"Dahmer told us they expect expect great things. So we'll see about that Other serial killer story. If i talked to an executive slash competitor would be competitor for net flicks. They say people wanna work with us. I just did this with With the head of Amc the other day People want to work with us because it's curated experience and we can work with them and when we release something. It's a big deal and netflix is like a walmart. It's just a big pile of stuff there. You don't know how to get through it all you talk to talent. They say that when you put your show on netflix more people are going to see it than ever before. And it's by far the gold standard for getting your stuff seen even if maybe they're the niceties aren't quite there like working with an hbo or showtime to the executives who tell me that that netflix is a walmart. Do they believe that or is that something. They just have to say allowed. I mean i think they believe it. There's a lot of shows that so talent when talent goes into it. This talent always assumes this thing that i'm doing is going to be a giant success so the of course everyone in the world can watch it. So where can my giant success find the even bigger audience at everywhere else and bright. Now having having a buzzy show on. Netflix is the thing that gets you seen talked about like nothing else there. I mean the disney's is are catching up in a way. Hbo so has the nation But netflix creates this sort of overnight phenomenon like like no one else. And and it's global. Yes netwo- end it's and everyone assumes that talent assumes that will be the fate of whatever new thing they're working on. Chances are much more likely that when the on netflix and i think the executives could see this. No sent that that. There's this new amazing show. They worked on is gonna fall beneath. The cracks is not going to explode in popularity and become the thing that that two years later people look back stumble upon and say like. Was that a show. When did that come out that get here. Yeah i mean. I guess both things can be true at the same time. I have told you privately. I really enjoy writing Because it is both knowing and has the right amount of acid that i like And i'm wondering whether this is something that you think is specific to the fact that you're doing this in a newsletter for subscribers as opposed. You've written a lot of places but this is not a trade publication. it's not the new york times. Its own thing. And i'm wondering what your experienced writing a subscriber only newsletter for hollywood insiders has been like how it's affects your. I mean it's just been tremendously liberating if he do any writing about hollywood for the trades or any a. I've written for everything of my time from yahoo to gawker to To the la times. And anything you write about. Hollywood is like trying to get a appropriations bill through congress. It's like you've you've got you've got so many people you can't upset gin and deals and understandings and everyone is gonna call and yell at you and it's it's it. It is by the time the story makes it to the page. You're lucky ten away. You originally thought of is out there and Doing a newsletter which is all just you know entirely funded by the subscribers. I just write whatever. I think when i first started doing it i had moments where i was like. Whoa i'm not allowed to say that the ceiling will fall in up and everything and i had to remind myself. Oh yeah you're we're still allowed to just write what we thinking this country even about hollywood. You're doing a substitute now. Prior to that was survey monkey presumably. You're not sorry. Monkey mail chimp. Some kind of mongia presumably the audience is the same though right like the people who who would yell at you or pay people to yell at you when you wrote something in a trade or an l. a. times or a a yahoo. They're the ones reading you and paying for you now as a as a newsletter writer. So what's the disconnect or maybe they're not our different audience. No it's it's i i would say. Orleans ninety percent start entertainment executives the differences they have no leverage over me. I take ads. That's her fallen over transom. But i don't. I don't solicit them in a small part of my my budget so it i don't care if they cancelled when it never never have conversations about them And beyond that if you're running for trade the number of things that studio can threaten you. With by withholding their their star from recover withholding their executive from cover not giving you the snoops not muffling your people the junk. It's not laying people at the hearing taking the ads away taking the it. It is so Now they can say they'll they'll cancel their subscription and the that will cost me ninety dollars Which i'll gladly refund anybody. Who wants their money back and And that's that's all they've got on me and it. It's amazing that i started doing it. But i was. I was braced for the the calls of people screaming at me. Which is what you get when you work at a trade when you write a story about a deal like if you put names in the wrong order it's like the fires of hell opened up on you and They don't even bother on yell at me now because they have nothing to threaten me with so it's not my imagination at the model actually creates different content selling stuff for subscribers even though this same readers that they are in the trades allows you to do something different absolutely. I am back to The origins of journalism where my bosses my readers and and no one else the readers. Something valuable to them is the only thing i have to think about. I love it. "Encouraging at home is somehow a practicing observant Roman Catholic. My city. Well, yes, I get it, I guess. Yeah, and they're yes, Bill got blessing. And the second thing is, um, when I'm needed Against I'm not against pants. Um, but what? I can't understand the rights President Mike Pence did when there was an abundance, clear abundance of evidence of fraud. And the election that put a bottom in there, you know, as president abundance of evidence why I can't understand why Vice President Mike Pence certified the election candidate. This is the reason according to the Constitution, and according to federal law, he is not a decision maker. He's like a clerk. Simply tabulates the electoral votes and reads the results in 2017. Joe Biden did the same thing announcing that President Donald Trump had won the election, even though there were objections filed by Democratic congressman against against Trump. The role of the vice president is that of a clerk. It is not his substantive role to determine whether that there was fraud or not. His role, according to the Constitution, was to be a tabulator of the numbers and announced the results. He had no other power. Oh, okay. Thank going. I got that clear because I didn't have no power zero. In fact, in fact, that thank you. There wasn't one Constitutionalist and I've read the 12th amendment and also the Electoral act of seven of 18 87 that sets forth the role of the president of the Senate. In this case, the VP is always the president of the Senate, and that role is to tabulate the results to add up the numbers and announced the winner. He had no subset, substantive power to do anything other than that. And thank God it's begun, and about a week or two ago, the Legislature's in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Georgia, all Republicans. With means and methods to exert their own power to say, what is it legitimate absentee mail in ballot and what is not. Which gives the court system sufficient time to review whatever occurs in those states by the rules in place in 2016 Trump won the 2020 election going away. By the rules and place on Election Day of 2020 because of the lack of the legislatures to exert their constitutional prerogatives. Biden won the election. So we have to have legitimate elections where the names in the identities of voters are known. So hopefully those states will exert their constitutional power and actually change the course of the electorate in 2024 to make sure we have legitimate balance. And maybe that's the reason the Democratic Party once trump unable to run because they must think he would be buying in 2024. And by the way, very likely. I don't know who's running against, but I voted for Trump in 2016. I voted for Trump and 2020. And if running in 2024, Very likely I'd vote for him again. Now I don't know us. But it is four years away. He did such a great job is our president. He needed a second term to solidify everything that happened. Because the rules have changed, I think unconstitutionally, but there were 60 course to disagree with May that Biden legitimately won the election, and I hate to hear from God fearing Americans that what happened on January, the sixth was justified. I hate that kind of talk. There's no justification for murdering in cold blood police officer Sick Nick on Capitol grounds. None. Continue with more bill coming in the great American with you. "There's no other reason. This is what I'm getting from it last night. Okay. They want him up there because there's more money up there to be made. That was the narrative last night because they didn't say, hey, let's go to well. I Well, think I think you you should. should go to one sixty and fight this guy, or you know, fight this top twenty top twenty five got no last night. They were saying he needs to go to sixty last night. They were saying galore. A good fight canola is going to be there Jacobs is going to be there. Charter was probably the name that we heard most other than galopin, bro. They probably fuck and throwing the Karrada Galeano come to the dome. We'll get you the Hymie Mongia fight. I'm Oscar I believe it was like whereas Thursday, they will like. The mcgeough versus Djamil Charl down to Houston with canola in a Jamaal Charles. Oh, headline and how and here's the how do you know that maybe they're going to keep on fifty four. But they keep saying they're gonna go when six bring all these names to build him up. Even maybe doesn't go to six just a a whole kind of promotional spilled L E my go to sixty. He's a big boy, maybe can alot can yourself. Any advantage say that Eddie Eddie Gomez Gomez at fifty four nicest short, you know, they got shitty don't they will. But it's Russia Deoras. Listen. It's funny that Ron said that because listen, I'll tell you what usually happens, you know, especially with golden boy, it's funny because when you get fighters in a situation like this a lot of times like the press conference, they're spinning this narrative. Well, you know, he's a guy that could definitely move up and fight. So and so and then at the way in they'll say something like, well, you know, he he made the w-. Way. Really, well, so we're going to keep them here. And then after the fight may he fought so good. I guess he still move down. Like, there's always these different statements that they're making every single day of the presi bent. But that's not what happened. That's what was so weird to me. Aaron was that every single day the press conference the way in the fight the post fight. It was one sixty one sixty one sixty one sixty from everyone from the top to the bottom. I talked to a guy I was gonna mention I talked somebody golden boy, very low on the totem pole. This isn't like a guy in the know. And he we talked because we know each other. And even he was like, yeah. When he goes to one sixty next like, it's like the whole copay knows. You know what I mean? Like this guy knows. I'm like, whoa way. He's going to one six years. We is. And he and he's asking me like is if this is common knowledge, I'm like, listen, you weren't there. Like, it seems like everybody there knows that he's already. A done deal at that division. I'm gonna do it though. So what is going to have them vacate the belt, I'm guessing, that's I didn't watch the volcano overall house or ver ver Johner Virgil tease over. If you just want me to run. Report from that fight listened. It was a great fight. It was so much better better than I thought it would be Rojo seemed to not have an answer at times. He started off fairly strong of Zo can't came back. A definitely outworked him outpace them. It looked like he wasn't hurting the middle. But for whatever reason robots couldn't find these moments to exchange with them. But they will has definitely gained some momentum back. It was very weird. Because I had it won fifteen thirteen for Rojo's..

"And what is the biggest difference being with top rate this time than the first? Offers in other promoters. It was a poor them. They kinda they kinda worked same with Mayweather promotions. We've kinda close to be of course, be like directly little different, but it was damn gonna boy harboring. So there's that's kind of like only five promotions that that are big on that could you know, that could make. I mean gets a lot of fights and print out there like that, but proper and godlike public. I mean, they know how to build five, and they have the the biggest, you know, like track like third and fighters OJ repression. What's your second? What's different with top rank this time than the first? Oh, yeah. You know, they're they they're treating you better pay me better. And no, I feel like I'm appreciate it. So I mean. Business. They have found that the ESPN hill where they keep their five active, and then finding a lot of fun as well. So they have a lot of possible back to that could be made in afford. They have like we hear the big thing that were they could pay the fighters good. And and people next to have a lot of have a lot of hard. So I know is Daniel, okay. Then let me go. So Daniel, obviously, when you signed with fluid Floyd was in the Robert Jim ally, he was pursuing Mikey. You ended up getting with fully instead, but you left probably Garcia. What was the reasoning behind that your dad was always part of the training? You know, he was always training you along with Robert. Well, what was the reasoning for you leaving Robert or when you signed with Floyd? Call the ventures really just. Probably ventures. I mean, my contract ended with and Dunkin and rob here that I have my manager and the camera imagine trying to resolve this year and commodity. He was also that contract ended with them multiple contract and property, so we just chose to go the way we will working before more with only Iran, huge big might be like, Mike and Mike, and then Robert and they're moving over here riverside. And then how we end up working more. You know, sometimes I was gonna talk and having training out there, but just more conscious. Causes winters your author like then my three year, and you know, for me making that we had all February. So many kanobi connotes trying them now. Day. My dad always train me when I was with. Curry? Because that's where that was my next question. Definitely one last question for me. But before we let him go I'm motives, I g no saying talking talking to. I see you in the booth are very, oh, Mario Mongia got gay bars. Now, would you just playing around? And or or are you are you really that guy when it comes it in bars. I didn't mess around. I just like in there. I have friends that are real good. Then they rather than they they'd be like like that. Just a lot of my friends have studios thought it's like like, you go hang out, and and watch them work. You know, there's fine for me. For them. It's amateurs to see like hundred of incoming raptors like that. Put in work. You know is like just like scenario like to be. So what would you say? Oh, you like Harry, oh Galilei Carioca too hard to find a good karaoke spot though. But I I was gonna ask you that. You know, you was gonna say son. I have my own mush in my house to oh. There you go. He is down. Then there you go. Gotta find out one. So I wanted to ask we had a few top rank prospects and fighters on, you know, the show, obviously, I say we I gave her Florez we've had Jamal herring. Just a bunch and especially now with this ESPN deal. They are given a trajectory..

"So for dissolve on that possibility struck the idea for Oscar de LA Hoya to start really thinking about as tech a stadium. And I've only heard fights mentioned in this hundred something see stadium into Mexico. I would love to go there. So now they can build mum Mongia Cannella to as Teke amended in what I'm saying. But it doesn't mean that it's right now request nece, I posted something it says is promoters main events managers. Shelly finkel. And of course, he was trained my word oke or SIA so back then had to be Lou Duva not Kathy had to be the husband. Oh, yeah. Yeah. That I wanted to do this. But. Yeah, absolutely. I mean, I think this is still a fight for Hymie wound to have another developmental showcase fight. He's huge compared to the guy and knowing the fact that he's not related to the other news, kind of leaves you little bit less hope for this guy. And this is just one of those things where at that point. It's just how Hymie moon Ghia will look in the fight is he gonna just make this look better and better stepping up. You know, when his performances is going to have a little more tight defense is his offense going to be set up the things that we kinda criticize him in his previous fights. So hopefully, we can see those developmental things in him. So that we can go and get behind him at one fifty four because many people at first and probably still pick him as the week is one fifty four champion. I don't know his style, you know, his style if he's problem. It's it's definitely it's definitely a fight is not saying the easy fight. But at a point people. So you know, when you fought Liam Smith. It's I don't know. I mean, you think that the percents in still that he's the lowest champion with Harrison winning the upset. I was thinking I don't know if that makes them Lowe's hanging fruit at this point. We just want to say that I and maybe still debatable. Because you know, we still got heard there and heard so I guess I guess Harrison would be the only one that we were kind of debate, right? Yeah. And again, just to add to the McGee. I see someone in chess McGee was gonna fight your Jian. I remember they were trying to get him to fight your because again, the thirsty four hundred sixty pound opponents, and you know, I hope design for promotions who still involved with them guide improperly men don't let he tried to take that on short notice to at one point. And that's what I'm saying. Like, I think he's gonna end up getting in there in a bad spot. And he only twenty two. He is not you know, his shouldn't be no rush. If I'm right about the age, it shouldn't be no rush at all. Man. Let me go check. I know he's pretty young though. I mean think about again, and this is where we go back to gave Lord seeing you think he's twenty this look at that think about bring sell me how many fights how many defenses would Jamie Hymie Mongolia? Have if he was on top rank before he fought heard or somebody look at ask about this ask about this just for Scott quit after his fifth, title, defence you birth. The rebellious Ramirez stilling fight nobody other than Jesse haute. And he fought him twice like bra. You don't got a good point. We've gotta Russia. Look, Bob, Dole, rush, no Mexicans. He built his Mexicans and Oscar, I hope is just talk. I hope he's just linking, you know..

"I mean, a lot of has to do with networks, man. And that's why ESPN is going to be successful. With rather top rank is going to be successful with ESPN because they have what age B O were wasn't giving them an A. It's casual eyeballs and be all that extra programming to run these guys through, but let's get back on track. My my Keith Thurman. Okay. So I got Keith Thurman by nocco. I'm going there, you I wanna put you gotta right. I'm cool with that. I'm cool. I don't think you gotta eat crow. You shouldn't say about Menaka you. you do if you put bet money by knock out in the yard of. So yeah, do you. Do you only put by Astor mind? Joseph in Texas says Mikey started with top rank too. But again, another true oil another disgruntled employees because you see not everybody wants that top bring diet. And that's why Mikey left. He's like bra like, I won't shit. There's gonna make me legendary and he left, but did they make him into the star that PBC the everybody wanted. Mike was star. When he was with top ranked though like his biggest fight. That's Orlando Lido Roman Martinez. Like, you know, he was just looking really good. But they put him into a position where he was at least highly like one of the best free agents at that time. If not the best religion wasn't a free agent, bro. He had to sit out two years where you know what I mean? That you know, people like Floyd were seeking after everyone would seek an everybody wanted him. And he was getting that you know wine and dine treat they wanted him because they see the skill. But not because he was a ratings guy or anything like that. That's true. No that that's fair. Yeah. I I don't know. It's tough. I mean, I think you gotta get some credits. Top ring for Mikey for sure. But he his his is a star that hasn't Fulbright bit your them credit. I said, you definitely give them credit. But like I said there's some people that don't want the diet after right after a while. Like, listen, bro. I'm tired of juiston. Can we get some meeting? My like, you're absolutely not wrong. A real quick, Mike. I want him by stoppage to. Oh, yeah. I don't know. They're to be a knockout or but I think at some point the referee is going to waive his hands before the the the last round. Because Termine punches in combination. You know what I'm saying? It's just we don't know who's back. So I'm not gonna put any unnecessary pressure on my boy one time. Like, that's what I said. I'm picking them to get the win. I want him to get the stoppage because I know he wants to make a statement. But like two years two years. He looks good. I was in New York City yesterday. He looks very in shape his faces. Nice and thin. You know, he looks good. So we'll see if it translates into the ring let's move onto the dissolve card. We got designing golden boy bring it on Hymie Mongia whose facing Takashi six nine little brother Takashi in new way for the WB one hundred and fifty fifty four pounds title, bro. The faceoff pictures. We were talking about gave him this dude is about as tall as Gaber Florez who Mongolia's by right? Like what the heck? But this is what they do again, affirm Nando. All just because he's in a way. No means Takashi. That's the issue though. But this is what Hymie needs right now, golden boy needs Hymie, and they're trying to expose him to the public. And you don't want to put them in a dangerous fight. But I guess I'll preference all that with. Hey, Oscar said that one day he would love to have canal oversses, Jurmala Charle and Hymie monkey versus Germanic Charl on the undercard. I think he said does yesterday on his social media how serious he is. I don't know. But we see the dissolve on looks like they mean business when it comes to make the big fights or the good fights. They made you know Jacobs. You like, that's we didn't expect that. Right. You know, we all flirted with guys like we're kinda morning. There was a freshly brewed McAfee coffee. He was made with..
