"So if you're doing this to make sure you have a really good call to action that sends people to website where information or sends into an offer or face group like this one that you can further the relationship rights, you can actually create a relationship and actually to sale. So number one makes you a damn hold actually stuff is under. Free content. You don't send them any works. Pretty stupid limited to I think this is also what good for someone doing book launch doing product launch. If they're doing any kind of Monchy products, and you are on the hunts. Right. So you have a good solid called action leading to gonna lead magnet. Maybe then trip wire. So I think that's really good to or if you are to say, your personal brand, and the podcast is a key piece of stuff, a key piece of content for you where you have a lot of good content sitting around to right 'cause you don't want to really be dumping money into this. You're not having your content so a rundown this again, right? So a makes you have kick ass. Call action that actually has value for the customer before driving. Money's this thing. Right. What makes you virgins or good or you have there? It's going to convert them into subscribers in all. Also listeners or people voting. Find out more about U D is you have a product of your launch his show or love the book or launching something. That's a values to them that I think is fighting strategies using short-term it runs for thirty days to. So when I buy once let run for thirty days to get to test it, and then was third one. Here's making really good content to drive to them. So when those lands near page, right? They're gonna see obviously, the first thing you or lasting you've actually produce. So last episodes should be really good really kick ass. They should have really good copy in headlines, really, really good. And yet for right now. All I have. But those are goodness. Just get you started. Remember, a good of overcast dot FM force. Last ads is very few podcasters using eight ads platform ends getting you in front of a lot of people. So I don't think it's a bad yet. Just two least Testa. What else? What else would else I'm excited this? I think really platform, and if you want me to run ads, let me know of the holding for you set it up let it run the stats, and we'll figure it out. So all my clients were in this route of no regrets for podcasts. Okay. So what does the platforms used for podcast advertising since for on that topic rights use Spotify full of those I have not tested them disappeared about the could use them trial. That goes you could also use Facebook ads in Sarim ads drag traffic there, you know. I think Brennan super dirt cheap songs. He went not, right. If you get the money to do it the Dame on its do strategy just Bill mountings faceted routes, so yeah, let's see what else what else. Pretty much is for this episode. I think it's a pretty interesting play here. Remember, you can pick the John res- you want..

"Things mood, our friend Herbie had his engagement party at a roller rink out in Antioch. And it was like a Friday night in I want to say like early summer, and it was it was like a throwback to suburban high school days because like all of a sudden all the teenage crowd just shows up while we're skating at this ring. Music changes. Very nice. It was actually pretty great. Yeah. We were off for little over a week here. Tested, and I stayed home. I left the house twice once to watch a movie, which we'll talk about in pop culture news. And once I spend New Year's Eve over with wills place. Actual midnight news Neo we left before midnight. Shake. We left it like ten pm. We saw we saw pretty embezzle year. And then we're like, we play board games will wife and I played. Tabletop games. And oh, yeah. Me poor bonds shoot was his game called decrypt. Oh, we got a new game for Christmas called decrypt. Oh, yeah. And it's fun. You split into two teams. And you have to communicate something to your team without letting the other team interceptor communication and decipher what it is. You're trying to say and it's it's enjoyable. We had a good time with ice T three games that we played much Koro. Yeah. Have you heard of that laid it which I not play before. It's very fun city building game sushi. Go sushi goes awesome. That was really fun. This. Apparently, the ipad iphone version all did was make me want sushi. And then splendor blenders, great don't know that one in. That's another like Monchy Corre point. Building raced to those old games were my favorite videos, three things that they were on the table there on the table union. But the one you mentioned was dragon would. Yeah, I didn't play right which I converge. That's a great family game. It's like very intro to RPG kind of thing. I also played board games over the holiday break. We went to Yosemite as a family, and my wife's family there, which is interesting because we got to Yosemite a day after the government shutdown began was there anyone there to let you in so Yosemite all of it stuff like the shuttled hotel's run by concessionaire and most of the big national parks. It's like that like Yellowstone's like that. And so basically, you don't know that the park is in shutdown except for a couple of crucial things and they're pretty crucial. So one is that the entrance gate is just open. There's no one there. So you don't pay anything. Crazy awful. Yeah. And we ended up donating money to the assembly's parks. Conservancy equal to that kind of entrance. And then the visitor centers closed, and then like the bathrooms that are sort of park managed are not taking care of. And so in the first couple days like the staff was really nice, and everyone was really all the guests. I think were really kind of apologetic because it's kind of crappy situation. It was awesome. Being in Yosemite at Christmas time my first time there, they built an ice skating rink lake in the village below half domes skating there with my son and a guy just totally like wipes out hits his head on the ice. And he's bleeding it happens. But the park service is in charge of emergency response. So I'm saying what happens now, but so like a ranger. That is not being paid has to like respond with medical staff that is not being paid as well. And so to see that that they're still working even being paid like really, just emphasized. How hard it is for a lot of people. Amidst the shutdown stories started to emerge now that we're entering a couple of weeks about how the parts are becoming kind of a trouble spot. Let's just say with people read deadly gumption, increasing bad behavior. I saw a little bit. Like, we saw we ran into a couple of coyotes in this meadow. I mean, there are a little ways off they're just hunting and the end like normally like there'd be like Rangers veiling and stuff and this family just started like yelling at the coyotes and tried to pose pictures with them and stuff. And it's like clearly like this is like there's behavior like that. That I think is emerging with toilets not being kept up garbage overflowing. There's potential for damage, so hopefully, the shut. Down and soon or they should just close the parks because there's potential jam damage coming, but it was awesome. Being in a national park at Christmas time, there's low biz snow overnight.

Nowhere to ever spoken. What would come of that think it'd be arrested? Why? I definitely legal. Why? Why. Because you'd be you'd be ruining children's candy and evenings. I don't know a trick. I guess it's not the most creative. What would you do then to get really tricky? Yeah, maybe like distract them and then swap their bag of candy for just a bag full of cream corn. So then you get the candy. Then I get candy and you know what? Maybe I just leave the cream corn in the can to. And I just give them a bag with a can of cream corn in it that they'll use to just a beat you to shit with. Now the doors closed here. Get me. I'm never really. Never. "Here in the fifth. Justin Turner, doing what Justin Turner does gets on a couple of pitchers in that at bat that he could have made an out on. And he just spit on him. I'm not I'm not gonna put that ball in play. Enters the left. He takes a look to the lefty munching in there for a called strike. Let's he's not gonna hit for the same average. Or it has many homers off the left-handed pitcher is he does. Right. And you're gonna have a lot more bats in those spots. But he's dangerous. It all run off a left-hander last night and he ate during the regular season. Shift Azzam three infielder to the right of second base. In shy one one. Nothing. But fastballs, boomer. When he misses for the most part, he's missed down. Muncie. We know loves the ball up. You make mistake out over the plate. And that lead. We'll go back to the dodgers. From the stretch to pitch big cut munchies swings. Twenty two. I'm inventors just not gonna change ninety four once again. Then if it's not at the knees, it's below the knees. Interesting with Machado the right hand in the on deck circle. No activity, then the Braves bullpen shows. The confidence that Brian snickered has an Johnny vinegar. The one two on the way ground ball to. Well, it's to shortstop and over two third at second face will explain for the four shout fielder's choice the ship was on who was between the second baseman and shortstop the cooperation took it albeit on the right side of the infield had left the third baseman Camargo to cover. I'll tell you what it was almost a mess. Yes. It was. I mean is makes a die for a ball. That's right in front of Culbertson. The ball was not hit hard enough. I think Culbertson would have charged that ball of Albee's would have gotten out of the way. But when he didn't get out of the way as he came in Culbertson had to stay back when he didn't touch it. He comes up with it fortunate enough to be able to get the force out. But they lose the opportunity for the double play. I gobble clutch to ensure who's gonna fielder. Neither will they weren't. Sure. Either. Now, Manny Machado Cuban and the one dodger around with a double in the first. Better starts him off with the ball guarding the line now Camargo at third right on it. But shaded certainly that way against the channel. Double went that way. I dealing with to outscore Monchy. All to whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Crowds. "On another and the exact same location down off the outside corner. Checking the runners now, the two one from gospel, that's way, outside three and one. What just occurred to me almost these two runs came with two out dodgers almost all the runs they've scored in this series. Most of them by Homer is what they do. And they're looking for more than just the two Tronto has a three one pitch coming to him with two runners off. On the way grounded foul wide. Little off the front of the doctor dugout which found her bay shot should hires. The crowd trying to help they're trying to help the brain three balls two strikes out. So obviously both runners moving. Turner, a check. Monchy leads the channel digging in. Two runs home and the dodgers get more. They trail five two steps out. Gaza. Editorial off the mound, hence, the boo. You've had more moments in the two and a half innings of this game than we've had in the first two games. Really? Right. Chuck. I'm I'll have to do a frosty right now. Give me a frosty and some fries. We'll we'll show you. What's what before night is fantastic? And I found it more than acceptable. Compared to a lot of other games out there. Oh, absolutely. Now, I will tell you that that you know, as I said we have the switch now. I know some people they their kids they have all the game systems. They have a PlayStation. They have an XBox. They have a switch. Don't look at me. Like that. You ask the question. Why you mouth to me the question? Why why this is is because there are parents out there who are afraid to tell their children know, or there are parents out there who say, well, the other kids have this. So I guess I have to as well. Oh, stop it. And I find that as sad as can be sometimes it just happens because they have one and then grandma buys a gift, and there it is right? That can happen. There is an age appropriateness to gaming systems because everybody I speak to who has an XBox will tell you that the amount of trash talking and four letter words on an XBox is out of control is that what you use Arjan XBox. And it's not just adults no kids on their screaming. Yelling cursing being aggressive. Abusive in every stretch. And so when we did the research we were like what the hell everybody. "So there is a real continuity there. I think with with Napoli meanwhile, Roma goblet looks made some good acquisitions in the summer. Well, look, this is this Monchy style, right? A lot of comings and goings here. I think a lot of it is going to be about a developing some of those. Some of the players we saw last season like under what he can bring loading greenie in midfield, but really the fence is the same when we saw good it was they need to replace Alison Olson's big, big shoes to fill their by the midfield I think is upgraded and zones e and gives you turn if she's not getting any younger at this stage, have yet pasta brings you quality who stand to brings you quality. I think we're gonna see perhaps a more creative rolm this season and don't forget Jordan Cliver as well. Giving you an alternative. You take a look at it events as fans which team, and they most concerned about going into the start of the season. I think it's got to be what gab said into intone paper. Looked like they'll be the biggest challenges. We know that spell it. E is wonderful town Titian, but agree with exactly the same points that gap made. I think this is make will break for him as a coach. He needs to be able to achieve balance. He needs to show that he has some big personality is in that dressing room from Nagaland to, of course, Mauro ecology and loved auto Martinez, whether they can all combined together and bring out the best or raw that whether all some of people will be having to do a lot of dirty work in order to ensure the likes of ecology while up front. So I think they're the team to be. I do think that me on will be very interesting. The season, I think more than anything they've made so many signings laws cheer, but what's different about this one is now they have Palo Mounteney, Leonardo on the board in their management who will talk to the players every day and imagine having to answer to Paolo Maldini. If you're a youngster, you're going to really demand the best of yourself because you wanna impress these guys wanna. Impress these club legends. So I think that's gonna make a huge difference. It made a difference when Nedved came back to you vintage. So I don't see why wouldn't do so from land as an apple season of transition for me. Your predictions, you've you've aid to win into second Roma. Third Napoli. Meanwhile, full top scorer at Christiana or not an interesting life you play of the season Milinkevich savage. I very much just think this guy is the best midfielder in the world. I mean, I know that sounds like it's a, it's a huge statement, but he this is he's been watched by the biggest clubs around the world for managed United to Madrid to your Ventas. Everyone wants him. We know lots, you're never let a play go for free, but there's nothing that this man can do score goals, produce moblised performances. He's clutch. He's the guy that will win you the games when everyone's down and out, and he's a leader on the pitch and off it. So for me, I definitely think he's the guy that will make a difference just remains to be seen how much you can do the season being straight Monroe. These very good blow through the during the World Cup. Please reply complaints the from he's good in the in. The Gobi was kicked lonely of chested down. He's thing some Paul's without being a creative pulsa. You'll do the right things at the right. So I'm powerful as well. He's very good attacking midfield player. One point he played in the midfield three. Now he plays higher up the food. As a second strike as he did serve should take gams picks here. Yeah. Worried you take cops pink. She events insulin as Sima line fourth top scores via county, the air to be renowned. But we know that gob and Carlo jalousie a very special relation. Guys that being a falling out to the forget your birthday on the phone. You know what? It is seven straight years. I have picked a team other than you Venice to win the title and seven straight years. What do you do? They go out and winning this year. I mean, counter intuitive. I'm I'm using reverse psychology. I'm picking you to win it and picking engine. I'll t- to to fall out of the top four perhaps hoping that things aren't quite going to go that way..

"So that was sort of the beginning and just the poignancy of this notion that you only have eighteen summers, and if your kid is nine, nine of them are over fifty percent through. And that's hard to imagine because they still feel like a little kid. So we really started there and we really wanted to make this both incredibly inspiring. But also incredibly tactical said there, you know, we wanna give permission to those parents who wanna take a baby step, no pun intended on their first second or third trip with their with their child. And then also give people permission and the tools with which to reach. And I think that's maybe even the more important part because we all take the baby steps and we all really wanna reach anybody who is listening to this podcast or engages with any of our platforms is somebody who wants to push themselves a little further and especially with children and you will find time goes on that it gets easier and easier, and then you get to reach a little bit higher harder. And so that's sort of where we started. So Laura, you're coming off of you have a one. She's almost fifteen months and no, she, you know, she acts like she's too. I wanna go the doctor and be like, can I have it? You know, three major, thirteen months, fourteen months. She's had a tube. She has opinions already, but no, we've been really lucky. We've traveled with her a lot. You mentioned strapping her baby to your back. Go into Monchy peach. Oh, that's what Sophia did. We have this beautiful photo of one of our contributors chew fee who literally took her six month old on a hike, the Incan trail. And I'm sitting here like I went to Paris. I'm pretty proud of going pairs with at least again Peres. Yeah. I mean, as the mother of a two year old, I have severe anxiety about traveling with Charlie and what is it? It's one thing, it's it's a lot of things. I think it's like the, it's the acknowledgement that you're not travelling in the same way that you used to travel, which is is sort of sad and getting Zayed's thinking about being in a place and feel. Like, I don't know how to have this trip. I don't know how to have the trip that used to have and you won't have the trivia. And I'm okay with that. But I think like the great thing about what we pulled together in this package I think is showing that it's okay for the first couple of years to rent a house and go to a place and invite your in laws and your siblings to come because it you'd need help system. And you just honestly, like all I wanna do is sleep in and have some drinks and not wake up at five or six in the morning and the anxiety of going to a place where I can't have somebody take him for the morning. Right? You know, which is why it's so nice in those early trips we said it's okay. Like go to a house, invite. Some people have the support because you're going to need it. You're still away, but you're just traveling with support. I do think it's an important point that you make that vacation at this stage of babyhood of, you know, parenthood is in fact being able to have a couple of drinks and not be under house, arrest. Tell where you turn off the light and be quiet, or you know, maybe if there's you're lucky to have. A veranda that you can go out on, you know worrying about your kids jumping on the floor. Making noise. Walzer either. In the late soft in the hotel room. You know, the baby goes to sleep at like seven, seven thirty and it's like lights off and your hostage in your hotel in the bathroom. I mean. Wine because. But but lorry that was one of the best things about your trip to Paris when you brought your baby monitor and it worked in the restaurant downstairs, you can actually keep the baby upstairs and go downstairs and some shit for that too. But that's I'll. I did that to actually early on in in which was better because it wasn't a proper hotel actually like up a flight of stairs, killing and a house.
