"Flap alike at pete. Yellow triska just did not develop and we talked earlier about the on paper. The pace in the fort lauderdale look like it was going developed develop. It did and it worked out good for those. Who were you know liking off the pace price types in that particular race. This was one of those ones where on paper. It looked like there was plenty of early speed and beijing. Girl just didn't get out. Amazingly great. lotrowska did and beijing girl did kinda rush up a little bit but was just you know only able to kind of put mile pressure on a horse. You know we're talking about on the turf. Those horses go and forty six and change went. Oh nine and change This was a mile on the dirt and they were going off dirt opening quarters in one turn sprint in tend to be a little faster than to turn turf race for obvious reasons. There's you know there's no turning for the first half mile but also. They just tend to be speedier early type races so Forty six and one seemed pretty well within the scope of the in fact almost twenty four seconds for the opening quarter mile and so Able to navigate it pretty easily and really turned it on and one very very nicely and a dream. Marie my old girl always cool to see her run and she ran a nice second. This she continues to add graded stakes placings to her resume. And you know with sally's kirwin she. She was a little closer. I think that. I mean obviously than her last couple of starts i know from talking to cj. They'd wanted her closer in that breeders cup affiliated turf sprint or a. i'm sorry the mayor dirt sprint. And you know. I just don't think she has the foot to keep early with horses like amine and sarah the empress within shouting distance of them. She's a sprinter who is going to need pace in front of her and she. This was a race where the that's part of the reason. The horse was somewhat of a short price was because it looked on paper like there was going to be paced but for a horse like that when it doesn't set up. I mean it's just curtains. Right i mean unless you really get them going after each other. She's just always going to be very very up against it trying to come from behind like that. Sometimes these horses they're kick You know go in a mile is not as potent as it is going six or seven just because you know as you would. You would think they've gone an extra eighth of a mile or quarter of a mile before they really try start kicking and sometimes the kids just not as much when you're a little more tired but it's just you know that's one of the i think i feel like that's one of the early handicapping principles. A lot of people learn is that you know closing sprinters. Don't necessarily have that same kick when their routing right like everybody kind of learned that lesson early. I still remember the horse. That tommy that lesson at emerald syria. No go look up syria on a one a six and a half furlong dirt sprint and blue by everybody on the on the top of the stretch and it was just awesome and i remember thinking like oh god i mean how much more is going to. We're gonna win by with more distance. And then you realize that the race shape up a little different and a very different When they're going longer and so Yeah i i still remember the horse. The taught me that lesson. Shoutout siri on the l. Let's go over to act with real quick in the alex rob stakes over at at akwa duct in the wonderful. Mr buff sent off as you're sixty five favorite bank at the second choice. Any real and him in at the top of the stretch and drew off to win. Nicely for steve aspirin and jose. Lescot i i thought mr buff was kind of a lousy big favorite in the spot just because if anything just because of coming off such short rest after running pretty tough race last weekend wheeling right back i know against breads. And he's had great success against these types but to me for him to be six to five seemed. Kind of extreme in those circumstances still ran fine and he finished second picks up twenty thousand bucks for his efforts but I would be really curious to do an exercise throughout the week. And maybe this is something dude sometime. Who knows but maybe just look for. Maybe i'll just try to find my top ten or obviously the prices go as you go so you have to adapt but it'd be funded like try to find ten favorites who are under to one and ones that we think are beatable and see how many can beat and with what kind of prices. I think that might be a fun exercise. Because i do think to me handicapping and betting. That's one of the most important things is finding favorites. The you don't like because that's where all the money is going. A lot of the money is going and you wanna be somewhere else. When those horses swing and miss i was also louisiana champions day over Fairgrounds couple of nights performances. I saw a ice win from ninety one. Salt tom morley. Tom tweeted about you know someone from his stable who had passed away and that being his favourite horse that horse able to repeat in the louisiana champion turf so of thomas. We've had him on the show a couple times. Seems like just a really really good dude so very happy for for him and his team and then a big upset grad luigi Beating the heavily favored shang in the louisiana day classic stakes one hundred fifty three grand or hundred. I'm sorry two hundred fifty three grand Was it one hundred. What the horse pay hundred and three dollars my equa basis. Not pulling up my charts right now oops yeah well. We'll just pretend it was one hundred and three dollars. I think it was wasn't a fifty to one something crazy but anyway so that's just to look back at the weekend that was as i mentioned Fund weaker shows guests coming up this week Diverse cast and crew of gary contessa gonna join us walker hancock from claiborne. Farms and rent carruthers for tampa bay. Downs we'll talk a little horse player. Thursday with ran. And we'll take your guy's questions you can always jason charles be msci mail dot com lot of times when you guys send questions or comments..

"And we'll start out in new york. We'll start out in new york with one of the two state bridge stakes races. We were talking about to kick off the the program here and sunday. We're going to run the bay ridge tomorrow. We're going to run the alex. I'm rob alex. I'm rob used to be a little bit later in december but we got that ten day break starting next sunday. The twentieth after the twentieth were off the ten days here in new york so robinson moved alex a mile in eighth on the main track slob. Some turf racing scheduled for tomorrow is supposed to be some light rain in the morning. Say echoes no turf scheduled for sunday so Turf racing will end tomorrow in new york gonna feel the six of the alex. I'm robin the most interesting entrance in. Here's mr buff for the umpteenth time. There was a grade before the cigar mile And this horse failed show up. It's amazing it's almost like he knows how to read the pp's but he's back he's gets kendra car mussa's regularized junior alvarado now down in florida for the winter kendricks varieties post number four city man for christoph clermont. One of two clermont sea foam the other. They'll break from post three and one respectively. So i don't know what to think of mr buff You know he's coming back on short rest out of the race where he basically only ran. 'bout a half a mile. Maybe three quarters of a mile and now he's gotta go a mile and an eighth figures to make the lead seafoam with joel. Rosario on the rail. I don't think there's going to be far behind him. He may let mister buff. Take the lead. But i don't think he's going to let them clear way going real slowly upfront. Seafoam going to be putting some sort of pressure on them. I like the the form that number five gani california's in right now for orlando noda and Louis rodriguez danny california. Had real off three wins in era toga and belmont and they try a good form. They tried him in great to race breeders cup weekend at keeneland and he ran pretty well. That was a mile and five eighths race. That rocketry came from nowhere to fly the field and win by a length. Danny california remain very well for the first about a mile and an eighth of that race and you just got tired late but it was only beaten five lengths. Now he shortens backup to a better distance and he's not confirmed closer. I think he'll be sitting probably around third or fourth in the early going and we'll have a much better chance against this field and at this distance eight to one on the morning line is very very generous. All take danny california. He was a horse that used to be just a one run closer and not took them and put them speed it to him in saratoga this year and Yeah it's it's just been a complete different story for the source. He's been completely completely turned around as is he does. He belong on the same respects. Mr buff i that i don't know i don't know if he's earned that yet know wanted to. He loves the nine furlongs. He loves the nine furlongs and He's the interesting alternative in here I think seafoam kind of compromised by the speed of mr buff. Obviously yankee division. Probably a little over his head city man. I think men might just be a better forest. But he's run well enough on the dirt where the hanging one hundred thousand but it's only field the sixty take a chance. I couldn't get pastor buff. No running the other day in the cigar. They will come back he gets around us. Turns i took mr. But i agree with you. The the interesting ones. Danny california one would really have to take another step backwards. Neither one step forward. So i'll just take must've off race. Eight goes as the alex m robb down at gulfstream first of five stakes races on the saturday cart race. Foregoes is the great three ramparts. for the billion. Mare's leg all flat mile out of the chute field of six in here Lotrowska getting some class relief. She won the grade three choubey. it's era toga. Last time out a bit of a runoff with caricom oc- in the building behind her allergist porna- bonner and dunbar dunbar road all graded stakes winners in their career. Now she gets a little bit class relief in. He are facing some horses on. Stretch out facing some horses like Beijing girl who's Stakes experience so far has been great. She's the two to one more line favorite lotrowska. But she's another one. You know we talk about trust. Bobby and she has some issues. She's she's been a little. Jekyll and hyde so far since shipping up from mexico for classical though clara last year when she shows up. She's good when she doesn't she's not very good at all. yeah. I don't. I think she's the best best philly in the race. But i don't think i can take her in this spot because first of all she is hard to trust. They're taking the blinkers off for the race tomorrow. So i don't know if they're trying to get her to show less speed which i'm not sure is the right way of going. As far as i can see she's been running with blinkers throughout her career. At least route her north american career. There is other speed in the race. Good credence has been sprinting. And showing speed their beijing girl. I don't think it's quite as fast as the true scale or good credence. But she's trying to show speed as well so looking for somebody to come from off the pace for me. It came down. To between number one. Crumble on number three sally's kirwin. I think sally's curling's the better. The two but the fact that she ran into breeders cup race and this is still the same breeders cup year. I'm gonna go the other direction with number one crumble on She is in good form. I think he can just throw out her last race where to me. It looked like she just didn't like the wet track over at calder. At all her previous two or three starts all very good in fact she'd been first or second four starts in a row before that sloppy track effort. She has been in the money. Twelve of eighteen tries on the main track at gulfstream. She's going to have some pace to run at. I know that if lotrowska race or sally's kirwin runs a race crumbling. Probably can't beat him. But i'm hoping that two phillies don't run their race tomorrow and crumble on who gets back to good form ten to one. Yeah i i like sally's colonel and a lot tomorrow. She gets back to her. Favourite distance or biggest win. Came in the hurricane birdie over this course. Last year was a fastest race. It was her biggest win. She gets a nice set up in here. I know what you're saying about the breeders cup horses but you know what she was. Thirty two one twenty eight to one breeders cup day. She really have much chance in that region into a lot of running in that race. I think she's been pointed for this meet. I'm not saying they prepped. Her in the brutality preparative breeders cup. But the your expectations had to be kinda limited with her. I thought she was alive. Long brisk day the way that re-stripe was playing early in the car. She had zero chance and it showed on. It showed her performance. She finds the right bunch more importantly she finds this. She gets her mile her flat one turn mile tomorrow. I like salads carlin a lot reasonable for goes as the grade three rampart and one of the things i never understood about this day They run the sugar. Swirl six furlongs one turn for the grade. Three three year olds and up the phillies Races on the same car. That's makes made no sense to me. But i'm not a racing secretary field of six in here..

"You know it's funny like i never even thought about it. I guess in some ways. Sometimes you take certain things for granted like i think. I just even assumed that he must have a grade. One at some point already in and But to see that emotion and that that raw jubilant is great. I mean i really gotta check out of it and what a great ride he gave the worse. I mean did he look like a winner every single step of the way he looked like a winner to me. I i agree. And you know. And it's funny because when we were handicapping on friday and had several you know several conversations. Nick tam row and dave greg and Thinks scully to and it to me and obviously this race you know the things changed and went you know sort of sideways in terms of the the potential scenario when when you lose horses you know you lose three out of out of nine and and in particular when you lose to that you know. We're we're absolute wind candidates. I mean you talk about mind control and forensic fire coming out and that that that changes the complexion but still you know there had been there had been potentially that school of thought or or you know scenario that said mr buff could be dangerous wiring and it seemed to me that that a horse front end horse and you can you. Can you antonia. Toni particularly being a front end writer. You can discuss this rich. The difference between a horse like a true timber who has got authentic sprint speed versus a route. A front end. Route horse like mr buff. The those are two different sets of years explained. Explain why true timber was so dangerous. In the way that race ended up lining up particularly going a mile. It winds up at the top level running like just all along sprint of elongated. Sprint mr buffs. A big long striding horse. That when he's able to get comfortable he can maintain.

"I think mr bus could be very dangerous here. Not like i said i. It's hard for me to imagine that forensic fire and Mind control gonna run but still even if they do run they have consistently shown that these tapes conditions aren't favorable for them so downgrading then a lot today but mr buff. He is searching for that. Elusive greeted open graded stakes company win. And he's tried several times to no avail. And i do think he is a little bit better. Maybe going longer he keeps. He seems that be able to unravel that massive stride. I mean this is the seventeen one hand horse and it's kinda cool. He's the son of friend or foe who's campaign by john kimmel and chester. Mary roman and i believe he only cover four. Mares i wanna say in two thousand thirteen and one of them was mr bus now a And i think they would just be icing on the cake for this six year. Old counting to get that allusive created gigs. Went a grade one. The lesson the cigar mile and really looking at it unless somebody really wants to challenge him he could be in front here. You should be in front here. So i i know there's worse coming out of sprint races. But he is one that is just consistently faster than anybody else in the first few strides of the race. So i think mr buff has a legitimate shot up setting the field today. Yeah the last time was on a sloppy race track. It was at acworth back gun. January twenty fifth and he won the jazz and did easily by five. This is a much tougher test but he certainly has a right to run well over a sloppy track on this particular surface king year. back After missing the kentucky derby talked about him at the top of the show. It'll be good to see him back in action. We'll see what he can do and a lot of different ways to go if you don't like performer. Hopefully the field stays intact again. Sloppy track dot going to be raining throughout the afternoon. Maggie just Before i let you go. I've got about thirty seconds. Set up what's ahead for you guys today on the coverage We begin our coverage at three o'clock so that starts off with the ace race today. "Threw in for third. And if you're looking for anyone outside of the top four. That i mentioned he would probably be the one. I would have the most confidence in very simple reason. I mean it's surprising. Why montier performer this horseshoe. I mean i'm really disappointed. We didn't get to see more of him this year but at the same time i do know that this is pretty much starting point rather than you know the end for him. He's got a lot more running. Each just gonna model consistent team wins over lots of really good horses in frankly up against this group it. It can't be very hard. You know you look at your. You know your second third and fourth choices in there so many concerns with them. Can you know the layoff really more than anything i wouldn't. I'm not so worried about His fitness level. More than just. You know horse that has it ran in seven months that has as much early speed esteemed year mode. It's not gonna be you know really good for him. Because he's gonna he's gonna be really. You know really eager to run early on and that's going to be be problem considering some other speed presence in here like mr above. That are gonna try to do with him. So that's not going to help mr buff. He can't win open even if even if he was only horse in the race and forensic fire is you know straight for six of my only does level one mile but we know that sprinting. Six and seven furlongs is far more in his wheelhouse in the fact. That performer is the best horse interview on talent. I just don't see how he loses. I'm really excited for this race. Even though Foregone conclusion barring any crazy happenings with performer. This is gonna be very impressive. Performance that's going to set him up for really nice Twenty twenty one campaign and the final race going to be talking about this weekend. Is the starlet at los alamos This is the typical kind of feel that we've come to expect from this race..

"Be voting twice on this stop please. David perhaps his one of those cases when we're going to have to use election buddy. No it's not so what we're going to do is we're going to have another all on. The question of whether or not debates should be closed on the credentials committee report. The options will be. Yes no abstain and we will see whether those numbers mathematically support a Golfer Division. That is what we will do. So shall we move to a vote on the Debate be closed on the credentials report. Yes no or abstain. All right this is to end debate on the credentials report and moved to vote on the initial credentials record. Yes ends debate no continues us in debate. Abstain has an abstention Tori effective abstention. Tories were real thing. This will be held open for two minutes. We are about a minute twenty minute thirty and we are a gone for just over two minutes we have. Can we close that old? Please ensure the results alright. Seven hundred forty six yeses to end debates one hundred nineteen knows to not end debate. Twenty eight abstentions. Clearly that is over two thirds even if these seven groups that have ten or more people don't actually have devices and weren't actually voting. It would not make it under two thirds. We will now move to a vote on accepting the initial credentials committee report. We will do that via poll if you wish to accept the initial report of the credentials committee will vote. Yes if you wish to object or vote against accepting the initial report the credentials committee will vote. No and if you want to stay in you can insane so as soon as that Whole is up in shared. I will give a time and we will get through at least that vote right. This is the motion early on. The floor is the except the initial credentials committee report. A Yes vote accepts initial credentials committee report. A No vote rejects. We are about twenty five seconds in we are fifty five seconds in the vote is on whether to accept the initial credentials committee report. A Yes vote accepted a no vote does not accept it. Mr Chair yes. There was a point of technical information passed along to me that it is possible for people who are using one computer to open multiple tax in each log into their own zoom accounts. I'm passing it along. I do not know that technically correct. I don't either but people are free to try and get things to work as well as they can. We ARE MINUTE THIRTY. Two into the poll. Nine hundred nine hundred fifty. Eight people have voted. We have twenty more seconds again. A Yes vote adopts initial credentials committee report a No vote Does Not and we're now two minutes final results with nine hundred and nine total road. Seven hundred sixty seven in favor of adopting the report one hundred and four forty stains the initial credentials. Report is adopted that being more than a majority again. Those numbers are I believe. Nine hundred five delegates of which three hundred and sixty two would be orem fifty three would be majority. Six hundred and four will be two thirds seven hundred. Ninety two would be seven eighths it being seven o'clock. I would move that we take a five minute recess. Excuse me The Wisconsin Share Party chair has a point of information for media consideration. If you could annute a Matt Boffin yes Mr. Buff Man I can somebody find Mr Buff Buckman for this request for information. I think he was the chair. Because of ballot access issues is come to our attention and the question posing is at. It's noted that our secretary is indicated. There are circumstances which he would not only would would not certify a presidential vice presidential nominees coming out of this weekend and we would like to know under what circumstances. The secretary would not certify nominee selected this weekend Ms Carlos if you would like to respond to the point of information you can request for information. I believe with everything as it is scheduled. Now I'm not gonNA minus of jumped of put out. Possible scenarios withdrew cause a problem. Only say the as of right now there is no problem and if there ends up being one. I have legal counsel who has assured me they'll be able to resolve the issue so that things will be able to be signed without causing me. Problems are causing the party problems. I do have LICO cats. Can I just ask for clarification? Are you saying that you would request modification of the forms to meet your or your council's approval before signing them? I'm not going to get into mining the subjunctive right now. Mr Chair the forms that you sent over. I don't have an issue with as of this point and that's all I can say at this moment lava in time if we had not been and you put them in front of me. I would sign them. Jews were premature in sending fifty one of them. But that's for other reasons Dress to be on say so as of this moment in time there is no problem. I'm saying if a potential problem comes up I am confident. It will be resolved in they will be able to be signed Mr Bachmann. Does that answer your question? It does chair. Thank you very much. is Mr. We have right now a lot of issues in the QNA because there's a lot of stuff that doesn't look like it was necessarily points of order. we're going to be in recess until seven ten so that the QNA can get cleaned up Hopefully people will be able to answer some questions and communicate with delegates directly if you have issues try and get them resolved now either through your delegation share or if your delegation share through the staff we will resume at seven ten eastern time. "Hi everyone. Welcome to the March sixth edition of Time Formula Forecast. I'm David Arrogant. I'll be joined very by my co host Craig cousy. There's an exciting weekend of racing coming up across the country particularly as pertains in Kentucky Derby Prep races. We've got three of those on tap of the Gotham in New York. The Tampa Bay derby down Tampa Bay downs and the SANFILIPPO out in California. We will talk about all three of those races as well as some of the UNDERCARD steaks. On all of those guards act would've Tampa Bay downs and Santa Anita stakes to cover a lot of really exciting horses. Inaction this weekend so looking forward to talking about Craig Yeah. This is a good strong weekend A. Racing. I think we're covering three of the tracks are. There's actually a couple of other races scattered around and it looks like just a really good betting weekend to me early Saturday. I haven't looked too far ahead to Sunday but Saturday looks like it's going to keep me plenty busy. Seems like there's a big happening every ten minutes or so on Saturday so our F- to keep keep up with all those post times. Let's start out in New York at acqueduct They're running the Gotham. We'll get to that race in a little bit first. Let's talk about a couple of those undercard stakes beginning with the seventh race on the card. It's the stymie going a mile for the older horses and Pretty Interesting Group of seven runners. Here not the biggest field in the world. But I think you can make a case for a lot of the horses in this race. I made the morning line. Favorite the number five wicked trick He is a horse. Who if you've been following a New York lately? He's just been on a tear. He's coming into this race on a six race. Winning streak of this will be his stakes debut for Linda Rice. She had intended to run in the General George. A few weeks ago came down with a bout of colic so they had to scratch him but apparently recovered from that pretty quickly because Linda enters them right back in this race He's GonNa be pretty tough. He just repeats his last race at a mile he is I. I think he is the worst beaten here. I think there's a little bit concerned with the health issues. You mentioned but it's Linda Rice. We all know she's not going to run a horse said that's not a hundred percent ready at least in my experience so if he actually shows up in the starting gate. I think he's going to be quite the formidable foe. But that said I mean I'm not ready to handle the race to as you said. I think it is a pretty depressed for just a field seven The contention goes deep there. There's a lot of different ways you could go in here I started out looking at Stan. The man he's a horse that comes out of a really fast routes for Mr Buff chasing that one before understandably tiring I think has c- he has some interest for me and diamond. Kenya as a whole probably comes in with the best set of time. Formula speed figures at least He doesn't win very often but I think he certainly a contender as well so again. Lots of directions. I think a person could go in here. We have Joe via who comes in He had that good recent. I believe it was the Belmont last year. has been running pretty well and buddy disappointed last time. Just a whole lot of options for handicapper. Yeah I don't blame you for touch upon touch upon a lot of horses because when I went through this race I considered every single horse because you can make a case for a lot of them I do think the main rival to wicked trick is probably diamond. King as you were saying. He's got some of the best figures in this field and I think if he brings his a race here he's going to be really tough for any of these be because he's got some of those one twenty plus time for us speed figures. And I think the one turn mile is actually a perfect distance. Four Diamond King We'll just see what kind of ride gets. Kendrick are moves because there are a couple of other horses in this race who might shows the Kendrick aggressive with him. He could be controlling speed in this race as the pace project or indicates Respect Ivan. King I respect wicked trick just want to search for a bit more value. A one of the horses that you mentioned the really interesting and this is the number one. Stand the man for a lot of the reasons that you mentioned He read vine in the Queen's county to back. I thought that was a good return race and last time out just chasing Mr Buffet him over a sloppy track. I like this horse getting back to the one turn mile. I know he's won some races going the mile and an eighth. Dinh's I've always thought though that that's a little bit far for him. It really tested stamina. I think getting back to the one miles. Just GonNa work out for him. He should get that good stalking trip in the pocket. And I think he can rebound here at a price around four or five to one would be fair on them so I would make Stan the man my top pick but like you said you can make a case for a lot of horses even horse like back side of the moon on the outside he might appreciate the turn back to you but you might need some pace as well Just an interesting race to start off this late. Pick four sequence yes stand man actually wound up being my top selection as well for a lot of the reasons you mentioned last. I am just kind of putting a line through it. He ran a big race first off a long layoff so I wouldn't be surprised if he regrets. Regrets little bit coming back in just a month the slopped chasing Mr Baath so I'm looking for a big effort from him Even American anthem. Who We haven't talked about yet. You haven't pegged at seven to two in the morning line is a horse that just had not a great trip at all. As time he was in traffic there was absolutely no peace in a race where he came from off the pace. So if you're a fan of Dr Danny Guard in which I know you are. You can almost consider this like his first start for Danny Garden. Who'S BEEN PRETTY HOT AT ACT WITH DUCK? So He's won it you know. It took us this long just to get around the mentioning him that I think it went here but again I went with Stan. The man I if there was one I was against it back side of the moon. I think he just Kinda got us up. Suck UP SECOND TO MR BUFF. Last time in probably isn't quite as good as he looks. Don't think he's going to get that kind of pace in here. So he him and Joe via the two that I probably wouldn't use in horizontal wagers. Yeah that trip for American anthem. Last time it's a good segue into the next week. We're going to talk about but I do want to mention it quickly. He wasn't a bad trip for a typical horse. That's getting a pocket stalking trip because things did go right for you saved ground. He wasn't that far off. The Basi basically found a seam at the top of the stretch and it did tighten up on me but he also didn't really go through out that whole when you had a chance to My problem with American anthem is he just doesn't seem to have the early speed that he once possessed many. Franco was riding out of the gate last time and he just wouldn't go there so I I worry that he's not going to be able to keep up with a horse like diamond king early and maybe he doesn't need to if he can come from off the pace The last race just makes me a little bit apprehensive. Taken this spot And Horse Won. His last race was mind control. And he's going to be the horse to be at the next race. He talked about the Tom full grade. Three event going six furlongs mind control. I think is a horse. You have to admire. He just loves to win races. He's got those two grade one big breeze at Saratoga. The JERKINS last year the hopefully trigger all the thing with mind control is that he really does seem to have carved out that niche for himself as seven furlong specialist. He's GonNa be cutting back to the six furlongs ear hasn't gone that short since he was a two year old. Do you think that's a reason to make? Maybe think he's a bit vulnerable in this. He's not a horse eager to go against the. I think he's a whore. Sue as you said. He does run. Well he does seem to prefer seven. But this isn't the strongest group you're GONNA see of sprinters in New York He didn't he only ran at one time formula speed figure of timeout. Which doesn't seem like much but I'm not putting a whole lot of stock in that figure. It was a very slow as we have all the fractions and blue So I'm going to give them a little extra credit for gotten out the win that said there. There's not a whole lot. I would be too excited to take them on with. I do want to mention that the one and two horses in here Mr Dougie Freshman. Cecilia Mike were both also went through today. Friday as we record this show but when I check they have both been scratched so I am assuming. They'RE GONNA to show up in the gate in the Tom Full. I guess if there was one horse I'd WanNa take on a mind control. I'd probably lean towards He's a horse coming off some layoffs but he has some good figures. He has some speed in a race. That doesn't have a ton of early speed. He's been working out really well. So if I had to use a second horse it would probably be wins. Yeah I kind of like you. Don't WANNA be way against mind control. I think he's the horse to beat. I picked him second in this race. I definitely will use them prominently in any multi-race wagers or stuff like that and I do prefer him to the other short prices in this race. I'm not a big fan of happy farm. Who's another horse? Who's likely to take money? I assume he'll be the second choice. He had all the best of it last time when he faced his stablemate forensic fire. I know forensic fire came back won impressively and he had to work hard to get by happy farm last time. I just thought that was a function of circumstances. Were happy farm got the right trip. I think he's in a tougher spot. This time. Friends a fire notwithstanding obviously as for whence he was kind of a difficult call. I do think he's quick enough to make the lead here over a horse like happy farm. He just has one big speed figure to back. That would make him tough in here. I just. I don't really buy that. Raise the runner up that he finished in a photo with. Jared hasn't really come back to that figure since then it just seems like an aspirant vast..

"But I'll tell you what if you went around the bow the Belmont back stretch and went and picked out the four. You wanted in him. You'd have four to five favorite Mr Buffs GonNa break from the rail. John Kimmel coming back off an open company win and the jazz which you went for the second consecutive year the Fast Syndergaard of course lost that tough decision back in twenty sixteen in the champagne to grade one winner practical joke. He returns from a summer layoff. It hasn't been seen actually in just about eight and a half months close to nine months for John. Terranova honor up made his return To the races off of a melee off last time from Michelle never was born teaming up he won this event last year over syndergaard and I love Jackson Shrieking I love Jackson's won five of his last six including four of the last five being claimed. Beilin the rice. It's a really nice race for fish. The six pack It came pretty strong. Like you said You got four you really want in here and I mean Mr Buff is just been. He's been fantastic. Anything out outside of the The higher level graded stakes ranks He'd been right there his speed shows every time. He draws the rail. If only today tomorrow is that. He's going to be trying to one. Turn Mile rather than the to turn races at which he's had a lot of success is last couple starts over the aquidneck main tracking. I wouldn't be surprised. There is speed next to him and Syndergaard is probably gonNA show more Early foot being that Mr Buffers in here and drawn inside him. He'll probably doesn't want to allow him to get the easy lead. Somebody puts a little bit of pressure on them. WouldN'T BE SURPRISED. If Mr Buff took him all the way but I mean nothing fun about that at the forty five more than line. I figured I'd take a small chat against him in US three on her up. Who was an aqueduct lover? I start since last. May came the day before New Year's Eve over the main track here Sprint of SLOP and You know I gotta useful tighten around of it. He's back about seven weeks later stretching out a bit. He loves the The mile distances and defending champions race. He beat Syndergaard in it last year. Maybe the stretch back. I'll help him up at what figures to be a better price. I'M GONNA use both of them both Mr Buff and honor up. But I'M GONNA take a small shot against Mr Buff with the three Enron your braverman than I am It's all about this the Mufamadi tomorrow. I think Tim and honor up Syndergaard this is a little bit of a tall task to go to mile off the land. Because I'm not too sure it's his best. Distance always run someone who's faster races. I don't know if it's best distance It's Kinda hard to ignore. I Love Jackson at this point. I mean he has just been coming with. Fastball fastball. Off The fast wall and I don't know what you do with them A certainly seems to be reaching for some class here but man is he. He's he's the INVI alone. Mr Buffy the four and the informed type here I mean. He's got a great set up last weekend but he's GonNa get paid again to run out today and he likes this mile trip. Yeah he's going to get a class test but he's in terrific form. You couldn't ask for much better and with Eric can't sell aboard the way he's been riding. You know you really can't leave mouth one three four from me with a little maybe a little syndergaard for fourth. But it's all about Mr Buff He's proven that he's not just two turnovers. Those to Belmont Park wins this summer and fall. Mr Buffer main in reason number eight. The hundred thousand dollar. Haynes field will come back to active later on for Sunday Matinee Down Tampa couple of TURF SPRINT TURF DASH goes race number. Six Five furlongs on the lawn. We get a field of ten entered in here and this is pretty wide open race..

"Mandated three new york bred races a day thing i mean every new york bred makes three hundred thousand dollars now so eventually you can get to that point where we're you know people want to be here because of those incentive programs and it makes sense because it's expensive to train racehorses and and <hes> you know have a stable so every little bit helps nope what a what a great opportunity to you know one of the things that puts us ahead for training as if you're going to send a horse out to break which most people have to do why not give it to chance that you're gonna wanna get your training money back on one win and you talk about new york and what a great program. We're not trying to compete with other states. It's just a very nice add on gesture. Gesture brahmin who were talking about with mr buff is taken out about one hundred and fifty thousand dollars in the last year from the state on from just his new york breads that have one up there in new york because every time he wins he gets ten thousand dollar. Check from us yeah. He's a smart guy. Mr brown is a great. It's what a great thing and it's a when i talk about people like karen godsey. Its i mean she's got hundred hundred and fifty horses in training now when before she was barely going to make it it's just woodbury a pain. <hes> you know people you know their full. One hundred horses trained in here. It's it's really been good well and as you can tell when you listen to debbie talk <hes> it w we go to maryland every year for the preakness and for the maryland million we always talk about the fact that having a strong maryland horse industry is good not just for the mid atlantic not not just for the state of maryland but for the industry whole nationwide <hes> i'd imagine it's the same thing virginia right having a strong program here benefits everybody across the country sure her and and look whene maryland came back they were probably in worse shape than we were even though they were still breed more horses but they had a much larger industry with the stein's and everything boy join till they got two slots. It's just great to see them. Come back and they've been great partners with us letting us run the stakes up there and and we were hoping we were going to be <hes> partners again like we were previously when they would shut down and when we were racing and hopefully we'll pull that off some day. Those are things that i think are smart for the industry to do because we're all competing competing for the same horses and <hes> <hes> you know hopefully we can work that out. In the future. People have no idea how much the economy benefits from horse racing in in how many jobs it creates and and livelihood said it creates. It's it's so important to to keep it alive and keep it going this reopening so to speak scott to be a huge boon for for the local economy and other people. It's huge just if you take a little example this little shopping center across here of the gas station and dairy queen if you talk to them they're just like it static there like it came back again. You know but one of the things that's hardest. The job with the legislature is to tell them how big this is and it really is to trickle down economy but it's hard sometimes to quantify that in one of the hardest hardest things i think the quantifying i think you guys have been up through the middleburg area upper ville my goodness..

"Which does not carry the same cachet well. I and it's funny you went to mr buff so did scully scully and for the same reason and i i want the horse that's going to be. That's going to be stalking him. Mongolian groom who's going from essentially <music> a knee deep beach oval to paved highway essentially and i i think that under sayas mongolian groom very very dangerous. I thought it was a really fun woodward and there's almost no combination that will shock me pick a couple of other spots around the card next <hes> no i. I definitely agree with the sentiment on the woodward. <hes> i was interested in mississippi in the <hes> in the glens falls. This is a scenario oriole. We've seen play out quite a few times when graham motion gets a euro import and he's had them for a while they they generally improve quite a bit and this horse looks like one that blood so oh if she was having bleeding issues overseas when when you see a horse that's been pretty consistent knocking on the door of a group type and then they run two races and end up coming to america. It's either because they i need firm ground lasix or both and she's getting both so i'm gonna take a shot. They're never gonna santa monica fan. <hes> and i'm not really a fan of anybody who ran in the way so i think that could it'd be a good opportunity to to take a little bit of a stand and <hes> i thought the price was was going to be pretty much break even race to lose. If you think she's going to get pushed on the front end then you might want to take an off the pace type. I didn't really have the courage to go too deep into it. I thought royal charlotte would run better <hes> and that's of course assuming that break curfew can keep up with break even so we'll see how that shakes out but i think it'll be relatively easy spot nearly pick five <hes> and clever in the in the saranac not really really. I feel like we're handicapped. Three-year-old turkeys every couple of weeks i know track smith is also entered here. <hes> also an and was entered in the in the virginia derby. I mean if good governance is this is good horses. He showed he might be in his debut. He might be something to watch so he he overcame a tremendously portrait to beat a pretty solid stablemate. We'll see if if he <hes> if he moves forward off that if he does then we could be looking at at the next very talented three year old chad brown's barn and i'm just i'm looking down and i see i see global access and i got a feeling he's also cross entered in the antero derby by tom. He's not he's not on my p._p.'s but <hes> when is the ontario derby's tomorrow. It's is it tomorrow or sunday. I think it's sunday. I think it's sunday and i know that i know that trump better and cassie both have runners. I think for mrs weber in if i i was glancing at you know some of the obscurities basically and that's a possibility so anyway <hes> <hes> there's a chance that that race ends up becoming very modest <hes> size-wise just just an f._y._i. So anyway anyway not a big deal neck. Thank you <laughter>. You bet my friend hockey monday. You got it nick tammaro and hopefully we're here monday and <hes> the hurricane has not <hes> wreak havoc in in broward <hes> or anywhere else. I really let's let's <hes> let's hope anyway <hes> and i'm just looking and <hes> i. I guess i'm wrong. I do not see. I thought i could've sworn i saw that but maybe i don't know all right louie plus the but something else i could sore. I saw that horse good luck tomorrow and sunday play the v._p. "They've got money. Why do they need to work well. It's nice to be able to pal around with warren buffett jump on his plane. I don't think they do it anymore. But fly down to augusta and play golf take him on the phone during your bridge game at the club and all i had to take this call it's from warren buffett and so they've stuck around but these were good managers. When they sold the businesses they stayed on as good managers and the question was have they developed their own benches inside of those those companies and and i'm satisfied with what i've seen in all kinds of the digging that we've done that they really have thought long and hard within each of those myriad operating subs about succession planning ashida as you know now heads the insurance operations rations greg able runs the balance of the operating businesses. There's a question as to a sheets succession. We've heard mr buffet for years. In years. Talk about how important he is to berkshire and there's no doubt he's that important to the national indemnity piece of the business but my understanding is his ability to price businesses is like no other in my presumption would be that they've developed a bench underneath as sheet as you know he spends a lot of time on the phone with mr buff and they talk about deals and warren talks about him being that much more brilliant than anybody's encountered if any happens to zt and there's no bench underneath them does that imply them. Some portion of the business of they've written needs to being run off and that we can't write that type of business some of these odd one policy they've written. I don't know that's a question. That probably should have been asked at the meeting this year. I think deserves an answer at some point in the near future. <hes> i think mr buffet at eighty eight and mr monger at ninety five is brilliant as they both are. I applaud them for bringing greg able and gedin this year to answer some of the questions..

Dance all the dances cheese. Lazing think what he didn't triple crown series, right? Ryan all three races think top four I wanna say was top floor and all races and between the Preakness Belmont win the met over broad-brush Gour scenarios love that MAC. Quite words. See I got to see him at France to before. He was he was thirty. He must have been thirty by then. Well, let's see. I mean, we do that was eighty seven right? Top. He was four. More than eighty four. Yeah. Yep. So if he died last year, thirty four cheese. Yeah. I think I think he was thirty two when I saw. Well, it was tough worse. The racetrack to mazing. Think about the Korea. Bins. "A wide open renewal of the east youth for the two year old Phillies used to be around two turns on the old energy. This was a flat mile now out of the shoot around the one turn and a wide open bunch sassy Agnes number six is the most accomplished in this field. She's won three stakes races against St. breads already. She's close to two hundred thousand she'll try a mile for the first time junior Alvarado teams up winder ice. Yes. She doesn't look like she really wants to go mile. I'm not convinced. She's not the most generous villian the stretch. Although she's she's not very game. She's won all those races. But I'm gonna I'm gonna go with the two forever. Changed? I like the way she responded when she went the one turn mile the first time she drew off one by two and a quarter. Granted it was in the lounge field not stakes field. But she's got great numbers for this race. And she certainly can finish as good as anybody in here. So with all the speed that's lined up. I think she'll get a great trip. And you know, you can't beat Charlie Baker. Good old. Charlie baker. Yeah. I thought this was a wide open event. Forever. Change certainly has a good shot in here with that mile victory. Under a belt last time out I make a case for the one shelling. And I think you make a case for the five. Awesome, Alana Chad Brown, teaming up with Jose lescaut. Chad's numbers up here haven't been great. But everything's been running. He just not into winter circle. Seven of eleven of the board. This Philly improved on the stretch out last time, he can make a case take me too hard dune, the one time she went a mile was in the grade one present against open combination. Never great break that day kinda chase eventual Breeders Cup juvenile fillies when Jay walk her trainer. John service will join us tomorrow morning on the form. We'll tell you about that a little later on. But she came back and made up a lot of ground. First time Lakers when third and the key sense. The Philly I landed on here is seven Espresso shot to try to turf first time out. Shrine, okay. Renting author freeze going amount of sixteenth at Belmont. She romped you won by two and a half lengths back on the turf less than a month later down in the women. You're in jasmine didn't run very well back in the dirt. Last time. She came flying in the key sense behind sassy Agnes. She split says Adamson taping dune stretches back to a mile already has the win eight and a half for a long. I think she's the one I want on top. And he I'll take the number seven Espresso shot that goes race number six the hundred thousand dollar east view later on the card and warned New York breads race eight the older. Forces. Go a mile in eighth in the Alex m Robb lot of speed signed on in this field of eight Jude. Yeah, it's a it's almost all speed. You know, the testosterone stone. Is the is the closer to fear? He's the only one that comes from off the pace. And I don't think he's good enough. So we're going to have to determine who's going to be around at the finish Hugh might get the best trip or who's the speed of the speed. I think Mr. buff is the speed of the speed and he's accomplished going a mile and an eighth just one at that distance. Actually last two races have been victories in both at the mile in eight distance. So I think that's where I'm gonna go. I'm gonna I'm gonna try him and see if he can take these wire-to-wire. The buff has been toughest now three for four the mile and an eighth. In fact, the only time he suffered defeat at a mile on an eighth was around one turn and the empire. Classic over at Belmont Park. There's a win at Saratoga couple ends right here at the big three for eight overall with three seconds and acworth. These are a third of his money here. The big almost half of it. And he's well over your three hundred thousand dollar threshold as well. You know, it's funny when I was handicapping this race. I thought of this. We'll see. We'll go through fat is the enemy of speed. Very true. Yeah. People are not not fasters. That fat is not good for anything. Maybe offense align, but even that you want a quick fat is the enemy is speed. That's one quote preaching to the choir is for showboats in the soft. I don't understand. I like using that term. You're preaching to the choir, but I don't understand that in this context. Well, I guess if you have to preach than I don't, I maybe not soft. Yeah, that's one week who's got a better than us. Nobody that's probably famous one. I'd never heard this change. The i. e. don't get bitter, get better. I've I've heard heard that. that it's a good one l. no comment. Okay. If I like that, I'm not what if guy I'm a make it happen guy. That one's a little bit cliche this one. This next one I think describes my life. I got to where I am. No, not tilt. Thank you. Do you want take us home in this race? I'll take never called the horse race before, but will. Turnaround? Yeah, that well, you gotta see the screen screen out there however you want to call this race. All right. We're unquote around the mile in the guys go the voice like that. It's just do your host or quarter the mile. The way here at race, five at Saratoga, the four is in front followed by the five, the to the seven, the six and the one eight twenty forty, seven seconds through our first half mile. Mr. buff Li got about a two length lead on Ostra linka I don't know for sure if that's a two. It's about a links. All right. He's got a one lengthly Astrolink behind him all about Shelly. Mr. buff makes his run for glory, triple crown cough on their conferral. He has a huge lead. He's being chased down by the six. He's not gonna catch a Mr. buff wins race, five at Saratoga history. Yeah. I mean. The only thing that I was suggest maybe is in the fifth race on a Wednesday, you gotta save it because you sit out, you're going to be what other horse races after. Well, you're going to be on the radio, probably decent amount. So you have probably I'm gonna, say six to eight races in your future. I will call every rice like it's the triple crown. I'm betting.
