"Not really. I haven't really been now much marvel. Shit it'd be honest with you and then I've been watching bad batch with a little bit. I guess but batches batches like white noise. I throw it on whenever i'm bored shows. Okay i guess. I'm not a is is the trailer seasonably in dexter really hits. It's stride like is that like windex. Kinda that's best because i think it's really awesome right now. This is particularly. I not gonna. I don't want to like give any like quality. It gets bad at some point. I'll just say you'll know when it's bad. It's good enjoy when his good would you'll know when it's bad potato for blue. What a few tests for someone wanting to try and get into a fantasy but is scared to getting without friends to play with. It's a very social game so if you don't guess go on this go bomb. I don't think. I don't think you should worry too much about the first thing you should do is enjoy just like going through the main story. Like if you're it's daunting or anything don't worry about doing anything else. Just play the main story. Play like you're playing like a normal fancy game story. The game is real social. Though so i would highly recommend you play with someone else at least because i don't know it's just like any social coop game like you're there's always going to be a little sense of and have anyone to play with you know so i feel like this guy be like discords or cheese or something like that like bill into the game. Almost there's tons of jeez but like having a friend definitely makes it easier. So i don't know and maybe maybe maybe we'll start playing it and you'll find friends in the game you know who knows Chupak as what is the best time of day in. Why is it the best. I like like evening. Like sunset like seven to eight. 'cause more often than not. I'm like okay. My days done like now i get to just literally sit here and do nothing like i just finally Here and just sit so yeah. Probably that attorney nighttime gang Just always nighttime gang. Mr barry will tell you. Mr fruit will tell you the morning. Yeah he's a morning guy loves mornings. I've i've gotten appreciation for the mornings But like it still sucks waking up. Like i'm never just like wow okay. Yeah let's just hop out of bed and skippy do like. That's a great another day. It's like i. I guess i'll go stream today. I want to wait for this question. for mr fruit to get back. But i'll go for it and we'll try and dissect it as he comes back as us questions for the podcast. Let's say you have a lamp on and it's a two minute two what you've heard this before. No it's going to be a long question do this but let's do this. Okay if you turn the lamp on wait one minute then turn it off. Then wait thirty seconds then turn it back on then wait fifteen seconds then turn it back on then wade seven point five seconds then turn it back on and so on and so forth when the two minute timer is finished with a lampy on or off. This question is called a super task. This question is called. Bullshit is what i don't like this and i'm going. What am i supposed to figure out. Okay so we weigh one minute to turn off so at one minute its off. I wait thirty second so at one thirty. It's off okay. Right so one thirty. It's on okay. So one thirty s on and then one fifth forty five okay here is. Hey we need you. We need you hotdogs. I pay attention. This question is specifically like for you. Not really but you know what i mean. Ask questions for the podcast. Let's say you have a lamp and a two minute timer came. If you turn the lamp on then wait one minute. Then turn it off then wait thirty seconds then turn it back on then wait fifteen seconds then turn it back off then wait seven point five seconds then turn it back on and so on and so forth when the two minute timer is finished with a lampy on or off this question. It's called super task. Was what does it mean super task. I don't know just kind of question. Is i guess john. Copy paste it okay. 'cause i'm way more visual a put it in subscriber chen okay. Boom turn the lamp on the land is on at a minute right off. I turned off at a minute. So it's off at a minute and then it's on at one thirty right and then at one forty five. It's off and then at one fifty two point one fifty two point five. It's on okay. So what's half of one. What's half of seven point. Five three point or three point five so now three point seven okay so three three point seven five plus one was one fifty four one fifty two point. Five is one fifty five so at one fifty five. It's back off so now what's half of three point. Five.

Of Human being you know he's human decency and Of Understanding the politics and the game itself you I, wanted to congratulate you on. Your new markets and they've built you to relate to the common man. So to speak you know I'll followed you back when you ran for Houston City Council and given the opportunity to have the ability to to have the personality that you do to. To get information out to people is something that. Is A god given gift. I. Guess You know and having the ability to relate to other people even with your your celebrity personality. You have the ability to to. You know I I'm sorry I. I don't want to waste your time, but you have the ability to communicate in a way that most people don't. And that appreciation And that is a very important factor especially in today's society having that ability to do that and I just wanted to say, thank you again, listening to you. Help me understand things seeing things from a different perspective. And for sharing your listeners, the ability to help others. what your your ability to pretend pope being a prior military being a first responder and just sharing with others. The the the satisfaction of helping others and some people don't understand that and. You just there's something about it that you carry with you for the rest of your lives. And you have a you have definitely opened up is I've seen it. I've heard it from your different collars wondering like to say is with your last guest from New York I'm not Jewish. But the Jewish community when I was, there was the biggest supporter of our mission there. They. You know there was a gentleman that the shop was not open. We were low on fuel and he opened his own shop to help us out whereas no other people would do that. And that's just to me. That is the epitome of helping helping someone out and helping others help others. And I can't. I'm sorry I just can't thank you enough sir, and because of your long reach. Your Great. region in your radio Repertoire. you. You've helped a lot of people and giving that opportunity. I it's a And every shaped I appreciate you saying I, appreciate you taking the time. To say that, appreciate your service in what you do. Speaking of which if you know a veteran who needs help? Don't wait until it's too late eight, seven, seven, seven, one, seven PTSD is free to the veterans and their families. You will incur no cost. The program works it is veterans who have themselves suffered through PTSD. They've come through the program and the staff members are folks who came to the program and then stayed on as fulltime staff members to help others when from the moment that phone is answered, it cost the veteran nothing. The veteran pays absolutely nothing. The goal is to get them healed it is all donor driven. In fact, I'll ask David Malls this morning. We should be close to nine hundred thousand nowhere close. But when we get to nine hundred thousand. then. I'm going to dedicate that morning show to getting to a million and see if somebody will will read one, hundred, thousand dollar check. You remember we started this I don't know six weeks ago with. Mack started it was Max idea actually and Matt gives back. He'd put up the first one, hundred, thousand dollars and that Ramon you gonNA. Put in one hundred you. Oh, you write a check for one hundred. Yeah. You're. Okay with that, it has to be checked. It will clear. So. When we get to nine hundred, remember we started with the hundred We raised another hundred that day and then. Back. Jim Beck of back masten. Put in another hundred. So we were at on all three, three fifty that first day, and then we've just been plugging along since then and you folks are just given given in given and continue to give. But once we get to nine hundred then I'll make it my goal to get to a hundred that day. To get another one hundred and that will get us to a million bucks and that's what it's GonNa take. And just so you remember. The reason we had to do this is because the program is self sustaining through donations, but there are a series of adventures. Cook off in a lot of guys were tails off to make that Barbecue Cook off. Happen, and coy in Tracy and a lot of our friends participate in that every year. And then there's a skeet shoot..

I don't need to tell you that all this has happened in the middle of a pandemic. Don't they do that? Yeah so I don't have the answer is I. Don't think anybody has the answer that you know we've been watching. The people pass away And hearing from family members that they passed away alone and that you know they aren't able to agree and this is just many many many many times more difficult. Not I really appreciate speaking with you and I'm hearing you talk about your community. Thank you bye bye Tom. Taggart is the councillor representing port. Bill Blair is Canada's Minister of public safety he's responsible for the RCMP. We reached him in Ottawa. Minister Blair we have just heard from a local councillor who describes the trust people have in these communities for the police and that learning that this shooter allegedly impersonated enough. This is such an abuse of that trust. What does that mean to you? You know I understand that completely because the relationship particularly in in some of our smaller rural communities the relationship between the police and the people that they serve there is is is almost like family in in those communities and so that relationship of trust and services is a very important part of the quality of people's lives and their sense of safety and security and certainly that was betrayed by the perpetrator of these terrible crimes. And why would someone have uniform and RCMP car? Well that's one of the reasons the investigation so important go and these fairer in the very earliest hours days of this investigation. And as we've seen just thirty six hours you know doing information keeps on emerging emerging and what we thought we knew in the first few hours as has obviously proven to be incomplete and in some cases inaccurate and so. I think it's really important to the. Cfp Do their job to get to the bottom of it together. All the facts and and give us the answers to the concerns and questions if so many Canadians have a event and then when we have all the facts. I think it'll give said opportunity to have a real careful thought what has transpired and the steps that we can take to make sure it doesn't happen again. You've just spoken with the family families of a constable Heidi Stevenson. Who was shot and killed? How is the family coping as you can imagine they're devastated? There's there's in the home and and the husband Heidi's parents and in laws are all gathered together. I've had to deal with families in in the past experience. Such incredible loss their group of people. And that people you'd love to as neighbors and friends and they just they're going through an experience that it's it's hard to put yourself in their place and understand the depths of their grief but you know they're struggling to it and and you know I. I hope they remember the the pride in Hockey Service and commitment to community by all accounts. She was a member call. They can an integral very hard and community and served or community for for so many years and we will remember the tragic circumstances for death. But I think it's important that we celebrate the service said to show represented by your life. What did you draw onto to say to them? Well I think I think they need to understand in this terrible grief. They're not alone and that they have the support and the love of people from across Canada and they were able to share that with them. Because I have the opportunity to speak to my former colleagues in the law enforcement community work devastated by this terrible crime and they wanNA reach out to that family and under normal circumstances the entire law enforcement community and I just community what would be gathering in large numbers to show their support. Then yet that's That's almost impossible to current circumstances. But I wasn't able to share with them that a country shares weeks and ends there for them in and that they are very much in our thoughts and in our hearts. The prime minister today made a point of saying to journalists that they should not use the photo or name the man responsible that that would be giving him the gift of infamy. Do you agree. Yeah I I think our focus in in our thoughts should all be for the victims and for their families. The individual who was responsible for this crime deserves no no recognition or honor in this. It is despicable. And so I. I do agree with that in the job. In the media's got a job to report the facts into letter presumably known but at the same. How do we report the facts that we don't report? Who did well and just to be clear. I probably accepted the sponsor of the media to report all of the facts including the name of the individual but at the same time. Let us make sure that in no way to give him that gift symphony that the prime minister made reference to his his notoriety and his shame and disgrace for taking these innocence lives. It's does not merit to be remembered what we should be remembering honoring is is the people who lost their lives people who served their communities and their families and their communities themselves have experienced this terrible loss. The person responsible for these crimes desserts nothing more than to be completely forgotten as an individual And what we should do is remembered the the people whose lives he cut. We just spoke with a friend of one of those lives that was cut short women who is grieving the loss of her friend and I asked her what she would want me to ask you. And she said she wants to understand why she wants to understand more about how this came to happen and why it happened. I just wonder if that's included in. That is not finding out who this man was and why he did it that he killed members of families. You killed women isn't responsibility. I don't want to Labor this but is it not the responsibility to know more about the root causes of why this happened a very important part of the investigation that the RCMP are trying to determine all of the facts of this? Case including the motivation. And what gave rise to this house because we have to learn the experience to do everything possible to make sure it never happens again and and so. I'm not suggesting for a moment that canes don't need those answers and deserve those answers. The people do the work that is necessary to give them those answers and at the same time quite often people engage in this type of terrible violent behavior because they're seeking notoriety and fame and and so they should not be rewarded for their heinous acts by by that acknowledgment that remembering let us learn from these circumstances. Let us learn what has happened. And how we can prevent it. And then let's relegate this individual to Iniquity and ignorant for forever and let us instead committed ourselves to remembering the lives that were lost and and the sacrifice that was made by people who are working very hard to prevent the stretch point. "We are not talking WW DC today. Keynotes in just a few hours. Why talk about what we might hear when we're about to hear it. Instead we'll talk tomorrow about what we heard. I do have a question. Are you like me a bit jealous of the people gathered in San Jose for WWE DC? Well, today, I wanna bring you news of another sort of Matt gathering. If you're in or around the Chicago area. Or if you can put it on your travel plans for later this summer. Mac stock is a thing about which you should know every summer a growing number of magazines gets together outside of Chicago to eat, drink be merry all drawn together by their love of the MAC here today to tell us more about it, and how you can be part of it as a longtime friend of mine and of this show. Mr. Barry Faulk to we're talking on the opening day of WW DC, which for people who've never tried, or for people who have exceedingly difficult to get into plus it's really for developers. I mean there's a social angle to it, obviously. But the event itself is for developers. The other way and MAC world doesn't exist anymore. And that leaves avoid is max doc, sort of, like, does it fill that void as it meant to it really is meant to fill that void within a couple areas. And that is, if you wanna learn some really awesome stuff, and did they have some amazing speakers? And of course, there's the social aspect of just getting together. So we're used to have thirty thousand people congregate in San Francisco. And you'd have a multitude of people events and so forth. You couldn't take it all in now you can. That's, that's be maxed doc. It's a smaller conference now there is a social angle domestic stock, and we'll get into that in a bit. But talk to me about the conference, part it self. Are we talking about like entry level to a one? I mean, what is what one is the conference Bet El the special thing is that it's actually split in half in the sense that you have short sessions twenty minute sessions crossed the morning, and it's it's actually across two days you can do a one day or two day pass, but you can get a nice feel at a high level about certain topics. And so max talk this year, it's focuses called create who all creation using the tools, getting creative ideas and meeting, some of these wonderful speakers that have these ideas and then taking that in the afternoon session, they have deeper dive. So you spend a lot more time up to an hour where you're like I was really enjoying. Dave Ginsburg, for example, is talking about using notes in IOS, and then he'll talk about your high level what can do, but then in the afternoon he'll really get into the power features. How synchronizes in the benefits, same thing with, like, what Wally Wenski do in video presentations, and he's actually doing film festival. So we'll talk about it at the high level, how to create some of this and, you know, then you can say okay well between those two I not really a video guy, but for work, I'm just using, you know, no pad or literally paper all learn more about using notes power tool, and then you tend that deeper dive, and you're really get the, you know, the, the attention the detail and all these speakers are great because they're not just speaking at you. They're going to do q, a they're gonna provide live detail and again, it customizes so it's almost like a personal experience. But you're within a group so you get a lot of the feedback. A lot of other good ideas. And that's where I think this really the conference shines. Is that ability to just make it your own be part of a bigger thing? Remind me, I can't remember if we were talking before or if it was, when we started recording about how many people turn up, so usually it's a one hundred fifty to two hundred it varies this year, we have a good potential of going up. More one of the special things this year is the five hundred show for the MAC power users group. So David Sparkes who's been with MAC power.

"And here's the thing. So the album covers cool it's got to be around front cover. Let me talk about that. Real quick any go back and pull that what's again. Like, I say my older notes when I was doing my source material. I wasn't putting the record covers in my notes. But I do that now. So it's just a reminder. The growth even when I was doing reviews. Okay. From start to finish. Yes. So the record cover for this is nice. It's. It's a black might cover says Chuck on top Chuck Berry and this pitcher out. No, this was like taking painting or I think it might have been taken from a painting from a well was taking from photo and painted it this black and white. Portrait. And it's Chuck and he's got his eyes closed got the tire leaning out. And he's almost like doing the split on the floor and his eyes closed and his mouth is closed. And it's just like he's in that special place while he's playing very cool cover someone to mention that to you. Okay. So. Yeah. This his last two album was nineteen seventy nine so thirty thirty nine years ago now to be exact. And this album became the first. The sea. Hip that you can't top ten Debbie number nine. As opposed to you must release posthumous. He started up Shen in nineteen ninety one. Wow. So took a long time. I finish us record. Okay. I wanted to say about him. I mean, we all know he's famous for Chinese girls his most famous song, but maybe lean sweet little sixteen. He's roll over Beethoven. I mean, major influence on the Beatles and the Rolling Stones and most rat groups came from England and most rat groups in America, I mean. Yeah. Rock and roll was such a new phenom that his music was played. They were put it on the charts before they even established a rock and roll trips later. Mentioned that to you guys. But the cover the. I want to save out this record. So you say he started this ninety one. I would just the notes from that review that I did. He didn't talk about this out for a while. He fished at two thousand fourteen he announced that his ninetieth birthday on October eighteenth. That would be what would excuse me that would be released on June sixteenth two thousand seventeen but unfortunately, Mr. Barry didn't live odyssey released. He died on the eighteenth of March. In his house in Saint Charles county, Missouri. Let's see. They released a record on tone do all tone. Let's see. Me the sauce on Chuck sound similar to other songs bears may be good and roll over Beethoven. But what difference lyrics if you ever listened to Chuck Berry before this is completely normal? But berry often takes his old saw. It gives them new lyrics. Chuck Berry has had a good ride in the rock and roll industry and pretty much created. Yes, he did. John Lennon stated that the Beatles. He wants said if you want another name for rock and roll call Chuck Berry in Mr. told the truth minute regard. So I'll get into the smart view of this record after this break. TV has changed over time. Streaming has become the new norm. That's why Golden State media. If you're not pissing off a few people along the way, you're not trying very hard. I hate to take phrase from cat Williams, but I will. I recently heard cat William say if you have a ninth hater get a tenth. So I kind of it's a little negative, but I do understand what he was saying. But berry cats should be a mentor to us all. I'm gonna forget and never bring up one night stand up again. Although I learned a very valuable lesson. Tommy Allott. I always praise comedy, central roast battle for giving me my first TV appearances. I do appreciate that. And on that list of ten things I need to not do. Again, it's better us is number one for me. "Present to maybe the greatest comedy mind of all time. The most famous comedy manager of all time. This guy's if it's out there, he's done it. If it's not out there, he didn't wanna do it. Mr. Barry cats. What even smoking the African binge Weeden. That set has stayed with me for twelve years. You see what's wrong with Alaba, stand up comics. Generalist fact like you remember things that happened in your career like that, like somebody in the regular world would remember the death of a family member, but I was so excited to get up in front of you in front of me. Yeah, because you know, you're dating cooks manager. Last comic standing was still incredibly popular, and I was like, wow, this is a chance to get in front of berry cats and and performance out going on last comic standing, which I wouldn't think would be a good venue for me. Because I think you have to see me for a few minutes to go, okay, get in Alaska standings, quicker clips of comics act. And then I used to wear hockey jerseys on stage. And as the Kevin Smith of stand up, comedy minus the success. Earl, I don't know if you've noticed, but you're, you're extremely successful while I'm doing. You know, it's. I think if I could inspire comics, it's to keep at it. You know, I went virtually fifteen years with nothing. I mean, literally, I did one movie with rob Schneider David Spade in two thousand four, and that's it. And you know, there's a lot of times I felt like quitting and after that performance, it really harms me mentally for a big for longtime. Wow, this is my shot and I blew it. Something that most people listening should know is that. Nothing is your singular shot. It's never going to be that way in less you make that way. I guess I would put so much. You're right, you know, like you said on the phone when we were talking Bill, Belichick, failed in Cleveland. Yeah. I mean, he was a failure was fired fired coach fired football co, which and one of the things that you said? Well, he went to New England and they were a winning program. Well, no, they weren't. I think they were, were they? God knows they had double digit losses the year before he came in. So. Anything can happen in this business. I've seen it over and over and over again in your in incredibly inspirational story. And I, I really was looking forward to doing this podcast with you thankfully at lunchtime, because those are the only times normally when I can do anything. I do my podcast where I normally interview people during one lunchtime what we can, and then I add it on Sundays to probably therapeutic sessions by my son's later on their lives to think of where was daddy. But. Making money, but I just I really wanted to come here because I think you are an example of somebody who you know perseveres so many, no. Is that you've gotten in your lifetime? I listened to the podcast with Tommy the former Booker of the comedy store and and those stories, and all the adversity that you went through and I, I wanted to share something with you that I think will cause I learn a lot from. My podcast, which is odd because you think you're doing something to maybe inspire other people which does. But I learned a lot from two and one of the stories that I, I really couldn't wait to share with you was that of I interviewed reader Rudd in there and she said that I can. I could interview, but I had to go to Laguna of all places on the weekend. So I took a day trip and I enter like God knows how many gates their arts of this property. It's a palatial mansion. I can build a studio in the house or you can get studio musicians to play background or you. I can hire the greatest photographer to do the art for your CD.
