"You know, I'm in Philadelphia right now and I was thinking maybe it wasn't the time for them to sign Johnny gaudreau. You know, like they're in a total reimagining of what their team is. Maybe as good a player as good girl is. It wasn't the right time. Right. And so each team has to make that make that determination. And the kings were patient, and they collected picks and collected young players and they really look like a team that's going to be a problem this year. All right, there he is, Chris I have a joining us for a quick segment here on The Rain drags hockey podcast recording on this Thursday. We'll get to our NFL pick of the week, your momentarily abs, but revisit the line on the Maple Leafs in Montreal for the Montreal Canadiens home opener. I mean, it would make sense that you'd put money on the Maple Leafs because they'd be heavily favored against a kid laden Montreal Canadiens team, but there is something special about opening night, the opener of the season in Montreal and the ceremony that goes along with it. And if your bet in Montreal, you're probably happy after that game. Man, they were anywhere from plus two ten, the plus two 30 during the evening. And honestly, I thought the player was to take them on the puck line, which is the spread for hockey plus one and a half. And that was about minus one ten. Even odds on both sides. I thought that was the plague for Montreal. Listen, there was a lot of teams have heavy favorites last night. You know, Colorado is minus four 20. Ironically. Then you had Carolina massive favorites now. They ended up winning, but early in this season, opening night, too many things can happen. Especially the difference between Carolina and Colorado versus Toronto is the Toronto with the roti. And listen, I don't know why Toronto fans keep doing this to themselves. I knew. I didn't care how big of a favorite the leafs were last night. I knew it would be close. Sure, they probably could have nearly did win. But the money had to be on the side of Montreal. Amazing. Opening season, I'm always nervous about the home team because I think and remember back to how much you want to win. It seems more so at home. There's a ceremony that matters a lot or matters very little. It does, but it matters. And you're jittery and nurse. I mean, look at the oilers. They gave away Tupac's in the first three minutes or down two zero.

"Still in the headlines here, I need your opinion on your slough. Drop it of course. Yeah, first overall by the Montreal Canadiens. And Ken Hughes will talk about him, I'm sure. We know he's huge. We can see the Ross kill. We can see the developing power in his game. We believe that he's going to be a good NHL player. If not a star NHL player, time will tell that. But he's been okay at best in the two precinct season games that he's played. And I word it that way because that's the reality, but he's a kid. He's a kid. Should the pressure be higher on the first pick overall where a top ten NHL draft pick in his first NHL training camp to stick in the NHL more so than any other player or if your can use if your market San Luis and the Montreal Canadiens are going, man, I can see he's not ready. He needs some time in laval or wherever. For me, no pressure at all. Look what buffalo did with Owen power last year. Yeah. Owen felt Owen himself felt he wasn't ready to come out and play. So we played at the University of Michigan signed at the end of the year and got a year of development, you know, got to play large minutes. You've got to be careful with the player like slavkovsky. Like any young player is that they don't get enough ice time to develop. You can say you're going to develop them in practice, but eventually the message gets into these kids heads, the same for everybody. Yeah, great practice. Now go watch the game. You want to play. And you need to play. You can only grow so much at practice. Don't forget, so would your eyes love koski have played 20 games in his life on small ice? No. Of course. Of course there's going to be a slog early on for him. The real decision becomes, okay, if he's not here, where is he? Where's the best place for him? Where can we keep an eye on him that we're comfortable with his development and once you send him down though he's gone? You can only bring him up in an emergency spot. So that all plays into the into the situation for the Canadians. And so love kasky. Yeah, and there's no rush here, right? You play them out to the string of 9 games ten games. Give them a good luck.

"Smart she is, all of those things. Just an obvious fit, would you say with a Montreal Canadiens to bring Marie Philippe into the development side while she's still playing? I was at a zero on the surprise meter when I'm like, it makes so much sense and so many different ways. I'm going to say when she retires, she will be considered the greatest female player ever. She's amazing in the way that she plays her drive, her talent. It's so obvious. I also think within very short order drakes, when a woman is named to a position in management or soon to be in coaching, it's just going to be a name. Yeah. And that's the way it should be. Like, congratulations to Marie Philippe. It's well deserved, start on her path to wherever that's going to take her, whether it's coaching or management and some prominent place in the game. But I'm happy that cammie got hired in Vancouver and yeah, it was a story, but it's becoming less of one by the day. I agree. I'm really happy about that. Because this is, this is a pool of talent of management of coaching of thinking of communicating that is never been tapped into before. And it is it the right time, all the right time was before. But since it's now, it is the right time. And good on the Canadians and good for her, apparently she's going to play a bit longer. And, you know, and we're lucky to watch her play and then she'll dive in full time, but yeah, good for her and it's just the right thing. Those are the headlines presented by our friends at Boston pizza. Our interviews on ray and Riggs are brought to you by our good pals at Canadian club whisky who are asking, are you over beer? Why not try refreshing CC? Ginger ale next time you're having a drink or maybe watching the game, there's still lots to watch. And ray, how about this? The CC and Ginger ale mixed and ready in a can. It's available pretty much across Canada. We know summer is here and it takes all of the challenges out of making that CC and Ginger out on your own, doesn't it? You just pop the cap and you're good to go. Drake's just a little early here. As we tape, it's ten O 7 in the morning, but if I had 5 o'clock somewhere, the way I feel right now, I think a little wouldn't be out of the order. Enjoy it responsibly ray. Always. "Episode baby. This is not your typical four show. It's real, it's wrong. There's a positive cost. You are now rocking with the ball phase. So I get it. I have friends that actually model a lot and some of them are engaged, and they have to do photo shoots with either themselves in a wedding dress or they have to do it with kind of like a fill in fake fake room. And it's like, yeah, exactly. And it's not like you're cheating or doing anything bad, like you're literally just working and doing your work, but it's cool because as you mentioned, it's kind of like you're getting to be a bride again while also showcasing a designer's beautiful piece of work. Yeah, and this is runway. So this is totally like this is just my favorite thing. So now that we're on the topic of getting married in a wedding dresses, good segue. It's a good little segue. I feel like you're just helping me segue right into this test. So this sore ray is actually married to former NHL player Sheldon soy. Canadian ice hockey player, he was a defenseman, 13 seasons in the NHL, played for the Anaheim ducks, New Jersey doubles, the Dallas stars, Montreal Canadiens, and the Edmonton Oilers. So he's actually known for his hard slap shot from what I understand, which is pretty neat. And how did you guys both meet? I understand it's kind of an interesting story and it kind of goes along with your sobriety as well. So before we even talk about your husband, maybe give us some backstory on your sobriety and how much you want to share with the boss boobs fanatics and then kind of get right into how you guys freaking met. Sure. So my sobriety date is October 13th, 2017, but long before that I knew that I was totally unhappy with who I was and I looked in the mirror. There's probably a period of three years that was really, really difficult for me and the only way I knew how was to kind of drink to escape and feel that because he didn't want to feel the pain. That's a very common mode of anyone who's trying to get sober or struggling with. Alcoholism or addiction. And so I had heard from a few people like you should go to treatment, XYZ, and I wasn't in that space yet. And I've heard that for probably about a year and a half from different people. But I was close with at the time. And then basically until it gets bad enough and you yourself want to go and get help. You don't want to hear anything. And so it definitely got bad enough for me and that was January 2017, and I just didn't, I couldn't feel like being that sad anymore. And it wasn't that I didn't want to, like I didn't, I couldn't do anything about it. I would never actually try to hurt or cause pain. Upon myself, but I knew that if this is the way that life was worth living, but I didn't want, you know, I didn't want to go about it because I felt like there was no point. There was no purpose. I was so depressed. So I had so much anxiety and I just, I couldn't do it..

"So to summarize the leaders we need to be now have to connect workers purpose, provide them with flexibility, look after their well-being. This is a different profile from the stereotypical leader traditionally whose hard charging and singularly focused on performance, but there are we are seeing changes already executive recruiters are actually starting to change C suite job descriptions and research centers have been studying this to focus on interpersonal skills of the sort that are necessary for the leadership we need in this moment. So where does this leave the performance of the enterprise if you're addressing all these expectations of workers? My former Wall Street Journal colleague Sam walker looked at this question of sustained performance in the context of professional sports. And what he did is he looked over the history of sports at sports dynasty. So these were teams that won year after year after year. And during those periods, what was exceptional about them that allowed them to do this. This was sports teams like the Montreal Canadiens, hockey team in the 1950s, Boston Celtics, the 1950s, and 60s, FC Barcelona, from 2008 to 2012, when they won or drew 92% of their matches. They won two Champions League titles. The single common factor that Sam found among all of these sports dynasties was that they had exceptional team captains. Not coaches or managers, the people who are in charge until you get on the field. But the captains who are out there on the field showing leadership with them during the course of play dishing out direction and feedback in the moment more often than not, they actually lead from behind their sending out the ball or the puck and not focused on delivering a solo virtuoso performance. People like Carlos pujol of Barcelona, who's a defender. Interestingly, excellent team captains also are people who don't shy away from conflict and they don't prioritize being liked by other people. So today's organizations, if they're serious about cysteine performance, require team.

"Spends extra two months down in Providence, getting steady number one reps, and he's good to go next year. Sound like a pretty good idea. Pretty good plan. So as complicated as child as people make out the goalie situation as are the bruins walking that kind of tightrope, they make this move ten times out of ten again. If what the risk was, which wasn't a whole lot. Especially if it's going to be healthy and at that cost. I mean, again, if it was something like 3 million or three and a half or four, then that you can get into that. You knew this could have happened. But it's for league. What's the loss in this? I mean, you know, again, I don't see the horribleness of this. It's fine. As you said, low risk, high reward, and it was tiny risk, and it didn't work out. So be it. Speaking of things, it didn't work out. The Montreal Canadiens have reportedly just fired head coach Dominique ducharme. There goes that. That season continues to get better and better for them. That's terrific. Speaking of news that we're waiting on. And this will probably be like I think this podcast will be out and they will have already announced the suspension. They have not announced it yet. But Brad Marshall was offered in person hearing, which is like bad. Right? I mean, that's like, I guess. That's like if you are, if you get in trouble at school as a kid, and you have to either go to the principal's office or you get meet with a superintendent and your parents. That's okay. When the parents get called, then you are. Yeah. You are a real situation. So as people don't know, Martian punched jarry in the face, and then the ref was holding them back and he stuck his stick right in his chest. Right at the end of the game, where is the income? Garbage time, garbage happens. Damn it. Happen again. Whoops. Anyways, it feels like this is going to be over 5 games, right? I think so. I mean, it's not a guarantee that you're going to get 5 plus games of an in person hearing. But put two and two together, right? I mean, it's just a situation where the brooms are already. We're going to get into what another guy who's going to probably be over the next little while for the bruins, which at that point, Marshall was fully cognizant of the fact that Patrice bergeron exited that game, you need him out there. He's the next man up as your leader..

"That is. Yeah, they will. Just for me, that day is gonna be absolutely bananas. But speaking of guys getting traded away, I'm getting a report right now that Patrice bergeron could be headed to the Montreal Canadiens because the GM is Kent Hughes. His agent. Oh my God, but first you're on and blue blanket rouge. I mean, this is, this is incredible. Now, for people who are like stunned listening to this, that is not true. Kent Hughes. Is he still bergeron? Not anymore. Not anymore. Not now. But you've been a conflict of interest. No, no conflict of interest at all. You can still be an agent at the GM of hockey team. What's wrong with that? But can't Hughes. It was Patrice bergeron's longtime agent. He is now the GM of the Montreal Canadians. So obviously everyone goes purse runs heading to the arch rival. And the answer is 99.9%, no he's not. Yeah, no. I mean, we could go down a whole list of reasons why one, which like the narrative, like, oh my God, Patrice bergeron is from Quebec. So he must want to go home at 1.1. He grew up in Quebec City, not Montreal. He grew up hating the Montreal Canadiens. So much so that he literally became an abs fan for a while after they moved, like he's on a habs train, did not grow up a habs fan. You know, like that, I don't mean that narrative was weak anyway, to even if it was for like a year to go home to Montreal where he's not from, or his family is not from. I don't know what the appeal would be, even if the bruins hit a rebuild that bergeron would like to go to a team in Montreal. That seems like a complete mess. That seems like they're many years away from actually fielding a legit team again, right? Like don't let that cup run with Carrie price going off and Shay Weber and those guys distract from the fact that this team has an ugly rebuild ahead of them. So I don't know why version would go there. And of course, it's one thing if it's like a long time coach or someone else like that, maybe that's the appeal. You see that in football or something where a guy wants to go play for an old coach or when has the agent been like the thing that is like swaying a guy's opinion to like pack up, not even like a dude who's here for like three or four years and wants to go somewhere else. Patrice bergeron, who's going to have his derivative retired in a Hall of Famer, who's won a Stanley Cup here, who's been here forever, to be like, no, I got to go play for my frigging agent. Yeah, I can't wait. What would be the equivalent of that around here? Would that be like if you grew up in Connecticut and people are like, oh, he's going home to the bruins. Would that be would that be the closest thing? Is that right? I mean, it's like what? I want to say like, again, this is why my geography or family, but they're not like an hour away. It's still like they're not like right next to one another. They wouldn't have two things back then and back city and Montreal and be that close. So again, yeah, like the narrative of anything is just because he's from that province means that he's a habs fan. No, no. And again, that's just like one small part of it. The main pot is like he's not going to go to Montreal. But guys, guys,.

"And that isn't being recognized by the National Hockey League. So that's his defense. Right. For me, this is a textbook slow foot. So he needed to get something. And I don't know that pre games is an extension of past indiscretions or not. So for me, he needed to get suspended. Yeah, I agree with both those statements that he has changed his game and he has stayed out of the mock pretty much for a few years. Now, he's close to a $1 million in fines. How about that? Just astounding. So I acknowledge yes. Absolutely. He has tried, and he's done a really good job of changing a lot of the shenanigans that went on around him. The second part is he deserved to be suspended. But if I were marchand, what would really piss me off is that PK subban did it twice and got fine twice. Yeah. Like the lack of consistency and just those three plays, I think is pretty. Much an example of the frustrations people have with the department. Submit should have been suspended. If you got find the first time, the second time, you don't get fined again. You get suspended. And again, if I were Marshawn, that would that would bug me. The Montreal Canadiens clean house, man, what a mama story this turned out to be over the course of the weekend. And the media is happy in Montreal. You know, at around the league, we've heard from the owner, Jeff Wilson, who explained why he took his time in this process, and in fairness, part of it had to do with Mark Bergman, having COVID. So he wanted him to get healthy again, but burges out Trevor Timmons. He's out. Scott Mellon be resigned. He's out. Paul Wilson, who's had a communications with the Montreal Canadiens deeply aligned with Mark Bergman, he's out. And that now leaves us with well an opportunity for somebody who probably doesn't have the experience normally would be required to get an NHL general managers job. They hired Jeff Gordon as the overseer of hockey operations. And they acknowledged that the general manager has to be appreciably understandably has to be French speaking. So when you look at well, first of all, your thoughts on the changes and then all throughout some names and you can respond to that. Any of this surprising, starting with birds being let go and others. Oh, I don't think so. It seemed like, you know, he, he was headed that way himself. Yeah. You know, otherwise they probably would have come to some agreement in the past few months. It would wear on you. I mean, I was, I was around an event a couple of weeks ago and there were a few general managers there. And at the event, they're all watching their phone to see how their team is doing on that particular night. Like they can't even put it away for 20 minutes. Like the stress on them was quite evident. So I wasn't surprised that that house cleaning was done. Mainly because it seemed like Mark bergeron was headed towards that way anyway. Through the Logan may you draft and how that was handled. That was going to happen all at once too. So now you've got a chance to,.

Montreal Canadiens' Shea Weber Could Miss Next Season Because of Injuries

"But then you look at shea weber. I thought he was tremendous in the playoffs in particular in the stanley cup final. I mean brayden. Point was ready to lose his mind in that series because every time he looked up he saw this mountain of a human being shea weber and there's a laundry list right of of injuries. It's the foot it's the knees it's the ankle. It's the hands. I mean on and on and on it goes so it's a developing story. We don't know that shea weber is packing news at five more years left and a lot of money on the table. You know could be placed on long-term injury for potentially the entire season twenty one twenty two well. The national hockey league has to dive into that. So we're going to revisit this in many headlines to come here on the ranger eggs podcast. But it's it's a sad one isn't it because four. "Station have been there many, many times drive right through it. Yeah, no, that's why that's Westward Carey Price. Played his Junior Hockey? Wow, they further for Tri-Cities, but it's funny. He's played for the Americans and the Canadians have been his like, it's only two exposures. I mean, I'm sure he played in the minds of some point, but his only like his most. Recent two teams have been the Americans and like a weird Lady. It's so weird thing. Yeah, I'm surprised factoid, but yeah, no. So the haves is just a shortening of their lay hobbiton name. They are inhabitants there, the Montreal Canadiens, I don't know. You might have to talk to somebody who's more up on French off. Okay. Back history chemical history. But yeah, exactly. Yeah, I'm sorry, there's going to be like three quebecois folks who are having a hard time, understanding English, word, upset at our bastardization of Thirteen name, so I'm sorry. But yeah, that's the hubs are it's shortening of their French. Nickname is kind of the deal. What's next for the Montreal Canadiens moving forward. Now, they're in a weird spot because you could argue that they carry prices 33. He's thirty-three which, which not as great series goalies. Age weird like goalies. They're not moving around. Quite the same as their needs a little different. It's neat catcher. And it's nice. It's hips and Carries had his his share of of injuries and that kind of mid body region. It's tough for a goalie goalies. Usually don't get really, really great until they're like mid-to-late twenties. Vasilevsky mind that it's really hard to learn gold town at the NHL level when you're when you're young like it's silver else to practice other than doing. It's just a really hard thing to learn. It's just it's really hard to be good at that because so much of it is technique and it's less reliant on. I don't want to say it's less reliant on athleticism cuz they're very elite athletes and their their specific opening, their specific type of athleticism has to be honed in a different way. Like a basketball player, who can jump as high as the 24? Yeah, it's it's there's a lot of really technical skills. A lot of really hard specific movements, and and knowledge that you have to kind of gain. And there are some wage Apple's vasilevsky being one. He's still super young. I mean, he's in his early mid-twenties. He's twenty-six something. I mean, so he's he has and he's been great for a long time. Will Tampa like the conversation about Tampa is very short because you say, Well they're going to come back. I mean they they are in the conversation for a Stanley Cup Final again next year. Yeah, like they're they're really good. Dogs are young. They got a ton of talent, they figure their cap situation. But if you're a Tampa, like I would think we would expect you would agree. It's very short conversation like they're going to be back next year. Yeah they're going to run it back and took some decisions to make. I mean, short of just throwing, you know, someone else on on ltir can I suppose and let's just want to run that back but then they win they won without ltir like they with Fascination and kucherov and without the role players they signed to replace couch or yeah. "It's crazy. I was born forty small. And when i was young i was dreaming this morning to see the canadians. Good to this got final. i mean just. I couldn't believe it by now. Well we've had a whole weekend for it to sink into you. Believe it yet. The hockey franchise with the most stanley cup banners and. The rafter is finally but to take to the ice in search of another banner. The montreal canadians will take on the tampa bay. Lightning game won a stanley cup finals. Tonight it has been a decade since any canadian team has had that privilege and we all of course know how it ended for vancouver in two thousand eleven adam gopnik is a writer for the new yorker so so have superfan adam. Good morning. good morning matt. How are you okay. But how are you feeling. We're on top of the world by. I'm blessed that my son who said university has come home to watch the final and perhaps fan. I am never had the chance to really live for very long in montreal. You were born in the united states. You were raised in montreal. You now in new york city do you do. Feel any divided loyalties on a day like today. None whatever of any possible kind. I i love new york and it's been my home for a long time but i am a montrealers through and through in a hab span by religious passion more than bhai sporting affiliation. I started watching the haves in nineteen sixty eight when i was eleven years old And have watched them win. Believe it or not met ten stanley cups. And they've represented for me a kind of continuity in the world. That i that i cherish. What are the team mean to you. When you were growing up meant meant everything. It was my way of getting adjusted to a new city and falling in love with it. You know one of the extraordinary things about the haves matt and i say this with a certain trepidation before An entirely national audience. Because i know every team has its own intense and passionate following but the montreal. Canadians are almost unique among the world's great sporting franchises in representing an entire region province. Or if you if you prefer a nation the only other one i can think of. Its bite like that f c barcelona barcelona soccer club which also like the haves long history of actually having catalan players. Local boys in the team. So growing up in montreal. The haves were the one thing everyone could agree on. It's one thing where the anglo francophone divide is is l- least is weakest. Always has been since the. The haves were born of sentry plus ago as a merger of french canadian and irish catholic players. So montreal for me. Was the montreal canadians. And lots of waste. That in savvy hitter bagels and smoked me the good things about montreal. But my my sense of what. Montreal is of all the wonderful things about that city A are anchored in My my my phantom. I have defended. What do you remember. But the last stanley cup win in ninety three i was actually here for the beginning of it and then i had to go to europe so i was tracing this pre internet match. Shows you how things have changed on the in. The international herald tribune. I have said to several people that this team reminds me. More that how's this for comparing halves vintages of the one thousand nine hundred sixteen which won the stanley cup in the ninety. Three team that everyone's talking about That was also patrick. Joakim team and it had larry robinson the great lehrer robinson at that point playing defensive game that strongly resembles the way shea weber plays now and it had a couple of youngsters of stefan re shea and claude lemieux. Who remind me very much of the youngsters on the team right now see. I've been a fan for more than fifty years. Almost exteriors and the thing i delight about this team is the kind of old people's home kindergarten. Merger of the veterans with these three grade. Kids some cake as we as we call him an nicks ziggy and co coffee. I always say nix. Zouqi looks like the tough local kid and kk looks like his sidekick and co caufield looks like the twelve year old and they can stop getting tagging along behind them. Is there any small measure of delight in the fact that they Stuck it to the toronto police their way to the stanley cup final. I to say there is. There was a certain amount of googling leafs choke in this family. I will not pretend that if there was there was not not so much out of any deep anti toronto sentiment montrealers or above that of course out a perpetual love of the underdog you know. We went in against that very good. Matthews martin teams being distant dismissed as such a degree that The coming back that that beautifully and dramatically was a was unforgettable. you're pretty philosophical guy. Do you think this team is destined to win the cup this year. I don't know. I had the good fortune or fortune to actually watch tampa bay play live against the islanders once and they are intimidating team. When kucherov headman start throwing the puck around you just shiver inside. Did that good I you know all the vectors are or putting positivity and i'll say that just anna likley. They've got the best goaltender they've got a a sound defense and they've got an ever improving offense they could be out in four. We faced that tragic possibility ability. But i have a good feeling. It's been a miserable fifteen and a half months. He wrote a great piece in the in the magazine. About the reopening new york. And what that meant in that city. What does it mean to have something to cheer for. Oh it's it's wonderful. You know we all spent. And i know that in back home in candidates been even more acute in some ways than here. We all spent so long in lockdown searching for something to cheer for other than long form danish television series that we could watch. And so having this feeling the world reopening in that in that emotive sense even if there aren seventeen thousand people in the bell centre The sense of connection. You know we love sports. I think math so much. Because they are the great remaining connector and all of our lives gray vehicle of community that we feel and having been cut off from community for so long having it in this. Newly ecstatic i think is is mentally jerry. You're cut off from canada. You can't be In montreal at the bell centre on the trigger some sort of way to sneak in. Which would i'm trying. But i guess in the absence of that when the team wins. How will you celebrate. Oh well we've got a steady supply of vietor bengals. Might one of my nephews make some much smoke. Meet in california hope will have some and will We'll have our hands gear on my son as they heretical blue shirt that he wears. I wear number twelve yvonne corn way. When i watched no-one in new york i will tell you truly that will notice it in any way. Nobody cares no one new york notice but we will have a party here in our apartment. Which makes you enjoy it even more. Perhaps it's something totally totally and it's in it's bewildering identity when you try to explain to new yorkers. Oh you see where montreal canadian's fans and so we live and die with just forget it. We'll just we'll go on with it the way we want to. You can't explain it to them but We live within balshaw. Montreal Canadiens Interim Coach Dominique Ducharme Tests Positive for COVID-19

"The storyline and the lead for this game three is no Dominique Ducharme. The interim head coach for the Montreal Canadians testing positive for Covid on a test that was administered yesterday in Vegas That was reiterated by a follow up test earlier this afternoon in Montreal. How big of an effect or any effect? Do you expect that to have on this hockey game? You know what? I'm just going back to when I played? You know what All the preparation is done before the game starts. It's done. You know what your responsibilities are now again enter game. I think Luke Richardson, who will be taking over his head coach, he will have decisions to make as far as Do you change the aggressiveness of your four check when you have a lead when you're trailing, Do you become more? You make those system changes during the game As far as when do you double shift the line? Well, that might come into his mind. Maybe he'll do it differently. Ducharme. Each guy has different strengths and weaknesses. He might go at it a different way We touched on it a while ago. I think the matchups situations and face offs that doesn't change. I've gone into many games where the coaches said if you're on the ice against the line, you're not supposed to be on the ice against. We've talked about the matchups. Get off. As soon as possible. You know that it becomes automatic. You don't need a coach to tell you to do it. Nick Kypreos Apologizes to Shea Weber and the Montreal Canadiens

"Prius? Who is a I believe? Still looking for a GIG. After getting the laid off sports taking to twitter and saying quote sources say Shea. Weber's injury sources say Shea Weber. Injury has a season likely over and his future in question told. Injury is related to foot. That was surgically repaired in two thousand eighteen while waiting for swelling to alleviate in further confirmation surgery seemed unavoidable going into this week so His season likely over in his future in question that was on February Twelfth Weber of course returned to action this week Less than a week after caprio mentioned this which is kind of embarrassing. Curios took to Instagram to follow up and say to Shea Weber the Montreal Canadians Organization last week. I had a tweet to further advance. The story of his injury while I was able to properly identify his injured foot. Good on you doctor. And speak of the swelling wallet awaiting further cooperate confirmation. It was not my intent to mislead anyone about his immediate future but above about about after time to reflect. Understand portions of my tweet. Edit UNCERTAIN UNNECESSARY STRESS. Touche his family and a team. Why still stand by the information that I received? I'd like to apologize to Shay Acadians for choose not choosing my words with more sensitivity so I stand by my reporting that his career might be over but sorry that I said it

"We decide when and where we trade you this. This with the timber wolves. This is about maybe some displeasure with some young players who seem a little bit too soft for Jimmy Butler, Wiggins, Anthony towns. And basically if our timber wolves, I looked to trade either one of them currently it, the town's a heck of a player in an all star. Wiggins has been somewhere between a disappoint. And about to be a big disappointment. And I trained Jimmy Butler who's a tough guy, the likes of which they need
