"He's seventy four and he and cheese fifty two but John. Peters there's a dispute between these two mover who broke up with whom at the battle lines are being drawn Maggie. They're not only arguing about who broke up. With whom but who proposed a whom each one is saying that it was the other person's idea get married after this less than two week debacle and now John Peters is exclusively told page sixes Mara Mara. Siegler that that while they were married for twelve days he paid all of Pam Anderson debts to the tune of two hundred thousand dollars he said in an email to Mara. I didn't say anything I just wanted to be that we were going our own separate ways but when I read your article I felt the need to tell the true the story. He also said if she men controlling. I've paid her bills since she was broke. I bought her a completely new wardrobe. Ouch ooh Pamela. Anderson's team by the way said. "You. I don't WanNa be left out. Oh I don't have any kids though and I'm not really misunderstood maybe I'll just get the words caroline. Calloway follow me back on twitter tattooed on my forehead. Yeah that's a good idea. I'm going to do it. Are you sick of hearing me talk about. Pamela Anderson's twelve twelve day marriage to that guide. John Peters will guess what. I'm really sorry but I'm I'm not going to stop talking about it because it keeps on being so weird and so dramatic. Apparently John Peters the husband or I guess ex husband is pissed off because he's spilling a ton Han of T. about their short short marriage and he's basically implying that he paid off a bunch of Pamela Anderson's debts and then she immediately left him. Apparently this guy is like straight up emailing page six to try to set the record straight. He wrote quote when she texted me that she wanted to get married carried. It was kind of a dream come true even though I was engaged to someone else and the lady was moving in I dropped everything for Pam. She had almost two hundred thousand dollars in the bills. And no way to pay it so I paid it and this is the thanks I get. There's no fool like an old fool and quote. Oh my God. He's he's an old fool and also he had a fiance and just dumped her like she was moving. He calls her the lady. He says I was engaged. It's just someone else and the lady was moving in my God. What this guy seems very weird to me? He's emailing all of this to page six. I guess he's trying to prove that he was the one that ended the relationship and he sent page six. A bunch of screen shots of taxed. That they you keep referring to. They didn't post the screen shots which I really wish they did but anyway he sent them all the screen shots where he's telling Pam that he doesn't want to be associated with this website called Jasmine site. Where apparently PAM allegedly gets money from or something? It's all very confusing. It seems slightly shady. Clearly John is being shady by sharing all of these texts with page six. Which I guess? Maybe they even can't legally post just because they don't know if it's real or not he's now also responding to claims that she left him because he was too controlling by saying quote if she meant controlling. I've paid her bills since she was broke. I bought her a completely new wardrobe. I didn't WANNA say anything. Just wanted it to be that we were going our separate ways but when I read your article I felt the need to tell the true story and quote. She's Anyway Pamela. Anderson's Rep is saying that he's lying. Hang about all of this. And her shaded him in a statement by saying quote despite Mr Peters efforts to elicit a response from Ms Anderson Listen. She has no comment to provide and wishes him well and quote. Well John Young to page six. I'm sure Pamela Anderson's never I'm GonNa talk to you again and also You insulted that lady that you were engaged to before Pamela Anderson by calling her the lady are or maybe that's her name. Maybe her name is the lady. That's a good name actually the lady. Hey that's a good idea for a face tattoo. Maybe I'll get the lady tattooed on my forehead. Alright everybody that's our show for today. Thank you so much for listening..

"I'm so grateful and I'm so appreciative. Because there were so many people that I knew about that weren't as fortunate and you know I've had friends that have died of cancer and didn't survive and they wanna see me thrive and they would wanna see me perseverance. So I think that was probably the turning point with each surgery just instead of instead of getting angry about it I was. I became more appreciative. I became more grateful and I also think there's something to the idea that when you have to contemplate death in a real substantial way it makes you try to really explore what life means and I. I would imagine agenda that your desire to help people live in the most pain-free emotional and physical physical pain free way possible when faced with such adversity would probably become something that especially someone like you a Priority Hardy and I mean I look at you and I think about the progression in which you got here today in this space right now and I think there's there's no such thing as an accident when it has to do with with this. You're saving people's lives you are helping people thrive People people that were put in a box and forgotten about and people that are being thrown away now with this with this administration. You're giving people hope and so. I have to think that this was this was part of your path from the very very beginning. Okay two thousand sixteen comes along. The election happens. Rain trump gets elected. Yes so painful here. I know we'll never get over. But but what shifted. I know you were very very private person before all of this happened. Absolutely then trump gets elected dead and what changed for you well for me personally. My my focus during the presidential election was was listening to a man just with zero compassion for health. Care and talking about repealing and you know repealing the affordable care act and just from his interviews him not knowing what he was is talking about and you know it jolted me and in my heart. I had hoped that that would never come to fruition because for me the next step so the affordable care act was to enhance it and to make healthcare even more affordable but once he got elected my biggest. This fear was that he was going to repeal the ACA and he had the votes to do it because Congress I belong to the Republicans and they were like chomping at the bit to do that so I was like. Oh my God. It's going to happen and on that on that night. beat you know something really snapped in inside me because I just saw healthcare being torn apart the ACA ACA being repealed. I saw Medicaid being cut I saw Medicare being cut and it it. It frightened me and not just for myself but for so many people Sony people who depend on those healthcare systems. You remember what was at stake. This rolling healthcare back for millions and millions and millions of people and we were a forty eight fifty two Senate at that moment. The bill had already passed the House and we all knew if it got even to fifty fifty people are going to lose healthcare around this country because the vice president would break Italian and rollback this healthcare and Susan Collins had already committed Lisa Murkowski had already committed Lisa Murkowski. Who is the third republic can end? I had gone over to tack with John. He had just gotten back. He found out that he had this devastating diagnosis and he had been listening to the arguments that we have been making. That past week are spent a lot of time talking to John McCain in the days leading up to that we were very close. And we're all on the floor that night for the vote including the vice president who's wandering around and trying to make sure that all the folks are standing in line on the Republican side and we were talking about it and what he was going to do and all of a sudden he pointed about the Vesey said you to our right and it was then that I knew he was going to vote no one twenty nine. AM Senator McCain reenters. The Chamber Senate Majority Leader Mitch. McConnell stands at the front of the room like he had most of the night the grin on his face though quickly disappears. Mr Peters Senator Bernie Sanders appears to nudge senator. Jeanne Shaheen as if to say watch watch this McCain waves his hand to get the attention of the Senate clerk pauses for just a moment and gives a dramatic thumbs-down Republicans have been deadlocked on an overhaul effort of the affordable. Care Act since February twenty. Seventeen when the House introduced the American Healthcare Act the legislation collapsed in the Republican controlled Senate when the late Senator John McCain gave a thumbs down vote to the proposal.

"KABC. Leo, terell, the very very very very, fair minded, civil rights attorney and for Mr Peter Tilden a well deserved day off Mr. Tilden will return tomorrow our phone number one eight hundred two two two five two two two talking. I'm taking your phone calls next talking about this crazy. Big phony whole story the Jesse smollet story where they check the empire's star actor basically claim he was attacked because he's black. He's gay a new was placed around the neck. They apparently there was some allegedly individuals worry Trump hats, let me just mentioned this before I take your call. This is why it's so silly the two suspects who were arrested and release the black. They're black. Okay. So allegedly smollet was attacked because he's black and he's gay. And then there's another connection allegedly these two suspects bay know him. They work with him. There. Possibly one of them is his trip. Physical trainer. It's just so embarrassing, and they Kamla Harris before the story was developed. She's running for president. She's a US Senator from California, she called it a modern day lynching. And guess what? When they caught up with her today. This is what she said. So I will say this about that case. I think that the facts are still unfolding, and I'm very. Concerned about obviously, let me translate what she just said. I put my foot in my mouth fire. The press guy who told me to say that she called it a modern day lynching without any facts eighteen days ago. And now she said the facts are still being developed foot in her mouth. All let's go to the phone now you've been waiting so long. Let's go to our Ray Ray. Welcome to talk radio seven ninety KABC. Leo davis. Legal would always great to talk to you. I'm glad I stumbled across this show before but. I'm sixty. Is reminds you of what we're talk back when we were young men. About a salivating dog in a laboratory experiment. That's what all of this country's looking like, this guy is paying the perfect system. And you say we should. I bet ya UE movie won't be looking sharp. What he did he got to go see President Obama sixty times out here. I don't know what the world's going on with that century, but they say trigger mechanisms. Yeah. Of. I appreciate the analogy. But I'll tell you right now. This is the this is the the obsession with social media and people wanting attention spotlight on themselves and this guy on television. A famous actor. It wasn't enough. TV's a drug the attention. The obsession Rick walk the talk radio seven ninety KABC Alino. Hey, rick. A couple of quick ones. Listen to the Robin Roberts interview. I saw. At one point. He makes the comment about. Well, if I'd be believed if I said, these were Latinos or blacks, yes, I remember that if very specific impression that his. That on his statement that he said they were way. Yes. That's item. One good point. Is the other is it was the coldest day. Thank you. Three. Who before they go out? Those up says, hey, let's grab a rope. And some bleach just in case we went into somebody who's black and gay Rick. You're making my point can't disagree. I my personal opinion on the day. It broke I told my friends personally is a halt, and Rick how many people are walking out the streets walkie at two o'clock in the morning, you're doing three things to of illegal. Okay. Well, the other interesting point about that too is what reports was that? They were the only two other people seen on video that night wasn't a matter of trying to pick people out of a cast of several. They were the only two people. The only two people are gonna have a rope and a bottle of bleach. Thank you. Thank you very much. You should be you should be a lawyer because the obvious. Is is clear that was orchestrated. It's clear that that Jesse smollet. Had to expand his fifteen minutes of fame. He should be shunned. And as the previous caller just mentioned he gave the impression on good Morning America that the perpetrators alleged perpetrator. There aren't any white the two guys arrested were black. Black. This is an embarrassment. Rick from Hawthorn walking, the talk radio seven ninety KABC. I'm a Westchester alumni of eighty seven was there would you teach him. Well, thank you. Rick. Thank you for listening. Yeah. And I really liked this new softer side of you. You seem to come down a little bit of a love it other same guy. I just look Rick. I'm not a democrat or Republican. I look at issues once to independently of each other. And I guarantee you in two weeks, you're gonna hate me again. But go ahead. Thank you. You're you're doing a great job the other rich took some of my thunder. 'cause I was thinking the same thing. But it just goes to a bigger point that there's so many people in the media or so against Trump that they could come up with any kind of outweighing this story about supporters about Trump about anything just to get news publication run with it just kinda sad the way it is. And this is this type of story emboldened Trump's supporters, and they should be in both. They were accused of making this attack. It's a lot. I heard it is like, you know, I'm a Trump supporter, and and the people I know we don't act or behave in this type of men or you know, we appreciate people's different viewpoints. Just like, I appreciate yours. Yes. And I love you for it. Thank you. I mean, I hear what you say. And and this attack on on Trump supporters this guy had a vivid imagination. Because apparently what I find him as he is that now that the story has unravel. Rick. It. It's preposterous. It gets more and more preposterous. And I'm glad this this guy should be prosecuted prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. And I really appreciate you listening. And thank you for those fond memories when I was a schoolteacher at at that great institution Westchester high school. Let's continue with the phone calls. Are let me take what more can take one more. Okay. Let's go to Sonia. Weren't they? Call your call. They just wanna make sure I give you enough time. Hi sonya. Hi, good evening. Good evening. My my comment is that it is a hoax mister smollet is a liar. I think Tamila Harris had something to do with this all of a sudden she's saying that you know, she knows him and he's a really good person. And and this lynching and stuff I'm saying, you know, what she's hard up to get her presidency and make Mr. Trump. Look horrible. Because that's what it was annot us Trump supporters. We're just like the other gentleman said we don't get involved in things like that. And this is the most horrible thing that a human being can do and he should be prosecuted. I agree with you every Trump supporter should be vindicated by this situation. I didn't vote for Hillary didn't vote for Trump. But this was a direct attack on the last two callers who are definitely not in this this this image that Mr. smollet wants to portray and Trump supporters don't think that way just because you support Donald Trump. You're not anti black anti gay. You'll go around at two o'clock in the morning, putting a noose around people's net is preposterous. Democrats who are going to attack. Trump don't attack them on this one. You lose credibility. Kamala. Harris you lost a lot of credibility. Let's take a break. We're take more of your phone calls. This is talk radio. Seven ninety KABC were always live and local..

"So I think it's made that a unbelievable relationship. What you mentioned letting players be whoever they want to be, you know, Marcus Peters there cornerback has certainly been one of those guys Marcus, right? They talk and everybody. Yeah. Bill plastic learned that real quick too because Marcus Peters and Bill Plaskitt low back and forth the other day, I guess this was before the NFC championship game. Right. So here's how that went down evaluate your season. I think we ate doing you. You you personally, I think it. I mean, he's right. Yeah. Us right. But I understand. He he's trying to ask them a question about his personally, he took that alpha. And just said, no, we ain't done yet, basically. And he's right. They not done yet. But like you said, Mr. Peters is a different breed. You know, and he's being himself. You know, we we've seen him going to stands after people, you know, after fans who say and things so. Were you from homey? Yo so so again, I think the reason he's able to be who he is and play the way he's played all season lungs because he hasn't changed the type of person that he is either, you know, that's just that's just him. But but as a reporter when I asked a question like that I would like an answer from from you as pertain to how have you think your seasons been not right pertained to the whole team? Well, I'm Plaski basically went back at him. Again. He's like, well, you know, you had some ups and downs. And then, you know, it was like, you know, it he marches wasn't happy. It was the same thing. Probably. I think we do. And yet. It was guys. I mean, I think Peter's has a point you have to evaluate me after the Super Bowl or valuate me after this NFC championship. And then asked me that because what if the ball's out what if he gets to pick sixes, and you know, what I'm saying. But Mike that's one game. He's asking over a sixteen game Spain, right? How how do you think your season has gone now the one game in the Super Bowl is not going to change? Our season's going, right? You're he's still has some ups and downs. And but I mean, he's still a great, you know, cornerback. There's no doubt about that. But you know, you're not gonna wait 'til super and say, oh, I had unbelievable seasons because I had two picks. Right. One was a pick six we won the Super Bowl. Right. No. That ain't it. Yeah. Because you're going to get evaluated and full Laudi of water. Yeah. And football. It's a year to year sport for the most part. You know what? I mean like, yeah. Their quarterback position. Probably is the only one that avoids that for the most part, but it is year to year, your contracts are not fully guaranteed right monopoly money. So if you're the Rams, you know, they're gonna valuate him as. The end of the season. So that's why Bill asked that question. Just to get a thought of how he felt his season went, and he told you it's a fair question. You know what I mean? But we ain't done yet. Right. I think we won't do it. So I think we're done here. This segment though, coming up next Jeanie Buss was on the Zach Lowe podcast Byron. And she talked about a number of things that have gone down during this Laker season. Thus far we're going to hear from Jean-Yves. You haven't heard that stay tuned. We'll get to that. In just a second. Byron Scott hanging out Saddam show, ESPN Sodano show here on ESPN LA..

"Welcome to over thinking it where we subject the popular culture to a level of scrutiny. It probably doesn't deserve the over thinkers, like your smart funny friends from the internet. We're never happier than when we are hanging out together. Talking about the things we love, you know, we we love them. And we love them more when we share them among each other. And we love them even more when they're under attack from from slanderous voices in the critical community. I Matt rather I'm here with my good, friends, Mr Peter Fenzl. Hello, pete. Hello, Matt, Mr. Markley. Hello, mark. Hey, Matthew, and Mr. Stokes? Hello, jordan. Hey, always a pleasure to have you on the show, Jordan. Thanks for joining us. Thank you for having me. Thanks. That was I was it turns exchange between between the two of us. At least. You're you're not as mad. Add at me as Indies old flame was when Indiana Jones showed up in her bar after she just wanted drinking contests. What that's right. We were moved this week to talk about raiders of the lost ark for particular reason. And to go into what that reason is Mark I understand you were doing some podcast listening this week because this what is this? What you do when you're when you're taking care of your son and jeopardy is not on a no, it's what I do what I commute out did before the sun came along. So let me set the stage for you here. Well, actually, okay, very briefly, the lead into this is that I was listening to a podcast, and they criticized rate is of the law start basically for being racist, and sexist, and we're here to talk about that. Because there's a lot to say about that as well as great as the lost ark as well. Which I still enjoy it to this day for reasons. We'll get into a second. Okay. So let me is that the scene for you. Listening to the late political gab best, which is if you're not familiar with it say it's decidedly like left of center, but feature is talking heads from mainstream media outlets like the New York Times. And I believe CBS news and at the end of their podcasts after the talk about the latest stuff about Trump and the shutdown and so on and so forth. And you know, the the great political subjects at the day. They had a segment called cocktail chatter, and it's like they can either talk about an interesting book or article that they read or a thought or concept that crossed their mind and this time it was one of the hosts David plots. If you must know who says this little nugget with the rest of the panel and says that he introduces ten year old son and one of his friends to the movie raiders of the lost ark. And this is how he criticize I'm going to quote verbatim from him. He called it. A disaster called the most disturbing racist movie seen in a long time is it was basing. And he says the thank God the world has changed this. This is. Disgrace. And it issue not show. It's your kids under any circumstances. And the reason for this criticism was basically, twofold, one is that all of the ethnic minority characters in this movie are either evil or scheming or just in general subordinated to the actions of the white people in the movie, the protagonists and the attack in Indiana Jones, and the Nazis and the other one being that the female character role, the only one of note in this movie, Marion raven would maybe kinda gets off to a good start as being some anew with agency and control over the narrative, but then as resute reduced to a damsel in distress. And for those reasons David plots of the slate political get us at this movie was awful. I don't really agree with that. But I think there's plenty of room for discussion year as the interesting ideas that are brought up from the podcasts. So. Guys. What do you think is right as the lost? Ark. Awful connect canal offer one just one observation about this or one stipulation that I think that we should make..

I think is you have issues I think maybe just grasping things outside of your own concept zone may because I just remember like my penis. I didn't notice it much until like I started to get some hair down there. And then it looks like more look bigger than it used to. Yeah. See I wish I would have had that had that expected. You have people talking about your peanut. Yeah. I do people seeing it. I'd have my buddy fucking try to grab it with both hands enough to get it. Back from him. Come on. Yeah. Take a whole genus. What would you do you flashing around? Like look at this. You little now. I was embarrassed of it you embarrassed if your penis. Yeah. I had a lot a lot of shame. But one main and he actually died. He died years later. Not doing anything, you know. Pedophilia. Yeah. Is that a word pedophilia? That sounds like some you would sip on. Actually at a train station. Have you always been sort of this quick smart ass funny center of attention, high school, take me back to Louisiana? Okay. Well, let me think about what it was like back in Louisiana. Well, you know, I grew up in the stray animal belt. And so we had a lot of you know, I grew up a lot of animals running around. So if you wanna pitcher, you know, an environment you have to put your animals in the background, or at least the sounds of animals animals, Barkan cats and raccoons fighting Theo's eyes are closed right now, by the way, he thinks as he's talking. Yeah. I'm catching some rest, keep going cats and raccoons fighting, you know, like one time a mailman came down the street with a twelve gauge shotgun and just shot. Everybody's fucking mailbox off the fucking post like the males done, you know, like, no more mail. Yeah. That's it. It's Christ like fucking he'd had it. And but we were grateful. He didn't shoot anybody. That's a good thing. It was like, oh, man. You know, Mr. Peters getting it out of his system. Mr peters. What happened to Mr. Peters? What happens to a lot of those people? I think you know, a lot of them usually in fucking kill themselves, really or just delivering themselves straight to the devil.
