"I'm sure you share that attitude. I won't put you on the spot. Monica Crowley, former assistant Secretary of the Treasury. However, would you just send a little message to all of the good people out there? Why you are prepared to take the slings and arrows and why you'd be prepared to do it again because as my buddy Chris plant says, one of the most effective things the left has done through the alinsky tactics of personal attack is to ensure that decent people don't work for a Republican administration. What is your message to those who have fallen for that Democrat tactic? Well, you know, it's not easy to be, you know, to go through the fire. It certainly is not, you and I have both experienced it. Donald Trump continues to experience it every day for the last 6 years. Only because he wanted to bring America back and restore America to its greatness and to its potential. I love this country body and soul. This country has been so good to me and to my family over many generations and many years, I believe in the great experiment of human liberty in this country. And so I feel it viscerally. I feel it, this is not just an intellectual calling for me or even a political calling for me, said this is an emotional calling for me to serve my country. And Donald Trump and the America first movement is so important to bringing this country back. We're not talking about the uni party. We're not talking about the GOP establishment. We're not talking about the John McCain's Mitt Romney's or George W. Bush's of the world. Donald Trump and the American first movement are so unique in American history in terms of the pillars of it and what is trying to accomplish, bringing us back to those foundational principles that I feel a duty and an honor. So, you know, when I got that call, the first time and then the second time to serve in the Trump administration, of course I jumped. It's not easy to do, but if you love this country, you need to be part of the new right. You and I are now part of the new right. We are fearless. We do not internalize those attacks when the Democrats or from their best. They can take a hike. You know, they can bleep off as far as we're concerned. We have a much bigger mission, and we will not be intimidated. We will not cower in fear. We will step up to serve not just the American people, but this country that we love and set it back on the right track. It's not about party politics. It's not even about personality, it's like president Trump. It's about one very simple question. Do you love America? If you love America, you're on our side. Okay, guys, if you haven't voted, go and vote. She's off to see God willing the future governor of New York, say hi to Lee zeldin, we're off tomorrow. We have a republic to save. Don't forget, decision 2022 starts imminently on the Salem news channel. This has been America first one on one, wherever you are, whatever you're doing, keep your head on a swivel, watch your 6, hold the line. Never give up. Never give in. And stay frosty. Our fathers brought forth upon this continent, a new nation conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal. I know not what course others may take. But as for me, give me a liberty or give me death. The world when little notes are long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here. And not. What your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country. Mister Gorbachev tear down this wall. I can hear you. The rest of the world hears you. And the people. And the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon. And we will make America great again. This is America first with Sebastian gorka..

"So just off the top of my head, those are some big issue items that the Republicans are going to pursue over the next two years. And how worried are you of the lame duck session that they're just going to Nancy and chuck are just going to try and pile drive stuff through? Do you think the mansions and cinemas of the world are going to say no, we're not doing that? Yeah, I actually do have some hope that those two will in fact block some of the madness if they try between today and the end of the year and the bringing in of the new Congress and early January. Look, nothing is. I don't put anything past these Democrats, but based on Manchin's comments over the weekend blasting Joe Biden on wanting to kill the coal industry, which by the way, where is Manchin been over the last two years and he pushed through the inflation reduction act, which costs us nearly $2 trillion in contributed more to this crazy inflation. So take everything Manchin says with a grain of salt, but the fact that he blasted Biden that over coal tells me that he's either maneuvering to retire because he will be defeated. He's up for reelection in two years. He will be defeated in West Virginia, or he's thinking about changing parties after today. And caucusing with the Republicans, I'll take him if he wants to join us, but I do think in the end he and cinema will likely block. I mean, they will see come tonight if we are right. God willing that the Republicans have a real mandate here after today. And those remaining moderate Democrats are not going to want to fly in the face of that because they're going to have to face reelection unless they're doing what I predict Manchin might do, which is change parties or retire. All right, follow all of the development on the Salem news channel. You can watch it on Roku on all those platforms. Its decision 22 with all of our best hosts across the country. We will be dipping in and out of Mar-a-Lago with my producer Jeff, interviewing some people who you might recognize. How Can the GOP Be Reformed? Monica Crowley Weighs In

"Can the GOP be reformed? And then what tools do we have for the two years whilst they still have The White House to try and just rein in the economic insanity yeah, so because we're going to have all of these fresh GOP faces in Congress. Number one, the first thing that they are going to do is stop all of this crazy spending that's delivered this wild inflationary environment that's hurting everybody. I don't care if you're Jeff Bezos or your dog walker for a living. I don't care where you are on the income scale. You're being crushed by inflation. So the first thing that the Republicans need to do is stop buying legislative agenda, okay? Stop it dead in his tracks. They can not be afraid to be called obstructionists or any other name. They literally have to say no to everything that comes out of The White House and just stop it. Now, Joe Biden can still do a lot of damage by executive order. But if you can at the very least just say no to everything that comes from the administration on Capitol Hill, then you can begin to rein in some of this. There are still trillions of dollars in the pipeline that need to be spent that have already been committed by the Democrats. So inflation will continue because this money is still going to go out there. But the number one thing is just block everything in Congress,

Democrats Didn't Fear Trump's Failure, They Feared His Success

"Of the Republicans, you know what? I was thinking about this the other day. And I have been talking about this on my podcast in elsewhere. That the Democrats and the left did not fear Donald Trump's failure. You know, they used to say, always going to be a failure. He's going to get us into World War three and all this stuff. That was all nonsense. They did not fear his failure. They feared his success. Because they knew that if he succeeded, he'd expose all of their fraud and hypocrisy and the depth of corruption and rock in Washington, et cetera, which she has done and continues to do. But more so, they feared his success because they knew that that would give rise to hundreds, if not thousands of other America first candidates and leaders. And that is exactly what's happened. You'll notice that from Carrie Lake to Herschel Walker damn Baltic in New Hampshire across the board. These are for the most part, America first candidates. You know, it's much easier said for the left and the deep state and permanent bureaucracy to try to take down one man Donald Trump. They haven't succeeded, but it's much easier for them to target one guy and try to remove him as a political force. It's much more difficult for them to try to squash hundreds of them carry Lake Marjorie Taylor Greene. Matt Gaetz, Donald Trump, all of them, and all of us. It's much more difficult.

Monica Crowley: I Think Normal Americans Will Destroy the Dems

"Think normal Americans are going to destroy the Democratic Party tomorrow. And I include parents in that. I think normal Americans, the exact people that you are talking about, who might vote every four years for president, but are not particularly political, are now awake. They're not woke. There are awake. And they may not serve understand the overarching Marxist revolution that we are experiencing right now. That has been ongoing in this country since the 1950s that began as a KGB operation to destroy this country from within. They might not understand that big picture element to it. But what they do understand is when they go to the grocery store, they now have to put items back that they want because they can't afford it. Or when they go to the gas station, they're filling half their tank because to fill a whole tank would set them back for the rest of the week. Or the fact that their children are being indoctrinated into critical race theory or being sexualized or that their sexuality at a very young age is being discussed with teachers and others without parental involvement. I think all of those things, their communities flooded with fentanyl, everybody knows somebody who's accidentally overdosed because of all the drugs flowing across the border. I think those things have turned a lot of people on to the absolute historic catastrophe that is the Biden administration and total democratic control. So even if they don't get the bigger picture of what Obama once called the fundamental transformation of the nation, what they do understand is that their lives are a lot worse today than they were just two years ago under president Trump. And Republican control at least for the most part, they are poor and they are less safe.

"This episode of the American first podcast with me Sebastian walker is brought to you by Franklin armory, shop freedom, quality and innovation at Franklin armory dot com. Franklin armory, we are facilitators of freedom. One of the most important lessons of the past two years is that to be a strong nation America must also be a manufacturing nation. We have to bring back our manufacturing. We can not count on China or any other country. To give us our critical products and we can not have our vital supply chains, whoever heard of this, you can't get anything. The stores are half empty. We have a supply chain. Nobody ever even talked about this. And this all came out of the stench of the Biden administration. That's one way of putting it and came out of the stench of the Biden administration. He's oh so right. Are we going to be able to corral the Biden administration to stop the lunacy the destruction of the greatest nation on God's green earth? Today is the day will we wake up tomorrow with that option? If we do, how do we go about it? Let's ask somebody who truly is a warrior for America. She knows how to drain the swamp. She served as not only the spokesperson for the treasury, but also the assistant Secretary of the Treasury in the Trump administration, a dear friend of mine, Monica Crowley. Welcome to America first. Hey, Seth, it's so great to be with you. And I've got to tell you I am so honored to be here on election day because this is going to be, I think the first step to really turning this country around. But we all have to come out today in huge, huge numbers. The red wave isn't just going to happen passively. It's something we actually have to do. So I encourage everybody if you haven't yet voted, get out there and do it now. All right, so we had a little chat. We don't rehearse our interviews. We don't have talking points cleared. Other media platforms do, but I was curious before we went on air. I asked you, I told you how I was feeling about today. And I asked you if you felt similarly, the last since maybe Thursday, I've been feeling very, very good about it. And if we look what happened at the weekend Monica, if we look what happened with the Democrats starting allegedly to prepare big articles in The New York Times to throw Biden under the bus as we heard talk just yesterday of, oh, the Russian bots have woken up, I guess, if the Democrats lose it will be okay to question elections. I'm feeling very, very optimistic about today. How about you? I am too. Really felt a shift in the energy about a month ago. Whereas before I thought, well, this might be closed, so we might lose some critical races here and there. Over the last month, you could feel a palpable shift in the energy out there. It really has changed. And I think it's because, you know, the American people are very sturdy. And we're very durable, and we're very patient. So the American people, because we've been blessed with this extraordinary country with great liberty and great prosperity for much of our existence, we will put up with a lot. The American people can be pushed and pushed and pushed, and they will take it and take it and take it. Until the moment they don't. And I think we are literally at one of those hinge moments where the vast majority of the American people taking a look at all of the destruction that's been wrought by the Biden administration and unified democratic control in Washington and they are at one of those moments now said where they have had enough. I've had a lot of traditional Democrats, so I'm sitting in the state of New York now pray for me that we get resulted as governor tonight, but I've had a lot of traditional Democrats say to me, you know, I've never voted Republican in my life. But I'm going to vote for Lee zeldin or I'm going to vote for bob stefanowski in Connecticut or I'm going to vote for a Democrat for U.S. senator when I've never done that before. And again, I think it's because the vast majority of the American people have just had enough with inflation, gas prices, soaring crime, cities and collapse wide open border and all of the problems that that brings in, including fentanyl and other drugs. I just think Americans have hit a wall. All right, now it would be indiscreet of me to say in front of 3 million people how long we have known each other. I think we first met as partners in crime supporting that great radio raconteur John batchelor. And you and I, we like most of John's guests. We eat, drink, we live this stuff. Politics may be a filthy, filthy business as my father used to tell me, but he always reminded me it is so ever so fascinating. My take is a former Trump appointee you yourself as a former Trump appointee. We live in the political media. And the way I read the last 6 months, I try and extract myself from that environment for a second. And to understand what we're seeing across the country, what happened in the Commonwealth of Virginia, where a new guy with a pretty milquetoast campaign actually defeated, one of the most dangerous powerful people in the Democrat party that's Terry McAuliffe. And here's my analysis. And you travel the country, you give speeches, you've been in the business for quite some while you work for former president Nixon. I think what's happened or the most significant trendline is not people like us. It's not you and me. It's not the die hard, reaganite conservatives, classical liberals with a small L, the Patriots who love this country and are constantly politically engaged. I think what we've witnessed, especially in the last three months perhaps, is the majority of Americans who are truly apolitical. They wake up and it's not the first thing they do is or they go on Twitter or they check out what Politico has written about conservatives. But they just live their lives. Their patriots, they love America. They live their lives and make sure the bills are paid at the end of the month. It's those people, many who are independents. Some of whom are traditional Democrats who not out of any sense of politics or moving out of their tribe have just said, oh my gosh, how much gas cost? Why is the local community sending a drag queen story out of a kid? I think this, if there is a massive wave today, I think it will be because the formerly apolitical to the trendy phrase have been red pilled..

Oh, thank you, rich, for asking, yeah, I launched this podcast back in March. Again, it's called a monitor Crowley podcast, pretty direct, straightforward. And you can get it wherever you get your podcasts. So Apple, Google, Spotify, stitcher, just type in monitor Crowley podcast, hit subscribe and tree. I do it three days a week, and it will automatically download your phone. And I basically treat it like a talk radio show. And so I do current events, obviously, you talk about the midterms of what is going on in the country, talk about the state of the country, the state of these races, and so on. We do do some foreign policy. I just had former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on yesterday's show for about 30 minutes and we had a wide ranging and newsmaking conversation really fantastic. Tomorrow on the show, I've got Herschel Walker, I've spent some time down in Georgia on the campaign trail with him earlier this week. I have some great stories about that. And he will join me tomorrow on the show. So I cover a lot of things. I also do some pop culture. I've had cooked camera in on the show. I'm going to have CSAM. Summers off the show. Talking about a whole variety of things. But you know what? This country is hanging by a thread. And that's why I decided to do this podcast in the beginning because I thought, you know what? A lot of people had come to me about doing a show like this. And I just either didn't have the time or whatever it was, but now I saw, you know what, we are in an existential moment for America right now, and we need all hands on deck. "And wheeling out the old fossils of former democratic president. You know what I find interesting Monica? I don't know if you've noticed this, but over the past, I would say two months or so. The Republican candidates have not been talking about 2020. They have not been talking about Donald Trump. They have been focused on the issues. We're talking to Carrie Lake, Herschel Walker, we go down the list. It's interesting. The only people talking about the 2020 election, are the Democrats. They're the ones that are bringing Trump up, but everybody seems to be focused, including the president on making sure that we get these candidates elected on November 8th. Yeah, exactly. I mean, you've got to prioritize, right? We're trying to save our country and it's like saving a life. It literally is saving a life. And when you come upon an accident scene, you have to triage. So right now we are focused on triage, which is getting as many Republicans elected to stay as possible. You need to vote for every Republican insight. I don't care if you have to hold your nose. I don't care if you've got sort of a lame candidate going in your community for dog catcher. You hold your nose and you vote for every Republican in sight because Tuesday needs to be even more than a message election, how this needs to be for the Democrats and extinction level events. That's what we need to deliver on Tuesday. So grab your Friends, grab your family, your colleagues, get out there and vote for every Republican up and down the ballot. A great advice from Monica Crowley, she is the host of the Monica Crowley podcast we have a direct link on our live show blog, but you can find out wherever you get your podcast and as you just heard Monica said, she's got a full hour on the campaign there in Georgia, her time out on the campaign trail. Monica, are they sending you back out on the road between now and election day? I have no plans for that yet, although my good friend Lee selden, who is the Republican candidate for governor of New York, where he actually has a real chance. He's running even if not slightly ahead of the accidental democratic governor Kathy hochul, who's been an absolute mess. I may go out and do some additional events for him between now and Tuesday. But everybody, I just really now and then volunteer whatever you can to make sure that these races are clean. Okay, so volunteer your time, your resources and or your expertise. Volunteer your time to be a poll watcher, poll observer. Resources donate to your local candidates or your statewide candidates or your gubernatorial candidates if you can. And if you're an attorney volunteer your services if they're legal challenges to the ballot or to the results, the left does this all day long. They have armies of people doing this kind of thing. And our side is busy, you know, living our lives, working, raising our families, going to church. We don't have necessarily time to do this. But now we've got to make the time. Because this country is hanging by a thread, and we need all hands on deck. All right, Monica, we're going to leave with their great advice, great workout on the campaign trail and it's going to be a fun couple of days. It certainly will be very interesting content and I look forward to hopefully God willing celebrating with you after the election. I can not wait. I will have the Prosecco ready to go, so. All right, Monica. Monica Crowley, everybody hosted the Monica Crowley podcast. You gotta get this podcast you to such a great job. Very insightful and really entertaining interviews. A

"Well, Monica Crowley, you know, if we want to pretend this was done in good faith. You would scratch your head and say, is it the way that you solve these things? A couple lawyers pick up the phone and talk about, oh, yeah, we need these documents. Oh, okay. You didn't have these documents. They have classification markings. We'll give you these. And you work it out. But the idea, I mean, the giveaway that this is not a good faith thing is you send basically the FBI HRT team in to rummage through Melania's underwear drawer, looking for the Mission Impossible knock list, which of course Trump being the noted voracious reader that he is, no doubt took and was highlighting and putting notes on. As if he packed it himself. I mean, the whole thing, I think the whole thing's extremely dangerous because you have now elevated the power of law enforcement against a political opponent. And I don't know if they're saying going back from that new status quo. Yeah, and look, this has been going on a long time. The weaponization of all of our institutions. But the most dangerous ones being the DoJ FBI and IRS, and now Kurt, it looks like the leftist the neo communist take over of those institutions is nearly complete. In the case of the IRS, it's literally recognized when you're having tons of thousands of new agents that are going to be packing heat. What do they need? Is there a pencil pushes? What do the IRS agents need guns for? So we are in a very, very dangerous moment here for the country. And the point about Trump is, you know, of course this is about Donald Trump. He is an existential threat to the entire ruling class. And a major obstacle to their great reset programs, their great reset agenda here at home, which is moving the United States away from a country that's based on the individual liberty and economic freedom. You know, the things that made us great to begin with and toward a neo Marxist model under the rubric of what the World Economic Forum wants, which is this international great reset. Remember, he was not supposed to be elected in 2016. It was supposed to be 8 years of Obama 8 years of Hillary Clinton to lock it all in. And that didn't happen. Now, Mark and Crowley were up against a heartbreak. Where can we find you? And your podcast. Oh, thank you. So the podcast available wherever you get your podcasts. "Day. The big day of redactions to welcome somebody who may know a little bit about managing presidential papers. She's got her own podcast, the Monica Crowley podcast, Monica, welcome to America first. He encouraged so good to be here with you. Thank you so much. Well, look, first of all, you just started this podcast a couple months ago. How's it going? I will thank you for asking. It is going fantastic. It's called the Monica Crowley podcast. You can get it wherever you get your podcasts, Apple, Google, Spotify, stitcher, wherever. And do it three days a week, Monday, Wednesday, Friday. And I got to tell you today's show is purifier, like all of my shows are purifier, currently. Been on your show. I was purifier. I was fired. Absolutely, we're in. I can't wait to have you back. But yeah, please go check out my podcast because really we are in an existential fight for the country. And every show I do is geared towards saving America. Well, Marco Crowley, we were talking off air, which you can hear if you're on rumble. You should go to rumble and watch so you get the little interstitial stuff. You work very closely president Nixon following his departure from The White House. You understand about how presidents obtain and maintain their papers. What do you think of a redaction fest 2022? Yeah, you know, I've been very blessed, Kurt in that I have worked for two American presidents. President Nixon during the last years of his life and president Trump, when I went into his administration working at the Treasury Department, now I often say Nixon and Trump man do I know how to pick them or what? Only the most controversial presidents for Monica and I know no Warren G hardings for me. One of the things that Nixon and I used to talk about was presidential papers because the Nixon case is very interesting occurred and you will appreciate this as an attorney. So when Watergate happened, the government came in and impounded a bunch of presidential papers as part of the criminal investigation into Watergate. And then when Nixon resigned at all sort of became moot after Gerald Ford's pardon of him. But there were all kinds of papers that remained in question and remained in limbo because the government controlled some of the mix in controlled some. So it's a very interesting question that really hasn't been litigated. The way I think Donald Trump is now going to take this, I think, all the way to the Supreme Court, which is why I last week when he moved to file a motion on Fourth Amendment grounds. That this was a violation of his Fourth Amendment rights against illegal search and seizure. And this widespread warrant, this general warrant, which the Fourth Amendment bans. So I think you're actually going to see a case and I hope this is the case. So that we can litigate this and have it cleared up all the way at the top, which is what rights you presidents do presidents have to de classify to hold on to certain papers. Going forward because it's never really been litigated. I will say, you know, president Nixon after border gate, I mean, that was one hell of a controversy, nobody rated Richard Nixon come. Nobody, nobody showed up guns of raisin very early in the morning to try to gather top secret documents or claim claim any kind of sense that Nixon absconded with anything. So you never saw it with anybody. And all presidents have under the presidential records act. They've got about 12 years to manage their papers, work with the national archives that they develop presidential libraries. They've got about 12 years to do this. So my understanding and I'm not a lawyer and please correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is under the presidential records act, Donald Trump was certainly within his rights to be working with sharks as he was to manage his documents..

"Adam laxalt, welcome to America first. Thanks for having me. Oh, it's great to see you. The last time I saw you was about two weeks ago at the basque fry in Nevada and they eat a part of the ate a part of the sheep. That you're not used to eating. But I gotta tell you, I went and ate it. And I have now, I have now checked the basque fry box. So I hope that lets me in the club. You have to see it to believe it. I mean, it is, you know, we started that in 2015 since Nevada is one of the first four presidentials. There was no kind of marquee event and we had 7 presidentials come that first year. And this has just been annually a landmark event to have national conservatives come in and we get a couple thousand conservators from all over the state that drive in. It's the oldest, one of the oldest working ranches in our state and as you saw Kurt right there with the mountains as a backdrop, big beautiful Nevada skies. It's just there's nothing like it. It was beautiful. And look, I admire the way that you get top shelf folks out there, Ted Cruz was speaking on the same bill. I know that Ron DeSantis, who does not typically help people, came out and helped you because your navy buddies. You actually served in our military together. That's pretty incredible. Yeah, absolutely. And Ron's showing a lot of folks, how to get it done. That's for sure.

Rep. Jim Banks Shares His Initial Thoughts on the Redacted Affidavit

"Representative banks, welcome back to America first. Good to be with you. Thanks for having me back. Wow, kind of a busy day. Just wanted to get your initial thoughts on the redaction. And I would call it the affidavit, but it's mostly redaction. It's like they ran out of sharpies over there at the DoJ. Yeah, that's right. Somebody asked me a little bit ago if I had a chance to read it. There's not much to read. Laughable. It's basically notes at the bottom that explain why they redacted what they did, but it just goes to show that they don't want to admit that what they did at Mar-a-Lago was highly politically motivated. They have egg on their face. Once again, at this point, we should never give these guys at the DoJ and the FBI, the benefit of the doubt because they have a long pattern of political activities like this one that justify our suspicion of the political activities at the highest level of the Biden DoJ.

Kurt Schlicter on the Sham That Is PPP Loans

"Let me bring something else up because it's starting to tick me off. PPP loans. Designed to be forgiven. They sell an employer, we're shutting down your company. Your ability to do business because of this, this glorified cold. But we're going to give you a loan, and if you spend that money, this is part of the program. If you spend that money on payroll and keeping your people employed, keeping your company going, and you demonstrate that, we will forgive the loan. So these are loans designed to be forgiven. They're not really loans. They only become loans if you don't use them to keep your workers employed. Okay? And millions of us business owners took those PPPs and we kept people going. And I'll tell you, I'm very proud. My law firm employed and kept employed every single employee, not one of my employees lost a dime. During COVID. Me? Because I'm the employer. Hey, if somebody's got to pay, it's about to meet me. I'm going to bear the burden. If we're really successful, I'm going to get rich. But when times are tough, you know, when you're the commander, you know, you eat last, right? When I was a battalion commander, last few people got food on their plates. Commands are in major and me, and we were jostling to be last.

"I'm trying to make is that the American Dream was alive for me. But I am older than dirt. This is about the young people. This is about the future of America in the future of America is in danger. It's red alert folks. The red light is flashing. Student loans. Don't you want to help people who took out student loans? No. No, I don't. I mean, I want to help future potential borrowers by ending the student loan program completely. Now, I took out $70,000 in student loans. I paid back every set also paid for law school with GI Bill and working. And my life experiences led me to understand the solution to the student loan problem, which is payback your own loans. Okay, if you win our gender studies degrees, that's great. It's going to take you a while working at Starbucks, but you need to pay back every single penny.

Kurt Schlichter: America Is Run by Cultural Trust Fund Babies

"Okay, Kurt, let's jump in. I mean, so many things I want to discuss with you. You valde, world military, what did you call it, the political realignment? The political realignment. And that's part of the rise. Well, we'll talk about all of these things that will try through the next hour. But first, explain this subtitle. So the book is we'll be back. And it's got some great endorsements by me. Dan Gino, David Limbaugh, Jim Hansen, our body Monica Crowley. A whole panoply of real patriots. But talk to us about the four and the rise, map it out, give us some your report of the fallen rise. The Pinnacle was there in time and space at 7 core main at the victory. In 91. And 91. And we essentially agreed with Francis fukuyama that history was over. Liberal democracy had won. But in wool fell down, it was a pack gone. Everything was going to be great. We stopped trying. The problem with America now, doctor gorka is run by what I call cultural trust fund babies. All right, now the way I put it is everybody knows. Ford. And not a great person, but he put a car in every garage. He created modern manufacturers. Henry Ford. His sons, they, they built forward into a massive corporation. They gave us the Mustang, which is pretty awesome. My first car, 73 Mustang. It's a big bloated, ugly one. The third generation affords. You can't name any. They're probably parked in front of a crack house in a broken and Ford fusion with Hunter Biden. So what is the point you're making? Trust fund babies. They always fail. They always squander it. The World War II generation they beat Hitler. They beat the depression. Pretty impressive. The 60s, the people in the charge in the 60s. They changed America through civil rights, where they demanded human rights from angry Democrats, a theme that continues through American history. And they put a man on the moon. These are impressive achievements. And we have the present ruling elite that gave us Iraq, Wall Street, meltdown, and

"Wrote this on social media yesterday. I am among those calling for congressional hearings. I want to hear triumph the insult comic dog testify under oath. Yes, wouldn't that be something? You know, that's sorry, dog. Monica Crowley, I have to tell you, I don't know why. That guy, Robert smigel, that guy, gets under my skin, but they cornered me at one of the political convention years ago, and I ended up being on, was it Conan O'Brien? I think at the time, I can't remember, I think trying up started with Conan. But I ended up being a part of their huge comedy attack hit piece. It was very unpleasant. Yeah. No, I think I remember that, Todd, when they sort of cornered you and ambushed you on that look, they play according to their own rules. They do what they want, call their last night was trying to dismiss the whole thing. It's just jokes and my team doing their job. No, you were trespassing at the U.S. capitol. Which is what you were plastering the January 6th protesters for doing, right? Well, I'm not the president trying to cite an insurrection. Oh, come on. It is either break a law or you don't break the law. We either have rule of law or we don't have rule of law. And in this country, there has been a widespread widespread breakdown of the respect that we have for our institutions, but that didn't just materialize tots. That's a direct result of the fact that our institutions have been failing us. You can not have a healthy functioning republic when you do not have the equal application of the law. Lady liberty and lady lady justice is supposed to be blind. She's blindfolded for a reason. And yet now we have it's not an uneven application of the law based on race or gender or anything like that. It's based on your political affiliation.

Monica Crowley: Biden's Wokeness Is a Form of Corruption

"We've been talking about this navy training program that's coming out. They're creating a safe space for sailors who are confused about their pronouns and you just really wonder what in the world is going on inside Biden's Pentagon with this wokeness. It's nuts. Well, it's everywhere. And you know, it's a form of corruption, of course, because anything that takes away from the military's main mission, which is to protect the United States, protect the American people and fight and win wars and sometimes that involves killing the enemy, right? I mean, I hate to be brutally honest about it, but that's their mission. Anything that detracts from that mission is something that puts Americans further and further at risk. So you do see this happening across the board. It's not just the U.S. Military, but you're seeing it in law enforcement. You're seeing it across every institution you're seeing it in education. Todd, this kind of thing is happening everywhere. And it's meant to, you know, they dress it up as some form of

She is the former coach F of veterans for Trump and a colleague of mine on newsmax. Great to have you back. I'm so excited to be back. I love being in studio with you. So whenever I come into town, I'm pinging your team and I'm like, I'm here, I'm here. But first, let's just let's just talk about the big picture. I did a kind of spontaneous monologue to open this show about the last 12 months of the Biden regime. Give us your take. Let's get your balance sheet of the year of what was that movie the year of living dangerously? This is the year of living with senility. Highest inflation rate in 40 years. That kind of sums up a good stop. Good stuff. For highest inflation rate in 40 years, you had to work hard to get here. You had to really work hard and to do that in less than a year and less than a year stunning. You managed to make us have the highest inflation rate in 40 years. And last night on newsmax, we were talking with Monica Crowley. Absolutely, and she was talking about how difficult it is to reverse that once that starts. It can take a very long time to strategically get things in place so that your economy can sustain itself. So let's go across this Joe Biden brags about increasing wages by 4%, but inflation is at 7%. So essentially, this has become a tax on the middle class and the poor. That is the taxes that he doesn't want to talk about because your cost of living has increased. So that sums up your lack of energy independence. I think something's happening. I think the left, the Democrats may have had enough of Joe Biden. Is it possible, let's start with our team. Let's go reverse order from yesterday. Let's start with the newest member of the America first massive cohort we have here John the tell us is something changed or is it just say what's ever? Is there anything changed? I feel there's new winds blowing in the swamp. I think. But do you think the left? So the thing I'm interested in, do you think the dams have had enough of sleepy Joe? I don't think they can sustain any more of this. Now, the real question is, what do they follow it up with? What's the backup here? We've gone over that a couple times. There's not a lot there. Well, Hillary, come on. Wouldn't that be great? When you're pulling that one out of the bag, you know you're desperate. Okay, let's go to Eric Eric. Do you think he's already such a liability that they're going to pitch him? I think I've said this before all fair, but this is the first time I'm saying on air. I think they're going to hold on him for a little bit longer. They're going to weekend at Bernie's his political corpse through the midterms. Really? Yeah. You don't think he's too big of a liability for the midterms? He may be, but you know who's even more of a liability for the midterms? Kamala Harris. We've noted on the show that her approval ratings are even worse. She's way less likeable than him. I think they're gonna hold on through the midterms so that when they get crushed to the midterms, at least in the house, which we know they will, then they'll blame that on him and then force Kamal in after that because the crucial thing, as I mentioned, if she serves less than half of what his term would have been, she's eligible for two more. Seriously thing they want Kamala for two and a half terms? Absolutely. Why? She's everything that they've wanted, I think. She can control her just as easily as they can control by. No, no, no, but she can't get reelected. She got less than 2% in the primaries. What logic does that make to have her in there for two and a half terms? I mean, if they continue the voter fraud measures we saw in 2020. They always.

"America first. Welcome back to one on one with me, Sebastian gorka, and Monica Crowley. Will you just share with our listeners, the lessons learned or what you'd like to tell them after your experience? Because as my good friend Chris plant says who has the morning show in D.C., the aim is very simple. The aim is to prevent decent people from ever considering serving a conservative administration. So what is your message after you stepped into the arena as well and paid the price? Yes, well, thank you for that question. That was a very dark time for me. So I appreciate your asking. Yeah, originally, I was going into the Trump administration with general Flynn. I was going to be the strategic communications director for the NOC. And I was mercilessly mercilessly attacked with lies and smears and it was a relentless campaign to try to remove me. What I didn't understand in retrospect is that they were targeting me they didn't care about me. They were targeting general Flynn, and of course Donald Trump. So I was in the crossfire. But I also now know in retrospect because this was January of 2017 that they were targeting Flynn and now we all know that. And what better way than to remove the person who was going to be on TV radio and in print every day, defending Flynn and defending the administration's foreign policies, me. So they had to remove me to isolate Flynn in order to attack him. So they smeared with a pack of lies. And I will say that the lesson here is twofold. One, I was the first casualty of Trump to, when you go into government like this, you assume that everybody is on the same side and they're not. Yeah. It was a true wake up for me when I realized there were people at my rank deputy assistant. There's only between me and the president and the assistant to the president like Mike Flynn or Steve Bannon. So you're two ranks beneath the president and there were people at my rank Monica in The White House who detested their boss, the president. Nobody forces you to be a deputy assistant to the president. You're not conscripted. It is a political commission that you choose. So that's the definition of me for the deep state and we have to do our homework and we have to have a bench and God willing. I know president Trump, we win in the midterms if we win in the Senate and the House he will run and if we can stop election fraud, he will be the next president of the United States and then we need good people like Monica Crowley back inside the swamp fighting the swamp creatures. Monica Crowley Was the 'First Casualty of Trump'

"Welcome back to one on one with me, Sebastian gorka, and Monica Crowley. One, I was the first casualty of Trump to, when you go into government like this, you assume that everybody is on the same side and they're

A Clinton/Cheney Ticket in 2024? Good Luck With That

"Welcome back to America first. One on one with Monica Crowley. So here's the additional twist on what we were just discussing with Hillary. Hillary, please do it. Just run. There's floating the idea that this is too good. Liz Cheney would be the veep choice. And then you'd have the swamp the utter most swampy of the swamp from both sides of the aisle wouldn't that be just superlative Monica? You know, clearly nobody has learned anything from Donald Trump's success in 2016 all the way through his first term as president. And that is that the American people on both sides are sick and tired of the corruption and darkness of the swamp. They're done with it. With the exception of those on the left and frankly, those are the Republican Party who get a lot out of being part of the swamp. The American people have their rejected it. They're onto it. They're aware of it and they are rejecting it. So if the Democrats want to go with an all swamp ticket of Biden and Cheney or Hillary and Cheney or Harrison guy knows who else have at it because they're not going to have much success with

Monica Crowley Addresses the Conventional Critiques of Richard Nixon

"Let's return Monica. You said you're going to address the conventional wisdoms, the critiques of president Nixon. You knew the man you worked for him, please tell us the truth. So you laid out too that have been a wide circulation in pop culture and in history, which is he was paranoid and that he had a very dark side to him. I think both of those things are untrue. I will cite the famous adage Seb even paranoiacs have real enemies, which Nixon had real enemies. And many and many of them as an Ardent as the Senate and odd and anti communist, of course, he had a lot of enemies. Yes, he did. And you know why? He actually was the first modern casualty of the deep state. And I remember writing a column for the New York Post almost immediately after president Trump entered office warning him of the lesson of Richard Nixon, which is, you know what? President Trump, you were surrounded by the exact same enemies, Richard Nixon faced. They destroyed Richard Nixon because he handed them the sword. Do not hand her enemies the sword. And of course we saw what happened with president Trump. So the deep state

"What was it like to work at the highest levels of the Trump administration? We're going to talk to my good friend Monica Crowley now for a whole hour and then my monologue. I have a feeling I'm not sure, but I think something's happened in the left his hand enough of sleepy Joe Biden will get the whole team's take on today's America first. Portions of the following program may contain prerecorded material. This is America first, and here's your host doctor Sebastian gorka. Welcome to friends to America first one on one where we get the best guests to sit down with us for an hour on interrupted to get to the root of the real issues that matter not talking points, not little, 62nd sound bites, but the answers from those who know. And today I am delighted to have with us somebody who I'm scratching my head I can't even remember how we first met we've been pals since the get go former spokesperson for the treasury former assistant Secretary of the Treasury and all around great American Monica Crowley. Welcome to murder first one on one. It's fantastic to be here. So thank you so much and we took our way back. I can't remember the last time. Was it? Was it John bachelor? Who introduced this originally? I'm trying to remember in the mists of time. You know what? You may be exactly right that it was John bachelor who put us together. I think it is the master of the long form God bless John bachelor. I think you are correct. It was he who introduced us. Okay. We have to talk about so many things today, what you did in the Trump administration. This state, the sorry tragic state of the economy today and also your latest piece in the New York Post, we must discuss because I dearly hope it happens. But first, for those who aren't familiar with miss Crowley, will you please explain to millions of listeners and viewers across the nation where you came from what your background is and then how you eventually rose to the heights that you did in the Trump administration. Well, thank you so much, Seth. Thank you for having me back. It's always a joy to be with you. And thank you for that question. Well, I was born on an army base for which Arizona. The intelligence training center of the U.S. Army. Guys, it's not delightful, I'm making a joke carry on. It is the Intel hub for the U.S. Army and my father was there. And I was born there, and that's sort of informed the rest of my life. Extremely military America first pro America all the way from the moment I came out of the room. And then from there, you know, I graduated from college. I have a PhD in international relations from Columbia University, two masters degrees I have PhD, actually. And my first job out of college is such an underachiever. It's such an honorary. Carry on. Okay. Well, this is not going to help that characterization because my first job out of college. I worked with former president Richard Nixon during the last four years of his life and worked with him on his last two books and all of his speeches and traveled around the world with him and met all of the heads of state with whom he met. It was an extraordinary experience. And that when he passed away, I rode two bestselling books about my experiences with him. And then from there, I launched a media career and Fox News, obviously, for many, many years. Still on Fox News and Fox business and a radio career as well. And writing columns for places like The Wall Street Journal and all the Washington times Los Angeles Times Baltimore sun, Boston Globe and so on. So from there, I entered the Trump administration and served as assistant Secretary of the Treasury for two years. And it was the honor and adventure of a lifetime. So I'd like to say that I have been very blessed to work for two American presidents. Richard Nixon and Donald Trump and man do I know how to pick them? Yes, you do, yes, you do. Let's start there if we can. So you wrote Nixon off of the record. His candid commentary on people and politics and the other book that you must check out is a slightly differently entitled one. It's what the bleep just happened. The happy warrior's guide to the great American comeback, check out both of those works. Let's start with your former boss, the former president. In the panel plea of conservative presidents in an age. With just this week, sleepy Joe Biden in Georgia tried to take ownership of the first Republican president, Abraham Lincoln. I think he forgot that he was the first Republican president and in an age where you even see Obama tried to say yes, the gipper was great and they try and steal for their own heritage, Ronald Reagan. Just rewrite history, basically. There's one person who stands out there as this Darth Vader of Republicans. And it is a Nixon. And, you know, I'm so delighted to regularly have another presidential historian on the show lord black, who tries to write the record on who Richard milhous Nixon truly was. Would you share just a little bit of your experience working for him? And what Americans need to truly know about that president? Thank you for that question. But it's a really important one. And you mentioned Conrad black, I actually meant met lord black through president Nixon. We actually went up to Toronto in the early 90s for an event at dinner that lord black was hosting and we were seated with him and he's an extraordinary person. He is. It was Richard Nixon. And I have taken it upon myself voluntarily and with great joy in my heart. And I told president Nixon that I would do this before he died. To be his ambassador to future generations. So I really appreciate this question because you know a lot of kids are not being taught. First of all, they're not being taught a lot. But they're certainly not being taught Cold War history. American history after World War II. And Richard Nixon was the pivotal character. He was the pivotal leader for the United States in the post war period. We talk a lot about Reagan, Reagan was critical, of course, at the end of that period, but Richard Nixon really defined the 20th century in the post war period. He was a brilliant man, which even has detractors will concede. He was kind, which not a lot of people know. Because he didn't show it a lot. He was very generous, very funny, which he also didn't show a lot. But he was also a true visionary. And by that, said, I mean that he was one of the very few American presidents that we have had. Who could see what the world was going to look like 20, 30, 40 years down the road. And make American policy in the moment he was a leader to anticipate that world. So whether was to help with the Soviet Union or the opening to China or shuttle diplomacy in the Middle East. Richard Nixon had a view of how the world was going to evolve when he was long out of the presidency. And put policies into place to anticipate that world and prepare the American people and our allies for that world..

Lou Dobbs Could Not Have Anticipated the Catastrophic Collapse of the Biden Administration

"Is, of course, an icon. He's an American political commentator author. His latest book, the Trump century, how our president changed the course of history forever. Launched a new podcast. The man's a busy man. And he's not too busy for the Mike Gallagher's show. How you been, my friend. Never too busy for you, Margaret. I could be with you. It's great to catch up with you as well, Luke. Thank you so much for something that I know you're aware of, our prison fellowship campaign. I want to make a amazing offer that you've generously agreed to do. But before we get to any of that, we just got to talk about what it must feel like to be vindicated. You've talked about for years. The leadership of president Trump has a headline over at Fox News. Somebody that I enjoyed many moments with with you on the set, Monica Crowley, writing about Joe Biden's catastrophic collapse of American leadership. Lou as much as you sounded the warning cry, the battle cry. Did you ever think things would go so badly so quickly for the Biden administration? Well, I knew they would get the answer is I thought they would get this bad. And by the way, perhaps considerably worse. I did not think. Even Joe Biden could send us into a tailspin, this early in his administration, but then again, I had no idea that he would be this aggressive in such long headed policies and such perverse values as he brings to the Oval Office.

"They just went. They went down this path without any kind of Understanding comprehension or care for what the catastrophic results would be. And we've gotten lie after lie for the president on down and the rest of us are going to end up paying the price. You know monitor what it looks like to me. It reminds me of poker players who they put their money down to start and they decide. They're just going to play the hand out no matter what else they see going on and when everybody else's folded they're still playing their hand out they wind up losing. And that's what i think happened. Here biden thought that he could be the hero he could be the one of the four presidents that would shut it down would always be you know that he shut it down. If there was some complications he would take the heat for it but he never recognized how exponentially the problems became before they started to withdraw and we have a massive lands down. That's a really good point. governor you know as you know better than anybody when you are in a position of authority when you are a leader Part of the job description is being able to adjust as situations change and this president did not do that. Think of this to which i know is going to resonate with folks in new york metropolitan area after nine eleven. Which is that this administration and this president honestly believed that the withdrawal from afghanistan would be a huge pr win as we went into the twentieth anniversary of nine eleven. And that's why they stuck to the august thirty first date that's why they continue to stick to it as totally arbitrary. The taliban basically said okay. Your guys are going to get out by the end of august. They thought this was going to be a huge win for them. And look at it. Turns out the exact opposite and our safety and security is really on the line now more than ever most crowley thank you so much for your input to the american people and we pray for our country and we pray that things work out better than what's going on right now and and have a nice weekend. "Working out. So i would not put it past this administration made up of so many of the same people that they transferred a good deal of money to the taliban to in exchange for let us withdraw on our terms guarantee safe passage and guarantee a safe withdrawal for our troops and in exchange. We'll transfer all this money. That has not been reported yet. But i think a lot of people are speculating. That dot could in fact be. The case is mind. Boggling i mean what do you think any gut feeling monica with final outcomes going be you know. This is such a catastrophic failure in so many ways. You know i worked with president nixon as you know john during the last years of his life and i wrote a column last week for the spectator which is up on my instagram. At monica crowley underscore. So please go there and check it out. Because nixon and i talked often about the vietnam war and the fall of saigon and the way. The united states withdrew from that military engagement there. Obviously there are differences here but the fall of saigon and the fall of afghanistan do have some striking similarities and the the big lesson out of vietnam was the way you exit matters as much if not more than the way you fight the war and I it's incredibly frustrating and horrifying to see the united states. Make the same mistakes all over again particularly as we close in on the twentieth anniversary of september eleventh it is outrageous that twenty years of incalculable. American sacrifice looks to be for not. Because you've got a president and an administration who has made a choice. They have made a choice. You know. I hear a lot of people talk about incompetence and you certainly see tactical incompetence but at any point over the last two months including at this very moment the biden team could change tack. They could change the way. They're handling this and they choose not to so. This is a choice john. This is a choice to humiliate the united states. This is a choice to endanger american troops civilians and our afghan allies. And it is need choice. Return afghanistan over to the taliban isis al-qaeda china pakistan and russia. That is a choice. And you know what the united states is going to be a lot less safe as a direct result. And certainly those of us who live in new york and the area around new york city. We remember nine eleven..

"This is john. Katzman studios looser on i and governor david. Paterson hi guys. Afghanistan has a major problem. Not only do they have the problem with what's going on with taliban It looks like we took the financial system. He took it from the twenty first century back onto the picket century. Sixth century seventh-century. And we're this. Is monica crowley a member the treasury department and she knows a few things about this monica. How are you. Hey john hi guys great to be with you. Tell us we just took the afghanistan system down to the sixth century ad obesity. I don't know anymore. How are they going to function. How do you. What's going on well when you're dealing with international terrorists john. They always find a way to finance their nefarious activities. So nobody should be crying boohoo. Over the taliban and to the fact that the united states government has frozen the vast majority of their assets so there is a central bank and afghanistan the central bank of afghanistan that is still operating but now that the taliban is taking control the us treasury department has frozen the international reserves so that the taliban cannot access that money. Now it's about nine billion dollars to what you have. Now is the fact that the taliban can't get that money that's that's basically wrapped up in assets like us treasuries and gold. The taliban will not be able to access that however the taliban does have about two billion dollars which is what..

"But you know like nixon. Trump is never going to get credit for anything because trump like nixon before him is an existential threat to the ruling class outsider looking to smash the whole corrupt status quo. Which is what. Nixon was in the process of doing when watergate hit him and they took him out So it's sort of a very similar dynamic on when it comes to politics to me. Mike and i m sure you might agree with this. There are two things that are truly unconscionable. one is playing with life and death with the american people and to is playing with people's livelihood and when it came to the corona virus pandemic you had people who were reporting to trump lake. Dr fauci or we're playing with both life and death and people's livelihood shutting down the entire us economy and so on. And i want to know what she know when did email it. What did dr brooks no. When did she know it. What the metal. And when did they know. And what were they telling. President trump president pence and others in the administration who are dealing with a totally unprecedented situation flying by the seat of our pants. Because nobody ever seen anything like this before certainly not in recent history to everybody in the trump administration was doing be buried. They could flying in the dark and yet now we see that perhaps not everybody was flying in the dark perhaps dr. She knew more than what he was saying. And wouldn't it be nice to know that. What did he know. What was he telling the president. What was he withholding from the president. And why i think. The american people deserve those answers. Course they do and you know monica when i look back at the last year and a half. I've had the benefit of going sort of back and forth spending most of the time in florida in my home state And and part time in new york the difference between new york city and tampa bay. Florida is so profound economically. What businesses have been put through in new york. I mean it's it's it's beyond shameful and and the trouble is new. Yorkers are too blinded by their own bias and their own political ideology to even be be bright enough to see the difference. If i've watched businesses remain open in florida Dr- governor disentis. Who's been masterful masterful in leading the state through this pandemic. i hate to break it to you. Trust the science. The data shows that the corona virus numbers in in florida certainly weren't any worse appreciably. The new york new york didn't have some you know lock on how to handle this and yet they shut the practically shut the city down. It's it's unreal. Monica to be able to compare to a couple of states. Like florida and new york to one another get prompted question mike than were democratic leaders in this country trying to crush small business Deliberately trying to remake the economy by using the kovin Emergency pretext as an excuse. I don't know i'm just throwing that out there. I will say since. I left office on january twentieth left washington. I'm loved what i did. It was such an honor to serve at treasury and the trump agenda and president trump. it was a total honor and loved it every day. But i hated washington. Because i'd get out of there fast enough. But i came back to new york and it was like an unrecognizable city and then i spent a couple of weeks in florida taking some time off visiting france and it was definitely it was like we were in a different universe. Never mind in country because they have freedom and in washington and new york. Where i spent you know as the both of the pandemic working on the economic response and that was like a completely different universes felt like prison and by the way. It's still sort of feels like prison. It's only you know fifty seventy five percent to open it is. It is outrageous and all of these democrats should be held to account won't be they might be if the voters are paying attention if americans are paying attention because we gotta get this country back and one way to start is to get the house back in two thousand twenty two which is just around the corner. "I've respected monica. Crowley's worked for a long time of course She's been on television tv radio personality former assistant secretary of the treasury and his monica crowley herself put it to me when i first caught up with her. It's been a minute since i've had a chance to visit with the great monica crowley monica. Have you been taking. Mike is such a pleasure to talk to you again. It has been omitted. Like no time has passed. You and i are old and good friends and i'm just so happy to be here to. I'm grateful for your work because we need your clarity more than ever. It does feel like there's a massive backlash happening in america whether it's about dr foul cheesy whether it's about the border there show many examples of american sort of having their eyes opened and right now we're seeing. The biden administration tried to destroy the trump economic recovery. I saw your piece at the hill. And that's why. I wanted to bring you wan to kind of connect the dots. Let's talk a little bit about how it feels like. The biden administration is trying to sabotage. Not only the trump's success story but the country itself still the country itself. Yeah well none of this comes as to surprise to those of us who have had our eyes open for a very long time. Being propaganda media simply will not report the truth. They only report spin and lies and deception and promote a left wing agendas. So if you're only listening to that then of course you're surprised when you hear dr fauci has been a fraud and it's been covering a lot of details about the american people deserve to know or andrew cuomo with the nursing home data and so on I would say that. President biden is an extension of president obama. Right so this is essentially obama's third term when it comes to the economic agenda they are throwing into reverse all of this successful pro growth pro worker policies that made the trump economy so successful and such a thriving academy for all americans they're taking most of those policies and putting them into reverse for for a whole variety of reasons ideological political and also because they hate trump so much that they've got a reverse everything he's gotten even this stuff that has worked so we know that should be true and what made the trump economy so successful where four key pillars tax cuts regulatory relief Warfare reciprocal trade deals and unleashing our energy sector. And in just a couple of months the biden administration is reexamining all of those things in order to push them back and replace them with a more collectivist socialist kind of model so tax increases more regulations on businesses of all sizes. They are reexamining. The trade deals although they haven't made any movement on those yet and look at what they're doing to the energy sector literally day one he kills the keystone pipeline and the eleven thousand jobs. That went with it. So you're seeing the the movie that we saw. Before in the eight years of the obama biden. We know how this movie runs. And we know how it ends. It ends west more sluggish job creation luggage out wage growth sluggish overall gross greater income inequality and jacked up deficits and smothering debt. So we've been down this road. We before we know what doesn't work but they don't care mike. It's not about policies that worked for the american people. It's about remaking the us economy reengineering relationship between the government the economy and the individual and again geared toward a more socialist kind of model. Now i want to ask your big picture perspective and comparing the biden administration with the obama. Ten your we're only you know we're in the first year of the of biden administration. Is it just me or is there a much more massive pushback backlash whatever you wanna call it to the biden harris agenda than there ever was with the obama and i think it certainly building because again the obama biden agenda is the very recent past. People remember this is not ancient history and now they have a point of comparison with the four years of the the trump agenda which again with pro growth and pro worker based on economic commonsense and the trump economy delivered for all americans. This was a really critical point. Mike that of course the media has buried but the democrats including joe biden for decades have talked about their desire to want to reduce income inequality reduce poverty and reduce unemployment particularly for certain demographic groups like african americans hispanic americans and so on in four short years. Donald trump actually did those things. He reduced the wage and wealth gap in the country. And he did it. Because those at the bottom end of the income ladder house faster and more significant wage growth than those at the top and so the gaps started close under president trump. He reduced poverty to record lows particularly for the demographic groups and unemployment was at record most for demographic group hundred trump so you have a very significant point of comparison for the american people who may not be economic experts but they know how their their individual and their families live improved dramatically under president trump with some very basic common sense pro growth policies. And now they know well. I didn't have it. This good under obama and now biden is off and now my life is getting worse. My economic situation is getting worse and they're putting two and two together and their understanding and that's why you're starting to really see after bit of a honeymoon period for biden. You're starting to see the backlash grow. Visiting with monica crowley former assistant secretary of the treasury tv radio personality Great friend of the show and avars over the years. Monica you mentioned the media you've been on sorta sides of that of that. I'll Yesterday when it was earlier in the week when it was revealed that The through these fouled she emails that were released through freedom of information request from buzzfeed that foul. She was being congratulated for downplaying. The wuhan lab connection this whole this whole accusation of of the united states helping to fund. Wuhan do you know that they're the at the white house. Press briefing none of the white house press corps. Not one of them has to shane. Gould question about the foued. She emails the corruption in the media. Today monica is as bad as i've ever seen it and i've been at this a long time really quite stunning. And when i served as assistant secretary of the treasury for affairs in the trump perjury department undersecretary mnuchin. I was dealing with the press every single day. And what i can tell you. Is you know you. You and i have been career talking about media bias. But what is incredibly evident now. And what's different Versus the media. Bias against ronald reagan and richard nixon. What's different now in. The trump era is the level of activism and intensity on the part of members of the propaganda media. So they're no longer there just to protect an agenda. They are there now actively serving as cheerleaders four leftist for their agenda for the democratic party. And i'm gonna tell you. Mike i mean. It was a daily battle in the administration daily battle but a healthy republic cannot sustain itself cannot survive without an honest media. That is interested in only the truth. We no longer have that and that makes it a very dangerous moment for this country. I remember like it was yesterday a number of months ago. I had an argument with an acquaintance of mine. Who was really taking president trump to task for trump's seemingly his his disavowal sort of tony pfau chief kind of pushing him aside taking him out of that spotlight when when when president trump was in office. now it appears that it's quite possible that trump his once again vindicated. How many times do we see this happen. It's almost it almost feels spiritual or other worldly to me. Monica how many times president trump was fully and completely vindicated. And now it looks like his his concerns and cynicism about tony tony foul. She may have been right all along. Donald trump has been pretty much right about pretty much everything and unfortunately so many people in the country are not aware of that fact because we have a corrupt media he's simply doesn't report it and their hatred of donald trump was just and remains off the charts. So you'll never get credit for anything you know. I started my career working for former president. Nixon at mid career with president trump. And i'd love to say. I really know how to pick on my only the most controversial presidents for monica..

And it was right when the George Floyd protests and black lives matter, and everybody was in the streets in New York, and they're never coming back to the city that I hadn't seen in months and months, and it was just dark and devastated. Devastated in every way, and I remember coming into my apartment Mark and I hadn't been here and like six months like I said, and I closed the door behind me and I burst into tears in the dark. I was crying and it was because the city that I love so much just looks so shattered. It was unrecognizable now, however, is really nice to see the city bouncing back New Yorkers of the most resilient people in the world. Well, now the only thing is we got a Merrill race coming up if we could get rid of these crazy progressive politicians and get a real mayor, But what do you think? I don't see anybody that Z I like courteously. Well, but I mean, on the democratic side, I don't see anybody that I would really trust to you. It's really unfortunate, you know, you think in a city of what is it eight million people that we could generate candidates that would be responsible on the issues that we we care about the most star quality of life crime, public health, public safety. And yet, you know, some of these Democratic candidates. There are better than others. I love Curtis to and there is the Republican primary. But this city is so deep blue. Look, anything could happen, right? I mean, you look at after all those years of left wing rule and David Jenkins. We produce Rudy Giuliani every once in a while New Yorkers will just have their backs up against the wall and say, I'm not going to take it one more second. I'm going to try something new and different has to be a moderate Republican. Like Rudy and a big personality, like ready, But Curtis has those things and you we've got Fernando Matteo is well, you never know in New York, but if the city those goes down of radical pass again like we did with de Blasio, I fear first future I really do. Well, good. Good points, Monica Crowley. Now the other thing is Joe Biden will be meeting with Vladimir Putin. And this doesn't sound like a great on paper. This doesn't look good, slow old man against a ferocious Putin. What is by need to do in that meeting, And is he capable of doing it? Well, I don't have a lot of confidence in the president to be strong and tough with the world's worst bad guys, including Vladimir Putin. Um, this summit they need to cover a lot of ground. I think there's a real opportunity to deal with Russia. I mean, obviously, Russia is engaged in a lot of malign activity in Syria, Middle East and elsewhere. However, there are some differences that divide Russia and China, and there may be an opportunity for the president. If he's clever, and again. I have very little confidence in this. But if he in this foreign policy team are clever to try to drive a wedge between Russia In China so that we could sort of do the flip of what Richard Nixon did, which was used China as a zoo counterweight against growing Soviet power. Now we've got China on the march. And would it be nice if we could perhaps not line but create some kind of cooperative agreement with Russia to try to pull Russia away from China trying to isolate China as much as possible? But again, we're talking about a very elegant, sophisticated foreign policy strategy, which I simply don't think that President Biden is up for. Well, Monica Crowley. You were there with President Trump and brilliant minds like Steve Mnuchin and that these kind of guys But you look at this crop today of Tony Blinken these air like old you know, hack bureaucrats who never think outside the box. So what hope do you have for these guys negotiating Yeah. You know, the Trump administration was full of private sector folks who would build businesses and hire people and met payroll. It was a fantastic dynamic cabinet and all the way down throughout the government, just really people who loved America enough to want to serve not served themselves. Serve the country They love. Right now. You've got the swamp back in action, and you just see these tiresome people like you mentioned Anthony Blinken is their secretary state. Nobody even knows that right? Who knows that Tony Blinken a secretary's Day and and worse..
