"Investigation Tommy. Tommy says he lied to police about more than just the paper. He said he was actually with Martha longer than that until about ten. PM and according to the daily beast. He now says that before they parted ways the two engaged in basically like some stuff. Okay. That might explain why her pants are pulled down, but there's no sign of sexual assault or anything. So I was thinking about that like I think at first when you hear that you're like Oh, that's an explanation. But to me that only makes sense if Tommy was the person who killed her because it's not like he's going to pull up his pants and. Whatever they're doing is done, he pulls up his pants and walks away and she's just sitting there hanging out with her underwear at her ankles like that makes no sense for any way to do, and you can't even say that they were like in the middle of something and then she got attacked by someone else because then Tommy should been there for the attack and said something and he would've known you know what I mean, right? So what about Michael? Though, you said his story had changed to yeah in a very weird way. So his original story was that he was visiting some cousins like nowhere near the Moxley House and that is still his store. He visited his cousins then came home. The difference is, now he says that he left his house again around midnight Klein a tree side Martha's window and masturbated up in the tree I I'm sorry. What's isn't that the weirdest strangest thing you've ever heard US definitely up there and my biggest thing with this is. This isn't he was on the you can miss remember neither of these stories. These news stories are the kinds of details, but you accidentally leave out. You don't forget that you climbed a tree. Yeah. They're like really a release specific right and they're super incriminating for both brothers and it puts them both in and around the crime scene. But again, even with all of this commotion around the Changing Stories and all this brought up again because of the bulk and this article, and there's all this media interest, eventually, it all dies down again. But. The case doesn't stay out of the limelight for long because in nineteen ninety eight, a whole new generation learns about the case after another book comes out called murder in Greenwich who killed Martha Moxley, and this is actually how I I learned about the case and the author of this book claims that he's cracked it and get this. The author of that book is none other than Mark Furman. Oh, that's the name I. Recognize Ya I had a feeling. So it is the same lapd detective Mark Furman who became notorious for his racial slurs his. During the OJ Simpson. Case which I again, I know you're obsessed, I knew you'd recognize his name. So markets interested in this case because of Dominic. Dunn who gives him access to the PI report now, marks book is pretty clear on two things. First that the Greenwich Police dropped the ball in a big way investigating Martha's murder and second, he says, he knows who the killer really is according to mark firms. Book. Martha. Moxie was murdered not by Tommy, Skakel, but by his older brother. Michael. Based on what? He says based on Michael's confession and confession is a loose word. I'm going to call confession issued a statement. So let me explain like there's air quotes around the word. Confession. Yeah. So the thing about Michael is that he's kind of this text book poor Little Rich Kid. Now, we talked about the Kennedy Curse in one of our headlines Segments over in Orlando Club, and that extends all the way out to the cousin. So the scales weren't One Big Happy Family Russian was an alcoholic, he was away from home a lot, and after his wife and died, he left kind of the whole parenting of seven kids thing to nannies and tutors. Religious figures in the church kind of basically opting for like an open checkbook closed emotions, kind of style of nurturing. Often the kids would like fight with each other would get violent drugs and alcohol were easily accessible even at very, very young ages and in. In his book Mark Furman says that by age fifteen, Michael was already a very heavy drinker and was actually drunk the night Martha died. Now, we know there's at least some truth to him being a heavy drinker because he got a Dui in nineteen, seventy eight and afterwards, he was sent to this fancy like rehab slash reform school in Maine called Ilan school and it's a pretty well known school for being a haven for troubled rich kids and Michael. About his time there in his own book proposal, which is where mark gets the information to prop up his claims and what he's calling this like confession ish thing. So according to Time magazine Michael wrote in that book proposal that part of his treatment was group which sounds pretty standard, right? Yeah. Totally. accept. It wasn't, or at least it was nothing like any group therapy that I've ever heard of according to Michael. He was forced to wear a sign around his neck that said quote. I am an arrogant rich Brat. Confront me on why killed my friend Martha. End Quote. What mark says, he confirmed this story about the sign which was in Michael's own would be book proposal by talking to some people who had actually been with Michael during these group sessions, and one of the people said that he was at group therapy that Michael allegedly blurted out that he killed Martha. So I mean this is like a huge revelation at this point. So within a month of Mark's book coming out in the summer of Nineteen Ninety Eight, the state of Connecticut actually puts together a grand jury to go over all of the evidence and see if they can actually use this and press charges based on a book about a book proposal from what I can gather. Apparently, that's what I'm gathering from this. So when they bring this grand jury together, fifty three witnesses testify over the next year and a half, and finally in January two, thousand, nearly twenty, five years from Martha's death and arrest warrant is issued. But it's not a warrant for Michael's arrest according to the online. The warrant is for an unnamed juvenile. When you need your bank capital, one is right in the palm of your hand. "In Martha's diary. She actually wrote that Tommy had a crush on her and kept trying to, as she put it get to first and second base, and she wasn't into it. Not so much in September of Nineteen, seventy, five, she wrote quote. I, can't be friends with Tom just because I talked to him, it doesn't mean I like Kim, I really have to stop going over there and quote. But she didn't stop going over there. As we know because the last place Martha was seen alive was his house. Now to go back to the autopsy because of this whole like rigmarole with the out of town medical examiner, the autopsy was delayed, and so that doesn't happen until November I. Ideally, an autopsy should happen within twenty four hours after a person dies and the longer you wait the harder, it is to be precise about certain things like, for example, time of debt, right. So the delay in Martha's autopsy means that the best the medical examiner can determine is that Martha died sometime between nine thirty PM on October. October thirtieth and fight am on the thirty first. Okay. But that's a huge window huge window. But based on what police are finding out in their investigation. They think that Martha was most likely killed around the start of that timespans closer that nine thirty mark and best. They can tell the got to that time not because of something physical in her autopsy because Dorothy and a few others in the neighborhood, all say that they heard dogs barking around nine thirty PM. So that combined with the window makes them think that something was happening in the neighborhood around that time that was abnormal. Of course, is the only thing. Thing that night that that? That is this big right right now, I wasn't able to find anything meaningful really that came out of the autopsy, but I was curious to know about sexual assault since we know that Martha was found with her pants down. But honestly don't feel like I got a definitive answer since we don't have an actual copy of EMI's final report, but it seems like sexual assault was not part of the equation at least according to sources e news and the Los Angeles Times by early November police are more confident than ever. That Tommy is their guy. There's just one big problem. There is no more. More, physical evidence to tie Tommy to the scene. So police move on to basically start crossing their TS dotting. Their is to make sure that they've ruled out like everyone else that it could possibly be even though they think they have their man and their work was cut out for them. Because as it turns out, Tommy wasn't the only guy in Martha's life, and he's not even the only potential suspect in the mix police also talked to Martha's Boyfriend Peter They also interview the school tutor Ken and they even look hard at a neighbor in Belle. Haven that everyone thought was kinda creepy guy named. Dan conners whose. Twenty, old Grad student. But none of those leads get them any closer to the truth and by Christmas of seventy five police have interviewed two, hundred, fifty people. They'd done a polygraph tests, but any leads they might have had early on in the investigation are just drying up fast wait. So they didn't end up arresting. Tommy. No, I mean. But not for lack of trying they even polygraphed Tommy. Not once. But twice the first test came back inconclusive. I'm police think. Think that maybe they were getting somewhere. But the next has just a couple of days later comes back clear according to the test. He wasn't lying. So it feels like they're back at square one and square one is where this investigation would stay for fifth teen years. Nothing moves. On this case, there are no leads no suspects, no arrests until the early nineteen nineties when Martha's murder hits the headlines again, and this time, it's not because of the goals but. Of, their very famous relatives, the Kennedys in Nineteen Ninety one William Kennedy Smith. WHO's one of President JFK's nephews and one of Tommy and Michael's cousins is actually charged with rape down in Florida and during his trial, a room or POPs up. But he was actually at the State House, the night Martha Moxley was murdered watts. Miss that. Well, it turns out. They didn't the rumors and being just that rumors. But that doesn't stop the media from once again, digging into Martha's murder and it turns out there digging pays off because there is more to uncover in early summer of Nineteen ninety-one, The New York Post publishes an article about how nearly a decade prior. So this would have been nineteen eighty to a couple of Greenwich. Newspapers recruited a reporter named Leonard. Let it to an investigative piece on the case. But when he did after it was completed, they wouldn't run his story. What why not? Well, apparently, during his investigation Leonard Unearth, these old rumors that the Greenwich Police were paid off back in the nineteen seventies by who? Who Leonard doesn't say, but that's honestly the least of their worries at this point because Leonard's investigative work also uncovered just how badly behold Greenwich law enforcement community actually handled the entire investigation I. Mean I mentioned before they didn't have a murder to investigate in the thirty years before Martha's debt. So they really didn't have any good idea of what they were doing like. Here's a perfect example of what he found apparently after her body was discovered police left her body totally unattended like to the point that a neighborhood dog was like walking all over the crime scene and not only that they had a funeral director, not a medical examiner, move her body from the Moxley property to the emmys Office for. For the autopsy, which like completely violates sort of chain of custody right and I mean again after you've already had a dog trample all over the crime scene, none of this was protected. It's not what you would want to see if you were conducting a thorough investigation and I think part of the problem was there had to have been on the police's part, some kind of fear of missed stepping or somehow offending these incredibly wealthy and powerful people, and that's what you see over and over again, I think it's part of the reason they responded so fast and maybe part of the reason they didn't hammer in hard in the early days like they should have like. So get this Ken Littleton who? Who is the kids tutor who had just moved into their house? The very night of the murder. He didn't get formerly questioned until the summer of Nineteen, seventy six like, yeah. They asked him like a couple of questions at the time, but police didn't offering him in set him down, do a formal yet like questioning not until almost a year after Martha's murder my God, and again to put it in perspective, he's not even a Kennedy cousin. He's just like attached to them. Right, and here's another example even though police new Tommy was the last person to see Martha Allied, even though they could match the murder weapon directly to the Skakel family within forty eight hours of Martha's murder. Police, never. got a warrant to do a full search of their property. You're kidding me now, they did get permission from the family to do a search of their home. But here is the part that like makes me WANNA rip my hair out and scream the police didn't even conduct the search themselves wait so. The skills offered their place to be searched to the police. Like. Thanks. But no thanks one and I know they had it searched. But who exactly? So. They are like,.

"When fifteen year? Old, Martha Moxley. I asked her mom Dorothy can go out with her friends on October Thirtieth Nineteen, seventy, five Dorothy says no, and not because she's overly strict or anything. But because Martha has been grounded for something small that she did the weekend before, but Martha really wants to go out though because you see October thirtieth is mischief night in her little Connecticut town. Okay. What's mischief night? Yeah. We didn't have that growing up, but apparently that's the night before Halloween where kids in their town traditionally go around playing like little harmless pranks on their neighbors. Nothing terribly destructive. Just stuff like you know toilet papering the trees and playing Ding, Dong? Ditch. Fun Teenage stuff. Yeah. Yeah. So it's not like missing prom. But when you're fifteen, even the smallest social gatherings make your Oh, act up hard and she is determined to convince her mom to let her go and she only has to convince her mom because her dad is actually out of town on a business trip. So she starts really laying it on thick. She's telling her mom, it's not fair older brothers allowed to go and have fun. She has to stay home. She just begs and begs using every line in the book and finally finally Dorothy says okay fine go pull some pranks but make sure your back by nine thirty. The evening drags on Dorothy pretty uneventfully until nine thirty rolls around, and there's no sign of Martha now Dorothy doesn't freak out right away. Martha's a teenager and being late is sort of kind of a theme on mischief night. She's annoyed and Martha's probably going to hear about it. But whatever. But nine, thirty turns to ten Ben Eleven, and before she knows it, it's two o'clock in the morning and Martha still is not home. DOROTHY decides to call over to Martha's best friend Sheila's house to see if maybe Martha decided to spend the night there. But Sheila hasn't seen Martha either by the time three, thirty rolls around, and they're still no Martha Dorothy tries another one of Martha's friends the neighbor Tommy. Skakel. But he says that he doesn't know where Martha is either. So at three. Three. Forty five in the morning, this is now Halloween Day. Dorothy makes the decision to call police according to the new. York Daily News three police officers come to the Moxley's house and right away they start their search for Martha with Dorothy right alongside them. But after a cursory look around the area, they don't find anything. I'm a little surprised. The police took this. So seriously like right away especially on this sort of mischief where kids are getting into all sorts of little mischief things. I'm not saying that they shouldn't have. But you I have been doing this for a while it's not really what we usually see. No, I was actually kind of surprised as well. Because I mean, often what we hear is I mean the crazy stuff like twenty four or forty, eight plus hours. We're not gonNA invest again specially on mischief night when this is kind of like par for the course. Exactly. But there's another reason I think they showed up right away. So it's important to understand that Greenwich where this takes place and especially the Belle haven. Where the Moxley's live is a very rich area and I'm talking like generations of old money. This is one of the richest areas in the entire country. There's hardly any crying people definitely. Don't just go missing from Bell Haven. So yeah, it got their attention for sure. So with no sign of Martha that first day and no sleep yet for Dorothy everyone kind of decides that. That, the best thing to do here is just get some sleep and hope that when Dorothy wakes up, she's just GonNa Find Martha Sleeping safely in her room. This whole thing is going to be a huge misunderstanding, but before the police had away from the Moxley's, they do put together a missing persons report for Martha and they send it to all of the nearby police stations. Stations. So they can keep a lookout for her to, and you know if it comes to it and she's still not there in the morning like they can actually join in on the search in this small town the next day they need it and it turns out that they're gonNA need it because by ten am on Halloween Day Martha's bed is still empty. No sign of. Of her she never came home. No. One's even heard from her at this point now. Dorothy, can't just sit there. She's like too anxious. She needs to do something. So she keeps trying to call around and she calls one of Martha's other friends. It and Helen tells her that. No, she's not with Martha, but she had seen her the night before and the last time. Time. She'd seen her Martha was leaving the House next door, the Ski Goggles Wait Tommy, Skakel? Yes. So apparently, their house was kind of like go to spot where kids tend to hang out because there wasn't a whole lot of adult supervision over there. Now, remember Dorothy already called them in the middle of the night, but the oldest son said that he didn't know wear Martha. Martha was. So she decided to just go over there herself and see what's up and Tommy's younger. Brother Markle is actually the one who answers the door and there's this big camper thing parked outside and Dorothy asked, Michael. If maybe Martha was insight that camper sleeping or something. But when he takes her to the camper to check inside the camper is empty and I have. have to imagine like when she's she's going and asking them like this stuff. I don't think anything like sinister is going on in her mind. She sleeping off in a camper. She fell asleep somewhere with a friends mischief night like this is what is supposed to happen almost. Yes. But when she's not in the camper, it's completely empty both the Greenwich Police and Dorthy and A. A growing group of people who've come out to help are all starting to get a little concerned and they're all out searching for Martha and then just before one? PM. Sheila comes running in to Martha's house. Totally hysterical. Practically hyperventilating and through her tears Sheila is able to tell Martha's mom that something terrible has happened Martha's been attacked. She's not moving call nine, one one. Now, Dorothy Jean. WHO's with Dorothy? The time that Sheila comes running in tells Dorothy, listen you stay put. I'M GONNA, go check I'M GONNA. Go See if Martha's all right like you don't need to go look. But when gene goes check on Martha Martha is in alright. What she sees is Martha lying face down on the ground with her jeans and underwear pulled down to her ankles. The back of her skull has been completely savaged by a beating and she's She's been stabbed in the neck, a broken golf club like I mean, it's literally sticking out of the back of her next when she comes upon the scene and pieces of this golf club are scattered all over the place. Now, interestingly, what isn't around I? Mean pieces of all around everywhere. But the piece that might be the most useful for them. The grip because I mean instinct would tell you, that's probably where you're gonNA get fingerprints from that part is. Is. Nowhere, to be found. But when she brings police, there is enough for police to determine the club is a six iron and this high end brand is made by a company or person called Tony Penna. Okay. But where exactly did they find her body? So this is the crazy part to me. She was actually so close to her own home according to an American justice episode called a murder in. Greenwich. Bay. Find Martha, laying face down under some pine. Pine trees about two hundred feet away from her very own house, like literally, you still on her own property weren't Dorsey and the police searching the night before and even.

How would you describe that to the uninitiated? That is three question 'cause I pretty much just Go out there and be myself in the The standard rule of thumb wrestling for good. Breslin Garrett or you know that. Really Click on all cylinders is just the yourself with the kind of Cliche, but be yourself with the volume turned up to eleven, so I'm pretty a pretty aggressive pretty face. You know you can't really faze me well. Explain this to me when you say I've been through all of it. What are you talking about their? And specifically? What are you talking about? As regards the physical pain? Wrestling. Most physical sport you know in the world of athletes, football players and People from other sports. You know, think like Oh. It's. I can walk right in there and do that. 'cause you know it's not real competition that anybody can do that, right? It's not the case at all. It's actually. It is one of the things to master you know on the intellectual side and the physical side and you know what all. I've been through everything whatever it's not just getting slammed on dump. Jackson barbed wire and thrown off a cages and set on fire, and all that like that's all the easy part like you know just the. Years and years of being on the road. The easy part. D Three hundred days a year for years and years, and like the night in night out, getting slammed working through injuries. you know just It's all your body, but I went pretty good place to physically right now so the second hold on hold on John. So the easy part you just described I believe as being thrown on barbed wire and being set on fire. That's the thing you just did, and you didn't even mention the staph infection that nearly killed you. That's not fun. That's not fun. Surgeries and Hospital and stuff is not fun. I've been pretty. Lucky I've only had. One issue that required surgery and they required like three of them, because it was like a tricep repair and then. Go back in for staph infection, and then back in again over a year later to get rid of the rest of the staff. So really only one issue. Pretty lucky overall I'm just used to. Let. People's like how how do you? How do you feel today? Like might may wind is like I feel like crap that's. I'm so. I'm so used to be entertained. All right John, but it's. It's pretty chill morning here like nine in the morning. So like you know I'm still like I can barely move at this point. You know John Holdings. I like the train early in the morning. For you know, it's just something I. Do I augment my actual showering with Gibson. The pool that include Shampoo on the Lippo my pool in. It's a beautiful luxurious thing because you know you shampoo your head, and then you, you submerge you. Hold your nose. You Submerge, and you shake your head. Yerma, put it on. The poll plays at Lebatardshow is Shams report that three hundred and forty six NBA players were tested in the bubble and zero were positive. The I hope you had that basketball might actually be able to pull this off at Lebatardshow because nothing sports. Nothing has felt very sports Hopi stugatz. Even as they talk about the opening of the sports. There's something about all of this feels like they're going to have to close this down again, right? We're mishandling this. We don't deserve this as a country. We've been the most terrible country as it regards this. This the other countries that have gotten back to sports have been more careful South Korea fixed their problem almost immediately while south, Florida has more positive test and a couple of days in South Korea had. As a country the entire time you're right. That's outfields outside the bubble, but inside the bubble it feels like an NBA playoff is about to happen i. mean no one tested positive and the people in the NBA The players in the NBA who have tested positive are not allowed in the bubble as the NBA predictably everyone thought is getting this right at least thus. Yes for this day, though, but we don't know what's coming. It's all very strange. Were we continue to be scared? It is a super weird time. It doesn't feel like sports should be returning. Even as we all understand that the money sports his necessary for this economy where we work, it's early, but it seems as though bubbles work. When the virus has nowhere to go, it dies makes me concern for football, because they're not doing the bubble at least not yet, and they have much larger Rosser so that seems a little bit more concerning. Apologize The baseball because I remember baseball suggested this bubble idea the three. You were just grueningen saying how stupid a bubble! How are they gonNA put all the teams in a bubble. That'll never word, but such a bad idea. No one will ever do that and then they didn't do that because everybody laughed at them, and then basketball did that seems to be working now. "Let's actually go back to last week for a minute and talk about the Moxley Hager match in. This is related to something. I was GONNA say few minutes go. There just came back to me which is with the thinned-out rosters in in going to the last question about people who have been shining in the empty arena setting some of it's getting TV time and not falling flat on their face or having bad things for them or pulling up things for them. Well but it's hard to become a star if you're Angel Garza. If you're not part of a large crowd reacting to you like you're a star One of the things that that Buddha W early on is at a bunch a bunch of relatively unknown wrestlers to a lot of people. Hundreds of thousands of people watching had heard of these people didn't know who they were. I heard from them every week. Frustrated people emailing going. Who are these people I I? They haven't told us who they are. There's put him in the ring and have them wrestle and it's a good match but I want to know more about him and yet those people were a lot of them were won over because the people attending the shows reacted to them like they were stars. And that is that that yes. That's two thirds are half the battle is you turn on the television people reacting to some performer. Like they're a big deal and then you you know and then you get you get up to speed on them somehow and either buy or not buy or you know and it's you know and right now like the biggest horse right now is Michael Jordan. Because he's Because number one that he was great he was great. And he's and number two as you're watching this. You're watching stuff where he's great in front of these crowds and really accomplishing things. You've never seen him before you catch on pretty fast like okay. This is someone I need to pay attention to. And that's what was happening with You Know Gina. The fans reacted honors. Castio whoever was as As a star and it might take People at home who are used to sitting in wrestling as wwe wrestling might take them a little while to to detach onto why and or it might take them never catch onto. Why is like? It's just not something that's gonNA appeal to them. And I think what you're doing is a w because of inti arenas lost that a somebody's new astros lost that advantage well and it's tough to you can't create new start right now. I mean going in going to to what Jack wrote. There's some people shining but nobody's going to become a new star wrestling in an empty venue without fans reacting to them. So W is the best. You can eras like you can do. Yep exactly so we. We talked about your McIntyre. You know being in that situation so Jon Moxley you know yes they. They build it. As as a feature not a flaw in having an empty arena match it which was sort of funny because like all matches Irina matches right now But they they put that on last week. They went along with it and both annexed. Awa found out. You know. There's there's a a length of time. People are willing to watch a match right now period and they push past it and they both viewers. Moxley is in this challenging situation like drew to relative relatively similar age they both took different paths but but winding journeys to where they are and they're both the top world champion. I mean Braun US champion by accident by substitution but drew was on a journey and one. Moxie was on a journey in one and Mosley had a challenge last week with Jake. Hager who again he got he. He's seen as credit goes to the revival. The conversation we had to he was not used as a top guy. Wwe Awa put him out there and you know he was a sidekick for Jericho and company they put the they did a great job tried to turn them into a star with the video features but when it came time for the match. It just didn't work on the level that I think some people in w including Jon Moxley and Tony. Kahn thought it did so. I guess springboard off of there but what what are you. Would you think about that? I thought that Jake Hager was built to be a really credible opponent for the world heavyweight championship. The John Mosley Hell on television. That's a different thing as to being the The guy in the middle of the bigger show than the TV shows of the pay per view. So that's why you know there should be You know when the show goes to pay per view than you're paying extra for art and you're washing on different time. It should be more so there should be something more than just watching it on Wednesday nights on as as important as those shows are there should be extra there should be more and so to build him to be television made of I thought that was really smart. And and good and what they've done with him as the Hammock giving you too much of him. This was the first time where you've got too much. You know he you know he's the muscle for less champion and he he might stand there and look mean and look effective and do nothing a lot of the Tom and then when he might do one thing and or two things a NASA. And maybe you take one bump navy he want and instead send to He's a he's a guy in a you know a star Delatour and and he's A. He's a threat with them. But I I also thought like Tommy was was here too. Unlike this was a mash that light empty arena didn't work the really worked against it but it was also and timing was part of this and everybody involved in the timing of this. Wwe And in a W should've thought this through like what's the other side GonNa do what fans have been watching. Because in that one week we have seen between edge and Orton and then Johnny Gargano and Shaba in Annex T. We're seeing these long as empty arena walking brawls Whacking taking somebody in one one guy taking an object and bashing it into the other guy and then the loud groaning because there is no body you know there's nobody in the arena and went on. It was a sadistic masochistic on in on thing.

"I can't disagree with you. Bali these are the little things Despite the fact that much like you I enjoyed the entire segment. I was into it. I liked it but there were two things to me. Actually there were three things to me. That were so glaring. I'm sitting back and I'm going. Why how like? I thought that was great that the referee took the belt away from 'em J. F. But then he watched cody use. It and people are going to say well. Cody was begging and pleading with the referee that you know. Mj Whip Tim Tim Times. Yeah because that was the stipulation cody had to accept that quote unquote punishment if he wanted this match. That belt should've never been legal right in front of the referees is that's a little part that I disagree with despite liking the whole match. And Billy this is why and thank you because this is when you become the teacher on this show because you're one hundred percent right and you took me to school and I went to class because quite honestly your thousand percent right if you have. Blood feud like that. And somebody like M J F gets busted open. That's a significant part in the match. Now despite everything that was going on with brandy aren't wardlow. That probably should have been a move or should have been highlighted because that's a major part and obviously Jr Beta of repeating it twice that he was busted open. That was a significant turn in the match where people probably should have been grabbed in their attention grabbed. And you're absolutely right and then when it comes to the officiating and a lot of people go get on a w about the lack of officiating if you're going to say the positive which was the Jericho in Moxley match where they did a great job of explaining what she was doing. Officiating that Main Event Championship match then in a blood feud match like we saw with them. J. F. and cody. They should have done some explaining their. I can't this pulley. It's hard for me to disagree with you because you're right. I'll take you to the third part that had me scratching my head a little bit the finish. How did J. F. Win were the how did he? How did he win the match like really? Well yeah the the the ring? The he had the foreign Durang and head coach. Did you. Did you ever see the Ringo on? Mj FS hand. No never see 'EM J F. Hit Him with the ring. I mean now you you saw in his entrance. He handed the ring to wardlow. And then you saw wardlow handed him something that you would have to think that it was the ring. So cody got knocked out with the ring which I have no problem with. I wish I would have seen that ring a little bit more as a fan so I knew they did a good job of telling me on commentary the Damn Kid had the ring on good job by Jr and the guys that announced but Mj took to crossroads right before that. Twenty twenty five minutes deep after he was busted open and bleeding. They basically no sold to crossroads to me a little. Bit of a disconnect. I can't because he did. He hit him with two and then he picked them up to do a third crossroads. And that's when Mj heff hit him with the ring. Fuck now I got. I got to go back and watch the match again. You know when I'm not pointing these things out to a to screw with you. I'm telling you that as a fan watching this match those are things that stuck out to me. I'm not sitting there and you know putting it under a microscope and looking for things that are wrong. I completely invested in that match invested in the whole show but when I see Samba the he'll bleeding. I'm asking myself what the hell just happened. How is he bleeding? Why is he bleeding? Did I miss something? And if you're going to have a moment in time like that you should be never asking yourself. How did this happen because M J of bleeding was a big deal? Totally finally got the opportunity to get back at M. F. Now I know people are GonNa say oh well. He whip them with the belt. That's fine but he should have never been allowed to whip him with the belt. And if you'RE GONNA bust he'll open. I want to know how he did it and I get it and you know what I still enjoyed the match anyway like and you're bringing up points that are extremely valid and understandable that. You're watching it in the moment and you're questioning it. I think and this is where I gotta give M J F O of all people credit. I think he's so good at what he does that. I glossed over a lot of what you're talking about until you brought it up and I was so caught and here's the thing bullying you could get on me and the fans could get on me and it's not even about being caught up cody's ask because this is more about praising M J F than anything else is that I was so caught up in that match. I didn't see those glaring mistakes like you did. Now maybe I should have. But I didn't and I was really entertained and M J F to me did a phenomenal job on Saturday night. I will give you two out of three of those things because you are so caught up in the match if you didn't realize that up the belt situation with the wrath if you are so caught up in the match or just like Yay referee. Let cody use the belt. Okay I'll give you that if you were so caught up in the match yourself. Holy Shit that just got hit with to crossroads and still was able to hit him with the. You've got caught up in that. That's fine how you did not question the blood and how dot they're beyond me. I like I wish like. Jr would have said well. Maybe when he took the kick the bottle cody's boot Busted him open or maybe when he fell down he hit a piece of steel on the railing and he was bustling. I had I didn't know from the move and I didn't know from commentary. How the he'll was bleeding and maybe it's the fact that they didn't know either they probably didn't want to speak out of turn and say something. That may have been obvious for the people watching on TV. And I can understand that bully like if you're Jr and you didn't catch it and maybe you're so worried that other people have caught it. You're probably not going to say anything. But it's a moment that was completely lost. One of the brightest new. Usc You know what you're doing. With the next level you know. "And center on that poster no cody Rhodes and listen in the world of pro wrestling cody Rhodes is a huge name is cody Rhodes roads big enough to be in the middle of that poster he would be my third choice based on name notoriety around the world okay now with Evolution Youth Movement you one avenue superstars and he's going to be our guest today at ten A._M.. With hangman page be the right person to put in the middle of that poster no so it really does come down to Moxley and Chris Jericho and again. It falls into that same thing that you're talking about two former W._W._e.. Superstars does the poster give you the feeling or insinuate that Jericho is the biggest star in the company. Yes or just asking your opinion on it. I'm not saying that I like it or don't like it. I just found it interesting. That Jericho is the middle of the crash. You know the middle of the poster basically subconsciously tells tells you is. This is the guy all right so the poster tells you Jericho is the guy the perception is Jericho. The Guy is the guy let me ask you is Jericho the guy if somebody was to come up to you boy and say who's the biggest superstar superstar that a e w has what would your answer be. It's gotta be tied of me. Between Jericho and Moxley see I would probably go with Jericho. It's the only reason I'm saying Moxie is because of that that that new passion and excitement that he brings to the company Jericho's been around much longer than Moxley Jericho without doubt known all over the world. You know what in talking about it with you. Yeah you gotta go with Jerry. It is it is the answer Moxley I guess is the freshest steam to the company. Yeah and again deserves to be on the poster. I just don't know if he should be a front and center interesting thing to this press release. There was a big article in Forbes magazine and it says that industry insiders are anticipating an audience of around four hundred to five hundred thousand thousand for A._W._S.. Television Premiere on T._N._T.. Interesting number because we talk about the low ratings for the W._W._e.. But obviously those numbers would be much lower than you see on raw and smackdown but there's an upside because that's telling you that the industry insiders aren't expecting a huge audience for a w so that's going to be to their advantage because if they do fall in between that four hundred five hundred number it's going to be hey. This is what was expected. This is is what we thought was going to happen. I think they have a really good chance of getting a higher number then that here's an interesting comparison whenever I throw those polls up on social media at the end of Monday night raw or the end of W._W._e.. Pay Per view. I normally get between ten thousand and fifteen thousand responses or votes on the poll for the W poll. I got just over five thousand responses us which which kind of is comparative to what you just said about what industry insiders predict. I actually think that's on the low side but then again I thought raw would do a bigger rating with the returning in legends and you hit you dead on balls accurate you said about three million and you're right man is it's five hundred thousand viewers four H.. Brand new wrestling company meet with major starpower major money major production value behind it on an easily accessible network like T._N._t.. Is that a good number. I think it is and here's why Bali other than N._B._A.. Basketball Basketball could you name me anything. That's on T._N._T.. Yet but you put if you have T._N._T.. And if this is advertised the correct way before October second comes out. You're going to drive people to T._N._T.. So it's not about what's on T._N._T.. If there's nothing on T._N._T.. That I WANNA see then I'm not tuning into T._N._T.. But if I have this brand new wrestling company with Chris Jericho and and Moxley and the bucks and cody and Omega and this big production value and Yada Yada Yada why wouldn't I turn well but here's the thing you mentioned the raw reunion on Monday and we're expecting a big pop because they're having all these return superstars and it did for you know not as big as you thought it was going to be but it was a decent pop for Monday show when they're looking at e w they're looking at it completely different way. Here's a new company with a roster with names that a lot of people people are not going to be familiar about scenario looking at this as we're going to start off alot and it's going to build as time goes on. I don't think they're looking at this like the way we looked at raw reunion. Put It on Youtube. POP PEOPLE ARE GONNA be into it too probably thinking that hey maybe ill gain some curiosity that people tune into start but they're hoping in time that that number is GONNA get bigger. Do you think a e w will go fishing in the W._W._e.. Pool meaning do you think they will put ads for the first Wednesday night show on Monday night raw and smackdown if they were smart they would so when you take a look social media presence when you take a look at the fact that they advertised shows on T._N._T.. During Basketball Games I'm sure they're going to have a full media blitz leaving leading up to October second

"So that's so. But he hasn't gone down the road as far as you know. And some of that road was pretty rocky as, as John Mosley described you and Chris Jericho and. Frustrations with it, but he hasn't been to that point where he's done, what Moxley has done so in WWE. So it's a guy a guy with potential for more in WWE versus a guy who just got out of prison, and is the arguably the hottest guy hottest gone wrestling. So, yes, so I if I was going to be I mean, and also the chess game, hell yeah, I, I'd make that trade. If you're asking me, who would you invest in close your eyes, five years from now both of them are good investments? "Thousands of dollars or millions like wrestlers, who have enough socked away that they can, you know, they're not panicked about their financial state, if they got fired, and they have the leverage to protest the writers feel rather expendable interchangeable, and so that's a more difficult situation for them, and they cheer, I think a lot of them privately and in communicate with each other. And sometimes the wrestlers going, this is what Vince needs to here. We don't have we. Have the power to say. And you've certainly done enough interviews with former WWE create a team members here at the torch to know how that process works into no, the frustrations that come with it and to know that, you know, these guys they're not pitching necessarily, what you see is the end product on, Ron smackdown. They're pitching, some good ideas, and some of them have talked about him with you. And there's just that frustration. And I think you know, one of the. Disappointments. I know if disappointments the right word, but coming out of this podcast is some of the things you see on our our smackdown. You think well, you know, WWE is this machine? And they're pumping out all this product, maybe they're aware that this isn't the greatest stuff, but they're, they're content creators. They just need to push things out there, so they can get to the next big show. Whatever like that. The fact that Moxley portrays Vince as thinking the lions and the stuff that he's giving Moxley to do. And say is really as good as he thinks it is. Like that's kind of the scary part. We've all kind of felt that Vince is gotten out of touch, and Moxley gives that confirmation that, yes. All the stuff that, you know, the, the shots that, that dean Ambrose was getting on TV when he was talking complaining about the smell and wearing the gas mask that was all stuff that Vince not only liked but thought was. Great and would get great heat Ambrose. And it's like. That's that was one of those supporting things where you know, you were hoping that was just something that they just put on TV just to get to the next angle, or next storyline or whatever like that. But to know that Vince really loved that stuff. That's disheartening. Yes. Yes. Before we continue with Greg. I want to let you know that this weekend. We'll have a new interview here on the Wade, Keller pro wrestling podcast feed, but not going to tell you who yet other than you one hundred percent are gonna want to hear it.
