Could you just react to the idea of an American president going to another nation in a war zone albeit like Kyiv and Ukraine at a time when politics is so divisive at home and people are suffering in the east Palestine, Ohio. What are the presidential optics of this like? I have to say, and you and your listeners would know, I tended to be highly critical of this president, but I think he was right to go. And I commend him for going. I think it is hyperbole to compare it to the most publicized visits of president Kennedy and president Reagan to western Berlin. And they were outstanding speakers and mister Biden is not. But I think I would defend him on the charge of going there when there are bad things in the United States and I think it's a scandal that he has not gone to east Palestine, Ohio. But you can do both, you know. But on president's day on premises, is there something a little bit piquant about him going on president's day? I thought that was maybe I'm being naive, but I thought that was more or less of an accent. I mean, it just a scheduling thing. The fact that he went on president's day, I wouldn't read a great deal into that. I mean, it's as good a day as any other to go. And there's no reason that a president can't be out of the country on that day. And presidents do travel and part of their mandate is to uphold the American position in the world and defend American national interests in the world. And

"Always appreciate your analysis because you have the perspective as a news analyst and the background as a lawyer to help make sense of some of these things. I want to talk about something with you that I set up the last hour and that has to do with Hunter Biden's legal team and some letters that they've been sending out this week concerning that laptop that they're still not admitting is his. That's the first part that I found interesting. They're on a full frontal assault, but not admitting it's his. How did you react to some of these reports? I think the same way you did in the same way the readers did is the first letter, the 14th page letter was very clear about complaining about compromising mister Biden's personal data, circulating it, sharing it with people that had no right to see it, et cetera. And then the second letter seemed to suggest and that the first letter shouldn't be interpreted as we all interpreted. The second letter basically said, we're not agreeing that it's his. Now obviously nobody's on the road. This isn't testimony. This is, as you pointed, a full frontal assault, taking the offensive by the lawyers, but everyone probably recognizes is they can't have those ways. There's no standing if it's not his laptop. You can't represent someone sort of in the abstract as if I have your property, you know, I shouldn't be able to share it, but I'm not sure I have the property. "The FBI has turned up 6 additional documents with classification markings at the president's Wilmington Delaware home. CBS News White House correspondent Stephen portnoy with more. The Friday search of the president's Wilmington home lasted longer than 12 hours, and mister Biden's personal lawyer says it was kept a secret from the public at the Justice Department's request. The attorney says federal investigators found 6 more documents with classified markings. We're told some of the papers date back to mister Biden's time as a senator, and that authorities also took handwritten notes dating to his time as vice president. "The biggest news story overnight. It was revealed in garage gate that the Department of Justice and the FBI considered but rejected a role in searching for Joe Biden's documents. I'm shocked, shocked that the FBI didn't want to go to Joe Biden's house for the warrant. Just to make sure the Justice Department considered having FBI agents monitor a search by President Biden's lawyer for classified documents at homes at his homes, but decided against it. Both to avoid complicating later stages of the investigation and because mister Biden's attorneys had quickly turned over a first batch, and were cooperating, according to people familiar with the matter. Now, do you think anybody else in the world gets that? Oh, I've given you everything you need. We looked that. We found some more, but don't worry, there's nothing else. Ah. Third batch of documents. "I've got to get to this investigation of President Biden, the attorney general announcing that news yesterday. My question is, where is the FBI here? And why have they not raided or at least searched the homes of Joe Biden? And how do we know there are not more documents out there? No, I think that's sort of the fundamental question that Americans kind of step back and look like. The secretary Clinton mishandled classified Doc, Joe Biden is single classified docs, but the only home who gets rated is president Trump, who, by the way, as president is the ultimate authority, the ultimate say on what's classified and what's not. And was actually working with the administration, the Biden administration and the Justice Department prior to them right in his home. So yes, double share. But the real question I have Todd is, why were they looking? What prompted them to go look? I mean, it's not like this just happened. Yes, those documents have been, you know, he's been out of office out of the vice president's office for 6 years. So why did they go look here in they found them on November 2nd? Was it the, some have speculated it was the archives, the national archives who said to The White House, oh, there's some documents that we should have that mister Biden checked out or kept or has. "For candidates on the road. Mister Biden was at buoy state university to show his support for democratic candidate for Maryland governor Wes Moore. If he wins more would be the state's first ever black governor. During his speech, the president took aim at the GOP candidates that have continued to raise doubts about the results of the 2020 election. This morning Pamela wood, a reporter with the Baltimore banner, covered that rally. President Biden was full of praise for Wes Moore, he called him the real deal and went through his accolades and bona fides that he's a Rhodes scholar, a nonprofit leader, and President Biden said that, you know, Wes Moore is the person to lead Maryland in this moment. And he, of course, as expected took a dim view of Republican candidate Dan Cox pointed out that he is an election conspiracy theorist and said that it's not patriotic to not want to support the outcome of a fair election. And what else did mister Biden have to say about the election in general, his overarching theme sounds similar to what we've been hearing from him in recent days? President Biden told the crowd at buoy state university that he's optimistic and that Democrats are the right choice to move the nation forward and that Republicans will take the nation backwards, you know, banning access to abortion care, cutting social security and Medicare, really the themes we've heard from President Biden throughout and he encouraged people to go out and vote and of course vote democratic is what he wanted them to do. Why Were We Able to Know the Winner of the 2016 Election in Hours?
"On earth then were we able to know the winner of the 2016 presidential election within hours? Why is it that we were able to know that Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton with Pennsylvania, Ohio, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida and Arizona, having enough ballots be counted so what is different about 2016 versus 2020 versus 2022. What's the difference exactly? Oh, the difference is that they changed some of the laws. And they changed some of the procedures because they never want 2016 to happen again. You see, in 2008, 2012 and 16 presidential elections, we know who wins on election night. We know who wins and we see how they're doing and that kind of orderly necessary process of I lost this person is the next president or whatever is very important. It's healthy. So why is it that 6 years later, we're moving backwards. So we can know Donald Trump won the presidency on election night in 2016. Why were we able to count those ballots mister Biden orderly and mannerly and in an organized fashion in 2016, but we can't do it in 2022. Executive director in Arizona of Maricopa County said here is the canvas schedule. The canvas schedule is early ballots will be posted on the evening of November 8th at 8 p.m.. A jury has found a Virginia man guilty of killing a decorated military couple and fairfax county. Ronnie Marshall, who was then 20 years old, had worked with the victim's son at FedEx. Days before Marshall killed Edward mcdaniel junior at army colonel and doctor and his wife Brenda, a retired army colonel and a nurse. Marshall broke into the family's home where Edward mcdaniel confronted him with a shotgun in order him to leave. But Marshall came back two days later and killed the couple because he didn't want them to identify him to police. The McDaniels were found shot to death in the driveway of their home in Springfield. Marshall faces up to life in prison when he sends February 24th. Japan's Ministry of Defense initially reported that a North Korean missile had flown over Japanese territory, later though he said the projectile had actually disappeared over the sea of Japan. Emergency warnings sounded across north central Japan, but the country's defense minister later said the latest round of North Korean missile launches had not flown over Japanese territory. "Talk about something in particular, a New York Times article that was recently put out, titled an age, 79. Biden is testing the boundaries of age and the presidency. Much like with the COVID narrative, everything that we say becomes fact in about two years. So everything we're saying now on the right about any given subject matter. In about two years, you can be rest assured that the political left will be using those as talking points and not crediting us or taking accountability for everything that they've said that goes against actual reality. So I want to get into this article because apparently now The New York Times is becoming aware of Biden's age. It might be through all the gaffes that he's having on television might be from falling off his bicycle, and I in no way want to cheer this on gleefully as the article writes that we conservatives do. But let's read from this and see what we have to say. Just a year and a half into his first term. Mister Biden is already more than a year older than Ronald Reagan was at the end of two terms. If he mounts another campaign in 2024, mister Biden would be asking the country to elect a leader who would be 86 at the end of his tenure, testing the boundaries of age and the presidency.
