"Would you really know about the bachelor? 7. Thank you. Well, I'll tell you what bob Lee. Once again, thanks for helping me out. I'll tell you what, I'm going to add your score up real quick here. Let's see, 21. 20 7 32 42 47. Just give me a second here, 53, 60, 67. Oh, you and your partner have a highly expansive relationship firecracker, you gain in a lot of new experiences and reaching new goals as a result. Yeah. Somebody's hotter than a gas station, hot dog. There you go. There you go. Now you can feel good about yourself. I feel good about who I married. Straight ahead in the next portion of our show, we'll point out some things bob's doing incorrectly just to balance it out. So we don't send him home feeling too good. Bob and sherry want to congratulate Los seida Archuleta and her husband. You are going to be going to beautiful Daytona shores. Thank you so much. I'm actually really strong. Sherry will be officiating the renewal of this couple's vows. You have loved your husband, David since 7th grade. That is an amazing love story. Look at the bright side you probably just adopted about a hundred new listeners to your show. We have a big family. Congratulations, and you're gonna love what we're giving away every day in the month of May. With bob and sherry, congratulations, sherri lynch named one of the most influential women in radio again this year. It's bob and sharing. You guys, I'm really excited and very grateful and a little bit nervous. I've been contacted by a gentleman in Cambodian named mister safi. And he says that I know this letter may have come to you as a surprise, but I urge you to try and read this email because I am mister safi Cambodian. It's a bold and strong open. Is he a listener? Is mister sat be listening? He says, he says, please, I urge you to try and read this email because I am mister safi. A Cambodian by nationality, I work in the audit department of a finance here in Cambodia. We had a client who came into our company and deposited some funds. Unfortunately, he died without referencing next of kin. For many years now, no one has come forward to claim the deposit funds. And the expiration blah blah blah blah blah, the fund can not be approved by a Cambodian local bank account holder or a local commodity and citizen. It can only be approved by a foreigner. And he has your same name. So mister sherry lynch passed away. And mister safi hopes that I am paying attention, he says mister sappy says you and I can equally benefit from this opportunity. I assure you that the process of securing these funds would be absolutely under the legal and legitimate laws of your country and ours. Upon my receipt of your favorable response, I will make available to you all the necessary information. Thank you with warm and friendly greetings from mister safi. So, you know, naturally, I was excited. I got kids in college. You know, I was super excited to hear that mister sherry lynch died in Cambodia and that mister safi has reached out for me and I thought, you know, maybe this is real. He's not pretending to be a Nigerian prince. You know? And then he emailed me again. And he said, sappy here, looking forward to your favorable reply. So what I liked about that is we're friends now. I don't have to call him mister safi now. He's just sappy. Right. Right. And then I scrolled a little further down, and I got an email from a non K in Thailand who has contacted me due to an inheritance that was also lost in Thailand by a person with my same name so apparently mister sherri lynch also died in Thailand. And in Cambodia, two different mister sherry lynch's. Well, the odds, you know, I think you would agree that your family seems to be the sort of people that originated in Thailand. Cambodia. Cambodia. I have to tell you, I have to tell you what else is in a nong's email because I've never seen this in any of these emails before. Friend, I have decided to relocate to your country to start a new life set up a joint business with you and stay under your care. So I guess my reputation for taking in strays has gone far too wide. It's called worldwide, yeah. So mister sappy just wants to give me some money and non is giving me the money and then wants to come live in my house and be under my care. Boy, that's a lot. That's a big ask, don't you think? You know, no matter where you go in this world, there's always somebody who's going to lie to you. Either either or covering up some crime they've done or to steal from you. Like I was reading about this guy in Louisiana. He's 22 years old. And he's a car thief. And he was out trying to steal a car. And the cops got a call that there is a man out there grabbing handles of cars and seeing if they were open. And so the cops came by and they arrested him. And they said, all right, we've been we've been watching you. You went through 22 cars. And he said, I was sleepwalking. Wow. Was he really, though? No, no, no. That was okay. That's all yeah, man. He was a thief. That's all he was doing, but he had to come up, you know? You got to come up with a lie to try to get out of it. Because my oldest bonus son still sleepwalks. Are you kidding, really? No. So far he stays, he stays in the house, yeah. I mean, he did, you know, usually they say you outgrow that, although I suppose there are plenty of people that are quite old and sleepwalk. But yeah, he stays in the house. He's still sleepwalks. I just hope that when a non comes to live under my care in my house, after giving me the money from the late mister lynch, I just hope nong's not a sleepwalker because I got pets. It's just gonna be chaos. It's already hard enough to sleep around here. You know, if I look back, not that far off, not that long ago. There actually, I think there might have been one or two mister sherry lynch's, at least they were referred to that way. Oh, but you know what? Don't they continue to draw breath? Yes. And I promise you not one of them is I'm never going to get an email from one of them, leave me money. No. It's bobbing cherry. Hey, thank you so much for listening to the bob and cherry podcast and the bob and sherry podcast we would love if you would subscribe, rate and review and share it with a friend on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, wherever you go, and thank you again for listening. You love Lala canton on Vanderpump rules. Now get to know her on give them Lala. Lala with her assistant chess. I get an interaction hangover. Voila, you're an extroverted introvert. That's like that one it is. So people would probably assume you're an extrovert because when you're out, you're social and this and that, but it takes a toll on you. It did. But that's a real thing. You get physically exhausted. My body hurt. Yeah. Give them Lala listen wherever you get your podcasts..

"And happy to welcome in our next guest who's an analyst at Gulfstream park where they are smack dab into the final few weeks of the championship meet. The Florida Derby looms just over two weeks away, very happy to welcome back Brian down out of the show, Brian. How are you? Jason, I'm really doing really well and good to hear from you again. And like you said, yeah, we've got a couple more weeks left in the championship meet, the big day, the Florida Derby. So we've got one in front of us and I know you've kind of got one behind you. Swap and roll through. Well, it was funny. I remember I wrote a thing about Pete a while back in the blog and I was kind of saying you're like, hey man, the Pegasus is over. Congratulations. You don't have another huge national race tell that I realized like, oh, the holy bowl is literally Saturday. Sorry, buddy. Yeah. It's kind of the rest for the weary. No, no. It's funny. I think the last time we had you on was you were at fairgrounds, so I want to say it was very late 2020, like December. You moved your tack over to Gulfstream park. How did the opportunity come to work at GP? Yeah, it's just been great. You know, I've lived in Fort Lauderdale for that's been about four or 5 years now I've been coming down here wintering for ten or 11 years now. So I guess it was I think it was previous weekend last year, Jason, where there is an opportunity to sub in and fairgrounds that ended and I was freelancing, so to speak. And the opportunity arose and asked me, hey, could you fill in for the weekend? And absolutely. Yes, and sure. I can do that. And then it just kind of morphed from there and picked up a few days here and there. And then once the championship meets started, I've been there every day. So it was really beneficial to just to be able to work probably 12, 15 days between May and the championship meet to kind of get my feet wet and get to know everybody. I know that new everybody there, but get to know them on a working kind of level in relationship. So man, it's just been great and I'm loving every day of it. I was going to ask if he had to step up your fashion game because Ron and Acacia there, their snazzy dressers. Seems to have people take notice of that. Other race tracks that I will mention. Yeah, I did. There's no doubt about it. And I had to get some more sport coats and stuff. But yeah, it's sitting next to Acacia. On a day in and day out basis, yeah, I'm going to finish second in that contest every single day. Well, if I remember right from talking to Ron, he was in the fashion business early on in his career, I think, right? The Nicolas story is tremendous. Stores several of them. I think at the height of his powers, so to speak and quite popular and stores to the stars kind of thing that they did. So he is very in the loop in the fashion realm and he was in New York City and they had stores and making costumes for David Bowie and stuff like that. So yeah. I think twice every day when I pick out the assets, you know what I mean? It's so funny. I was thinking about this recently. A lot of people, your careers aren't necessarily this like one linear thing or one industry or whatnot. You know, I know a lot of us think of ourselves as race track lifers and some of us will be some of us won't be, but it's just so funny like the twists and turns your life can take and like to me his story is such an interesting one like that. Like what two different worlds than fashion and gambling? Oh without a doubt and you know he kind of reinvented himself and when he came down to South Florida and now he's mister South Florida basically for years and years and years and mister Gulfstream park and I would think Jason, you probably feel the same way. I know you love what you do. And going to work is not a job. So it's just to work with those guys and Ronnie. Ronnie's a great to me too. From day one. You know, I knew him to say hi. But never really that close and just he's welcomed me with open arms from day one. And you know, that goes a long way with me. I'll never forget that because that can go a couple of different ways, you know? And he's just been so, so gracious. We have a blast on a day in day out basis and like I said, I look forward to going to work every day. My favorite little nicoletti ism and I do it to this day and I'll do it to Pete sometimes when I call him he has a way that he'll pronounce certain names and they all replay show even back at GPW a winner for mister safi Joseph junior and so to this day I always say safi's name like that and then he would say you know mister McGill a Vasquez. It's like what else do it that way too so there's about 5 or 6 names at any time I hear him I say I'm in my bad Ron Nickelodeon impression. Well, Ryan, let's talk a little bit of GP racing and I want to start with what seems like I mean I feel like I've been hearing this conversation for a while now and that's the Topeka service not thoughts on it or anything like that but more playing it because it seems like everybody keeps talking about trying to figure it out and make sense of it. How do you feel as a handicap who's there every day kind of quote unquote figuring out a new surface? Yeah, it's difficult Jason. I don't think there's any two ways about it. I mean, you know, we're not really that accustomed to it unless you're, you know, you've played certain tracks over the course of an all weather kind of surface and when I first started and they kind of put it in late in the summer, it was very slow and I think it's tightened up a little bit. The one thing, especially when I'm taking trip notes and noting paths and things like that, I do think there's been an extended period. There's definitely been days is that government days where the inside hasn't been very good. So that's the one thing I've kind of taken note of maybe stalker closers on the outside of have been a little bit better. With that being said, it's come around a little bit in the past. I'd say three to four weeks, but I think on a whole, you don't really want to be bogged down inside, other than that, Jason, I think it's been pretty fair. You know, it's not like, you know, Keenan from way back when, where if you went 50 on the lead, you still had no chance. It doesn't matter. It's not like that. And the times have been pretty fast and horses, they really have come from all over. You know, there's been worse since gone 21 and four and they don't stop, but then there's been races at that fall apart because horses have gone 21 and four. So I think overall with the exception of maybe being down inside, I think it's played pretty fair, Jason. And you know, it's been it's been a good thing. You know, you're in Florida. Are you know how the weather can be and nobody wants nobody wants a 12 horse turf race washed off with 5 horses on a sloppy main track. So it's been very, very beneficial in that in that we've lost very few courses when we've been forced to move to the Topeka from the turf, the weather has been, you know, again, with the exception of last year being in New Orleans. I've been in South Florida for the winter for the better part of 12 years now. And the weather this winter has been very problematic..

"Genders. Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys. Okay, so she is dating a white male TV. All the time, but also can we talk about that cat going to town? That cat was not done the entire video. And I thought that was amazing. That was like this show is dirty. I need to clean it off. I think we had was a little it was very sensual. Yeah, it was. Isn't it enough to tell someone that you're dating? It would be enough for me. If someone told me when I was dating, you look so sexy in that shirt. You look so hot when you wear clothes like that. It turns me on so much. For me, that would be enough to be like, oh, well, maybe I should rock this look then. I just don't give him any compliments when he wears things. Yeah. Something smells different. And then of course literally anything else, it's like, wow, actually, mama, woohoo. How about. Wait, ayo, you're saying pretend she has synesthesia, and then is that when you were saying? Yeah. Yeah, so full out, going to just one second. You have a completely different sense. I also feel like with guys you can like, I don't know. Buy somebody like a shirt. But see, I will tell you this, though, this man right here, he owns about 79 band t-shirts, okay? And Andy like, likes what he likes. I remember the first time I bought him a hoodie at urban because I'm also the kind of person where like, if it's on sale, I'm just buying it, right? And I'm like, this is on sale, this would fit you. And I get it for him. And I was like, oh, here's this hoodie. It literally is just a different color than the one he had, which is the same hoodie in a different vibe. And he's like, and I was like, here, and he's like, okay. I was like, why don't you like? And he was like, it's not my hoodie. He has the clothes. This is early in our love. This was not like recently, but it was like first few months. Early where he was like, this is where what I wear. And I've had to kind of pull you into some interesting tiny dots on a shirt into a button down moment. It is surprising how many cis straight men are really actually very attached to their clothing and very sort of create stories around it about it's important and truly in a way that you think that women do with fashion, but guys just aren't as fashionable, but still have such a connection to what they're wearing. They never want to get rid of anything. It just is a thing. My childhood, my dad had the bigger, he had the hers closet to her's closet. And my mom just has three closets, one's downstairs when she has two upstairs. And my dad had the big one and I was like, and it's like full length, like walked in. He has all this shit. And I was like, when does he even buy clothes? I've never seen him in my clothes. I've never seen him come in with a bag. I don't know how the clothes appear. I feel like he's hiding it. In this situation, it's tough 'cause it is like you don't want to be like telling your partner what to wear. And I don't know. Like, do you just see him in a check or start and just be like, oh, oh my God, my pussy just drive up. When I look at your shirt, I don't know what happened. This is Eric. It's so arid. Oh, God. That's just something about the checkers. Anyway, so I'm not going to grocery store. You want some? I don't know how you suddenly, you know. That might not be subtle. Right. That might not be subtle. Yes, my thoughts. Oh, through my vaginal canal. Oh, God. Listen, mister safi, how do you feel about this? Sure. They are loving this conversation. I'll write my parents are watching, oh no. No, they can handle it. They can handle it. They're killed. We like taking them on a journey. But he knows who I am. I'm pretty sure. I give you what Brian was saying about being like, oh, wow. Something different. Woohoo. Something's in there. What do you think of me though? 'cause I think about it opposite way. We're saying this because you're wearing a checkered shirt and like pussy is arid. That is what you said Lacey. My ovaries turned into little raisins. That was that might be a little bit meaner. Then I love what you're wearing. I'm throwing mine in the hat and saying is it more nice to be like, maybe I love you. Can you just buy some different shirts? 'cause you got so many of these damn shirts. And I love you so much and I love seeing you every day. But it started to look like a cartoon character who like, hey, Arnold every day, baby. You know? And yeah. Like, I feel like maybe it's more straightforward 'cause I feel like all the other stuff, now that I hear it, I'm like, oh, that's nagging. Yeah, I guess I should have waited. Okay. That I hear it. Exactly what you said. My other idea is you could just put like when you make sure this is dark at night. And you have to leave an open and being like, come in the closet later, or whatever. And then he lay part coming the closet at ten 45 p.m.. Meanwhile, you've been in there all night because you're hiding in there. So he finally goes and he's like, oh, wow, what's awaiting me in here? And you go in and you are holding a knife to your throat. And you say, if you don't stop wearing these, I'm absolutely gonna slice them up right off. And then see if that works, then it might. Honestly, sometimes you really have to go big to get anywhere. Yeah. Yeah. The last idea is you like, if there's somebody who's a guy who like who style, you actually really like if you can think of like a guy or a type of guy or whatever whose style you really like, then make him your phone background. Just like, yes. Make his marker, you know? The photo of a solid shirt, your phone back. Like no person wearing it just a solid man shirt. No, not helping anymore. We just threatened a 72 hour hold. We've got my fallopian tubes or husks now. We've got we've got your hideous. Yeah, yeah. I feel like it just, for me, someone gives me a compliment. I need it. Take it run with it, yeah. Absolutely. Absolutely..

"60 $2 and 50 cents. See, I can add. I can do math in my head. But $62 50 cents is not a crazy amount for a lot of players, right? Like it's somewhat reasonable for pick four players. And that's giving them 5 by 5 by one by 5 or in this case 5 by one by 5 by 5 coverage. And obviously there's different ways to go about it. But to add in that fourth difficult leg where you might have to go four or 5 deep, it literally jumps the ticket cost up to $312 and 50 cents because it's 625 combinations. And so I would argue that there's a pretty big prohibitive cost to go from $60 to $300 for a lot of players. A lot of players, I would say a majority of players, 300 is on the north end of what they're willing to spend or lose in a day. I think it's way on the north end of that. Most folks are playing, you know, 5, ten, 15, 20 bucks a race max. And so you know, it's that much more difficult to hit that pick 5 for a lot of reasons. And I think when you add a 5th race that's not only an extra leg, but a tough leg like that first race was that's why you get a much bigger payout. The feature at aqueduct on Saturday, the Garland of rosa steaks, and I was so, so wrong. This race in terms of how I thought it could play out versus how it did, but I should say I was right on how it how it was right on how I thought the race would set up. It just didn't finish. I thought I thought city lady looked like very dangerous lone speed. I thought just Reddit was a really good long shot to come from off the pace. Both those happened for the first half of the race, but not so much the second. Let's take a listen back to John and brielle's call. Here is the garlic of roses. And they're off. It is Citi lady who goes out for the early lead. It is Sadie lady in front. Let me take this call runs in second song rivers on the outside and third call on mischief down at the rail and forth. Just read it as next day and 5th, star front far outside and the early trailer is glass ceiling in 7th. Sadie lady is the leader here by a length and a half. Song river up on the outside, second by ahead. Let me take this call down towards the rail and third the quarter one in 22 and one. It is Sadie lady, the leader here by a little more than a length. Let me take this call down at the rail in second, then comes song river star front on the extreme outside, call on mischief. His advancing now in between horses. And then at the back is a glass ceiling. As the field comes into the stretch, still Sadie lady there, the half 45 and three glass ceiling is gobbling up the slop on the outside. Here comes glass ceiling, who has now taken over the lead. Call on mischief has moved into second. Let me take this call and Sadie lady. Last ceiling with a less to first victory in the Garland of roses. So glass ceiling super impressive took to the slop and rallied from off the pace. They went Sadie lady. I thought, you know, could be dangerous on the lead, 5 and a half to one thought the price was all right and just got overwhelmed by him down the stretch in a glass ceiling, Dylan Davis, who continues to really do well lately. It seems like it seems. And I feel like I've said that for a while now. So maybe he's just doing maybe he's just good. But yeah, really, really nice effort from a glass ceiling, you know, has just gotten just been, you know, they claim for 40,000 back in the spring and as I talked about when we preview this race. You know, this horse was very solid before the claim and charm baker Charlie baker is a very like just one of those incredibly good New York trainers that's year and year out of very solid numbers kind of bar and obviously we talked about the success of Saratoga points toward that meet yada yada yada. But this horse in the Cantor Macy barnum actually is a kind of Machiavelli. But you know, was running high 80s low 90s bridge numbers was competing with that first level allowance. They finally drop in for acclaim. Charlie takes horse jumps up to pretty much that same allowance condition, run second, runs a low 90 number, runs an 81 in the start after like still takes a while to get through that first condition. In fact, took four starts. Finally got through it in pretty big fashion at Belmont and then last time and then the pumpkin pie ran very good behind lady rocket who we know came back in one and it just seems to be in good form right now. And a four year old horse has been around a little bit, but it just seems I mean and it's like I said, the move forward from a numbers standpoint like it's not it's not that much. Like it's not that big of a move forward, but just, you know, that extra little step sometimes at that higher level, it's the difference between winning and losing when they all can run. But really, really nice effort from glass ceiling to get the wind. Down at Gulfstream park, but he's down there in South Florida PETA yellow and Acacia back down at Gulfstream and love all the folks down there. Ron nicoletti, I always do my Nickelodeon impression whenever safi Joseph wins because he'll do it on the show and go. Mister safi Joseph junior so I always do that anytime so everyone's a race wherever I'm calling, which of course is pretty much only here at this point. But you know he's a mom with a Calder and stuff like that. But anyways, the feature, the mister prospector steaks. Let me get back to horse racing and not my run. Nicoletti impression. The mist prosper kind of the first big graded stakes race in the championship meet and obviously sets the tone here as we get into several pretty fun months of racing data Gulfstream, a lot of big Saturdays and looking forward to it..

"Edition and start with some aqueduct chatter and go back to the Saturday card, which it was so funny as at some point Saturday I pulled over, you know, run through my Twitter while I'm getting gas or dinner or whatever it was and I see David Aaron going to tweet something to the effect of like another crazy result. I don't know what to like completely mystified. And so start looking through the results later at night and I see a 46 to one in a 7 horse field, where the other longest shot was 9 to one. So not only the last choice, but like the way last choice. And I'm like, okay, well, maybe it's that he was talking about, then I get scanned further. Oh, there's a two to 5 after that. But then the feature, the already schiller, obviously a crazy result. Now, a few scratches, obviously, there's some MTO. So field pass ended up not going. But they ended up with a field of 9 and they already shiller going a mile on the turf, which it looks like on TV that they start like a tiny little bit in the chute, but really I don't think it's that. That exaggerated. I always I'm excited about Tampa because we have the turf shoot and I remember at Gulfstream park west, loving those races, but also realizing how many subtle trips come out of that shoot because you're essentially it's like a two and a half turn race, if not a full three turn race. And so losing ground coming out of that shoe, and then going right into the next the first turn, the quote unquote first turn, it can really not be great. And you obviously get horses that shuffle around a little bit and so you'll get some funny trips in these races. They already shiller. Like I said, they kind of start at least it looks like on TV like they start as the track is straightening away. But I remember it Gulfstream west they would show the like the overhead view like on the when they would do the replay show Ron nicoletti would come on and he would do the track and weather conditions. I love how Ron talks. He's got kind of that horse voice. Mister safi Joseph junior. He always holds the last name. He's the best. But he would do like the track weather conditions and they would show kind of an overhead shot of the turf course and you would see that coming out of the shoot like they really don't straighten into the lane. Like it's kind of a rolling turn into the lane and then right into the turn. And obviously, it's a little different from track to track and aqueduct. There is a little bit of straight, but not a whole lot. And so these races I always love to watch them because I think you can find some some interesting trips and stuff. But like this race, the Artie schiller kind of ended up proving to be like the antithesis of all that thought because it just did not work out that way. Sent off as your favorite of my little charcoal. There we go. Set off is your favorite flavius down toward the inside with Jose Ortiz, of course for Chad Brown at the judgment. I tell your daddy Tom Morley's horse, who's great at stakes winner over the summer. In here, march to the arch in here. And wide open bedding group of sorts. It was almost 5 to two on flavius is the favorite and a few bombs as well. But let's take a listen back to John and brielle's call of the Artie schiller from Saturday at aqueduct. And they're off. It is Ronaldo who's going out for the early lead flavius is down at the rail now, bodie cream moves up on the outside. They come under the line for the first time and it is Ronald the leader. Bodhi creams on the outside and second and then it is flavius and tell your daddy, they are heads apart, third and fourth. Olympic runner is in 5th position. Looking to come through with the rail is on March to the arch on the outside is NYC and at the back of the pack breaking the rules and mandate. The opening quarter mile over the good turf in 24 and three 5th seconds and it is Ronald showing the way here leading by a length and a quarter. Bodhi cream runs in second, tell your daddy on the outside now moving up from third. Flavius is down at the rail and in fourth, then NYC and mandate followed by Olympic runner breaking the rules and on March to the arch, down at the fence. The half and 49 and four. And it is still an Aldi with the lead here and Aldi's in front. Tell your daddy in second with bodie cream and third as they go around the far turn. Rinaldi and tell your daddy, they are one two. Bodie creams and third mandates on the outside and forth and flavius is down at the rail then and YC and breaking the rules on the extreme outside three quarters went in one 14 and two. They are in the stretch and it is still Ronald. Here's tell your daddy and on the outside it is mandate three of them across the track for the lead.
