"I saw a bunch of people screenshot it because I think so many people were blocked that so many people had to screenshot it. Last night, the European Ryder Cup account tweeted out something about incredible touch from Francesco molinari just a clip from whatever. And the impulse to responded to it and said, what's really an incredible touch is the players that help build the rider cup Europe brand with other players as well. You just can't bring yourself to say simple, happy birthday. The Sergio Garcia birthday yesterday, unfortunately this says so much. Wait, what? He wanted the writer cup. He's mad. The writer, Europe account, didn't wish Sergio Garcia, happy birthday, the day before, which he also outed himself as Michael Scott himself because his birthday is today. So what happened then was Liv golf had not tweeted happy birthday to you bother either. So Liv golf 16 minutes after that tweet for me and poulter tweeted happy birthday to folder. Well, I think he's doing this comically. Well, also, I do not. You are also a huge birthday guy, so of course you're going to agree with Ian poulter here. Well, no, I'm not, I think he's doing it. With some sort of comedic tone to it, you don't think you think he's legitimately taking to Twitter to wish himself out. You don't think he's being like Ian poulter, the fucking jokester. Feeling does anyone want to wish me happy birthday? Come on. 'cause there's such live undertones. I think he's literally like the European writer cup has completely abandoned all of the players that built European crazy. And that's very clear in that they're not wishing us happy birthday. I mean, the last sentence I can't take seriously. I followed him for as long as I could before he blocked me. get and maybe I'm just completely misunderstanding the comedic genius. That is Ian poulter. But I think he's mad. Wow, yeah, that says a lot about him, I guess. From what we've heard from people that are close with Ian poulter, I thought that he had enough comedy in him to be able to make that joke and be like, is anyone gonna wish me? Like, Michael Scott joke, like saying, you guys don't even wish the people happy birthday on the team, Sergio yesterday, and clearly it's his birthday as his tweet in that. It's very funny to me that if he actually is trying to do that, it's the live undertones that make it less. And the Michael Scott comparison like Michael Scott's not joking. He's like very much once I'm happy. He's like rattled that people. Right, which isn't the same for someone to do that in real life is my point. It's like you have to be so honest. That's our point. Yeah, I agree. That's exactly right. Listen, I mean,

"Somewhat recently. Oh, it was Francesco molinari. I think you had a hybrid in his hand. Or I don't know, I guess I don't remember what it was, but he topped it right off there. It went maybe 8 yards. I think this is a famous one as well. It wasn't some can. He was like, leave the parliament and he just three went into a path, and he literally tops it along a floor. Oh God. Dude, it could happen. How good is it? It can happen. What a game. What an insane game. We were talking on last show about how we love PGA Tour live whenever you can get into it because you can get into a full round, whereas when you're watching the coverage, they just kind of aggregate the best players that are hitting the best shots, you know? And you don't really see the ebbs and flows of around. And I think that one of the biggest misconceptions is that you guys, PGA Tour players, are the best players in the world, just hit every shot pretty much perfectly. And they don't realize that there are stretches where the guys just not hitting it good at all, and you guys are just way better at turning those stretches into even par or one over instead of like a disastrous 42. Yeah. I think that's one thing the PGA two is trying to improve, you know? Because like you say, you want to see the guys who are leading the tournaments and absolutely striping the shit out of it, you know? I would like to see more people grinding to make the cut on the coverage because some of the things that start happening then. I mean, it's good value for the obviously fans and customers, you know? Yeah, I mean, there's times, like you said, someone's trying to grind to make a cut who hasn't made it cook like me and not 8 events. And I'll hit one over a fence. Because I'm shitting myself, you know? That's what you want to see. Right, that's good TV. Yeah. And then Q schools, I mean, like you said, this week, the contrary guys trying to get the PGA Tour cards, ultra, ultra high pressure situation. I mean, if you could record every single place week or every shot and pick the best ones, I'm sure you'll see some crazy things in there.

"Standing in was about 3000 ft² of turf. Not a sports field or a picnic area, just a decorative space dividing the parking lot. So molinari's department realized they could take the grass and its sprinklers out and no one would miss it. Which ultimately will result in approximately 330,000 gallons of water savings every year. These kinds of water saving opportunities across Scottsdale have helped the city's government cut water use 8% so far this year. The city announced water reduction goals about a year ago shortly after the federal government declared shortages on the Colorado River had gotten so bad. Southwest states would start facing cuts. The cuts don't affect Scottsdale's residential water supply yet, but Brian B smyer with Scottsdale's water department says the city wanted to act early. The condition on the Colorado is getting worse and it appears that it will get worse before it gets better. So we thought it was the right thing to do. These Myers department has asked individual users at homeowners associations to cut their use by 5%. So far, residential users are about halfway to that goal. But these my art wants the city to lead by example. They're upgrading faucets, in city buildings, and turning off some fountains around town, and Scottsdale is also looking at new options, like how the city manages its water mains. Sometimes water sits too long underground, and it needs to be flushed out to ensure what comes out of taps is clean. They'll typically go to a hydrant in the flesh thousands of gallons out of that vein to keep the water fresh and it just dumps on the ground. The city hired a New Mexico company to bring in a new technology that can filter that water and put it back. So far, beast mirror says that saved the city about 3 million gallons of water. That's a tiny drop in the bucket compared to the shortages in the Colorado rivers reservoirs. Still, Sarah Porter, director of the Kyle center for water policy at Arizona state university, says Scottsdale's 2.5% citywide reductions over the past several months are noteworthy. That's nothing to sneer at. But Porter points out only about 20% of Arizona's water goes to cities. We ought to be conserving, but we also need to keep in mind that the Colorado River issues go beyond turning the water off while we're brushing our teeth. She says cities are going to have to adapt in the years ahead. So while adjusting sprinklers or taking shorter showers won't end the drought, those actions can help local water managers. We're helping our city to stretch the water supplies the city has to cover more users. Beast Meyer says that was the idea behind activating Scottsdale's drought plan earlier than was absolutely necessary. We're hoping that by voluntary cutbacks now that alleviates the need for mandatory cutbacks in the future. Because for a city that relies on Colorado River water, the future looks a lot drier for NPR news, I'm Catherine Davis young in Scottsdale. Schools across the country nominated their athletes of the year last week. The University of Pennsylvania chose swimmer Leah Thomas for the NCAA woman of the year award. Thomas made headlines back in March when she became the first known transgender athlete to win an NCAA

"Further. How do we feel about Webb Simpson stock which went down 26% in Q two? So in retrospect, molinari was the one of James pick was like a really clever investment. It was kind of like roll I was hoping web Simpson would play to me coming off an injury really consistent before his injury thought he was going to play quite well. Obviously didn't happen, but I'm just, I can't take a 25% loss on my balance sheet right now because then I'm going to have to make something up in that place. So it's better off to just try to let it ride and see if it gets a little higher. That's my thinking about keeping it well. All right, I'm just going to try to make sure I can track this appropriately right now you've got 9 you're talking about selling off essentially a full share of Keith Mitchell. Yeah, I was like 9.95. I bring that down to 9 and then that shouldn't give me enough for 9 shares of can jump. We trust lkd LLC to really crunch the numbers. You got great CPAs over there. I know, I know you guys do everything by the book. I will take the reins from your Luke, slightly disappointed that you really only move in one holding around, only because I know you're one of the most creative bookies out there. I would like to just interject and say, wow. Because in almost any organization, when you see the type of underperformance and dare I say failure that you would see that you're seeing right now at lkd LLC, heads are going to roll and you kind of have to wonder about the leadership in charge of that place. You know, like I said, Dylan, that I may have been early, but I wasn't wrong on some of these. I think DJ is going to come good. I could see him winning another major. Wasn't that far removed that he won his last major. Tony for now has been underperforming. It's true. But I think that he has been showing signs of life recently. One last year, you know, it was a slight adjustment after that win, but I think there is enough there to not completely write off these two things. And at the end of the day, if the shareholders want to quibble with my leadership, we can address that at the end of the year. Look, Luke, yeah, you don't have to explain it to me. It's really just, it's the board. It's the shareholders. I mean, I think I'm not invested. I'm taking my money elsewhere, so it's not really an issue for me personally. I would just like to say, I think I'm doing my fiduciary responsibility to the shareholders in not taking the loss on some of these holdings. I'm going to let them play out so I think the value is there. By diving into Cameron champ, you are doing your fiduciary best for your shareholders..

Augusta's 12th Hole Is Notoriously Tough
"About. Dude, that whole so dirty. I mean, remember, remember when Tiger one, 2019, molinari was, he had a multiple shot lead in that hole, and he just, I mean, he tried to flag it and that's how Tiger freaking won. And I think molinari hit the tree on his third shot on 15. And then it was just over, but yeah, Tiger hits it to like 50 feet on 12 or whatever. And that hole is so dirty. I mean, it seems tough. I'm glad that I'll probably never have the opportunity to play it and be

"And all of a sudden they're standing next to it. It feels like they came out of the TV. This is the sort of thing. It's also the shots they hit it. Like DJ hits the shot and puts it like three feet. He barely even looked at it. It's like all right, fuck it. All right, fine. Then I'll hit the chip from here and just like, boom. Like barely lined it up. We watched varner make one varner, I think, has potential as a charisma guy in person. Like the crowd was really into him. He just seems relatable. He's big feast or famine guy. She was a basketball player. He definitely be like Jordan Poole. 33 points one game and maybe like ten the next who knows. But for the most part, you're right. Everybody roots for everybody. Everybody just wants to see a cool shot. Nobody wants anything bad to happen. Never want to be there for like a triple boat. Like cam Smith today at 12. Nobody wants to be standing there for that. Watching this guy just completely melt down at the worst time. All right, and you're right. You're right about all that. And actually, when you put it that way, like maybe it'd be great if more things were like that instead of searching for that negativity. And I've been there, it is one of my favorite sporting events. It exceeded all expectations. It's one of the few things I've ever gone to, where I was kind of annoyed that I gave the passes for Saturday to my Friends, thinking like, all right, time for three days, I'll have it. I wanted to go back in on Saturday, but you know, whatever, I'm just trying to do my Friends a favor, so I bounced. I was lucky enough to go up with homa. He invited me and a couple guys down here. Yeah, we went up to Riviera, and we did the pro am, walk with him on Wednesday. And so we just walked with him. And the thing that's always the craziest about. And real golf people already understand this. But just how many times you guys see it, somebody off the T where they're screaming for, they've got the arm up left to right. And then ten minutes later, they're putting for par. To see when you all happens to see the corrections to see the approaches. Like it's one thing with the drives and the putting and all this stuff. But to see the approaches where what they're aiming at and what a misses for them and how consistent they are, the flight of the ball, it's just to see it in person, not that it's any different than any other sport that you see in person realizing like how special these guys are. But I've rarely had as good of a time at a live event as I did at the masters. It's that great. I actually think it's done, but I haven't been to F one yet. I think it's the number one, I can't believe how hard this is. In person. Like when you see, especially that master's course, some of the holes, the 18, just how narrow that is and some of the shots they have to hit. And the fact that there's just people all around them on every shot that they just have to kind of shut out. And the level of concentration you need. Tennis was a little bit like that for me, seeing it in person with good seats for the first time. When you're seeing how hard it is to return somebody's first serve when it's a 130 miles an hour and just these guys in the bat and how they're just moving before the guys even hitting the ball and they just kind of know left to right and I was amazed by that. But you're right, every sport has something. I think basketball probably translates the best to TV for how amazing it is. I'm going to guess that watching F one if you had a good vantage point in person. It's got to be. A little bit more daunting. Yeah. I would say that's got to be, I mean, they have to be coming so fast. You would probably have no idea where they're even coming from. Last thing on the masters, the twelvefold. So cam Smith melts down today and you know it right away. Goes in and it's just like, they might as well, somebody might just come on the course and just shoot them in the head. It's just done. It's Joe Pesci, Goodfellas. This is a wrap. You just know it. But I was looking, I was researching all the things that happened on the 12th hole and it really is. It really has had some great there was apparently an Arnold Palmer thing in 1959. He had a triple wise coffin that today he had a plus 13. He went in the water 5 times, and he was like one of the favorites. Greg Norman, obviously 96, Mickelson O 9, mcelroy, 2011. Speed, I think, is the most famous recent one. And then molinari went in there and that set up the Tiger one, but I don't feel like I think that 12 fold dates better PR. I think when they show it when the master shows it, we need that conjuring music..

"It's been a decade. Almost. Almost a full decade. He had a wicked stretch in 2014. How long ago does that feel? Like, it was very literally 7 and a half years. Yeah. Three quarters of a decade. So you're not crazy far off. I don't want to be selling off all these options that you're no, look, we got ten of them. You're selling a couple. That's okay. I think I'd be more inclined for a reason. I think I'd be more inclined to buy up some Martin kaymer stock than you are, but he's got to find the planet off the tee. I think that that's going to be the key to him. The third guy, Sean, he was actually even lower in the world rankings. These are in fairly arbitrary order. This gentleman is 39 years old. He peaked at number 5 in the world and his career peak was standing on the 12th T in the 2019 masters. He was on top of the world. He'd won the open championship. He'd been all time great in the Ryder Cup. He'd won the Arnold Palmer, invitational, the quicken loans, you'd finish top 6 and basically every event he'd seen. And then Francesco molinari found the water finished T 5 at the masters and was never heard from again. He finished like what, T 11 at the open later in 2019, 2020 he barely played 2021. He had a couple top 20s, he played okay at the genesis, finished T 8, he's finished in the top ten at the American Express the last two years, Sean, I'm not sure how close to the 5th major you consider or trip to Palm Springs every year. But are you buying or selling Francesco molinari stock? Buying. Because not that long ago. A lot has happened since then. A ton has happened for this guy since then, but he's bottomed out..

Now he's quite literally the worst round of the day. He's the only one that's gotten to 5 votes. Who do you think's gonna win? Honestly, my honest thought, Tom hoagy. I know. I'm a little worried about that myself. I'm a Tom hoagie appreciator. There's been a lot of chatter. I'm becoming wildly concerned. He might be a very proper player. Yes. This year, like he is over a stroke gained player now, which is a little bit different. A very different area. He's a flusher. He hits the iron's extremely well. He might hit him better than Morikawa. All right, out of the North Dakota absolutely riding for him too. Did you know how windy it is there? My guy's gonna stick around all week. Out of the top 6 guys. Who will guaranteed who will not win? So honor von hoagie varner munoz Casey and burns. Guaranteed who will not win. And if this guy wins, we'll have you do something outrageous. The guy I want to win the most is honor Bond. Yeah. The guy I'm picking for this category also OtterBox. Upset Sebastian munoz is the least likely to win. Randy? I didn't say least like I said, won't. Won't. Won't win. Incapable. Will not win. I don't think any of those 6 guys are going to win. It's just too long. Too long. You're on Paul Casey. Randy will straight stunt on you for any picks not to win. He will just give me one guy that won't. He will take 25 of the best players. That is Randy's thing. No, I just love the guys. I would take molinari burger cam Smith, Lowry, I just don't think those top 7 under and better guys are going to hold. It's just too much golf tomorrow. I'm so excited to see Paul Casey just, you know, he comes in and he'll go out tomorrow and he'll bogey four, 6, 7, and then birdie a couple coming in to have like a tidy, tidy, like top 15. What are they doing to the court? What are they doing to the greens? I can't imagine much, right? In the morning and what can be done? I don't know. I didn't realize I had a suspicion, but confirmed on the broadcast, there's no sub air out there, which is shocking for a place of exorbitant riches. They have precision air, which I believe is more designed for the Bermuda more than it is the overseed. Because when they redid it last time, it was made. It was placed upon Bermuda not based upon correct. So whatever they have does very little for it. But I think the greens are playing totally fine. All things considered. Yes, I agree. I mean, it turned into a, it's the ultimate example of a golf course. Of course, you know, it's fun when it plays firm. It's fun when it plays fast, it's fun when there's a lot of carnage. It's also fun when there's a bunch of birdies coming down the stretch on 15, 16, 17, 18, and guys have a chance. And it was getting actually kind of fun when it was getting a little dart board out there towards the end of the day today, but it was fun. It was fun to see guys also like who's gonna make a move. After literally four days of just shit weather, it was fun to also see guys hitting it close on 8 and tough holes like that. I didn't see any of any of the front 9 holes this afternoon, but the back 9. There were some really, really fun pins out there too. The one on there was a back right pin on 14, like right on this little knob. There was the pin on 12 was really cool depend on ten was great. They're getting cheeky with it because it's not a turkey shoot. It's not easy. Even with there's so much challenge T to green that even like some accessible pins, dirty pins or with soft greens, it does not mean it's just easy. It's not meaning that every player in the field is going to hit it right there. 6 was about as dart board as it got today in round three, which is a good element. I don't think that this tournament should be a, we need to keep it par needs to be very relevant here or something. I don't think they care about that. I think I usually do a great job of that. It doesn't need to be tricked up. They don't care about what the winning score actually is. And I think they know that birdies are exciting and I think tomorrow's going to be an exciting siding finish. I agree. I hope so. Lord willing. I think if I think if this was 15 years ago and we were in college, we would be saying bad things about those leaderboard. They're on the monkey bars. Randy, I think we're closer to 40 and we were still saying bad things about this leaderboard. It could truly go either way. Randy. It's been like, this is awful. This is the kind of leaderboard that codeine is. We're sending them in to take care of this. Low key though, offer nothing you want to talk about horses for courses. Sawgrass is a bit of a terrorist training facility. There's a lot of guys. Go look at some of those past leaderboards. There's a lot of, they don't usually win. They almost don't ever win. But go look, you know, second to 14th. There's a lot of like, oh gosh, that guy had a chance. Dude, that's why I brought up Doug gim. He was here. Final round, final group or second to last group last year. I think so. I thought I want to say funny. And then lit himself on fire, but he's right back to T 7. He shot 70, 70, and he's minus two. He's -6 for the week. Just slow and steady. It's where I think somebody, the cream will rise tomorrow, I think. There's going to be a lot of stuff to get through. I'll say I've apologized already for my bond take, which I believe we can say was wrong to this point. And that is what I'm rooting for. There will be no, just so there's no confusion. I am team bond for tomorrow. Not until July, my friend. No, we're starting in March. We're traveling now. America's back. We are traveling. Do you want to tell the not till July, my friend that just in case for like super stupid? It's amazing though. First day I met Randy. We used to call him an Airbnb. So we were in Chicago. That's the real problem here. And i don't know what the solution is. The solution is martin figuring out how to play better. Yeah all it could take years like it could take a couple cycles for this itself out until the victim. Homelands become that. But yeah it's it's it's i don't quite nowhere you're goes but there's a real gap opening up and it's dog lay. Will they have rory. They have rom the have young. Hove it was unfortunately apparent. That in the in the losing press conference poject harrington started talking about the young guys who thinks he'll be on many teams moving forward. He mentioned romney mentioned hove. He did not look forward and mentioned maddie fitzpatrick. Who is he's young. But unfortunately that dude had a very tough ryder cup has had multiple tough ryder cups. There's certain things where like like. I put a lot of stock in guys that you know. And maybe this is a mark against Reese burger for instance. But like i put a lotta stocking is daily. When they're when they're in the the mixed just get it done right or like that. This guy has had a bunch of top tens or a bunch of top fives like he was playing. Well he maximizes that. I just don't know if those are those guy i just don't know if like he now's your westwood's like that and you can do the poulter thing but it's been nine years since medina and he was not good in fourteen didn't make tea. I'm not trying to argue on. No i know. But it's like it's it's easy to remember. The peaks was was poulter at one. Time a ryder cup. Yes did he have his moments in france yes. He was five hundred in france and was horrible at gleneagles and didn't make the team at hazeltine. It's like they should've picked. Monte never lost the loss yeah Also going back to two medina hazeltine. Do strokes gain matters much when they put the pins in. I knew is not gonna be genuine. Question was legitimate question like does that. Neuter strokes gained at all. Or is that. I think it i- shrinks the it shrinks the dispersion rate. I think it makes it less of a turn into more of a putting contest right. I think it. I would think it turns into a favorite putter less of a putting contest. Because i don't. I don't know exactly everybody's able to get into everybody green. Everybody hits the green said. You would think whoever makes so it's actually. I am trying to find an argument. For why poulter stepped up in some of those moments in it may be because it's like some of the setups were able to mask his but all striking flaws. Yeah but i think medina was like the one where they put the pins in corners. And only the is there something to be said for like strokes gained in stroke-play kind of mentality is gonna lead you to more conservative lines whereas matchplay especially in like aim aiming to pin you. Aim at opinion. You don't have to worry about the mist you'll have to worry about making double you don't have to worry about the strokeplay elements of like having to hold your ball out and there is a difference in that one hundred percent and like i. We just don't have anything else to measure it like a the. The strokeplay doesn't just become. You know it would take a special breed of player. That i don't even think i would fully understand to be like a bad strokeplay player. And then just be a total minutes and matchplay and i know people might wanna save poulter but like that is a selective memory because it is not always like that. It's not one hundred percent patrick. Read was that menace in fourteen and sixteen and was decidedly not in eighteen. It's just not. Thomas apologized for her to be before we go in word of a quick shout out to our friends at rap. The guy that just sticks algorithm is thirty five or thirty six that is missing in like the the kind of wavered and bounced Bobbed up and down for europe is calmer where he's your guy that's been a stalwart and certain situations and just kind of fade to the background and it should be right in middle of his prime for his ryder cup years. And you look at a guy like him or somebody like rafa cabrera bay or somebody like that and and and then you know the avar akiro's or colts you get guys like that where they're they're very. Yeah like you guys with a little bit of experience. Step up and play well and ryder cup here. That's what's missing this year. That's where the depths they always do have a guy that comes up and is is that dude for the week. I mean peter's went four and one cabrera bail was undefeated. twenty eighteen molinari was. Oh four and two in ryder cup matches going into it and won all five matches. Ot on that note. Lets go around around the horn here. Who do you think that guy will be for europe this year. Like the surprise surprise guy. Yes the guy the guy from the bottom half for you know the bottom eight that you think is going to.

I'm not allowing you to pick leash mun. You cannot gleasman or coke wreck co cracker release. man. I don't wanna hear it. I don't wanna hear you want it somewhat. Divorce off the board then. I'm going to give you a flyer. I'm not taking control. Correct thank you. Who do you got. I think two guys from way off the pack way out of bounds Have a chance to it to make some noise. This with mackenzie hughes is a canadian. Did not handle sunday torrey pines well when he was in that big spot however he's played well since then it didn't like crashes year that he didn't succeed on sunday tori. He's a canadian. Who hits the ball really crisply and mackenzie hughes as a chance to play well. This week i also think there's a guy way off aboard from germany. The schmidt played collegiately here in the states. He wanted earlier this year on the european tour. Yeah he's way off the board like you know five thousand to one or something like that you know if you want to someone in the hundreds that kind of thing but a little higher than a hundred fisher world. Golf ranking take a look at francesco molinari. Played a little bit better. Michael knows this. He hits the ball wonderfully and you know. He was the reigning open champion when he went to the masters in twenty nineteen and rinsed his ball at twelve allowing tiger to go on to win on that sunday. And it kinda wrecked molinari. Well he's played a little bit better of late and this golf course in particular suits him very well and with italy winning the euro cup. Even though i disagree with you. Tony penalty kick suck. You cannot have a fine like that. You cannot have a big final like that decided by penalty. Kicks play it out if it ends like pat lafontaine and four. Am middle of the night and go ahead play it out. But anyway with italy winning the euro final. And i'm not a soccer guy at all. Couldn't tell you one thing about the sports italy. Italy could win another open championship. Just minority could be the darker so take those three. If you're going to be playing anybody off the board that's wonderful enjoy it from royal stanford just in just enjoyed with the bangor's mass that i'm sure they're going to serve at world stanford. Enjoy the burger as is as it'll be the first time in my it'll be the first time in my professional career calling an open championship. The first of all. I'm not doing the interviews. "The first episode where he's he walks into What's your name rivonia. Yet voted rings on the radio. Remember having those bears so foreshadowing potentially that depend too. He looks at that penn and puts it down and those rings may have been from. How many moebius have there been so it. Sounds like the. Tv's been proving people. Whenever they start to get wind grownup. Volna is been keeping the secret. But i do question how much she knew exactly. I don't think she knew that. The timekeepers are fucking robots robots machines their androids which is hilarious. They look like animatronic from the fucking disney park. You know someone put on line. One of my friends put out there. Like basically man like when his first reggie's man these these tv these timekeepers really look fake. So good luck. I suppose disney trolling us. They are fake fucking walrus moustache. It was hilarious. I was remembering back to like my eighth birthday party like motherfucker. These this is the band. From chucky cheese they chucky cheese appeal cheese that i didn't think we get to see them. In the the laser the laser pattern behind them was kinda interesting hot notice. The reminded me when i first saw them when they were standing up there. It kind of reminded me of goes in the ghostbusters triangle. Like smoke line of all like coming down colors say zule. Yeah are you. The gatekeeper captions of one of the two of the tv or timekeepers. I couldn't stay on because they aerobics. Robots mumble fucking mouth so that was clearly so some of this episode seem predictable to me like i knew they were going to find them right away and i called this. They're going to have a wizard of oz moment and they had their wizard of oz moment so the question is who is really pulling the strings curtain. Who is behind the curtain. There's a couple a couple of people. It is one of them one of them. I don't believe being introduced introduced in this series. I i don't see. I think all signs after mid credit scene will point to a yet a nother. Lucky i think area low key okay. Well let's talk about the mid credit scene where you know you see him get a pruned. Sylvia doesn't kill ramona instead. She's like i want you to tell me everything. Well first off. What gets the point is located is falling in love with himself thing mantech more than he found that he has family. Someone he can care for. Loki keys just that. Yeah that he would just fall in love with the super narcissistic and i love the idea that if to join forces all of all reality. That's when you when you fall in when an imran falls in love with a human version. That's not post to having the the way he was looking at her in his voice. Like you can actually hear his voice cracking when he's talking to her. That's not someone that's like looking at a family meant hold on. I ll 'cause i was like. Does he lean in for a kiss. Is there any intimation. He all he does. He grabs her arms and if he grabbed her face that would have been one thing. He does the side of her arms. And he's i dunno. I dunno i think he was grabbing her and he was he was like he didn't know what to say is gonna go for the kiss Yeah we're we'll find out but yeah that is a that is a time breaking event. Apollo love yourself so mid credits scene. He wakes up and he's like am i in hell and in the captions you. It says h e. Yeah which is one of the the realms of asgard where what's her name is his sister. She lives hera. He's like my dad. And you hear richard e. grant's voice go no but you will be. Don't come with us and we see a shot of four fucking logie's three but there's four of them you have richard e grant as classic old loki in his classic costume from the comics. His first appearance. You got kid loki You have a dude. That's supposed to be worthy loki. Or what loki boastful loki. Who is worthy holding the molinari. And i think in the comics. It's a woman. And so they they made it a big black guy and then kid loki is holding fucking crocodile. Lucky which is like frog. Thor loki reminded me of frog. Thorpe throng is frog or so. Maybe he's from that you're so and then in the background. Ucla destroyed york city a ruined tower. And they've just introduced another young avenger and kid loki. What'd you guys make this scene. I was shocked. I you know. Obviously the again they've been foreshadowing locations since the first episode multiple ones. I just didn't think you were actually going to show any any actual looking I didn't see until. I watched a video after i watched the I didn't see the interest. Our the background. Yeah and looking at richard richard grants. Just yes awful costume. Though but i i was just caught up in lucky that i had to go watch it again. Yeah there but i. I was shocked about the. I knew he was going to go somewhere. But i didn't expect new york. And i didn't expect between twenty was twenty twelve in two thousand sixteen or some where the avengers don't win. Yeah yeah. I think that's what they're hinting at. Is that this is a low key version of loki. That one I would say. I was just like oh look i like in my head i was like. Oh this kind of makes sense. They're to go to this path. Where just low keys everywhere. And will i saw more. Not like i was just more like Okay i'm intrigued to see where this goes. i i like. I like the different versions of loki. It seems like this. You know this whole show is about loki. Really and his his place in the universe. And were were were learning that in the multi-diverse there's a shit ton of them and they all they have an important place in this universe. I think that we're we're gonna find out by the end of this that loki key very pivotal to everything. Yeah that's crazy in the marvel and i'm wondering which lucky survives at the end like will we still have this hickson two thousand twelve and keep in mind. This version of loki will not this one but the version we've gotten to learn prior to this series is responsible for creating the avengers loki is is important to their universe. Other loki did get redeemed at the end of end game. You know and like this guy is getting redeemed here. And you're seeing him. Discover an admit you know the whole time loop bit with jamie alexander and stuff. That was great because we haven't seen sieff last time agents shield not technically not in but in canaan for the dark world the last time we saw her. Apparently he's supposed to be in ragnarok. I'll what'd you think of the time loop seat. He got need in the nuts for like thirty minutes. I really feel bad for his nuts. They're out feeling bad at that. Point the end those. Interestingly he finally admits a kind of a shitty person or whatever he craves attention and then she doesn't even the she's still like you always be alone well and that's the thing is that's why i think he. It's not romantic with sylvie. It's just him finding someone not to be alone with. Think okay. Well let's talk about sylvia. I loved the more things we learned about her like. They show us when she gets kidnapped when she's a child taken by the tv and it's a road before she's a judge and then i love that she escapes steals pad and she's been but this girl has been hiding in apocalypse is she grew up. Apocalypse is and we never actually find out what her next. It's event is will remember it or else you.

"George koster your host. This episode is part of our series exploring covid nineteen impact on nonprofits and small businesses in the san francisco bay area back in april of twenty twenty when we decided to create this ongoing series on covid nineteen impact i or nonprofits and then on small businesses in the san francisco bay area. We like you had no idea how long the pandemic would go on. And what the health and economic impact would be in our community going into twenty twenty one. The pandemic is now killing more people shutting down more nonprofits and small businesses on with wiping out the livelihoods of families neighborhoods and communities. We will continue to shine a spotlight on the nonprofits and small businesses that make up the fabric of our community along with the founders and staff who are struggling to deal with the impact of the covid nineteen pandemic on their operations services is an ability until we can all get to the other side of the pandemic along the way we will also share with you all the amazing solutions that are nonprofits. Small businesses foundations and government leaders are working on to help us all get to the other side of the pandemic and come together to rebuild our communities with more economic social and environmental equality. I think also the restaurant industry is such a tremendous industry worldwide right like restaurants so often provide such a vital resource to communities not just in food around just the structuring of communities and making people feel seeing in heard and welcome and i know for all of my locations. We have regulars that are there every day and you get to know them and their stories and without those spaces you realize how isolated and lonely it can be for people. This is the founder and owner of all good pizza tanto and cafe oma kristen howick. Kristen is part of the baby. Women's food entrepreneurs who are change makers and community leaders providing jobs healthy food options and a hand up to their fellow community members. I'm joined remotely via zoom by kristen. Hoke the owner of august pizza tanto and cafe obama. Thanks for being here. Kristen had any. I've been a long time. Fan of yours in august pizza out in the bayview and i would love it. If you provide a little brief history of why you set up a good pizza and then now why you started to more restaurants in the bayview community. Yeah my been a longtime resident of the baby. Oh i've been here a little over twenty years. And when i first moved to the neighborhood i was really struck. By how few restaurants in food options were available in the community particularly because we exports so much food from the community we've got the produce market which has been here since the sixties that feeds the bay area and beyond really. They've you actually used to be called butcher town. A lot of the packing came from this community. And we still to this day. Have businesses like molinari's salami. They've been here for over eighty years ever good. Sausage also has been here for a very long time. All pizza really started for me as a passion project to bring another healthy option to bayview. And i really wanted to utilize the local resources of the community so it was really my goal early on to use only local businesses to source from. And i did that by using veritable vegetable which is a woman on cooperative. That was started in san francisco. Kind of a pioneer actually in organics. And like i mentioned. Ever get sausage molinari's salami chron brioche. Which is a local bakery. That's been in the community for a few decades as well. I've been in the food business for many many years prior to opening all good pizza and when i opened all good i was actually. The president and ceo of an organization called nama stay direct and we focused on predominantly women involved in food businesses in guatemala and southern mexico and and we did a business development program that focused on financial literacy training and business mentorship and also the sources of business capital. And i thought to myself like i love doing this work. But i'm traveling to them all and mexico all the time and where i really wanna be in the so. I opened all pizza. Like mentioned you know as a passion project and fortunately it was well received and i was able to focus fulltime on aug pizza after about a year so i quit working my other job and the rest is history. I've been in operation all good since the beginning of twenty twelve. So we're quickly coming up on ten years. And then you started to launch two new restaurants tattoo and kaffa elm also in the baby do community so tato my son's nickname taco and his dad is from mexico city and his dad's mom wasn't incredible chef interesting thing that i learned in guatemala and in working with the populations that i worked with. There was a really low rate of literacy and a lot of the women who were these phenomenal chefs. A lot of the more modern girls did not want to be in the kitchen. So the recipes that had existed in families for generations or no longer being created so. I set out to do a project with my mother-in-law. She was a chef in mexico. City and i set out to do a project with her to write down all her recipes because we all love her food so much and did not want to lose those recipes. After she passed she did pass two years ago. So i created a sort of homage to her and an amish to my son's latino roots and really just in celebration of the incredible food that came out of the kitchen from her and from my son's father's family

"Brooks cab, Kaz second place, finish his last nine major championships. He has gone first place tied for sixth tied for thirteen first place tied for tonight. First place, tied for second first place. Second place, the first place second place, first place, second place. That doesn't make any sense to me. I mean this guy that's on believable. You're planning a hundred hundred and fifty people. These guys are unbelievably good from Molinari's to tiger. Justin Rose to j t to DJ all these guys and how fucking good. They are at the game of golf, and he comes out here and posts that record in the last nine major championships that he played in its outstanding. The fact that he was that close to going back to back to back at the US open after just defending his PGA championship title in dominating fashion out at Bethpage Black. It's just really you can't say enough things about him still believe to this point. He has just six PJ door wins. Is that right? And he's got four of remainders. He's got that record right there that we just listed in the major championships. The guy is just the definition of a gamer. He brought it today. Shot off four rounds. Believe in the sixties. Yes. I'm looking right here. He's got six PJ door wins four over major championships. And again, he's got that stretch of going first second first second in the last four majors that he's played in. I mean books looking up co. He's amazing. Always looks good on the golf course he lo- is confident. It was it was kind of crazy to see him like have a regular whole on eighteen like where he didn't chip one in from behind the green, and he didn't make the long birdie putt. Like watching him just play a whole like normal offer was kind of stunning, not seeing him like do things that are super human because we're just actually it's he really did. I mean he hit a fucking three would down the pipe. And then hit a three iron that landed right next to the pen on a five hundred fifty yard par five. Yeah. I'm saying from there, though it was just like very average, like kind of like miss hit his. Well, they said was sticky where they say a sticky live ruined saying. Yeah, I was just kind of like Tang, Li you don't know exactly how it's gonna come out of that. Rough brooks. Like puts that either in or like to, to right away. The whole and then, like, then, and then guard has to step up in has to make a par to win like I it's just it was just it was odd to see him. Not be super human and actually testament good. He's for sure. That's insane. Good for Brooks cap cuts against hard to kind of overstate how dominant he's been a major championships for the last couple of years. And there's really no reason to believe that he won't continue to do that with the British Open coming up at a month, and then even just going forward. He he was so close to winning and gust of he would have made a couple of those putts down the stretch on the last few holes tiger had to really, you know, grind it out and not been able to have that cushion coming down and then easily today he could've you could've putted again, a few of those holes coming in. We made a couple bogeys, but then again a couple of holes. I mean eighteen he was so close to have an eagle bidded up making par. And so he's that frigging close on N when he's not even just that close he wins. He's won four majors has years. It's crazy down. So good for Brooks Kapka awesome to watch

"Obviously, let's start. Tiger woods. Okay. He's eight to one which, again I'm going to say is ridiculous. I would never been anybody to win a golf tournament eight to one. But if I had to I probably wouldn't take Tiger Woods in this one, am I wrong in saying? No. You're not wrong and saying that. And let me just preface that by saying a couple of things. You know, Beth page black is a serious golf. Course it is long. It's just a, you know, Scotia under seventy five hundred yards. It's got an incredible incredible slope of one fifty five so for people that are listening that may not be that attuned into golf having a plan. A golf course it has a slope rating of one fifty five is an analogous to climbing by climbing Mount Everest. You know what I mean? It's steep in Scott, it's got a course rating Bryant of a kitsch over seventy seven while that. And combine all of that. I mean it's incredibly difficult. Number two. They expect some weather, you know, whether it be, I think I've Friday and Sunday hole with a chance. A rain and I think that's going to eliminate half of the field, right there number one, because of the weather, and even if they didn't have whether there, Brian, I think half of the field is eliminated because if you're not a bomber on that golf course your chances are swimming to win in my opinion. So and what I've heard about this golf course, the greens are fairly small, it's a, it's a ball striking golf course. So a guy that hits the ball long and straight probably gonna win this thing. But I guess you could say that about many majors out there. Right. So I look at a guy like Brooks. Kapka. Okay, kept is around ten to one. He's one of the favorites I'll tell you right now. I'd rather put my money on captain Tiger Woods. Well, I agree because kept goes is playing very, very good golf right now. Secondly, tiger winning the masters, you know, getting a lot of pricks and winning the masters but a wins a win. Okay, how hard it is to win a major little go back to back and. Win two majors. It just doesn't happen. And I just don't think the, the outer in tiger saver, especially if it is cold and rain tiger does not play good in cold or rainy weather. He just doesn't well, that's because he's a worst. That's what he requires conditions. That's because he's maintenance. That's why Dennis gimme gimme a long odds darkhorse in this thing. Oh boy. Very good question. You know played last week, and I've always liked a lot of. Is he's from whereas from India, big Roly, poly guy hearing that? Not lahiri. No, no cured that copy barn. Right. Okay. He got the length. He's got the game. He's playing good. I said for years, this guy is got to explode in a good tournament. I don't know what his odds are two hundred and fifty to one but how much two hundred and fifty to one, okay, there you go. John daly. Thousand that's my Bubba Watson, sixty two one boys that that's true Bubba is sixty to one, you know, here's another guy who is just no confidence right now. You know who probably I'm gonna say, Jordan speech, right? Your meal. He's people are I hear the most ridiculous thing the other day that there were when George came out, and he had a stellar year, you know, two three years ago, they're going, there's our next Tiger Woods. There's our next tiger was you gotta be kidding me. Yeah. See, that's, that's just completely ridiculous. All I is so far awful lot. It's Redick doesn't hit the ball far enough. That's the bottom line in this day and age of golf to be one of the best players in the world you have to hit the ball, at least three twenty three thirty three forty t. Has a magnificent short game. We know he's going to win more tournaments and he'll probably win more majors. But he's in my opinion. He will never be the number one player in the world ever again. I happen to agree with you. And I think right now with him. He says he's a grobian he's getting better, especially the short Dame as funny, but he's got demons. And I think that's the only thing that's stirring up on the greens, real. Masonic temple and over thinking that people have been saying that for a long time. Yeah. It's going to be interesting to see how long guys it takes for him to shake those demons and and get back to being him. Let's talk a little bit about Jason day. If you ask me, a guy, I wouldn't really call him a long shot because he's about thirty two one in most books. But Jason day has had a lot of success on, Bethpage. He's had a lot of success on this golf course. I know he's not the best player in the world, but he used to be he knows what it's like to win big golf tournaments. It seems like he is getting much back into form. And he's playing some better golf again. He's my guy that I look at nice say, well might might not be a bad idea to put a couple of bucks on Jason day. He said success here, he can win this tournament. And then I look at a couple of other guys like Patrick Canley, like, Tony female these guys that I think are do they've been in contention, and majors before they certainly have the talent to win it, and it just for them. It's just about getting over the hump. Those are a couple of guys, maybe not the biggest household names, but guys. Is that our top twenty players in the world that I think can win tomorrow? Well, I agree with you. I, I disagree a little bit with can leave. And though he's having a hell of a season but you happen to mention the guy where my money's on to win this tournament. That's Tony female. Yeah. He's all the tools. He hits the ball long way Jos the ball. And he he's got a magnificent. Nag -nificant short game. He's an incredible athlete as long as he doesn't sprain his ankle, a couple days before a major. He'll be he'll be just fun. Every did that the masters. Zander Shaw fell doesn't. He owns that the long drive record like four hundred fifty yards. Doesn't he? Zander sharply. Yeah. Yeah. I was not aware of that. I was not aware of that. I mean he's obviously a fine fine player. I just personally, just don't seem in the Knicks on this. I wouldn't you know, think to bet them, but again, anything can happen, J D And don't forget, all these guys are damn good. But there's certain things you have to have on a golf course like this to really up your percentage in, if you don't have I think you're going to be hitting your gifts your head against well, obviously short game and putting anywhere. But you gotta have the lake to gotta get it in the stairway on this golf course. And again, I think they haven't, you know, this, this course, is held what three or four different big big tournaments before and experience is, is really kind of out the window. I think it just got to look at the guys that are coming in that are kind of hot playing goes speaking of hot. I'm glad you mentioned that because Dustin Johnson has a very hot wife and pulling the Gretzky he is let me mention a few guys Dustin. Johnson. I mentioned, his trophy, wife, Rory mcilroy is twelve to one Rickie, Fowler guy. We haven't talked about is right there at sixteen to one Jon Rahm and other one eighteen to one with Justin Rose. And then you have Molinari in D Shambo at twenty two one those guys that I just mentioned. Is it fair to say that, that those odds are correct? And those guys have a good shot to get this thing as well. I do. I do. I think this one they picked it. They take pretty good. You know, again, there's ways that you can play is, you know, playing really, really good golf not being the longest hitter of the world. And most of these guys, you know, have that they keep them play. They've got a good short game. They have a good imagination. And that's, that's what you'd be on any PGA tour event Brian. You know, that's sure. No absolutely

Tiger Woods: Call it a comeback, but don't be surprised
"In the last decade. Tiger Woods still has as many PGA tour wins as Dustin Johnson. And tiger was away not playing for five of those years. Okay. So Scott van pelt is with us. Now what we just saw yesterday can can be announced. Does it have to be a major like it seems pretty clear that tiger's playing tiger Gulf right now. Yeah. For sure I mean, he has for much of the year and. All you laughed, and we talked about what it would take for tiger to be sort of in five by the populace as back or or his popularity to be whenever level. I thought it would take one one major. And I just I think the reaction we saw yesterday. Not a major but a very elite albeit small field. I think tells you yes, he's he's he's he occupies a space occupies in terms of people's courts in mind, which is really actually fascinating to a lot of his. Changes to the level of love, and and the level of to people have they just wanted to see him do this again and that scene on eighteen yesterday. I tweeted something about it. And I believe this to be true. I believe there's one athlete in sports. They could create that scene in an attempt. What do you think about the conversation? You had with him afterward. Did what was interesting about it? He's he's genuinely moved by the level of love people have for him. And I mean, I I've known him a long time, and I've seen all sorts of incarnations of his personality and his level looks status, and I told him years ago, it some version of it. It feels good to let people hug you. If you let them meaning fans that don't don't I get the television that get boxing out. I get it. It serves a purpose. But just let people love you. And this time around he's clearly appreciating and tapping into that he told me in a portion of the that we didn't actually use on the television. I think dot com. I don't know. But he said that this support has helped him he said, it is absolutely helped me during rounds to do better than I might have done otherwise and he blocked out in the past. And now he's using it as as like fuel in a video game or something. And I I think that's great. I think it's just it's reveals a more human side to a guy that for a long term. I think tempted to push that away for whatever we've got. There is something to be said for for dance. I question because I think everyone used the phrase Tigers back he's back. He's back. And I think when we talked about tiger being back. I think we all magin it'd be hand putting on a green jacket and the Butler cabin. That would be tiger. That would six something like that. Clearly playing well enough to do that. There's no nobody has it done it. Yeah. I understand. But right now, Scott if I make the masters tomorrow, who's the favorite and how close is he to being the favourite? But he is right now and part of that has to do with just he's he's also a singular sort of threat to Vegas because more people will bet on him than anybody in a few wins in that level of exposure to the houses problem, but his level of play would be sex Dickey be a rightful of favorites if not the favorite one of the favorites. And I mean look at this year guys like when he majors really hard. He he made us forget that. But at the open he had the lead on the back nine, and he kinda freaked out and have one moment where he slipped up in the guy he was playing with didn't make a single bogey any lost the Molinari's. And then he was right there in the mix at the PGA. But couldn't quite catch Brooks KEPCO who won two majors this year. So I think those are the reminders of of like, there's a there's a there's a race of golfer that he has spawned these Frankenstein people like Brooks who who are big and an athletic and all these guys like, you know, just the speed and the days. Thomas is in all these guys they were spawned by tiger. So now he has to he has to compete with them. And it'll be hard to be all of those people. I mean, it's hard to win a major any any time. But he's you know, he's on the other side of the fused background go, blah, all all of this just to say winning a major will be difficult. But there's no reason to think that he won't be there with the chance certainly starting
