'm going to call the motivator when i heard it being. There's a light bulb moment. I'm definitely going to adopt that. And that's what. I did and saw a registered mr motivator an ever since nineteen eighty eight of the mr motivated. You know. that's it any kind of fits in with what i'm about. Yeah absolutely well mr moussavi. If you don't mind if i put a few questions to maybe you could be like at the person that comes up with the solution so many many people have worked hard in the last year. Some of lost weight some of gained weight. Most of us have done booth a seven point. We've all you now. I guess never kind of at the other side looks like you know. There's late at the end of the tunnel and is taken to be disciplined and get into a rhythm with the day's getting longer higher. Can you do that when suddenly you're going back to work. You're going back to the way things used to be. I mean what we've got to remember is unnecessary earlier. It it takes at least twenty one repetitions something become habits so we've got into the habit now of working from home so we're going to have to reteach every recovery train our mind but we have learned so many positive things for the lockdown. The learnt was really important. We've learned that's some of the things that we used to spend a lot of time outside doing. We don't any longer lead to do it with the benefits of a hug. "Parkinson peeping the wheelchair loss on wednesday night. We get loads of people from the down syndrome. Association is about thirty in the classroom. That and then there's there's about another one hundred twenty five hundred and forty people and the cost mixed abilities ages from eight to eighty but this total inclusion with my classes that means no matter what your ability. You can find something to do. My wife is in a chair so she does things that she had shows people alternatives. And that way you make exercise own inclusive and that way everybody can feel. They're taking pot. Last night was so lifting. Jenny the down syndrome association the second week of join me i never. We is more and more people come along. The guy's a great latest great. It's just wonderful apps fan. They do what they can is a forty five minute calls. but it's the atmosphere is great and everybody loves. It is one of the things when you start doing forever. Exercise is whether it's going out for ron or doing a class. The minute you get into that group it such a lovely community. Tim about it. You know. i i have a smile on my my jaws your when you do an exercise cost or any activity. Your jaws needs these ache as much as the muscles. If it doesn't it means you're not really enjoy what you're doing a my jaws ache at the end of every evening when i talk about exercise activity jenny's coming from inside is from my heart and i read every word. I don't have to rehearse it. That's why interviews. I don't people don't have to send the questions. Saas thing you like because i don't have to make it up you know i don't have to pretend i'm telling every single person listening right now that the best thing you can do in your life the greatest gift you can give yourself is an independent healthy you and the only way you do it is by being active so right now you know you stop by sitting up straight and be proud of who you are and practice getting about about chairs often as you can right and it's just really easy to so many tips. I can give about how to get out of a chick and off the couch. Get off the bed easley but the most important thing is you've got to get your mind going on your mind is you're controlling force and that means you can do anything you could be anyone you want to be not new. They do say that. Don't they that the the hardest part is getting started is getting the doors gang your trainers on his. It's an one shift on that. You're kind of halfway there. You might as well you're doing it. You're but that's why i actually. I'm always critical of health. Clubs or gyms okola. They're like because the way they have become their stop serving you they give you the key. That's the only time they serve you and then they say let yourself in and when you're finished let yourself out not us wrong. What should happen. They should be holding your hand your rival the front door. The should hold your hand and guide you because you could be doing something incredibly wrong when you there and they and you don't know and they haven't even seen it. The only time you hear from jim is when you stop your membership then. Never call you up and go. We haven't seen your classes in the wild. When you're coming back you never hear that. And that's wrong thus why me. I've started doing my online club. Because as far as i'm concerned i want to create a community where people feel welcomed where it's not just about exercise about your well being where you can find information.

"Sold something like seven hundred and fifty thousand copies and every other video after that. Were selling like to three hundred thousand. In fact you know rico's have never been broken and what. Why did people buy into it number one. I was qualified. That was the first thing i was qualified to to talk about. Excising demonstrates do it And so people never ever questioned the excise. I was giving them. But what did i recognize. That early. stage is that people were put off by thirty forty five minutes of exercise. Put us by excise being too long. They wanted digestible amounts. And i used to do. Just ten. minutes is section. Was ten minutes so what i was trying to do with. China engage people to make them understand. If i get you to do ten minutes today. The chances are you'll do another ten minutes tomorrow because you found it easier the day before and then before you know what you're doing now seventeen minutes of exercise. A week is not great. Whereas if i said to you do thirty minutes every other day you go by the time i confident in and so on so my excises were always on digestible. It was always easy to do and it was never alone. I always had a load of exercise teaches in the video with me who always taught sentenced section. So again you're saying to people it's not just me. There's mother people on here and try the way they do it and try the way they teach and you'll get the benefits from it. 'cause they were huge. Do you remember when you release things as well. It was just make walls incredible. I think you did you follow on from madel. Is each member lizzy way was. She was on air like she. At's yes she was in the eighties right. "Of what you're about and you know the thing. Is we all work hard. Every single day to strive to get those all important things in our lives but i- richness comes from not the money that we have all those material possessions that we have bolt is all the things up. Money can't buy so the moyer to share the joy of exercise running with your partner with your friend. The better you will feel knows you'll have a body for life because when you're out there i guess what it will stimulate so many different conversations it will take two paces that after you've got to pay a lot of money to go to and also he's just one of those building blocks that makes you a better person in the end so bang on key exercise going never have stop. You see. here is mr motivator. I'm loving this chat already. It can i ask you. When did you start doing exercise. I mean is it just something that you've always done you know. The thing is in terms of me. Person was always things i did which i enjoy doing. I was always into karate and playing basketball. I hated p. I hate running across the fields in shorts. That were so short you can. You can tell exactly religion you had. I just didn't lie that guy. But i like kind of games. We are competitive. And then i. I moved to london back in. Nineteen seventy three when i did. I felt i had to be far more structured. Because i came from the days of boys brigade which paid a very important part of my life which allowed me to all those different activities from gymnastics boss to those things but when it came to london. I was away from the the kind of support mechanism. I had and i had to reestablish new friendships so i started going to the harrow legis center and then going to the harrow. Alleged center ice started running into lots of things. And that's where. I got my first of lightbulb moment when it came to fitness and that was in nineteen ninety-three wilkin into a hole. Where about one hundred hundred and twenty five women were working out to what was then called mobility and there's a different track went on. They do a different move. And and i was transfixed. That was the kind of moment that for me. I saw you know what. I'd love to be doing this full time. And but i didn't know where it would take me and i set up my own classes doing exactly what they were doing. Getting two ladies from that class to teach the classes full man. I learned what they were doing. Then it became derek's classes and and i found i was good at it. People will be traveling twenty miles to come to my classes. I would have on tuesday. I'd have one hundred twenty five people packed in doing classes..

"Hello there. Welcome to run poured with me jenni falconer and the whole point of this podcast is where we talk about the feel-good of running and it's to inspire you to get up and go there or perhaps it's to just keep you company on your runs to the just maybe you feel impelled to on a little further or little faster and also run. Port is here for you to if you're struggling to feign you're running more you. If you're looking for something or someone to give you that boost. You know that to just do it so today well could there be anyone more motivating than a man who is synonymous with the word motivation. He knows what to say when to say many of us grew up for. I'm spent our years watching him on the telly in the morning in his brightly colored light up. Please welcome to run to the one. And only mr motivator derek. Halloo their house. The best-looking arrived. I love the euro and run for it. I absolutely because we both words. Gmtv i came in actually just at the end of the time that you had spend their so we kind of passing ships for years. The nineties to me on breakfast tally. Is you doing a worker. You know what is amazing because all the people are running into nowadays all the work i get comes from people who used to be in front of the tv as children The parents usa supplant them in front say get on with it. And you can imagine the view behind the panthers sitting fag in the mouth and the cup of tea does generalizing. But you know what i mean. It's just great because all my work comes from the avenue and those people who remember me funding and thank god. I've never disappeared. I'm still here. I mean presumably with mr motivator as your title presumably. You've done something there and being active already today. Oh listen every single day. Because the determination of every single company out there to china look after the staff has increased more than ever. They're all very conscious of the fact that you know the the pandemic has gone on for long long while and so i get asked to. Do these talks that. I do for about twelve fifty minutes and also do twelve fifteen minutes of movement to music for the whole family and my talks are always focused on. You know looking after yourself feeling good about yourself but the exercise element is critical and it's critical for me. Because i think every day we must stop by doing something active when you walk in running. Oh just doing something in the comfort of your home. Yeah i mean what do you get if it when you're doing exercise high doesn't make you feel. Oh my goodness. That is such list that i could mention on. This is the place. I want to try and get everybody to get to because you know when it comes to any kind of exercise the moment you do it you start getting the happy hormones running around you bought a you feel good if you're outside running. I mean definitely. It's all to do with you know there's a place you go to visit place you arrive at. Which is which is great and i. I don't run long distances. Like my wife. I mean for me. I have to get it over and done with really quickly but i know place takes you to and how you feel. I mean it's it's true. It's not even if you're if you're having a bad day sometimes just getting there and doing something even if it's not for long it will turn your day earned over. Sure i mean you know..

Because here's the thing if you stop responding. I think it'll be less fun for them that they'll stop. I know these are not less fun. These are less fun options than spending seven years of your life dealing with this but don't want to spend seven years your life. You've got some options bit. Yeah just don't engage it will. It will feel less fun once. No one's playing the game anymore which is actually true to a. There wouldn't have been a show. The girls didn't fight back and rallied together with their friends. So the best way for you to rally together with your friends is by creating a wall of silence around this girl's attempts to engage this like good luck. We hope you survive reading for you. We really should do that. For the bonus episodes i. I'm down. i'm down. Especially if they're like once we get back to in person down our perfect we should do. A commentary track actually like mystery science theater but with pretty little liars. Little hit our little heads coconut. That'd be really fun. Oh my we have one email out. Should i read it. Yeah okay hi me troll slash jolt tra i. I am have a close group of eight friends. Who've known each other for years one of the couples and are groups getting married this summer because of the covert restrictions and because of the covid restrictions made a small intimate gathering with only family since. This was the case. Me and three other friends made plans to travel on the weekend of their wedding. It turns out they were also planning to travel to the same place for their honeymoon but a few days after we leave and our overlapped together as five of us. It's just a half a day at the destination trying to make the most of the situation. I told my friend who was getting married that we should try to fit her schedule so we could celebrate at the destination together before they went off and headed home..

"Pretty little liars names so like i feel like we've tapped well but mitri you must certainly have something something to start us off. Okay so okay. We've got so we've got like sort of the the original. I'm trying to think of that. What's the name of the hold on. It's like it's not but it's something like that. The girl who dies watching it all joel bonus episodes do feel that. That's what we have to do. So so we've sort of alison dealer. Rentis or mona va. Vander wal that to sort of these are spoilers for our listeners but gotta mona So modest sort of the outsider Kind of crazy one in the gulf coast so that sounds correct. Yeah sounds like that. Sounds mona no. No no no no mob and wall okay. Locked and loaded wasted all the good pretty little liars ones on that one up flying girl. It's reo grander wall. Except for the rent episode. I think probably our best working naming. I know when we can sort of organically find a theme. Nothing better nothing better. But we can't force it. That's the thing like sort of just have to land on the theme. Okay so as we know. You really can't just tell eight stop because a is going to keep going no matter what you do and the feed a feeds off your fear a love fear. That's the whole point so you have to find a to stop a so as we know with motive andrew wall you know. Maybe maybe it's a situation where you get this institutional our stay or something like that and that gives you enough time to sort of break into her house and like look around and find evidence that she's a and then go to the police but then you find out that the police officer is actually sleeping. With a member of the atm so the plot thickens and then the police officer turned up dead. And then that's even scarier because your mom is the one who hit the police officer with your car. So the point is this is going to be a nightmare and it's going to take seven seasons to us so you have to be ready for this to be an experience lasts for seven years.

"Walk down the street now without seeming of our millions and millions of listeners. But it was really cute to meet people in person who listen. It was nice. I agree i. I got food poisoning yesterday. Which was going on with you. You keep getting poisoning parasites. I think it's because i ate a buffalo chicken wrap at like midnight and something did not agree with my stomach. I don't know but it was like a really exciting time to do two shows in a row and i was really raw and honest with the audience. I was like y'all. I could rush off stage at any moment. I'm not gonna tell you which whole it is but it's my but you know I also had a buffalo chicken wrap yesterday so in some audio connected to my sister my sister. Wow and speaking speaking of amazing food. Should we take visit the restaurant. Maybe should we open things up. Another landing in wow. I'm so glad you really pick that up. Because i didn't think that you would. And you always always always always always have my back musically and only musically only with broadway reference with broadway references. Yeah let's do it. We do have one single cup day today. And i'm pretty excited about it And they they do an adequate job of filling in the gaps in the call. So i won't even preamble about it adequate. Hi res tie only term return jolt his birthday hunch who was dying if i should go to the brunch place to decide. The bans do rags for my birthday. So update my friends. And i we were like we must address this so we sent them an instagram message. It was like a four paragraph message explaining like why this is racist. And why matic and how they can do better especially there like a historically black neighborhood that is rapidly gentrifying in brooklyn and they just left it on grads. They like literally a few seconds after center. And i kept waiting the whole day and they just never got back to us so i can no. They're racist and they're just choosing to continue to be racist so update. We ended up making brush education elsewhere for the sunday. That was like the day after our birthday But on the day of my birthday so the day before the branch we had a birthday picnic which done by quickly escalated into like a party back at our place and we all determined schmolly so we should not end up going to brunch at all which was very disappointing. But it is and you all for your back Love you both face again by. Okay i have to say i think our advice was pretty hinged on that call we just said. Don't go i think. Some of our more hinged advice. But what i love is that was such a saga and it ultimately amounted to nothing. And there's nothing more urgent care than that exactly. I think they did the right thing. I wanted to go to this brunch place. And i think that like they did that. They taking the extra step of trying to educate the restaurant. I think is like really commendable and you should be really proud of yourselves for molly and not even making it out all my god who hasn't done that who hasn't done that..

"She plays in. Brian windhorst instead of our nba preview nba playoff preview or nba playoff review. Or something like that. The thing brian that that stands out to me is that all four teams that are still alive. Clinched the next round on an away court. I maybe that's been done before. I don't i don't know. I don't know that statistically it matters but i found it really remarkable and i think the first question to ask you and i hope you agree with me and if not we'll just move on to a different part of the interview. What was the most like surprising result to you in the second round. I like to say atlanta Because obviously the nets were upset but they but they had injuries yes oh atlanta atlanta is number five seat yes and atlanta is a team that has very little playoff experience. I don't think any of their starters have appreciable playoff experience and they go into philadelphia in game seven and their star player. Trae young shoots five of twenty three terrible game. Yeah we could argue who their second best player is but i think bogdonovich is argument. He gets he's got a bomb. Lake shoots two of eight and shuts it down. The second half can't finish and they win that game That is a You know that's an all time. I remember like in two thousand sixteen when the cavs one game seven of the finals in golden state teams on the road in game seven. We're and we're like a a ten ten or twelve percent all time. It was almost overwhelmingly sense that time. We've seen a handful of this happen. But the bizarre circumstances of atlanta pulling this out by the way. They've won five wrote games in the playoffs. This is a huge number for any team in history in two rounds for a team that has no playoff. experience It they amazing number. So i have to say they are in what's been a year of surprises. They are a leading surprise. Right now. good. We agree on that and that allows me to just go in the in the order that i prepared these questions because the next question is poor doc doc. Rivers loses in game seven all the time all the time. Sometimes he's been up three one and loses in game seven but he loses in game seven all the time. What does it mean would they fire. Doc rivers fired. Brian brown was that his name. Would they fire doc rivers. It's but bad week. For doc rivers tony. You know earlier this week tyron lou. Gets you know the sixers or the clippers in this remarkable comeback and. What's everybody if the clipper lan saying. Well last year they got three one and you know. Let go of the rope and completely made no adjustments and this year tight luther everything in the kitchen sink and it worked and they advance boy. Are they glad they have tyler which is code for. Aren't they glad they got rid of dock and then this happens and the thing about it is. I realized that joel embiid was Limited because of that need but if you watched him play he was playing it up very high level and so there is no excuse And you know just you're straight exit knows standpoint Tobias harrison. Seth curry are two. Very good place. Are they going to be hall of famers. No but they're very good players. And in the last round against the wizards when joel went down. Doc went to those two guys and said we're going to run a two gig. 'cause he couldn't go to ben simmons right so he goes to those two guys and they were great. They carried them out of that series. Not that washington was destined for greatness. The washington did win game four and having hopes of a comeback and it was almost like he forgot that those players were in the playbook. We're watching this team. Come down the stretch of a game seven and he's running nothing for them and i'm wondering tony. What's he doing these time outs. It's not quite as bad as the mike. Good holzer timeout. That will he. He was saved from goat horns for a long time by kevin durant being one inch inside the three point line. because that's right to your brook. Lopez came out of a timeout. Without knowing that there was only two seconds on the shot clock which i absolutely cannot believe and that will be lost history. And those guys are damn lucky. But that's digression as i'm watching this game go down. I'm like what about your other. Your other guys. Who got you the number one see. They didn't get simple and see just going to joel embiid. And that's what happened last year in the in the bubble when the clippers were just melting out there. You're like why won't they do something and you got the same sensation. Why won't the sixers do something. Why won't they fight. Why is there nothing coming and you know. What are you gonna say. Doc rivers was the sideline both arms. So you can't fire the gm. Because he got the after doc and he didn't put the team together and i'm not saying fire dog. 'cause i like talk. Everybody likes doc so now. It's all landed on ben. Simmons and ben simmons now everybody wants to trade immediately. Well you're not gonna get anything for ben simmons near what. Ben simmons is worth. If ben simmons could go to a psychologist if he could learn how to shoot foul shots if he could shoot seventy percent from the line. All of this goes away because then he's not reluctant in the fourth quarter to take any shots. He's a useless player on offense in the fourth quarter. And you can't have that right not in the playoffs. I mean i. I'd like to say to you. The useless is too strong of a word. But i don't think you're wrong And so you you you sum up there conundrum. perfectly ben. Simmons could be treated absolutely. I think if they put them in the market they would get off. There's a bunch of teams who really want him but the ever the not what he's worth right or not paying the premium and the reason they not paying the premiums. Because yeah if i'm in fourteenth place ben simmons he may help me get to be a fifth-place team and now i'm worth paying for but he's not gonna get to be a first place team and so i so it's a conundrum. And here's what makes my might break the conundrum joel. Embiid is due for contract extension. This summer he is qualified to sign what they call the supermax five years..

Brian brown ben simmons seventy percent kevin durant Tobias harrison two guys two Ben simmons five tyron lou last year joel embiid bogdonovich Brian windhorst joel Embiid Lopez brian two rounds fourteenth place
