"Will be Bill Schmidt. Great feasible. And Dick Monfort. Another thing that stood out to me today. If he is the guy in the organization. And I don't mean this as a slight necessarily to him, But it's gonna come off that way. If he's the best they can do internally. Then I am even more steadfast in my position that the right guy for this job permanently. Is not employed by the Colorado Rockies. He just feels like And if it is him If it is him, then His suspicions and worst fears are going to be realized because people already said when Greg feasible was promoted that great feasible is just an extension of Dick Monfort. He's yes, man. He does whatever Dick Mumford asked bills from it kind of came off that way, too. A little bit. So if Bill Schmidt gets the interim tag lifted off of him. At the end of the season. Then it will be completely Dick Monfort. There will be nobody else. No descending voices, no peers. Nothing like that will be. I'm making all the decisions. Will tell Greg what to do on the business side. I will tell Bill what to do on the baseball side and it will be all me which is not the direction that we thought the Rocky should go. They should not double down on Dick Monfort. They should Should be the other way, where he takes less of an active role. But only time's going to tell that I wouldn't say today was my first impression of Bill Schmidt because I've been on plenty of those draft zoom calls where he's met with the media about draft picks. Over the last.

"Wrote their stories. They thumbed out their tweets, and they left. Every Nolan are not related headline that is from a publication that is not based in Colorado. Is about Nolan in the Cardinals. Are they world? Serious contender. Um How good is Nolan going to be all this kind of stuff? How about the Rockies anymore? And it's not surprising, but you know, I try to find the positivity and things Yes, I'm trying to Doctor says I should do that more. I tried to, But you know what? They're gone. It's on us. That Turk said it earlier when he called in It's up to us. If we want change. We have to Cause that change ourselves. And it's not just about laying our Rockies jerseys. In front of the gates at Coors Field. It's not just about coming on coming out angry tweets. It's not just about me. Almost, you know. Blasting a vein or something yesterday. Talking about the Rockies assigned could be enough. And there are people who are truly giving up on the Rockies all together and we'll and we'll never come back. And that's fine and now will help. Certainly with the cause, but there's so many of us left. And I won't call myself in here. That just can't quit this team. Just can't Ryder die since day one down since day one. That's what a lot of us are with Iraqis. And deep down. We love this organization. We don't love dick Monfort. We don't love Jeff. Bright itch. But we love this team. Our team. What we need to do. In order to try and ensure That the Rockies will have a brighter future. Is we have to bleed them financially. That's the only way we're going to get this done. Patrick said it when he called in. During the first hour. If you love the Rockies. You truly love them. You cannot go to games. If you truly love the Rockies You cannot buy Rockies gear. You can't do it. Dick Monfort cannot see. That his behavior is being rewarded in any way. That's why it has to do And you know what When change actually happens. We can pack Coors Field again any even the fans that left and said I'm completely done with Iraqis? I will never support them ever, ever, ever. They can come back. That's fine. We'll welcome him back with open arms..

"You've been at the bottom of your division. You have taken what was once the one of the best minor league systems in baseball. And now it is. It is like old Mother Hubbard's cupboard like there's just nothing in it. The Woody Paige laid out all of these things all these things that we've been saying and ask Dick Monfort the question. Have you thought about firing Jeff Bright it And have you thought about firing yourself? For a sub standard job of operating the Colorado Rockies and the first thing Dick Mom for did Was Take umbrage. Seo. Even the premise That the Rockies haven't been well run over the past couple of years. So the answer to all those air? No. Um, you know, I I like Tonto. I look at the same publications about all the minor league. Teams and you know, I Trevor story was never in the top. 100. Charlie Blackmon was never in the top. 100. You know, One of our issues in Colorado, be quite honest is we really don't you know? For whatever reason. Maybe it's because They're not going to rank pictures or or because they know they're gonna have to picture. I don't know. I don't think so. I I've been taught over time. Do not pay attention to that. I see our farm system. I see the what we go through to draft players. I see our development people. I go to all our minor league teams. I see the work and effort that we put into all of this. Um, So I guess if I can, I'll disagree with some of those comments, but no. I have not thought about firing Jeff. I have thought about firing myself. But I have not thought of about fire and Jeff. Then do it.

"Your superstar player stew for two years over the direction of this club? And every time you had a chance To reach across the proverbial I'll I guess that's more of a political term, but we'll use it here. Reach across to Nolan are not. Oh, To assure him that better days were ahead that this was just a little You didn't do it. And maybe he got frustrated to the point that he was going to use his opt out. But at this point seeing what the Rockies got back in return Would have rather seen. Nolan are not all opt out after this year. Because you're paying the ST Louis Cardinals. Have Nolan are not on their team. You don't have to pay him a dime. You got back Austin Gamber. And four magic beans. One of these guys hit a buck 88. In the minor leagues last year. You got back nothing and you gave everything. The ST Louis Cardinals. I think I speak on behalf of all Rockies fans. When I say you should have let him opt out. Because in that case, some people might actually think Nolan are not always the bad guy. Right because you held on to the very last second. And you didn't trade him for a bunch of garbage. You held out. You tried to see it through. He took the opt out. That would have been a better result. Than this. 5 to 29872. That is Not even the tip of the iceberg when it comes to The absolute verbal diarrhea that was spewed out. My Dick Monfort and Jeff brightest today. And this was not a press conference. Mind you This was a bloodletting. And in this world where some people in the media are vilified. I think if you're Rocky's fan, you should be very proud. Of the media because they went to bat for you today and one guy locally that deserves Some extra kudos is Woody Paige. Woody Paige had the best question of the entire press conference. The press did not hold back today. They were professional. As you expect them to be, but they did not pull punches. They did not lob softballs. And I say they because I had a meeting and I couldn't be on there. As I'm sure other media members were in her and regretted it. But there were. There were some media members today that were Doing God's work. And you'll hear much more from that bloodletting coming up a little bit later on in the show. I don't want to make this about three hours of Dick Monfort and Jeff Bright is because they don't deserve it. They will get plenty of time. But there are other things I want to get to And one of those things is my first guest. Today. He is Toni, Pauline. Is an NFL draft expert will take a left turn a little bit. Talk some football after this. Chief Buccaneers Super Bowl 55 coverage from Westwood One begins Sunday at noon. Kickoff at 4 30 on extra sports 1300. Welcome back Dr. Time Sports. Ryan Kauffman with you, and I am joined by my next guest. If you're looking for NFL draft knowledge This is the man to go to Has a terrific podcast on the believe podcast network. And he is Toni Pauline joining me right now, Tony. Great to have you back on the show. How are you? I'm okay. Thanks for having me back. Yeah, my pleasure. So you've been doing a little bit of a sleuth in a little bit of reporting lately on the dish on Watson stuff. You could save us all a little bit of time. Just go ahead and tell us where he's going. And then we can. We can move on with our lives. I don't know that anybody knows at this point where he's going. I mean, I said it to senior ball. Smart money from insider says the Jets of the front runners. I've heard I also heard the suitable he prefers Miami. And you know recently within the recent, there's two people are kind of hedging as to whether or not he's going to be traded because you know, Houston really wants to keep it. They said that I don't know that anybody's gonna want to pay the price. It's going to take to bring in tow haul into Shawn Watson, especially when you saw what happened this weekend with the Jared Goss. Matched average rate. So There's no there's no definite so I mean it could be the Jets. It could be Miami. It could be. He just he just stays in Houston. I'm curious. You bring up the trade with Matthew Stafford in Jared Goff. What was your perspective on that deal? It was bizarre. I mean, it was it was done is a great trade for the Detroit Lions, but from the Los Angeles Rams point of view. I mean, There is little margin of error for the Los Angeles Rams. If this trade doesn't work out, it's gonna put them behind the eight ball for a long, long time, because they're not going to happen. You know, they obviously don't have draft picks. That they gave away young quarterback. I guess the situation with the coach of the the conflict with the country's just untenable they had to move on from him. It's a very risky move for the Los Angeles Rams, who Giveaway. Huge amount draft picks to move up and get Jerry gab so You don't mean If this is not work out for the Rams, they will be in the hole for a long time. Were you, Jared Golf fan coming out cow! Woz. I thought he was going to need some work is gonna need some hand holding. I thought he had great upside, but I absolutely did. Like Jared Goff, Toni Pauline my gas. He is the host of believing.

"He's basically irresistible to people for the same reason. You can pretty much only work at a carnival. He is not going to prove or disprove about himself or to himself. He has no shame. It's cool, bro. I'm woke. Now. Here's your host, Ryan Kaufman. Is there a football game this week? I can hardly tell because our lives have been wrapped up with this. Nolan are not a trade and I told you yesterday We would continue to talk about it because at some point, Dick Monfort and Jeff Bright Ege would speak and speak. They did today, boy, did they say a lot of words? Lot of words over the course of about an hour. Earlier today. And there is one thing. Above all else. That the Rockies and Dick Monfort I want you to know. If I had my brothers, I would rather have Nolan Aaron Otto, but it was no lynch choice. He wanted to move on. And you know, I I've speculated over the last year. What? Why? On dive talk to Nolan a lot about it over the last year, but The fact remains that I think he just felt it was time for him to Seo. Try something else out. This is all on Nolan Dick Monfort. Over and over again. Today reiterated that it was not the Rockies intention. It has nothing to do with the pandemic. It has nothing to do with his relationship with Jeff Bride H or the promises the organization made him and then did not follow through on. Nolan wanted a change of scenery. But then That's kind of weird that he said that because Um as Maybe Dick Monfort is not aware of No. One ARN Otto spoke. Today because he had his own. Zoom. And listen to what he said when asked about his relationship with the Rockies, and whether the souring of that led to him wanting out everything shipped. The rocks is just fine. You know, I think Listen, I'm gonna speak here and talk about The bad things. There's no There's no bad things. It was great. I had a great time in Colorado. I loved it there. You know, Like I said, I did the best I could. There have no regrets. You know, I just didn't work out. The last few years has been tough and Context. Like I said, there's a good big move. That's just part of this part of the game, unfortunately, but it is what it is. And I couldn't be happier to join this team. But, you know, Yeah, the last few years I've were tough in Colorado. Um and, uh, you know, You know, I'm not really part of the team anymore, and I don't have a whole lot to say about where they're headed and where they're not. You know, I just know that I'm joining a great team and I did the best I could there and just keep it moving. So I don't know a little cryptic, a little evasive admittedly from Nolan or not know when it comes to the Colorado Rockies. Doesn't totally sound to me. Like he demanded to leave. Doesn't sound like he was somebody who was overall, extremely unhappy with the team to the point that he would hold his opt out, which he did not give himself Jeff Bright Ege put it in the contract. Doesn't sound like Nolan are nado. Was 100% dead set. I'm leaving. Maybe he's lying. Maybe Dick Monfort and Jeff brought it. You're telling the truth. I'll let you decide whose side of this you're going to be on. I get paid to give opinions. I'll give my opinions and I'll just tell you That I do not believe a word. That came out of either Dick Monfort or Jeff? Brightest his mouth today, not a word. Jeff Bride, Ege. Was asked What led to this How could this have happened that just two years after signing Nolan are not O to a lifetime contract. That he could be now a member of the ST Louis Cardinals and Oh, by the way. The ST Louis Cardinals per the trade agreement will not have to pay no one are not owe a dime this season. The Rockies are trading No one are not. Oh, To the cardinals, who are going to get no one are not a services in 2021 for nothing. For free. Here's Jeff Bright Ege. On how things have come to this overtime. Sometimes relationships change. And this is not an easy necessarily an easy industry to be in people are competitive. Hand and human beings change over time. Our feelings? Um what's important to us on And you know it. It's Zanotto always a straight line, and it's not always simple, and it's not always easy, but I think my point is that at the base of all of this, this relationship was Uh, a strong belief that I've always had a Nolan ever since I first got to know. But that's not the issue. The issue is not what you think of Nolan are not of the baseball player. We know you think he's a good player. We all think he's a good player. We are everyone. Leaves that Nolan are not always a great player and that the Rocky should have signed him up to the long term deal. That's not in question here..

"I have not thought of about fire and Jeff Monfort, referring to his support of Rockies general manager Jeff Bright Itch, he says. Once a Renato said he wanted out of his contract last year, they made the best deal possible. Act of the matter is we honored what Nolan wanted to do, and we made what we thought was the The best thing we could do at the time was now officially a member of the ST Louis Cardinals being introduced to the media there this morning, and he had this message for fans in Denver. I got a lot of love with Rocky fans, You know, they've always supported me throughout my career, and they got special place in my heart. My families are, you know, I think I would tell him is that I did my best and I give it my all and that's all I could really do. The Rockies payed ST Louis $50 million and got a left handed pitcher and for minor league prospects for Aaron Auto. Two FBI agents were killed on the job this morning in Florida. They were shot while serving a search warrant. Suspect is also dead. The government will start shipping Corona virus vaccination doses next week, starting out with a million doses going to 6500 pharmacies. That number of doses will that increase for the next three weeks, we will provide a minimum of 10.5 million in total doses per week across all jurisdiction, and the White House current virus response coordinator says up to 40,000 pharmacies across the country will be getting the vaccine. Colorado's governor Jared Polis, is our state will get some of that shipment. Probably somewhere in the 5 to 10,000 range that will be going directly to pharmacies in Colorado 50 pharmacies, he says. That will start next week and then the following week still get even more, he says. Next week, Coloradans age 65 up, will be able to get vaccinated along with educators. Another mass vaccination event is coming up this weekend. With this one focusing on underserved seniors, and all of those appointments have been filled. Walk ups will not be accepted. Colorado Avalanche Information Center says three people are missing following a large avalanche near Silverton above 11,000. Ft happened yesterday. "Jeff brightest. You're thinking like I can't even for us unless they just said. How can we unload as much salary as we can, in one fell swoop. I know. Let's get rid of Nolan. That that's the only thing they did. Would save money. And you don't get to save money. If you're a major league baseball franchise owner if you want a penny pinch sell the team. Just sell it to somebody who wants to win. And you know, Rockies fans are so great that they fill the park year after year after year with the hope that maybe things will get better. There has to come a point where fans say enough is enough. They have proven they're not serious about this. I am not going to support this any longer. Uh and I wonder how they're their season. Ticket sales are going after that announcement. I You know, Here's the thing with season ticket holders and I, you know, we we have the season tickets that the station has, and I sit in those and I talked to season ticket holders while we're there. These are the most dedicated Baseball fans you're gonna meet. I'm talking about the season ticket holders who go to a lot of games, not the ones you buy it for their business so they could give the tickets away. Those people are die hard and At some point, it's got to start taking a hit, and I don't know when there's a lot of people talking about boycotts, I think would be really interesting if And I'm not one to ever recommend boycotts first, so I don't think they're effective. You know, I just don't unless you want to boycott forever, and I love baseball. Yeah, I want to go see a winning team. So what are we gonna now? When we go to a baseball game or regions could say what are you doing tonight? I'm gonna go watch the Rockies lose. Cause that's what I used to say about the Rays Games. We would drive up to table what you guys doing this weekend? We're driving it able to see the Rays lose to sit with 14,000 Yankees fans and watch the Rays lose. I've already been that fan. I don't wanna be that fan anymore. And we have too much to offer here. I mean, good gravy course Field may be old, but it is aging beautifully. I think that's really my friends who come from other places. Are are blown away. That course field is as old as it is, and it's just a fantastic, phenomenal place to see a baseball game. I don't know. I'm very, very frustrated. And you know, somebody said we're not alone. You're not. I know, I know. I know, By the way, this is super funny. Dave. Did you see this? Somebody edited the mantra Brothers Wikipedia page today, and I actually grabbed it because I wanted it. I wanted to keep it and posterity. This is what it says about the Mon for brothers as if this was this morning. I haven't checked to see if somebody fixed it yet on their Wikipedia page, it says Charles came on for and Richard Montford are. Unfortunately, the primary owners of the Colorado Rockies Major League baseball team both grew up in Greeley, Colorado, are sends to Kenneth Monfort, previous owner of Monfort of Colorado Inc. A clown university and distributing company that was acquired by ConAgra Foods. Monfort is managing general partner, chairman and chief executive offer officer, while Charlie Monfort is the team's other general partner and clown. So this is not being received. Well, let's just say By the fans. Not at all. And I don't think it should be. I don't know what to do. Like I said, I don't lot of people are asking on the text line. What do we do to get new owners in general managers? You can't force the sale. And by the way, you guys there's nothing that says If they did sell the team, the new ownership would be any better. Maybe because they were new and they wanted to win. Like when the guys bought the Rays. They're the new and they're not super new now. They've owned it for I don't even know how many years But when they first brought the Rays, they invested a lot of money and didn't get a lot of returns. And now they're all that kind of pulling back a little bit. You don't buy a sports franchise to make money unless it's the Dodgers or the Yankees. I hate to see it one of the sports columns that I linked to you today. And I don't know who it was. It might have been Kistler. It might've been clear have no idea. One of them said something to the effect of you know if the Rockies negotiated better contracts with radio and television, I'm like They're not in L A or New York. They don't have. We cannot compare what we have to L. A or New York. It's a ridiculous comparison. We're not the same size market wise. We cannot support Ah billion dollars in TV and radio franchise fees. We just don't have the support of the fans out there to do it. So it's a ridiculous, you know, Mandy every season in Major League baseball, you'll find a team that doesn't have a lot of money but really cares and makes deals and brings their own the ST Louis Cardinals. Is that who you're talking about, because that brings their own farm players up and and develop stars. And they win pennants and their competitive and they don't have any more money than we have. But they have better management much better. We have the fifth highest attendance in the league. The fifth highest attendance in the league. We're not. We're not the Kansas City Royals. For God's sake, you know, we're not the Montreal Expos. I know they don't exist anymore. I'm just using that as a point. It's not like no one loves this team and no one buy. I mean, my God, you guys have an entire section of my closet. That's purple. All of it. I almost bought a purple Jeep. My hand to God. I actually was thinking about buying a purple Jeep..

absolutely losers like that exist in yet officers one Forsman all across the country every single day they put on that uniform a target on their backs the bad guys they do each and every shift no we might not make it home that night no we we may not make it home the next morning but they do it because they love the community they serve last week here in Washington state we lost a deputy I mean what's W. right before Christmas it appears county sheriff's deputies name was Cooper Dyson it was only twenty five years old this is a guy who had a wife who is pregnant with their second child a baby girl do you in just the next few weeks this is a guy who leaves also a three year old son behind right before Christmas he was rushing to get to a domestic violence call in parkland Washington's very close to the common Washington on the way over there to help his fellow deputies deal with a twenty two year old whose name you should know me see is Dayton Craver who cops allege which try to get a shot gun and I needed some help have you guys seen heard that call try to rush to get to them unfortunately in that rush to get to them he got into a car accident and he died at the scene yesterday there was a memorial here in Washington state it's something that comes out of this is a reminder that there are not as many lunatics like the audio I just played raising all cops as **** turns out there are way more people like you and I who actually support our law enforcement may come out in droves support officers were killed in duty I wish they didn't have to do that what's an unfortunate reality of policing deputy David David rose was there yesterday he trained Cooper Dyson so I'm not just as a good officer what a good person he loved his wife and his son so much I was terrified we get excited about having a daughter this man was one of the most honest open and caring people I have met in a really long time and he was fully committed two is job like almost every other deputy and cop out there this is a guy who would sometimes work sixteen seventeen hour days I would call on the home as a family man you don't have to solve every crime of every hour of every day then open up to me that damn explained he was working so that he could save up enough money for when he won a family they believe to spend time with his daughter who is about is about to be introduced into this world without the ability to see her father and it was a quote that was shared by David rose yesterday deputy rose a quote from general Patton it is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died rather we should thank god such men lived and today I am thankful for such a man thank you so think of law enforcement officers like this guy like him I can men and women who act heroically want to serve every day instead of a stupid prank gone gone wrong in Kansas meanwhile there is some controversy within the Bernie Sanders campaign this according to a report kind of funny report if I'm being honest come from the washing post we already know that Bernie Sanders hates Amazon and I think it is important or to take a look at the power and influence that Amazon house the old greedy evil capitalists corporations killing mom and pop shops here in Rhode Island here in Delaware here in Oregon Amazon is evil we know he believes that and yet this report coming from The Washington Post that cites multiple sources quote the send a rep did within the Sanders campaign earlier this year over its purchases of large amounts of supplies through Amazon that's kind of funny you know they don't spend that much money on Amazon only so much a campaign can spend on Amazon but spending some money there and some folks within the campaign world like this is kind of the quote the left problematic isn't it according to the report internal protests juror response from the seniors Sanders campaign official who said the alternatives to Amazon also had ethical issues I mean I'm sure every company has ethical issues yeah the especially from a social perspective you can find any other company there's not any other company the my office supplies through but you don't the man I was on a regular basis and the funny thing about this they gave AT the Sanders campaign give a statement to the washing post they didn't deny anything isn't the set a bunch of nonsense late in the night the story here in Seattle we have a social city councilman who's made a name going after Amazon which is a local company for us and I found out that she was spending money her campaign was spending money buy from Amazon she's empowered she campaigned on how he treated for Amazon she shops there normally something like this should indicate to the person who hold this belief that Amazon is evil that maybe you're wrong maybe they're not as evil as you believe maybe they're not as bad as you claim and yet they still hate on Amazon publicly this is be legitimate or the appear to be I should say do as I say not as I do it's not just hypocrisy it's an empty talking points totally empty talking point choose the real nice big businesses not necessarily because even believe everything they say what they know that's susceptible younger voters believe it it's a huge group of the population that they're in a bad position bad position financially because of the evil companies like Amazon there's no personal responsibility whatsoever it's evil evil Amazon they're taking advantage of you they realize that that's actually keeping them in power interesting fight going on the kind of place to this happening right now in Florida Democrats they're basically trying to fight against the term socialism kind of story at local ten dot coms out of Miami we talk about how local Democrats are dealing with all the terms socialism delivers to their party to their campaigns all the slaying of socialism delivers them to a large party people not just like Sanders Elizabeth Warren AOC and there's a part of the story that kind of jumped out to me it says what Latino voters nationally have lean democratic Republicans in Florida continue to find strong backing in the nearly two million Floridians of Cuban men as well and in the cargo in origin voters whose deep skepticism socialism has been shaped by Latin American authoritarian leaders Democrats are trying to shake the label check the label seems like your bracing it more not raising more extremism why is it that these Latino voters in Florida are going with Republicans what do you think that is it's because they personally experience or at least have a family member that experienced actual socialism they know what doesn't work they know it's dangerous the no it's not the best interest of our country it was a survey recently so showing this rather significant uptick in Mullaney Oles embracing socialism I saw a lot of blue check marks on the Republican side over the last several days talking about a tweeting about it thirty six percent of millennials polled say they approve of so of communism which is up significantly from twenty percent in two thousand eighteen another ball from October seventy percent millennial say they are somewhat are extremely likely to vote for socialists candid we're trying to figure out why that is they don't actually know what socialism is they're told what socialism is what people are taking advantage of them they're given a very specific you know what it is that's not a reality it is out there promising a thousand dollars a month for nothing Elizabeth Warren is promising to pay back all your student loan debts Bernie Sanders is defined it this way what democratic socialism is about is saying that it is immoral and wrong but the top one tenth of one percent in this country all almost ninety percent almost over almost as much wealth as the bottom ninety percent that it is warm today in a rig the economy the fifty seven percent of all the income is going to the top one percent it's rigged you were a victim and socialism will help you socialism will solve your.

"Terrible pitching coach Monfort when a fire and they re assigned him loyalty is a nice thing to have it is admirable but in professional sports you can't let that loyalty get in the way of results and bring it back to the discussion of what would it take for you to jump ship and leave your team for another one I look at the Colorado teams the Rockies are the one that I think most people would identify let's say you're a fan of all for the major teams avalanche nuggets Rockies Bronco the Rockies are the one that quite obviously could lose people's trust and have over the years the difference between them and the red skins is that the Rockies have very little history to rely on very little history for people to think well you know grunt right now it's not great but I remember the good old days there are no good old days for the Colorado Rockies not really so I think it makes it even easier to give up a team like the Rockies tend to give up a team like the red skins wall even though they have been very bad over the last twenty years there is still many Redskins fans who remember a better time a great time actually I've told the story of how in college I started to sway on the cheat some like I don't know you know I got into being a fan because of Marcus Allen and then the chief said this great run of running backs priest Holmes was one that I was a big fan of they have Tony Gonzalez there are always players that I could clean too and get their Jersey and there was a time where I came to the realization am I a chiefs fan why do I support this team no matter what or did I get into it because of a player into what did I stay in it because of different players I just found new players that I will routed for and then after some long thought and introspection I realize that you know what there's no other team out there but I'd rather root for than the Kansas City Chiefs so my faith was shaken a little bit but then I realize I can't the only route would be to become unaffiliated in terms of my fandom because I was gonna stop watching football but there was no other teams that I looked and said that's what I want that's who I would root for if not the Kansas City Chiefs I'm curious if there's been a time where your fandom has wavered a little bay in do you think you would ever get to the point that these Redskins fans are being mentioned in The Washington Post would you ever get to that point or have you five two two nine eight seven two will I be back to wrap up our number one next on exports thirteen under.

I guess I shouldn't lump way Davis in because he was he's been better than those other guys Mike done. These are all free agent pickups, by Jeff bridage. They have all not been good in Desmond. Obviously, the highest profile one, and he was out of the lineup today, but he continues to struggle at the plate. And we're going on a thousand to twelve hundred days of this with the Desmond being garbage. Daniel Murphy has not panned out now. I'm not I'm not in the same vein as Woody. I'm not saying let's turn around and trade. Daniel murphy. I think that his hand injury has had something to do with his struggles. But the fact remains that this is another free agent pickup. I Jeff bridage that we thought was going to be great. And it hasn't turned out that way. So at what point? Do we start to have a conversation where dick Monfort, it's willing to open up the pocket book is the right guy writing the checks and I'm not saying fire Jeff bridage? I'm just saying. Can we expect him to spend dick Monfort money wisely? Two.

Wants, visit a famous prisons, here expecting the prisons conditions right in Russia he's a, great man a friend of our country of course has not really good relations with Mr Putin is seen, as sort of his personal enemy but I don't know Mr. McFaul For the country like the guy and I think he's a great man so looks, like all this. Bad things not really. Making good progress for countries trying to, make Mr Paul responsible or something we'll. Idea at least they can use it even against the use of. Smartly but let's say because countries do not trust each. Other, well you, know I. Wouldn't you. "With monfort segment officers from multiple agencies stan ross joined serve two years ago on a dry race board near his desk at city hall he's sean what's labeled the vicious blame cycle of violence stand talks in a language used a lot by people who work with trauma patients and violence survivors he explains that violence is cycle and it starts with family parents raised in violence pass down behaviors that beget more violence even kids who want to break that cycle have a hard time doing it mentally because human beings are generally afraid of the unknown he says trying new behaviors come electron introduce somebody to food then they'll look at don't like it you talking to the mom of a preschooler so i'm i'm right there and they've never taste it just looks a certain way and you fixed in your mind you don't like it so once you put it in your mouth remember i said i don't like this and other words change is hard even if it might save your life and i think that some people listening to these stories can be like how was getting shot through the spine not your wakeup call how are you selling drugs after and so you you deal with people who have trouble getting out of the environment why isn't there some magical lightbulb over your head at a certain point when he was shot and he survived and then he's learned how to cope with it and then he still went back into an environment where some of his peers see we get you will and others might stop developing because of you know i feel like i'm stuck well no you're not stuck you have to struggle to establish the truth we all out here most of us are struggling to establish something but when you know that there's a into that particular goal then there's jillian you're struggling because you know you're struggling to establish some and that's a that can be a motivator for some of us i see something i know i gotta go through this and i'm going to go but you have to see it but you have to ask stan met will about a year ago through cincinnati's positive influence team in organization he co founded in two thousand eleven the group largely focuses on reaching out to young people to reduce violence but in arm of it also works with men and women reentering society through the federal probation department in the group is very supportive but what it really is about as restorative justice it is about davila jr and we encouraged will in terms of seeing the bright light that was any will have a lot of i think emotional four to two in the sense of being able to keep a pretty good positive attitude in the midst of his disabilities however he's aware of the surroundings that sometimes causes a person to be like a what you call their particular what is it the lizard is it to that can turn like if his brown turn attorney brian chameleon yeah there you go you know sometimes people turn into those chameleons and we'll does that i think to protect himself for survival but he sees the best sentiments so sometimes he's conflicted this chameleon description resonates with me because i'm one hand will is charming and funny like when he talks about his two kids night and day i got.
