"In situation you could think of. On the way to the embassy finals. So he's giving Anthony Davis Ah, whole lot of credit. He's getting warmed up. But don't you for a second believe that they don't get into the finals. They don't get into the playoffs and Guess who's going to take over? It's gonna be LeBron. He's going to make the correct past. He's going to make the right read. He's going to do what he needs to do to win, But when it balls down, he may say, OK, it's time for me to do it. If he sees that Anthony Davis has picked up and is capable, then he'll go ahead and let him shine and do it. What? The Clippers. I don't think they have that same continuity. Paul, George and Colon Leonard. They haven't rocked together all season like that. You'd think about some of the other players that they've brought on. Where's the Where's the continuity? Was the chemistry. We haven't seen that. You know, it's a gift and a curse. You wanted to give Koala Leonard. You wanted to give Paul George you wanted to allow them an opportunity to go out and be healthy so you can go on that run. Well, nobody expected Nobody could have predicted that we'd be dealing with a pandemic that would pause the season. But the reality is what you decided to do in the Clippers regard by keeping them healthy. They didn't play. You guys didn't play together. And then you brought in guys are Marcus Morris. You also have Reggie Jackson, who you brought in. Sometimes. Reggie Jackson thinks he's better than the baseball Reggie Jackson. You know, so you have a lot of personalities on that team and what the depth chart looks like. When it's time to take the shot. Okay? It's Kawai is Paul George. But you have some other gunners on that team who, just sometimes they can be a little bit of a black hole. So I like the Lakers and I agree with Anthony Davis. The rest is going to help them. Why? Because one of the oldest, a matter of fact, the oldest superstar future Hall of Famer in the N B. A. His name is LeBron James. Rest isn't going to do anything but help him. It's not going to do anything but help that entire squad. And so, Yeah, I favor the Los Angeles Lakers, so go ahead and win the title. I think they want the title over the Milwaukee Bucks and then Milwaukee bucks. I don't think I have the same odds of even getting there. Who the hell knows what happens with Johannes. And then you have some of these other squads in the east that that might get hot. You know, Joel and beats that ham ready to run. I don't I don't see the Sixers. Knocking off the bucks, but I like the bucks. I think they have the best times of going to the finals. And look, it seems that want to compete. The teams that have wanted t get things started from the get go have been the superstars. LeBron wants to add to his legacy. Johannes wants to say, Hey, I can be more than an M v p. I can actually go out and win the title. But when it balls when you boil it down I like the Los Angeles Lakers. Not a doubt in my mind that arrest is going to help them. Anthony Davis had a good point, especially for in older LeBron James and an injury prone or what has been an injury prone. Anthony Davis. When we come back from break, we're gonna have Bob Arum on the line. I'm broken down. We're talking about N ba basketball. They a lot of variables for them. They even get started The Orlando Magic. They had a short bus ride to go into the bubble. But we have a whole lot of other teams that are going to be on their way. And I want to ask Bob Arum. Hey, you got boxing up and running. House is going to be for the N ba. What do your thoughts on the NFL What challenges are they going to face as they try to restore restart boxing one on one sport. No team. You only have a camp. You have a trainer N B. A. I mean, it's sending full parties of 30 plus people to try to help run the team. Not the same. So don't go anywhere. You're listening to the jr sport. Brief show right here on CBS Sports Radio. When we come back, we're going to chat it up with top ranked promoter head of the promotion company, Bob Arum. But right now it's time for a news break here is Mr Marco letting.

"Marco Collins is a big fan of breakfast best eggs benedict pancakes bacon and eggs. But how did those foods become the designated breakfast foods. We'd all kinds of things for lunch and dinner but breakfast purpose is entirely. Its own thing my whole life. I've been hearing you know. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and I wanted to know where that came from because when I started looking around it's just a marketing scheme right yeah. It was the whole first generation of people who invented breakfast cereals. That's Bala he's a history. Professor who specializes specializes in food history at the University of Pacific in California. He says before the fifteenth century people didn't really eat breakfast and when they started to they ate the same foods they ate for dinner. You know people used to eat leftovers from the last day or some bread and I think as people increasingly began to work in places is where they didn't live convenience became a real matter and the perception that this stuff was healthy. And you needed it to fortify you. For the day was entirely a marketing scheme. You can look at the stuff. Throughout the twentieth century. They told us was healthy to eat. Spinach and Popeye himself was invented by the spinach. Marketing Board you know and the I did. You should drink orange juice first thing in the morning while the Orange Marketing Board figured out that so I would take much of twentieth century nutritional advice with with a grain of salt because it was all promoted by people trying to sell you the stuff in nineteen forty four general mills launched a huge ad campaign for grape nuts. The tagline was eat. A good breakfast do a better job and the radio. ADS said nutrition. Experts say breakfast is the most important meal of the day a Ha- that is where it came from so people made shirt eat breakfast and they often ate cereal because they were told it was healthy and it used to be back when it was first invented. At least that was the intention back in the day John Harvey Kellogg and his brother William Keith. Kellogg were running the sanitarium in Battle Creek Michigan. And that's where where the seventh day adventist church was also originated. That's culinary historian. Heather aren't Anderson author of breakfast a history. The Kellogg's were seventh day adventist S.. Who believed that health was connected to righteousness Dr John Harvey Kellogg who was a disciple of Sylvester Graham inventor of the original healthy Graham cracker issued issued caffeine alcohol spicy foods? Sugar White bread meat. Graham and Kellogg believed masturbation was the greatest evil and eating healthy bland foods and only whole grains would quench all sexual desire and they would get these really wealthy clients who would kind of come to do like the predecessor. Assessor of like Hashtag clean eating and they'd come stay at these sanitary which acquaint like more strict versions of day. Spas where where you go and get on this clean Diet Kinda hit the reset button on your body. Do all these cold water baths and exercise regimes. And you know weird enema. Does it was all part of this program that wealthy people would go subscribe to you and one day the Killa guys were in the kitchen cooking some cereal and had to run off when they got back they realize they had left the stove on and so the the cereal which had started out Moshe. Was this really weird. Hard substance substance and there was so much product. They didn't want to waste it so they thought they would try to figure out what they could do with it. And so they spread it out onto these rollers enrolled into these very aretha sheets and it Kinda broke up and crumbled and so they fed it to the people and we'll staying at the sanitarium and they liked it. And so the Kellogg boys these were like onto something. The problem was that the corn and a lot of grains they go rancid so fast because of the fat content. So William William Keith. Kellogg suggested that they add some sugar and salt to it to act as a preservative but John Harvey Kellogg was adamantly opposed to that. He didn't WanNa add any preservatives. He wanted to be very healthy and low sugar low salt and so they really could not see eye-to-eye on this at all and it ended up causing this permanent fraternal rift. That they never mended. Will Keith Kellogg went on to start the Kellogg's company which you know we know of. Is the cereal company today today. And then John Harvey Kellogg State of the Sanitarium and and it's funny because the there is so much sugar in Kellogg's cereal products and not even just the kid cereals but cornflakes flakes are so high in sugar that you can't get them using your wick benefits because they exceed the maximum sugar allowance to be covered by women infants and children benefits. What's that first serial invented the kelloggs cornflakes back in eighteen? Ninety four and it was dry and bland just the way they wanted it to be and it had to be soaked. acton milk to become edible but it really caught on and by nineteen o three there were one hundred cereal companies in Kellogg's town of Battle Creek but it wasn't until nineteen twenty eight that will keith. Kellogg had his next big hit. That is when he perfected rice krispies and by the Nineteen Forty S. When women started going off to work while the men went to war they they needed a way to easily feed their children and the ads pointed women too cold cereal? This started the whole culture of eating process. Quick to prepare breakfast in America so I think most of us have not all of us have grown up thinking. Cereal is totally normal breakfast but if you think about it it's not actually a great way to start the day it's just pure carbs and sugar. There's no protein to keep you fall. There's nothing to feed. He'd your brain. It's basically desert or like having the entire breadbasket when you go out to dinner but the cereal companies have conned into thinking. It's a good healthy healthy breakfast if I could have one take home lesson for your listeners. Is that they should explore the idea of having super breakfast. I'm team soup when it comes to weird breakfast foods. Tell me more well besides just puzzle. They would just a great hangover cure fuzz. Great Hangover Cure fuzz. One of those things you can just this get nine in the morning here in Portland Oregon All the Vietnamese restaurants opened early. And it's usually I see like little old men eating FAA at nine in the morning and and so I started kind of getting my head around this idea having breakfast soup and now it's like pretty much my most standard. You know breakfast choice. I mean we awesome spicy soup. Kimchi stew for some noodle soup. And I just feel good all day like hydrates you because Ken said exactly the same thing I went went for about three years eating noodle soup for breakfast and got a book out of that but it was every single day I would make a different noodle soup but I stopped that just because I got kind of bored with it so usually what I'll I do. I would say maybe fifty percent of the time. I eat pizza for breakfast which I make on the spot. Sometimes they don't have a lot of time. I'll use a flour tortilla and put cheese on it and sometimes tuna or ham or that stables or something like that. It's just wonderful for breakfast so you will bake a fresh pizza in the morning for breakfast. Yeah this morning I didn't. I actually had only because I had a decent baguette from the bay area. You probably know acme bread and it had found some duck pattase so I had hatay and cheese and all of for breakfast. This morning was good. I am one hundred percent team can and heather. I have always preferred eat leftovers for breakfast. Like Leftover Spaghetti or leftover. Chinese food is the fast but our culture tells us we're supposed to eat eggs and bacon toast and cereal for breakfast because that is a normal thing to eat. But it's actually an American thing. It's not a human woman thing in Japan. The traditional breakfast bread is me so souped rice fish pickles in Israel. Typical breakfast is cheese and a chop salad. Some smoke smoked fish. Maybe some shock Shuka and the fact that we're conditioned to eat three meals a day with also invented by our culture and we think it's physiologically necessary also. We think you can't be healthy in function. Unless you have something for breakfast you can train your body to do anything I think in terms of like evolution. We'd probably probably didn't eat regular meals for hunters and gatherers. Whenever they had sued at hand or hunted something in captured it? They ate a lot and then they'd probably fasted for for for days and whether it's necessarily healthier foods or not but we certainly can go a long much longer than we think with food where we're conditioned socially to think. Oh I'm hungry angry because it's lunchtime and they better get something that's a good point. He never thought about that before. Like the ancient man was not snacking probably or they. He was snacking all the time time that was having little nibbles here and there. And that's another argument that hunters and gathers mostly gathered. They don't come except on rare occasions. I'll get a big kill. But they'll the eating berries and nuts little than plants that they gather all throughout the day. Let's get back to our breakfast. "Shock. Good morning. Welcome back to the inside outside guys, laughing, and learn and twenty four seventy inside outside guys dot com. The inside outside guys on Facebook. That you can't get a hold the inside outside us. There's no excuses Ed, you can text us during the week anytime guys, and I s o s g dot com. Wow. I kinda Chuck do finally finally Levin and a half years into it. You got it. Okay. You're just talked earlier about next guest is coming out for years. I've, I've patronized the rock shop. I've got it. I do. I don't do a lot of work. Didn't do a lot of work on our yet. Hey, there, you don't own any money on your account. Their day gift stick, never had a chance to get into counter. I've gone. Okay years. I never had a chance to get an account there. And if you're out there, and you live into Plymouth canton, lavonia area, and you have not checked out the rack shop you're doing yourself at this service. And right now, we have Mr. Marco's Capucci, who is the founding, president of the rock shot for the last forty five years, Marco are you there, sir? Yes, sir. Beautiful outside. It's going to rain. Yeah. You're right. You're right. You're right. But I imagine rock shops got to be pretty happening in place this time of year. At the time it has to have a little bit of sunshine, every damn is the sunshine. We're really busy. Yeah. You got twelve acres of things for people to see one. Explain a little bit to our listeners. What exactly the rock shop can help them with? Well, we everything inside or outside. We have a stone fireplace inside stone for outside, they have largest selection rocks and stuff like the hardest gapes. You'll find in area, you'd probably go half a dozen places and still find more stuff at our store shopping all day. No, I believe that. Just unloaded a container heard, you guys talking about containers, just so loading containers of pots from Vietnam to really pretty. Yeah. Good. Now you. Whether professional or a homeowner I come to your storing get exactly what I need it. When I mean mulches is there kind of mulch or stone that you don't have their not that I aware of, I'm sure somebody can find something I don't have a. We have a very, very large selection. We take care of home owners and the contractors that we really do specialize in giving the homeowners tension. They need to pick out the nice things that, you know, that, that there's out there. We, we shop all around to get the nice things. Now if I'm if I'm a homeowner and I want to try to take on a job myself. Let's say I want to try to put a paver Patty when I've never done it before how can the rock shop helped me? Well, we're going to watch the bring a picture of your house, and some rough measurements. We're going to design something with you show you around tell you how to do it. If you're not comfortable doing, it will get you will recommend somebody who's going to help you or do the job for you. Okay. So you're you don't just help. Landscapers homeowners as well. You'll make sure if it's done right. What are some of the big trends, you're seeing Marco right now a landscape? What does everybody want? Well, we have a brought out a new company for the Michigan area, Teco block has a really nice, pavers walls, a lot of colors and textures a little bit. Fancier than the average fire pits. Big outdoor kitchen outdoor living make your backyard beautiful. You know, it's that seems to be a very popular say right now mulch is really big right now because of the spring. We also have decorative stone, which a place of mall if you don't feel like replacing every year or two they got nice stone that you can put in. Oh, that makes all the sense in the world. So the rack shot can help me I like the idea if I bring, if I bring some good pictures of what's around my house, you guys can actually provide a design services, well as the specification and the install special for the customer, not, you know, not a class, where teachers, everybody do something we help you do your project and one hundred one no charge. I like that a lot. And I hope that people take advantage of that because there's such a difference between a I think I might deal this and a little of that, and professional design. Yeah. And the picture is the best way end delivery. You guys will deliver pretty much anything. You have there will you not anywhere in Michigan? Yeah. Anywhere in Michigan. We deliver every day since Sunday. Are you open? On Sundays Marco. We're not opening Sunday. One day off. I like that. I really liked that a lot. The one day we need to we need to have arrests. I'd say now I know a lot of times when you deliver people are worried about their driveway as they should be. What do you do? How can you put people's mind at ease a little bit when they're when? That we've been doing it for nearly thirty years. Delivering people's driveways. Before that I used to poor peoples driveway. So I know what to do. What not to do? We have specially light trucks, we don't bring those big monster trucks on your driveway, so we have late wait, trucks, and we know what we can do without break into driveways. My insurance company like me because I don't have been dry way claims. Because that's, that's a fear. That's a fear from a lot of. So another thing to rock shop can do here as well. If somebody just wants to take their patio and make a look pretty, again, you guys have all the sands and all the sealers you need their. Yep. Yep. All the all the. Eric sand. Nice breathable sealers, that don't get people in trouble. Yeah, we've been doing it for a long time. We try to keep people out trouble. Okay. Well, we're looking forward to have an Iraq shop continue as a team partner of the inside outside guys continue to refer people, your way for any other landscape needs. Michael, thank you so much for coming out with the earth. Thank you. Have a great. Thank you, sir. Thank you very much. Appreciate that. You know, I've been going there for years. And if you're looking for something outside, whether it's pavers stones fountains that decorative stuff, they have their Chuck is really amazing really S twelve acres. I mean, that is up bunch of property to have product and they have it really spread out Nicey the way to go in the way to get out parking. It's not stressful at all. And you know, they're going to be very business time year, if you happen to stop into the rock, shop, make sure you tell them that the inside outside guy said, I'm still tackle buyer. I still want to see it. I still want to touch it care if it's a couch or, or racks for my house, I still, I love the idea of being able to do that. I agree. I agree on it cool. Yeah. I think most people when it comes to their, their front yard or their landscape, if they can do stuff themselves. They preferred to do stuff are some things arguably you and I would agree that, you know, DIY, here's our. Oh, sure. Heck, yes. Oh, sure. Yeah. Perfect place for you heard Marco say, just take a picture. And that's your best bet. I mean don't ever start any project without having sun. Some kind of plan. But that is your best back, take a picture ask the questions and, you know, one of the things that a company like the rock chef can do for you. They can give you a master design and then you can implement it over maybe two to three years. If your budget doesn't allow you to do it all at once. Yes. If people don't think about that, and they'll also prioritize it for you, then. Well, if you're going to do it in three steps, this ought to be step one agree agree. But if you plan on working all day, Sunday, Saturday and Sunday and your backyard. Make sure you get there, Saturday immature because now open on Sundays, and I like that, sir. You and I, both do, of course, we were, we were just little ones when the last or open on Sunday. Had to plan ahead. What a concept. Hey, we're going to be taking your calls for just a few more minutes when we come back. Eight eight eight six five four guys you heard Amy and felt last week from Scott's combined,.

"People ask me why I always talked trash I'm zuri. And I know some of you know, I used to live in Kansas, and I live right on the border between Kansas and Missouri and lived in Johnson county, which was kind of an upscale community and Missouri was was was like going over the Missouri side was going to downtown. And so I I don't know. I just I we always talk about when people say you've from Kansas City, they say, oh, Missouri or Kansas. And I always say Kansas on the good side. And it became a running joke when I would say that and then from there at morphed into. Missourians or a bunch of backward. Hillbillies, you know, who are who don't brush their teeth and who don't understand basic concepts of hygiene in economics. And so I when I say stuff like that is meant in it has meant in love. It is not meant to be anything more that just funny, and please don't take it as anything. But that 'cause I know some people who listen to this show. Oh my gosh. She's really being hard. What is it that he has against Missouri? I have nothing against Missouri. I just everybody needs a whipping boy and Missouri's that to me. So joy it laugh along. It's funny. Now, let's talk about these fuel taxes the yellow vests now that these guys are the yellow vests. I don't know how to pronounce it in French. But they are the protesters who have been engaging in not protests, but riots over the proposed new carbon tax that's going to raise gas prices in France. And finally again, I keep. I keep wondering when this is going to happen in California. When people are going to finally say, I have had enough of this, no more taxes. No, more abuse. No, more theft. I'm done with it. But it's apparently happening now in France, and it has been so severe and is continued for so long that now their prime minister has told the news conference Tuesday that the tax hike would be pushed back six months. The worst riots in to hit Paris in a decade erupted during anti-government protests, Saturday, leaving the city shopping and tourist center dotted with burning cars. Broken. Storefronts? Protesters vandalized the arc Triomphe rattling Mr. Marco's administration and the nation, quote, no taxes were threatening the unity of the nation said, Mr Philippe. He's the prime minister, by the way. The protesters have become the protests have become a test of Mr. Marc owns resolve to forge ahead with his broader agenda, particularly his pro business overhaul of the French economy Tuesday's well. It's not what what what do you mean? His it's a test of his over over all overhaul of his agenda, which is an overhaul the pro business French economy and posing a new tax on gasoline. That raises prices is not a pro business move. It's very anti-business move. It is not only does it increase taxes increased costs on virtually everything that that fuel has to transport. And I wanted to speak to something because this proves a couple of things. Number one. There's an influence tactic being used here. I wanna share with you. Secondly, I want to show you what happens when a small group of people finally become fed up with what's happening, and then I wanna speak to the legitimacy of violence to achieve one's ends. So me tell you speak first of the influence piece of this. So the objective here by the French prime minister is not to have a change of direction. But rather to try and limit or eliminate or put down the riots that are happening in France. Now in order to do that he is decided to push back the tax by six months. So he's he's trying to act as though he's giving a concession in the hopes that this will appease, the French protesters who were probably already tired of protesting who are looking for a reason to back down. And by offering them, a six-month reprieve what he's hoping is this will end this will end the violence. It will put a temporary cessation to the rioting and. Then they can institute the tax under the cover of confusion under some other under some other catastrophe. That's happening in six months and the tax will go off without a hitch, and they'll be able to get their tax without continued violence. So it is a it is a delay tactic and influence tactic used to try and appease the opposition. They haven't said they're changing anything..

The Donald Trump kept the Senate he concentrated on the stand. He got two more Republican senators, the the moderate Republicans are the ones that fell apart seventy percent of the Republicans voted that were opposed to never-trumper. They lost the moderate Republican enemies of Donald Trump. Yes, that's correct. It's a good point. Many of them lost the great pretender lost. And it's good because the Tampa with Donald Trump the conservatives. And now the Republicans now are more in tune with Donald Trump and he loved him, and we'll support him, and they will put a stop to this nonsense calls in peach. But lucianne I want to I want us to want to come back to when you were said, you know, that Trump is doing things and you disagreed with me Patrick from Charlestown. I didn't say that Trump's not doing he is doing some things. But my my point my criticism is. Am I not allowed to say? I'd like him to be doing more. But what can what can he do? Listen, they try, you know, the last Senate term for lack of a better word the Republicans head on the table for arts of Immigration Act to allow the doctor and the and the dream is to stay in this country. The four points that Donald Trump and the Republicans supported was to put an e verify visas heavily controlled. Let me just jump in. No. I I'm glad that didn't pay my my that's that. You you're hitting the nail on the head. My criticism. Trump is even giving. Is even a green to give DACA path to citizenship because that's amnesty, and one amnesty will lead to another. And I think it's so bad that that failed. Yeah. I'm a very very conservative when it comes to. So do you. So the point is is that Trump. He's already taking so much heat. Right. And I like he's trying to like I see, and I will give him credit that he's trying to compromise with these, you know, left wing, socialists, globalist Democrats, but what I'm saying? Yes. What I'm seeing for Donald Trump is forget it. You don't you? Don't compromise with dangerous. You don't compromise with America, killing you are, greedy and your ground. And you say look for DACA, we feel very sorry for these children. But but we set a very bad precedent. You don't just let people bring their kids here. And then let them have citizenship twenty years later because then it's game over, and is it should be just because we say no to Dhaka does not mean that we are in some unsympathetic would I push back. And if I were Donald Trump, I always say, you know, what stop telling me, I mean, because I won't give DACA amnesty? I'm going to tell you that Dhaka and people's support data your me 'cause you're the ones who are keeping the people in all these other countries hunter Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico who waiting in line. You're the ones who are putting those people's lives in danger because you cut the line and you make it impossible for us to have real immigration policy. I agree with you hundred percent. That's absolutely beautiful. And it's a bright. Light. And I loved what you just said. But unfortunately, there are traded in the Republican party didn't try to sabotage Donald Trump is this term. And I'm glad that seventy eighty percent of them loss. The moderate that try to sabotage his. Doing anything having Yoder Yoder one of the like he was terrible on immigration. He's gone. So there were some good Carlos Hispanic Republican from Florida. He lost he lost. But by the way, you know that they're coming. They're coming and they're this two or three caravans coming and they're coming. And I I'm telling you that these socialist Democrats. I don't understand why people don't they understand that democrat, the modern-day Democrats open borders, and I it gets me frustrated even at work. I mean, I'm Hispanic, but I'm absolutely opposed to this invasion. Donald Trump can only do so much. Listen, what do we have? We don't have. We had open. We have Bush. He was open borders. Basically, we had Donovan was basically open the Democrats. I keep on telling people at work modern day. Democratic Party is the open borders. Anybody goes? Because white leaving the Democratic Party. They need people of color third world people. And I get upset I'll end ended by changes. I get upset with African Americans eighty percent eighty five percents still vote democrat. They've been brainwashed said the Latino still both by the way. This this time twenty three percent of blacks now, call themselves conservative Republican, but to most blacks can still considered traded. And I'm twenty four percent of Latinos voted for Republican. I mean more than that. Traders AB MSNBC, they all hate they all hate Donald Trump. They republicans. Well, why do you think? Yeah. I started out talking about John James who's African American, but he happens to be a Republican, and he got zero press zero press, you know, to their madness method today, Matt. China. But that's why they're so intent on the care, but they do see the numbers. There are the African Americans voting like you have gone up and their approval has gone up for Trump. And so as they start to abandon the Democratic Party when they realize that they've been used for many years and a lot of black conservatives out there like Candice Owens and a whole like a whole list of people start talking start coming out. You know, coming at saying what they believe it gives other people like you said, you're you're you keep it a secret at work. There's Hispanic there's Hispanic conservatives. There's Muslim conservatives f c. Black conservative. But let me ended by saying that the black leaders that are taught that gets basically glad Americans oppose illegal immigration is he toxic black politician brainwash, the average black, and I say that we love because I truly love love black people and all races. Anyway. Thank you. Why don't you give me this time, and it's really snow out here in Pennsylvania. How many program stay safe? Stay off the roads Stanley China. Okay. I know that. Okay. Take care. Okay. So we're going to keep talking about this. It's very Jonah brought up some very interesting points. And it is there is a change of foot and as more people in all different walks of life. I mean, you've heard me say this before I just find it incredibly. What's the word? It's it's soul crushing. It's America killing. It's. It's it's boring. It's boring to categorize people based on their race in their gender. And the way I assess somebody and analyze what someone is about is their thoughts and their ideas. And I see a lot of bad ideas. Come from way people. I see bad ideas, come from black people. I see really good come from both in this just about assessing. You know, what I'm going to say the content of their character. I just think it's like even when terms of us like the black vote or the Hispanic vote that always gives me the willies because it's the women's vote it because it just it's just it it creeps me out because it's this really linear surface. Way of boxing, people into a stereotype is what it boils down to a stereotype and growing up in the seventies and the eighties. I mean, what was consistently taught to us of that generation was that we are not supposed to stereotype somebody based on their color or their gender. But now that's all everyone does and we can't have a regular conversation because we can't get down to the ideas and principles and morals that serves as the cohesion for an American society. And that is what I want to talk about it. And that is when you start opening the doors and people like we China won't have to be afraid to say, he's a Republican. At work. Or if you're a democrat who lives in a conservative district, you shouldn't be afraid to say what your ideas are without getting pummeled or or literally fired as as Patrick was saying because it does happen. But I want to hear from you six one seven two five four ten thirty triple eight nine two nine ten thirty. I'm marina Di Franco. This.

"The mainstream media had this awful monopoly, they control. Old. The point of view, a conservative could never get his point of view. Add to the people. It would only be seen through a perverted and distorted narrative lens of the mainstream media. We crashed that because of social media. Now they're trying to take it back. That's why they're so furious. This is why Trump has got to keep tweeting. I know there's the conservative sent the sort of conservative aristocratic, oh, no push. She shouldn't tweet take the phone away now, the phones, the whole thing I'm here for the phone. Keep tweeting tweeting is the way that we're able to get our message out. Unvarnished in the case of President Trump is very unvarnished severity. It's not. We're not really polished up at all, but that's fine. You're, you're getting that point of view across in the last year. Fifty, four percent of Facebook users have adjusted their privacy settings over a quarter of Facebook users in the past year, a quarter twenty. Six percent have deleted the app from their phone and Facebook's mobile platform. Now people use it on mobile much more than they use it on desktop twenty six percent have deleted. The app from their phone. That is a shocking number and it gets even more shocking because it's specifically among young people who've done that number. When you look at just eighteen to twenty nine year old Facebook users, forty four percent have deleted the app from their phone. That is a terrifying number for Facebook because I think the number is only twelve percent of deleted it from their phone for sixty five and over. But of that young group at so high. Why is it? Because there's no transparency because these big tech companies have abused privacy settings. They've used data dishonestly and because they are censoring half of their audience, they're saying, no, you can't up. This isn't fair when people don't play by the rules, we get very sick and that we to now it's all about trust. It's all about, do we trust these companies now before I don't want harp on this too much because we could talk about social media, all dam. Sure. There's going to be fallout from his before we move on. I do have to get to the best part of all of the hearings Mr. Jones. Take it away. There's a look, I go and it's happening here. Here's a question. Don't touch me. I'm asking tough trousers pageant Iceland, but I don't want to be dead on going to get arrested. It's It's not just not just going going to. to. Oh, he'll beat me. Did you. So mad. You're not going to silence me. Silence America you are. You are literally like little gangster thug. You ready to physically take care of me. So there's so much here if you couldn't hear that, that would be Mr. Marco Rubio and Alex Jones comes into this little press gaggle and starts getting right and Rubio's face. There's a big debate happening right now over how Rubio handled this. I gotta say, I think he could've handled it better. I don't think this was the best way. If Alex Jones gets up in your face starts screaming at you, you're at a hearing about the big tech censorship of people. Alex Jones is one of the big faces of of tech censoring of people on the right. I use the term of the right broadly because Alex Jones probably wouldn't be considered a conservative or call himself a conservative. He's a little a little more out there than that, but certainly he does fall broadly within the right there is no way that Marco Rubio doesn't know who he is. Of course, Marco Rubio knows who he is. Everybody knows who he is. He's on TV all the time because Alex Jones is you saw in that clip is very good at making a spectacle. So of course, he does..
