Mike Gallagher to Sponsor 3 Golf Teams for Carolina Pregnancy Center
"Nice email that was sent from folks over at the Carolina pregnancy center when Elizabeth Warren this week said that crisis pregnancy centers all over America need to be shut down. And yep, she said it. Very forceful. I'm sure she'll say it again. I doubt that she'll take it back. She should. It's evil. It's ghastly to think that a powerful prominent politician wants to shut down. Environments that are trying to give women an alternative to destroying that unborn baby, and the Carolina pregnancy center is in Spartanburg, South Carolina, they're doing great work. And my pal Joey Hudson is going to be part of a big golf tournament they're having in August. And I'm sponsoring a number of golfers who are going to be playing in the golf tournament to benefit the Carolina pregnancy center and Joey's sponsoring a team. He told me this morning, I'm sponsoring hurricanes in my sponsoring three or four, by the time this was over, I'll be sponsoring 30 teams. I challenged Joey to match me. I'll bet he will. But nonetheless, I'm happy to do it because I know they're doing great work and here's a note that I got from the Carolina pregnancy center. Dear mister Gallagher, thank you so much for all your kind words about Carolina pregnancy center. We had so many calls and texts as a result. One man even Googled us and came by for a tour, it was so encouraging also we're so appreciative to you for the three teams you are sponsoring for our golf tournament. You should come down and play. Listen, I want to help the Carolina pregnancy center. You don't want me

"Named Gianna Caldwell. Gianna Caldwell is a Fox News regular. I see him on social media on Fox News a lot. Young black conservative who suffered the unimaginable this week when his little brother was murdered in Chicago and as painful as it had to be as difficult as it had to be. This strong courageous young man gianno Caldwell felt a need to appear on national television last night. I come here tonight as it, a man who feels shattered. My baby brother, Kristen, who just turned 18 this year is no longer with me. He. Was a good kid. And certainly knowing that living in Chicago seemingly comes with a price these days, but I would never have intended or rather expected that it would come with a death sentence for my baby brother. Black bodies are being littered in the streets of Chicago. And it's not just impacting African Americans here, is impacting everyone. You can't go downtown Chicago. Now without looking around your shoulder, you may be shot there. The truth of the matter is we need to uncuff the police and that's what's happened. The policies, the software crime policies that have been pushed by many of the elected officials here are only causing more crime. They've only bared dead fruit. And now my family is paying the price.

"And I don't dispute that he made some mistakes. I started my day with a knock down drag out with my pal Mark Davis in Dallas because Mark said, wow, we dodged a bullet. Why? I still can't hit the high notes. That's called doing a musical nonstop for three weeks and screeching and blowing out your voice. Yeah, mark's very excited that Madison Cawthorn lost. And I sort of tried with love and respect to get Mac marked to back off. We Republicans never know how to act. Unified. And Mark claims that it was all about finding the most conservative representative. Possible. And I get it. I appreciate that. But there is this, there is a populism that the establishment types can't stand. That's why they hate Trump so much. It has to do with the populist streak of trumpism. Populism is not conservatism. And some of us are having a more difficult time than others in reconciling the two.
Mike Gallagher's Family & Friends Send Birthday Wishes
"I'm gonna get emotional here. My son Trevor, who's been through so much, he was the one in the auto accident. He's a 5th grade teacher. He teaches special Ed to 5th grade kids at a great charter school in Texas. Very, very unique calling and he feels and that goes back to our pasture for many years ago, pastor John mckellar at white's chapel Methodist Church in south Lake Texas, years ago, suggested to Trevor that he should be a teacher as Trevor began that path for kids who have special needs. And that's what Trevor does. And today, again, I'm going to get emotional. He sent me a video clip with a couple of his young charges, his young students wishing mister Gallagher, a happy birthday. And that came after a little video clip of Trevor and my granddaughter, lily, sending pop ups, happy birthday wishes. If you'd
Twitter Suspends Mark Davis for Alleged Hate Speech
"My poor buddy Mark Davis in Dallas is steadfast in his existence that he's going to keep playing in Twitter's playground and they suspended him. Because he reposted something on the trans debate. And Twitter won't have it. That's hate speech. So now Mark Davis, who is as good and decent a guy as you'll ever meet is on the record as committed the sin of hate speech on Twitter and they gave him a timeout for 12 hours. I keep saying Mark. Walk away. Why do you want to keep getting abused by some 20 year old virtue signaler in Silicon Valley who's going to monitor your feed and shut you down? It is a terrible feeling incidentally. YouTube has done it to us. YouTube did it to us when we played a Fox News clip of a mom standing up at a school board meeting in Atlanta. All we did was play the clip. I didn't even say anything other than introduce the clip. That was COVID misinformation, mister Gallagher, your YouTube account is now suspended. Sebastian gorka is suspended forever. He can never go back on YouTube. Now think about that. Let that sink in. Millions of people who listen to us, millions of people who agree with us, might disagree with us. It's okay. Robust debate is not permitted. By big tech, by the mainstream media,

A Response to 'Are You Retired, or Do You Work?'
"I want to be one of those seniors who's had a relatively easy time. Now, that doesn't always happen. As I found out with my hernia surgery and my hip replacement and my COVID and I guess COVID is an age related. Yesterday I was kind of curious about this condo building that's being built in St. Petersburg. And it's being spearheaded by John catsimatidis in New York, who's the really amazing businessman. He owns the supermarket chain. And he bought WABC radio. Prior to buying WABC radio, he worked a lot with the station we're on in New York. I am 9 70. The answer. I went over to check out their building this the biggest building on the West Coast of Florida. It's going to be like, I think 60 stories tall. And I was just kind of curious. I've never, I would never buy a condo sight unseen. I mean, they do this slick sales pitch where they beautiful artist renderings and everything and the model. I'm thinking, you know, the guy and the guy was good. And he asked me not knowing what I do for a living. Are you retired? Or do you work? I almost broke out in tears. I almost started crying. I was like, who the heck are you? What do you mean am I retired? Do I look like I'm retired, kid? Is about this 30 something year old guy? Are you retired or do you work, mister Gallagher? No, I work, pal. And I'll be working long after you're gone. 'cause I get cats and Matias to fire your butt because you're asking people they're old.

"Is going to be a revolution. You want to see what will happen. The revolution. Here's cut 8. This was senator jeanine Amazon, is a gene or gene. I guess it's gene, Janine. Jean shaheen. Warning, what will happen if the Supreme Court dares overturn their precious roe V wade? This infringement on women's rights on our privacy on the attempt to have state control of our personal health really is what we would see in an authoritarian state. It's not what we would expect in New Hampshire. I think if you want to see a revolution, go ahead, outlaw roe V wade and see what the response is of the public, particularly young people. It sounds like a threat to me if there's violence in the streets as she responsible. I mean, your cow's out of that bar and we've already seen violence in the streets. One 806 5 5 Mike, 806 5 5 6 four 5 three welcome into a December 1st episode of the Mike Gallagher show and the relief factor dot com studios. Let's start with Mike in Pittsburgh. Hey Mike, how are you? Hey, mister Gallagher, God bless you. How you doing? God bless you. How's it going? Good, good. Hey, here's the thing. And I respect everything you say. And I'm a fan and everything. But here's my problem. Nobody talks about what happens after. And I'm pro life and everything. But what happens after? The woman doesn't have abortion. What do we do? Where do we put the kid? Who pays for it? That's my number one issue. What do you mean who pays for it? Who pays for what? What are you going to do? Where are you going to put them? Put the child? Yeah. All right, so kill them. Right, so murder them? No, no, no, no. I'm pro life, man. Why can't they be real life when you're worried when you say what are we going to do? How are we going to pay for the child? Because everybody is saying, okay, we don't and I'm against 100% against it. But there's no plan for anything. What's the government going to take care of them? You know what I love? You know what I love? You know what I love about your call? Is it says on the screen you were gonna call me and try to straighten me up because you think I'm not thinking straight and you're saying what you're saying? You think you're thinking straight? You're pro life? Yeah. You're pro life. But nobody's nobody talks about the man's responsibility in this thing. Hey, I'm a father three. My dad taught me, hey, you got to be responsible. Nobody talks about the man being the kid, the boy being responsible as well. Everything's put on the female. It seems. I agree. Okay. Okay. But nobody talks about it. What does that have to do with whether or not a roe V wade is should be overturned or not? Because what happens next? Follow that out. Finish the sentence. What do you, what do you want to happen next? Because we have to start with teaching men to be the boys and be men be kids to be responsible. I know accidents happen. Mike, you're all over the road here. You're all over the room. You are. You are today. Stay focused. What should happen to roe V wade? That's what's before the court today, Mike, not whether the boy is going to be responsible, not whether men are going to be men, not whether the husband or the boyfriend should be involved. I understand what should happen to roe V wade today in front of the Supreme Court. I agree that it should be overturned. There you go. That's some clarity. All right, good. I'm glad you straightened me out. Thanks, Mike, but I appreciate very much your call. 806 5 5 Mike. Oh,.

"Nature 802 four 6 8 7 51 or go to balance in nature dot com. Promo code, Mike G Greg gutfeld said something so amazing. I'm at a point right now, I realized I was thinking about this last night when I went to bed. By the way, I forgot to finish the story about the state trooper. I don't know why. I'm sorry, I lost my train of thought because I got all distracted with prison fellowship and angel tree and Hewitt and Annie. And daddy warbucks. Is there a better feeling than getting stopped by a cop and you're going to get a ticket? And then he comes back and gives you a warning. It's like a Christmas present. Yesterday afternoon, I'm driving down I 85, which is a nightmare in the upstate. I mean, I got construction. I am stuck in that, I'm going to say it damn traffic every day. I got to figure out how to go around it. Pelham road or something. There's got to be an easier way. Anyway, I'm getting opening and I'm driving and I don't think I'm speeding and there's the red and blue lights behind me. He gets right on my tail. I'm thinking uh oh. And the state troopers in South Carolina at least in this part have these real fancy Dodge chargers, I think they are. So I'm pulling over and he gets out very efficient, state troopers got the familiar round hat, licensed and registration. Now I'm driving Joey's car. I've got Joey Hudson's car. I'm in I got the Florida driver's license and I'm in Greenville South Carolina on I 85. I'm thinking he's going to take me to jail. Whatever I've done, he's going to think all I can do is pray that maybe he's a listener because a lot of law enforcement appreciates what we do with Gallagher's heroes, although I would never play that card, I promise. I would never do that. Oh, actually I did it one time because I was forced to. More on that in just a minute. Anyway, it comes up. I give him the Joey's registration, give him my driver's license. He said, sir, you change lanes without turning on your turn signal. And I'm like, yikes. And he was right. So what am I gonna do? I said, yes, sir. Yes, sir. He said you shouldn't do that. You were in front of a semi. Now I didn't cut the semi off or anything. I was way ahead of the semi, but he saw me change the lanes without. And I think I did it twice. I got in the middle lane and then I went over to the right lane. And I did not turn on my charge signal on the highway. And he said, all right, let me do the paperwork and I'll have you on your way. And I thought, okay, and I said, yes, sir. And I sat there thinking great. I got a ticket, how much is it going to be? Such is life is going to be any points on my driving record. But it was you had to be dead to rights. He was right. I didn't put my signal in. He came back to the car. He said, okay, mister Gallagher, here's your driver's license, and here's a warning. We're going to give you a warning. You got to be careful. Don't change lanes without putting on your turn signal. I was so happy and like a dummy. Not like a dummy. I mean, I met it. I said, thank you, trooper, be safe. God bless you. I wanted to give him a big hug. It's a great feeling. So if there's a state trooper in South Carolina, might be listening because I know a lot of people listen to 94 5 the answer, it is the big talk radio powerhouse here in the upstate of South Carolina and in western North Carolina and north Georgia, which I think is where Lillian was listening. Thank you, trooper, for not giving me a ticket. Although if you did, I would have deserved it. I'd have paid the fine. I would have had to deal with it. So, but isn't it a great feeling? You think you're going to get a ticket? And you don't. All right, let's go back to what we were talking about. Race in America. Picture a violent white supremacist who beats up his girlfriend runs her over with his car. And that is out on $1000 cash bail. Two days later, the white supremacist plows his car into a bunch of black Americans at a parade. What do you think the media would be doing? The media would be out of its mind with the racist country we live in, look at white supremacy, Biden would be given a speech that white supremacy is the biggest threat we face. Remember when he said that? We probably could pull that clip up in two seconds. White supremacy, it's a greater threat than ISIS than Al-Qaeda, the terrorism, then illegals who are breaking biggest threat in the world. Our existential crisis is white supremacy somehow. January 6th, insurrection, insurrection, one person charged with insurrection. I'm waiting. Surely they're going to charge somebody with insurrection. Since they told us, it was an insurrection. Got to be an insurrection. Don't you charge somebody with insurrection? No, they're charged with trespassing. They're charged with assaulting a police officer. And make no mistake. Those people that were fighting cops and hurting them and hitting them, they need to be held accountable. But can we get real about what happened in Waukesha? A black guy who is an ex con, he has a decades long rap sheet. According to the New York Post. He called for violence against white people, he suggested Hitler was right.

"Promo code Mike G let's get a Liberal Democrat perspective on election integrity. Jerry is in Dallas. Hi Jerry welcome. How are you? Hi, mister Gallagher, I'm good. How are you? I'm doing great, sir. I appreciate your call. Give us your take on this. You know, actually, I was just laughing at the little jingle you played before with. That's kind of cool. I mean, it makes you want to go to sleep. But there's going to be nothing productive in talking to Jerry. I can tell you that right now. So we're going to move along. Ken's in Oakland, California. Hi Ken. Hi, Mike, how are you doing today? I'm great, sir. How are you doing? I'm doing fantastic. All right, truck driver. I listen to Salem radio 8 hours a day, 5 days a week and have for years now. Thank you. I'm really appreciate your support, Ken. Yeah, I appreciate you guys being out there spreading the truth. You know, I've listened to a lot of what Michael and Dell did at the cyber symposium on Frank speech dot com. I listened to him for over a hundred days now. And he has absolute proof that child is involved in stealing this election and hopefully he brings it out to the people because the people need to realize that China is trying to take over the United States. They want to be the superpower of the world. And I've learned a lot of that information from you guys and from him. And thank God that there's ability to get the truth out there. Thank you very much, Ken. Drive safe out there and thank you very much for supporting our company. Here's David San Diego. Dave, how you doing? I'm doing good. Mike, I think it's a big mistake to take Chris Christie's advice and not look back to 2020 not because of what happened in 2020. But what could happen and the election integrity with the grassroots movement boots on the ground in Virginia is what caused that to turn from blue to red. So I think it's not necessarily looking back to 2020. Wait a minute, wait, and go back to go back to Virginia. I didn't get your point there about Virginia because to people who say turn red. Yeah, go ahead. You turn around. Yeah, and so there's been obviously I'm a conservative listening to a lot of conservative talk. There were grassroot movements that were in boots on the ground in Virginia that were focused on electron integrity. It's harder to cheat when you know you're under the microscope. So if we don't, if we don't continue to beat that drum and make what's happened in 2020, I think we're in big trouble, not only in 2022, but also in 2024. I think that I'm fighting the clock, but I appreciate your thoughts very much. I report and take. I want to and people seem to get a lot of text messages. I always talk about our partners here on this show and one of them is job creators network, you know, what the Biden administration has been doing as an assault on small business owners. And we all know what everybody knows it. That's why job creators network has filed a motion asking the 8th circuit Court of Appeals to block what Biden has attempted to do small business owners can afford the expensive legal work. That's why job creators network is doing it for them. They're doing the heavy lifting. We're going to talk this week to I believe Alfredo Ortiz tomorrow. "Me out. We've got noon or two or four. It's an 8 o'clock. It's 9. But I go in a week and a half. They've already admitted. If something happens to you, God forbid, we'll just have to shut the show down. Because there's no understudy for me. There's no there's no there's no daddy warbucks in the wing in the wings. And so I feel a responsibility because if I got a positive test, and again, I think I'll be I'd be shit. I think you'd be fine, I think. We should refine. I think we're playing the odds. If we get it, we get it. And chances are we're gonna get it. There's some big people around us getting it. And I'm not gonna share any names about that either. I'll let that play out. I'll let as you said this morning, the game can do. Oh yeah, okay. Oh yeah. Yeah, we got there's news about COVID in the country. I'm don't worry, but we're gonna probably mark in their part of you that thinks we're all gonna get it. At some point, we're gonna put we're all gonna get COVID distinctly possible, and yet on exactly the theme you're striking, I'm going to do my best while still living life to not get it. So that's my point. If you're with your daddy warbucks roll, and so many people's lives went lives. So many people's projects on you being extra mega super careful. Hundreds of people so I feel a responsibility a heavy responsibility. And incidentally, the universal thing was probably stupid because keeping that in mind, but I've also done the math in my mind. If I were to have gotten it from there, it's about ten, 12 days, they say, that's the cycle island west. I'll still make it. You know, it's October 18th today. I don't start rehearsals till November 1. So if I test positive in the next few days, I mean, because right now, I'm pretty well careful, not doing a whole lot masking up and you can make fun of me all you want, but I don't want to shut down this production. But by the way, PS may not go to the wedding on spending Christmas with my kids and my granddaughter. We're going to all be together at Christmas time. You can take that to the bank. Now let me tip my hat to you. The left when one of us dies, when somebody and look at what they did with the 8 or 9 or 74 talk show hosts who all passed of COVID. There are a whole bunch of them. And they mocked us. They made fun of conservatives who were supposedly anti vax, even when many of them weren't anti vax. Phil Valentine had a national was an anti vax. He was anti mandate, but they conflate the two of your anti mandate, you must be anti mask and your anti COVID and all this crap blah, blah, blah. The left is classless. They're mean spirited. They can be vile. We don't do that when somebody on the left dies. Somebody on the left died. Colin Powell died, as you said he was a pretty classic Obama loving liberal. Your kudos to him for his service for the role he played despite the way let's face it, he made us crazy over Trump and over politics, you didn't let that change the narrative that this is a historic figure who sadly died at the age of 84. That's the way the right does it. That's the way conservatives respond and we're going to do the same thing on my show today. We're going to honor his service. We don't pick at the scabs of times because it's a good, it's a good philosophical question. There are some who say if you have major differences with somebody when they're alive, why do they end when they die? That is true. It's fair. But I'll tell you why. But you know why it's fair? Because that would be because we believe that's hurtful. We believe that's mean. We believe that's a mean spirited thing to do. I hope I proved that it's possible to observe those differences and describe the ways in which he threw a curveball to any Republican who ever thought about him for president without dishonoring his service or taken away from the incredible life he led. And you did it masterfully. That's what I mean. I was so proud of you this morning and I'm gonna try to use that same kind of grace and smart as we as we acknowledge the death of former Secretary of State Colin Powell at the age of 84. Quick Ivermectin update. Yes. Do you remember the story about my Doc phoned it into the wrong pharmacy in blue Seattle? The pharmacist calls. We're not going to be fulfilling. You crazy person. You're ding, right. And so, of course, Florida, boom, hashtag, Florida, with truth, is my president signs all over. I send you those bumper stickers. They're driving to Disney. They're like 9 cars. Joe Biden's not my president. Trump is my president. We know he really won. Boy, I love living in Florida. Anyway, guess what the new obstacle is. "How you gonna pay for it are you gonna raise the middle class taxes. here's how we're going to do this. are going to go up for the wealthiest Americans for big corporation access was Lima cost and the hard working middle class families are going to see their costs go down and pull their taxes go up but here's the thing I'm saying I've listened to these as a few times before and I just wanna I just want to make a parallel suggestion for you but how you might defend the taxes that perhaps you're not mentioning in your sentence is it is it Medicare for all like public school. that might be taxes for it but you certainly save a lot of money and send your kids to school and you want to live in a world where kids are educated you want to live in a world where your fellow citizens are dying even if it costs a little bit of money. I accept your point and I believe in your point health care is a basic human right we fight for basic human rights and that's Medicare for all everyone gets covered she won't answer she refused she would not answer the question and he's trying to help her even trying to blue lefty that he is big lived that he is. he's a trump hater he he's he is completely infected with from derangement syndrome he's they're saying well now you know this is a good thing it will goal we all have to contribute we all got a pay to that does Medicare for all really is Medicare for not. that's what that's really the scans they want to take something that seniors have paid into. the whole lives and and take it away and make sure illegals get covered Medicare for all it's also great again. Cole bear knows she can't pay for. you cannot the numbers don't work and he knows it. we all know it. it's a it's a scam it really is it's ash gam. eighty minutes before the hour. yeah if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor if you like your health care play you can get they lie they lie. and the whole idea of universal background checks president trump is right. I'm usually I mean they again they are telling they are telling us are you in fact in favor of gun confiscation. yes that's presidential candidate Robert Frances battle workers Eric on the Mike Gallagher show seventeen before the hour higher. Mister Gallagher thanks for taking my call of your order posttraumatic hotel. don't want some what Mister Davis or anybody else lead you down the road of compelling callers to universal background check anybody can own a car and we don't need to be tracked title transfer correct unless you're going operate them on the world at least work where I'm from what's the vehicle does come across. car not on the road I mean I see here there's the funny mascot. this is important you're right in terms of not make the comparison of cars and guns is only used in terms of trying to make a comparison about a registration process but as you know there is no constitutional right to own a car. that's the big difference I'd your right as you put your difference it's a huge difference but they also have to re register either so to faults it's a straw man argument what does that have you register course a car has to be registered no only needs to be registered to be put on the world. the vehicle without plan right all the time where are you not a kind of a moot point if you're gonna get a car to drive it we mean it only has to be on the road. vehicles are operated in the airport for your example what I'm saying is those are cracked all right. and it's it's a year is a straw man is that you were distracted by arguing over a technicality I I've you've got some kind of point that I think you came up with that I I don't know that applies a devil's advocate argument could be. if you have to register a car even a person or persons shale they'll argue why not do the same with universal background checks for gun because again the guy in Texas as we pointed out the loopholes supposedly is the Texas exams somebody in a person a person private sale from a from a background check and the guy in Texas use that exemption to get a gun where he was previously turned out but I'm but I'm with you Erica I'm not really I mean I'm I'm sure arguing a distinction without a difference because at the end of the day I don't want it anymore than you do because look at what they want us want want what they want to advocate president trump is right. president trump is right when he says give them an inch they'll take a mile this is a slippery slope when they are promising confiscation we know. we know what's going to happen. they're trained vote for Democrats. they're gonna come take your guns and that is not a scare tactic. is it a scare tactic yes we're gonna take your A. thanks bye means a lot to me so Mister Lindau yes you know all all of whom carver lives would say probably ninety nine percent yes a lot of what you've done a lot of you are love your product my wife and I we don't live there anymore but I've long history if we go back and we could connect but I'll tell you everybody is so proud we cannot wait to see you in September there was going home town pre this my home town where I grew up in the hall was talking about and I throw pillows to the little kids and is just a forgery I show how do you over last year right what you've done so many cool things to remember the big giant pillow fight you had in the in the in the stadium yeah I mean but but also I I'm touched by your devotion to helping those who have gone through addictions right I've had that in my family my my son's I've made no secret about it have a couple of my sons of had big struggles and one of my sons who has had really hit rock bottom is now shoring he works with the salvation army in South Carolina I'm so proud of him he's been sober for years and clean he's doing great talk a little bit about your book coming out in a couple of weeks and how that ties into your mission to help those who are battling addiction well you know my story being a story of hope going from a crack addict to where I am now in fact the name of the park is one of the oz from crack and just see all I love it down as the pre sale of the book and the reason I'm in the book will be out actually not till December but I'm gonna have a pre sale and the reason I'm doing this is because I'm financing was called myself what's called a window recovery network and what that is Mike is going to be across this country I have vetted over thirty five hundred faith based treatment centers which you're gonna come to this website and you're gonna put in your age and your addiction well so like a twenty two year old over the might not relate to a fifty year old meth addict right well what you do is you put that in all the stories we've been gathered for the last year the stories of their their whole matches what what it is or the commonality of the drug right and so you put down we don't see a crack addict what I didn't like about the drug I do like being paranoid peeking out windows I like always trying to find baking soda or or going to get done by a spoon in the middle of the night and as for now the attic because while he was just like me right now shows George the network the Lindell recovery network basically pairs people or put well next people who they can relate to sort of and they're saying well you're yeah you're looking at that for now you get the trust fund but those pictures that they're not saying how they got you know how they got done in freed run but they do you see one after another you're seeing that now I come on the web is she all those people Hey guys here's your help and I have that a thirty five hundred centers that work and that's your celebration arms your team challenges all the so now I'm gonna tell the attic here you go and I'm gonna do a sales pitch to the alley not to the family and Shane McMahon right you know your deductions and the record of the I'm I'm I'm directly that I can know what it is not a disease is worn from childhood fatherlessness trauma he said you guys you go in here and I'm gonna talk to miss a you know just like you would go for a you know because a lot of our free to go that long a time period to try to get help and also you know what how long would you go to be a carpenter bee an apprentice an apprenticeship on life so then you get in there and then I'm gonna tell me you know what when you get out I'm gonna be there for you we're going to have jobs and I said I'm gonna help mentors for you these are paid mentor standards careers they're going to mentor them directly when they get out and then here we're gonna have an out but I have this self were is for relapse trigger one match so let's say that I come out in my kids are still alive you know there's there's still have they don't trust me well that hurts me maybe my mentored enough kids no I put in the out there twenty four seven this guy that had kids and he made it through he comes on and then you have a commonality of a relapse trigger and that just talk she had a great town and he gets to it he is saved his heart gives restored this is going to change this country and this goes back to where the president when it when it when he when I talk way back I told you about we were talking about the addiction right often and his new opium pill that I was there when he signed the plugs right into the marsh it does well amazing how you're going to happen in your working tirelessly on this and this is why you got a pre order his book and and again what a great title again repeated well what are the odds from crack alley to see what are the odds from crack addict to see here when you have a chance to pre order to help promote the heck out of it it'll be about two weeks out pre order it because that'll help get the ball rolling because all the proceeds go to go to go then dealt out with recovery network right here's a here's at once you hear this text Mr Lindell is a text on the my pillow text line which because you sponsor tax line at eight hundred six five five Mike I mean I'm gonna get I'm gonna get the need get get my pillows logo tattooed on my back and I am I would not be a good tattoo guy but look here's this text message on the my pillow text line Hey Mister Lindell I hope you're having a great day I want you to know you're a big inspiration to me I've been clean and sober for about a year for my cocaine addiction my beautiful girlfriend and I are about to celebrate our one year anniversary I can't wait to be able to order a set of pillows for us to share just a couple more paychecks and after the bills get paid will be placing an order and more Mara wants to thank you too for talking about your your your recovery Mara she had a Michael dell here on the Mike Gallagher show welcome welcome oh oh yeah thank you thank you Mister Lundy thank you for your mentioning recovery all the "We have a high wind warning from seven pm tonight through seven pm tomorrow. That's a lot big big time winds how. Yeah. The worst of it does come tonight and tomorrow. That's when the winds really pick up gusts to is high as maybe fifty or fifty five miles an hour. Can't even rule out. So Gus near sixty miles an hour. So it's going to be very windy tonight. And tomorrow out ahead of it today. It's going to be a quieter by comparison or seeing the rain starting to taper off out. There will be a rather damp day cloudy with some drizzle, even lingering after the rain tapers off high forty four and here come the winds this evening, it'll dry us out. But it will also blow around some objects bring down some tree limbs. Power lines slow thirty tonight. Tomorrow's high thirty one partly sunny. The winds back off for Tuesday. Still a light breeze out there but cold twenty four partly sunny twenty four partly sunny Wednesday as well and then into the mid thirty s on Thursday with partly sunny skies. So it looks like it's a rather dry forecasts after today, but the wind gets going tonight in it blows all of tomorrow. Wow. Now, what what causes the big wins like this to occur? It really happens. When when when you're between, a strong area of low pressure had a strong area of high pressure that difference in pressure between the the nice high pressure system and the storm the low pressure system kicks up the wind, and that's where we're at over the next thirty six hours. You know, we all should have our own family meteorologist, we have our family, doctor, right? We don't you think we should have our family meteorologists. Yeah. That that would be good for business. If if everyone needed a meteorologist, you can have an office, we'd go we have to sit in the waiting room for Nicole Elkin mister Gallagher, and then I can make you wait at least thirty minutes. Insurance. Whether insurance and Mr. dagger within re re recite the forecast for you. Then I take some nice vacations every year. This sounds good your family meteorologist all right Bill. Thank you. We'll check back later. All right. Sounds good. All righty. It's eight twenty three right now. So Brealey be careful with a high winds because they can't be downright nasty. Okay. Downright nasty. I.

"It's the Glenn Beck program right here on five seventy K L I F. It's eight seventeen right now. This is really interesting. I think according to a new survey nearly thirty million Americans are hiding a checking account a savings account or credit card account from their spouse or live in partner, you'll be technical about thirty million committing financial infidelity. And joining us now to talk about is author an ethics expert Chuck Gallagher. He's got a book titled every choice has a consequence. Good morning mister Gallagher. Good morning. How are you today? I'm just fine. I find this fascinating. Because I've got I've got some relationship experience experience. I've been married twice. I don't know that this was ever a problem if it was in either one of my marriages, I don't know anything about it. But it occurs to me that while on one hand, and I think this is interesting in the survey that you you cite more than half. The people responding say financial infidelity is just as bad as cheating physically on spouse. And yet. I think we kind of understand these days when people get married they're not joining making one life out of to you're still two individuals with your own lives and just decided to share it. So so tell us more about about this. Well, you know, first thing you started with is it can be as devastating as physical infidelity. And it's not because of the money it's because of the issue of trust. But you're right in what you said the world we live in today. People are getting married later or in second marriages. And once someone has experienced I'm gonna call it an angel freedom or independence. It's sometimes then becomes very difficult. When you combine to lives to assume yours mine, everything is ours. Different generations. Very differently. How many people? Hi debt from spouse. And is this the same kind of thing. Well, it's it is it's not so much that I'm hiding checking account perhaps or have a savings account or a little money squirrelled away. The question is can you be financially transparent? So I might hide fully or I might hide debt or credit cards. But again, the the primary issue becomes win the to become a we is we really meaning total transparency when it comes to money. And the fascinating thing about the study is when you look at the millennial generation, they tend to be more independent and secondarily, it's you also find it in an older generation, especially if there has been a death of a spouse in a reverse mortgage other seventy nine, and I will tell you my stepfather has clue about most of what she has. And she. She thinks he's a financial bozo. I had I had a friend once who who shared with me the fact that every every year when it came time to file taxes, her husband prepared the taxes, they filed jointly, and when it came time for her to sign the ten forty he would cover up all the numbers. So she had no idea how much money she he made. And I thought that was that was rather extreme I've never heard a case like that. No, I haven't either and and as a past CPA tax partner for. That's a little a little overt. If you're trying to keep it in your just covering it up. I think from the other perspective, I would ask myself the question, if I'm signing return, accepting liability. What am I signing might be a slightly different issue? Even though it still comes into the same category. Now, it seems to me that the best thing for people to do is to talk about this as they're getting deeper into their relationship and you start talking about being married or living together. This is something that should be easily discussed before it becomes a problem. I agree. One hundred percent. It's almost like you find three types of couples. Oh my gosh. Following it? Was would this kind of heavenly bliss or? Millennial on thirty five. I made my first really serious relationship. I've been independent my has been independent, and we talk about it or the third one which can be devastating to the relationship is everybody thinks they've talked about it, but their secrets and that breaks trust just like physical infidelity and breaking trust does tend to destroy relationships. You've been able to determine why people do this why they're squirreling away money secretly are. They spending it in some nefarious means or are they saving in case they need to escape the relationship or what? Well, sometimes it's it's the. What do we call the lack of full commitment to the relationship or the inability and some people have this the ability to be fully transparent on the front end. That's that old adage what you don't know won't hurt me. So you find people that will set aside prepare for the quote, rainy day, or the possibility seems one workout which does question. What is the true commitment to that relationship on the front it? On the other hand. I would guess that. There are also relationships where one partner is more likely to spend money frivolously, and just you know, throw it all away without thinking of the future. And so you can have the other partner saying, well, I can't I can't seem to get him to understand that we need to save money or invest for the future. So I'm going to do it instead. Absolutely. And in the perfect relationship. Perfect in a great relationships. My daughter and son-in-law perfect examples buried later in life. He was actually independent shoes. Financially independent. So they breed upside they would create the joint account for joining expenses. Such as the house payment utilities etcetera. Otherwise, a he has an account shoot has an account LA. They did it because they wanted to be able to make decisions without having to get quote approval from someone else. Glib long enough that they didn't feel like approval was something that was part of a relationship that they wanted to be I love that. It reminds me of probably the most famous passage from the prophet by Khalil Gibran is so many people use this passage in their in their marriage. And that is let there be spaces in your togetherness as long as you talk about that. And you agree that this is the way relationship is going to go. Everybody should be perfectly happy. Absolutely. And your book is every choice has consequence. What does that mean? Well, every choice we make does have a consequence could be positive or negative. I referred to the fact that I was a CPA back in the eighties quite successful. But I made stupid choices which ended up in federal prison that is not a positive place to be. Of course, I've lost my licenses to CPA, but a decade following my release was a senior VP at a public company, and I'm a VP and a public company today. So the choices we make we'll create the future that we live. And I talk often about our history does not create our destiny. Well, you're certainly living proof of that. Congratulations. And thank you very much for your time. This morning. It's been my pleasure. Chuck Gallagher, author an ethics expert, and as you can hear a lot of that from personal experience. And again, the book is called every choice has a consequence. Eight twenty five right now KLIF it's time to check that traffic.

We figure we've got the insurance will cover the money, and we don't want to have a scene because we could get sued if he throws a fit or there's a violent or whatever. So they let him go. I mean, he left and the Bank is kind of forget that. Now, I'm gonna spend the rest of my years.
