"I want everything. Being a teen superstar. Set the scene for molly ringwald to raise teen of her own. And how does she feel about her daughter following in her footsteps. She's on the view next actor singer and writer the lovely molly ringwald is no stranger to the life of a teenager. She's been one. She's plagued one many times and she's a mother to a few of them both in real life and in her work on the new netflix kissing booth three. We loved her then. And now please welcome the fabulous molly ringwald. Tell molly thanks for having me. Thanks for being here molly. Now we've been talking about. The olympics in simone biles stepping back to take care of her mental health. You became famous as an actor at a young age and there was a lot of attention on you. Simone spoke to the pressure. The attention on hurricane bring can you relate to what she's saying. oh absolutely i can relate. I think that You know being famous at any age is challenging. But i think having that all all about attention on you at a really young age is even more so because you're still you know developing I i think she's completely doing the right thing. I i really commend her. And they may you know i mean i. I felt that pressure as an actress. But you know what she's doing when she gets up there and you know if she makes him say it she's not in that mental state she could potentially be paralyzed physically. So you know i think. I think it's really incredible that these women Feel empowered enough to take care of themselves. So i'm really happy about. I'm indeed pretty dangerous. So when you're in your early twenties interested me a lot. You did a film in france and then you ended up. Moving there for years temporarily pausing. Her hollywood career took big risks stepping away. From all of that. Do feel for me. I feel like. I really grew up in the public. I mean it was something that i that i chose to do. I don't feel like my parents were staged parents. But nevertheless i was i was really sort of like a bug under glass and i really felt like i needed to go somewhere where people didn't necessarily know who i was and at the time does john hughes movies were known everywhere. They were very well known in america. But but not so much france. So i really felt like i got to grow up by guts. You know what it was like to live someplace else. That thinks it's the center of the universe. You know because because wherever you go your if you grew up in hollywood you know. It's pretty hard not to think that you're in the center of the universe but then you go to france and they think they're in the center the university so it was really nice to sort of debt a different point of view and realize that you know that every everywhere you go everybody thinks they're the center university. Then you just sorta make your your own center. And i feel like that's really what it did for me And i also speak french. Which i had always wanted to do so it was. I think it was a really healthy thing but yeah it was it was. It was a risk in terms of my career. But i always thought in terms of you know the long haul and not just you know i just didn't want to burn out. Well learning another language as always a good bonus. Of course i speak spanish myself and i will tell you that your career didn't seem to suffer because the kissing booth movie series has been wildly popular. It's so much fun and you apparently have the third and final one coming out. I would love for some spoilers. What are fans going to suit this one. I think it's just a. I don't want to give away too many spoilers but i you know i feel like it just wraps up. The story really nicely You know. I think the kissing booth series is just a. It's just a really great feel-good movie. And i think you know everything that we've been through that we're still going through In the past year. I think i think that's exactly what everyone needs by the way this is this is merely ringwald. I don't know if she's distracting own. I have marley austin actually right here by my feet as well. well listen. We have a clip of the movie. Let's take a look like lots of people figure out what they want to study once. Start.

"With the next generation of teen stars in the rom com kissing booth. Three comedy superstar whitney cummings on how she's reaching out to fans and joe's getting the last word on summer reads in the final chapter of the ladies get leads here come hot topics with whoopie. Sarah joy ehar har- sunny hostile and megan mccain and ana navarro now. Let's get things started. Hello and welcome to the view here. We are another friday. And everyone's wanting to get back to normal life. But the latest report. From the cdc has pushed that timeline back it found the delta variant is not only more deadly it spreads as easily as wait for it chickenpox. They're asking officials to keep pushing vaccines and reinstate mask mandates which just caused house republicans to storm the senate in protest temper tantrums. Like that aren't going to get us out of this. So what's it going to take people to be part of the solution and not part of the problem. I tell you when. I saw that spectacle yesterday of all those house. Republicans storming the senate. I don't think i had seen that many clowns outside of a volkswagen and a circus in a long long time. And it's doing nothing to help the progress of fighting coal that it's making no contribution and i think we all have to focus on that. Think we're going to have to have an all types of approach right. There's going to have incentives like the president announced yesterday and like some corporations and some states and cities are doing there is going to have to be some sticks. So there's going to be carrots and sticks. There's things that people are not going to be able to do. If they don't have proof of vaccine dining places go to broadway do certain things. I don't think people should be able to go on planes. If they don't have proof of vaccination so we need to figure out ways to make to to have people feel some pain and we have to continue the outreach. And yesterday when i was watching the news i probably to me. The best messengers right now are not celebrities. Not politicians not preachers. You know what it's those patients that are in the hospital saying. I'm so angry with myself for not having been vaccinated. I thought this wasn't going to be a big deal but here i am because what we are learning what we have learned in this last month. Is that kovic and fighting. Colby is not an individual sport. It is a team sport. And even if we get a perfect ten if somebody doesn't show up if somebody doesn't score if somebody doesn't get the vaccination we are all affected. We are all being held back and we are all being held hostage. And it is not fair to grandson or sarah's children or ps grandchild or grandchildren. We can't do this to our children. I would think the incentives should be the vaccine itself but alas it is not sunny. What did you think about house. Republicans going on a field trip to the senate without masks yesterday. Well you know. I am not surprised because when you look at the numbers joy. I mean house. Republicans fifty four percent of them are unvaccinated compared to a hundred percent of democratic members of the house. So i'm not surprised that they're doing this. Because it's very clear that republicans have decided to politicize the virus. They've politicize the vaccine. Politicized the mask a mask wearing this is part of their game plan because they think it's a winning strategy rather than work on true legislation like the infrastructure bill and other things to help really help the american people. I think that when you have someone some folks like marjorie taylor. Green and matt gaetz. Who actually sort of have a press conference for the political prisoners as they call them who participated in the january six insurrection. Those are the folks that we saw walking into the senate. You have lauren beaubourg. You know they're moronic exactly like nancy. Pelosi said it's moronic and it's just evidence of kevin mccarthy's acceptance of his new big tent. Party cunanan members insurrectionist now anti vaccine anti massacres. What doesn't make sense to me is. Why are they pushing this when really it's their constituents that are going to die from this. We now know that forty six percents of conservative. Republicans are those that are refusing to take the vaccine so this is not about other. Don't want to hear anything about false equivalency so this is an unvaccinated problem and it's a republican problem. That's where the messaging is coming from. All right thank you for that meghan given this new data of people ready to manage your expectations about when we get back to normal. Do you think. I think that the white house should be honest with the american public and say there is no going back to normal and that taking off the maths was just a ruse and they'll probably be lockdowns and again americans who wanna live as i said yesterday. I think this is literally going to become a state by state issue. And if you don't wanna live under masking and you don't wanna live under these mandates. Unfortunately you're probably going to have to move to a state where they're not gonna do it like in arizona. Look i made myself clear yesterday. I wish that there was a little bit of energy coming from democrats particularly in washington. Dc where. I'm at right now about the violence going on and the homicide rate because quite frankly i have a higher likelihood of getting shot leaving this building than i do of getting cove aid from july fourteen. To twenty-eight there were four cova desk and eleven homicides in washington dc so again. There's a lot of problems and there's a lot of ways to die. But i wish that republicans or excuse me democrats would care about. That is well. You don't have to listen to me. There are people like david axelrod. Who have come out saying a advisor to president. Obama coming out saying that it's really hard to incentivize people. Once you've had taken away in politics and we were told we wouldn't have to wear masks and yes i guess. The data is changing. And now we're told that we have to wear them including inside here in washington. Dc and there's very little high have very little hope that we're going to be pulling out of this. I think there's going to be more and more variance variance and unfortunately this is the new normal and until we get different leadership in in the white house. I have a lotta hopes that this is ever going to end one final thing if the white house truly wanted to show that. This was a bipartisan. Issue that this is about getting everybody vaccinated not just democrats. they should give a little credit to president trump. And it's hard for me to say that because i don't like president trump but fast and furious did work and he got vaccines doubt in the amount of time that was fast and furious like said he would and when jen psaki has asked about it she's very cavalier and quite frankly snarky saying well. We don't need to give him an engraved invitation at this point. If it's this serious that we're gonna lock down the country and everybody has to wear mass again including by the way two year olds then you should probably invite president trump or someone in trump land to help get the messaging out because until then we're just being held hostage until this may be never passes one opened his gagging him..

"You're allowed to deny people based on pre existing conditions which isn't a choice again. Let me remind you having had postpartum depression. I was denied in individual life insurance. Because of that. That wasn't about a vaccine. That i could go out and get. I think we need to start making this more uncomfortable. Because i follow france model when when a president. Macaroni instituted. anywhere you go. You're going to have to show proof of the vaccine or proof of negative tests. They saw a spike of one and a half one point. Seven million people in twenty four hours signed up for the vaccine. So let's just go that route right now and make it much more comfortable to be vaccinated. Not well we might be. We might be going the way of macron pretty soon but that remains to be same. We'll be right back. Still a hell the kissing booth three star molly. Ringwald comedian whitney cummings. And it's the joy of reading on the ladies. Get lead a lenny. Kravitz showed off more than his six pack ads. An instagram photo yesterday. He also showed off his handedness with a jackhammer which he was using to build a deck on his property. The sexy photos sent the internet hearts aflutter but it also poses a question. It's something particularly sexy about a guy who's handing you know. I have to say i find nothing sexier than a man with a drill in his hand unless the dentist. I have to just say that. I mean it so hot to me to see a man like fixing. What do you think sarah absa frigging lutely. He didn't have to try so hard though with the sledgehammer he could have just had like a little belt. Like bob the builder or something. I've always been. I think a handyman is just not something. I've run into very often. I love max. He's got a lot of talents but he doesn't love fixing things nor have i seen him successfully. Do it very often. So i always loved are super back when i lived in. The city name was brian and he was an angel and i still miss him to this day he could fix anything and i always thought gosh. Someone's going to be so lucky to have you. You fix everything it's great. It's great funny. I know you have a handy. Mammy at home don't show he's not just a die this lady you know. Manny's pedic surgeon. They're really carpenters of the body. He knows his way around any tool in in our house. And it's just amazing. I mean he's built the deck on our house. He has he. He refurbishes cars himself. It's something that's very cathartic him. He's installed air conditioning in this very room. That i'm sitting in because it was really hot. Where we're we're filming. He's pretty amazing. And actually for mother's day. This may not sound like very sexy to other people but his mother's day gift to me was that he would do any job in the house that i wanted him to. So he's very sexy. And when does this man have time to to do surgery if he's building decks feel. I know mondays and fridays. Let's hear about your husband. Does this joy please. i'm married. I'm married to a high maintenance. Latino this man thinks tying his own shoelaces is manual labor. He literally does not do anything anything. So lack of homer simpson showed up at my house with an open shirt and blue the leaves off. I think he would've sexiest man alive. Okay i think just. I mean pleased. Change a light bulb anything in my house. Right and meghan meghan. Who's doing the home improvement at your house. Well did you ever notice that like any any porn. Start with like home improvement guys. That's this made me. Think of like porn plots or like you know. The handyman coming. The doors the clearly. There's some like there's something like sexual attached to lake. How women ziemba and i don't know that's why i was thinking when i was thinking actually like the big lebowski like the scene in it so i don't know but lenny kravitz is ageless. And he's you know he's the sexiest man. Probably all time. So he doesn't need to do all this to make us think he's sexy already. Is like the most gorgeous specimen of a man that ever existed..

Nobody's gagging him. Nobody's gagging town can go out and tell his people to get the get the vaccine he does. I think it would be nice to see a bipartisan. Push formerly together and it's just never anything biden tries bipartisanship left and right up the wazoo and nothing all right. We we have to move on sarah yesterday. President biden suggested that states offer incentives. Like giving one hundred bucks for getting vaccinated. You agree with this approach. Absolutely i say whatever it takes. I believe in the incentives When they first came around and in may there was some polling that showed people were thirty four percent or thirty four percent of people said they were more likely to get that made him Make him was referring to you. Know they're just going to be more variants and everything else. There will be at this rate because right now we we've proven that vaccinated people can pass this in the more. This number spikes without people getting vaccinated. Which could start to quell those numbers again. It's vaccines versus variance We are going to keep seeing this kind of staying alive due to the divide on people in how they see this. But i think it's time to consider negative consequences as well because right now if you think about health.

Slicing my Thia with a broken piece of glass. At folks, this was the teacher. Force to eat worms by one Ronald Clifton. I could go on and on. There's a lot of embarrassing moments in my life. Childhood to the present, frankly, Candace York that asks who would you most want to throw cold spaghetti at? Such a long list for me. Mariah Carey's way up there. Not wouldn't make my top million. She just there was a time where she irritated the shit outta made like, but she's not like a holier than thou type. That's what you wanna hit with spaghetti times have changed. I just I used to have a bit about that. I would want to throw something Mariah Carey. It was during the Nick cannon years when they were showing people how they have like a candy store in their house red. But yeah, I guess she's kind of fallen off the list. Man. I gotta tell you fall off the list I and a lot of stages. I have really grown to dislike Molly ringwald. I think it really fucking sucks that she is toss in Hughes under the bus in every interview chance she gets an acting like she wasn't there on the set making these movies too. And that like it wasn't a different time. And that everybody was a little blind this shit back then because that's how progress works. She bugs me, man. She bugs me, I think that was a really cheap move. I feel like you actually hitting fifty year old woman with spaghetti though. You're not gonna feel great once you've done it probably know, and it would probably. Show the times have changed. Yeah. All right. Let me pick a man. I know who I would definitely throw it out. It's a real life person. I can't say his name on the podcast. Oh, yeah. I'm not even thinking normal. Oh christ. I know a lot of people that I could just go do it right now too. I have a number one so strong that I can't even really think about joke answers because I'm so focused on actually throwing spaghetti Adam. Now now that you say that I got a number one real that strong to who lives right in this city that mine does too. Yeah. That's what I'm saying. Okay. All right. Take it back about Molly ringwald. All right. Will you John went as will you consider coming to Madison? Wisconsin to do the live pod. Brought Zin beers are on me was going to say no until we got to that second part. Yes. We'll consider it always consider. It's a matter of supply and demand if we can make the show work there, we we will come to do it Madison's a great town..

"Yeah. Motivation. Yeah. Reason I would be interested in that career. You know, listen is it too late to start over. I don't know your song at the beginning. I was. Now jamming is gonna freak just date. No Email yet. Milliyet? But no bounceback of this Email is an active great. Yeah. In crowning the right track. Yeah. I mean, all on literally the g mail is open. And so I'm not like staring at it's in the corner. But I can tell by the time stamps like if something comes in. So I'm just keeping an eye on it. Okay. Let's talk about let's see. There's so many other ones that came up. There's breakfast club. Glenn end of the movie, and it was kind of cute like she was like, why are you being nice to me? She was because you're letting me and they wasn't like a weird. I'm trying to get a guy. I think it was just kind of they were having they were playing around and does under motivation. But then as soon as she comes in with the pastels and run the new makeup than a million of us is like hubba hubba Challah. Belt me. Yeah. Because he's been trading or kinda like shit the whole movie initiate comes out and she's wearing glass new girlfriend. Yeah. And then the other thing about that is the only the pretty much the only time the two female characters in that movie interact. One on one is them giving a make over. So it's like John Hughes is like, I don't know how girl talk to each other doing makeup, right? Yeah. That's all chicks do. Well. Yeah. That old movie. I mean, remember when Molly ringwald came up with that article about like how she thinks almost. I mean 'cause I need to rewatch it. But there's a lot of issues in that movie. Right. Yes. Yes. And it's like one of the least offenders of the John. Yeah. For. Probably being sixteen candidates. Out. We're not even going to go. There can't tune into the beco- cast really wanna go there. So there's that one. I also have job raker seen this in many many years. So I don't remember this one. So well, the motivation is interesting, I don't wanna spoil this. If you haven't seen everybody hit that hit that skip button. But basically, there's a girl who's kind of nerdy an unpopular and she's obsessed with the four popular girls. She finds out that three three of the public goes actually killed the base popular girl. And so in order to kind of like an order to not tell anyone they go will make you popular like. If you don't tell anyone that we murdered our friend. We'll make you popular, and you can take place, right? The motivation is is pretty fucking. Like, I don't wanna see this move. I like looking I call. It's another like nine of. Okay. Yeah. Plus for. I bought my first car was a Kaiser Seebren convertible, and it was because of that car only rose McGowan drives in it. And I go mental note getting one of those sixteen and congratulations also can say fits body in the trunk perfectly. Well, selling point. When I saw that movie. I was like that might come in handy. Your move press. Yeah. That's right, which I do drive one now. You could fit to bodies is. Well, I came. Predeceased? So I would have like the body. I would have to kind of candidate regular so. Yeah. Plenty of room for this bodies. So everybody checkout job breaker for some iconic moments clueless. We have clung this is a big one. I fucking honestly love this one. And. You know, the motivation was basically like share wanted to feel good about herself right by making over. But tie loves her makeover right heels, really good. Like that last part what she's looking in the mirror like laughing. And look she's like I like this queue, you know, the idea was it share share..

"It is indeed fun and light and really very good. And I want to see more of Lana Condor who was the star in this. She's great. I was very surprised that this movie is directed by a woman, Susan Johnson directed it. And I just I shouldn't be surprised. But just because when that popped up at the very end like directed by Susan Johnson. I was like oh well woman directed this. Like, that's such a refreshing thing. It's just so it shouldn't be that rare. Where I actually have like a visceral reaction to being surprise. Is that a woman directed a movie, especially a good movie? So that's going to happen a lot more. Hopefully, I hope so. Yes. And hopefully might surprise will decrease each time. But yeah, Lana Condor and Noah Santino, are are very charming in this movie in the film, one of the characters mentions sixteen candles, and they talk about one of the opening scenes of the images opening images in that movie. Which is where like two characters are walking hand in hand in or they actually have their hands in the back pockets of their significant others as they're walking through high school, and my wife, and I both realized that we neither one of us had ever seen sixteen candles, and that was also streaming on Netflix. So we just rolled right in. We just did a double feature. And I wish we would have watched sixteen candles I because to all the boys I love before is a way better movie. And I know that a lot of people will probably like screaming right now because you grew up with sixteen candles. It's John Hughes. Classic from the eighties and people have like, you know, heaviness dodger for it because I'd never seen it bef-. I didn't have any of that. I like John Hughes a lot fares feelers day office one of my favorite movies ever. This one is a huge miss for me. I think Molly ringwald and the guy who plays Jake Ryan. I don't know what what his characters are what what the actor's name is. Frantically scanning the page for it. And can't see it right now. Michael show filling of never heard of that actor they don't have any chemistry and their characters. Like, I don't buy the love story between them at all in this movie. It's very much like she's pining for this. Rich jock kid who doesn't know that she exists. And I just don't buy the central relationship that the movie is sort of like the foundational relationship film. Anthony, Michael hall plays this sort of he's like a supporting kid. He's like a geek who who has a sort of has a thing for for Molly ringwald 's lead character, but he's super annoying, and like this movie gets into first of all long Duk Dong comes from the film, and then we can have an entire podcast about that. I just wanna say that's like an embarrassment and a stain on American cinema. And then soldiers leave it at that. But there's also some weird date rape. He stuff going on in this movie. I would just say if you loved sixteen candles when you were growing up, maybe don't rewatch it because I don't think it holds up very well at all. And there's really like almost no redeeming value to this movie. I I realized that sounds harsh. But I don't know if anybody has any have any of you seen sixteen candles recently..

I know he wasn't in the breakfast club. Kind of take fills hint. No. Some sort of movie. He's in the movie, I know Phil scene. He's he's a I mean, this movie is so creepy. I know you've seen it. Oh, it's. I'm not actually gall solid the two that are in my head right now. Art creepy. Some I'm now, I'm a little curious, but. Well, it's still Joe's terms told enough for him. I know what you're talking about. What is it? No, okay. The pickup artist. I'm like, it's Molly ringwald that's as close as I could get to a brat pack movie. Was he in waiting? This.

"I mean, my hymns where the let's your approach because I always feel like I always felt like I was like the door key kid. I was a small skin highschool ahead, you know, dysfunctional. But you know, I felt like I would somehow make them laugh. I can if I if I make you laugh, maybe I can get in. Now, I've always been, you know, some form of funny and charming and like I said in forward. I like you a I really I like you like would you say that right away? I like you. Yeah. Yeah. Look like, oh, hey, look had my baby. I like you. But also, I'm an old fashioned gentleman. I would ask you for connects you really I always would say that. And I will say like at least at saints fifty fifty split half the girls would find that incredibly charming like very gentlemanly. Like, oh, I'm holding the door for them. May I kiss you at cetera and the other half, why would know would let roll their eyes and go Jesus Christ kiss me already. Would you like that, you know, failures? It sounds like. Oh, no, no. I mean, of course, I have we all the other half is going to be like fuck you. And you're like, no other other. There's kiss me. Did you just shut the hell up kiss me? I actually had that. I was I'm not a drug user majorly. I smoke a little pot legal in this little suffering Zion at times, but I was at burning man one time, and I said hell with it. I'm gonna take some Molly ringwald on there. And I'm a Molly doubt. And I don't recommend doing this. But this girl, and I locked eyes, and you know, just she wouldn't stop staring at and I went up to her. Finally, we're just both. You know, what we're somewhere else, and she goes your breath, smells, great allow Joe's chewing this watermelon tried in or whatever. And I go would you like a piece insure was so intimate, and so sexy did you use the when that was already in your mouth? No, let's see. That's where I thought this was going. I thought it was right out. She'd be like why don't you give me that? It's already know. But that was an in right? I should have. But I didn't it wouldn't help the situation. But I said thanks, and I gave a piece of gum, and we just talked for a second. She was just looking at me like this almost like a vampire looks at its prey like, you know, fright night. You know, just like, and I go finally go I wanna kiss you right now. And she goes that's not going to happen. How what's see? That's the thing is that you can't you can't get too offended by that kind of stuff because things just stared at me, and then my breath fresh. I know that's true. That's true. Actually, I see where you're going. Like, it seemed like that's what she was hinting at but good thing you asked. Yeah. Right. Because then she would have just turned her head away. Going new look, you know, that would have stopped that would in sucked. Anyway, it was just like, you know, what that would have sucked more. It was more. But have you ever been turned down on the kiss? Yeah. Of course. Did you feel bad? You know, I feel shame. I mean, probably like, yes when I was younger. But like, yeah. Like as I hit my late twenties early thirties kind of thing. No, I go like cool like that could've gone so much worse. Yeah. Thanks denying me. Yeah. Thing things you ever tried to kiss the girl, and she rejected you I don't think. But it's not because it happened a ton of time. You just weren't very forward. You're relaxed, dude. You seem like a really polite kind you a good soul. So you know, what is it?.

"The troubles were some serious dangerous disruptive like they were basically living under terrorism. And it was on. You know, it was on Netflix. I would have pictured something very different. Sort of like, not not maybe a little bit bleak. Certainly, you know, like more. Just just a darker tone for sure I'm this is like wholesome fund for the whole family kind of sitcom and at first I was off put by that. And then I got into it. But I was sort of like, I guess I haven't watched a it's not exactly a traditional sitcom because it's, you know, they're they're swear words and their sex, and like there's not a laugh track or whatever. But I hadn't watched them things like this in a while. And I was sort of like shocked by the sweetness at its core. Yeah. I would just say that. Although the playwright is no based in Linden. She is from bury. Yes. Yes. But like, you know, I'm just starting. Yes. Fisted? Yeah. I mean, I think that is because this great trick that I think is the key to the success that it's it's like in the voice of these girls like that feels like the excitement and the mania and the just the craziness of being, you know, sixteen and the parents who also, you know, have their jinx I think that like the next generations are really dealing with that stressful stuff. I mean that it is a crazy thing that so many thousands millions of people lived in trauma. I mean, there are many people now are essentially suffering from PTSD because of just the way things were on their streets. I mean, it's weird to think what terrible things happened in Northern Ireland, and you know, to a certain extent but much less still hunting today. But. You see that the these parents have in a sense like isolated their kids from the and protected them from it. And you know, don't always tell their kids what's going on. Well, I don't know that I think that the show. I mean, it doesn't it sort of plays it for laughs. There's there's a character who is basically tied up by. I think it's ballista is a militia IRA who anyway, someone part of military military of of one of the other comes into his house, and and like to steal his van. That's a traumatic experience that is played for laughs. Because he tries to be, you know, a great storyteller. And he just doesn't have the way about him. And and everyone's like rolling their eyes at this guy who in this very deadpan way describing being tied up to a radiator. Like, it's an and the there's also a little bit of fun poked at the idea of the, you know, the the soldiers coming in their bus to check for bombs. It's it's like treated pretty lightly. Yeah. I don't think of it as lightly. I think it's just the the thing. I love about it is like in its extreme inhabiting their point of view. The gut like they want to be totally into this drama. It's like the one time they're sitting still at the dinner table. And then he's just like boring as hell turns out to be the most boring person on planet earth, which is so funny. I love that CNN, and it's like they're trying to have a dramatic move. But he just won't give it to them. That's just a really funny idea that like something happens to someone. That's amazing. And they're just too boring. You know, I don't know. It's just a point of view like that's what I like about it. I was wondering it's nine hundred ninety. So it's not exactly it's not like recreating eighties because I was thinking if she explicitly like taking the Molly ringwald era, excuse me and just like, you know, turning it a little bit. So it's not so boy obsessed in which the focus is entirely on the girls, and sort of the boys are on the outside. But it's not quite that era. It's like a few years after that because this is nine hundred ninety s. Yes. Like the. Yeah. I mean in that era felt very crucial like when I heard about the show people were you. Recommending it left right and center, and I was like a little bit like, oh that's pretty late in the troubles. I'm not sure like I just I the end the era just didn't feel like that was interesting to me..
