"Want to tell me what happened what happened what they dismissed it haha no way Oh awesome so my daughter I feel like I'm gonna read Paul's gonna come in and celebrate some my daughter got a first moving violation ever and it was honestly folks it was like a petty one it was one of those like thirty six point point five and a thirty five ones which yes technically did you break the law but I mean realistically so I'd ordinarily say just pay to fine and move on but I thought this was a little kind of heavy handed so I told her you know you should probably go and fight this and my daughter's got very nervous she's never been a traffic cord race never had any trouble in her entire life and she beat it so everybody a big for congratulations uh... my daughter so uh... good for you so my wife is all happy because my so good job is... I love you but Chris having said that I really appreciate you reaching out to the show and you probably had a question on a lot of people's mind and thank you for your feedback we don't have to agree on everything but promise I you me being insensitive is not a thing I grew up really poor was really middle class maybe upper middle class and only I'm the new money guy okay I have not been rich my entire life, nothing close it to I always laugh with everyone I'm the I'm that Titanic Cara I'm the unsinkable Molly Brown remember they always laugh at her change the name of my name that's me I don't know how to be rich rich people have all kinds of stuff they have like cool stuff I'm just figuring out now someone told me and my brother -in -law works in a high -end watch store he's like you've got to buy this watch which is a Vacheron and I'm like whoa what that that was so what I'm like dude that was a lot right there I might say that again it's senti a federal and I said it was that good I said I don't know anything about watches I don't even have watches I had a fossil when I was a kid he's like oh my gosh this thing is great I don't know anything about this I'm just kind of learning right now my wife buys me clothes you see me out there and you're like ah man those are nice I didn't buy my white blood I had no idea the hell I know about being rich yeah they can hang out with country clubs I'm not even a Mar -a -Lago member I'm not I go there once in a while we got the movie premiere there next week I'm not even a member of that country club so brother I'm with you but we got to be realistic we're gonna save the country let me get this Vanity Fair article cuz it's important this is really shocking Vanity Fair put out a piece so Vanity Fair the backstory they get a hold of this slack channel communications company Twitter like a microblog that a company only has access to so let's say the Dan Bongino show at a be me Jim Teresa maybe Suzanne the CEO but I doubt she'd kind of write that much but it's only yeah so only we can read imagine that Jim Jim so someone got a hold of the New York Times slack channel when the explosion hospital happened in Gaza of course the only people who you know would believe that it was the Israelis without doing any homework would be the New York Times you like wait I thought all the news is fit to print like our journalists supposed to actually research the story for it that's funny that's that's it a good one that's in New York Times as long as it's left -wing propaganda they'll take you to first the Israelis bombed the hospital kills 72 trillion Palestinians the New York Times like pretty pretty bro pretty I should search should we research that first absolutely not absolutely not like a there's a tape a PP tape Donald Trump colluded to steal the election with Putin has he actually met Vladimir Putin and discusses but no have you ever seen the PP tape never um has any credible person gone on record that the PP tape exists no do you have any actual evidence whatsoever there is actually a plot to steal election none printed front page kids the New York Times is why whenever you cite to me the New York Times or Wikipedia Jim what's the rule on the phone what's the role where if you say you instantly hang up units are sorry Mike knows that you cite Wikipedia we're adding the New York Times it you cite them on the phone with us we're hanging up instantly if you cite if you make fun of them it's okay if you cite him as a credible source we're hanging up on you instantly they it get a here's hold of this so they got this new guy who's over there and this explosion happens at the hospital is one of the live editors and he says hey listen you know maybe we should hedge this it's the story he says you want to hedge it a junior reporter for the New York Times who's been covering the the conflict chimed in on the slack channel he says i think it's better to hedge this is the junior guy this is the new jack so the senior news editor at the New York Times they're like the paper of record chimes in we're attributing we're we're attributing oh to Hamas this is a guy at the New York Times a senior you're a level guy telling a junior guy who is apparently the only smart one in the entire slack channel like ah you know what hamas has a history of engaging in malicious propaganda maybe a good idea to maybe give it five minutes before we run a headline and cause an international incident about the israelis a bomb hospital in and nearly causing another Benghazi like thing at US and Israeli embassies overseas the new york times senior editor say now we're good hamas said so we're okay oh okay good to know you guys got a lot of quality controls over there at the new york times can i ask you a question before you i know i gotta go to break here but uh... this is serious question for those listening to may work at the new york times because we we have i'm sure that there's someone out there's got some experience or know someone worse than you are you going to get any story right about the small stuff like brainwaves detected in a five -year -old in a comma like i'm not talking about that i'm talking about major political stories is there any story ever you're going to get right i mean after blowing it on the the p p hoax the russian collusion hoax after blowing it on the spike and there is no evidence of spy uh actually we have the spy's name uh after blowing that after blowing it on everything from the nikki haley drapes controversy you made up to mike flinn and the russians to now is israel blowing up a hospital which didn't happen are you ever going to get a story right are you ever embarrassed imagine having one job being a journalist your one job is to put facts out there it's all you do like i just had a cup of coffee like if i go to a barista their job is to make coffee right like that's the barista by the way i don't know how they ever got a fancy title like it's like coffee maker like i was a shelf stalker you know do i get a fancy you know like stalker extraordinaire or something like you make coffee okay cool that's great it's like everybody's work is valuable good but we need a fancy kind of work but if you're a barista like your job is to make coffee cool right that's your thing like imagine me go in and go broke can i get a cup of coffee yeah now we don't do that here uh it's a coffee shop yes i'm not today it reminds me of my brother when he worked in his deli with me my brother used to get lazy at night and then people would come in at night you want to clean the cold cup machine again my brother he'd laugh now but it's true so it'll be like 10 minutes to closing a guy come in and say can i get a roast beef sandwich that was always dirty recipes go all over the place my brother be like now we don't have any the guy be like i'm looking at it in a deli case it's see -through my brother'd say now that's just for show that god only knows how many people that deli lost in customers because of my brother in the last fifteen minutes that this the new york times they have one job make a roast beef sandwich make a cup of coffee get the facts right guys like nah we're good we're good we're not going to hedge it we're just going to attribute it to hamas that's good call you made there good call you guys are great at this keep it up are you ever going to get a story right? It just won? Jim, just by chance? You think by accident a story right? Maybe? Occasionally? It's right. Broken clocks right twice a day oh man wait one more thing one more thing I know what you're going to do the new york times has to understand the validity and reliability

"The show for you first so I tell you where we're gonna go today okay so obviously the deep state swamp is real we know all that it's not a very like the left likes to pump that that's a conspiracy theory that the deep state is not a conspiracy theory it's a conspiracy by lunatic leftists to make you to the deep state doesn't exist but here's the thing about the state rarely do people name I names don't want to knock other hosts because that's cheesy and cheap and stupid radio I don't think they do it on purpose I mean I mentioned the deep state a lot too and I don't mention specifics because sometimes it's the theme of a show and not about a specific person but I do think that's a failure of ours sometimes is we fail to put a name on it so I was watching this clip by RFK talking about the deep RFK jr. and one of the hosts asked that question basically well who is you know this military complex whatever no name names that I thought we do that with the deep state sometimes we fail to name names so something happened with Donald Trump in a video in RFK this week and it got me thinking I'm gonna name a name because if there was ever a puppet master to the puppet masters this is the person so that's gonna probably the first hour of the show and if you don't know the name of this person by the end of the hour of today's you show will you first couple of big announcements congratulations to producer Jim on two fronts the most important front he was blocked by Bud Light on Twitter for calling out Bud Bud Light for its insanity Jim is at JJ Verde on Twitter everyone should tweet Bud Light asking them why they blocked producer Jim for calling him out on torpedoing their company Jim simply mentioned that they were doing a ticket giveaway and Jim said well you should give them to the two people who supplied and they didn't like that so they blocked him Bud Light so Bud Light's of continues conservatives everyone should ask him on Twitter why they blocked at JJ Verde and he finished number two in the brisket competition in Oklahoma smoking meats which is Jim's favorite pastime yeah that's pretty that's not bad Jim he sent me a picture of it this weekend I think the people might have been Bongino fans but Jim is a damn good brisket guy too so that worked out I well had an interesting weekend too and as you know on Monday I have to go over this so Jim if you would stick to the issues crowd please stand by as we talk about other interesting things apologies wow look at that we just came this is crazy the pod track this just happened sorry to be distracted but that's me the show is I have a little ADHD the Dan Bongino show came in number 11 in the country for the month of July for podcast even though we took an entire week off that is still good right that's not bad right Jim pretty good huh no thank you so here's what happened this weekend a friend of mine by the way I gotta give a shout out to this guy a Michael good guy I met him on this a very wealthy friend of mine nice guy super successful doctor guy he's a plastic surgeon and he basically saved my life he's in my book so this guy means lot a to me his wife's 60th birthday he um I get all emotional bucks I get weird but but when I had that lump on my neck cuz I don't go to doctors ever and if I as a guy you know that's a guy guy thing I'm gonna tell you other guys out there that after the age of 40 what's not smart ever but Jim you'd agree right after the age of 40 even dumber like if you have a policy like I do they don't go to doctors you're probably gonna die and I'm violating my own rule don't get dead so I don't go to doctors because he's my friend I can go over there time and I popped in his office and I was like hey I got this lump on my neck and all can you you know check this thing out and he was like you know that sounds like a problem so I write about in my book the whole story he actually discovered the cancer so his wife's 60th birthday and we went down to Miami and he's nice as he rented he doesn't own yet he rented a yacht you know expensive nice but it was only for the night so when you think like I'm living living like on the unsinkable Molly Brown and the Titanic the new money cat or whatever so we get on the yacht and the thing thing is like I'm not a night guy okay I go to I go to bed at 830 at night are you laughing me all you want I I do I'm a life extension health fanatic I like sleep man I'm not one he's gonna go sleep four hours a tonight well I'm sorry you're only half the person you should be eating because I sleep seven and a half and eight though and I feel great so I go to sleep at 830 I get up at four o 'clock so Holmes my buddy the doctor this dude can party man like here and him and his wife if they can party so I've been sweating this party all week because it's a yacht so when you're out there he rented it from like 830 to 1230 you know like midnight plus 30 right I'm like I 30 I go to sleep at 8 like is there a bet on this yacht like but it's my boy so I gotta like represent because I love him and his wife so I had like a hundred cups of coffee I took like 20 snoozers throughout the day because I love this guy and I know he was really excited I was there because a lot of his friends are fans of my show and they never met me so I don't want to go and be like you know to mope it to you know look miserable because then he's gonna worry about me so needless to say I may have had a little too much caffeine like way too much caffeine you know what I mean and I'm like drinking cheap champagne the whole night so I probably had like a couple bottles myself man he he goes back and he says there's an after party I'm like there's an after I gotta find a ride back to the then hotel I don't get back to the hotel like two o 'clock in the morning I'm like after two hours I should be up freaking after party this is crazy so my wife's like you gotta go so I'm like all right I'll go I'm at the after party at three o 'clock and then I'll leave that for another day there's an after party at my hotel which is a whole different after party I didn't get to see the wait what's wrong it's a gathering there's a gathering me and Paulo it's a problem we get oh yeah he's like I it get I totally got it it's just giving me the be like yeah we get we all get so I don't go go to sleep to four o 'clock in the morning four o 'clock in the morning which is when I usually get up so I to have get up at eight to come back because I have things to do on Sunday and he ready for the Monday show I feel like like like a bouncer in a bar beat me up while I was sleeping at night right because I wake up in the morning it's

"And you're, you're worried about individual Liberty and you're worried about Republicanism little R and you're interested in limited government and natural law and economic prosperity and upward mobility and so many other things I could've put on this shirt, but didn't have space to do it. But those are the things you're interested in. The civil society, uh, through a, through a constitution that establishes a Republican form of governance with distinct limits and boundaries, no wokeness or artificial intelligence added. And that's exactly right. Come on. So, uh, so if you want that free shirt of the month, just send in your, um, my pillow receipts, that's the way to do it. And we'll send you out. Just tell us your size and we'll send you one out. Uh, slick Rick, what's going on in sports while we're being demonstrative in our introductions. In this segment, we got the Fiesta rodeo tonight, big D in Spanish fork, Utah. It's the Spanish fork arena, fork it over baby. And I got it bareback riding Clayton big low, 86 points on frontier rodeos, high heels. And we got steer wrestling, second round, Tyler Pearson, 3 .9 seconds team roping, second round Brenton hall and Peyton brave 4 .4 seconds flat, actually saddle bronc Logan cook, 85 points on frontier rodeos, Molly Brown tie down roping. We have cash and the rail and the rally 8 .4 seconds bow racing Savannah Bennett, 17 .1, five 10th total payout, rodeo $436 ,438 wrapped up yesterday. And uh, well, we'll get to a couple of quick stories, but before we do that, let's get to some scores baseball. We've got some good games tonight. Certainly. Yeah, we got the Phillies and the Orioles Orioles lead that three, two bottom of the ninth, good game there. And then a Rockies bombing the nationals eight to one in DC Royals over to guardians five, three that's in the bottom of the ninth. The twins lead them Aaron is two to one mid seven. Good one in Milwaukee reds on top of the brew is two to one Cincinnati looking for their sixth in a row.

"Like the industrial revolution, economies can change fast. If there is a massive breakthrough and it's always possible, but it's got to be big. Nothing's going to get us out of $30 trillion in debt. You know what'll get us $30 trillion of that out of it, a $60 trillion GDP. Double GDP in a couple of years? Yeah, it's crazy. But some major breakthrough cold fusion level type breakthrough. Some material science breakthrough, some cure for cancer. I mean, universal cure for cancer, but why would that lead? Because folks, you know how many people productive employees and our economy die of cancer every year? I had cancer. I'm not talking. I'm not trying to talk about it in cold numbers terms. I've just given you the economic reality of cancer. Talented smart people die every year because of cancer and they can't produce them. You were on an island and you had two farmers and they both died of cancer. Everyone would start. The United States isn't any different. You got a bunch of really smart people who die in their 30s, 40s, 50s and later, every single year because it can't. You come up with a cure for that. Your economy could jump by 5, 6%. But outside of that technological breakthrough, make no mistake. There's no more money. And anybody telling you otherwise with a Republican or a Democrat label in front of their name is just BS in you and is totally wasting your time. Folks, I'm willing to make a lot of sacrifices. A lot of you may say, fairly enough, and it's a perfectly legitimate criticism. I think about often. You may say, well, listen, man, you got a lot of money. What do you care? Fair enough. I didn't always. Folks, I'm not Kathy Bates character in Titanic. Mary Kathy Bates, the unsinkable Molly Brown. They always make fun of her 'cause she's new money. That's me. I'm proud of that. I'm proud I'm not old money. I never learned to live with money because I never had it. I was a cop. I was a Secret Service agent. My dad was a plumber, and my mom worked at a supermarket. I only accumulated any substantial amounts of money that I have now than the last four or 5 years. That's it. So I've seen all sides of it, but that's a fair enough critique, but I'm willing to make sacrifices myself. We pay an enormous amount of taxes, not that I'm proud of that. I wish we'd pay less. It's wasted, but if you said to me tomorrow, tell you what damn we'll cut you a deal. Well, cap your taxes where they are now. We're never going to give you a tax cut. But will cap them where they are, which I know would be productive, but we've screwed the country over we spent a lot of money. Well, cap your taxes where they are now. In exchange for that cap where we won't ask for any more, but we'll take what we're taking out, which I think is too high, but I get it. But you have to forfeit your social security payments in the future. All right, and Medicaid. Okay, fair enough. I'll do that. And I'll bet you a lot of other folks who were at the top end of the income scale would do the same thing. But folks, everyone's going to have to take it on the chin a little bit, man. Because we are in a world of trouble. And all this dilly dallying around, oh, we want to put a cap on discretionary spending. It doesn't matter folks. I'm sorry to tell you. I'm not knocking McCarthy in them. I'm not. I really, when it's time it's time. You know I've done that. You know that. If you listen to this show, this isn't the time. We don't have the votes. We just don't have the votes. Take what you can get, right? We don't have the Senate either, which makes it even worse. But in this debt ceiling debate, I want you to understand that if McCarthy gets everything he wants, work requirements, a 1% growth in spending, we're still going bankrupt. It is a sliver of the federal budget, discretionary spending. A sliver. Medicare, Medicaid social security and military eat up and interest payments on the debt. Are the overwhelming majority, roughly 80 plus percent of what we're spending money on. And anybody telling you otherwise is just lying to you. I want to play this in kind of a lighter note. Kareem John Pierre told you before his claim to ridiculously that the Biden team has been looking to negotiate on this the whole time. He's a deal maker. Really? Big hat tip to RNC research here. Here is a super cut of the Biden team, telling you over and over and over, they don't want to negotiate on anything. Check this out. We don't see any negotiation

"Don't let that be a bad surprise. Yeah, I, I actually made that mistake last year, we after traveling to Canada, for snowboarding with my daughter and son, I remembered, you know, I gotta renew this off and then the pandemic, it, and then a tornado hit here in Nashville and I forgot about it. I kept thinking of my God, I should check on that, and I never got. I always got distracted. We had a trip to Mexico. I looked and saw her password expired and unfortunately she wasn't able to make the trip because the password expired. And so we got it all fixed now and everything's good. Here's your bonus tip, this is Nicola. Are you ready for this Thursday? So if you have that happen and as a trip you have to do, I mean, let's say you've lost a relative and you've got to be there, you know, for last rites and so forth you can always reach out to your local congressperson and they know how to expedite passports so that don't do that regularly. But as a last resort, your local congressperson has the right and maturity to expedite the issuance of a passport. Yeah, that's an excellent tip. It wasn't an emergency for us to go down to Mexico. Enjoy the Sun but yeah, it is definitely worthwhile thing to do for people that are in that type of situation which I really appreciate you coming on the show and sharing all these amazing tips. I learned a lot about Denver, I've been having a great time meeting you can you tell me a little about who you are? What you do. And then if something is more questions about changing her about your podcast or about your business, what's the best way for them to reach you on social media? Well obviously I'm on LinkedIn I'm on Facebook. Mitch Kristin k r a y t o n. I own Creighton travel. We are a VIP Travel agency that focuses exclusively on small ship cruising. So if you thought about River Cruises, if you thought about Lake cruising, if you thought about inland waterways canals, even ocean vessels that are smaller than nine hundred passengers everywhere in the world, I have a vessel that will suit you, or you can get Charter Academy ran in the Caribbean. If you have a small family gathering, or if you have a lot of people 90 people, I can get you a luxury yacht to pretty much take you anywhere so long as there's a water connection to it, that's my specialty. And I do love it and most of the folks I work with their their, in their 55 plus years. So they're either, you know, sea level officers that have the flexibility. See where they've retired and they're taking off their Bucket List as well. So that's what I do. And Mitch at Creighton travel is my email and not look forward to helping everybody and you know, if if a cruises in your life, I'm the guy for you on the small ship crusing concierge. I do have World Wide Travel cast, which you can get through each one of the sources out there where you can just email me and I'll get you a link to that. And I do the small ship crusing Expo every year and we're planning to do one song September of this year, virtually rather than physically. So people from all who are within earshot of this podcast can play along. So yeah, thank you so much for all that will include links to your travel agency, off the podcast and the small ship, cruise Expo in the show notes that way. If anybody has any interest in attending those they'll be able to find that link right there. So again thanks for being on the show and we look forward to seeing you when we travel there birthday. Cutely. This has been my pleasure. Welcome everybody.

"On the parents kids, it was a form of community. I'd never sensed in Los Angeles. You need, you just don't come together and rally like that. Usually, it's people, you know, from work and and off. But my gosh, there's so that's, that's when a heartwarming story. Denver, you know, and I met the lady that I currently live with. Now, we've been together for five years, bless her heart, I feel like, I've been struck twice by lightning two, lovely, ladies in my life. Oh, that's amazing. And it's so wonderful to be able to do something like that, to be able to give back to the community. And, and although it's just for, like, a brief unite or brief moment song, The fact that you did that, I'm sure that like resumes with those families even to this day. Well here, here's the, here's the epilogue of this. So Beverly was recruiting for a storm killing group. She's a retired educator and she said, we want to go into the end of the classroom and tell stories to the kids so that they can learn. That older folks are not just their teachers and their peers but older folks are nice people that can bring them a smile to. So we have this Storyteller group, we have twenty-five, Thirty people during the term. We go in once a month and we tell stories for about 30 minutes and every month we come back in a storyteller's are here the teachers loved at the kids love it. And of course, I get that wonderful warm feeling in my heart and so we should have several storytelling groups throughout the greater Denver area to do this in each one of the school districts. So, it was a start of something good. I'm grateful. That's awesome. I applaud you for doing that. That's Thursday. That's fantastic. So, speaking of happy moments and good times worse happiest, happy hour in Denver. I don't think you can go wrong. Going to any one of the craft breweries, them all have new beers, they all have happy hours. I would just say go find a Craft brewery and get there between, you know, four and six and have yourself a good. A good time, it's very congenial and you can do the beer, crawl and find a new one. You won't run out. Yeah. For sure. That's why. That's one thing I love about like those beer Trails is that way, you know maybe you don't like the beers at this one, you know. Maybe it's like I'm not a big fruity beer type of person, right? Some of them have a lot of fruit. He's and they get a little weird, right? So you don't like it just go on to the next one and eventually you'll find one that you really like. And you may not go onto anymore, you may just hang out at that one and spend the rest of the afternoon. At that one spot and sometimes the fruity beer will surprise you. You know, they'll put a a bunch of ingredients in New Jersey. They'll tweak over the spikes. You go. Well, they that was refreshing. I would have never tried. Yeah, to your point like sometimes, you know, you're on the tour. Anyways, you might as well just try it anyways. And say you like it and if you don't handle the twin your friends, I'm sure they will, you know, so one of the things I always do whenever I travel is I check out the local pizza. So, what's the best place for pepperoni, pizza in Denver? So I gotta tell you, my favorite place is in Greenwood Village so in Greenwood Village part of the Denver Tech Center for the business side, Greenwood Village for the living side. There's a place called Z Pizza Republica, and if you ever had a pizza from Italy, you realize that it is flat and it is crisp and it is met with fresh ingredients. I have been to a lot of pizza shops here in Denver. I've eaten a lot of Pizza in my life. My ability will attest but that reminded me of the original name is pizza hand-churned. Oh, and flipped everything was tasty. The pepperoni was not something you bought in a supermarket. This was hanging on Rogers wall. I mean the most delicious and then if you're really nice, you ask him to put a little truffle oil on it. Oh yeah. You're you're making my mouth water there. You know. So there you don't feel like I'm at the get on the flight right now and then go check it out. Now, I know that, you know, you and I we met through a group of travel massive and so it's it's a people that know so much about travel and I know that you have your travel business as well. We'll talk about that in a minute. So I know based on all that you have just so many different travel tips that you can offer. What's one of your best travel tips. Here's what I tell everybody make reservations not excuses, do it. We tend to want to help other people and we work our tails off, doing what we do in our careers, when it comes time to giving ourselves a reward, we tend not to do that. And so, you know, I've got a kid that needs a graduation. I've got somebody that needs help here. I'm going to be doing this project and when you say to yourself, well, when are you going to take that bucket list trip? Oh, I don't have time. I've got too many other projects and I say, you know, the clock's tickin. So that's the thing is, everybody knows how to make the excuse, but make the reservations, I don't care. Whether it's go to towns north of where you live, but get away from your page streets, your normal routine and being a different place and the farther out you go obviously the the different. It becomes the minute you go to a place that has a foreign language Evil Dead. Mexico, or Canada. I mean it's amazing when you go to Canada and everything's have French, my whole life, and Southern California, everything was half, Spanish, that was a foreign language experience. It was Grand off. You don't have to go all over the world but certainly, as we are aging, we start to realize things start to hurt and, you know, the body starts to tell us. We're not able to be, you know, jumping up and down and doing all the exports and all that. So if you got a bucket list of the burning in your heart planet, do it, put some money down and pay yourself back for all that hard work in your life. So that's a long trip. The other thing I got to say is, if you haven't looked at your passport recently, you want to make sure that your passports up-to-date, what people don't know. Is there still a large backlog? And usually, there is a backlog for renewing or issuing passports and I've seen it take as long as four months, so if you don't want to pay ridiculous. Was Rush fees or have a third party, walk it in and hand stamp it and you'll pay double triple for that. Look at your passport now and see when does it expire? Because almost everywhere in the world that passport has got to have at least six months left on it from the day, you're planning to come back home. If not, they have the right to refuse, you entry into their country off. So,.

"Never got a hundred and sixty. Oh wow, yeah, I mean that's a rapidly. The temperature shift can happen. That's yep. Being here because we're at Mile High. I mean, 5280 is actually a chiseled into the steps of our Capitol building and oh, we do have this wonderful Capital, we have reached US Mint, which can be toward and you can actually buy a bag of chopped up money, if that's what you like, the capital, you can. Well, I don't know how long we've had some, you know, issues socially. But there was a time where you could go to the capital, that would be a beautiful tour. And on certain days you can actually walk up the spiral staircase wage to the top of the Capitol Dome about four years ago. The capitol Dome was restored with a whole new coating of gold leaf. So it shines brightly on the beautiful day. That sounds General coming winter time. Everything is decorated with lights, and the whole Civic Center is is lit up every year, so, okay, so it sounds like you can pretty much visit Denver any time of the year. You're not going to be worried about too much of Snow obviously it could be a little chilly and things like that but what are some of like the festival's that if people are planning to visit, maybe they want to put on there. The trip around one of these festivals. So what are some of the festival's that occur then Denver dead? Or there's just too many too too, and now he's a beer festivals, one of the big ones. We have christkindlmarket Christmas time. They serve glogg downtown, we actually have a little ice skating rink setup. We have all kinds of festivals throughout the year, we actually have our rodeo, that's the other thing we have downtown, my gosh, we have so many things here so long, we have the the Western Center which has hosted a rodeo and just as they did in the 1860s 1870s they bring the steer down the public streets to announce the rodeos coming. And so we have we have a lot of Western Wear shops and if you ever go to a village, The Western Complex you'll know that horses and bulls have been there. It's hard to get out of your nose or for sure. That's a major event every year we're having next week, as, you know, the All-Star Game for baseball. We have some pretty good teams in this town. So every once awhile, they'll win a pennant or they'll win a National Trophy and isn't that nice there's not a time in this town that I would say we aren't celebrating something. We have a lot of War of the Denver, as I grew up, never was taught to me being involved in the Gold Rush. Well, there was a gold rush here in Denver, and I was never taught about the significance of coal here in Denver, and in Denver col was mind and Wyoming and it travels down by Rail and a lot of what we did with energy and with Lumber and with dog Cattle was all done through the use of coal. Welchol is obviously being phased out so that they're trying to find more renewable energy but it's still it's part of our history and it's it's amazing to me the extent of the history of Denver to the development of the western United States trains are not really well respected here. Matter of fact, most of the hubs that would come from Chicago was come through Denver and then go south they would go straight South Texas and so there's a whole part of the southwest of the United States has no tracks. So Denver was a major rail Hub and that's why renewal of the Union Station is really. So pretty much all of our light rail goes. There are buses go. There are actual train stop there. And then of course, the A train connects to the airport we really don't miss for anything you do. I'm from Los Angeles. I knew I could get any kind of meal at any hour. I knew I could buy any kind of clothing at any hour, have it all here. So I didn't miss that in the slightest change. In the one thing that we didn't have here, but we have now Trader. Joe's. So we my wife will be very happy to know that. Yeah. Yeah. We we have Trader Joe's. And we have dollar signs and we have the 99 Cent Stores in Los Angeles. We have dollar stores here and so, all kidding aside, there isn't a retailer that doesn't have a presence here. We have some high-end malls, we've got off normal malls, every big box. You can imagine as a presence in Denver. Every restaurant chain has a presence here in the greater Denver area. We're about, I would say Monday for different communities. But nobody feels like my community is it's like we're Denver angels. I remember if you lived in the valley dog And you lived in Orange County. It's like two different worlds. Oh yeah, yeah, no, absolutely. I remember, living in an Orange County, we, we call it the orange curtain. It was basically like you can tell Once you walk, you drove through to LA versus Orange County has like like stepping into a different world that's for sure. We always just to say, did you get your shots to come in? For sure. Will miss them. You're sharing all these amazing tips. I know I've learned a lot about Denver, I can't wait to go back and visit again, but now it's time for The Final Countdown and somebody online time for, for one meal, when they visited Denver, where should they go off for the? I have a place that I love it is in the Stanley, Marketplace Stanley Marketplace is the old factory. Where the Stanley Manufacturing need, the jump seats for jet fighter pilots so whenever you see people injecting out of the jet that was made by Stanley Manufacturing. Well they're long gone but the mom Place now has restaurants and so forth and they make handmade empanadas. Oh my empanadas is Argentine Mexico, South America, flavor dish, and it's wrong with all kinds of wonderful, yummy things and it's a hand food so you can eat it while you're walking, they're delicious. And the only way, you know, what's in them, is by how they fold the edge. Each has a unique Shape song. Yeah. My wife loves him to notice. So we'll definitely have to hit that up when we can visit. Now, like you said, you lived in Denver for a little more than ten years which one are you most memorable stories of being their home? My favorite story about being here, I'll be honest, it's how I met my current lady in my life. My wife passed away in 2014 very subtly and I've been married for forty. Four years and a mutual friend. Said we're telling stories. At the Children's Hospital this year for Christmas have a big tree and we own name Good in the lobby. Well, I got there and she had another mutual friend Beverly. And we both were telling Christmas stories, they bring the kids out in wheelchairs. Someone Greenberg, is the parents are there and it was such a heart-warming experience to see people from all over the area come together to give their heart and just see the smiles on these kids. And.

"Resorts that you want up in the Rocky Mountains. So fantastic. So let's assume that we're flying into the DIA once we arrived there and we want to get down to the downtown area of Denver, do we rent a car? Do we take public transportation. Like how do we get around from the airport to the city? And then once we arrived there. We have this wonderful new, a train. The A train terminal actually is inside the airport. So from the airport you can go to the A train and it will take you all the way through downtown and log. You all had the Central Station, which is our recently revitalized Trane Centre. And in the train Center. We have a brand new hotel and we have restaurants, and, and a beer hall and coffee shops, and, and we have bookstores. It's a great renovated. Building gorgeous architecture inside gorgeous, architecture outside and across the street is the Oxford Hotel, which is very classic of Denver renting, a car. All the major agencies are there, you don't need a car. If all she business is going to be in the city center, or if all your business is going to be, when you're going skiing because when you go to Aspen, there's a shuttle bus, that takes you around to all the different slopes, so young. You don't really need a car, unless you feel you want to be more in control of your time. We also have Uber and Lyft. We've got a good taxi system here. Everybody seems to respect a dog. Body else. There's plenty of off-campus long-term parking at the airport or short-term parking, right by the terminal. I usually take an Uber myself either because I figure by the time I would have the hassle parking and pay for parking. I just get dropped off and got picked up in a way, I go. So that's my way of flying in and out of the city and my car sits in my garage that makes life certainly so much easier. So, say we take, you know, the A train into downtown and things of that nature from there were should we plan on on staying as far as booking a hotel? Should we say that that downtown Porter or is there someplace else that we should look at? So, I would say that the downtown Corridor for your first time in Denver, is a great central place to be. There are things that you should be seeing due to the north, the West, the south east. If you go west and the lovely part about Denver is, if you see mountains, that's the West. So you always have your compass orientation and wage. 14000 foot mountains. The mountains are always visible. Unless it's raining. We hardly ever have cloud cover or small gear? So you can always tell what Foundation you are. So the city center has got the zoo. It's got the main library. It's got the art museum. It's got the Museum of Natural History. We have golf courses. We've got restaurants, we've got movie theaters. We have the Denver Center for the Arts has 5 theater. Venues everything. I'm a little in the round theater to. We have our own opera house. We have our own musical theater performance venue and we have just so many wonderful classic historic buildings to if you remember the Unsinkable Molly Brown. Well Molly Brown actually was a survivor of the sinking of the Titanic song. And her husband built the Brown Palace. And so, the Brown Palace Hotel is a triangular hotels in downtown. It's so classical you go in and it's beautifully. Carpeted wage, wonderful, brass, fixtures and Hardwoods everywhere. It actually has a tee time with atti service very much. Like, if you've ever been to Vancouver, but very classic bought a very elegant. We have a Four Seasons, we've got oh my gosh, you name it. We've got it. We have a JW Marriott. We have a four seasons of the high end at the low end. We have a lot of everything. So you could stay here in town, I would think easily. From $75 to $1,000 a night depending on your taste much of downtown is walkable. We do have a light rail system that will get you to different places. There are several communities that we have, we have the Denver Tech Center. We've got Cherry Creek. We have going North Palm. Lakewood all of these are communities that you can go and visit. I wouldn't think you'd do that on your first visit here. You probably want to just focus on downtown. Oh, we also have a wonderful basketball arena. We also have a fabulous, very it's new but it's classically. Designed baseball stadium. And of course you might have heard that we have Mile High Stadium for this Broncos, football team, you might have heard of. And so if you love sports, we've got it all. And if you're into amateur sports, we have a whole bunch of soccer fields and Tennis Courts, found a concert venue just to the north of downtown and we are also one of the few cities in the United States that has a professional rugby league in Glendale, which is just south of downtown. And so there is a Rugby field of the ladies where the national champions last year. The men were national champions two years. Or so, very good quality rugby. If you're into that sport, hasn't got the same traction As baseball or football yet, but you know, those that are into rugby realize, just the bumps on your shins are Badges of Honor earlier. You mentioned that your friend actually recommend, you come out probably seeing that sound like it was like wintertime and from understand like, Denver does not have as bad of a winter as you might suspect, right? I guess all the snow is primarily up in the mountains and based on the elevation of Denver and just the conditions, they may get a little chilly but it's not your three feet of snow. Like you, like you might think. Well, the beauty about how Denver was created, it's, it's the Confluence between the North Platte River and the Colorado River and the Cherry Creek. And all of those things came together, which is always how Town's got started in the old old west, but it's just east of the Foothills log. Rocky Mountains. And what does that mean? I mentioned, we have fourteen thousand foot mountains here, right? So, all the weather, blows up and shoots everything really high. And by the time, the precipitation normally hits and touches down. It's in the Eastern Plains, which is why we grow all of our fruits and vegetables and our corn and whatever we grow on the Eastern Plains. We used to be part of the package is territory and all that flat land that used to be part of Kansas. We have a bit of it and that's east of us in the Eastern Plains. And so the central part of Denver what is subject to as massive swings of temperature. And so the thing I tell people is be prepared to wear layered close. So this is true. I got up one day and it was a hundred degrees and the next day it was 35.

"Welcome to the show Haley, pleasure to be here. Today, we're talking about Denver, the mile high city. We've done an episode before with my friend, Michelle Jackson, but it's good to come in. Walk back into the City and learn a little bit from you as well. Thank you. It's my kind of town. I gotta tell you. I love it. Awesome. So you're actually a transplant from, you know, where I used to live in L and you've been in Denver for about what about a decade or so, little more than a decade now. Yeah, so what brought you to the city? So here's the deal. When you get up there in age and my real home is, I'm in the travel world and all of your clients, tell you, oh, I used to live in Chicago. I lived for a while in Paris, I lived up in Vancouver and my whole life. I was born raised educated spent, most of my career in Los Angeles and I said to my wife we've never lived anywhere else. So we had just sold our home and we said, well, we have an opportunity, we got money in the bank, nothing holding his back off. All the stuff has been cleared out of the garage and we decided. Okay, let's look at our top five or six cities and we looked at the central part of California. Gorgeous was because of the budget at the time. We looked at Boise, Louisville, we looked at Austin. Austin, almost got me. I have dear friends family that are in Austin and would spend many a Christmas there and you know, people go, Austin, you want to move to Texas? I don't know. Know know, know know, Austin's weird and got a wonderful sense of humor. And of all the parts of Texas as the only place I'd want to be. But a friend of mine that I was really, really buddy. With when I was in Los Angeles had moved to Denver seven years before and I will before you make a choice. He says come on out here, come on out here for Thanksgiving. Well middle of November December. What am I going to need knee? High boots? You know for the snow this is come on out, So he takes me in his car and he drives the two of us all the way up to Fort Collins and then he drives the Ridge Route. All the way down to the springs. And I'd never seen so much Beauty in my life and the only thing that was missing off of my bucket list. Was it, didn't have an ocean view and I reconciled. I said, well neither does Austin. You know, Austin has lakes in the middle of the city that we've got beautiful lakes and rivers, and all kinds of wonderful things to do. But I would not have picked a better City. I love Denver. There's such an open space to it off, you know, you're from Southern California. Everything is crowded. Your vision feels like it's very limited with buildings and traffic everywhere and you go here and you look up. And the sky is wide open. I've never felt so free in my life. So nobody can call me a native Denver, right? But I gotta tell you, I'm home. Going anywhere, I love this place and I hope anybody just listening to this would would come and see why Denver is such a lovely place to visit. Don't get carried away. Want to move here though cuz she has gotten very very expensive cuz a lot of people want to move here. That's also I mean when we considered places to move when we were leaving California Denver and I are both on our high, on our list, before we ultimately settled on Nashville and all the times I've been to Denver, it's been a wonderful place to kind of walk around the downtown. Try all the different local beers and, and food and everything wage. And the scenery is hard to beat, that's for sure. Well, we are now the Beer Capital used to be Milwaukee and, you know, had its breweries but he's not here. Not only is this the large breweries, but we also have the king of the craft breweries and we have every year we have the American Beer Festival. It's at the convention center off. Line circles around the convention center to get in. Obviously the cost of admission. Let you taste as many samples as you can handle. I've got four little craft breweries within walking distance of my home. Everywhere you go, people are making beer and they're putting their own little spin on it. They're adding fruits or there any spices, and they have their seasonal. So, if you love, beer song, birds Denver's, the town to come and visit and every season, you can always taste something new. And of course, then all the restaurants are trying to do, you know, plating things. So, if you've got sweet, dear, let's come up with a dish that matches. If you've got a park or a Tangy beer, let's do a plate that matches. So, everywhere you go, this is a good food destination to match off the beer destination. Absolutely. Yeah. I think the last time I was there in Denver, I went through the, the visitors bureau, and they actually have maps of all the beer Trails. They're, they're downtown and so you can walk around. You can check all the dog. And after a few places, you probably not able to walk as easy cuz the the beers are good and they are strong, but it's definitely a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. The other thing about downtown Denver though is you're absolutely right. It's a walking metropolitan area. I go to a lot of cities and the downtowns are not what people would do, other than go to work and we have the 16th Street month old with free bus, transportation up and down. And so, you can dine you can go to a movie, you can go to the theater, it just is cross has everything that you want to and of course lots of places to live and lots of places to work in the heart of downtown Denver, let's take a step back for a second match for the people that aren't familiar with Denver as far as how to get there and everything like that. Let's talk about flying into the airport. So obviously Denver International is a really big airport but there's some other airports as well that are nearby there. So if you're looking at flying in I guess it's a matter of what type of activity log Going to do when you arrive there in Denver, right? Well, Denver or Dia is our major airport, it's a hub for United Airlines. It's a major hub for Southwest Georgia, but all the major carriers fly in and out of here and it is an international airport. So we have some connections that are non-stop to Paris non-stop to London non-stop to Frankfurt from here. You can get almost anything we're in the middle of the country. And so, it's interesting that from here, I can connect almost anywhere in North America, very easily. There's usually one or two stops because we're in the middle. But the point is, I don't have to worry about not getting a flight in a reasonable time, anywhere. Yeah, we also have the Colorado Springs Airport, which is a large Regional Airport. I'd compare that to Burbank over LAX. If he had Southern California Connection and it's, it's surrounded by the Air Force Academy. It's surrounded by an Air Force. Bass, so are service in Colorado. Springs is a very, very big thing. Not as many flights. Not as many carriers, it's the hub for Frontier Airlines. We also have a nice when you're going skiing from either location, you can take a commuter flight into the Aspen Airport. So you there's a shuttle bus, you can take, or if you prefer, they'll handles your skis and just fly you right into has been. And from there, you can go to Brick and you can go to all the different ski.

"Forty seven minutes after the hour comeback canceled. Tom brady mark really. How about you get a defense good enough to cancel tom brady. I don't like this whole coward who we play on. This program are on this station. He used to say okay. Lebron the nba doesn't need you anymore. Go on and do you can retire. Now it's safe. The nba is in good hands. Why are we in this position of wanting this greatness to go away i mean as long as tommy bones still winning titles lebron james to win titles why would they go away. It doesn't make any sense. You might be annoyed. Great encourage your team encourage your neighborhood football team to get a better defense. I love the the negativity toward. Tom animated he cracks me up. You're tired of hearing it. Do you get tired of hearing michael. Jordan's name too. I mean i don't did dudes doing something historic continues to be an historic quarterback. I mean you talked about this colfax before the super bowl. What's this going to do to mahomes legacy now. Because not only does he have to catch tom and super bowl titles but he lost head to head in the biggest game in the biggest game. And i mean yeah. The defense was all over. Tom on the other side did what he had to do him to help his team win. I mean what canceled tom. Brady ya no i. Isn't that like a thing in sports is like putting someone into retirement because you beat them. They're so good. Yeah for force them to go out. I mean you. You were sick of peyton manning. Well i mean finally time just bought a caught up to evolve. Time caught up to them. You know it's. I don't understand it because like lebron st do the due to still sky high when he dunks abandoning. He's doing things at an older age that none of us can imagine tom brady to know. I'm definitely not one of those guys. I respect and appreciate greatness. are there players names. i get tired of sure. Are their actions. I get tired of like again. Lebron has some annoying flopping tendencies. That drive me crazy but basketball wise. When he's playing actual basketball i pretty. Much unstoppable forty nine minutes after the hour do to auto taylor. We know that everything revolves around technology so having a skilled technician paired up with cutting edge vehicle. Diagnostics is just as important. That's auto taylor in greeley. I take my cars to them vehicles to them and they've been taking care of me for very long time. Texter says so. Do you tank keep lock. If you don't take your right back to where you started a no-man's-land i just again. The price is too much for the shawn watson. I just think it's way too much first round pick or a first round number nine and next year's number second round pick the maybe a player farming. You're talking what three four five six seven you're talking seven eight players and yes i agree draft can be a crapshoot but if you give me three chances of draft in the first round i'm gonna exp- your terrible your job then i'm going to expect to one of those guys to turn out and that's why you brought payton here. What's the number one reason you think the number one flaw elway has had kind of the draft right just quarterbacks mostly mostly the quarter quarterback situation the draft all that george peyton coming in. That's that's where he's supposed to be at specialty. He said when got hired to build to the draft. That's where elway has struggled. I mean he's had some hits but for the most part he's had more misses first round all the way to seven. So this is your chance to get george beatty take a crack at it right now early and this is hopefully. This is your best draft pick. You're going to have in a while. I don't know that. I'm saying i believe drew lock. But i'm saying if pat shurmur can find a way to make this team a better rushing attack a better running team more consistent figuring how better you know not running phillip lindsay up the god on third and inches you know given feeding the high hand more getting a feel for who the guy is. Can it that right. And then if vic fangio can get the pieces he needs to create this monster defense. I think that's how you're going to win games. That's how you'll do it. I think that's the playoffs eight minutes until the top of the hour. We'll take a short break my game of the week. We'll get to that coming up next. I always put out my game of the week. "Vegas. It's the legendary bootlegger Italian bistro where celebrities and locals gather open. 24 7. It's true Vegas, baby since 1949. From the legendary bootlegger Italian bistro in Las Vegas thinks he's breaking bread with below here again from some liberty table. Food is dead, said his gas AM Dennis Bono and welcome back to breaking bread with Bono. In my special guest. Murray saw Chuck Murray the magician, and he's taking us on this wonderful humorist. Journey to be finally gets to Las Vegas and he's Murray, the magician, and you get a job at the frontier. Yes. And so you've reached. I mean is I looked it up. This is the pinnacle. Yes. The entertainment capital world reach Vegas and you're this is there's nowhere else to go. Yeah, it's a big deal. So but anyway, you end up in this production show. Yeah, well, I had my own sister. What happened is I mailed into these producers in l a somebody phone back and said, Let's we're gonna meet you. So I'm living in the land of the time I fly out and meet them and we're sitting there and runs a guy who liked me. Got your money, Johnny Carson. The way you do your jokes and that night and I just start doing jokes like that, man. You know, I was 28. I lied. So that comment told you that's right. Wait. Back drunk, Kelly said. Lucky entertainer Don't just be a magician. Does your funny I gotta know if I'm funny. I'm funny, Offstage, but on stays olden ball game, So I drive across Italy set up my show in a week and I opened at the frontier. And once you get I said I was ready. I was ready. Let's name this is a cruise ship is my thing I'm always like I always say yes. And I'm just women like mad. You. Yeah. You said that was that was important. Just say yes. Just say, figure it out after Yes, I still say that the young kids who want to start the business just say yes, but make sure that you're ready to swim a long ways to get to your goal because it's not easy. How do you go from a magician to an illusionist now to how do you get onto this? All of a sudden, because America's gonna fix the Taliban started talk about overnight. Yeah, I'll let you know that kind of visibility is unbelievable. So what happened is I started doing the show and I thought we were in Vegas is I've made it this is it didn't feel like I made it. But I was on the strip like she was right beside the right below. The margarita signed margaritas. I think we're like $15. My show's 12 95 I kid you not I have the photo. Honestly, I'm like, Well, you know you made when you said the margarita sign on the front you with Gillies Gillies is the big clubs. They're tricking. Really? Yeah. And I was made a joke. When I walked on the stage that's going Thank you very much as I changed my name to Gilly on. We have a nice marquee out there. That was my opening joke. Because he's bigger than my mind. You barely could find it. And so I saw this great show on TV. The time reality was coming reality TV and reality TV crap. You know, I really thought it was and I thought this will never last. Just like rap music we thought was in the last And I looked at this. There's a guy on American Idol like second season, their third or first name, William Hung any sung this song she bangs, she bangs, corpus horribles singer and horrible. It doesn't even a word, but the worst singer I ever heard in my life, but he became so famous. He was doing $30,000 corporate sing. She bangs, she bangs William Hung on reality TV s said. I've won 20 won awards. I'm the world champ. Magicians Point I've toured the world. I've been to Japan all over Europe. I've been on cruise ships for years. I've made some of them. But you don't do she banks. Your bank. Exactly. I know Now we do the bags back now. So so, Yes. So I thought, Well, this is amazing. Maybe I got a look in this reality thing. Well, the only reality show I could see the time that I could get on possibly was blind date. They've never had images were like the dating game. It is dating game but real time and you go this girl you never met. Some of the girls and they have these thought bubbles that pop above your head that a ridiculous of what you're thinking when it's not what you're thinking. And so I did that. So I pitched them saying I'd love to do the show on. I'd love to take my date to the Magic Castle. Holly looks they just started playing that and they brought me back When you know we've been trying to get in there for years. We can't get in. They will not allow it. So you have to be magicians right and you have to have a way in. So I wrote them saying, We're getting give you press on blind date in blind date was one the biggest Rating. Reality shows in history. It was crap TV, you know, but it was that thing at the time and American Idol just started. This goes back to your marketing. Yes. Oh, sure. I know what I was doing. I know the date. Couldn't I didn't want to be a girl. But you know, so we went on this date. The Magic Castle clears my castle, and they were thrilled. The production team was like, I can't believe we're doing a day at the Magic Castle. It's all of a sudden it's not this reality things not so backs. It aired and also deals starting to see me. Then I started listing for Reno 911 on comedy Central. I got that show on Then I'll sort Of course I started vision for a G T. And finally he came around, and I thought, you know, I gotta start doing reality thing because this is where exposure? Who cares how many awards I have. It doesn't matter because the exposure is going to get on television. Ridiculous. And I thought I don't know how to get things I I mean, That's incredible days. The producer Johnny Carson, I'm not good enough to get Johnny Carson. How do I? How do I get in the damn tube? Without being, you know s Oh, I am. So I started applying every reality show on TV. And to this day I've done over 25 reality shows the leader Don t done everything except survivor and a couple amazing raising. And I've done everything because I realized I look ridiculous with the messed up here in the glasses. That was my branding. Yeah. If you see me at home, I'm ripped jeans with John Deere hat fixing my old cars. That's what I just really who I am. But I realized need to create a persona like Phyllis Diller. Like Joan Rivers like character. Unique, you, Howard Stern, Unique stamp. Yes. I wanted to start looking at that and started branding myself to look like a celebrity. Even though I was just trying to learn how to become one if I was ever gonna, because you do you do, you know, did become one. Obviously, you made it and act in this town. This town gets into your bloodstream hurt us once it gets into your bloodstream. I don't believe the drug. It's it is now being the entertainment capital of the world is going through the worst time because of the pandemic. Took over 19 and entertainers or sort of bottom of the totem pole. Unfortunately, where do you see this going? How do you? How are you dealing with this as a zoo performer as an artist? And where do you see what? What's your outlook on the future? Sure. Well, you know you love this town since 2002 even here even longer, you know? You have a success. I played planet Hollywood to Tropicana. I've been on more reality shows and I need to be on. You know what a GT 22 million people over tonight so you can't buy that You can't buy that. And so you have all the success. You're going to 2020 right? And I'm now Tropicana and literally When this thing happened, I had two shows in Las Vegas Strip. This is unheard of. It's hard enough to have one on my girlfriend. Who's Danny? She's the host of Crazy girl. Right? PH. I have my short Tropicana and now I just got hired by need a man to be the guest comedian comedian now believe or not, after all those years trying to be funny. In a fantasy, which that show's been around since 20 years. Been here, 20th So great talent is about you. And before the whole world felt, which is what? Molly Brown march. 15th. Lisa felt for me. Then I was sitting having a glass of wine, My my girlfriend on the back part of her house, and I said, This is unbelievable. Said this will never happen again. Your host of crazy girls, one long running bless shows in America at pH..

"We talk about. How the titanic affected them by having to carry more votes while those boats were really heavy though too they're made of wood So Like nowadays there's inflatable rafts. And stuff and you plan for it before you build the boat so they you know balance at all out absolutely so i already talked about how many people died aboard the titanic but the amount saved was about seven hundred and ten people As a lot of the lifeboats left when they were only half full. Wow yeah we saw that in the movie. Yeah well so sad. They did have Like a rule where women and children need to go first and stuff so if there wasn't women and children around the boat would just take off that they wouldn't even be like okay. A couple of guys can come on board this one they would take off well and also People had trouble getting to the part where the boats were launching as well so it was just a struggle all the way around and you got imagine i mean once you hear that your ships going down there's gonna be total anarchy and ship absolutely good thing. There's people like vox is great. Great uncle that tried to save people and you know comfort people and then the band you know so there were some good people on board there. Oh absolutely so. It was hard to recover the bodies afterwards because it was hard to pinpoint the exact location the titanic went down and also because bodies have away drifting from the site. Oh i mean yeah. You're just floating in a life preserver. Yeah if that but white star line did hire some canadian ships to locate the bodies and they were able to find three hundred and twenty eight of the bodies. The canadian ships and then ships. That just happened to be passing by found five bodies So a total of three hundred and thirty three bodies were recovered. So there's a lot more bodies that were not recovered. Sadly they never will because when they finally found the titanic in nineteen eighty five. They notice the remains were probably eaten by fish and other wildlife and just kind of disintegrated. Yeah but they couldn't eat the shoes So they see a lot of shoes in the debris area around the ship. Wow that's about. All i have for the hashtag pat fax shake pathak's there's a lot of great Sources that will will put in our show notes if you want to read more lot of good National geographic has a lot of movies and things. If you wanna learn more about. Titanic watch when i sent you. Yes yeah so they you could. Actually there's one from national geographic where they were able to go down and take all these pictures of the ship and then put them into one One like model where you could see it in the daylight right out the water. Yeah they recreated it so the wreckage so super interesting and they tell you all the time how you can see it. In the daily like i noticed matinee back and yeah there's a and obviously if you haven't seen the movie. Titanic you definitely need to see that movie. And there's some there's some inconsistencies with of course but it's good and you get to see some of the famous people that were were on the ship. Like the unsinkable. Molly brown From mentioned john her and my story. He was probably one of the most famous on the ship. So and you could draw her. Like of your french girls you jump. I jump jack all right. So we're gonna take another break and then we will come back with the debate.
