"To land sea and community. Right today. we have the best of both worlds deal is alive. Conversation recorded in front of a live audience about solving the world's most meaningful problems. and yes. you are correct in saying that. This is a really broad topic. Ron yes i know but hindsight is always twenty twenty especially into an screening lund. Okay not funny anyway. Here is what i'd like. You know this is a live conversation. That happened on club house. And i would love you to join us but the good thing is that we captured the conversation amongst some amazing humans. That were on this panel. Here is a bit of a list of some of the achievements. We had a gentleman who cares about the planet and sustainability and who's next special season one viewed over seventy million times. We had someone who's intent on focusing on the healthy awards Has generated over hundred million dollars in revenue for the clydes a human that works and each succeeding on creating a waste free future. We had someone that focuses and works on helping. Lead is build trusting teams. We had a that helps clients deal with grief of five-time bestselling author that has multiple businesses at his very successful entrepreneur and we also had a coach that helps clients breakthrough mental blocks amongst other people that were on the panel whose voices we couldn't have here today in The recording. But i'm not even gonna start highlighting all the achievements because it isn't about them as much as it is about the conversation we are having and i think you should join us and we would love to hear your voice. I would love to hear voice on club. House live and we alive usually every monday morning. Nine am sydney time eight. Am brisbane time right now. Brisbane is on now daylight savings. But i do multiple events there. An amongst other live events. I host on plaza should kind of follow me at rawnsley and also fine and follow the club At the psychology of entrepreneurship because We've got a club and we've got over almost four thousand followers. So that's amazing. So follow us on clubhouses on the psychology of entrepreneurship club. So this is the best where we can talk about a topic. And i can invite my spot friends and a conversation develops so. Here's the highlight. Reel off a long ninety minute conversation that we have. And we start with darnold downloading the co host of the netflix series down to earth with zach ephron and. He's talking about self awareness. It's so interesting even presenting. This is a question solving the world's most meaningful problems at i. Love it at the same time. It's you know there's overwhelm of even trying to consolidate the complexity ring a meaningful conversation. Because you can go down so many different rabbit holes. But i think that. Can we solve all these problems right here right now on this conversation know about what we can raise our level of consciousness and awareness. And and honestly the you can. You can point at many different. You know words to point at this. But i think the awareness and or consciousness as well as obviously it relates to unconsciousness in within our own individual spear is probably the greatest Thing i would think is the most powerful to change the world chain the clinical problems into opportunities solutions so i think the human spirit the human consciousness the the very conversation we're having about poking at this idea that you know look at look at look at the world there's there's a lot of unconsciousness there's also a lot of consciousness around people making some horrible decisions in the world right now and it's and it's affecting all of us so i think then it goes back to how we respond individually And and we gotta take care of our house and our house is the things that we can do to respond the responsibility. We can do to take care of our own happiness our own sovereignty and there's a lot we can do there Water power food shelter. Self-awareness kindness optimism Creation creativity coming together in ideas concepts in creating actions within that and so i think everything falls from that. Everything is created from that self awareness from that self responsibility Because that gets us up and out of victimization you know. It's i love this idea that it's so easy i to fall victim of all of the news. All of the social crowd. That's out there and really it's about let's form and cultivate an ability to form solutions for what we are seeing as issues now more than ever and so i think that If i could sum is it to say that that i'm talking about right now is probably the greatest thing from my perspective that we can do to change the world's problems that is self responsibility self care and then that creates a whole different serendipity magnetism opportunity creativity joining together with like minded people to then solve the details of life and that is water power food shelter. People are suffering. they've suffered before covid. They offer after covid. They're you know they're all kinds of different things that we've ultimately failed that because people are still dying of of things that they don't need to as our global humanity so anyway i'm just gonna pause it there but but the human spirit the self responsibility the man in the mirror. The woman in the mirror. Is i think the place in the most powerful place to start. Yes when you change the way you look at the world the would you look at changes. I think that's a wayne diet coke that i remember but going from that point my friend yeary l. came Jumped in about health being the most important and understanding our own health being so but well. Here's yuri this is something. I firmly believe for every fiber. My being and i think it shows up in how people respond to donation pledges in charity fundraising. Where people think well. There's no way my donations going to make a difference But they've we've also seen with a lot of research that if we position those campaigns as your donations going to help this individual all of a sudden the the ability and willingness to give is much greater because we feel like we're making impact so the the biggest area were been focused. The last twenty years is obviously health and now we hope health entrepreneurs get their message people but.

"We had hoped that he might accept our invitation. If the president it has no good response to the allegations then he would not want to appear before the committee. Having declined to this opportunity he cannot claim that the process is unfair. The president's failure will not prevent us from carrying out our solemn constitutional duty. So they're going ahead with or without the president or any lawyers warriors that might represent the president in these proceedings. Sounds like it will probably be without. They're just GONNA move forward. But even as the judiciary committee moves head. Remember that one of the interesting things about the way. The process is being conducted. This is that the intelligence committee which conducted the investigation into what the president did the main part of that investigation and that committee says that even though they have prepared their own report on then handed it over to the Judiciary Committee and said you should get started on this effectively. They themselves of admitted that their own investigation isn't over that they still expect to receive more evidence and tonight there's some really interesting movement on that too not sure. This has received a lot of attention tonight but I find this absolutely fascinating when the impeachment report was released by the Intelligence Committee earlier this week all three hundred pages of it. Section one was titled. The president's misconduct section too was titled the President's obstruction of the impeachment inquiry. The whole thing is about the president's president's behavior the day the report came out. You might remember US running down how this sort of subheadings of the report they alone give you a really concise tidy. Maybe kind of dramatic seventy eight plot rundown of what the president's going to be impeached for the president's request for political favor the president removed moved anti-corruption champion ambassador. Marie Ivanovich the president's hand picked agents began the scheme. The president froze vital military Harry assistance the president conditioned a White House meeting on investigations. The president pressed presidents Alinsky to political favor. The President's representatives ratcheted up pressure on the Ukrainian president. The President's security assistance hold became public. The president's scheme unravelled the president's chief of staff confirmed aid was conditioned on investigation. Right it's that that's the children's book version of. What president trump did what he's being impeached for? This is the subheadings of the report. It's very simple but dramatic plot with a Nice Day Newmont at the end where they all confess but you see there you see you. You see the theme there right just looking at it as a visual object you see the theme in that tiny plot summary the same two words start every single one of those sub headings. It's all stuff done by the president or directed by the president. Section of the report is about the president section. Two of the report is about the president. It all the subheadings. The report about the president there is a laser focus of the whole report on the president's specifically the president's behavior of the president directing the scheme the president perceiving leaving benefit in this scheme and because of that there's one specific part of the impeachment report that stands out from all the rest of it that I've been thinking about all week since the report came out trying to figure out how important this is going to be in the end and how important this is GonNa be for what comes next and it's the sentence that doesn't start with the behavior of the president from page nine of the report right up front at the beginning quote our investigation determined that this telephone call between president. Trump trump in the leader of Ukraine was neither the start nor the end of president trump's efforts to bend. US foreign policy for his personal gain rather it was a dramatic traumatic crescendo. Within a month long campaign driven by President Trump in which senior US officials including the vice president the secretary of State Eight chief of staff the Secretary of Energy and others were either knowledgeable o of or active participants in an effort to extract from a foreign a nation the personal political benefits sought by the president. The impeachment report is really all about President. Trump's specifically really all redounds to him but the investigators do go out of their way to say yeah he was running this operation but this this little Benetton Rainbow Squad a very senior government officials they were. What's the phrase either quote knowledgeable of or active participates in this scheme? The White House Chief of Staff Mick. Mulvaney the secretary of State. Mike Pompeo the secretary of energy who just suddenly quit his job when his name emerged in this scandal. Rick Perry and the Vice President Mike Pence impeachment investigators going out of their way to say they either knew about it or they were part and parcel of this game tonight. Here's something you might remember that there was just one person from vice president. Mike Pence's office who testified in the impeachment hearings so far named Jennifer Williams. She's career Foreign Service Person. She was an adviser to the vice president specifically on Russia and Europe and at the start of her public testimony right remember. There was a little low key drama with her lawyer. Watch MS Williams. I WANNA to ask you about a phone call between Vice President Pence Presence Alinsky of Ukraine on September. Eighteenth you on that call. I was and did you take notes of the call. Yes sir. Is there something about that. Call that you think may be relevant to our investigation secure as we previously discussed with the committee. The office of the vice president has taken the position that the September eleventh circuit the microphone. Kosher tune as we've previously discussed with both majority minority staff of the committee. The office of the vice president has taken the position that the September eighteenth call is classified Jennifer Williams on camera. There's her lawyer you're not and then talking into the microphone. They went back on back and forth for this on this issue for a little while eventually what they arrived at As an agreement basically and not public hearing was that Jennifer Williams wouldn't to answer questions about that call in the public hearing because Vice President Pence had decided that call was classified but she did agree on advice of counsel that that she would give a written statement classified written statement to the committee about that call house. Intelligence Committee can handle classified information right. That's sort of what the Intelligence Committee Mitty is. Therefore the agreement with Williams was that in this public hearing that's classified. I can't talk about it but I'm happy to answer written questions about it in writing in a classified annex to my testimony I will submit that so we saw that little agreement unfold during her testimony. Jennifer Williams has apparently since submitted that written submission that classified submission about that part of her testimony. And apparently it's very interesting. The only reason I haven't seen it the reason I say that is because the intelligence committee has tonight right sent a letter asking sort of advising vice president. Mike Pence that he needs to declassify this matter so the public can see what she just testified to in that written submission really check us out in this letter sent to Vice President Pence tonight the intelligence committee chairman. Adam Schiff says this quote doc. In accordance with relevant regulations and procedures for handling classified Information Jennifer Williams your Special Advisor for Europe and Russia provided a classified supplemental submission into the Committee on November. Twenty six in unclassified. Cover letter to that submission. Her Council explained that quote in preparation for the November nineteenth hearing which she testified in Public Ms Williams reviewed certain materials that caused her to recall additional information about the September. Eighteenth call between Vice President Pence and the leader of Ukraine information that she wished to disclose to the committee. For the sake of completeness letter says quote pursuant to the House of Representatives impeachment inquiry. I right now to request that the office office of Vice President declassify any classified material contained in that supplemental written submission. The committee believes that the information and Ms Williams is supplemental submission. It is relevant to the impeachment inquiry and should not be classified the committee. It reminds you that executive order thirteen. Five Twenty six states that in no case ace shall information be classified continue to be maintained as classified or fail to be declassified for the purpose of concealing any violations of law or preventing embarrassment of any person or entity the office of the vice presidents decision to classify certain portions of the September eighteenth call including the additional information that Jennifer Williams remembered after her deposition and indicated she wished to convey to the committee as part of the impeachment inquiry that cannot be justified on national security or any other legitimate grounds we can discern so no response yet from vice president. Mike Pence's office to that. At least that we know of but vice president pence and his role in the scheme for which president trump is now being impeached reached. It remains one of the still dangling threads here he apparently is the one who went in person to Europe to go meet with Zilenski after the trump alinsky phone call to reiterate his lengthy that he wasn't getting his military aid. He was briefed according to his own advisors on the call that happened. Between President trump trump presidents alinsky in which trump made clear. That's Alinsky wasn't going to get his military aid unless Alinsky coughed up investigations of Joe Biden and his son and other types of politically motivated investigations. That president trump thought would help him get reelected vice president. Pence has said that he'd be perfectly happy having records of his interactions with Ukraine released to the public public. Well here's a test of that. Because his adviser testified in writing on a matter that he says classified it was about his communications with Ukraine. And she says I remembered something that I need to provide to the committee about this provided it to them in writing because of that classification designation from his office. The committee says they've now reviews. Is that reviewed that they want it. Declassified there's no reason on national security grounds to classify it it should be declassified because it is relevant to impeachment and the committee still investigating being the impeachment scandal in this letter is warning vice president pence explicitly tonight by the way remember. You can't declare something to be classified just to keep it from being being exposed as a crime or exposed as something that really embarrasses you. Embarrassment and criminal behaviour are not good excuses for classification sophistication. That's just tonight so tick tock the next impeachment hearings Monday morning nine. Am even though it is is vaguely. The Christmas season still happening. Despite that bad faith.

"I have some hidden hearing loss and I use a product This is the new hero in these are hearing assistance Serrano as cancellation earbud that reduces noise around round me in the environment so I can better here human speech and these things sadly come in handy more often than you think they would so that's the trick sure air pots fine but they're bad for you. They're bad for the environment and they're expensive. Mediocre ochre sound quality awesome crate but we're going to keep frontman because consumers ran after them and they got populars. We have to keep pretending attending that. This is a viable option in the headphone space. I really need to wrap up this podcast so we're going to go folks. Thank you so much for participating this week's show this is an amazing live chat even for being kind of cranky and a little sick. I think I am a little bit that sucks but I've got a lot coming to the channel the experienced one review we'll be going live as soon as I know that youtube isn't going to monetize it. You want to help support the conversation around a different phone their pros and cons but we can be fair in assessing the pros and cons on a Sony like we can be fair in assessing the pros and cons on an iphone right. It's going to need some help. It's not gonNA get shared. It's a longer term review on a phone that people already wrote off. I could use the assist when that video finally goes live but it's available now on the Patriot if you want early access to some of those videos and other reviews I'm also going to be releasing. I I focus review this week. I finally have everything shot but it's GonNa be a long video. it's going to be on almost fifteen minute review and there's a lot of stuff that you need to collect from the phone in the APP but you know if you wanna a good heads up display because apple isn't making a heads up display and Samsung isn't making a heads up display and Google isn't making a heads up display and Microsoft isn't making a heads up display display vocals north is making a heads up display and now I'm getting notifications directly to my line of sight which is going to be super distracting for me wrapping up this podcast and wrapping up the week. I'm going to have the second half of my me audio lineup review I covered all of their new ear buds in in ear monitors and I got my wife's reaction to using custom molded ear tips for the very first time so I'm going to be really excited to share that because this woman and has never been able to fit in ear buds in her ears. They've always been painful. They've always been uncomfortable. This is this is going to be fun reaction. She's never heard audio like this before so I got it on camera so that's GonNa be coming out at the end of this week. Got Lots of stuff to talk about. I've got some editorials plan. I'M GONNA have some new egg videos coming out. I'm going to have a on another podcast appearance on a friend. Show flow ion is going to be in town. We might try and get together and do something fun me and Tk Bay still have to give some phones away. You WanNA phone contest. You GotTa help share this stuff folks. We want to give you phones You want phones. We want 'cause we have phones to give but we can't get there without support without participation without sharing and without finding ending those communities and helping us spread the word so there's a lot coming out and I promise this will be way more fun than Cranky one during the swings pot so folks I again huge. Thank you huge shoutout to all the folks that are still hanging out hanging with me in this live chat right now. "Of George Norreys as well and he appears on the airwaves where I work at my day job Kaylee S. T. V. political debate stuff Alan is keenly interested in the subject we discussed on their show including the ones we will tackle tonight big questions the biggest in fact where are we heading as a planet as a species what will likely become of us many of the scenarios are not pleasant we don't like to think about these possibilities all that much we'll get into the reasons for that part of it a little later but some of the scenarios being played out right now being game by scientists in deep thinkers are pretty grim but are already under way the pace of technological change for example the the challenge of artificial intelligence the merging of humans and machines robotics bioengineering not just a far off Star Trek scenario but unfolding right now so tonight we'll take a peek into the future a future that is not too far off in the first out this evening are we the product of an art collector that is an artificial intellect so vastly superior to us that for all intents and purposes we can call it god or at least eight god a deity is that made us intelligent design is a controversial topic of course always has been the question of whether it should be taught in schools remains a hot button issue our first guest tonight is a computer scientist who has designed computer brains big ones he thinks there is mathematical and physical evidence that we were designed by someone and that eventually we'll have to make some tough choices about whether we want to become god like ourselves to become our deluxe ourselves doctor you go to garrison joins me in a few minutes to talk about what comes next posthuman ism transhumanist call it what you will and whether our world our lives are the result of chance and evolution or the creation of a superior intellect in the second half you know the poets ask if the world will end with a bang or a whimper scientists have their own ideas killer asteroids killer robots super volcano's super bugs maybe space aliens Brian Walsh has written an excellent and entertaining guide to the end of the world called appropriately enough end times if you're worried about it or just curious about the future of your planet and your species may be more than just one species or something worth checking out later in this program a blazing hot August here in the desert no surprise there and while I am ready for the worst of the triple digit heat to be gone I'm not ready to say goodbye to summer you I mean the you know the parents out there probably planning for the kids to go back to school soon and maybe some of you are already back at school but look you've got a little time left little time to squeeze in that in one more road trip one little joint somewhere get away for you and yours we're gonna play some road trip tunes tonight to get you in the mood and proper frame of mind you'll know them when you hear them little bit of news tomorrow morning just hours from now commissioners up in the Lincoln County that's our world about all right the middle of the state or the eastern side of the state are going to be considering what to do about storm area fifty one we've been talking about it up all over the media people are talking about it it started as sort of a little joke on Facebook young man it posted a page and we should all store merry fifty one they can't stop all of us next thing you know a couple of million people have signed up saying they're going to go and so it had you had to put the brakes on that proposal little bit but something has borne out of it and Lincoln County commissioners are now faced with the prospect of twenty thousand thirty thousand visitors all showing up on a weekend it in September it looks like there are more than one event being planned there's at least two in Lincoln County being planned one in my county a party in Clark County here in Las Vegas a lot of people might show up but nobody knows just how may so Monday morning nine AM can county commissioners will consider whether to declare an emergency declaration and the emergency is they don't have the resources to handle it five thousand people that would show up out there would be a major strain on their resources police and fire and ambulance as things of that sort the places that are under consideration for the big parties these big shindigz the art festival Film Festival music fast what combination of all of the above really aren't equipped to handle thousands and thousands of people so organizer's added a couple of different places are now scrambling to put it all together I think a lot of progress has been made but for linking county commissioners they're not quite sure what the heck to do so in the morning they're going to try to figure out whether to issue permits whether to ask for help from other local governments in Nevada and whether these events are going to be allowed to go forward we'll keep you posted and next week on this program will be taking a harder look at the whole storm area fifty one proposal little bit a UFO news broke out this past week now if you follow the story of a tap and all sap those of the names for their once secret Pentagon study of UFOs and S. navy they're the ones that were the pilots encountered these weird objects the tick tack in the gamble it separate so take a look at that on the coast to coast website it when you get a moment also our webmaster lex and I have put together are you Jules assortment of items and oddities we call it maps news you can find it there on that same coast website multiple stories tonight that relate to the two main gas that we have this evening and the topics looking at technological issues threats to the survival of humanity things of that sort there's even a humorous sort of an article about asking whether dinosaurs may have had their own technological civilization it's sort of a a thought experiment but at the end is as improbable as that may seem if in fact they had evolved into something that had its own technology there's no way we would ever know about it because whatever evidence that would have existed back then would be long gone by now so take a look at the stories that we've got there on naps news on the coast website while you're there you can check out how to become a coast subscriber if you subscribe for a year it's still a great deal cost pennies a day.

"That's why Biden is doing this. I think smartly by doesn't want to argue with any of those people with Bernie or Buddha, judge or anybody. Listen, you wanna be Trump on the guy? And that's got to be his argument. And that recent poll helps him because they listen, I'm the guy who can do this and do this better than anybody else. And so that's why I override all this in the end across wanted to win. Yeah. You know, what's interesting about that same that same poll? Also showed that Democrats overwhelmingly. Yes, Democrats are focused on beating Trump, but they also really want to pivot on issues that they are concerned about they want someone to talk about healthcare. He wants to want to talk about public education. And so the candidate that's both able to focus on how I'm going to beat Trump, but also have going to create some policy solutions is going to be a problem with that is how they talk about it. Yeah. Because if they start talking about it and feel drawn as many of them have further and further left that plays right into the president's hands. Because then he'll brand even Biden ultimately as a socialist. If he starts talking in that way. And that's a that's a label much worse than sleepy Joe on the socialism label is going to be one that will cut if they can be made credibly by the president. And isn't there a fundamental problem or challenge that Democrats face you talk about anger at corporate America talk about the economy when we are looking at the lowest unemployment rate in fifty years, and as I talked about with Senator Sanders. It's not just the big macro numbers. We're seeing real wage growth for the first time in a long time. How do you as as Democrats make the argument on the economy when the economy is doing so well, it's hard to make that argument right now for the Democrats? That's why they need to pivot to other issues that voters care about healthcare can be a real issue that Democrats can control the narrative because it is hard for them to to beat back. The reality that the economy is doing well and Trump is of course, taking all the credit for it. But I think they need a really pivot to issues that they can be strong on the economy is not if we are a year from right now in exactly the same spot economically where we are today. I think the Democrats have hope that in the end, that's the way people vote in these elections, especially the wage growth. John is a really important part of this. Because if middleclass voters start seeing their wages going up, they're going to give the credit to the president because wherever's in gets the credit president deserves the credit for what he. He's done. And I think it'd be very hard for Democrats to break through. So Trump goes from the guy that couldn't win to the guy that can't lose. I didn't know about. But I don't disagree with the governor on that. And that's why that's why Trump doesn't see his greatest threat is Joe Biden, he sees his greatest threat is Jerome Powell, right? As the Federal Reserve is the greatest threat to his to his reelection. And he said that I was like, and I agree. Stephanie. I think Democrats know that they need to be focused more on health care on energy and climate issues on education rather than just the economy, but despite the strong economic numbers, I mean, the president's approval rating is still below forty percent. So it's not clear how much credit he's really getting. He's going to continue to get from this economic running on on handling the economy that fifty six percent, which don't. We've ever seen that kind of divide. This all the other issues that we saw, you know, but those other issues will be a distraction compared to economic numbers. And I think people were wondering this week. Why did the president have that meeting with Chuck and Nancy as he calls them and agree to a two trillion dollar in concept to? Yeah. Did he do that? Plus he's concerned that the economy won't last until November because he's concerned exactly about old town what he'll do. And he puts two trillion dollars per stimulus into this economy pudding union trade workers to work and building up the economy's in the states punt funding, all this money in the economy will stay at this level. Even better. This is an economic move by the presence of hedge against what he's concerned, the fed will do, but let me ask you the politics on that. Because I know this is not really the Republican party anymore. It's the Trump party. He's he is the t- is the leader of this party. But the idea of conservatives supporting. A two trillion dollar spending Bill especially in the face of the kind of deficits we're saying is that is that. I mean, does it. Make people nervous. No your party, you'll make some Christie. It makes people more nervous. What would make me? More nervous, Ernie say his presidency. That's listen. But that's like, I mean these Sanders have a hard time competing with two trillion dollars. He on it, exactly. The president's theory here. I'm going to get out in front of this issue. It's going to pump up my economy. And what's Bernie Sanders or Joe Biden or anybody else gonna say about me, putting building trades people to work on the streets, the roadways the railways of America to improve our infrastructure, the airports the tunnels. This is going to be if the president posed this off this is not only economically. But it's also going to be a great political move for him in the debate. That's going to go on with the eventual democratic so can Democrats simultaneously talk about impeaching him? And then work with them on what would be maybe the biggest domestic policy initiative we've ever seen since the great society. And that's if this actually happens. I mean, I think that Democrats talking about impeachment right now, isn't helpful for the Democrats agenda. People want to talk about issues that are impacting them on the day to day level, which is why Democrats definitely pivot to talking about other issues other than the economy and other than the air, quite frankly out of the report. Yes, there's still a lot to has to be uncovered there. We need to focus on. How are we going to protect our Alexis moving forward? I mean, we still haven't had any concrete solutions as to how we're gonna make sure that no foreign governments are impeding the next election. And so that's a real issue for Americans. And that sounds like Nancy Pelosi. That's basically her message to the party. But then why are we seeing so many of the twenty twenty candidates getting way out there saying that Trump needs to be impeached bar needs to be held in contempt. They're they're they're going there on this issue because they spending time with democratic primary voters who want Trump to be again what governor Christie said, where's the energy in the potty since the primary electric? It's not necessarily the national electric. That's the primary electric when you're spending all your time with active. Vists effectively a lot of your time with activists you're gonna hear impeachment come up a little bit. So where was Pelosi explosive was really directing that lied suggest he committed a crime in his testimony before congress. What strikes me about her comments? This week is that you're definitely seeing Nancy Pelosi emphasizing a lot more with those members of her caucus who are frustrated and furious and with a lot of the democratic candidates that does not mean that she's inching any closer to actually supporting impeachment, but she is going further and her criticism. I mean, she really ripped into the president and into the attorney general this week, but she also has made clear that the bar for impeachment hasn't changed you still need bipartisan support, and you still need some buying from the public, and that's not going to change. She desperately wants to focus on the agenda wants to talk about health care wants to talk about issues that she knows voters really care about which isn't necessarily what folks inside the beltway wanna talk about. But it's a real tough challenge for and I think she does. Awesome. They also can't seem tone deaf to not talk about the fact that we do think that bar lied in his testimony. So they have to it's a balancing act of how much do you talk about? What is happening right in front of you with bar, but also stay focused on issues that make Democrats little it. It's possible. I mean, how many deadlines has Jerry Nadler, given high noon deadline, April second, you must release the more. And in the. Oh, that's really cute. Deadlines. Can you must comply actually know will back off Bill by you must testify and guess what? Monday morning nine AM delays deadline deadline pound sand will be Bill BAAs response to that. And just keep doing it. Because he is what the secret is. They can hold him in contempt. It's been done before it matters. Nothing goes through the courts, it's going to get dragged out Bill by knows. He's got the power. And he is telling them to go shove when when married turn the phrase of people being frustrated and furious that reminded me the last time that we held in the Torney general in contempt the Republican adversaries, Eric Holder, contempt over fast and furious, and what happens nothing because you know, what happens that gets referred to the Justice department for prosecution and Eric Holder went. Yeah. I think prosecute myself. Well, if you think Bill bars can have any different answer, you can forget it. That's what's going to happen. And listen, I think the problem this left-center problem in the democrat. I would not I'm gonna say, especially when I know I did. Wrong. Bill barton. Here's the thing. This left-center fight. And the Democratic Party is taking them off a focus because those far left people Jonathan pointed out who want impeachment who want contemptible bar who want more subpoenas in more hearings. The presidential candidates are reacted in. The congressional people are saying come on. We gotta keep this majority in the house, we've got to get focused on healthcare and other issues that may actually move those those center voters their way rather than the president's. Well, they don't seem to be ready to take the foot off the gas on. All right. That is all the time. We have thank you for joining us. We will be right back. And now we honor our fellow Americans who serve and sacrifice..

"And then I still go in do almost all of my coverage and commentary on YouTube. I so I am seriously considering over the next month. Diversifying channel and platforming content. Where maybe some of these things that should be live that are already brought this. This show's specially it's on mixer. It's on twitch. And it's on periscope that maybe we make live something for other platforms and finished videos for YouTube. So that would mean moving this podcast predominantly to twitch as the main portal for interacting for chat and for for these types of discussions. I'm going to be playing with some of the format of some of this content over the month of may. And then I feel like once I get a feel for what that looks like or how it might work. If I decide to make that kind of channel a channel conversion or content conversion that that'll be for June. But I'd really like people's feedback their experiences what you would like to see for content and conversation because as we can see this was an amazing live chat and the interactions. Here are terrific. It's just taking increasingly more social media time to continue weeding out people that are frustrating to deal with and managing comments and maintaining this audience. And while you all have been very helpful on YouTube for facilitating that I just don't like the way that YouTube does business with a number of their content creators if I'm going to contain. To talk about that and criticize and point to these things that I have issues with an I also feel like I should lead, by example, and find solutions to my own problems rather than continuing to just complain to the people that are already here on YouTube. So. That's the gig. That's the conversation. That's a chat, and I hope that you can share some thoughts. And I hope you can leave me some comments and that we can hopefully find some solutions. And maybe the solution isn't just trying to perpetually satisfy the YouTube algorithm, or maybe this Lucien is the double down and really only look at YouTube content distribution strategies. I really don't know though. I think it's pretty clear I'm leaning more in one direction than the other. So folks, thank you so much for watching the so much for sharing all the people that dropped super chats. Thank you so much for supporting production on this channel directly and all the people that were just joining this conversation in earnest, I would not be doing these. If we weren't engaged if we weren't talking about this, and we didn't care, so especially those of you who disagree with me, but can do. So in a a polite way where we're seeking solutions. We're not just trying to bash bashing each other for having different opinions that to me is his value. That to me is is a perk worth continuing to to build into grow off of because there's far too little of it in most of our general political conversations. "Other radio shows and talk television and all these play the mullahs report is going to turn it's gonna it's coming out today. They're giving it to the attorney general. Delivered it to Capitol Hill. And he's he's going to write the summary. Now. Here's what the funny part is all these Washington people. They're all the same. This a little inside sacred, the Chad. And I know that we're going to share with you. Because as American citizens, you're paying for this farce, we call a government, you might as well know, how it works. All these guys are in this force, the money, and what happens is this report. It's going to be about three phonebook sized books of here's here's what we found out. But if you open it and read it it's just like excess that have been typed. There's no real words in there. And it's understood that, hey, we don't want to lose our gig with the government because the pension is great. The pay is great. We don't actually have to do anything to get paid. Good job. Yeah. And so modern hands this to the the attorney general William bar. He types up the summary and the summary says something like after two years and five hundred million dollars of spending on this particular report. You know, the rest at all the people will nod and say, yeah, we get it. Don't worry about a thing. We'll keep it under wraps. It's by we'll say, there's a legal thing. It's gotta stay under wraps everybody made their money and they'll move on. And nobody will be the wiser do you think that it was dropped on a Friday, which means they've had it ready for awhile? I told you and Trump started talking about this earlier in the week when he started saying, yeah, let it go public. I don't care. I'm telling you somebody called him and told him what's in it. He's got nothing to worry about from. What I understand bowler was most likely gonna come out. And this wasn't going to have the dirty stuff. He found out unless he thinks Trump should be charged. Right. A crime. That's right. He's not going to do like Ken Starr did. And put the dirty details in it. Because of just how detrimental it was. Yeah. Here's the thing too. You have to take into account once again, this is some Washington inside stuff, you drop bad. News on Friday and for Muller, and for the people who are just so desperate to get Trump out of office. This is bad news. Kyw don't even have to see it. Yes. Because if it was good news had been Monday morning. It would have been Monday morning nine AM. And the Washington Post would have their own secret copy given to them by some inside source promise. Yes. This is bad news. And there's nothing there. Yeah. This is good news for the president. Yeah. That's what I think to watch us be totally wrong. I think William bar. He probably was drunk by eleven o'clock this morning, anyway, couldn't care less. What Senate nobody carries? It's a cocktail lunch day. It's Friday and every day is a three day weekend up in Washington. They're going to the Capitol Hill club, which is Republicans only. Oh is that? Right. Hip and cocktails. I've had I've had lunch there. Really? Actually, very cool. Do they have a Republican only club? It's right next. It's right next to the Longworth office building like right outside wouldn't they have do? They have a democrat only club. Yes. And from what I understand they they're in debt. They can't pay the bills on it. Now, this was two thousand eight when I got this knowledge now, but yes, and apparently nobody likes to go there because it's not as cool. Capitol Hill club is I mean, it is top shelf only got these beautiful sculpted elephants in their pictures of Lincoln everywhere. Where did they get the money for this? Awesome. It just kind of a in. It's for I want to say, it's just for congressman. No, it's four representatives only. Yeah. It's super cool. It's awesome. You know that? The the underground trolley. Yeah. Of course, I tried to get on the elevator. That said senators only, they wouldn't let me know you gotta be with this. You have to be with him in order to use it to her. I know it's really disappointing. I remember Burgess took us up to the very top of the rotunda. So see I'd like to see that. That'd be cool. That is the coolest view you can get. So you can go to the very top where the painting of George Washington is up there. Overlooking like he's a an angel and then from there, you can go further to go outside. I'd like to go outside. Let's take a look when you go outside you get to see the old dome of the capitol for those who don't know the capital has been updated. And it's been expanded over time. Like, you could see the original Senate house, the original house of congress for the house of representatives and any way, you can see the original dome atop, and then you go outside niche, just as it's it's an unbelievable view, obviously. And you're at the very. Top under the statue of the statue of freedom the tippy top. Yeah. It's really cool. But like I was like the elevator. You have to have a Representative take you up there. Okay. Well, maybe I can think we'll know by the end of the the hour. Are you kidding? This is going to be the most breathless nonsensical reporting. I can't wait to see this orgy of ridiculous wrong stories get out over the weekend. And then they'll have to correct them all on Monday because everybody's so desperate to be. I when ObamaCare when the ruling came down from the supreme court, everybody got it wrong. Then they got it. Right. Then they got it wrong again. Then they got it right again. Because nobody read the report they just wanted to say what they what it's out in here. It is. And they'd read a sentence and say, oh, so this is how it came out. And then it turns out. Well, no, that's not how it came out. Regret. You're going to see one of the biggest joke. One of the biggest jokes you've ever seen from the Washington. Press corps. They breathlessly report incorrectly. Pretty much everything in the report. Yeah. Even on drudge it says Muller delivered. Rudge no public still in dark because he always seems to get the inside scoop of what is actually in. I didn't know anything, but he doesn't now he has he hasn't scooped anything since the Monica Lewinsky. Yeah, I still think he's doing I'm pretty sure he's still doing well for a site that looks the exact same. I tell you. This is this what you were talking about in the pre game show today on Facebook live is that all you have to do is one good thing. Tony Romo has one good game. Predicts a bunch of plays. And now he's the most sought after person in television. Gayle king is now doing the same thing. She had a good interview with our Kellyanne. She's expecting a million dollar mega-contract. Yeah. Drudge gets lucky on some tip. That other news organizations has puts it on the internet, and he's been writing that for twenty years now he and Craigslist just said, I'm not making my set. Right or wrong. I don't care. I'm not news person. I don't have to be right. And of course, as we've seen on the national side. They don't have to be right or even knowledgeable about what they're talking about. So I'll get you the information as soon as I can find it out for you. "I one Carlos bag now some gadget guy the s g g of this terribly named podcast in the QA stands for the fact that I like the live broadcast of this show to be an interactive conversation with like minded tech pals joining you every Monday morning nine AM Pacific time. I've seen a few people saying, oh, you're getting started a little earlier while you can thank daylight savings time for having inconsistent clocks and calendars around the world, and it just needs to be abolished. But I digress. The Monday morning to chat show, we like to spend a little bit more time digging into some news having some conversations about stories that might have fallen through the cracks. And then also just not feeding into that. Jerk reaction new story hits the reds. And then we get worked up about it. And then we never come back to revisit that story or check back in with that news topic. We we like to spend a little bit more time looking back. And that's why I like doing the show on Mondays as opposed to waiting till the end of the week on Fridays and then trying to sum up what happened that week take the weekend take a breath comeback in with a fresh pair of eyes. Hopefully, you got some rest on the weekend. I know we did not get a lot arrest over the weekend. My wife is prepping for GD see because she works for an organization that takes GD see very seriously. We my daughter we've we were worried that she had pink eye, but she does not have pink eye. She has her daddy's terrible skin. So it was just a freak out moment. Just before GDP pink guy. It's the worst didn't turn out to be that. And then of course, yesterday was Saint Patrick's Day here in the United States and. Again, I'm getting old and I have a kid, and I was prepping for this podcast and went, oh, you know, what Saint Patrick's Day today completely forgotten. I should drink three quarters of a Guinness and then pass out on the couch. So that was my crazy super awesome Saint Patrick's Day. I hope you all had a lot more fun festivities safely that you're able to to go out and do something wild and crazy because I. I couldn't hang seeing a ton of people in the live chat already demeer. Sharyl? I'm seeing a car thick. I pretty sure I'm mispronouncing your name Omer LX sear Goren Petrovik. I'm philly. This is already Gary Ronald Collins, boomer I'm feeling like this is already going to be a lively chat quite a bit of Ronald SIMS. I went to a parade and then I slept. So about a month ago, my wife, and I were behind like, you know, oh, you know, lex is getting a little bit older, we should start planning some more cultural things, my my dad's family is I rish. We should. We should be really looking at sort of trying to share some of these experiences with her had all these grandiose plans of do like corn beef and cabbage. We could we could try, and you know, I the week before we should go shopping. We should get all the groceries and stuff that we need. And then like the day of like, well, we put legs and a green T shirt v Saint Patrick's Day. So so yeah, very exciting. I wanna jump right into some housekeeping. I'm going to try and keep this podcast to under two hours. Just because I always make that promise than we always run crazy long. Surprisingly, we've got a lot to talk about. I was thinking last night. I was looking over my show notes. And they're like, oh, this is going to be kind of a kind of a quiet show. And then apple was kind enough to drop some, ipads, or is a new league on an iphone or some net neutrality news that we can cover soap. So, thankfully, we've got some interesting things to talk about. I just heard something fall in my living room. Hold on. Gonna listen. Make sure I'm not like getting robbed or something. I think we're fine. Okay. Moon read along get into some housekeeping real quick, I was a very excited to take the wraps off all of my updates human go into screen share..
