"morales" Discussed on The Jose Morales Podcast

"I'm your host Jose Morales. Tim Academy in the rink today is myself again by myself? I've been doing a lot of podcasts alone lately. But Not for the code and because of that, honestly, I'm kind of feeling myself as far as talking. But today is actually a very very. Special. Episode. Because It is my thirtieth birthday today nine, twenty, one, twenty, twenty, I, turn thirty years old. And as you know twenty twenty, we can't do shit and I was actually planning on doing something this year I actually wanted to probably throw a party or something you know my dirty thirty never celebrated my twenty first big. I never heard celebrating my eighteenth. In. A big way. So I know me I'm not big of partier much of a coin now person and I said you know what? Fuck it let's do something big for thirty. That's what I said last year and. Little. Did I know this whole which was in popoff? So? Those plans went out the window, and now you hear listen to me on my birthday instead. On this podcast and I'm GonNa talk about today is. Not only my birthday but I wanNA talk about my life from the day I was born to now. And I KINDA WANNA share with you guys in detail why I am the way I am how? I feel and the reason why talks damage and share so many videos on on instagram and why it's so important to me. I There's a lot of reasons for that. I have had a few people say. Comments and say things like, Oh, he does it is because of that. But the honest truth of why do this and why I feel like you're so important to me is because. I honestly love to share my story so that people that can relate to it and fill it or in the same shoes. Hopefully, I sparked that little flame they need or the extra push the extra motivation. But, that's why I like it. But the biggest one is. That's how we're GONNA make a change and for real that's how I feel like. That's really how we're GONNA make a change. Obviously there's all these pros to it. You know people were relate to me more people probably come to the gym and trained with me because of its people will support me whatever. Yes. That's true. That's a big plus of it. That does happen. But. That is not the reason why I am doing it like I'm not focused on. Okay. I need to make this video because. I'm. GonNa have a new customer I make this video. You know what? I mean. I'm doing it in the sincerely because from the bottom of my heart. Like this video like this podcast that I'm doing now. something. In me today can telling me I need to do it. I need to do it. I was actually going to take a break from the podcast this week for my birthday I just wanted to show my family. I wasn't GonNa Post Shit about it. And honestly I've been busy ship at the gym because as you know actually short a trainer right now. And I'll go into that later on far as far as that in my own my recap podcast. But I wasn't GonNa do any podcast this week and something in my heart told me to do this. So here it is. another reason for neither mentioned this. A reason why I'm so open. And I think one thing happened..

Final Fantasy 16 Revealed At PS5 Showcase Event

"They started off their event. Sony did. With a pretty big reveal and that is the next main line final fantasy game final fantasy sixteen, which looks like a return to sort of more medieval ask a look. Out of the car with the boys and we're into more of a Fantasy you know real fantasy setting. What did you think Tom of what they showed for final fantasy sixteen I'm I'm never been like a huge huge final fantasy nut. I'll say that much but I'm. Definitely. Intrigued by this like it. It looks cool and fifteen was a really fun cool game and the actually the most exciting thing to me like the trailer itself was. Cool. But didn't tell me a ton right because firefighters has been and can be so many different things that I didn't get a ton of vibes off of it more than like this is neat. Right The thing that excited me most about it was hearing after hearing afterwards at nayek Nokia Yoshida was GONNA be directing the game 'cause he's goes by colloquially named known as. and. He was the director and producer of fun finished fourteen and has done such an insanely good job with that game that hearing that he's being given the reins to the main series. Next main series game is. Really really exciting. So I think that there was a there's a lot of potential here and I'm very excited to see what they do with it but also this trailer didn't immediately make me run out and pre-order necessarily if that makes sense Christian, what did you think of it? Yeah. I like the direction they're saying it's going. I find interesting. It seems. To put this, not more combat focused because they've always been a lot of combat and final fantasy games, just kind of how that combat is delivered and I'm not sure. But I kind of got the feeling that. It's maybe embracing more of that final fantasy seven remake real time and I you know there have been so many final fantasies and so many sub fantasies of final fantasies that it's hard for me to keep track of them. It's like I know what original seven was. I. Know Tactics I kind of remember. A, and then I don't know anything else after that. But I'd like that they keep evolving with implying within. I. Think Though the people they have working on this thing. One I. Hope it hits a date. And too I think it looks really interesting. It's a big it. That was the other thing that was rumored I had an last week hill gets to see but an exclusive final fantasy the big that was a big stage moment for Microsoft when they were able to walk that out, say like coming to xbox final fantasies in in Sony's pulling it back seven, and then now this one is well I. Don't know final fantasy is has the brand cachet at once did but I still think it is a another Arrow in that quiver. You fifteen of course had. Real time action combat as well. and I think that that's just what squaring does now that they've. You know there is a way to kind of finesse turn bass fish in seven remained but not really. So I don't I just that's just what they do. Now, a much to my chagrin because I'm a fan of turn based off. But you know I miss I'm with you missed the turn based too. I think what they're doing with combat stuff especially, seven remake seven remakes combat I think is phenomenal but I just missed the classic a little bit too. Yeah. I do I do I mean I'm a big fan of based stuff Anyway so fun fantasy sixteen. I thought it was A. Pretty. Cool way to start the show.

Boston - Report Details ‘Heated Confrontation’ Between Marcus Smart And Jaylen Brown, Who ‘Needed To Be Separated’

"Air down to Oh, they have a huge game three tonight against the Heat. Their season rests on it because, of course, no MBA team has ever come back from a 30 Siri's deficit. And it's time to see you. The Celtics are. Of course you read the reports. The athletic had the story on Friday. Postgame blowup falling game to Marcus Smart, Jalen Brown having a heated confrontation inside of the locker room they needed to be separated by their teammates. They then talked it out with Jason Tatum and Kemba Walker and Bride Stevens's room around one in the morning agent which Morales give ESPN had that is well yesterday. So this is a turning point for the Celtics and Are they going to fall apart or just going to be a rallying cry for them? Because there is one thing that's for certain the Celtics are a team right now. That can't close their close, but they can't cause it struggled to close against the Toronto Raptors. And they've struggled mightily to close against the Miami heat in games one and two of the Eastern Conference finals. And that is the reason why they're currently down, and that extends To the sidelines next since the coach Brad Stevens. You talk about Mike Budenholzer and some mistakes he made with the Bucks. Brad Stevens, also struggling to close and adjust to Erik Spoelstra and the Heat. So is this a Celtic seemed, is falling apart. Or is this a turning points? Prince of Persia Remake Graphics Already Look Much Better in Updated Screenshot

"Of Persia is back. The sands of time is getting remade. Now, this is not just a re master with a resing. It's actual using the term remake and they showed off a new trailer. It's coming to PC playstation four and xbox one on January. Twenty. First Twenty twenty one. What did you think of the trailer Tricia I I should ask you, I guess, play the original game in and so did you like it? I never owned the original game. So I was around while other people were playing Rachel Cam. And I enjoyed watching the bits that I watched, but it doesn't have the same nostalgic residents with me that I feel like it does with other people. I kind of had a similar a similar reaction to think. What I was the majority in chat watching it live, which is you know these graphics look two generations ago in this supposed to come to next gen consoles what Gibbs but I'm curious to ask you guys if either of you did play the original to a great extent did the graphics feel reminiscent of the original and maybe that's why that artistic choice was made. Certainly. I mean it looks as so many of these remakes do except for the ones that are really go for it but so many of these games. It looks like I remember the game looking you know because. In my head, it looked like that and then you go back and you screen shots like Oh, God? No, it didn't look anything like that. They've done a lot of work on this but in your head you're like Oh. Yeah. That looks like. The time which is a game I absolutely loved at the time and I'm kind of excited a replay it. Christian. How about you are you disappointed by the look of this remake or did you did you play the game with? What's your feelings played? It loved it. All of them I play them on. Game. Cube Big Fan of that of that series even the dark middle chapter with bangs in his is I could I got behind it. You know we were both listening the Thursday at the same time you're. Screaming our way through time travel. I am not excited about this remake I I want a new Prince of Persia for whatever reason replaying this game doesn't seem exciting to me I. think some games like Halo where the combat is a little bit more of a sandbox are a little more enticing. To combat to have been I don't know evolved. More needs to be a mortal colon writing for me to get. Yeah I don't know. That's the thing. If maybe they gave it like that man combat combat in the originals was good but I think third person action combat is kind of moved past that. Now I'm not I'm not super excited about I want a one a new game in the franchise in this race gets us that is this would breathe this. This game is remake doing well, does that get us the new game? The Franchise? Is this a stopgap to the game in the franchise? That's two years out. It may very well be but I I hope I'm wrong than if that's the case but I don't think this game will do particularly well, because while I, do think it looks kind of like how I remember the original looking. You know this is going to be coming out a few months after the new consoles are out and we're seeing spider man miles morales, and we're seeing maybe ray tracing on ratchet and clank in we're seeing other. UBISOFT. Know involve Hala and some of these other games that they're doing and I don't think people are going to be super excited about this remake coming out in January, which is a little bit of a weird time. Ano- Capcom has had some success with that date before to. Remix with remakes but those were bigger like after seeing that style of remake if it's not Tony Hawk purse gator one to a resident evil two I have a hard time getting out of bed for it. You know like We've been spoiled by incredible incredible remakes lately, and from what I saw of this Prince of Persia Sands of time remake doesn't seem to be at that caliber in my opinion.

All the biggest announcements from Ubisoft's Forward event

"Forward was yesterday a bunch of stuff got announced. We want to give you a recap of it. immortals. Phoenix rising was revealed of course, gods and monsters re renamed redone. It's covering the December third I. It's coming to deep breath playstation for playstation five, xbox one series series s switch PC. An Stadia on December third stadium however is getting demo before launched that'll be exclusive. Stadia it'll be a unique island. It's coming sometime later this year before December third busing you liked what you play this game yeah. No I enjoyed it like I've said this before, but it's basically you be Saas version breath wild and I think that very much shows each and every way where you have so many of the mechanics and ideas from breath while the climbing and like the the they have a shrine Like replacement in in Gaza and immortals Phoenix rising, they have the open world that is filled with puzzles and all this stuff play lot somewhere at ease. But then also if you'll. If. You'll structured like a Yousof game and I was actually talking to my roommate Michael about this last night. But he was very much like seems like breath breathalyzer came out and it it copied a lot of what you saw is doing and we saw Admiral Hey we can be. Doing I feel like that's a pretty apt way to put it almost when you look at the towers and stuff breath wild. Stuff manifest this. Game though has me excited. For I'm. Coming to next Gen, I think is exciting. I N necessarily expected not to, but this plus came out in. February and so I think I had the question of all right what does this release look like and so that's an exciting thing I. wonder if it looks better, I wonder how I wonder what the differences between the two skews It also coming to switch is really exciting because I was thinking they revealed that surprise me you know especially with the breadth of wild similarities that coming to switch I think is going to be interesting for that audience to see how people will take to it whether people flocked to order people are put off to put off by it. I. My my thing in this isn't me knocking it right breath. The wild part of that game I thought was the journey across the island and making it feel like you're making big steps watching What we saw last night from Phoenix rising. It seemed like traversing the island in getting around seemed quicker. Is that an apt description or is that just what made to look like? I think that's apt but I also wonder how late in the game that is because when I jumped in halfway through I, wonder if we're at the beginning of the game, does heal a lot slower because that is my thing with breath to you a breath breath the wild. One. Of The wild one. Breath wild felt like one of the biggest open world games I played even though it probably like in scale of the map, it probably isn't as like it probably isn't that big you know in reality but the way in which they approach like that journey aspect of it makes it feel like it's huge near exploring all these different things in that like you know you really feel like you're going. Through journey because you're kind of exploring that world slowly and meticulously, and you know, they give you the the paraglider thing early in the game breath wild Ryan so like they give you some of those those those tools to explorer in like go through the island quicker. But even even with that Econo, still feel like you're tracking few and You know really getting everything out of the map. Immoral Phoenix rising when I was playing did feel a bit like quicker and did feel be onto the next thing right? You feel like you are going to the next class breath while didn't really have A. The has system, but it's not as traditional and strict as. A. Lot of other similar open World Games try immoral Phoenix rising does seem to have a quest system that is a bit stricter in terms of, hey, go do this thing called the next question? Do this thing called? The next. Which? I think a lot of people who may not have liked breath wild for that are going to like a moral phoenix rising for its structure. But I think that also means that you might be exploring this game at a particular pace is probably going to be a bit quicker. I don't think it is going to be the man. What is this? What we're here I'M GONNA I'M GONNA check this out like this who unique thing that you've never seen before that that that blows your mind I don't know how those moments you're gonna get but you are going to have like open world puzzles and things that are discoverable just maybe not on the level of breath. Wow. Okay I had zero hype for this game and then washing shows like Oh shit I'd like to play that and I think December's time for to after like the run to black Friday new consoles or out every starting to chill and settle for the holidays. This seems like a game I play in Madame. On top of that, then prison persia the sands of time remake was announced coming January twenty first. Every of the current generation no Nexgen for it your Yuri Lowenthal is back. That's right. Spiderman of self animal prints the original prints from Principia. Exciting for that. Looking forward to playing that I said, every said current is it switched to I don't think I actually did I miss that I'm not sure I. Can you thank you very much check on that hyperscale got a little shoutout it's still free. They showed some stuff I didn't pay attention Rainbow six siege world got something there. But I in the Rainbow six siege way you off on twitter pointed out Upgrade Rainbow six siege. To Jen Councils at no additional cost in play in one hundred and twenty frames per second at four K.. Then, Scott Pilgrim vs the world. The game complete edition was announced. That's coming holiday twenty twenty as well washed. Prime showing WHO's the rapper whose in it? And Watch. Storms he they showed him getting more captive for his rap session. They reiterated October twenty ninth as a release date in the announced that aiden pierce the of protagonist from the originals watchdogs will be part of the season pass. You can get there if you want there is. One Prince Persia knock coming to switch it was. The XBOX IN PS four xbox and PS four. Yeah and then to I would like to apologize to date appears fans I. During the Stream I very much. That hey, nobody's a fan of aiden pierce nobody cares about eating peers. there. Weren't even that many wash dogs. One fans etcetera etcetera. And, yeah, the in Pierce Fans showed up in my mentions let me know they. Let me know they exist inside out here out here issue I like to issue a public apology to every eight and peers fan i. see you I hear you I understand that you exist in frantic. Now, frame did not pop out. There is going to be another ubisoft forward in the coming months. But before then before the end there, one more thing was writers republic Again, from the people who made steep this giant multiplayer online game, you're all doing outdoor shit like riding bikes and snowboarding and jumping off crap and doing races is coming February twenty fifth twenty, twenty one and gamespot reports even though that's after the launch of the. Series x? US. Offering free upgrades from PS four and xbox one versions to their respective next Gen versions, which is a very nice move on their part. Hopefully, they're committed to this. Yeah. Talk about this because you tim immediately lit up for this one and I mean, we started reading twitter. Yeah. I don't know exactly what it is about this game I don't know if there's one thing about this game rows like this me this is what I need but like the more and more they show during that trailer because it was it was a long trailer, the more and Morales like. No. Yeah. This seems like it has a fun like it seems like a fun combination of quite a few ubisoft games. Right has a lot of steep in. It seems like it has some trials in it even seems like it has some far cry in it. When you look at the world and you look at the some of the colors you see an almost has like some rage in it all. You know when you look at when you look at the colors i. I want to know more about what structure of the game is like. Is it battery Al is a like fog is, is it just you're doing a bunch of different activities that that scale based on how many players? There are ten players to thirty whatever I'm more curious about that. But from the stuff they show they show a game that was very similar to graffiti from Tony Hawk. Where graffiti is the game where like it's a multiplayer game where if you do a trick on a ramp or like on a grind or whatever yellow then color that the ramp or or the grind your color, and you are essentially doing as matrix all over the map as you can in order to take over the map versus your opponent almost kind of platoon ish in a way. They showed a game battle is very much that we've made me go. Oh, snap. All right. This seems like it has a lot in in terms of the different, the different ways in which you can have fun. So all about it looks cool. It looks like it's going to grow over time I'm surprised it's coming out so soon.

Miami - Florida Man Seen On Video Clinging To Hood Of Moving Big Rig On Turnpike

"Took a man into custody on the. Florida turnpike near Boynton beach. After he was captured on cell phone video hanging onto the hood of a Semi Truck Erik Morales said he and his girlfriend were heading north on the highway on Saturday when he witnessed the dangerous and surreal site near the Turnpike milepost eighty six, he said I see a semi tractor trailer swerving from the middle of the right lane to the left lane to the right in and out just driving crazy up on two wheels at once at one point. Look at this guy here he is there swerving. Just. Barely hanging out he smashed the windshield of this truck here that pull up next to him. The guys hanging on the hood just looking over as they drive by hey. How you doing creaming something at the people and he slamming on his brakes, he's doing everything to try to knock him off. Your guest does I think maybe he just doesn't want him to end up coming into the truck somehow and they went nine miles like this. It's like Terminator two in you know where he's like trying to kill the liquid bad guy starting. Off for a second there, you can see inside the truck. The guy is turning the wheel. Like you did when you were a kid and you sat behind him. He's going big little laugh. Big to the right trying to shake this guy off the hood according to Florida Highway Patrol. They received a call about the wild ride on Saturday about one PM and They said, they just didn't know what was going on investigators say the man seen the hood of the trump truck had gotten out of vehicle on the southbound lanes and walked onto the highway and jumped onto the front of the truck. I guess he was arrested at some point just incredible to see.

I started interior design when we were dating. My husband's a builder, so he would build homes. I didn't really get involved. Though as his own thing, it was nice. I didn't really care. I liked looking at homes, but I just didn't know a lot about it. You know so. He's like. Go put candles in the bathroom or or is in the kitchen I'm like okay. Whatever so I put candles in the bathrooms and Mike well. Let me add this thing. Let me add this thing then. He's a GOPRO furniture in it and I honestly I did not know what I was doing. The first couple homes that I did are so embarrassing would probably never post them, but you learn yeah. I learned a lot of there was no instagram. There is no year. Was this during what time? I don't Kn nine years ago years ago. Yeah, okay, so this like two thousand ten. Yeah, they had no pinterest. Though it was hard to I just looked magazines, but I learned I taught myself. I figured out how to like structured things how to make rooms. Look better, so did prior to this. You had no interest in that at all..

Thank you, of course, man, thank you for sharing your platform with me. Means a lot now found by I wanted to ask you. This actually was on my mind. What exactly does mammoth mean, or where did that? Come from your knee? Your nickname argue the short version Version. It basically stands from an logo I had and I changed the name, but I wanted to keep the logo, and ahead of him in there, and so I was brainstorming one day I, came up with the name obscene mammoth, and so the meaning of it was I wanted to think of something that was offensive yet at the same time, extremely large and influential was whether. Whether it was where mammoth comes from and to me, that represents you know like just like the hip hop community, and that's my biggest influence because hip hop, everything from graffiti to wrapping it all started from usually something now was either deemed kind of a nuisance illegal. You know what I mean, but at the same time it's one of the biggest influences in the world. So so back back in the day. You were a little Miss Poplar and You had to move. Yeah I did. Crazy, so, yeah, so that's the name came from. Yeah, now drop the obscene. Just because it was, it was too long, and then people had a hard time understanding what I was saying it, and so and then, and then I just people just are calling me mammoth saws I. What else what people call me anyway so as well just you know so I'll just drop the obscene knowledgeable by mammoth. That's cool I Shout out to Brian to by the way Brian you're just honest. Party is recently on the on..

"The PC game conference which. I don't even know how we cover it. There's so many things in the PC game covers A. Christine that you want to Br I think the biggest one may be potentially biggest. One is persona five excuse me persona, four golden coming to PC. Yes, so that was looking at this list and I'm like honestly that's the only thing we're talking about is. Four goal, 'cause I mean I still love that game I think persona four is one of the strongest personas that there is and I- platinum to that game when it was on the Vita so I mean I won't play it again. Because I played three hundred hours of that game I think I'm good, but I'm really excited for people who may be you know. For, the people who didn't have Evita be able to experience this game because I think it's brilliant. Cristiano YOU'RE A big Fan of this game as well. You played it on Vita too right. Yeah. It's I'm glad it's out for a wider audience. But. I am in no way interested in replaying it. Exhibits.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales PS5 Trailer

"Sony had a big event. Abra field the play station five. PS five is out and a couple of games That are going to be a launch before we get into what it looks like because it's kind of a neat design, looks kind of like a sculpture. One of their launch games will be. This is either a sequel or spinoff of the twenty eight. INSOMNIAC AWESOME SPIDERMAN PS four game. It's called Spider Man Miles Morales gig wounded Holy Shit. It's coming to the playstation five this holiday twenty twenty. In they had a trailer in fucking looks amazing. This. Here's some spoiler. The about the first game, which is two years old in that game, you do get to play miles a little bit here and there he's in there. He also gets his powers during the game. And there's little clips of Peter Training him so by the end of the game. His story is that he's got powers at so this looks amazing. What this trailer Anthony! I thought it was awesome. I mean I haven't owned. A system since playstation three three. Yeah, I don't know if I had. Maybe two! I don't know if I even had. Not GonNa. Look what a playstation three looks like. Forget what the three looked like. It was black with a right with the playstation three three thousand popular yeah. So, but I haven't own I'm not a big Gamer, not because I don't think I would like I, think I get to win to it. But this trailer was freaking amazing the way they cut it with a music. I don't know there was a good fun i. mean the Mo the first off. It looks great at. The move the the music. The R&B or Hip hop that the playing with it. I don't know they have. They do a really good job of fitting it with miles, rallies and just. was pumped watching the miles model like the way he looked is great, and it looks a lot like the Spiderman game, so I was like Holy Shit. This is great except I. You have playstation four against patron saint of awesome. So you know what I can wait wait. The PS five is backwards compatible that but I also wonder will there be a sequel to the other Spiderman, game is the sequel I still want another one with Peter and like venom. Because they didn't introduce the kind of hinted at it at the end, we'll have to have rugs on and to really like dive into what is cool about the playstation five well. Let's click that link. Take a look at. It looks like isn't so. It's white and black stormtroopers. Like start. Vertical it's it's two toned. It's got these. It looks like retro futuristic like what the future looks like in the sixties. Design but it's pretty sick. It's like it's not flat. It's very organic. Will have a version with a BLU ray, drive and one. That's just digital. So I guess it might be cheaper. They did not release any prices. What's the difference what I'll digital without a disk drive? So you download and install your games off like the playstation store? And of course, the dual sends controller is enhanced wireless headphones in a remote in HD camera, but I like the way this looks it's. Dated, not the only thing they said was when it's coming out now if they're saying, this game comes out holiday twenty twenty, I would imagine. There's probably coming up for Christmas. If they're ready, showed this now. This is going to be like Christmas launch. I mean I have to say the trailer for the Spiderman. Just going back to that was. Really

"To you like there's no way. I could have stopped our control that but you can't control how you respond and react and you have choices and that's really what it comes down to in life you know. Are you going to sit Kurna Ball and let this affect you the rest of your life or you going you know who slowly rise up and power through and get you know and be stronger and face your new normal pam curb all right now? I mean to be honest I always say like I'm onion. I got layers. She has deep man. I I mean in the way it really did. You could tell that was your why because Put everything together. Who missy is today absolutely? I wouldn't be doing either of those things if that didn't happen and you know. I recently to I recently found God like that's new in my life and that's not something that that's been a process to and it's. I'm not saying that everything happens for a reason because I don't think there's any reason my father should have been murdered but I do think that things align and even though God can't control because I questioned for so long like did why would God let you know I was so angry. Why if there's a God why would God let this happen to my dad? Like there's no reason behind that and you know. I realized now that God didn't let that happen. There are certain things that you know. He can't control evil like that. And that is pure evil to take someone's life you know but all the things that have happened after that wouldn't of wouldn't be occurring. I wouldn't be where I am today. When be sitting here talking to you? If you know. None of that happened like to be honest. I was being young dumb kid when that happened in the my life totally flipped and of course. I think it went. I went to like my all time low at a certain point and then you know I pulled myself back up and that's always a choice you know. Wow insane crazy. I'm Uqaab me man. I'm it's crazy to me because I've never liked publicly talked about it. You know like I actually go to support group. I go to like a homicide support group and that's new actually started going to that last year when I Knew that his court process was GONNA be coming back up because my way of dealing with my dad's death to be real was not dealing with it..

Tomorrow's Birthday Happy Burn Candy Birthdays Tomorrow. You're very young. I don't feel very young young young. You say your age girls don't like saying it but you to say you can say you're young. Yeah you're doing you you have a good career. You're doing with the personal training. Your look amazing your training. Well I mean you're a good person all around thank you. You're on your shit. How did you get that? And then you're going so much more places. How tell me what is your? What was your fuel in your tank to get you going every day. What was it what you know. Honestly I've always been extremely driven. I've always been super independent and I've always kind of been a big goal setter I never do for anybody else but myself. And maybe that's a little bit selfish five. Learned to kind of like really take care of myself you know and have my own back in not like rely on anybody. But I don't know I think honestly I really think a lot of had to do with my dad dying so like my dad. He died anyways so I was. I moved out young. I moved out. I think it was eighteen. Nineteen a my parents were divorced and they'd been divorced since I was like you know two or three years old so that was cool always to go back and forth mom and dad's house and my mom remarried when I was like eight. "If you don't believe you can beat the person in front of you. You'RE NOT GONNA FIGHT THAT WAY. And that's what you did. You make yourself believe that you were. GonNa do amazing that he was GonNa take on this tour and you perform that way. Yeah and obviously he didn't take me on a on tour but I still had this confidence in yourself my vision yes of where I wanted to go and who I wanted to become. I knew I wasn't that yet but I had to start thinking like what I wanted to become. And what followed after that? Did you get more shows? Yeah I just kept plugging away. I would just call People that are new that put on events eventually called Empire nightclub actually before they even opened up. A friend of mine knew that they were under Construction Sill. And he's like hey go talk to this. Guy Bob Simpson. He's the owner. He may be there. Just maybe you should go ask him to perform there so I went there try. Excuse me can't talk to Bob. Simpson like yeah. He's the guy over. There was a hard hat. Some hate Bali introduce myself and I want to perform here Every Friday night we opened up. And he's like and you want to pay you to do this. Yup and he's like well is how you're crazy enough to ask. So why don't you bring? I don't know a proposal so like cool. I don't know what that is figured out and I went home. Type it up. Print it out brought to bob the like maybe two days later. And Bob's like this kid. Is He really thought? I was crazy but he gave me the job to perform every Friday night at Empire nightclub for for the summer so it was like a six month spring to fall and I got I really learned my their sense of like I was thrown into the ring. You know it's like learn how to fight learn how to paint learn how to adjust You know thinking about portrait's that were relevant to the audience and just learning the art of performing during that time and then locally people that went to those events locally said Hey You know keep for my company event or can you perform for my kids school and I was like yes in a lot. Lot of things came from. Yeah from that door that you open for yourself. I mean I kicked the down. I definitely take the down and I appreciate though on forever appreciate Bob Simpson for really giving me the chance. Because it could have been terrible. He didn't he didn't know that. You just like yeah. I'll give it a shot so I appreciate that and a lot of people along the way. But that's something you you definitely like. You said you take the door and you made it happen. And even if he would've said no you probably would have fossil the no. Yeah I was showed up mentality. I probably honestly I probably would just kept showing up until he's told me to go away. "You got that down when I got to be a leader and that's what it takes. You got to be a leader when you run a gym your Lebeau ro any business your leader with so. That's why I'm working with him on but that's definitely my plan with everybody. I tell all the trainers that have come across. If you're still with me and ten years teaching sounds wrong broke. Yeah yeah sounds wrong with that. You shouldn't be here. You should have your own shape. Gotcha last question. What's up noted you a family man. You got a beautiful wife and you got to kids. How does the Jose Morales Boxing? Academy help you improve your family but hoddle is your Fam- help you improve. Jose Morales Boxing Kademi. You have to have a good balance So it is it's I think A lot of people have a hard time balancing that out. Like if you go all in on Your Business and you. Kinda don't spend time with your family. That's where that especially with the Finn asked like I'm here with females females. Yeah Mario Average shoe though is to my wife be like Yo a what the fuck you know what I'm saying so you you have to bring him along you know they got us. See that you're actually grinding. You know what I mean. They gotta be living in what you saw up. Bring him to like at the beginning of you don't believe I'm grinding at the gym from five. Am I'm here? Come up here with me. See what I'm doing so you could see. I did that a couple of times. And then she got to the point like okay but I believe you and once they see that you get the trust they know what you're doing. I mean you gotTa really do that. And then at the same time you got to spend time with your kids near spend time with your wife and not all business. You know what I'm saying so I've always been in their life where I've always. I will my kids and my ex wife like. I've always traveled a lot of always been busy so not but I never owned my odd. Never owned my own shit like always invested in investment partners. So now finding that what Mylan Academy now. I gotta find time to do things. I gotta be locked in but also have a balanced with my kids family but also make sure that I pay attention to them all the hell out of everything. I set up dates. Particular for like Friday is from my wife on Sunday. We flipped with my kids. I on Sunday. I'll be with my oldest. She blew my youngest and we'll go on dates with them. Okay just create that one on without you know what I'm saying..

"Through the NBA. He kind of wants to market through all sports and give people because the facebook is raping you. You youtubers raping you. Instagram was raping you. Why not benefit from all your livestream events and you prophet and alleviate the middleman yeah so I got approached with that so when you talk about building your own brand brand like how do you get people to like say. How do you get like say David Gaza? How do you get people to believe in yourself and say you know what David? I think. It's your time to go out and do your own thing like how would you give him actually having a conversation with him direction to go because Davis super dopamine super talented like for me? I love building guys up and I love seeing people be successful though. So how do you take David and say you know David? I think it's time for you. Do Your Shit. I actually had that conversation with a lot of times by the way I think it starts to doing as good question by the way you start to do. That is with building their confidence. Get into believe in the system and believe everything. A lot of trainers that are just teaching. Don't jump the ship to having their own gym running their own thing. 'cause they don't have the confidence behind the front side of it. You know the marketing the lease all that they don't have that so you have to kind of baby them into that. Look get him. See how you're gonNA run that the system getting a believer? How they're going to do it once again. More and more familiar with all that didn't like okay. It's not that bad. You know what I mean. That's how you slowly Kinda push him into the pool. So how did you get there? How did how did you get to? I know you took the leap. But how like is there a person or individual? Yeah coming to faith moment. Who was that personal individual that coming to moment Major realize that it was time for me to jump into Jose Morales boxing. The cabinet me is My back my background before me. Teaching me I I was in automotive business. I I was able to manage a service department cars and all that and I was able to make I had employees had big had a big team like forty forty people. I was overlooking. You know and cars and everything so me being twenty one twenty two. Doing that gave me the confidence. Like Oh Shit. I can run a business in cars. How the Fuck inaug-inauguration do it with something I know like you said I invested in myself if I was able to do it with something. I did not like something I did not love. There's no way in Hell I can. I'm not GonNa make it happen with something I do love. You know what I'm saying and that's kind of where I got the confidence behind it. That's where I got my feet. Wet like okay. They should. They should something. I see doable. Something I can do so then when I got to boxing already have that confidence I already dealt with payroll. I had already dealt with taxes. Already dealt with all that I was ready to do it and I mean and that's where I have to get David to see I have to get all my trainers see but those are the steps were taken because I he's gotta get familiar with how to teach trainers 'cause you you're not gonna be able to be a have your own Jim if you can't teach somebody to run your program who run this and that's why I'm working on with him right now as you know you got to be a leader now not just not just teaching class..

"I think that's the biggest thing I think the biggest thing we've been small businesses and believing in yourself and gambling yourself. You got to be willing to take that leap of faith hail yet. You understand that that's going to be some bumps along that row and that drive but I think if you believe in yourself guess what once you find the right people that can carry out your game plan and follow your dream. I think you got a great thing going. I think you've got a good thing going here. I love coming here. nothing but great things From you and When I walk in here Kelly running running day to day and and allowing it to grow with David and great trainers guys that really understand the game and the one thing I really love about it. Is you got guys really boxes. That's trainers now. You allow them to grow and build. Abraham believe themselves. That's what I really love that. Yeah thank you man. I in this similar. How you said Rick Ataman had that conversation which you guys and was like Yo as a team and that is the same thing that I do. I have my team Bro. This is this is the vision. That's what we need to do. And let's all put the puzzle together and I think that's what you gotta do with any business you know. Everyone has to believe in the vision. That's for the business and then at the same time they gotta have their vision. What they're working towards for themselves. You know saying last thing. What made you start this podcast. Oh Shit I honestly did not want to do it as long as time. I don't want to do a lot of people told me I didn't WanNa do it. The one that made me do it. I went to Saint Louis with a whole bunch new entrepreneurs worldwide in. This dude comes up to me. His name is rob comes up to me and he's like well you need to start your podcast. And he tells me the reason why as all and this made me change and you have a platform already you have so many people around you you can talk to that you can promote and How bad would it be that you get to? Promote people out of your. Jim talked to about their businesses. Talk about their life and get to get people familiar with people in your Jim You know what I'm saying and then on top of that you could get. You could talk to so much easier like for example this added in no you and you didn't come here if I told you sent you a message on Instagram Ayla. I want I really look up to you. Want to meet up with you. I WanNa talk to you more. You're most likely going. Connect with me versus me telling you. Hey My name's Jose. Morales this podcast. I'm a big Fan of.

"And your decision making in your sacrifice has to outweigh any other thing when I mean sacrifice. I most people don't know what sacrifice me when it comes to become an NBA player especially a young NBA player like a high school. Most of my friends wanted to drink smoke weed and party and in college. You WanNA drink smoke. We can go to all the party. I that those sacrifices that you have to make to become an NBA player. Like I didn't drink smoke until I got done playing professional basketball and so that sacrifice for me was. I knew what I wanted I would say. Don't get caught up into all the hype. Don't get caught up into the HOOPLA. Be Your own man. Be Your own. Be Your own woman in walking only and don't be a follower. That's a good advice. Because there is a lot of followers people try to do some consoles and not because in the heart Anything you WANNA add on to the podcast for anything on AD. Nah Man. I'm a good time. I appreciate you for having me. Oh man it was great conversations man breakup now you what made you want to start this? Jose Morales Boston. Kademi and change from prime time. We'll made me. Yeah Oh shit man a lot of things but the biggest one I wanted to make me you know what I mean a prime time with me. I mean I wanNA make me. I wanted to the biggest thing is to the warrior program. That's me that's something I created something like you said. I wanted to change people's lives outside of boxing and I wanted to make him a better version so they did on thing outside of boxing in Buckner. Their world champions. I'll be like you know that was me and I felt like I couldn't do that under the primetime umbrella. So that's what made me do it and I think ever since I did is probably the best decision I made man What do you think the biggest? What was the biggest jump from you? Leaving Primetime to Jose a gambling on yourself so like you got other small businesses that want to take jump. They scared what would you tell them? I would tell them fucking overthinking. I didn't overthinking I. I knew what I wanted to do. I left the prime time because I wanted to see if I could do it under prime time but I felt like had been established for so long already had an identity. You know what I'm saying. I can't change that identity and with me soon as I came in. I I made it me. I didn't think about it twice but I said I'm GonNa do it on did it. And I think that's what people struggle on people start to think and think like how you did it when you were going to retire. You're like fuck I'm done. You didn't overthink Shit. You said I'm done and that's what I did. I said I'm done. I'm going to change it. I'm GonNa make me so that's what I would tell. People think whatever decision you're making if it's in your heart it's in your heart you know when there's there's a difference when you fill it in your heart when issues like. I want to go to Hawaii when Bush H is that you want to do versus when it's in your heart like Damn. I really do want to move to Hawaii. I'm saying there's a different type of you feel it when it's coming from your heart so coming from your heart. Manson's jump on it and do it. And that's that's exactly what I did and I and I man I gambled on myself and I will do it again. I had to just kind of like you're gambling on Bobby Jackson Academy..

He was coming off the bench doing big things. He Got Sixth Man of the Year award in two thousand and two. When was wasn't when you got the word Niles three three thousand three Bobby and I actually been knowing. Each other became friends first time. He walked in here in the gym of two thousand nine. So it's been eleven years. I got through playing ball. Yeah the out a way to keep the weight down. I still haven't figured out a way to keep this way. Where where'd you tell me? He said on I just WANNA see my tote tolls and we're good So bobby and I have a big long history from eleven years. What made you actually start? Boxing I mean why. Why boxing out of everything you could. Why did you want to do box? I was always intrigued with it growing up as a kid fighting in the streets but then when I stopped playing had to figure out a way to he'll get back into shape because at one point when I got do plan like two or three years at the to do plan man. I just ballooned. I got really really big in so boxing was something that I kinda win. People always told me it is not hard on your body is total body workout. And I think that's the one thing that I love about it in. I'm not a big weight person. I don't like lifting weights and so alike the total body composition that comes with it Whether the shoulders where there's the the Burger squad and the push ups I just don't like wasting so..
