Welcome to this week's check. Six podcast I'm joan some. Oh! A Mitchell meeks editor in chief. The key to the aviation industry's recovery from the COVID nineteen crisis is to get people flying again and to do that. They're going to need to feel that. It's safe to fly on June first. A task force. Put together by the International. Aviation Organization I-. Kale released its recommendations on how to minimize health risks for passengers and crew on airplanes and airports I OUGHTA OUGHTA as also weighed in on how to implement these steps in a standardized and coordinated manner here to discuss the details with me are floto aviation weeks frankfurt-based executive editor and Sean Broddrick our air transport safety editor. WHO's here in Washington Shawn? Let's start with you because you wrote a story. Today's aviation daily about the task force recommendations. What exactly are they recommending? So the the Task Force has put together about two months ago and they were told to focus on the entire travel process, so what they did was they broke. They broke the process, and then the resulting recommendations into four basic modules that cover commercial air transport, the airport, aircraft, cruel and really frontline workers and also cargo transporters twelve. It brought together stakeholders from each of the groups. They consulted with international health experts, and they tried to find a way to recommend in integrate risk mitigation strategies for for noble, Corona virus transmission into car and operations in a way that addresses both the the issue at hand, which is ensuring that the people are not being exposed to the virus and also keeping commerce flowing. Each set recommendations is there mostly general, but in some cases they're very specific. What the Task Force really tried to do was come up with a baseline that's applicable anywhere in the world, no matter how complex and advanced or simple. A state's transportation industry may be. and has everything from suggested posters that you put in staff West areas to general. aircraft cabin and flight debt cleaning guidance that that OEM's provide. It's it's really made to be. A layered approach that again depending on how sophisticated your your your operation is, you can use a lot of it or a little of it, but the key is. It's the one place that airports and airlines can reference to say okay. What are some of the baseline things that we need to be doing that? Social everything we've been talking about from social. Distancing to you know A. Frequent cleaning is included here. It's up to the different either the states or the airlines or the airports to apply specifics to their operation. Be think of how different airports are for example. There's going to be a lot of different. Protocols putting on the side of the airport, the size of the terminal and things like that, but this is a baseline and a reference document where everybody can go to say okay. What are the minimums that we should be thinking about? We're talking about creating this. This virtual bubble for people to go through and travel safely. Sean My last flight was on March Eleventh I flew from lax to Washington Dulles on Boeing, seven hundred seven How would my experience be different if these recommendations were implemented and I went to the airport to take a flight. What would be different about my experience? Well for me. Everything's moving so fast so now I think what you're seeing wants. The crowds begin to build within within airports and on most flights, unfortunately for forbath for airline balance sheets. Social distancing isn't as big an issue is that will is. As it will be when travel starts to come back, but in checkpoint wines What was the first one of the basic recommendations is removing as possible of the you know touching things like checking kiosks GonNa. Try. This is GonNa be a big push for enabling the industry to do as much as it possibly can with not just comedy technology, but mobile technology so checking in online boarding passes on phones, things like that. Anything in the airport from the check in counters to screening areas. You're going to see social distancing. Apply on the aircraft. This is interesting so these recommendations they say where. Possible where booking. Rebels make it possible to to allow allow for social distancing on aircraft, but of course the airlines are clear in that fifty to sixty six percent load factors, depending on a wide body, or a narrow body is not a long-term solution. So the guidance stopped short of saying you. You really must do this on board. It says you must do this in places like an air and airport, screaming area or a airline check. Check in desk a lot easier to do their at least in theory on the airplane, though little more of an Economic Council and Economics definitely part of this document. It says it right up front. It was one of three pillars. They look that we have to keep going. We have to keep things going economically so now more distancing in the airports, hopefully an empty seat next to you and you know that will. The airport side will probably indoor. Onboard aircraft. Yen's you've written a lot about sort of the Balkanisation of how how this crisis has been dealt with I mean the key to the recovery of of international travel is to have uniform standards. What does I oughta think of these recommendations and and the chances that they will be applied uniformly. So I out has been very positive about the recommendations. It's been fully behind them. applauded the efforts, and it's been a big effort. Obviously, because a lot of different parties have been involved on, it has to has to be done in a very very short tear of time. in the crisis in a crisis situation, the problem they have is the question the second question really whether it's going to be clydes uniformly across basically on on a global scale, and I mean if you look at what. People are doing countries on doing this is smaller. Just taking a step back here. The key to all of this is the lifting of travel restrictions, so we have these guidelines and the assumption is if everyone run. Sticks to them than we can. Travel, restrictions. However? They're still a lot of restrictions in place. A lot of them are lifted Germany just removed restrictions for the entire you today, which was a big step German airlines. Of course, there's other countries. Spain is still not accepting a everyone or accepted people under harsh conditions that UK is is an exception. And are conflicts that needs to be resolved the latest of of them, being the dispute between China and the US about allowing others air carriers into into into the airports. There's politics involved. A. Factors that may not have to do directly with covert nineteen health protection. It makes it very hard so. We the three. Hosted a Webinar last week, and it was interesting when we polled are Moore's viewers from this industry. A sizable number of them were still very leery about traveling. They're not convinced. It's safe to get on an airplane now. Sean. Is it safe to get on an airplane? And is our airlines doing enough to communicate? The people things like the air filtration systems on aircraft and how they're directing. Answer your first question. Yes I didn't get safety to on an airplane but I I would practice. You know recommendations like wearing masks personally The airlines have gotten better. We're talking in the last. Last week's since that Webinar at communicating some of these benefits, the big problem that I see in one that we talked about a little bit on the web at are one of the big issues that we're hearing is still some concern from the the frontline workers white attendants pilots in particular here in the United States. They're concerned that their their companies are not following consistent protocol. On things on everything from communicating about what to do when they're potentially exposed to somebody with the virus to you know things that should be road at this point like how often flight decks cleaned, and what sort of material you're used. Alba has been making a big push. Since the crisis started to get mandates in place of the FAA has has saying that that that that health health regulations are not its jurisdiction has refused to mandate anything, but they pointed to CDC guides. The airlines meanwhile have in airports have been ramping up getting the supplies that they need masks to hand out. You know out whites and Co correctly materials, but even within the last few days checking with some of the Labor groups were still not hearing one hundred percent buying from the frontline workers. If you don't have one hundred percent buying from the frontline workers, and it's being reported or or tweeted about or being communicated. I think you're gonNA. Have you know you're gonNA have reticence on behalf of the public. It's similar to the Max issue. Boeing realized. Realized a little bit late in the game that they have to get the pilots on board when it comes to getting the Max back in the air, and to give people confidence that the Max is going to be safe, the same thing applies here with and such a pilot should supply attendants as well and Boeing is recognized on the Mac side, the airlines themselves need to recognize that their biggest ambassors. The people are happy on these airplanes every day. We're getting there, but at least in the US. We are not quite there yet and me. That's concern. And and then You're absolutely right Shawn, but on the other side on the on the on the customer side of things you have people who are concerns, Stu and That's. An extent and those. That have had enough of the restrictions and just WANNA. Go move on and may not be too eager to follow the rules, so there's this conflict to that. We need to take into account. The. One Key Issue here will be. To what extent people will stick to to rules? Social distancing distancing at the airports kind of disciplined boarding disciplined debating hand luggage, limitations that will come on for sure was many on many airlines. I see potential for great. Conflict there and there's actually been guidance by Otto and other bodies to members. Raising Awareness that that may be A. More unruly passenger. On board because of. So it's it's complicated and not easy to to resolve. You and Sean keep talking about social distancing jens up here in Washington. DC The standard for social distancing in public is is six feet That's just not possible on an airplane and probably difficult boarding in an airplane or going through customs, or whatever so. That's a complication here, isn't it? That's why people should should wear mosque. That's mosques. That's why airlines are post to introduce new boarding procedures folding the voting the last jobs I going, you know from window window seats I than going to to the seats the of courses they need to be. But, yeah, it's. It's going to be hard to okay well, we're. We're starting to run out of time, but yes I wanted to. At least end on a good point. We actually have some good news. The share today you WanNa. Tell us what it is. Yeah so has come up with the latest traffic figures, and they're seeing the now believing the now believe that. April was the low point of the crisis they see. A significant increase in flights in May surged percent about April. Albeit from a very very low level of course level, being still seventy three percent below generate, which is obviously season, so there is some good news about it's. It's early days and they also talked. About one interesting trend. Is Making. Things harder for airlines, but also gives them hope ironically. It's late booking. People are booking extremely late sixty one percent of the passengers today up looking. Up to three days in advance or even later. Only eight percent of people book twelve days or more out, so that means. Airlines don't know how many castles will becoming even four flights. That are you know this week later this week? On other hand there's there's great upside potential then. So. Giving them hope that they will fill more seats than they expected so let me get this right. You just said. Nearly two-thirds of passengers are booking within three days of travel, yes. Sixty sixty one percent and Obviously share, a was was much lower before the was like below fifty percent obviously most business chops, but now people seem to be waiting until the very loss moments to cook. And the kind of afford to because air fares on for April. May Twenty three percent lower than last year, so. Airlines offer offer discounts even for walk up fares. And people take advantage of that. Okay well. This is certainly a topic. We're going to be continuing to cover in aviation week. So stay tuned, and I'm sure on on another podcast. Well Jens Votaw Sean broaddrick. When asked if charges against Wilson admitted in light of the children's death Franklin said that this was not the time to discuss it. Our next. Story brings to. In April, we reported that forty five year old David, baton and stepdaughter twenty-eight-year-old Lisa. Landry disappeared from Chino. Valley Arizona. On Thursday law enforcement discovered their bodies inside a buried car in Evansville Iowa. The Arizona Republic, reports of the bodies were inside a blue, two thousand thirteen Subaru forester that belong to Landry. Forty two year old Alan Tucker was arrested on Saturday on two counts of abuse of a corpse. Means is not yet been charged in connection with the deaths, but please publicly named him as a person of interest. After, the break one of the Minneapolis. Police officers involved in the death of George Floyd, was arrested and charged in his killing. Now for our final story of the day. Over the weekend, the demonstrations in protest of the death of African American Man George Floyd spread across the nation and even the world. Floyd died last Monday after being handcuffed and restrained face down and held down on the ground by four Minneapolis police officers. The death was caught on camera witnesses. In, the video, one of the officers Derek Shaven as seen kneeling, unfolds neck for more than eight minutes ignoring the Maine's please. They cannot breathe and is about to die. All four officers involved were fired on Tuesday. One of the protestors demands is that all four former police officers involved in the death to face charges. On Friday that the main was partially met with the arrest of Shelvin. Derek Chevette in a nineteen year veteran of the Minneapolis Police Department was arrested late on Friday morning. He's been charged with third degree murder and second degree manslaughter. The Star Tribune reports. The shovel was booked in Ramsey. County jail and is being held in isolation. He's the first white officer to be criminally charged in the death of a black man in Minnesota history. He has since been placed on Suicide Watch, which is a standard in high profile cases. Although, the alleged crime happened in Hinton County. Shopping is being held in Ramsey County jail because of the threats against the Hennepin facilities. Chevron's bond has been set at five hundred thousand dollars. Many including Ben, crump, the lawyer representing the Floyd family are not satisfied with the charges against Shaaban. They argue that the charges against him are to light and that the three other officer should also be charged. Ellie Hoenig a former prosecutor. Legal analyst for CNN wrote based on the criminal complaint against Shaaban she dumps the commitment of the prosecutor's Office to getting justice in this case. A charge of third degree murder means the defendant committed act quote imminently dangerous to others and evincing depraved mind without regard for human life. The maximum punishment for third degree murder is twenty five years in prison. Honing believes that given the facts of the case charge of second degree murder carrying a maximum penalty. Forty years would be more appropriate. For that charge, it needs to be proven that the defendant kill the victim without premeditation. The criminal complaint states the shopping kept kneeling of Floyd's neck for eight minutes and forty six seconds to minutes past when one of the officers tried and failed to find a pulse. Hoenig believes that given those facts. second-degree murder can be proven. She also notes that the prosecutors admitted some affords words from the account of the event. For. Example, the complaint is not mentioned. The foy told shopping quote. Don't kill me and I'm about to die. These are the most critical statements to this case. Because they showed Shaaban was notified of the mortal danger, floyd was in and still persisted. She if the shows the desire to go out on the defendant. Hoenig is also concerned because according to the complain. The autopsy found the Floyd of a combination of coronary disease, police, restraint and potential intoxicants. Honi queries what potential toxic even mean, either the talk screen shows drugs or it does end. The vagueness suggests there's no proof of any intoxication. So why mention it unless in an attempt to take away from the culpability of the defendant? Finally, she stated the existence of prior. is relevant to the murder charge. Murders contribution to the death sufficient for legal responsibility. Even at the victim was already sick. However HOENIG. The charges can still be added an amended as the investigation proceeds. The statement has been echoed by local authorities. Mike Freeman the Hennepin county attorney told the Tribune the he anticipates traveled will also be. Three other officers involved to Tau G. Alexander Krung and Thomas Lane although he would not comment on what charges will be. and Keith Ellison the Minnesota Attorney General told Fox News quote. We're very early in this process very early. It's not uncommon to amend charges. It's not uncommon to add defendants. Fox News was also the first to report. The shopping informed may have known one another as they both worked two security guards for nightclub. The club's former owner Maya. Santamaria told the outlet that she did not know if the two new one another, although they had worked the same events in the past. Santa Maria said Shove worked security for the club regularly for years whereas Floyd. Only began working last year and only worked at events organized by African American promoters. She said that on nights where the club attracted a primarily African American crowd shoving would treat patrons aggressively without reason quote, he would everyone instead of apprehending the people who were fighting. He would call back up the next thing you know. They're be five or six squad cars. I told him I thought this was unnecessary to be. Pepper sprayed the knee-jerk reaction of being afraid. It seemed overkill. Concern did voice my opinion, but police officers have a wave justifying what they do. That's it for today's episode of SORTA and scale daily. That is our daily television show the starters, which we know you're watching nightly on NBA TV, and or YouTube. I'm Jay skeets alongside me a man who saw an Bino frog yesterday tasks mellows, I did see a frog. I don't know if I'd call it an album, as my friendly Alice was it was a very very light brand that blended in with the the wood of my deck. So no, I'm definitely not calling the the eyes were dark. Okay to my right. It's the bearded one Trey Kerby. Hey, just a point of clarification that was likely towed. Oh, Dr frogs, but nonetheless, thanks, man. Wow. Albino towed. Well, right there. It's the Ozzie. He could really speak on this. He just went to the zoo, Leila's, friends, but this morning this morning. I was out for a walk up. And I saw I thought oh that looks like a tortoise over there. As close it certainly was a tortoise, but it had been run over by car. And I was disgusting up close. But anyway, all right. Actually, it was a turtle. What is the difference? Dropping drain age. Mutant ninja tortoise starters. Producer Medio one time cigarette push me on stands and blamed it on and owl. A lot of animal taco already here and finally making all this magic happen JD. Hello there is and here we are. If you want to get in touch with the show, you can't a number of ways you can Email us the starters at NBA dot com. You can follow us on Twitter and or Instagram at the starters or check us out on Facebook at Facebook dot com slash the starters. I guess it's official. We're now on Facebook before I move on real quick clarification. Here. All tortoises are in fact turtles, but not all turtles are tortoise. Ooh. The rectangle square of nature. I'm not sure what got hit this morning not doing too gross now. Yeah. It was one hundred percent dead though. Yeah. Yeah. So much for those hard protective shells. Yeah. Well, I guess someone hit it. And then they moved off the road to the side of the road. That'll do close enough. Right. Well, what would you do if you ran over a tortoise? Drive. You look a little down the street. Did you see Yoshi spinning control nothing? No, okay. The most important thing to remember about tortoises as that they are exclusively land creatures. My friend interest- interesting. Yeah. Harry great start to this. Fascinating drought are very landlocked. So must've been or. On. Tortoise is a big river. Right. We see them all the time. Why tortoises were generally in the ocean? No. I just said that tortoises are exclusively. Turtled turtles turtle. All right. We got tweet of the week at some point on this show after we talk about every. Gonna fire the pun gun. We'll shoot a horse or two we'll step on the beach. Everybody knows that. We'll probably see turtle not Coniston where we read your emails, and we read your tweets, but I guess it's official. We're now. Pitch this up. They knew I asked you three times. I specifically do that. And I knew it up. Swearing good. We're gonna gave seven baby JD. Sorry. The extra work. Lamarcus Aldridge scored twenty six points to modern Rosen. He added twenty five you couldn't miss a jumper helped the Spurs overcome Yokich is monster forty three points monster game to beat the nuggets on Thursday night. One Twenty-one three forcing a game seven of this opening round series. Two. So here we go Saturday night. How many times are we going to hear? Rupel down on the house knows you really spoon. Yes. What did you guys? Think of this game are the nuggets. Should they be worried here? Even though it's at home was this just one of those crazy Spurs games where Aldridge into Rosen couldn't miss especially from mid range. What changes do we see? What's her? But they definitely have to worry going into a game seven against the San Antonio Spurs. But there is still the favourite and throws in Eldridge have not been great this series. This is only the second time they've both been twenty plus in a game. And you said to Rosen was awesome in the second half. But he was kind of lackluster in the first half until he had that wild wild free throw scenario right at the end of the half. I think that kinda got him going. It was a close game at half Yokich at forty three. And they still lose. I think that's the scary part is that they're gonna play him one on one now and let everybody else try and go off, and they went from seven guys in double digits to only four guys in double digits from games five to game six and the Spurs are they just got a little confidence. But I think the I think the nuggets can can get it back. The Spurs are getting dirty yucca Pertile nice little screen there with a little need to Jamal Murray's and quad. We've got our first Charlie horse of the series now. Now now, it's fun or stuck. You're stuck. Pertile turtle as well. It was decided like really one run that end of the third quarter of the fourth quarters. I ripped off like at twenty two to four run. And a big part of it was Malone sent a lot of his best players to the bench. And and there was no solid role players for the nuggets in in game six that no one else really showed up outside of your kitchen and Murray, but there will say trying to win three in a row against those two on the road. They've been playing well and the Spurs were facing elimination on their home court with a very well coached team and some players who hadn't been great. But finally, they knew what was on the lines had a huge game. Rudy gay gay was good. So if on the nuggets listen at time you've beaten the Spurs there you've played well in this series. There's no reason to FIA San Antonio. But it's also a situation where the experience San Antonio could come into play. And and you know, you know, they're going to be ready in well prepared. But if the nuggets play the why they've played for a lot of the series they should win. They should win on Saturday night and and should advance because they. Got off to a bad start in the series. I two games. We're not good. Even that. I split them. They weren't good. But they seem to have, you know, picked up from there to understand listen, we are a better team than we've earned this right to be here. This is where we are this season Murray had been better Joe Yokich is being great. They made that adjustment of bringing Tori, Craig in which worked certainly in game four. So no injury concerns of major injury concerns. They're just going to go out there and play the way that they've played all season and they should win. I think a lot of the reason the Spurs one last night, though, is because of that experience you would think going into for the nuggets going into San Antonio place. You hadn't won since two thousand twelve you're going in there. You already got a win in San Antonio trying to do it. Again, the Spurs are saying no way. That's why I'm a little more concerned for the nuggets. 'cause a lot of people were on the nuggets for last night. A lot of people thought this series is going to be over because it's. That the mode a little bit. Exactly. But then you know, their bench didn't show up Jamal Murray. He ended up with sixteen points. He wasn't really that. Great. It was basically Millsap was good Yokich was awesome. And Gary Harris was okay as well. So I would be a little bit concerned. It's nice that the this is why you play the entire season while you play your hardest. The entire season to get home court advantage for game seven two. Well, that's going to be a lot of pressure for some guys who just played the biggest game of their season and didn't show up for it. I keep putting this out. But it's still blows my mind only once an MBA history as a number seven seed beat a number two seed in a best of seven series. It's still so weird to me because we've seen more number eight seats beat the number one seed in a best of seven, but it was the Spurs. They did to the maths back in two thousand ten excited though. I mean, it's not really a shock that we have a game seven of us were saying, I mean almost everybody sticking six or seven for this series. But it is all these other guys. I mean Yokich is probably going to give you a thirty type triple double type game, but Murray's a bellwether with this squad. And then these other guys, and I want to see Maloney might have to have a quick hook with some of his guys like like will Barton. Who was I thought garbage fame? Six Plumlee is generally garbage in garbage in game say like he has to maybe he sticks with his normal rotation, but has to have like, okay, we're playing our main guys all oughta minutes in a game like unless win game gopher Fisher. Popovich was kind of odd about the strategy on Yokich off to the name. And Popovich he was in a bit of a Pissy mood. Anyway in that press conference, but he was like, well, I'm not telling you, I'm not telling you. But that to me says yes that was the plan. Let let if Yokich is going to have a forty plus game. And I lose pretty easily fine. We live with that. Yes. I guess because in the winds in the nuggets wins they generally hit threes. They get looks at threes, and they hit threes. And they had some looks in game six, but no one was hitting them not with any consistency. Yeah. You just gotta think that they'd be a little bit more comfortable at home. And it seems like a blow it on paper in game six after all Sendai. But like you said skeets it was a third to fourth quarter run as a fairly close game at half. And then the third quarter. Yeah. Yeah. After at half after Dhamar did that little thing with the free throw thing, and that's just sort of like a home court advantage kind of momentum swinger and to me I'm not that worried about Dhamar going off again because he hasn't been great all the series. I'm I've been a little disappointed in Dhamar, you'd think that looking across the world there at quiet and what he's doing that. Maybe he'd step up and be a little bit greater because they need Dhamar and Aldridge to be great. And again, only the second time they both been twenty plus on the road. I'm concerned about them. But we should have a barn. Barner aren't VAR. What's new would wait at Charles saying burn Byron Barnard? Learn I don't know. I think it is Barton Barton. I can't remember. Cheering on the Spurs on Saturday. Not you think he's string for sure because they have to go to Denver if if the nights we outright, and of course, and of course, if the Spurs do in then they've gonna probably fly back to San Antonio, then back to Portland friendly a dietitian between game one. So let's really fascinating about this game. Seventy and the blazers shut us all up in the first round. But the winner of this best the seven here this first round series between the nuggets the Spurs conference finals hundred percent in play. You're gonna have a series against the blazers. I get that. I don't think I don't even know who I would pick with any of these three teams in whatever, you know, whoever playing whoever they're in the blazers, but there's like big stakes involved here going pretty deep in the playoffs. Who knows maybe the warriors at rockets like kill each other. And there's injury. You never know. There's a chance a small chance, but a chance nonetheless of you can sort of squint and see a path to the NBA finals show because the rockets and wars are playing the second round the the side of the bracket. Not technically up a. Yeah. Yeah. Well, according to the Houston Rockets, they are because their stay in Golden State as they don't know who they're playing can't wait, but this side of the bracket of nuggets Spurs blazers thunder. Yeah. It's just a it's got an easier path to the conference finals where they'll get slaughtered. Maybe. So quick prediction. You like nuggets in game seven. Yeah. I feel I don't feel is sort of soup inevitable them. Dispose could absolutely win this game. But I'm taking the nuggets trials on taking the nuggets nuggets in seven at least on the board. Stupid. Why would I pick the nuggets to win in San Antonio? That was really double anyway, so nuggets and seven they got the homecourt advantage. And that's the big thing. I think that was part of the reason the Spurs played so well, it was a jumper fest for Aldridge Andrew rose when they were both money from the mid range. Maybe that's not the case in Denver. I saw a tweet going around. It may have like when they sit when you dive into the numbers it may have been the greatest like mid range shooting playoff game of all time. I think there were twenty one you check my I sixty nine percent like on that range from art. Yeah. Very nice twenty for twenty nine so. Yep. Sixty nine percent. That's amazing. I mean that that's for the Spurs and Durose in an older that love that shot. That's very very. Yeah. And the nuggets killed him in the paint once again. So you'd think that that's a nice advantage going home, and I took the Spurs and six, but. Really what it comes out to will the nuggets be nervous. And that's why I took the Spurs in overall. But I feel like they shaken those, nurses. I'll take the nuggets looking good fuel prediction off three games three games in one quarter. And then they turned it around. Well, let's get to warriors clippers we have a game six in this series. And not allow people saw that coming. No, not for sure. Not for sure Friday night. We have game six and that is in LA because the clippers unexpectedly, let's be honest. They forced the got the victory in game five the extended the series. Specially when the rockets took care of the jazz a little earlier in the night. Can they do it again? Can they extend it quite unexplained? Thompson says but sounds of it no way. I mean, we we're gonna come out. We're going to win big base. Go win by frigging third. Pretty cool. But game five was the surprise. I just had a bathroom encounter with a man named Gary he walked and he's like, no basketball tonight. But there's a starter show. I was like oh contra he's like why? I actually thought the warriors weren't gonna pull it out. I'm like they didn't man they're playing tonight. He's like what? No, no. There's actually a game tonight. They're playing the clippers game six. He's like. Wow. Now, I left you guys know, I don't like talking about my man, Gary straight. You can't trust anybody in the bathroom because I bumped into somebody in the bathroom the other day by the name of Doug. And he said oh. Great basketball going on with their great basketball going. I know is also after the warriors loss, and he said, well, they're going for three in a row never been done before. And I just said this way out of here. That's why they have barbershop talk for LeBron James's show. It's not bathroom talking. Not sitting on a toilet show. Wanna try? Want to try? So talk. We all sit in different stalls. Keep the doors open. We just talk about the big games storyline. We don't have a six stall toilets. So some people are gonna have to be at a urinal craning their necks. Yeah. That's fun. Drink a lot of water over. Yeah. Two people at the sink to people into disabled stall you test enough for two people. This is not seats made for TV show. So we can do whatever we want. Far there. You can sit on the bark. We're making the rules with this new show, right? Hand that teepee when it's needed. We talked about the clippers, you know, unbelievable game five, and that was Lou Williams taking over once again, you know, mantras Harrow barely missing a shot Beverly hitting threes in the first half and hold those rebounds. Michael Green nice play from Doc Rivers here. The last two starting him. And it's it's you know, it's limited. Bogus success. Yes. Sure. And he's been like a minus twenty three in the two games since we're Michael Green has started because he's just a smaller, and he was bit of a stretchy five. Have you lost confidence in the warriors that although in this series, even if you still think they win in six or seven maybe moving forward to take on the rockets, not really you have not not really I mean, it was definitely surprised that they didn't close it out, and I'll be very pissed off. If they clip is done win tonight and to at least in one game. Win win two games on the road. And none of slippers. Is almost should force. They have to they have to or else. I'll be really annoyed because what was the point of winning game too. What was your doing it? Yeah. Okay. Win one at a time. But no, I think the I think the challenge for the warriors right now is just you know, the the plate so much basketball, and they sort of usually go into these games and just finish them off and the clippers as Doc Rivers, the cockroaches. No, you can't get rid of them. You can actually kill them pretty easily. But I know what he's saying. Yeah. In kill one. Yeah. You saw one but different. But I mean a lot of them. I mean chat to the cockroach but pretty easy to kill. If you have to kill him. We see in pass occasionally pretty quick. But I think it's also that they can survive anything. Yeah. A nuclear. Hortus isn't. When you kill a cockroach. Or are you doing it with your hand, not assure you? Yeah, you're finding something. Yeah. All right. Let's go difficult and also cockroaches. Are these flying cockroaches? I haven't seen a fly. Now. Just crawls, right, right? I'm just saying that in other parts of the world, there's flying cockroach anyway. How we hired to kill. Yeah. But but I think for the worry is you know, it's been a bit of a rough season full in a long season. And they just haven't got that same. Oh, joe. But I I again to see the clippers come back and win the series. I don't think that's going to happen. I think ends to not even though I I'll be he'll be angry. Theory angry. I mean, come on, man. The hold on you'll be angry the clippers. That's still a hell of a series to take two games to win two games in the oracle. I guess one of the three at home. Okay. I understand that. But I mean, they've impressed me. They really have my worry for the warriors is the worry level. I should say is a little bit higher for sure they're contemplating a lineup change in round one for Andrew bogut coming out of the lineup. That's strange. That's unwarranted like this series gone to game six that's only half that only had once over the last two seasons when they won the the NBA championship. And you gotta wonder if that DeMarcus cousins injuries was just something that they're playing for had something sort of that they're pumped for a little bit more than they are showing every single game. Like, they're not coming out and being all that pump to play defense that just they shouldn't be dropping multiple games. When Houston is going to be hanging out waiting for them in the bay, just chilling. And and rested. And everybody doesn't think Houston does that same level of last year. And I guess that's why nobody really is all that worried about the Golden State Warriors. But their number one number two just as good. I mean who they took him to game seven and the warriors won't get upset until we shouldn't be worried about enough until it actually happens. But it's it's it's closer than it was before game five in this series to me killing cockroaches is exhausting. You know, if you kill one of them, no big deal. But if you see two or three in the same night, you hate it. And that's what the warriors are like they're trying to kill these cockroaches night in and night out every night. They gotta have their flip-flops ready because you never know when wants coming by. If you're living dead. Yeah. But for whatever reason the cockroaches have beaten down the warriors. They're not they're slapping on the floor the entire time. That's going to have to be the case once they do get through to the next round against Houston. But it's also easy to say man is Houston been less. Impressive this year. If Donovan Mitchell Meeks shot at the end of game three they're going to a game six, you know, they almost lost to the jazz who they handled pretty easily last year. It's easy to build a narrative around anything. I'm not super nervous about the warriors beating the rockets. You know, they did go to game seven last year, but Andre would dial and just a couple of games that was a huge missed for them. It's a good point. That's a good insertion into the narrative and either way we can call Doc Rivers Papa Roach and Austin. It wasn't Puffer. Which isn't that a man? This is my last resort. That's right. I I have felt. He'll not vindicated or anything like that. Because whatever, but it's gonna win it in real life. But we did our studies coach of the year. I did throw a vote to a coach your vote to Doc Rivers. I feel good about that. Now even after this series for a guy that can't win a home game. He's got a chance tonight. And I think he has done some nice little moves here. And I know they're playing from behind. They have nothing to lose. I get that. It's like, no one's picking them. Anyway, but they are scrappy they're playing on. And he's he's gotten credible performance out of the two rookies, which is just unbelievable. But I've also enjoyed his post games coming into the locker room after the winds. This is this is a copy us. They kill US House. He's gotten to that point. But not to finally gone. You know to me, but hasn't his voice always been like that. Yeah. But I mean, you think about those Celtics days when he was screaming on the is gone to the championship. Like, it must've. It surely would have deteriorated to the point where it doesn't have one. Lost his voice completely never comes back. Yes. I. He does a lot of golfing. I can't imagine. He's yelling a lot out on the golf course. It's frowned upon in general. I think that's where he's like just saving his voice. Olive oil. Yeah, you'll see. So you you think it's over here tonight from class should be because the same thing happened off the game to when the warriors are pummel them in taxes. And now they know of the rockets right ready whiting, they certainly don't want to have to go home and play another game. And then it'll be probably only two days before they play Houston again. So very quick turnaround. Right. Because if they win this Friday night, they take care of business here close out the series. They play on Sunday they play on Sunday. Wow. That is Sunday afternoon to not a forty two around. You started playing Sunday. No matter what. The game seven game one. Yeah. Okay. Six of it is already. I thought you were going to get it again as soon as you said number seven. Can we talk about game of thrones in the Senate kingdoms and stuff like that? Or is the poopie quarters that the warriors have not playing D just allow just chilling and then and then the other team gets confidence. So will the rockets kinda get hot? I don't know. I'm just building a narrative to make sure that the warriors lose a game or two or three the guy that built the narrative, unfortunately, with Steve Kerr, he said, it's great that, you know, the clippers are close to us that to me says we're not taking them super seriously the team therefore probably isn't gonna take him seriously. And that hasn't that is a problem when you're playing against clippers team who was gonna cockroach it every single time out there. They're tried heart. But they haven't been serious all year. Right. So true. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And Steve Kerr allows that because he knows it's time to be ready in the playoffs. But when the playoffs come he should have said this team plays harder than any other team in the NBA. If we're not ready. They're going to beat us. But instead he said, they're very close. You have to figure tonight. They'll probably have someone like Iki just lock on Lou when he ends at this something like that just because if you stop blew the clip is on winning can't stop blue though. That's he's tried. Everybody's tried. He's he's been great. I like, you know, Dhaka's playing him up and saying he's a great score just like staff work. And wrong either. Honestly. When he's going. He's he's fixed impossible slowdown. Let's get into the Eastern Conference series here. Raptor Sixers that one Saturday night game one we now know the time seven thirty PM eastern for that one in the two games this season. We talked about on your stage show because souls done a great job on Embiid is that where we start in this series. When we get to break it down. Is it just the idea of containing? Joel Embiid trying to do with a one on one matchup not bringing help staying home on some of the other talented guys on the Sixers, and you can maybe do that with Marcus all I've heard before that the playoffs are all about matchups and the Sixers do not match up. Well, with the Toronto Raptors this is the team in the Eastern Conference that they wouldn't wanna see out of the good teams because a Marcus all being a really really good one on one. Big man defender Joan be is going to go out on the perimeter. Probably trying do a little dance with them has fun out there with them, but across the board quasi up Ben Simmons every single guy is it's a pretty good matchup. But yes, it starts. With Joel Embiid. He starts everything for this Philadelphia. Seventy Sixers team worried about his health a little bit and the matchup for sure in the two games this season. Khazal held him be to a combined seven of Twenty-three shooting from the field for just nineteen points in the possessions. He defended him and in five career games. I mean kept him beat Tillich fourteen points per game. He struggled. You gotta go out. Well, I think if you're the if you're Joel I agree. That's a problem 'cause Marcus all has held Joel Embiid to seven free throw attempts game when they have played against each other and beat averages ten free throws per game this season that's up from in the past. But that's a big reason. The Sixers have an efficient offense. It's because Joel Embiid gets fouled all the time. And he goes to the line, and he makes his free throws Marcus doesn't follow much so similar to what Al Horford got six say. Exactly, right. That's smart. Really intelligent defender that can do it without fouling. I did exactly if you're used to a guy running into you and Leinen into you and trying to draw contact, but you know, how to not follow him and send him to the line. It's it's a huge advantage. And that's definitely going to play a part for Casalan MB. Yeah. That's why I picked the represent five. I think the matchup certainly favour Toronto. Defensively. I think Danny green will probably be on Jimmy Butler. I guess and PASCAL will be on to Toby Tobias Harris green in Lowery will switch which in their roles of Redican a little a little bit. And renegade. Obviously keep your eye on him. But I I really just think that those raptors matches matchups I sort of tilt the mole towards Toronto Butler or a Harris's a key player in the series to me because if he has Danny green if if Jimmy Butler has Danny green or Kyle Lowry on that's a post up opportunities to meet Jimmy Butler. Also, a guy that draws a ton of fouls. He could score inside. He's given the raptors problems in the past when it was when he rose. That's it. Right. So, yeah, if if Jimmy Butler is going against, you know, the third perimeter defender for the raptors or if Tobias Harris is going against the third predator defender for the raptors they've got a they've got to perform. That's why you have four stars in your starting lineups. So the first two aren't going so well, the next guy steps up and has a great within all of this. You know, okay, Khazal guarding and bead know Danny or Kyle trying to shutdown Butler, if if they get switches and both trying to post up lower, even the Lowery's pretty solid stout defender post up you got collide like roaming. Glenn theory is going to be on Simmons in a half court sense. And you can leave him. He's he's looking you looked incredible in the magic series when he's played this year. He's still looks like one of the best defenders in the world. And that's dangerous. I think he's going to be everywhere. I think in because because he's allowed to be. Yeah. Because Simmons not going to scare you from outside. No. Of course, not the thing about Larry as well as he's gonna throw his body into the paint. If Joel is you know, if he's in there trying to make calls going to come down there, and then kuwa- taking charge onto he'll he'll do. Four in game four taking charges for that sort of extra help, you know, it's not like rim protection. But it's more just like get Joel if he's frustrated, you know, he's going to throw the Bose around and throw his body around all alternatively Joel just stopped foreing away from three which is the raptors will happily leave that. So you know, if you can frustrate him then Brett Brown does certainly have a decision to Mike raptors in five they'll you're going with shooter. You're not alone. I definitely seemed to be the favorite in this series from most the Sixers got quality. And and and you know, if if Brett Brown does keep sort of to start is at at all times, the raptors bench has to perform. Yeah. Which is which has been a problem at times. But overall, I just I went on look at the match ups. I think who's gonna who's gonna still pass PASCAL the way he's been playing right now. No, he's fast. He can stayed on the permanent can get inside and school. Like, he's he's a very difficult match. And Jimmy Butler is good defender. Sees he gets beaten a lot off the dribble blog guy. So if he's at The Danny green, you know, he's going to be running around getting his three point looks if Jimmy's on him he really hit a three in the first round to. Yeah. He might. I'm pretty compelling green. He's a he's a proven. I'm saying that's more likely. He's gonna hitting some threes. And Jimmy gets a little lazy at defense at times as well. So this there's some things that the raptors can exploit, but if the Sixers if the Sixers are on the game and and Riddick sitting shots. I mean, I think the records just blow them off the call. These should be close games. Yeah. Starters to some extent. I mean, there's so much talent. And yeah, you may be in some of the one on one match ups you lean towards the raptors just all of them, I leave. But I mean, they're both really good starting five. They proved it in the playoffs proved it in limited minutes when they've all been together in the regular season. So then you get into like. Yeah. This sort of coaching of light. Well, who's out there with? I went to by players twenty nine points and six threes. I mean, he's capable of that. But he's also capable of throwing up a few duds in that to spot. If the Sixers have one of those guys where everyone's hot, then they probably going to win that game coach coach nurse do with the way. The Sixers do like they have their two starters at the start of those second and fourth quarters. Like is he going to go away from his rotations? Or is it going to try to I like with his bench units? Or is it going to be like, oh, maybe we gotta keep our starters out here a little bit more to match up against there's just sort of play the matching game against them. What he should have Casale attached ten beat anytime in beads on the court all should be out there. There's nobody else on the raptors roster who can stick him at all. So I mean, if if Embiid comes out after seven or eight minutes, which is typically the thing, and then starts the second quarter. I think that's for sure for sure that's a guarantee. Yeah. I think as we saw it in that first round he's going to be a little bit careful because when he had the bench unit in PASCAL. They didn't it did not do not I so. Yeah, he probably wants I have a fairly quickly. But you've also gotta show some trust in those guys that they will get it together because I'm fit for advance league Flint fan. Yeah. But he used frustrating. He's very frustrating at times. Yeah. It's very different in terms of the bench. Orlando verse Philadelphia because Jimmy Butler is probably gonna be playing point guard for the Sixers McConnell is not doing that right now. So you gotta match up, and maybe it's PASCAL as he's been playing with four benched players and just lying him up and Fred veins leaders note on Fred van Fleet Street, just hanging up off ball and. Nurse has to get a little bit more creative. But not too worried about that. I'm more worried about Ben Simmons from the Sixers side. It's almost like an Eric Bledsoe playing against the Boston Celtics situation with quiet Leonard across the floor from him coil. Energised a perfect match up for him. And as he said skeets a little roaming. I think that'll get in Ben Simmons head, and we'll see how Ben response to that. And if the raptors do get those deflections and get those steals like turnovers, that's why they're dangerous. I mean Lowery's not afraid to throw it ahead to a streaking Siaka mistreating Leonard down there. They get a lot of these points. Sixers have been really good at getting back because they turn over there. Yeah. The worst that turning it over in the playoffs. But I expected them to be giving up a lot of points on turnovers, but looking at the stats, they they get the heck back. They are a good team defensively themselves. And so will they double quiet a little bit? Because quiet, you know, he kind of gets the blinders going sometimes, and maybe he's just going to Chuck up some shots in Naccache is involved. I think that's that'll be in the cards to try and get. Qui- the coin machine turning the ball over himself in the bench matchups. It really is Serge vanfleet and the norm. Those are really the only three guys coming off the raptors bench right now, especially with. Oh, gee, we don't know his status. I guess. One for sure. And then on the Sixers side James Ennis who has played very very well for the Sixers after the acquired him in the season. He played well in four games versus the nets, Mike, Scott. You're going to see him. He's got the heel injury right now, which is huge blow for the seventy Sixers bench, which is already, shall we don't know his status sort of day to day, so whether or not he's gonna play in game one we'll find out on Saturday night. But Bill use him. I think as their small center, they're going to play them at the five because Bobin could be tough match up for him like Baucus on like a box will just pull him out or even to the free throw line and be jumper because bull just can't stick with them. And that's really it. Yeah. Mcconnell does he play more Bolden to see come in? As he gets some of those at the five minutes probably be promptly row is there to those everything the raptors are running. He knows everything. The bucks are on everything. The Celtics are running actually knows everything. The Suns are running. Three of the scene at all. So yeah, it could be decided in some of these in some of these bench match like, yeah. We think it's gonna be great seriously raptors and five tasks who. Yeah. Logic says five because they own matchups, but I'm a rapper's fan. One extra game. Okay. Raptors six trae. I got the raptors in Semnan. Still haven't made up for Matt keep it firing going. Raptors in six sorry. Matt do you have to have a crazy drop for six? And six Geno van oily. Whoa. Thank you. All right, everybody, taking the raptors. That doesn't make me feel comfortable. That's the crazy part. It's weird really weird. Very uncomfortable in this. We will at this stage last season. Didn't we against the against me? No, you didn't know no trade it and he played literally Braun factor. More worrisome Brown. Come. I did. Yeah. For you if you'll Brett Brown, then why don't you say LeBron just just come and sit on Al behind me? Just like when he's with beds, all my infects it coats when Donald Trump brought those Clinton accusers. Woo. That's LeBron sitting there. Yeah. Clutch hook up with Ben. You guys are feeling comfortable though. Yeah. Yes. I because it's weird having Colli just makes me feel so currently it's just like a warm quilt. There was a love lot articles there on the internet. This is a different raptors team. We gotta be comfortable. Don't worry. They're not gonna blow it then. They literally lost game. One. Straight words, they've never done before. But how can you feel? Yeah. They played the magic the magic here. The worst playoff team who is an actual playoff team the pistons yet don't count. I'm sorry guys. But I mean, you gotta assume the raptors are losing game one. So you're saying four out of five against the Sixers. I don't I actually don't think they're going to lose game one. I do on Saturday night. Not not at my watch party. Trae by watch five in a row. Wow. Maybe six in both unprecedent. I hear what you're saying. They what are they two in fourteen all time in game one one last year against the wizards. And they want against the sixes in game. One in the round two with a lost in seven cats aren't good at rallying game one. So that's why. Comfortable. Losses. They lost their game on this year. The loss of the Celtics game one round to last year and against the heat when they won the series four one loss game to Jayme off the bench and had a big edge on is not healthy. That's my I know I know he played in four of the five games. But that gives me a little bit of positive. I love the Koi match over expensive. And they're gonna find him. They're going to they're going to make sure quiz on Ben Simmons. I think at some points. And I would be worried if I'm Ben I think, you're right. I just keep calling back Ken goose AllState afoul trouble because you could see you can easily picture as great a defender as he is. And be just getting them in foul. Trouble. It right away. It gets quick hook. And now, it's a Baca like at least you have a Buckeye media. He's no slouch buddy Inca, Saul. Yeah. He's a big strong body. Yeah. Not as clever defended beats going to do much better handling assault. I do bring up the the hell factor because he averaged twenty four minutes series and part of it was because they're blowouts. But also part of it was because he was gassed he wasn't right. So Mark just has to stay on the floor enough. And he and he's just a smart defender. So homecourt helps to wraps and five reps and six raps after six in reps in seven right quickly. We've already done bucks Celtics for the most part here. But this one does get underway on Sunday very excited obviously for this series as well. The big question is what did the Celtics do with Janas? How do you slow him? I don't even think it's actually as much who stops the honest. I'm more curious to see how they try and play on us. Do you can you back up and dare him and try and go them into shooting or do actually crowd him and sort of funnel him to the rim was easily going to be able to do. But then stay at home on like shooters and stuff like that. I'm just excited to see the strategy that Stevens ends up going with and they've typically played more. So the second what you're saying. Let you on a score. Whole bunch of blinds. And we're gonna guard everybody else which in that case wouldn't be surprising. If you honest averages forty points a game for this series because Al Horford can do his best. But he's still not physically as big as you on this as quick as you honest. He's a smart guy knows how to play defense. He's going to make it as tough as anybody can on this Celtics roster with the guys they got healthy. But it's still going to be a big series for Yannis. That's why Eric Bledsoe asked to show up. Chris Middleton has to show up those guys they're going to be tough. But if the bucks are going to have if the bucks are gonna look as good as they did during the regular season Middleton and bloods, don't have to be as good as they were. And the Celtics do defend this report line. Well, anyway, so whether or not they need to change his strategy. All that much is is a question for me. I'd I think I need to. I think it's like, you know, Al Horford you play with him well against the honest, if he's coming into the paint will just live with that for all to see how it's going because if it's twos threes and we've seen that that has had some effect on the box offense at times. It stays inside us Chevy. Joie six fouls. Yes. Some Morris fouled just throwing his one of his weaknesses short frustrate him. And and just don't let anyone else luck Bledsoe or Middleton get into a groove really on. So I think I think you would just leave with the twos over the threes. If you're the Celtics using Brad Stevens in game one starts Baynes. With the with the problem of brook Lopez, you know, being out there who would have to be you know, what I mean? Tight him Brown kyri tyrod. Yeah. Right. Yeah. But Brooke is a weird matchup for Baynes. Baynes ain't going to be out there at the three point line cardinal. That's interesting. Maybe for the first half. Yeah. Then maybe by the second half. It's like, it's not the foot speed isn't quite there. Especially baynes. I think he's sprained ankle maybe in his in the first round. And then, you know, got hit hitting the junk had a little bit. So the guy's taking some shots. No doubt that this doesn't necessarily seem like a series for Aaron Baynes that being said, you would love to have another guy there at the rim. Yeah. When you honest is going inside and the pain they scored what sixty something in the game. Almost a in round one. They're going to live in the paint. You honestly is gonna for sure it's better to have two guys. They're than one. But if that's the case, Brooke Lopez's wide open. Yeah. Or you put Gordon Hayward out there, and then brook Lopez has five inches on can still shoot over him. It's a tough match-up for the Celtics. No doubt. Is everything in the first round the back of the go at him. So he's he's ready. He's been all season. He said. Coming from the pistons though, well, he don't takes yet. But he's he's seen every type of defense and he's comfortable with it. Yeah. The the Celtics I think are a little bit overrated defensively the way they handled Pacers team that couldn't score that was leading on them. Most of this a lot of the series, and they turned it on for one quarter really defensively. That's all they had to do against this Pacers Pacers had historically bad quarters against the Boston, Celtics. But now they're taking on the offense league. The I think everything is in the in the bucks favor at this point. I'm excited for Cari to see what he does in this series. This is the series really for him to to decide whether or not the Celtics season, and he and him being there is legit because getting pasta pices show. They did it quite easily. But this is where I think kyri could either really stand up and carry his team all perhaps the Celtics struggled a little bit. In Carter tries to do too much because he get tends to do that as well at times. I'm actually struggling to actually predict this series because I just it's so relying on the three multi. Even with the Celtics because that's what the bucks give up. Go ahead shoot threes. That's what we'll do. We'll drop our bigs, and you shoot those threes. They're gonna get looks. And the Celtics have like a bunch of guys. You're like, oh, yeah. You know Tatum? Commit a corner. Three kyri can catch on fire Brown inconsistent. Maybe. But yeah Morris, he's not afraid to shoot them like Horford, even some of their base can step owed even beans we've seen shoot them. But like, I don't know. We'll they for four games stringing together and hit a bunch because I think that's what they're going to get a lot of looks at them. And that's exactly what. But in the bucks. Do they go nuts? I'm I'm oddly leaning towards the Celtics though. Which is I don't know. I did not doing this. How you feel confident? And obviously with Hollywood coming in off the bench full them. He's been really good. Like, he's he's getting it together. Just bucks have been so much more consistent this year and their way better than they were last year in the playoffs with Jason Terry Shabazz Muhammad Tyler Zeller and part park. Undivided Parker playing minutes instead of those guys. You've got George hill. Nikola miratec DJ Wilson and Pat Conatel, and there's there's there's their floors way higher. And I don't see them really dropping off. It's it all sorts with Yannis Bledsoe. And Middleton become better players because they're you know, they've got a guy who's a real real real number one star. Now, we do know Malcolm brogden will not be available for games one and two. So the two games played in Milwaukee Bucks will be without him. I mean Celtics will be without smart. They might be without him for the entire series. So your prediction for this one? Then you guys got it bucks in seven. I think. I can say whatever you want. Well, what do you do six for me while he thinks? Yeah. What are you gonna try? I'll go bucks and seven. Gimme Buckton seven. But at this. It's a split off vista games. Wow. Yeah. All right. Gimme south. Okay. I'm going Celtics. Wow. Can I can they win it? Yeah. I know. I mean, it's it's always tough to win a game seven on the road. Yes. It can happen. All right, Celtics and seven. Going to do it. To be a split after the first four games. All right, Celtics and seven everybody else. Taking the bucks. Let's hear your predictions for those two Eastern Conference semis. They should be great. Let us know hash day starters. I hate to kick a guy when he's down in man, it feels like he's at rock bottom right now. But I gotta know what is the ceiling of this. Okay. See team led by one Russell Westbrook since Katie turned cupcake Russ has failed to win a playoff series. Can't hit a shot to save his life and his while. He's still surly as hell showed the thunder. Look to trade him, Ken. They even trade them. Again. This is from Jamie getting down to Russell Westbrook and okay see going out in the first round for the third consecutive season. Trading him way. It's feels very John Wally at this point. I know it's Russell Westbrook is a better player right now than John wall because of the injuries but same sort of contract situation. A lot of money left at thirty year old. He tried to make it work. I think instead of trying to trade him who who would you trade it? I them at doesn't really. I mean the contract is impossible. And the guy is a. Oklahoma legend like trade who stayed you're going to trade the guy who stayed after. Kevin Durant left. You will you will have traded. James harden, come on watch, Katie go. And then. Yeah. Adult argument to me that anybody is even saying they should consider trading. Russell westbrook. They would definitely be worse. I yeah. I didn't even think of the legend part of it, which is one hundred percent true. But as far as being on the basketball floor, they'd be worse. Anyway, they just would. They're not close to winning a championship. Not definitely not. So if you're saying press, he's in a tough position right now because he's got a lot of money obviously taught out with him, Paul, George and Stephen Adams have tons. Yeah. And you still got a fan base. That loves you on the playoffs that but you get to the playoffs. And then it's like goodbye like that. So should they about Damian Lillard last year? Nobody will say unless trade Damian Lillard. Well, let's talk about breaking up that back. Nobody said trade Damian Lillard them, right? Yeah. But I have a little more fight in the problem with that. I'm just throwing out there play devil's advocate is Paul Georgia's the Damian Lillard in this case, and Russell Westbrook is maybe the CJ. I know. It's not. No, right. Right. Right. That's what I mean. You look at what Lillard did last year. The blazers had lost ten straight playoff games. They were a laughing stock after they got swept by the pelicans, David exactly Damian Lillard came back this season. Got better figured out. How to address the weaknesses in his game. And you know, we're all in love Damian Lillard again, I think Westbrook can do the same thing this season. He was more of a team player than since. Kevin Durant has left. He turned over a lot of the offense to. Paul george. He's still shot sixty five percent of the rim. Coming off a knee surgery. Hopefully, it doesn't have to have another knee surgery this year if he's able to have a healthy summer. Maybe he spends the entire slumber working on his jump shot, and he can shoot thirty three percent from three next year. That's what he said. He said in his exit interviews that I'm going to get better at shooting the ball. Do you believe him? I'm not I'm not certain I believe him because he's thirty and he did change though. And and that's what you have to Bank on. I don't really think that there's many more options though, he did deferred to Paul George. He wasn't. He was shot. Yeah. He wasn't the same MVP. Russell westbrook. That took every stinking, and he was different than the first instance with Paul George the first year saw flashes of the bad. Russell Westbrook in certain instances of the blazes will like go crazy, man shoot all you want. Yeah. Russell Westbrook will be much better off if he did some spotting up shooting and ran off the ball and cut and screened like great point guards are bound. To do but Dame the difference between him and Damian Lillard is Damian Lillard can shoot. And and now that was you know Dame was twenty seven last year. He got better roses thirty and you know, relies on athleticism far more, and it was just it was just odd to see a guy get to the rim because he slows that capability and just miss close in the place that serves. Yeah. And he wasn't. He wasn't comfortable taking shots. So it was it was killer on both sides. I guess the answer is get better shooting and to just be fresher in the postseason. Like, you know, if there's a way to somehow navigate a get another guy who can play make didn't convince him that convince russet, you don't have to touch the ball every single time. That's tough. I mean, I don't know if you can change him now. That's he looked like you said what he shot at the rim. He was he was good at the rim. Drove their best. Yeah. But what the heck happened in the postseason? I wasn't Anise. Kanter, it was just getting who's just getting older, and you know, maybe playing too many minutes. So you got to scale them back. I think is the only real answer. Yeah. There's a lot of questions to be answered. And it's one of them is can Westbrook change is he going to be the Alan Iverson of his generation where you know, he's playing his way until it doesn't work anymore. And then he's still playing his way until he's out of the league way earlier than he probably should exactly right. Or is he going to be Vince Carter, not to the extent where you become bench guy and your beloved because you do whatever your team needs. But you change your game. You change your game a little bit. So that you can your team is better. Yeah. Ken westbrook. Do that it remains to be seen? He gave Barry Trammell and answer at exit exit interview day. So you know, people can change. Yeah. I mean, there's this guy's log Vince is a good example. Like just got to this stage of his career was like, I'm no long. The style and right along with the volume shoot up, but I want to contribute and be apply. It still Russell Westbrook's a hell of more like Alan Iverson. I'm meeting going on a limb by saying that, but I think it's going to end in the same way as Ottesen where it's like. All right. This just isn't working it didn't work, and we haven't really gotten any flexibility. He had to do anything else. I mean, not only not only should he puts attention to try to obviously, add a three point shot and just shoot better. I think that's a no-brainer issued really start focusing on the defense vent. He doesn't he doesn't play defense. And he's usually half the time complaining about the foul calling. You're seeing that in eliminating game in the final couple of minutes. He did it twice. Yeah. He didn't get any did it in the series where his man, which is run down have an open, look, but you look at the last three playoff series as well against the rockets. Houston had homecourt advantage. Then loss against the jazz the thunderhead homecourt advantage one game. And then the second game they took that miracle comeback when though down twenty five in the third quarter, and they came back on and this year, even though they didn't have home court that would clearly the favorite in that series. And they win one guy. I mean, it's thunder started thirty seven and nineteen. They were the third things were going things were playing defense their identity. Offense was fine. It looks like the change of like giving bull Georgetown that offensive authority was working. And it's like, okay, this could work. But again, it didn't and the big concern as I say, it is Westbrook hasn't been close in the playoffs. Like, not even smelt like game seven hot break is all the Chris poll sort of you know, those mental breakdowns. It's like, man. Thank you. Katie. You're they they haven't even been remotely close. Then I think teams are saying if we get into Westbrook's head he'll beat himself. So let's do it. And you know, when you've got benched like back up back up back up and and cantor out there to a contract to him. You know, it's it's going to be so hard to persuade him. I think to give up the possessions of the bowl and give up the shots and and and to changes game because talking about being a spot up shooter. He has to improve dramatically over one summit to be ineffective. Pull up Joe spot up shooter. What is prestige you that? If we all agree. Okay. You're not trading Westbrook. That's a little crazy. I mean, what does he do? And he is limited with what he. Do you just try not shooters? It sounds like is everybody. I mean, it would help if they had some shooters out there. That's. It's just. City thunder for the past ten seasons. It'd be nice if they had shooters out there. They've tried Koran Butler. They've tried Corey brewer they've tried Derek Fisher. They tried Steve Novak they tried Dion waiters. They've been trying to get shooters forever. Doug, Nick nerve. It was there for a second Stephen Adams. I guess is the most tradeable guy he kind of gets you a lot of your identity as a tough guy inside. And he's probably the most likable guy on the team. That's a tough trade to ask. I don't know who else is really enticing to other people. It seems like only the thunder like a guy like Andre Roberson who you know comes in. They just keep drafting guys who are good at defense and can't shoot it off. Jeremy grant developed the jumper. Fergus herons Ferguson developed a little bit dumper dumper took a dumper in the playoffs. That's the problem. Getting a little more confidence. I don't know. It sounds like he needs Adinkra drinker and will press to move on from Billy Donovan or because you one thing presi does he's pretty like stability. I mean, he ran with Scott Brooks. A long time. And now he's been with Billy Donovan here for a good time. Even though they flamed out in the playoffs. But he just got that extension, right? Or the like they picked up the final on year on his contract. So he's under contract heading into next season for the final year. What do you do will they move on from people? They run it back it. Well, it's interesting because I think I believe I have the second highest payroll or ready for next season. And this is max out the next two. Yeah. This is not a franchise that we know in the past has locked to pay out money, which is ironic because of the whole James Haden's situation that sort of got them costs them James harden in the first place, but if they're paying him, and they go to pay another go I and they're already so far over the cap and paying, you know, enormous luxury taxes to the league, it's the Billy probably for that reason. Yeah, I think you might be right d'arno. Maybe I thought he'd put it. Well, he said there are more. There are far more cost efficient ways to be a perennial first round loser. And that's that's I mean, that's what they're at. They keep losing in the first round. You got the second highest payroll because you can get to that level. Without having the second highest. But then on a team that's like just happy to make a is expectations on this team. You know, and and that's the that's the big problem here. It's like because you can sometimes say, well, it's always in the playoffs or is in the hunt. You know, you don't want to be a fan base. Like the Knicks way. They'd just not even close, but the thunder disappointing now the last three seasons. It's not like. Oh, yeah. You think a Russell Westbrook? You still have two of the top what fifteen players early. Okay, twenty. If you want to go straight to that far. Like, you've got star talent. When you when you got Paul, George amazing. You kept them even more amazing. Yeah. You should be winning playoff series. And you and you are fine regular season team. You win a lot of games. But they have to do it in playoff series, and they exact same spot as Portland is coming into this year. We'd saw two straight seasons where Portland disappointed in the playoffs is their coach under fire. You've got a crazy high payroll. They got two great perimeter players. And they can't make it happen in the playoffs. The blazers were able to figure out a way to do it by having a great leader Damian Lillard who say get on my back. We got this west cast to do the same right? He's got to get a bit of that underdog mentality. Instead of thinking that he is the MVP that they can make the finals it is like Iverson making the finals in his fifth year, and then you know, kind of fading away, and then finding a resurgence with mellow for awhile and making the conference finals and then fading away. He's still got some time. You know, Russell Westbrook is still young. He's thirty years old. But the path is is pretty similar drafted for years later makes a finals gets an MVP. And then where are you going to go from here? Yeah. He's he's he's gotta get his guys involved in be fresh. In the postseason is I think what it comes down to our next question from ash. Hey, guys loved the show, but I must take bridge with your recent top five series clinching buzzer beaters list, we had this on the show this week. There's absolutely no way Lillard bomb should be ranked higher than Jordan's shot over Illo and the Cavs in eating nine if nj misses that jumper. The bulls lose the series right there. And then if Lillard MRs history, well, they go to overtime. Okay. They lose an overtime. Who cares? They'd have two more games to try and close out that series. Don't be a prisoner of the moment. Guys, you're better than that. Can that's from ash? Not Mark Texas. No that guys being dudes. Yeah. Having the Lillard shot above MJ's the shot over ill in the in the eighty nine calves, you're you're nodding away here. Shop for a reason to agree with shop reason, there's one is shot in NBA history. There have been how many shots in NBA history. Goldsman check your sprawl only one of them is called the shot. I don't know. It was a doer Di shot two seconds left. He gets the ball to dribbles. Boop. Boop. Hangs over Craig Hilo hits. It impossible jumper skeets. You're trying to tell me. This was an easy shot free throw. Because Michael Jordan hangs all the time. You wanna come on jump over curricula? No. I think that's the thing. When you include the stakes hundred percent ashes a great point. You had a great point. We were debating it. But Cohen the shot itself. Just the basketball shot you're going to hit trae the Michael Jordan jumper from the free throw line or your cash from the free throw. And what are you gonna hit? You're gonna hit sixty one hundred times how many times you can hit a step back to your right? Thirty seven football not often I wouldn't want. I would wager. I would wager that Damian Lillard shoots a better percentage on basically open step back jumpers from thirty seven feet them. Michael Jordan did with a guy in his face. Greg Hilo is playing better defense on this play. They would be the freeze on. Yeah. I would guess. You know, it's an easier shot for for Damian Lillard, even Paul George played bad defense. Wow. Well, you did say, you're absolutely right. I mean, there was a lot of trash talk. Then you try to tell me that the celebration was better that Damian Lillard had a better celebration the Michael Jordan when people have been doing the Michael Jordan deliberation for thirty years. I guarantee you've done the two dribbles. You jump your legs. Go out. All crazy. You hit the shot. Then you do a jump where your legs again, they go all out. Crazy. Nobody knows how to do the leg flare. All right. We're going to start the wave goodbye. You'll start seeing Lillard wave goodbye. Don't worry. We'll see it for five years. We see it for thirty Tice McConnell. Did the Michael Jordan one? Remember, and Joel Embiid did the split screen all of those. Yeah. Simpson should have been higher on this list. And that's shots. Even more. They lose their jobs in the air. And flicks it over his head. There's another game in. No idea. He just muscle these big button into Kareem. Good his position four throwing second round the clock incredible stuff. So really had six ever series-clinching Baugh? Guys, got to them and. He didn't. That's crazy. Legit. Awesome. Over the Jordan. Stop it to Jerry cats got him. And he says after he said, yeah, he played good defense. But show that one that was a sweep that was game. Bulls are up three. Oh, yeah. That's why that went doesn't get talked about as might right? Yeah. Yeah. They and the cows were awesome. That a good. Three cats task. What do you weigh in on? This guy's got you covered it all. Yeah. I give way to the. Well. I mean, we can't talk about this all day. I give a little more weight to later on in the postseason. Maybe John Stockton has got to be a little bit higher. Finals I jumped you'd needed five games to beat the Cavs Michael come on just one ten more games in the bowl. It is in Cleveland. Yeah. True. True. True man was Lillard the only one that was tied. I think. Jordan's tied the second one against the Cavs. Maybe we didn't. I believe they were in the ninety three. Yes. They were tightening the rockets down in the Lakers. I know I think that was tied as well. Yeah. I believe. Yeah. That's a great game by the Wheeler Lillard first time versus the rockets to fourteen they are down because it into. Down to ninety six ninety eight. I think it was. Yeah. Wow. Wow. It's MJ because it's m j. Sure, it Damian Lillard two thousand fourteen over Chandler Parsons, nobody talks about because it's stimulus his and have the same status. As Michael if game the littlest, Michael Jordan, then we'd be talking about that don't build though in in law. I mean, look if Lillard ever goes if he goes on to win a title if this is his Dirk. Right now or happens the next couple of years then. Yeah, these are going to be used. He's got two of them to the bonus question. Title. I know what should we call? This a bonus question from salmon LA, what should we call Dame's newest series ender? Blazers fans call the two thousand fourteen winter point nine so we had under screen, but what about this one ideas I've seen floating around the bad shot by by or by by shot the lesson. These are saying. The last word, I don't mind that one, but you need to know about the whole series. I really don't you asked where it cocktail lobby. It would just call them at thirty seven because it was thirty seven foot bomb, which is okay, not the wave people are saying I've seen the wave. He doesn't include that. So other ideas, what do you guys? Like, what about the wave is great? I think shot. Far shot, partial. Of those. I guess I like the last word, but I like the wave just because it's the most memorable part. I think it's the wave. Yeah. Yeah. I think it is too. And it just and like it is that little one of you said it like sort of its childlike, which is so good because Russ's doing the Raka around the baby to sleep type celebration. It's like. Dime is like I mean, hey knows he got it off. But sometimes I review those shots. Anyway. Underrated part. Yeah. Right. It is so perfect. Yeah. He was just like, no we we're not reviewing that. You'll go and see you later. Bye. Even probably two thousand fourteen point nine. I assume there must have been some. Yeah. They did. I think I did. Because I watched that the other day, and I think they said like they have to review it that makes sense. I mean, he did catch turn and fire it and just got it off. Yeah. About the long wave goodbye because then that gets in the depth of the shot as well. That sounds a little too long wave. You'll remember in two thousand nineteen four Damian. Wave goodbye. No. I'm saying that twenty Twenty-nine what's that in ten years from now? That's I'm saying that to you along wave. Damian. Lojze by twenty twenty one little wave emoji. Because that's what he's trying to sing a cappella. Oh, both full the longest wave. Nice one more. Underscore. I it was dream on green than it was Joe Ingles. Now, it's passed Calcio com. Who will be the next player NBA nerds fall in love with? I love. Jonathan Isaac of the Orlando. Good. What's a really good one? Because nerds want to look cool, and Jonathan Isaac looks cool. And that's part of. Negative. He plays on the magic probably thirtieth of the thirtieth teams in terms of popularity positive. He's the type of player people fall in love with like he doesn't try and do too much. He shoots them threes. He plays the big he guards everybody and his numbers will always look good and earn praise for that. But. Negative. I don't know how good he's gonna be. Okay. That's a good pick though. I actually he kind of plays into my thing. Which is the new thing for nerds will be not so much wingspan leg say, I've talked to talk to you. The span is huge nowadays. Jonathan I explained. Level yet. You might call it stride length. But you know, the ability to to do moves with your legs. Not just use your arms the block shots by like spin moves like, PASCAL Siaka. I'm great leg span for his spin move. He's in the land. You know, he's like goes from the free throw line to the rim itself. Dangerous Janas obviously leg span. That's how eurostepped goes from one side of the land of the other because he's got crazy like span. So look for the guys with leg span, certainly Jonathan Isaac is once yakim has one Janas who else has good legs span. Almost got good like span. But does he use it, right? There's an ESPN raiders been talking with that forever till? Ever been a writer? Tim like never. Tim later. He's a great, man. Great speaker. And that's what he does is never gonna send you an article by. So you're sort of trying to find a new leg span guy. What what should be doing is? Somehow measuring how guys can get to the rim. How fast guys can get to the rim. I mean if that becomes a common statistic. Somehow, I don't know how you would do it gets to the from the kids per drive or something nerds would love it. Yeah. Joking. Like, it's there's some truth to it. I really buy it. We all talk about how Yannis can get to the rim from wherever and watching the magic series. Like it did jumped out at me a couple of times Siachen as well. He's like, wow, that's stride is like he's he just covering ridiculous ground in sort of getting close enough to the rim to kiss it off the glass who do you have. Great Great Lakes span. Okay. I'm going with sabinas from Indiana. Because tough guy comes out there already like he's close to this already. Zone, indiana. So I I think that sort of gets him I've looked but just you know. I think I disagree with your Isaac being on the magic wants on them nerds this what nerds. Hey warriors. Hey, LeBron Laker now, they're like, let's talk about these other teams. We never talk about this. Great picks. These are great picks. Oh, I think I think you're gonna see a bit more about it. Because he's really started to mature this season coming off the bench had that big dunk on Joel. But he's just a solid reliable player. He's obviously got the great genes as well. From dead. He's going to have to win though for magic can't be thirtieth week, but they did make the playoffs and they are starting to look good. My the thing about Savona says he looks too much like my Goldfarb for me. Look like is. He does. Yeah. They got the same haircut. Yeah. Not exactly but yet nerd links. What do you think about this one? I don't know. Now, I wrote down I'm not so sure John Collins freight lifespan, Jon call these fan. He's already. He's just stupid numbers. But once that team does get good, and he's continued and he gets better. Even I don't know. I've got him in the mix in a second year. A big John Collins fan, we'll see if they can sign. Williamson Collins trae young you. So he sold me. All right. Good. That's a little complaint today. Can't we resolve this conflict without anger? I don't believe we did it last week. Now, we didn't I get some fresh complaints though. Maybe run through them quickly. We'll see where we go. But I managed to have another portly trainer. I got a new trainer, and I did not look at a picture of this person. In fact, this person was recommended to me, I think I've mentioned before he got injured when I was training for the marathon, and the physical therapist that was helping me rehab recommended that I get stronger not at all about stretching and mobility, it's about strength. So he sent me to this guy. And this guy is the kind of guy that when he's demonstrating exercises. He will talk in his t shirt. If you know what I'm saying because he doesn't want. He doesn't want you seeing. I wanna kinda trainer that's shirtless to be Frank. Like be wearing a tank top and intimidate me with your with your muscles. You would complain about that like, why don't you? Was like just. Yeah. He's like you'd be like come on. All right now, you're just showing off. Yeah. You try to make me. But I guess not you're saying I will say there's a guy. So this is a I don't step into too many, Jim like one of those. Loft. Prison gyms just like a warehouse. Oh, okay. Okay aware like a weight fell off a truck and bounced into a warehouse. Cross city field. Yeah. No, except they they would hate cross fit here. I think too many quick movements not enough focus on form. Okay. There is a guy. That's like they focus on. I don't know about that Tessie. I think you're form start slipping once you get into those high reps. It depends where you're Tim Legler's are. Yeah. How is this guy's likes fan? We need. Anyways, as we said the first time we discussed the poorly trained, you don't necessarily need your your barber to have a nice haircut. Right people. Don't don't seem to care about that. Right. And so I'm trying to not care. And I honestly I think he's actually doing a pretty good job. So I'm trying not to care. I'm trying not to have wandering is. I look at the other people that are training the other. No because it's hard to not think like the guy. The guy is in shape, and it's like aspirations like if he knows how to get himself in a shape at least he knows how to get one person to shape. I have no evidence that my guy knows how to get even himself into shape. You got to see some references. Maybe so self selfless that he's like I have no time in my own, buddy. Chisel all these other people's bodies. Yeah. I was like are you injured? No, why no reason anyways. What else do? Yeah. This week. I saw a guy with a giant knife at a bar. You know, a holster. So he's wearing a belt on that. It's a good question. Actually, I don't know if it was a belt, and then a knife holster on the belt, or it was a one piece or synthetic like a giant Bowie knife. You know what I'm talking about? Like like, something you could really handle something that wouldn't fit in your pocket and beyond the fact that I just don't like weaponry. Especially in a place where people are drinking the guy. I was sitting outside. This guy was sitting at the bar. He referenced his I overheard him referencing his knife in the four seconds. I was standing next to him. I walk into place in order at the cash. Register he's sitting maybe three stools over for me. I notice he has a very large knife. I surreptitiously take a picture of it. Yeah. Yeah. I'm not scared. I was very scared. And he says so the guy, oh, I didn't get a knife. Like he had ordered some foods. Like, I didn't get a knife. I could pull Mino, but I don't think people would like that. And I'm like if this guy found a way to meme to mention his knife in the four seconds. I was saying imagine how much he talks about his knife. Sure. He's doing crocodile Dundee bits all night. That's not a night. This is a nice. That's why you put a knife on a holster. He was pretty young. I don't think he'd seen crocodile. You don't think it's that classic? Honestly, do you think? Like a twenty one year old knows the reference that's not a knife. This is a knife. I'd say no, I would say no, I don't know let us know what the new millennial or jen's e knife. References. Didn't you just complain about taking photos of people without them knowing why didn't share this one? And I was complaining, but people that take pictures of people in bathrooms. No in general, you're complaining about. Yeah. I didn't actually even send this to anyone. Personal. Gotta remember this feeling bed. I do feeling bad. Okay. Okay. Also was given you know, how when you order at the cash they give you a number and you put the number in your table. Look look at that number. It was sixty nine I took that picture didn't do anything. Anyway, here's the picture with this guy. Look how big that knife is. Oh, that's that's big. It's a big night. So let's you'll pool cue. This is what your stories are for is it you should be posting stuff on Instagram. That's right point, chickens this knife. Yeah. Can't see his face anyway. And this one I might have. Mentioned before or have tell me if I've mentioned this before when a cab driver or Uber lift driver lowers your window. I mean. Yeah. Wow. Your window though. Not their windows, man. Get the one zero star. Don't give a review, but that doesn't it doesn't send a message. I don't think he gets one. That's yeah. You gotta get zero star. Upset what are you? Well, either he farted then you should. Thank you. I'd like to. Still saying can open your because you're leaning against the window. And then you're leaving maybe. This constantly in a sort of like a indie mumble court. You know movie where I'm contemplating. I think you will find. Roll up my window. I was. Sorry. I farted. Thank but more likely because of who I am. I think that he thinks I snake. Yeah. And then he's opened my window. So I just whether or not I do I don't want to think about it. You do look like a guy who just. Your face looks like in fact, you're just contemplating things with all scrunched up the guys like definitely guys thinking about far better window before he does. So did your body have to shift because it was so heavily leaning on the window. Well, I mean, it's not like I almost fell out. That's what I'm asking. It's was a joke. Open. Maybe. This guy guys. Maybe maybe you'd like that humor. Maybe it's like. Maybe it's like, you know, like when you come to look at our computer. Sometimes you're always touching her screen just wanted you office window. So he was like. You're pointing at the speed you like to actually touch screens. I don't notice that. I do that. But there is a guy that works on the show who has you know, one of those laptops that looks like a laptop, but the screen is a touch screen, and I'm and he does graphic. So I'm always like, oh, could you move this there? And the whole thing like supply off the screen, and it's it's a recruiter. We'd just goes, and he just goes pause. Pausing us, it's a touch screen. All right. So sh- mortgage for their of complaints. Yeah. Personal trainers little to Toby. No. I'm not really complaining. I'm just complaining that the cosmic world that I got another portly trainer. Okay. But he's good. He seems to be doing. I'm feeling better. Honestly, I don't know why I'm surprised it's the whole point of doing doing. But I'm like, I am feeling better. Good. Keep it. All right. You want to fire the pun knife for pun gun, here pun gun. All right, pumpkin. Dad? So a lot of people out there want to hear avengers comes. We're not doing that. Because he's done twice. We had definitely superheroes. And all that. Equal amount of people want us to kill the pun gun show. Let's hear your NBA killers fictional or non Damian Lillard exactly JJ Dedic, John Wayne Rudy gase who we're going to he said killers. All right. Oh, well, Freddie vanfleet Krueger. This is. Deep cut Rashawn h h Holmes? Devil in the white. So I can see why people want us to kill it. Rest kidding never. Well, they didn't set us for us up for success with that one. No, they didn't that's on you, actually. Oh. All right. If people have been asking to kill this. The week. Twit. Yeah. Yeah. Cody, Cody zella is country boy from Washington, Indiana. And he's giving us a little a little glimpse of life back. What? It is he's giving us a little bit of a glimpse into life back on the farm. Yeah. Okay. Excited about this. Okay. I'm finally home for the first time in two years. My dad greeted me and the kitchen this morning and said this fifty bags of mulch being delivered today. Delivered and the Lord needs to be moat. So great, right. Yeah. We didn't have any pizza places that delivered warehouse in the country. But my dad just had five ducks delivered welcome to Washington. And then he said the family video in Washington is still open and thriving. Did not even know there was a Washington in Indiana at to look for it. Where was it in the state? Here's to be a south west. There's a state of Indiana. So well, this Washington Washington state, and then Washington, Indiana, just probably another one out I've heard of this one Washington. I think it's PC. No DC, Washington DC. Sure, I think it is. Yeah. Grilled cheese. Don't like that. Do you think there's an an Indiana Washington? Probably. Yeah. Going to say, no, I'll look it up. All right. I'll look it up. I'm going to say no to. Well, you get you get Washington, Indiana. When you look. Okay. To be give us an open quote, Indiana, comma, Washington, those quote, wow, what there's a Washington, Indiana. But guess what else? There is new Washington, Indiana. Oh, no. For. Sure. All right. I don't think that if you can't find a by. Now, it doesn't appear to be one. No. I just think that Washington Dan is getting all the SEO. It's going to. Okay. Well, we're almost done here. But before we go some rapid fire. Damian Lillard was both mentally and definitely physically ready for his first round match up with Russell Westbrook after the series Lillard took exception to Russ doing the rock baby tante because as he told Yahoo's Kris Haines, quote, he was doing that on jump shots. That's not when you're supposed to rock the baby you rock the baby after overpowering someone in the post he had one layup in the post on me. Look it up wintertime arrival of yours did something you didn't feel was warranted. Skeets? Well, I went to Stratford central secondary high school there were two other high schools in strafford despite it being a pretty small little city. So they were rivals. There was northwestern the Saint Mike Saint Mike's and central had unbelievable basketball rivalry. But they would always get the better of us. We could never win in their Jim crazy crowd. But one one year we looked to be doing it. We were going to win. We were up. I believe one or two I can't remember off taught my head. We were gonna win this game. They had one chance they had to throw it basically do like a Christian Leitner to Grant Hill type of things throw it down shot. They threw it to Ryan Finch and hit like an insane fadeaway three and the place went blockers. And we lost the gen our biggest rivals. They always got the best of us in that. That's I picture it. So firstly it was unbelievable shot. That was that's what I was looking for some high school rivalries. Trae sorry to disappoint you tasks. I'm going to be speaking about a man named Darren rove L. I don't know if he's necessarily my rival, but he seems to kind of be the rival of the internet. First time I ever met him within two seconds. He asked me to touch my beard. Right. I said, yes. Still. Kinda weird would never met. He's asking to just touch. My my beer the touches face. Do you think it can be in a forty dash? Yeah. Yeah. I do could beat them. But I don't think it would be as convincing people. What did he run? He ran a four point zero four twenty. Like a four second twenty twenty s. Right. Right. Right. Actually, I think I could smash. When I think about that. So he's you're right. Jaydee late nineties. I was working at the Hard Rock Cafe at young. And then this in Toronto, and I was working the front section. So you walk into the restaurant. There's a front section and there's the hotline right next to it and the restaurant behind it's one in the morning. The bar is still open and Mike sections closed places empty, basically. And I start I'm cleaning up my section and a guy who had just been cut off at the bar comes storming pass me. I didn't see any hip checked me knocked me to the ground unwarranted that had nothing to do with it. But I thought he was drunk. He was drunk, but I bet he's sort of like staggered into by accident stumbled, but he really like checked me. So I got up furious and he's a head taller than me way. Heavier, but I'm furious. I'm just like look around, and there's nobody around these. I'm just like you. You gotta leave now, man. And he's about to come at me. And then he just started shrinks away, and he walks out the front door, and I'm like, wow. Isn't that asks? But then I turn around and three kitchen guys. Speaking of knives are behind me, they all have butcher knives in their hands. Outside. Philly guy for one second. Yeah. That was an unwarranted attack on me. That's actually a common attack in Toronto hip checks. Yeah. I love their hockey up there blue-collar attack. Lunch pail. Always into corners. On here. Driving home from practice Sunday. Donovan Mitchell saw car accident and got out of his car to help. He did end up calling nine one one. But everyone appeared to be okay. When's it time UNLV your way to perform a good deed? Skeets? I don't know if this is a good deed. But anytime when we're up in Toronto and we're out late, and we go for Chinese food. Whether there's four of us are twenty of us, a try and pick up the Chinese food tab. I don't know how this really started. Why I continue to do it. But that's my one good deed. And I feel like at that time of night. You don't want to be dealing with like who is this. Let's break this up. It's pretty cheap in general late night Chinese food. So who cares? That's my good deed. Anytime we got to answer trait. That was a good boyfriend to my wife when we were dating. She was an assistant coach for a freshman girls high school basketball team, which is pretty low rung on the coaching. You gotta start at the bottom to work your way up, but I would go to all her games until the time when I had to drive to sick. Through the snow and ended up driving my car off a cliff yelling. Go over the edge old old man's car. Went over the edge down the last time. I went to a freshman girls basketball. What we what how far off a cliff? Did you go? Well, you know. Like valley. Yeah. Driving through a country road, I smack into the back of this car. And then go over the side, and they can be. Yeah. I mean, I probably went down thirty feet. I would guess just going. Wow. Yeah. Yeah. It was lucky that the car didn't roll. The country, and he ruled that crazy. Yeah. That's scary. Sounds like that's that is nightmare fuel hunts. Exactly what that is JD. I was once walking my dog in the middle of the night in Toronto back lane way where there's just garages on his side. I noticed in one garage like here that there was a car running in their. So I'm like that's not good. So I went to the front of the house. This is like midnight knock on the door. All the lights are on no answer. So I go to the garage. I open the garage dead guy inside in his car he had killed himself. So I go into but I don't know if he's dead yet. So I go in there. I. Open the door. Luckily, it was opened by unlocked. I mean turned off the car he's he's dead. Anyway. So I call nine one one, blah, blah, blah. But then so the police come I give them a statement, blah, blah, blah, the next day. The the the this guy was older wife had recently died and his his kids like adult kids came knocking on my door. Looking to find out for answers, basic. It's just I did you find that. I was the guy that called it turned out to be my. Landlord upstairs told them. So it was very awkward. No, good, deed goes unpunished. I've never heard. Yeah. I keep that what he did. Earlier we could've worked into punt. And you do hate idling cars. I've got a thing about that. Last one. Trey nearly died. And then JD goes and finds it then. All right. The Phoenix Suns fired head coach eager Kokoschka of only eleven months after hiring him. They young and terrible sons did that it's old hat for them to prematurely. Let someone go. But still name a time. You weren't given a fair shake skis of of the story. I believe before. But my first marathon attempt I was ever going to try and run twenty six point two miles was in Gulf shores, Alabama, and it was fine. I was doing great through the first half. It was killing. It felt great and then around mile sixteen or seventeen we went down a stretch where we had been before. And it was a note and back part, and I thought well, that's strange. Why are we doing this again? And I was with a couple of other runners, and we were trying to sort of figure it out. Let's go on. I'm here. I don't know about this. Because there's nowhere that we can now branch off to keep going and sure enough if we found out that note, we weren't we were sent back down the wrong way. It was only supposed to be once. So it was an back which was adding another like two and a half miles to a marathon race, which I never even done before. And well, it went downhill from there, I stopped you never wanna stop, and, you know, at mile seventeen eighteen I completely blew up because I had run another two miles, and then sort of psychologically checked out. So I never finished that race. But yeah, not a fair shake say, but you got back on the marathon. But I did I did it was learning forever. That's did not stop me forever. But man that was a that was horrible. I ended up like like limping I walked walk limps like for three miles to get back to the story line. But I did not cross the finish line. You know? And I didn't take the what are they the metal refused to take the metal. In their face. Finish the race. I don't know if people do that. But you should you shouldn't be given in that's a stupid medal, anyways, who's the principal? Right. All right. All right. All right. Similar story. I worked at Abercrombie and Fitch, but they wouldn't let me stand outside with my shirt off. Portly sales associate big. Fat guy student or cargo shorts and flip flops. What's the problem? I only worked there for one shift of organizing hangers. Give me a huge to'real lot. How hangers have to face the way that does it look like a question Mark, just let me take my shirt off. So we like it. Yeah backwards. I really. Yeah. Since that day, I've been hanging. My clothes question, Mark. Yeah. True, g style. Like a question, Mark. Maybe they don't want you to be able to take the clothes hanger off the bar, whatever because it's a little harder to push pull. That's a good point to be clear, which is the question Mark way the way where it's so this is the question. Right. You would have to kind of hook it on. Yeah. If you got it the other way, a Steve if you will. Yeah. Yeah. So you're so when you're looking at the bar, you're seeing more of the bar in the depends which way you're looking at it doesn't it off if the bar is on the wall. No, you're seeing all all hanger. Oh, sorry. No, no, no. The way the way the way the way the way the Fisher. The features do it. Yeah. You're seeing you're not you're seeing. Are you? Kirby when you're doing this wreck, I wanna see. Put your shirt off. Apprentice sell stuff here. Weird thing. Do they still do that standing outside? We did it for a little Hollister do that. They did they were all related. I don't know the early two thousand s it was mostly you'd better that shirt off if you're an Abercrombie and Fitch come by our shirts, and then take them off man, and like the smell of those or do they still stink like that? It gives me such a headache works there. Not just think of o town when I think definitely JD once had a girl dumped me because I liked the red hot chili peppers. Yeah. Yeah. I mean. Dumped in two thousand nineteen for that. This is this is peak chili peppers. Let's say you're a grown adult man who. Twenty pictures the red hot chili peppers playing at the pyramid of Giza. I mean, that's understandable. If you eight red hot, chili peppers all the time. Not a fair, shake that's rapid fire. That's hopefully, another classic addition of the drop.
