We are back and this podcast is going to be a test. That's right, a test, but I promise all of you will actually have fun taking it and love the results. And this is going to be a 25 question self -administered test that we're going to give to all of you. And yeah, I think it's going to open your eyes as to a lot of the things you're doing right and maybe some of the things you can improve upon in your real estate business. But before we do, Julie Harris has an email that she'd like to read to all of you. Yes, actually, this was an email to myself reminding me about a post that coaching client, one of our premier coaching clients, Ryan Montoya, put on the private members only Facebook page. That's also where some of the coaching sessions happen. Here's what Ryan posted just a couple of days ago. Ryan says, feedback on the open house binder of listings within a one mile radius of my listing. That's something he learned in premier coaching. He said, I had a great open house today. I had 12 people. Now some of you will say, only 12 people will get this. Of those 12 people, three were solid buyer leads, two were seller leads that both got a pre -listing package, also something he got from premier coaching. Now one of the sellers has two homes to sell. Everyone loved the listing binder. So how did he get these results? He posted that, 15 directional signs. He did Google ads for more exposure. He did 100 open house invitations in the neighborhood the day before. He email blasted all agents in 10 to bring their buyers, so that must have been on his listing he was holding open, set a canopy outside with a table and music. Now I'm going to be sending everyone a thank you card for coming into our open house. So I would say that's a pretty rock star conversion rate, 12 people and three buyer leads, two seller leads, one of which has two houses. So that's a total of six potential transactions at least. Now the interesting thing about what happened the next day, I think he posted this maybe on Wednesday. I saw another post, Ryan typically goes to all the coaching sessions, you know the semi private coaching sessions. So you know he's a frequent flyer of course and he posted, sorry I won't be able to attend this one today because I was door knocking expireds and I'll be on a listing appointment. Well the best part of all that is A, he's doing the real work of real estate, B, he's obviously putting himself in the position to help people make money. But you know I'm loving the fact that he's getting these leads and he's not paying anything for them. Not one red cent. Not a referral fee, nothing and in a world where paying for your leads constantly it seems to be on the, you know that seems to be the omnipresent topic. Like where can I buy leads? Well how about this, you buy leads with going out and getting your own leads and then you make a hell of a lot more money. And the other, the underlying benefit beyond all the things I just mentioned is his confidence. Yes that's right and I also liked, one of the reasons I pulled that out to share with all of our listeners was his combination of things that he's doing and his very low ratios. He's not talking about, you know I got six leads out of my drip campaign going to a thousand people a thousand times a year or anything like that. No, he's using a pre -listing package, he's doing the open house system, he did the binder that coach Rochelle taught a couple of days ago as part of premier coaching, he's been very coachable. He doesn't just go to the sessions, he's implementing and then on top of that he's not just lead generating in one source, you know he started out talking about open houses, then he was talking about doing his expired door knocking. So you can see how Ryan is having success on a high level by combining several skills at the same time and implementing at a high level. Absolutely it's fantastic, so congratulations Ryan and literally the thousands of you were also taking the same level of action in a market where everyone else is buying their leads and putting people in drip campaigns. The, guess what, direct face to face human contact really is working wonders, so definitely get off your butts, get away from your keyboards and go out there and help people and make yourself a lot of money. Alright Julie, so let's roll right in with the test. Agents, do you know, actually you wrote it so you can read it. That's okay, so this topic today is the result of a premier coaching session that one of our coaches did this week, coach Rochelle rolled this out. The coaching members liked it so much that we decided to make it into today's podcast. Coaching clients reported that they felt like they had so much more specific direction on what specifically to work on after that session. Now we can't do the full drill down on this podcast like we do in coaching but we'll at least give you the questions that were used. There were 25 questions so we'll go through them relatively quickly and you can scan down and get those questions. That's what I was about to say, Julie, thanks. So yes, the notes for today's podcast and this would be a great test for you to use for your teams or your brokerages or what have you. So please go ahead and join premier coaching. All right, Julie, let's go ahead and jump in and let's get these guys these questions. That's right. Now these are not multiple choice questions, these are not writing an essay type of answers. You have only two choices. The answer is either yes or no. But there's a way, so are we going to do the scoring like before or after? They can do their own, what we're looking at is how many yeses versus how many noes. Okay, that's it. So we're going to be at the end of this, we're going to be counting up how many yeses that you had versus how many noes that you had and based on that information then you're going to have a plan of action that's going to evolve. That's right and in premier coaching there were more questions than this, I just pulled out the top 25. So if you answer no more than yes then you need to get to work upgrading your skills, your habits, your discipline, your schedule. The test will reveal exactly what you need to work on and you'll have the direction you're looking for. For your yes answers make sure you keep doing what you're already doing good or great at and strive to do it at an even higher level. For your no answers at the end of the test circle at least the top three to conquer this quarter, this month and this week. Now note to self, if your answer to any of these questions is not always or only sometimes that counts as a no. So we're going with either no or yes, let's get started. So yes or no real estate skills test. Number one, and we can comment if you'd like in between these because we'll go really quickly. I scanned these beforehand, these are all real work of real estate stuff so it's good drill down information. Yes, it's pretty direct. So number one are at least 50 % of your past 10 transactions listings. Now obviously if you just got licensed yesterday you won't have that stat but for those of you who are in the business a little bit further on, at least 50 % of your past transactions are they listings yes or no? And that's yes or no and we should have, though we won't, you could have even added the caveat to there. Were you paying referral fees for those? Were you buying those leads? But just for the sake of this test and for the sake of today's podcast, were 50 % of your past 10 transactions, you know, five, 20 adjust accordingly, but are 50 % of all of your deals from listings? Question number two. Question number two, do you know what your magic number is? And if you don't know what that question means then the answer's no. That's right. And you know we might have some brand new listeners and maybe they're exempt but they can dig into virtually every podcast we've done referring to that. The Harris Rules book, Premier Coaching, the real estate treasure map, all of that mentions the magic number. Well so assuming you didn't know it, Matt, the magic number formula is what you discover when you're completing the real estate treasure map. I know we have all these funny sort of Harry Potter terms but you get the treasure map for free. It's your fill in the blank business and life plan. You get that for free in the first level of Premier Coaching and the output of that, what you're then going to know is what your magic number formula is. Really important you get this done. You can text the word Premier to 47372. But remember when texting message and data rates may apply. Question number three, do you have and most importantly actually use a pre -listing package? If you don't know what a pre -listing package is, the answer is no. That's right. Number four, do you have and use an organized database otherwise known as a CRM with updated contact information for all of your past clients and centers of influence? So for some of you, you would answer yes, I have a database but we made the question harder because it actually has to have updated contact information that's accurate for your past clients and sphere of influence. It has to actually have good stuff in there. Okay, question number five, do you speak with at least three people from your database every work day about real estate? And I made it only three so that many people will be able to say yes but some of you will say no. And notice the word was speak with, not message. Not drip, message, text or otherwise send smoke signals. Speak with, for the younger folks, that means your voice. That's right. Okay, number six, do you dedicate at least 80 % of each work day to proactive lead generation? Question number seven, do you... You know, that would have been a good thing too. We could ramble on that forever, right? Well, we have on other podcasts. Proactive lead generation versus passive lead generation, proactive lead generation is you making direct contact with an adult human about buying or selling real estate versus passive is, for example, you doing anything hoping and praying that someone then will respond to your, let's say, ad or branding activity. Yes, face -to -face or voice -to -voice is what we mean. That's what proactive is. Yes. Number seven, do you have an open house system that creates at least two closable leads every time you hold a home open? Think about what we shared with you from Ryan, right? So he clearly does have a system. He gave you the bullet points and he got well more than at least two. But do you... So there's two things here. Do you have an open house system? You might have one, but is the system working for you? It has to at least create two closable leads every time you use it. And we've done podcasts about open houses as well. Point number eight, question number eight, do you close at least six transactions yearly as a result of your open house system? That's just testing your answer to number seven. Question number nine, are you confident that you accurately price your listings? Well, how do you know? Do they sell within, I would say, no more than 60 days? You're probably a pretty good pricer. Are you struggling with price reductions? Do you have stuff that's sitting on the market? Or maybe you're getting feedback all the time, great house, but it's too much. Or maybe you're hesitant to take listings because of the fact that you don't know how to accurately price your listings. That's the reason people join Premier Coaching. It's a very critically important skill. If for no other reason than when working with buyers, they're going to know whether a listing is priced accurately. But oddly enough, buyers, generally speaking, will know whether or not something's priced accurately from having seen the competition. But they won't have access to, which the appraisers will, what you will find is going to work against you when it comes to getting that mortgage approval is you're going to have to know the comps, the comparable properties, and it all goes back to knowing how to confidently accurately price listings. Question 10. Question 10. Do you have professional profiles on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram? Professional meaning that it looks like you, it's filled out, your picture is right, your contact information is right, all three of those assets actually match, and it looks like you are in business. Or does it look like you set it up three years ago and haven't done anything with it? And by the way, it is okay to mix personal and professional. In some cases, I think that people kind of expect it. They're not wanting just to go and read your real estate propaganda on your Instagram page. They're going to want to go there to learn more about you, and then you sprinkle in your propaganda, your offers for CMAs and whatnot. So it's okay to mix. And if you want to see our Instagram page, it's Instagram, then it's at Tim and Julie Harris, and you guys can check it out. Question 11, Julie Harris. Do you ask, who do you know who could use my help buying or selling real estate at least twice daily? Who do you know, like, hey, Julie, you know, after you've had a normal natural conversation with Julie at Starbucks or in the line at the grocery store or whatever, and say, hey, Julie, by the way, who are the two or three people that you can think of right now who are thinking about buying or selling real estate that I should be helping in this market? You guys can iterate on that question, but the essence of it is, is you're giving them a number to think of, a number of people, and then you're asking a question and you're including the word helping. Who are the people you know that I should be helping buy or sell real estate in this market? And you will be surprised. You will absolutely be shocked in some cases how frequently you actually get a referral that way. That's true. And remember, it's not, do you know anybody? Because people don't spend much thought on that answer. It's who do you know or who are, you know, two or three people, you know, don't ask questions that can result in a yes or no, because the human brain is always going to shut it down. Who are the two or three people who are the one or two people or, hey, Julie, who's the number one person right now that you can think of that is thinking about buying or selling real estate that I should be helping? Those types of questions are going to generate leads. Even if you don't get one right away, that person's going to remember that you asked and they're going to, if they stumble across somebody, send that person to you. That's right. Question number 12, do you have goals in five areas of life and are they posted where you see them daily? Again, that comes from the real estate treasure map. Do you actually have goals in five areas of life and are they posted? And the goals in the five areas, Julie Harris, are? You're not putting me on the spot, are you? I am. Family, financial, physical, mental or emotional, and education. That's right. There you go. Question number 13, do you use whiteboards to visually track your business? You should be tracking your listing leads, your buyer leads, so you have a leads board, you have an active listing leads, those are the ones you have kind, you know, actively on the market, your pendants and your closings. You should be tracking all of those. We teach you that very, very specifically in premier coaching and all of my elite coaching members have to send me a picture of their whiteboards. I think you have, you do that as well prior to every coaching call and it really does keep you on track. Well it's so yeah, KPIs and cool dashboards that show up on your, you know, your mobile phone and whatnot are fantastic, really neat, love the technology, but nothing will ever be as powerful as walking into your workspace and having a big dry erase board that was that you numbered in permanent ink, one through a hundred for the number of closings you're going to do this month and you're looking at it and realizing you've only done 30, right? In other words, you're going to see all the blank spots on the one through a hundred that should be representing close transactions. That is a really wonderful, overt, psychological reinforcement of the direction you should be going. The problems with the dashboards inside your phone and your computer is you could hide from it. A dry erase board, especially a big one that dominates your workspace, no hiding from that. Yeah, that's right. It's called visual accountability. Yes. Number 14. You might guess that this would have been in there. Are you involved in coaching? It's a yes or no guys. You can fix that right away by the way. All right. 15. Do you have and use an actual buyer presentation? A lot of you do have listing presentations, but maybe there's a reason why most agents complain about buyers not being loyal, buyers not knowing what to do next, buyers working with two agents at once, buyers buying it for sale by owner, walking into an open house and working with that agent or going to new construction. Well, your buyer presentation of course cures that. Do you have one? The answer is yes or no. The output of the buyer presentation is the buyer signs the buyer agency, your agency agreement that your state requires, and they're also signing an exclusive buyer agency contract with you, and they're also signing a sample buyer net sheet. That's really the output. Just like if you were to go on a listing presentation and you don't have a listing until the seller signs the paperwork, that's what your mindset should be about working with buyers. A lot of you have taken this sort of laissez -faire, lazy approach to working with buyers and you treat it like a big social experiment. You wonder why some of these buyers flake out on you is because they don't have any sense of loyalty to you because you've not approached them in the first place as a professional.

So, I mean, it might have been a 7, but in my mood three hours into a movie about postman is a 5. So westerly with tea. Westley. Westley. They get separated. And in those intervening years, princess buttercup gets betrothed, another big word. To an odious, another big word? Another big word. Killing them on these notes here, prince humperdinck. You must have been more in your glasses. Oh, push them right up the bridge of my nose. Play by Kristen Brandon, who is also Jerry fright night. Yeah, Chris saran is popping up in these. So, but before she can be married, buttercup gets kidnapped by three bandits. A sword fighting mercenary on a secret vendetta played by Broadway star Mandy Patinkin, who says to this day, this is his favorite role in legal Montoya. It was a great role. Gentle hearted giant played by in a strange stretch of casting André the Giant. Well, it's hard to cast someone who's not a giant, to play a giant, so he played physic. Seemed fitting. Yes. What was the other guy's name? I remember. You conceivable. They come as a ceiling thing. Wallace Shawn, who is a subject of one of my favorite onion articles talking about how he will be tapped to replace Daniel Craig as James Bond. I think Wallace Shaun will be an excellent 007. I love that. Yeah, I'd watch it. Inconceivable. So he is a mal the individual who fancies himself as a brainiac. They are pursued by a mysterious man in black who has motives of his own for rescuing the princess. So I'm curious to hear you. I have my opinion after that. I want to hear you guys first. Trav. I love this movie. Again, I've seen it multiple times. But the eagle Montoya, with his speech there at the end, he has his own arc and you almost care about that arc at the end more than you do the Wesley and buttercup. As soon as it's a sheriff with 6 figures, you're like, damn. Yeah. You have the same and honestly his acting in that part. You can't talk enough about that. Everybody remembers that scene. Everybody remembers that line. Obviously because it's repeated so often. But it's almost, I don't know, I can not conflict. God, one of my crescendo of the film for me anyway. Yeah. Watching it. Because going to save the princess and getting out of the castle. Again, I've seen variations of that several times, but the enigma Montoya storyline I really enjoyed. André the Giant loved him. So delightful. Yeah, just heavenly. The creepy little roses, the rodents of unusual size. The craziest swamps, the daring do, yeah, I loved it. I'm a big Chris surrendered fan as well, because he was perfect for the role. Jerry dandridge and fright night. And then you have the Maui edge..

"You're not alone. There's so many you know so many resources resources for that but you know if if there is some leeway if there is some like okay like it. I'm just unhappy. I can see this going down really quick so let me get prepared. Of course i you know you want to financially be okay you want to mentally be strong because you don't know you always hope that you leave and you guys can be friends and you know but i mean and minds like the extreme of toxicity you know so i understand that there's different levels of it but just to make sure you're prepared because there's so much that that you're gonna be triggered by this person who has been your person for years knows you inside now knows your triggers knows your insecurities and guess what they're gonna use it against you. Hopefully they don't but they will and what happens when triggered and when you're being judged in shamed and you know all your skeletons are coming out because you know. The person doesn't know how to deal with their own emotions. So they're abusing you in another way. I call this legal abuse. I'm like family all the stuff. I'm like it's illegal lies legalize abuse it. Is you know. It's this nasty. So i see so much of that too. And it's it's so sad but yeah. That's probably you know one of the things. That i wanted the advice i was given was document like everything on my gosh. Yeah document every knows how many hall told me to do that. And i didn't do it. Like i should have an affiliate. Yes wall in a difference. I'm just gonna say that. Yeah there's there are apps now that new you talk to your to that person through that app. There's no voice conversations. Everything is documented. This way when you have to go back and hopefully you. Don't you know. I'm not one. I want these everybody. Who's getting a divorce to light. Be amicable because to me. I feel like there could be a new way of divorcing where it's just like hey we didn't work out but i still love you. We still have our family so our family's going to look different. you know. that's what i was hoping for. And then i got played opposite and i was like okay. Well now we're not even because of the toxicity in the abuse you keep on spewing at me. We're not even going to have a relationship. So i'm going to show my child that you don't take that and i tried and now you know because there was a point to where i was trying to knowing what he was he was trying to and he succeeded in taking my son away so currently right now. I'm battling to have my rights as a mother ring. Brought back my son being brought back because he unfortunately won this round. But it's something where you need to just yeah have have everything in line and hope for the best but also be prepared for you know. Have your shit together because it might go down and you have everything. It's it's he said she said. And when you're in front of judge if you have all that people were documentation and everything lake also not only documenting it but putting it in the way where a judge can look at it as story. You know. Because what i did is i had everything but there was so much. It was just dumped. Yeah i don't even think yeah even read through anything so it's just like what's the point of having not if if you're not categorizing it and putting it in a way where they can understand the bigger picture. "So if you're a medium doesn't mean you're an energy healer if you're an energy healer doesn't necessarily mean you're media. It's just i was always again. I see energy so it was just something that was like natural for me. You know and my sessions. I was like oh grandma's here. Oh and the way i see. It's kind of icy like the lineage. Because a lot of my work has been ancestoral healing. So i see lineage. And who's like your ancestors and who's with you and it just again. It wasn't something i was. I almost didn't wanna do that. Because i don't i felt very like i'm like i don't want to be. I don't want somebody coming to me wanting a message. And what. If i can't yeah i mean like i want that pressure. I wanna have a session and what was happening was people were just showing up. And i'm like oh and i was like okay. I'm like well. This is the message. This is who i saw. It was something that like became part of my session like so when you have an energy healing session there's no guarantee but majority often than not i will see someone or i'll see your lineage and i'll know who's protecting you and who's around you and if there's messages that come in they come in you know. Wow oh my gosh. So you mentioned and sestri. Oh healing what do we hold Traumas from our ancestors. Or can you tell me what that is Have you heard of the word Highway wrong Bud genetics epa genetic. Yeah okay yes so. I have not heard of that. Okay well it will. It's the study and into the research that trauma is embedded in our dna right so it goes from generation to generation So that's again something that has been studied and Ancestral healing for me. Because of where i came from first generation colombian and just having a different type of life in a way of being I understood that to be the norm but it wasn't right and so there was a lot of toxicity like you said like i am. I love my parents death. And i've done a lot of work. You know understanding or parents do as the best they can with what they were given but it trickles down right. Their parents were abusive. My parents were Win does the cycle of toxicity abuse stop it stops with one person is like enough is enough and i'm aware that this is not healthier right for me but it does I've had people where their their grandmother had a situation and now it's replaying very similarly in their life you know so.

"Like you know subcategory. You know it's a it's a different style But it would be an energy healer and especially if you're if you've had trauma or you feel like you've had some people aren't sure in oregon sub-conscious just kind of blocks things. I know information. There were certain things that arose in my healing journey. That i kind of knew but i kind of did it. You know like it was just like a dream or reality. Sadly the so. You have to make sure that you know it's somebody you feel comfortable with because they're connecting with your energy you know so it's like you don't pick somebody you know right off the bat without understanding who they are. I personally want somebody who has lived through. It has gone through. The experience of what i've gone through and is is proof is living proof. Kind of like how. I am like i. This is my story. This is my healing. This is what i do. This is what i know. And i know it because i lived it not because i think it now because i went to school and you know i mean not that schooling is good but when it comes to this like you need it all. You need the whole package. You need the schooling but you also need the life training. I feel personally. Because i want. I want somebody who has lived through it. An is is proof of like ooh. That's what i want to become and it's about just doing the work making sure you feel comfortable with that person to because energy work like you're allowing them and i know many people were like. Oh i don't know what that means but when you know what that means you're like oh it's very it's nine intrusive right so you want somebody that you trust with your energy. 'cause you're you're you're you're leaving yourself open and when i connect i see a lot of things that you know that so many people wouldn't want to hear from someone so it's like understanding to how to deliver that message and there are times too when i see things that i know. The my client isn't ready to to work through. So i just leave it because it's not my my position in my place to trigger. I'm not. I don't want to trigger someone into now healing or a setback. The work i do is very It's sensitive and i'm honor. That and i honor everybody's journey because everybody's on their own journey. Everybody has their own tien-lin line and way of of slowly process processing it. Because i'm like let's go like i'm like dive in headfirst like come on. Yeah we're going to do. We're gonna do a thousand percent. But i've learned i've learned i have clients like that and i love it. 'cause i'm like. Yeah let's do it. It's it's frigging hard to. But i'm like out this but then i have other clients are like no like i'm honoring my process. I'm like good. I'm like you need to. Oh my gosh you're like you're just like blowing my mind right now. This is this is amazing and you know it makes me think of like the movie always has like. That's how i want the world to be like pandora are You know avatar. Yeah yeah yeah like how. The earth is all like connected and the energy is and i think it is scientifically. They're finding out that it is like that. Yes and i just think that that's amazing I can imagine that somebody who is also so. I don't think you can correct me if i'm wrong Someone who is a medium Doing this type of work. I can imagine that would be a lot more intense for you. As opposed to maybe somebody. That's not or. Is that something that mediums usually do. They usually see they're calling as being Energy healers now you know again i. I've i've picked in in and grabs my gifts right..

"Call the allison wonderland going in the rabbit hole and trying to find yourself that i fell into as it happens like i was detoxing and doing cupping on my body because again for me. It's like the whole detoxing is mind body and soul so my body too hot to detox. You know as well as like everything else. And i found the shaman and she was an energy healer and she was like. Oh do you want to add it on. And i was like well one in rome and i don't know what what energy feeling is but like let's just try it. Let's do it. let's do it. I'm like i'm game. You know and then afterwards it was like this huge shift like everything made sense me like my senses were open. I was more in touch with mother nature. I felt this weights that. I didn't realize i had on me lifted off. That's when i'm like. Oh now. I understand who i am and then i sought out one of the best teachers. a break he at the time you know in san diego and i studied with her For over a year to just really understand it. Because i somebody that was end. It wasn't even supposed to be like my career is just like this is for me. This is my healing journey. And i need it and for me. How i do. Things is by learning them and really them and then incorporate in my life And that's what i did but it just so happened to be that it's like no. This is actually me. I've always been this way. I've always been an energy healer as far as understanding energy and reading energy. I just never harnessed it. And now i can move energy and i can hold the space for people to feel because like i said we're disconnected. Where like unplugged right and so energy is is. I'm i'm plugging you back in. And we're moving through stuff because everything is energy. This isn't woo. This is scientific. You can google that everything has a vibration frequency so if everything has a frequency. Where does it go if it's not moving. Where does it go in your body. And that's where disease happens. That's wearing zaidi happens like anxiety. Is that energy right. You feel this energy and it's energy so we just have to move it. We just have to feel it but so many people including myself we run from it. We numb it. We suppress it and it comes out later on with with other elements in our body and we don't know what is happening. But i understand it to be that. It's the trauma and using that word very loosely. Right now on. Because i know that's a buzz buzzword and you know i've experienced trauma on many levels So just so you know like i'm speaking from my traumatic experience. But that word is used very loosely. Now everybody's in trauma and that's not the case. So i just want to honor that word because i don't like how people are just using it for like. Oh my god. I couldn't find my million dollar house so that was a traumatic experience. It's like okay like no but okay. Yeah but but it sees in our body and who wants to feel through stuff. It's really tense to feel through some some hardships of our lives. And so you disconnect you subconsciously. Disconnect and our our our subconscious is like trying to protect us. So it's like. Oh no we're not gonna we're gonna just like it's gonna be in here and it's there but you're not going to really feel it it'll come out. In certain times and years later and energy work helps to feel and move past in a safe environment because half the time. I'm feeling it..

So like They're here to help me with the baby and we call it our village and i just i love that when you have when you have that those people that are there to help you and i know you know. I think it's it's definitely like american culture that we've pushed on to our lives. You know the has been ingrained in us. Through through years of the mothers. the mother stays home. The mother keeps the house cleaned. The mother takes care of the baby in the mother. It all and you know. And i think it's even to the point now that we subconsciously like keep that in so you know i find myself when it comes time to clean the house like i would just. I need to do it myself. Because i'm the mother. Even though i do technically work you know my husband works. But we just feel that pressure. And i think it's so important that we just normalize you know not doing it or guys like doing the laundry or cooking like i i think subconsciously. I don't cook because that's more of my like ooh. I'm not gonna cook. Because i'm a woman i'm like no i'm not i don't cook good in. That's it and it is ingrained in us. It written we have to in. That's why for me. I chose energy healing because it it was something. Where the disconnect that i had and so many people that i see majority of the world has is the fact that they're not connected and they don't know their true self right so it's like. Oh well this is my voice in my head so clearly. That's my voice. It's like no that worse is actually not yours. But it's ingrained and it needs to now be rewired like you have to train yourself out of that just like you were trained into it. It was at your natural state of being so this energy healing. Tell me about that. i'm very. I'm very intrigued in very interested This is kind of this is new to me. I don't know anything about that. So this played a role in your Played a role in your ability to leave your toxic relationship. It's playing a role in your in your healing currently and then is this like this. Is your life right. this is who i am. It's always it's always played a role I just never understood it. So when i was young i would see spirits and i would see those past and i would also feel energy. I would feel someone's energy. I mean that's just how i can explain it. I was young unites. "I left i was really prepared. Because part of my journey to virtually riser. Right so spirituality. And energy work is how i've gotten through this and so i was very aware of my trauma. I was healing my trauma from my childhood. I was gaining. Excuse me my spiritual gifts. As far as intuition and in reading energy like i trust i trusted myself more so than the outside world and that is how i just navigated through that i did the first year was i like to say i was in like hermit mode so i just really like focused on my kid making sure he was okay because he's going through and he has no idea what's happening and it's not his fault and i tried to really cushion the fall as much as i could and focused on work and you know getting myself to place. Why comfortable and proud of myself and just this is a new beginning. And i've always been one to shift and move and start new so that experience wasn't that difficult but when you're a mom and you have the added child and all that It was it was hard and throwing the pandemic. I was solo parenting going through a really toxic divorce. It was but i had my inner peace. I had you know myself love and i just trusted that everything is happening for a reason. I'm learning my lessons. I have a good community. 'cause you need a community can't do this by yourself at all you know. I'm very independent and very like I was very toxic in the way of like i can do it and i took myself and like that. There is something to be said about that because it's so rewarding in. it's so like you have this superwoman. Like i can do whatever but also you know. I learned to receive and i learned to open up a little bit. Because trusting is is also something after that that's hard to do and again going through toxic marriage. It is insane what you experience the people who who say they're your family who go on the other team so you're dislike you. Try to really disconnect and only let in certain people that you can wholeheartedly trust which is hard when you're going through so much emotion there's getting thrown out you so it's like being grounded is key. And how are you grounded by knowing your truth by knowing that what what people say are just words and they can't penetrate you and you stay in your truth in in your light and that's kind of like howard canary navigating the storm. Oh my gosh. That's so amazing. Like i have so many questions that went ask you. You're talking about these amazing points. I think are so important. That women here You know you talk. You mentioned the supermom. I think that it's important in. I kinda feel like i'm seeing a little ripple in of movement starting to happen with that unit for so long. We've we've prided women for being the super moms and doing everything and go into work and taking care of the home and you know Taking care of the children and then being okay..

As NPR's Andrew Limbaugh reports, the pandemic has put an important asterisk on the numbers characters like the hard drinking but protective detective Renee Montoya from last year's Birds of Prey. And the problem is, that's where now off all of these voter suppression bills that you're seeing are aimed at scaling back to the vote-by-mail because apparently the Republicans think so too. They wanted they they like their in-person voting where they can create really long lines and age of machines go down and Democratic precincts and Etc.
