"What's up. Guys is the talking to star podcast. I'm your host connor livesey job my co host tonight and miller coal patterson not with us. He is a under the weather. But me. y'all to be here tonight to talk some dallas cowboys football with you. I didn't make it last week. So daunting and coal Ran the ran the show. It talked about some linebackers. Think we're going to bounce over to the offense side of the ball to day. Talk about the offense align a little bit There's some newcomers that are going to be swing tackles of veteran tiny seki There's some rookies or some young players that we want to talk about as well tyler beyond assche As a guy wanted to kinda circle in on as well but before we get started dawn. How you doing. I think you mean by that is maya does odd but now what Why do you think that the owners of an general managers of the teams don't know the pronunciation of players names Will one of them almost eighty years old that understand the other one I don't know man. I don't ask questions about stephen. I'm imagine all the scouts. Romay drafted tyler beyond assche being. Guess kid like you know physical nasty you know had some injuries up and down here and then stephen here's all that and then as soon as it's over by says and you know the scouts are just like we just said beyond twenty five times like you know that happens right like you know they're looking at each other like you know he knows the guy's name but he's just not going to say it right but That's this football team. We're gonna get it. Like i said talked about some office alive and there was a tweet. I read earlier Can't remember who was from so if you listen let me know but It was talking about how there's so much positively coming out of rookie minicamp you know many camps. Ota's and i wanna like we're going to buy into the positively or re still hesitant to buy into the secondary supposedly taken some steps. We're gonna get into that as well but we do. Let's talk about his offense the line You know there's some injuries still Term smith aren't totally practicing in full. So think today which recorded this tuesday was the open portion of the cowboys mandatory minicamp first day of that in tiny thing. That's you pronounce. It right is that right Believe it's dissect okay. So so longtime veteran played with washington. He's bounced around a lot guy that know myself. I have followed. I know john owning for the front of the show. His been a big proponent of over the years to get him into dallas He apparently injured himself today. trying to block michael persons off the edge which is interesting but kind of before we start zoning in on certain players what your thoughts on the offense align going into twenty twenty one. Are you optimistic or pessimistic. Are you excited like. Where are you at with his offense align situation. I think that they're gonna be a pretty good group if they're healthy. That's kind of been the issue is. We haven't been able to keep these guys healthy. I think when you're looking at you know tyrant at left tackle. We talk a lot about connor williams but he's not that bad Good football player. he's not. I would even say he's all right player. Replacement level starter tyler. I see now. I screwed up. I say i say by it. As now i want to actually say by as you said it right now. You should be on jr be honest. I but it's still screwed me up. Man i still had to think about it A good name to have their center especially for the upside. you know. See what he was able to do it wisconsin. When he was healthy. I think having condom mcgovern in the back of it. We don't really know all that much about i think is good depth. I would like to see him. Play a little bit i. I hope that it's not for zack. Martin but you know they have him as the backup center. I think that he might be somebody who could compete for a guard spot. behind connor williams. I also think it's funny. They have mitch hyatt on the roster and they have them as a guard. so that's interesting Remember was it like no. No no this is not going to get in. We're not even gonna get into tie all little. What did he win. Didn't you win some big word and people were just like. Yeah he was he was All american yeah. All american all american clumps clemson people thought. That guy was common for tired. Smith's joe wasn't he was he michigan. He clemson he was clemson wasn't he. Yeah yeah yeah. that's right. Clemson brian burns. Yeah that's oh yeah. Yeah yeah all right anyways Did you have zack martin. At right guard. Who i still think is the best offensive lineman in the national football league when he's healthy and healthy lyle collins tyrants better than you have lyle college back healthy to start the season i think this is one of the top five offensive lines in the nfl if they're healthy And then i. I actually liked the depth that they have. There's as well. I think that brandon knight i think the tarrant steel neither or bad one of them are starting and the seek. He's been around for a really long time can be that you know swing tackle that we need. What are your thoughts you know. We we draft economy recovering but it was two years ago now in the third round a lot of people expected him to maybe takeovers that starting center when it drafted him out of penn. State with travis. Frederick no future up in the air we've seen a little bit of mcgovern over the few years that he's played because of injuries because of he was injured some and then he played last year because of injuries. Where are you at with connor mcgovern. You think he has a chance to maybe..

government from implementing a lockdown because of concerns about the effect on the poorest people BBC news thank you for the latest news update hello welcome great to have your company you are listening to Newsday from the BBC world service launch pilots in these days studio and meet it's all coming to you from my home on the south coast of England in the next half hour we'll head to Uganda to Kenya and to South Africa as well Matthew Kenyon has sports news news that FIFA's medical chief is warning of a return of all isn't mourning about return to football anytime soon another medic talks to us as well on the program the oldest daughter in France we spoke to recently he was ninety nine I think he's just having a hundred now you may be from pasta and landmark birthday if you would like to comment on any of the stories you hear heroin use they we love your comments you can go to BBC world service on Facebook leave comments that and you can also send us a message on text or what's app and this is the number that you will need it is plus full full seventy seven eighty six twenty fifty eighty five the mobile wondering what happened to all the revolutions many countries in the Middle East and North Africa with facing popular demonstrations against authoritarian governments before the virus pandemic hits and rather clear the streets more effectively than any police forces were able to Lebanon let's talk about Lebanon so months of demonstrations about his financial crisis and the political responsibility for it as well but in Lebanon interestingly the virus hasn't cleared the streets demonstrators in the northern city of Tripoli well out one demonstrator was actually left dead by a night of rioting as well and Kerry Mitch Hyatt joins us now reporter for the public schools self described as an independent news source and he joins us now Kareem first off just tell us the events before we talk about the courses what actually went on in Tripoli good morning yes so there has been a series of protests taking place in several towns around Lebanon over the past week including Tripoli this is particularly related to the worsening economic crisis in Lebanon we have been going through one of the worst fiscal crisis in our history if not the worst and as a result of the lockdown block government compensation and eighty valuation currency which is now the value by over fifty percent over the past several months people have gone out to right and but that's on full the complex covers often death of a protester twenty six year old was shocked the military use live animal and there was about forty injuries on both sides what was remarkable is that we've seen I mean I mentioned in the introduction the extraordinary street protests across North Africa and the Arab world and some of them have been cleared by the presence of the virus now why hasn't that happened in Lebanon is this a case of people ready feeling they have nothing left to lose the truly exactly so in the beginning when there are some protests taking place people calling for work to resume because of the economic crisis a lot of people would tell the media it's one thing to dive in of the pandemic which killed hundreds of thousands around the world but it's another thing to die because I could not supply adequate food or their need medicine for my family and I think at that point you know people have you know how I felt a sense that everything to gain and nothing to luge I mean this is remarkable because there are so many people who are left in a kind of you know feel abandoned by their respective governments because of low government capacity or whatever right round the world but this is the first example the way talking about the people driven to desperation I'm taking the governmental not presumably this is because the sorts of programs that governments have tried to keep populations on board with what's happening in Lebanon has the government able to offer following support for for people's jobs food baskets that kind of thing so yeah that that's where the problem is you know unemployment and people on the poverty line are both around fifty percent and it's already been skyrocketing before the nineteen outbreak and now it's getting worse the government has not provided any significant social welfare programs the military has been shifting some aid political parties through their pictures networks have provided fuel as well aid but the government has struggled to manage even a simple one time one hundred dollar payments to about forty thousand families they have been able to pull that off because lebron is going through its worst economic crisis it is the third most indebted country in the world and I just defaulted on its loans in March and husband desperate for aid there has been a they came in from UNICEF and the French but it's probably not enough right now right listen pretty vivid picture until it remarkable that we're talking about that that level of rising is that Karim was telling us actually one person shot dead by the security forces as well as in the northern city of Tripoli worrying times indeed Kareem's high up of the public the source independent news source in Lebanon you say BBC world service let's turn to a project in Uganda now that is harnessing solar power to treat children with pneumonia which went on the line now by Dr Robert a polka from the department of pediatrics and child health college of health sciences my favorite university welcome to Newsday it's good to have you on the program we're gonna talk about how this could possibly might be a technique that could also help in the treatment of coveted nineteen but tell us how it works how you harness solar power to treat children with pneumonia so what they're doing are integral parts of your car and now we are installing powerwall solar panels on Tuesday a hacker got into the war and then we have gone by things that aren't used to power like to act Popovich victory thank you folks again two children holding court in the morning oxygen therapy is truly something you need to treat patients of coverage nineteen as well I mean what a breakthrough because you know electricity supplies can be hit and miss but clearly in rural areas almost nonexistent as well I mean you hoping this will help roll out to rural areas as well or in rural areas electricity supplies plus there were liable usually kind in their case against the alcohol and so too can the whole house more here I know it's a very popcorn popping in the in the in in our in our you know sticking up in the morning yeah I hope to be able to fight to that yeah hospitals or not yes yes get the get the making I thought these people projected to get treatment right at the source just just didn't Disney mania taking the lives of many children in Uganda she's leading cause of death looks to be a new band that we estimate that about one hundred forty five should send back I know I know for the one year in your current backs let let let let it go the one in and that is the stuff that stop stop stop becoming a development but I still B. C. B. C. news this budget cut potentially to spend their lives this is something statistic now under the project's been running since may last year how many cases of of anybody have you treated over the last eleven twelve months of cricket seven hundred eight hundred and seventy two cases open tomorrow yeah I mean I'm as I mentioned we know that this is a technique obviously people who suffer from because if if they get seriously ill with it will need oxygen treatment are you hoping that this could also be used on those kind of patients to somewhere down the line because I know.

"The box in figure out, you know, how to work with someone who's different. Yeah. I mean, they eliminate the fullback they eliminate the tight end blocking. Now, they eliminate all this stuff. And then they want these pocket pass quarterbacks to sit back there and get their head smashed. We'll make up you mind guys would be a want. Do you want a guy who's athletic who could throw the ball on the run who can make played in and out of pocket or do you want? Some guy is going to sit in the pocket, then you'd better get a fullback and tight end. I can block and you better stop this nonsense with thinking right tackles are going to be as good as left tackles because it's not gonna happen. Yep. Of lying talent. That's coming out is not there and as been there for the last three or four years. So let's talk a little bit about the offensive line on obviously, you know, the giants also need some work and some help on the on the defensive side as well. You know, you you said that you don't really think the offensive line talent is there. But if if the giants want help on the offensive line say, you know, within the first couple of rounds are there players that you think you know, that that you would target who might be able to step in fairly quickly for the giants, particularly on it right side. Yes. That definitely is. I mean, the the Cody Ford kit, I wouldn't do work on him just today. Oklahoma, and he's what I consider pure left. I'm sorry, pure, right. Tackle you're not gonna move him. He's not going anyplace. He's not a guard. He's not going to left side. He's not he's not anything. But a pure, right. And he's a good one. He's got a lot of pride in he lacks lateral agility that you like to see for left tackle these little bit stiff he's kind of very similar to your left tackle that you have right now. And we may not be quite as athletic, but kind of in the same vein. Okay. And he can help somebody right away Jono Jona Williams. Most people are going to say they wanna move them inside. I think you know, he's like Joe Thomas was coming out for the Browns. I mean, he's just such a technician that he could help somebody right away on the left of the right side or inside. Andre Dillard is a little bit of a offense of left tackle that probably got a little bit of work to do. But he's got some great talent. And he's got good mental toughness. Greg little I'm not so wild on most those people are wild. I think he's very sloppy. When I see somebody who's played as much as he has sloppy with his techniques. It makes me think that the work ethic. Just isn't there where it's supposed to be now someone said to me he would he went to class in any graduated for years, then I'm kind of leaned back off of that and say, okay, you know, let's let's give let's give him some some rest there. But you know, from what I understand from what I've done, you know, Greg little little sloppy. And I'm not so wild about the rise rise ner. I think we'll help it right tackle hill. But God, I think his biggest thing is he'll be big time center for somebody and he'll have health right away. And then there's the rest of them that a most of them are going to be developmental but fairly decent. Michael Dida is another guy played all three positions Senegal and left tackle his strength is lacking big big time. And he's not great in the run game. Though. It's apprising comes on Wisconsin. They say that. And there's some others. I haven't done work yet on condom. Goven Mitch Hyatt. You know, the the big big strong powerful guards. Bo bench way, go and and Ross pure snag. However, you as Pierce shack even say last name, not go there. Yeah. Those guys are not great with their feet, but in certain types of offense of systems the play action vertical system like the giants should be playing instead of trying to force manning into west coast offense that he does not fit in very well in those types of offenses, those guys are very very powerful..

"One thing that keeps sticking out to me is how these teams over the recent years Ohio State in the secondary Clemson upfront Bama front some of these teams that just have super loaded where they're gonna lose seventy guys to the draft invariably. It seems like a guy further down the roster turns into a really good player. You know, whether it's an atom Humphries just that type. And I'm wondering having watched Clemson and Bama who stood out that is gonna get drafted probably not in the first round is still going to be a really good player that may just some of these guys that get further down these rousers that we're not talking about. I wouldn't be shocked if Albert Huggins wound up making an impact I mean, he's impressive from Clemson. You got four guys that are going to be drafted three potentially in the first round with Christian Wilkins Cleveland Foral index or Lawrence then yet Austin Bryant the other starting defensive end who's probably gonna be amid round pick and then Albert Huggins. When Dexter lords is out because spend in the two playoff games comes in. And does a really good job. He's been a great backup the last couple of years for Clemson. And I think he's a day three pick and a player that nobody really knows outside of you know, huggy bear is the nickname. But as a guy who's never really started at Clemson. I think he's gonna wind up getting drafted and could wind up, you know, making a roster and contributed in the NFL couple of guys real quick Mitch Hyatt the left tackle for Clemson four year starter Todd does he end up at guard. Right tackle, obviously, it left tackle the athletic quick is. But you give them trouble. But it is an inside guy can be a factor there and rent. Throw the third down star made a lot of big catches threat is career Humphries making it with Tampa Bay certainly hunter Renfro could. And for Alabama is say a is this the guy to have when your football team was banged up late in the year. But I think he showed this year that you could get it done at a fairly high level nine sacks. Yeah. It was all said and done. Yeah. You Costa ten sacks gesture that he was very much under the radar. You know, guys, I'll give you an example of how this played out this last year. But the Sean hand who is this kind of, you know, obviously, a big time recruited Alabama. But kind of just one of the rotational player did he run hot and cold? There's questions there. But you know, it's funny dish on hand was like a breakthrough player for the Detroit Lions this season. Arguably maybe the best player on that defense for stretches of the season became on hand came on the Dr show last year prior to the guy going he came on eight early April, and he had a chip he felt like, hey, it's a scheme. We'll talk about my numbers. He was highly motivated to prove the doubters and the skeptics wrong that hey United put me in the first and second round, I should be. He just had an attitude about him. And it was it was not just being cocky and arrogant was really real that. You could sense it. Hey, hand was highly motivated to really come in and make a splash. And that was that turned out to be one wheel of a pick. Yeah. It's just amazing. Some of these these teams, I mean, if you think about it if you couldn't necessarily break the rotation at Clemson, it's not a big shot you on the defensive line. I mean, you could have been on another team in just absolutely broken through. And then from the scouting standpoint. There's maybe a few a few less miles on that. Oh, dominator anyway, bro. Alabama had twenty two players drafted the last two years. Eight of them in the first round. I've got twelve more guys this year. Now, I've got to go back and look because a couple of gray. Davis has already said he's going back to school. But when the official list comes out, but before the national championship game in terms of eligible process. Spects? I had another twelve guys with draftable grades on it. I mean, it's just amazing. You talk about that would be thirty four in a three year span now, and it's it it just keeps happening over and over..

"Ideally for buffalo, Jona Williams. We'll be the pick. But I can't put them all the way at nine again. Marshawn Gary from Michigan. Kyle Williams retiring keep improving at defense, which is excellent Josh Allen and the games he started and finished issue. It was five and five with at buffalo. Bill team. We've got off the did some nice things upset the Vikings early. Then dominated the dolphins in the final game. So darnold, Josh Allen. Both look like it's going to be a heck of a rivalry and that AFC east moving forward. So I think offense is going to be heavy in this draft. But you gotta just take the bus. Supplier. You can't force it at night at the best players defensive lineman. You gotta take them. Hey, Thanh, Chris Brown and Bristol. Here wants to know, you know, you got to you got to do film room for the for Clemson. And I know you've seen them in person early in the season. "Really well tonight hit eight different guys in the football game. And now this is an Alabama defense that has not been able to get to him. And you gotta really credit this offense of line for protecting their quarterback. They haven't run the ball real well, but they've protected their quarterback. Then the play clock down to five as they snap at seeing seeing outside. Travis turns on the jets jetskis across midfield farside line that runs out of bounds. What he was about to get tackled by Dylan, Moses. If that left ankle hurt of it didn't hurt for very long. He's one of the fastest running backs of the country that was on display on that thirty nine yard run around the left end. And this is a tired looking Alabama defense right now. Travis ATM fresh day. He only averaged thirteen carries a game all season. Saw the same thing when he busted along when against Notre Dame last week late in that ballgame that showed you little flash the speed of Dylan Moses too because he had a good angle on Travis ATM. I down Clemson leading forty four to sixteen inching closer to the national title, six twenty to go out of the gun a gun run straight ahead run for TV in eastern. He's inside the forty and down at the thirty nine yard line. So Davos way, the former walk on wide receiver at Alabama assistant coach, gene stallings and Mike Dubose at Alabama. About to win his second national championship. That means he and Nick Sabin will be the only act of coaches with multiple national titles with the retirement of urban Meyer. Great love for Alabama Birmingham. Native dabble, sweetie. But. He has established himself as a legend now at Clemson in with a long way to go and his career. He's forty nine years old second and six pass to the near side the right for more the completion of TJ chase. Josh job the tackle in space near the new their side numbers. But the clock is the issue now five twenty three and running fourth quarter and leading forty four to sixteen. Here's the thing. I really liked it. Trevor Lawrence is doing right now they're believing clock, but they're not bleeding it standing in the line of scrimmage. He's keeping them in a modified huddle to the very last minute. So when they break the huddle, they go to the line of scrimmage and are able to snap and run the play in rhythm really smart by quarterback to do that rather than wait at the line of scrimmage of sleep the clock. This is the staff that recruits as well as anybody, but they can really coach the football part of it as well. Third down and six it's a shotgun. Run for Lawrence. Nettie powers for the first down wrapped up about two yard side of the line. He just kept turning his legs forward. Then took Shaheem Carter the safety for a ride and a first down at the thirty one yard line of Alabama with four thirty five to go. Talk about the many connections between these two programs the top three winningest head coaches in Clemson football history are all Alabama grad. Frank Howard, the legend one sixty five year. The great connection a bear Bryant Davos about Linda's one hundred sixteenth daddy Ford, number three at a national championship winning folks that sum the first bag in nineteen Eighty-one Adam choice runs off the left side for two four minutes to go until they'll celebrate another national championship in the upstate of South Carolina. Right now JC chalk on the field. The. Grandson, a gene stallings, and we'll slated son another backup wide receiver in the holder on their PAT field goals. He's in a wide receiver. Lawrence gained bleeding the play clock. It's down to five three and a half left of the game design quarterback run to the wet runs over his lead. Blocker to get a first down wall might be out at the end. There's a big pile or maybe just Lawrence continue to go. I'm going to question that play calling. You've won the national championship. This game is over this guy is the franchise quarterback where that I the of your title next year. I don't think. Getting him seriously hurt this situation of the starting offense of lime and cutting off the field now to hugs on the near sideline. How good is that have made you bring a guys out of a basketball game to the crowd cheered for your off. It's of line who has really played. Well, if protecting your quarterback, they get a standing ovation coming off the field Mitch Hyatt lane. His last game is fifty seventh career start tonight. All american. That's more starts than any position the constant history. Justin faucet alley. The centers. Come out. Celebration continues timeout called. Tony Elliott offensive coordinator told us before the Cotton Bowl in Dallas in a semifinal when Clemson really took the step to being a team that could challenge to win the national championship every year. It was when their offensive line now moved to that caliber for a long time the bed a lot of talent on defense. A lot of skill players on offense, but the offensive line was the dominant. Now, it can be why really felt it again. This is the fourth year in a row has been in the playoffs. And as I watched them this year. This is the best offensive line that they had everybody knew about their defensive line, and maybe working against that defensive line day in and day out does that, but it's the most physical group up front that they've had in the playoff era. Let's check in with Holly. Rowe during this time out with two forty five to go and Clemson leading forty four to sixteen Holly. Well, guys when you talk to Dabo Sweeney. He told us for a long time that this was the best team he's ever had. But it also had the best leadership twenty six seniors every single one of those seniors got to vote for captain before the season started. This has been great leadership in moments where they felt the season could slip away after the transfer of Kelly. Bryant was the senior leadership that stepped up and kept this team on course. And now to see those seniors celebrating down here in this moment. All twenty-six guys have had such an impact on this. Clemson team, Dabo Sweeney said it best we just love each other. He had a team meeting yesterday with all these seniors because he just wanted to love up on him. One more time before they went out in this game. And with this win. The Clemson senior class will have fifty five wins that will match this Alabama senior class, and they will tie for the most wins by a class division one football history with fifty five apiece and two national championships. The piece we talked about has Clemson closed the gap with Alabama. Yes, they have they are dead. Even now it's fishery closed and with the way they recruiting. They're both going to be around a while. Holly mentioned a lot of seniors. But a lot of top talent right behind them. I think I think right now in college football you've got four teams that are to me. The way they're built the way there can recruit the way they're infrastructure is our support staff facilities. I think there's four teams that are at elite level these two, of course, gorge in Ohio State or teams that are very very similar, and none of those four teams are going anywhere quickly, and they are going to be competing for championships for many years to come. Now chase Bryce comes into the game out of the timeout for Clemson. He will be remembered as one of the heroes of the season. Even though he was the third string quarterback at the start of the year. Was he comes on the field? Christian Wilkins the team leader defensive lineman sobbing on the Clemson sideline with tears of joy chase Bryce rescued them. Lawrence got hurt in that game against Syracuse game. Five of the year. Throw them down the field at the end of the game completed a pass on fourth down and six other three minutes to go when they had to have the finish the drive with a touchdown beat Syracuse by four without that. They're probably not here on his first play tonight's game. He hands off to Adam choice straight ahead of the fourteen yard line. Davos lady at a big embrace with Christian Wilkins. This. Final leaders. You could have in a program, Drake. Student graduated in two and a half years. One the Campbell trophy for the top student athlete in college football. Very cool to see those guys at all chose to come back because they loved Clemson. They love the culture they all made their decisions individually. Second down and six shotgun snap. The Bracy hands. It off to Adam choice playing his last game. Graduate student of Thomas Ville, Georgia Shaheen Carter made the tackle gain of a couple under two minutes to go. One fifty in the clock running Clemson has dominated this national championship game and leads forty four to sixteen with Bryce down the quarterback. He's a freshmen redshirt out of Grayson, Georgia. The hugs continue on the Clemson sideline. A big hug with Trevor Lawrence Christian Wilkins, the week Lawrence became the starter. Wilkins took the breakfast on Thursday said relax. We have you as a team. Don't put the way to the world on your shoulders. Even though you're stepping in on undefeated team at national championship aspiration, which will be realized Bryce a play fake on the inside hand up keep to run around right end got wrestled down by Anthony Jennings who still in their loss on the play back near the twelve and the clock will run under one minutes ago. It's at one minute right now standing between Clemson to the national title with the Tigers looking at fourth down and five at the Alabama twelve. The largest loss rally Nick Sabin. Prior tonight was fourteen points that happened three times last in the two thousand fourteen Sugar Bowl. Davos, ladies wife, Kathleen down on the sideline with a hug before. Her husband fourth-down. Handoff datum choice city picks up the first down up the middle on four th and five against seven. And they will not have to snap. It again. Davos gets the Gatorade bath on air sideline. Clemson will win its third national championship in college football the clocks twenty but they are swarming. The field. Many running to their section of fans to the left one of the great fan bases in college football, Dabo Sweeney and Nick Sabin good. Friends shaking hands. Seemed the kind word for next Sabin for Daboh is he patted him on his left shoulder next right hand. But Tigers everywhere and the clock is run out. Now, Clemson beats Alabama forty four to sixteen. They've each won two national championships in the five year history of the college football playoff after Oklahoma. Excuse me, Ohio State won the first. The clamps in the first team in major college football to finish fifteen at all since Penn in eighteen ninety seven. Damian Harris of Alabama over one day on the bench with two Tunga. He's fighting off. Here's here's Holly, Rome. Christian. Clock wound down. I thought you would be exuberant and jumping and joyful. Like you normally are tears streaming down your face. How do you describe this feeling of what you've accomplished? Describe this this really special we set out to do this at the beginning of the year. I mean, you can't you can't you can't script is is is is really special. Everybody on the team everything. Everyone's sacrifice oughta work we put up for four years. And then it really paid off. This is really special. I can't they family all my brothers enough, man. This is really special. We really did it. We the best ever fifty two. No, it ain't nobody taking that from not only you're the best ever this year. But this senior class the.

"Reference here without hamstring injury. He will be on a basically a pitch count tonight. Ten to fifteen snaps is what they're expecting. But mere senior cabinet as far as below with that ankle he's wearing a compression sleeve on his lower left leg over to Clemson now with Holly. Rowe holly. Well, earlier tonight when Clemson was warming up they were wearing warmup shirts be legendary. They have come out at the time Lau in their uniforms, and they are so excited every game. We've done this year. This is our fourth Clemson game. They have had their defensive tackle come out first and lead the charge. But tonight, it was the left tackle Mitch Hyatt. I feel like that's a good because this offensive line for Clemson has to be upfront. Be ready and be able to withstand the pressure of Alabama's great defensive front. Mitch Hiatt setting the tone early heat led the Clemson tires outta the locker room. Alabama has just won the toss. Crimson tide defers. So Clemson will receive the football. As they meet in the college football playoff for the fourth year in a row from the third time. Title first time in the history of the college football playoff two undefeated teams in the winter will be the first fifteen an old team in major college football since Penn in eighteen ninety seven whether is good after some rainy day. Phil looks terrific life questions about the grass field. No problems there and even down on the field watching warm ups. No problem with footing guys moving very cleanly should be a fast track, which is good for both teams. Sixty one degrees at kickoff. Very little breeze. Matter of fact, the flags on the top of the stadium Levi stadium the home of the forty Niners barely moving. We are positioned. If you're watching on TV the same side is the play by play cameras on television about the thirty yard line camera left. So most of the field is to our rights and the teams huddled around their head coaches and special teams coaches getting ready to begin this national championship game you played in one. What's it? Like right now. I'll tell you what there's a lot of anxiety that the atmosphere the energy the electricity you feel at all right now. But as soon as that ball is kick and as soon as Trevor Lawrence takes his first snap and runs his first play that kind of all goes away, and you focus in teams taking the field now. Alabama to kickoff. Joseph full of us will kick off from our left to our rights. He has the ball just inside the far hash Mark the left and backed deepest for Clemson at his own four yard line is dairy on Kendrick not a big leg for boulevard. This season only forty four touch backs in one hundred sixteen checkoffs remember Kendrick had a little mishap put the ball on the ground in the semi final game against Notre Dame. All of his left arm signals. He's ready to go and approaches the ball, and we are underway to the far side and a fair catch made by the numbers at the three yard line, by Kendrick. So Clemson content to start at the twenty five yard line led by Trevor Lawrence, the true freshman from Carter's Bill, Georgia six six two hundred fifteen pounds. And if there is something that he cannot do we haven't seen it, very poised has tremendous aren't talent. I'd be interested to see what Daboh chooses to do. I think they want to get him off to a fast. Start some easy. Quick throws to start the football game. Get him in a garden. A pistol travesty on the running back slightly behind Lawrence through his right to receivers to weakside and tight. Till the offensive lineman direct snap Lawrence straight back. Tried to throw the flat, and it's batted down by an Bernie Jennings. They are trying to start with a simple swing pass to the right and Jennings. A linebacker behind the line of scrimmage knocked it out of the air. That's one where you wish your tackle. What kind of get those arms down? He's got put his helmet in the midsection. There will go quickly back to the line of scrimmage. Balmy left hash marks second down and ten. DT n now slightly behind Lawrence to his left to receivers to each side. It's a toss. Table laughed and out of bounds. After a three yard gain. Mac Wilson will linebacker with the help. From Xavier McKinney is safety. Look like Lawrence for a moment might run and then the old fashioned. Aw. Trying to get the ball the perimeter make these defensive linemen run a little bit. I third down situation. Looks like dime. Coverage sixty bags for Alabama on third down and seven twenty seconds in first possession of the game Clemson from its own twenty eight yard line again to receivers to decide one right behind. The other direct snap out of the gun. Lawrence. Throws a little too hot to handle four hundred Renfro the fastball seemed to catch Renfro off guard along the near sideline covered by the freshman. Patrick ser tan, it's a three and out for the Clemson offense. That's a confidence boost for Patrick ser tan. They really picked on him Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl. Went after him ten times. First time they go after him tonight. He makes a nice play. Putting situation if each team is a little shaky it might be in special teams. Jalen Waddell, back for Alabama standing at his own thirty will spires. The potty average is thirty nine and a half per punt both teams like trick plays and special teams. And they're well aware that. Snap and a good bit by spires and backpedaling Twenty-one the precedent wattle. Excellent kick by fires. The son of the former major league baseball player. Bill. Spiers fifty one yard putt. So Alabama's first offensive possession at a scoreless game. But just forty seconds gone by begins from their own twenty one yard line led by a tunnel. Vilo a true sophomore fourteen at all is the starting quarterback all of those this season as he took over Jalen hurts after Congo Bilo came into the second half, and let them from behind to beat Georgia and all the time, but the national title left-hander starts out of the gun Damian Harris the running back a fake the Harrison complete up the near sideline and out of bounds. At the twenty eight yard line is Irv Smith. Excellent receiving tight end. They'll market of a twenty nine that's forty one catches for urge Smith. Now. This is a research. Leaving core that has five guys with over thirty six catches earth. Smith one of those five to go with a talented wide receiver. I right hash. Mark the near has markers. They go left to right again the gun tunnel. Vilo Damian Harris his left now three receivers wide to the left and one tight to the right? This has direct snap. Quick throw against pressure on target for a first down on your sideline tastes Beth pot. The national championship winning touchdown pass it over time last year out of bounds. Their side of the forty one gain of twelve and a first down KENDALL Joseph.
