Relationship Based On Thanksgiving - burst 1

"Welcome to live behind the veil and atmosphere where men and women of God speak his word to this age and bring his kingdom to this earth. Do you have ears to hear and eyes to see what God is doing in this hour? Let us join our host and the family's conversation as the Holy Spirit is unfolding. The word behind the veil. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving. Let your request be made known unto God. Hi, everyone. I'm Ron your host, and today we're talking about being thankful in all things in our lives. Being thankful is not always easy, but it is a learned response. Being thankful, places God, in control over our lives and shows him that we trust him. Grace after meal, that is where the promise of when your crops will grow for the next season. Is if you give thanks after meal. I think that is an example of what Thanksgiving is supposed to be. It says give thanks and all things. And so it's the little itty bitty, I stud my toe, thank you, lord. Yeah. That's probably a tough one right there. Into the major, someone says you've just been diagnosed with cancer, you're going to die in three days, you know. Thank you, lord. Thank you. No, it's because we have no control over much of anything. We think we're like the cat's meow on this planet, and my goodness. We are so subjected to so many things. That we have no control over this. But in giving him thanks. Yes, it gives him control over those things. Right. That we do not. You know, Alan too, it also, to me, becoming real to me is it's telling the lord that he is the lord, and that you recognize him as the lord. And that you are thanking him because you're saying your plan, whether I understand it or not, or even like it or not. I am praising you, I'm worshiping you. You bet. And your perception about life's going to change. I like what you were saying about grace after meal now and because if you look at it, look at where we're at today in Christianity you might say, we talk about blessing the food before weed. We thank God for the hands of prepared it and we bless it to be nutritious. And that gives us a certain perspective that the food we're looking at on the table. But grace after real gives you a whole new perspective. Because now you're a partaker of that meal, and because of that, our Thanksgiving is far more effective. You can thank God for something you don't have in anticipation of appropriating it and receiving it. But even greater should be your Thanksgiving be, when you receive it. Thanksgiving, as we mature in our ability to be thankful, it gives us an attitude that's different. And that's based on grace after meal, because actually what we're doing is we're growing in our attitude towards God, he's created a people who love him, want a worship him, want to be thankful, and in return, he gives back to you a relationship, built upon Thanksgiving. You can't really have thankfulness for everything unless you really have learned to trust the lord, and it's a thing of openness. And an assurance that God is impotent, and he is looking over you as a father, and he loves you. And if you can trust that, more than anything else that comes to your mind, whether you're going through something bad or something good comes to a real thankfulness and appraise, and that's what God is looking for. I think you hit something really important, sandy, because not only, you know, what we've been kind of mentioning is being thankful for all the bad things and all the things that happened, but the children of Israel kind of forgot about giving thanks about all the good things God did for them. When they were in the wilderness, my God, they were complaining about everything, and they forgot to give them thanks for what he had done, and what he was doing. We need to give thanks in all things. The good, the bad, the ugly, everything, everything. Yeah. You know what? If you start living in that realm, I think it's taking you out of the human, reasoning realm, and it's also taking you out of being dominated by your emotions and your feelings. I don't think we realize how much we're dominated as human beings by our emotions. Or our circumstances or our reason. Those three things really dominate our life or can dominate our life. I think it's a principle. And I think there's an initiative that we have, as believers, first off we have to trust, we have to believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seeking. We have to trust him, well, there's a lot of things that trust him on right now if he asks me. Because there's a lot going on out there that I wouldn't agree with on one level. I wouldn't agree with it. I don't like it. I don't agree with it. But I have to trust the lord. I don't have to. I determined to trust you. Yes. Yes. It's a thing of faith and trust. It's a huge change. In the way of life, but I think that it keeps your spirit right, your attitude, right? If you're just loving him as a loving father, and trusting him, and thanking him, and it's an expression, you have to express something right, and all day long, things go on with your life, relationships, circumstances, whatever goes on, and you have that choice, 24/7, how are you going to express what's in your circumstances? Right. Okay, just like Ed and Deb. Air conditioner went down. They could be moaning and complaining, be upset, why is this happening to us or you know why now? We just got back from being the Texas and now here we are. We come home and we find our air conditioner and it's hotter than heck in the house and we can't sleep and so you could have that attitude. It's a choice. Or you can go yeah, it's all those things, but I choose to voice my thankfulness. I choose to voice my trust in the lord and out of this, you know, whatever comes out of it comes out of it because he's in my life. And he is, he is so much in our lives. Right. And he is in control. And I know that. And I trust in that, and I believe in that. And I remind myself, I have to remind myself, sometimes, when I feel overwhelmed by certain things, that the lord is allowing things for a purpose, and I may not see or know why I may not know how he's going to do it. I don't know anything, but I do know that he is faithful. And he is true, and his word is through. And I believe in his word, and I trust in his word, I trust in who he is, and isn't integrity is more important than anything else. For each one of us, he has the best, even though it doesn't feel like it, sometimes. Start thanking him for the things that you have. And just worship it for who he is. Being thankful and having a Thanksgiving in our hearts is a form of worship. There are many, many aspects to worship. I mean, if you look at what Ron was saying, what's going on in the world right now, you know, you could call it a worldwide brownout, the world is facing the four horsemen of revelation. People are afraid, plagues are breaking out, men's hard or failing them for fear, right? Right. But it's the way it's supposed to be, but what are we doing? Right? We're looking up because we know our redemption is drawing nigh, and we're worshiping the lord, the thing of thankfulness is truly an expression I looked it up one of the things of Thanksgiving is gratitude. The word Thanksgiving gratitude there so many words that describe it, but it's how you act, and somehow when you take that extra step. There's something extra comes with it. There's a sincerity and honesty and importation, take a person by the hand, look them in the eye. Say, you know, I really thank you for that. I feel I felt your heart as you expressed what you were saying. It becomes an exchange of relationships. And see, that's what we want with the father in our Thanksgiving in our praise in our worship. We want that exchange. With the father, we're not worshiping a far off. Where worshiping at the foot of his throne, as you learn and come into a relationship with the father, you learn what he wants, you learn what he expects. And that's what we are learning is what God is expecting from us. He's given us so much. In my life, and I think in many people's lives, you don't feel thankful through your day. Right. It's not a feeling. That's true. You know what I'm saying? Your emotions are not and your feelings, and even your reason doesn't line up to what God wants, from your heart, and that's why I think you have to start with a set of heart, a set of will. I'm going to be thankful today, no matter how I feel, no matter what transpires through the day, you have to start at least I do. Yeah, oh, I do too. You got to set your will. That doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be easy. By any means, but it is a set. I think of your heart first. I think as you keep doing it, it becomes easier. So it's a matter of deciding that, of course, I trust the lord, and of course I love him, and I know that he's wanting the best for me. So as you keep practicing it, it becomes easier and easier. Being anxious for nothing. But in everything by prayer and supplication, with Thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Are giving of thanks to him in control of our lives. We really can not be thankful unless we've learned to trust him, our thankfulness in all things is our expression of worship and through this our father is directing our lives. Unraveling The Death of 'The Toxic Lady', Gloria Ramirez

"When she got to the hospital. Glorious heart was beating at a rate of more than one hundred beats per minute. Why did they need to fibrillation her. That seems like jumpstarting a car. That's already running hot. You know also. It just seems to me that pumping someone full of sedatives and then zapping. Their heart with electricity is a weird sequence of events. I'm sure they knew what they were doing. It's just as a lay person sitting here at my desk. It seems weird also can only hope the iv. The paramedics administered in the ambulance was to take blood because by the time nurse. Cain went to get a blood sample. Gloria was so hopped up on medical grade goof-balls that her blood probably would have gotten anyone within fifteen feet of it high. Wouldn't they wanna check someone's blood before dumping a whole bunch of shed into it like maybe make sure she didn't already take a bottle full of valium before giving her more valium next. Let me just ask why. The decision was to move the entire. Er to the parking lot. If dr our cia thought gloria was the problem why not just move gloria outside. Wouldn't that have been easier than moving the entire er department it's possible. Show a thought. The problem was coming from the er itself like the ventilation system or whatever but then. Why didn't gloria get evacuated as well and look. I'm sure dr ocho made whatever decisions he thought were best in the moment. I can't think straight under that kind of pressure which is why dr ochoa is a doctor. And i am a podcast art. Could you imagine getting rushed to the er for like i dunno hemorrhaging blood or something. The ambulance gets to the parking lot out front. And it's like well here. We are literally right here. And there's just rows of gurneys with moaning people and some doctors like who's nissan altima is this. I'm hanging an. Iv bag from the roof rack. The official cause of gloria ramirez death was kidney failure due to cervical cancer or possibly heart failure. I'm telling you the reporting on this case is all over the place. Whatever it was that ultimately killed her. Everyone was still trying to figure out what it could have possibly been about. Gloria that was making medical staff around her pass out.

Kate Courtney on What It Takes to Compete as a Professional Athlete Today

"It's interesting. Even our cyclist levi is was really good. Ski racer a great athlete and then picked up realize you could out suffer. Everyone pizza gone. Is i think he could be half a world champion in multiple sports. He's so talented. And the people i know who know him. All say the same thing that he is the most like athletic person and then we're starting to see it more and more that the cross disciplines is bananas. Do you feel like that's common in lot of the other women in the world cup that they're that talented as athletes. Not just this one thing. I think at this point they have to be to be successful. I think it's gotten so competitive in a really exciting way. You know the last two world cups we had there were. This is the first time. I've raised a world cup with field over one hundred. I think we had one hundred seven women on the start line offset which is so epic and also not that many women fewer than the men's category. So we're kind of like getting to equality of participation. Which i think is really exciting and a point where you can't say. Oh but it's less competitive in the women's. I think austin more we would say that the competition is often way more interesting to watch the women race. Yeah and with regards to you. Know kind of being a well rounded athlete. When i started mountain biking people weren't really doing strength. Training and i came from ski racing and transition about making and started really focusing on that sport and i hired a ski strength coach to be my strength coach and my mountain by coach. Hated it he said it makes you tired or sore like this is detracting from your ability to succeed but i think for me. At that age. I was riding on development team with like as riding mostly with guys and i couldn't keep up with them on the descents and i felt like part of it was my physical strength. It didn't have the upper body strength to manage the bike at high speed. And when i did core on. When i did kind of all these things that i was doing in my gym routine i would get on the bike and feel more confident and comfortable and powerful in like a had more control over the bike. So i like kind of diagnosed heels in instead i'll be doing strength training and moan behold. It's it's really become a focus and for me. It's been a challenge to continue to evolve in always feel like i'm one step ahead of everyone else. Hopefully doing new things or exciting things in my strength training but now you see across everyone at the top of the sport is doing it and doing it very seriously with well trained highly skilled people to help them.

The Freezation of Pam McGee

"The freeze ation of pam mcgee. There are strange things done in the mid day sun by those who searched for spoil the desert sands have their hidden plans. That would set your blood to boil. The pharaohs tombs have seen strange dooms but the strangest they did ever see. Was that day on the edge of oasis hedge. I froze up old pam. Mcgee now pam mcgee was from kittery where the snowfall blasts and blows why. She left home from the north to roam around the desert. No one knows she was always hot but the endless thought of gold held her in spell though she'd often say in her brazen way she'd sooner swim a well. Well it all happened. Because i was her captain. We joined up after the war. We figured a duo could find their way through. All the desert may have in store with camel stout us to set out to search the sands for wealth and like a crown. The son weighed down and tried to sap our health one. Summer's day we tracked are way over the dawson. Pass talk of heat through son or sheet. It burned like boiling gas in an open. I rough sand would fly until we couldn't see it wasn't fun but the only one to gripe was pam mcgee and as it rose the sun imposed a dreadful pressing fire the canteens mon dry as a bone. We feared that we'd expire and though it felt we'd begun to melt. Our goal was still ahead. We'd reach the edge of oasis hedge or else we'd both be dead and that very noon like pebble-strewn. We struggled in the sand. The camels fed sun overhead. We staggered stripped and tanned. Pam turned to me and cap says she. I'm all cashed in. i guess. And when. I'm through i'm asking you please grant one last request. She seemed so low that i couldn't say no. Then she rasped out in a moan. It's the curse it heat. It's got me beat. I'm melting skin and bone.

"Today's champions league final. We saw chelsea beat manchester city by one goal to nail says in the first half proving to be the difference between. That's a side as chelsea under thomas to co. Go on and win. The second champions league practices such open. Start this game. It was great sometimes. These finals the teams cancelling each other out. This quite we all to say yeah. I don't think any that even took in these players himself would have understood the city. We're going to have the bulk of the possession. Not that wasn't gonna worry jokes in look at chelsea in the positive side to start and sort of meander to losing coach. But you've got to take off to this club a abramovich and has people do not mess around. They made unpopular decision with some and sacking. Ghosts movies and the real deal

"Welcome to kits myths and mysteries. I'm your host. Ken crammed today in my month. Long investigation into the spirit world and ghost will go hollywood and then we'll look at some facts about goes. I'll start with a dark and stormy night. That's under ship. The trees from their very roots bolts of lightning struck. The earth surface burning holes deep into the soil. What was inside. The house was ten times as frightening. Livingston's had goes several black monstrous floating creatures. They would not lamps off. Tables push pictures off. Walls throw close out of closets and drawers. They killed the family. Dog fluffy and eight to guinea pig actor. The cats pugh brown phone from his mouth and moaned incessantly. The livingston's wanted to know when this reign of terror was going to stop green. Smoke would burn out of the nostrils of these unwelcome guests. The red eyes glared the dark. Purple slime dripped from their mouths. Nothing could stop or tame these horrible visitors from the world beyond they were out to destroy the family home and drive. Mr and mrs livingston insane. They hated with a vengeance. They showed no mercy on the children day. They tied them up and chopped off their toes. They were horrible. Villainous monster slowly taking over and destroying this beautiful nineteenth century victorian home just as an evil lucky spectre looms towards mr livingston wielding a bloody axe. Someone in the back room to cut us. Do the scene over there you go. That's what we hear a lot of variations like that about ghosts but here are some facts about at are quite so hollywood ish. The difference between a ghost spirit is very simple. They're both soles. That are no longer living in a body but a ghost is a soul that has remained on earth in a spirit is a soul has moved on to the other side and has begun a new life there.

That Good Night With Sunita Puri

"We're talking with dr sunita puri who works at the keck school of medicine at university of southern california as the daughter of a doctor sue. Nita grew up watching an admiring her mother's work so my mom's job was literally part of our household. I really think of medicine as the fifth person or concept living in our home in addition to my parents and my brother. And i and i really vividly remember. I must have been five years old. And i remember her leaving at probably four thirty five in the morning to drive from where we lived in evansville indiana to louisville where she was a resident in kentucky and i remember her in her blue blue font and her surgical scrubs and every day. I would hear her getting ready to go. It's like i was time to wake up at that time. And i would just start crying. I try to grab onto her legs so she wouldn't go. My dad would have to pull me off of her. I think my brother was an infant at the time so he doesn't remember this. But i always had this deep craving for my mother to be around more than she was and at the same time i remember being like probably six years old and going to the hospital with her and her holding my hand and us going into the post anesthesia. Care unit. she's an anesthesiologist. So after her patients came out of the operating room she would go check on them and so she took me with her. And i must not have been really even tall enough to see much over the hospital beds of these patients. But i remember my mom letting go of my hand and holding. Her patients hand that movement of her hand stands in my mind very clearly because she did put her hands on patients. She touched them with her hands and with her words and she would tell them. You did great in surgery house. You noncha- how's your pain. What can i do to help you feel better now that the hardest part is over and i just remember looking at her and the tenderness of her voice was the same with her patients as it was with me and i'll never forget the smell in the post anesthesia. Care unit of this kind of mix of clorox and some other very tough cleaning agents. I'll never forget the moans. I heard from patients who needed pain medicine. And i'll never forget how my mother would not just look down at them. She'd often pull up a chair so that they didn't have to crane their necks and she was i level with them and that to me really showed me not just how you can be a doctor but how you can be a human being connecting with another person. That was what soon nida envisioned for her life. That kind of connection. I was very conflicted about whether to go into medicine. I always have had the heart of a writer in a more creative person played piano classically for many years. I read voraciously. I wrote horrible teenage poetry. And i always had this more artistic bent me and in college. I really struggled with whether i want to go into medicine or whether i want to teach english in high school whether i just want to be a writer on my own terms and what ultimately led me to medicine was because i really wanted to be in the world as my mother was and knowing that that was her way of contributing to the betterment of the world it was always something that had this gravitational pull for me. I also really loved anatomy. Physiology biology and figuring out how those things interact with someone psyche so it was always there but i really decided not to go as a time writer because that pulled a little harder at me.

The World Is As You Find It

"Every now and then i come across a quote in maybe a movie that i'm watching or a book that i'm reading or possibly a podcast that i'm listening to the kind of stops me in my tracks and when that happens. I always paused from moment. Think about it a little bit and always make note of it and usually come back two months or weeks later. And that's exactly what happened with this quote that i got from the movie vice. Which is the story of vice president. Dick cheney and in this movie christian. Bale plays the character of dick cheney and he comes out with that quote the world is as you find it and i remember distinctly when i was watching it i it on because i really wanted to think about it because it struck me as a really powerful thing to say and as i explored i realized that to me i think it's an empowering comment on a couple of levels firstly i think it's empowering to understand that that's the way the world is. There's nothing i can necessarily do to change it. It's not my fault that it's like that but that's what it is. So now i'm free to move on within the framework that that's created and i think it's empowering on another level because it makes you hold yourself accountable in a way because you can bitch and moan all you like about the way the world is in the state of the nation but the reality is that's the way it is so what you need to do is work within that framework and just find a way to move forward so i think it's empowering on both those levels and that's why i think that statement really struck a chord with me so except that the world is as you find it. You don't have to change it you can if you want. You can try but regardless. There's no point complaining about it. you can do. All you like to work around it you can do. All you can to work within it but the realities the world is as you find it. And i think maybe for some people. They probably need to hear that right now. Because it's a pretty shitty world out there for a lot of people right now but the world is as we find it so. Let's do what we can

Mustang Mach-E First Drive Review - Ford's All-New New Electric Crossover

"The car driving today is unique for four if their ever history fully electric battery electric vehicle designed from the ground up to be electric unlike some other early eighties like the nissan leaf. You know where. They decided to go for efficiency. Make it as a compact car for decided to go for the heart of the market. They what they really did was. They learned from tesla looked at. You know what tesla was doing. And how tesla was succeeding. That was making cars. Were cool looking. At cool technology had good performance And offer great range and ford decided to start with a compact midsize. upper compact. You know mid size crossover market is today. That's what people wanna buy It's getting close to suv's and crossovers are about forty percent of the us car market now and so the originally conceived this vehicle announced early twenty seventeen as a more conventional tross over. It was basically you know it was going to be front wheel drive. More something like Electric version of the escape Which is very popular compact. Crossover for four but late. Two thousand seventeen. They decided to completely change direction. They realized that that was not a car that was going to get people excited to buy an ev from ford. And so what they did instead was. They said okay. What's our what's our icon. What what is the vehicle that really gets people excited and within ford. The mustang is considered the heart and soul of the brand. It's by no means the best selling car but is the car they build that is representative of so many things for fun to drive. You know the racing history. Ford ford's racing. History goes back to before there was a ford motor company. Henry ford won the money that he used to start ford motor company by winning a race winning the vanderbilt cup and so the The they decided to use mustang as the inspiration for this car and and the end You know what they came up with was a crossover that has mustang design cues but they also knew that if they were gonna put the mustang badge on it that they needed to make it something that would fail. Drive a mustang. It's obviously a car. That's much taller than a traditional mustang. But because it's electric. That has the battery in the floor underneath the floor. That's still gives it a relatively low center of gravity. And they put a lot of the people who've worked on mustang over the years on this program and to try to infuse it with as much mustang dna performance dna and And they territory an attitude as they could and so they came up with something that has echoes of mustang but is also very practical car. For the first time ever you know traditionally mustangs the backseat and the mustang is not a place where you where you wanna be if you're an adult. It's fine for kids but know it's always been a two plus two this is a real five-seater got four doors. Got a hatchback big big cargo area in the back. And it's something that can be used as a family car but it also has a lot of that mustang. feel but it's also extremely modern. So you got things like the fifteen and a half inch touchscreen display in the center here with their sink for a system on it. They designed a completely new user interface for this car and this is going to be spreading out to two other vehicles as well. Unlike tesla Four as ford decided that you're not going to have everything in this touchscreen interface here They did retain a an instrument. Cluster display up in the front here directly in of the driver. Which i think is where it belongs. Yes that gives you information like your speed. Your driver systems systems like dab cruise control and lane keeping assist your range information. All that is right in front of you in the in the user interface here it's designed to be basically three areas three zones of this. You have the main zone up top here which is whatever the current application that you're using right now. It's navigation for dr route but You've also got these cards down here in this lower in this middle section here which represent the other applications that you've used most recently so if you go to things like you know right now there's an iphone connected to this which is being used as the phone is a key system and that brought up the the apple carplay interface and you can see that when it carplay interface came up navigation. Went down here into the most recently used slot in the in the cart section. So i can quickly get back to toggle back and forth. I can go to the ford pass out for charging. If i want to go to tap that and you see the Carplay and the navigation ford passer still down here instantly accessible so the system learns based on your behavioral based on what you're doing and so i'm going to go back here was also At the top here have Your your picture. You can have profiles from multiple drivers in here. Each driver can have Is tied to their own kifah program it to the fourth pass app on your phone use. Use the phone as your key with bluetooth belly when you tap on that it shows you all the apps that are available to the nice thing that they've done with his user interfaces. They've kept everything close to the surface close to the top so you're not drilling down through multiple layers of display multiple layers of interface. To get to the things that you want to use. It's all up close so right now. there's three three drive modes that are available right now in whisper mode which is the most economical mode the quietest mode the engage mode is the default mode. That's kind of a nice balance between the better better efficiency but also more performance and then unbridled is the the most performance oriented mode and what changes in between each of those modes. Is you get changes in the searing. Feel the amount of steering effort and you know for an suv. This thing has excellent steering response during feel to changing the drive modes also changes the accelerator pedal response so in whisper mode. It gives you a little bit slower response when you tip into the accelerator pedal A little smoother. Calmer more comfortable feel to it But then when you go through engage and finally to unbridled each time it gets a little more aggressive both with the the tip in response so that you know when you when you hit the accelerator pedal. It'll respond quicker jump off line faster in unbridled than it does in either engage or whisper but it also does the same in reverse for regenerative braking so in whisper mode you get more aggressive region or rather than Br bridled mode. You get more aggressive regenerative braking than you do in whisper mode or engage mode and you also have the option here separately for one pedal driving And you can set that and it'll stay remember what your settings were So it always goes back to whatever your last settings were so one pedal driving is great especially if your stop and go traffic in city traffic or On a on a on a highway even in stop and go traffic jam because it will bring the car to a complete stop when you lift off the accelerator. So i have not touched the brakes and the car coming to a complete stop here and then accelerating nice. Quick celebration puts you back seat. It's not as fast right now. As the tesla performance moats. But this also isn't the highest performance version. That's that's gonna be the. Gt the machi. Gt comes out in the summer. Twenty twenty one will be the version that goes up against the likes of tesla model y performance with it's insane mode the gt's going to accelerate zero to sixty in the in the mid three second range. Which will put it comparable to the shelby. Gt five hundred. Which has the giant supercharged v. Eight engine when i drove the machi earlier this afternoon on the auto cross course that one we drove was The rear wheel drive version. And what was interesting about it. Was you know they. They really tuned the suspension field. To give it more of that mustang. Feel so we get some off throttle oversteer. Can you can control the attitude of the car really well with the accelerator pedal the ride quality and this despite the performance capability is actually quite good. It's very comfortable but it's still got really good body control one other aspect does change when you change the drive. Moans is the sound there's the unbridled gives you a little bit more aggressive sound to engage. It's a little bit more toned down and whispered as you would expect. it's very quiet

Where the Trump campaign and Republicans' election-related lawsuits stand

"Looking good for President Trump and the transition as I mentioned we're now today two full weeks post Election Day in America. There are 17 lawsuits and six states somewhere saddled. Others were dropped. I think one or two or dismissed, eight are pending and all but well, Here's a Here's a quick read on this. All but one are long shots, according to experts and legal analyst law, scholar stuff like that, whether you want to believe them, that's up to you. One that has the most merit right now is one that the Supreme Court is debating, and that Pennsylvania legally allowed belt to be accepted for three days after the election day. So Trump has a really good shot the same experts eight winning this, but here's the problem. The gap is about 10,000 votes. Okay, so he's 10,000 votes in that pool That came in three days after the election, So let's say he wins all time 1000 votes which is unlikely, right? I would imagine a lot of those could be buying votes. So give me 10,000 fine. He lost Pennsylvania by 55,000 votes. It's not going to change the outcome of the election. No matter how much you want, ignore the facts and He has to have Pennsylvania plus 18 more electoral votes. The campaign. Thanks. Michigan is probably maybe in play with 16 electoral votes, but he lost by what 150,000 votes there. How are you going to swing this? If he could win. He still needs one more state. He's gotta win Pennsylvania. They gotta take that back. He's gotta take Michigan back, and then we need one more state. On top of that. Where do you get? Where do you come up with this? I'm just trying to see a path. The victory here and I have not seen it since. Bubbly a week and week and a half ago. It's looking less likely now. And yet there's a lot of folks, maybe you that are holding out hope that this thing's rigged and it's fixed and all that, and I I don't see it. I don't see how you get a path there. It doesn't mean that's you want him to lose, but it's pretty clear he's lost. And let's let's okay. So let's say you get Pennsylvania. You get Michigan. I don't know how you're gonna. There's a real part about that, too, is you know the math? He's gotta flip what 38 electoral votes to get to suit to 70. So it's Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, Arizona. No matter what the state it's one of two problems. Here's the real problems with us. First of all, you gotta prove fraud, which they really aren't widespread fraud. They you can't prove that And neither asked the ask. They're asking the courts right now either won't given enough votes as the case in Michigan to win that state or The ask is so big with little or no proof no court in the world is going to disenfranchise those who voted. It's just it's simply not gonna happen. You going to throw it all out? The problem is that even if you could prove some level of fraud, what's the solution there? What's what they called the legal remedy. Um, if you want me through it all up, and then you'd be disenfranchising Biden voters, which would they be denied the same equal protection you're looking for so it just it doesn't work. It's not about it's not about whether was fraud. This is about The idea that that somehow The election was stolen. I don't know what you come up with a fraud angle on this. I mean, it all sounds good. When you start examining the fax it just It doesn't work that way. No matter how much you wanted to. How do you get the 38 electoral votes if you're to 70 right now. T get 2 to 70. I guess I should say What's interesting, too is is finding that other state right OK, so Wisconsin, Georgia. They're doing recounts right now. Andhra history, the most you'll see is a swing of a few 100 votes. So Trump trails him by by something like 10,000 votes in Georgia. Right now in 20,000, Wisconsin. I don't think you're gonna flip Wisconsin. But let's look at the closer one. Georgia 10,000. Well, they just this just broke by the way they found 2600 uncounted ballots during the recount in Georgia. Okay, That's 2600. Not all of those are going to go. Trump's late, But if if it does you still lose by 8000 votes. So what? Away at recount where you've seen tens of thousands of votes swing in the other direction. You haven't and what would make us think that all of a sudden and 2020. This is the year where that's going to occur. You can't You know, at some point, you look at it and go, man. It's it's over. It's done. You gotta flip Pennsylvania. You gotta flip probably Michigan, and then you got one more state on top of it. It just the odds of that happening. It's simply impossible at this point. No matter how much people complain and moan about it, it's it's what it is. And how even Arizona, right Where's the fraud? There? They dropped. I believe they drop their case in Maricopa County last week. On deck courts have shot him down, left and right. And even so much So, you know Sam with Georgia but Republican Arizona. You've got a Republican attorney general there, said, Listen, there's no evidence of fraud whatsoever. You wouldn't think that the Republican attorney general If there was any sniff of fraud would root that out and make a case to try and swing Arizona to trump because he's a Republican. And yet that's not the case. But if you're buying a conspiracy theory now, this is what I love about conspiracy. There's because you just keep digging a hole. Well, that's because the Republicans are in on it. Wait a minute. What? So the Republicans don't want their guy to win? Yeah, that's it. You can't prove that, but I can't disprove it. Which is the magic of conspiracy theories. But it does make you sound bad poop and saying Look, it's done. It's over. Trump lost the election. Now the real dumpster fires going to begin because he's out of office, and I said Trump on office is gonna be a hell of a lot more interesting than Trump in office. If he does a media network, which is really difficult to do, but I think he'd probably be a lot more pied a lot more juice doing that. Talking about running in 2024. He probably won't because he e. I don't think is ego allowed toe even think about losing a 2nd 2nd time around. And he'll just He'll nominate Tiger Hill feel anoint someone else to to say this is the guy that embodies my values, Beliefs and ideals. This is the person you should vote for us. We were in 2024, but right now I don't know what people are crying about the election of being thrown and rigged, and there's just there's no proof of it whatsoever. At some point we do have to move forward.

The Last 4 Years Have Tarnished U.S. Image In Europe. Will Biden Be Able To Improve It?

"He will work to rebuild relationships with European leaders. But as NPR's Eleanor Beardslee reports, the last four years may have permanently tarnished America's image in Europe. Welcome to the third edition off the Paris Peace Forum you have. The Paris Peace forum opened this week more than 150 nations and organizations looking for ways to solve the world's problems through multilateralism and international cooperation. Director and founders used on Vase says even though it's virtual this year, the U. S still sent no official representative. So in 2018. When the forum was founded, Donald Trump was actually in Paris because he was there for the 100th anniversary off World War one, and even though he was present in Paris, he didn't show up at the forum, even though leaders like Merkel, putting twiddle and many others where actually present Aside from a few liberal populist governments on Europe's eastern flank, most of Europe is breathing a sigh of relief over the change in administration and nowhere more so than in Germany. So I used to be a fan of Merkel. I used to think she was terrific. A big leader, great leader. I think what she did to Germany is a disgrace. President Trump loved toe lash out at Germany and its chancellor, Angela Merkel, Even on the campaign trail suited David will of the German Marshall Fund says German opinions of the U. S have never been lower. Just a quarter percent of Germans have a positive view of the United States at the moment. There have been other low point, says David Wilt, like during the Iraq war, But America's image quickly rebounded with the election of Barack Obama. This time, David Wilkes says America's image may not recover so fast. Germans have become very savvy to US politics and also realized that although President Trump lost, he did better than expected and Trumpism is here to stay for the near future. Trump's tariffs on European food and wine and his threats to withdraw from NATO have made many in Europe feel they can't count on the U. S as before excitedly. And then Dylan's off. I'm not in 2017 Miracle proclaimed that Europe must depend on itself. Sylvie Kauffmann, deputy editor of French newspaper, Le moaned, says Biden will make the transatlantic relationship positive and amicable again. And she says Europeans were impressed by the U. S election when we so that the turnout was so high That people were going to vote in droves or had made their votes. The fact that the turnout was so high I gave the impression that you know democracy was working. But Kaufman says political events since the election do not bode well for America's image, the fact that President Trump is refusing to concede Calling for demonstrations that the Republican leadership is not backing down either. Four years of populism and isolationism in America have had an impact in Europe. 29 year old Parisian Martin Cangelosi says after Trump he doesn't see America the way he used to. When I was a kid, I used to think America was a great players like a dream. You know the American dream that something in Europe We think about you know with, for example. Now, I don't even think America is still a great country. I feel really sorry about that a regret shared by many Europeans who worry that the United States and Europe have grown permanently further apart. Eleanor Beardsley. NPR NEWS PARIS

"Daybreak weekend our global look ahead at the top stories for investors in the coming week I'm Bob moan into York later in our program a look at what to expect as the rich and famous gather for the annual confab in Davos Switzerland but first we check in with our bureau in Europe about what's happening at the European central bank with Bloomberg daybreak Europe anchors Caroline help Kerr and Roger hearing both of the ECB president sent a letter to policy makers about discussing the strategy review and is also a loss for open minds of the masses well for more weight joined by blue bags European economy and as a young Aranda and also see yeah you're gonna miss David Powell a great have you on the program so Christine Lagarde told the press conference last month that she's planning to stone this review in the course of January so what might that cover at Jana so first and foremost they will look at the inflation goal itself right now below but close to two percent it's quite difficult to explain there have been voices here and there to say well should we settle at two percent was some flexibility around they're very keen on establishing that the goal is symmetrical so there will be a big discussion about the inflation goal as such but there will also be discussion about climate change about digital currencies about the tools ECB uses so what we should really expect to be all encompassing okay David let me pick up on that nation about the inflation tug of having collision number the C. B. policy makers what what's the drifters to walk Montel could happen is this not only that issue that Jana brought up of what exactly the target is is also the issue of how is it measured so is is the CPI inflation the right thing to be looking at and that's what better Accor Hey brought up just before he retired from the C. B. in December there's also the rolodex inflation expect tions which she said they should look at the different measures of it as information expectations point to different things should be looking with the markets expect to what business is expecting households expect so this is a lot wrapped up in that inflation question she's going to be there their primary focus in this review so as Jana said it will look at climate change monetary policy implementation and other aspects of their jobs okay so this is the big picture oversee the stars of the new presidency radio the infancy of any presidency on the stalls of in a venue yeah but let's catch Donnell said to Paul status and actually all they go to do anything just out of this meeting of course you have the latest USA dated suggest perhaps of the worst may be over for European money factors unemployment is close to recollect than inflation crept up in December so David just one is through the latest economic data serve away from the big picture what might they actually do this makes if anything well the answer to that is very little is he economic data essentially said things are kind of just going along as they were before they're no big changes from the last the last meeting probably the biggest the biggest thing that's happening in the eurozone is that these global trade tensions are are coming down a little bit we have a measure of uncertainty in the economy that we've crate inches uncertainties coming out that's good for economic growth businesses have more clarity about what next year will look like so while we expect the latest survey suggests that in the last quarter of the year the economy grew at the same pace the third quarter zero point two you might see a small bit of improvement in the first quarter and that will provide the ECB with the luxury of focusing on longer term issues as they since you don't have to do anything on monetary policy right now or in the foreseeable future thanks there too senior year Erica colonists to David Powell and also you to Bloomberg European economy editor young around out I'm rushing hearing and I'm Carolyn had good Hey in London you can catch us every weekday morning have a pretty big day but you're beginning at six AM in London one AM oval streak bald all right thank you guys and now let's head to India where a controversy law is rattling nerves number get break Asia host Ryan Curtis is tracking developments from our Hong Kong bureau Brian Bob in the next week India's Supreme Court will begin a review of the government's controversial new citizenship law now this law has sparked weeks of demonstrations and a police crackdown in more than a dozen people have died in the protests the new law bars undocumented Muslims from neighboring countries including Pakistan and Bangladesh from seeking citizenship in India it allows people with other religious beliefs to do so the law is called the citizenship amendment act and he has been decried by many Microsoft boss such in a deli is one he said what is happening is sad joining us now to understand more about this and particularly the process of the review in the Supreme Court is Bloomberg's arsenal Chowdhry arsenal critics say that this is a violation of the constitution walk us through exactly what will the court's approach be to this review right on top we need to mention that India has a secular is a secular country and we were in our constitution is decidedly for your holiday be diligent every citizen equal before the law this is the first time dad in the history of India independent India since nineteen forty seven but we have a government that has come up with a law that says that only a but did you know they that would exclude the particular religion it includes religion of Muslims from this particular you know from seeking citizenship in India which is something that violates the article fourteen of our constitution and so we are expecting that that is what we come up before the Supreme Court and the Supreme Court to look at it as we did this is a violation of that particular article and with the you know disloyal then holds because we hoping that we will basically get to redefine and agree once again on the fact that you don't mean it the whole truck based on the street have been about basically this that you cannot keep out one group of citizens because this law comes is supposed to be followed by something called the national citizens registry actually what the national citizens a history will do is that it was done at all I need will ask people you know well for this individual documents if he moves and sick or Jane door the other religions in India even Christians they find that these religions of people from these religions don't have the documents they can you see a basically get the citizenship but the most will not be able to do that it's a process to to enable refugees in India to get citizenship and have that formalized and that process and that would help them in in order to get into educational institutions to get jobs and buy property but it's backfired has not had his backside tremendously because people can see the malice behind this particular you know law there was no need for this law is unprecedented all right we are so thank you so much for joining us here on the program Bloomberg's Arjuna Chowdhry I'm Brian Curtis in Hong Kong along with Doug Chris near on the program you can catch us every week day here for Bloomberg daybreak Asia begins at seven AM in Hong Kong and six PM on Wall Street Bob all right thank you Brian.

"This one of my favorite quotes mentors ever said in my entire life. So Spencer spent the night two nights in a row and gunners bed. And then he looks at me all upset like, I'm so tired. I'm like, Honey, you've only had two nights this. I've been doing this for a year and a half. He's a when did we become even when when did it become you? Crying laughing asked to be one of the funniest things. He's ever said to me when it is even it would take a year and a half to be even what are you talking about? It's only been two-night s-. But that's what my favorite stories, but you were built clearly tougher than me. Yeah. I am. I never said I all I can stay up overnight with. I was never friends say how do you do that? They're not. So then why are you surprised when I'm like, what did this be me just say even spend two nights? I've been doing this for a year in up while you're talking about even as relative. Melting. I. Funny is is funny is saying it's not a penny. As the best thing is I didn't even know how much I love Spencer until I saw him be a dad, and it's taken me through a whole new level. So I love you so much more. Yeah. Absolutely. Yeah, I've been bragging by it. When you're down there with gutter. All tune out to this. All right anyways. We gotta get going to watch the bachelor. We've gotta catch up on very Cavalieri. Well, then you better think about it because I don't have much more chocolate. I'm I'm leaving. You're not just getting into this podcast speaking to Paul is it just as every single person on planet earth have Dame podcast now. It's like, oh my gosh. So if you're listening to this also got a podcast. It's like, okay, none. You had a podcast. None. You even wanted to do a podcast. And if you would even Joe. Like made fun of our podcast. And now, you all have a podcast like, okay copycats? It's okay, though, his copycatting the form of flattery, blah, blah, blah, disagree thing is loser shit. Really getting nervous for this whole ills play out. No, it's a blessing. But I am just terrified it is going up in our face. Totally. It's like siesta key. And that's why when you're talking to on everybody on key. And paulie about it's like there is only so much you can do and film. And then it's a lot in the edit. It is for entertainment. So it's like you just have to be so understanding it. I would think you would be more than anyone because you know, how it is with that it I'm so used to all the positivity from Snapchat and just literally eight years of dispense USA, funniest grimness is going to be a square it's gonna be player..

It's the funniest thing this girl sitting in a row her husband's on the phone, and then she's like for mother's day. Can you just give me five minutes along with my mom? And so the guy's like. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Sure. And like takes the kid in the other room, and then she's like mom. I just don't remember you ever getting upset with me. Why are you such a perfect mom and then flashes back to the mom like yelling at her and Cussing? And then she says her daughter, oh because you were so perfect. And then it's like, yeah. But mom, you were always so put together I just feel like such a mess. Message like sleep-deprived all this. And it flashback the mom like screaming at her sick. You were just so perfect. But anyways, it was so funny. I was crying because I feel like I'm always asking my mom. I'm like mom. "And then they have the other ones in. It's just so cool that they all hang out together and have such unlike sister-in-law time, which seems really nice, but yeah, I I love her. She's my new obsession, and I'm really excited for the new bachelorette Hannam Brown, and she is going to be rid bachelor. She's so cute, and I really enjoyed her in the last season of the bachelor. So, you know, it's her time to. Is her time to shine here and with Colton I think it was good timing for her not to have him. And so she's really the winner. Can't wait to see how this goes in. It's so fun to see who they bring back on the bachelor 'cause I feel like that's the whole new thing. Like they bring back three bachelorettes to talk to her. And did I think actually Kaitlyn bristowe comes on and talks about like her scrunchy or her scrunchy line or something like that? But gunner is still crying. And they might have to go down there myself, oh walking towards me. Not he's been so sick. He just got this Coppedge like it's the the six season, also, Nikki Bella, I love her. But I didn't they should be without John CENA. So it's so interesting to see who she is moving on with. Yeah. And actually hurt his new girlfriend likes a lot like Nikki, and Nikki I had no idea that she loved Anna to the stars so much. I mean, I guess that's when on the show when she likes pulling away from John More and more. But yeah, another one of my favorite couples is Justin Bieber and Haley Baldwin. I know that we've talked about it. But the MAC out was so fun. I loved watching all the different looks in Haley looked on believable. It was camp. Which was a great theme. And there were some amazing office. It really wish that we could go. Not famous unless you're right is the mecca, and you know, what we haven't been invited yet. But there's hope I'm I'm hoping that one day we will get vita to the met gala up. Here comes Spencer is talking about the bet gala good jobs fence, see coughing has always waking up some much for a little guy. Worse. Johnson said. Says germs everywhere. Adults are on goes out sick in public. City. We're gonna do the hardest part about leaving list. I'm pretty good at I'll list. Cut my hair. Oh, you looked at that gala seven. Sure you thinking. It's your heart pounding. You. Don't wanna breathe so yeah, it's nice to be breathing again that was challenging little 'cause you don't wanna read too hard and wake up. Mom. So punish your next kid? I bet you sure won't do this whole sleeping way. You did. And I was like a bet you're wrong. Now, I am going to do it differently. I'm only gonna have the kid in the bed for two months. And I am going to start doing more the crib and have a better sleep timing. But some kids are born great sleeper. So I went to my friend, Jim bunnies. House will now she stint gen dumpy. I went to her house today and her kids sleeps great always has he's long naps. And I'm there, and it's the first nap he missed and I'm like, Jenn. It's my fault. Some weird thing with me makes kids not wanna sleep like he was smiling at me and having so much fun. And then it was naptime, and he was so tired. And then he couldn't go down for his nap every single day. This kid has a two hour. Minimum nap. And I get there any only sleeps forty minutes. So what the Frick Spence, I think you just have such magical energy that kids just wanna stay awake. And make sure that you're just still there. And they don't want to see because you won't be there. That's really kind. But I don't know what it is. It's like it's really weird. I don't know. But Lord, Jesus, please. Let our next kid be the miracle sleeper because some people get them. I, but I was wearing tied. I since two thousand eight pretty much on a weekly basis on television. I met Taylor wearing a tight shirt and a tie hoodie tied around my waist. She knows. I obviously love tidy. So she is sending tie-dye. And then I started thinking, do you think she was upset that I didn't surp- playing me? And that's why I'm like my into deep like Judy. So garner has a little cough, and he's at a really hard time sleeping. He didn't have enough hours last night. He only had a forty five minute nap states only been asleep for forty three minutes. So that just makes for a long night. But gosh censor is the best dad ever. He is so hands on he. So unbelievably loving and sweet and kind, and it's just like, it brings tears to my is to watch him be adad, especially because there was a point in time raise like, I don't know if I can't be a dad with all the negativity and with where we're honor life like it's always something he wanted to do. But just didn't know if he was able, and you know is so awesome to see him just thriving in being able to provide and where we are in our life and just all the attention to say. To me. Like, hey, how are we gonna do number two? But it's like, well you were asking her. Do you never win it? Now, you're thriving. So don't worry about it. But that is a good thing with Gunnar wanting Spenser more feel like that's a good natural place to be because it was just me for. I mean, no Spencer was very involved. But like on our wanted me more for the past year, and however months, so it's really great that he is wanting Spenser more than it makes him feel more needed and more involved in. Yeah. She's really cute and really great some baby. Number two. We're coming soon as soon as I start sleeping and in the morning. It's just it's a lot with gunner. I'm like, what am I gonna cook him? "Change your apartment change the world. So that would be my suggestion to Mr. Robbie. There's also somebody that there's a love triangle because she know another one of our mazing podcast friends. Allegedly is also with Robbie Hayes is what somebody told me in the DM. So. This is some reality TV love triangle, there needs to be like a regular once a week or once a month like reality mingle because all these reality starts are so many of them mingle in the same circles, go to the same party like that would be such a good idea like reality mingle and have it be episode on somewhere because there's a lot of drama that goes down and a lot of hookups and young. I would be very entertainment that I have a problem with these coons, eight bracelets Spencer night spot. I wanna keep them all we're doubling out them. Thirty toll MacKenzie that we spend a really frigging lot of money on them. We sit on them long term till our consumers at the level. Like, these are never gonna be able to get these again so stuff that we never get on. We should just sit on as like a stash like our lead elite. So for all we know for years. You know, our site could be selling way more expensive stuff, and that will fit that audience. Because I mean, we can't sell these are these are coons site beads Coon, Zych cats, I beat Andy is are worth five times more six times more than we even bought them for it. And they're so expensive, and they're one of a kind we bought all of them. We wrote a very large investment check. The thing is with these beads though, is they will never make him again as Selam by carrots. So each one of these beads is worth like a hundred dollars. And there's like twelve beads on H bracelet and each one is so individually beautiful, you cannot get coons ate beans. I mean, these are just unbelievable. So as I wear them, I having a very hard time selling him a whole different now, I know no Rugrats buying those and coons is my favorite crystal. So I think we keep them and give them as gifts to like Lee. Lee level via guy Pete no like like Taylor swift, Arianna Gandhi. Like when we meet these people and Mike have rake sheet them, I'm not giving his way. I was just saying that we're never going to be hanging out with these people. I addressed it on my Snapchat. I I'm very emotional. If you've noticed I haven't even been playing Taylor anymore in the mornings. I know. Read have a little red wine for him tells us. And that those were her people that she could save them the bell was ringing, and it was just it was just shocking.
