College Football Bets: Week 1
"On. Espn dot com chuck section. I've given them out daily wager. But you know we'll rip through a few here i want to start with. Ecu this numbers come down a little bit. They play thursday night against appalachian state and look. I think he's us live dog. Jay vermont talked about it as well. They have a bunch of veterans including senior quarterback and app. State's been a little shaky as well. And they have a new quarterback and chase. Bryce you might remember him. He played a key. Clemson then transferred to duke ten and a half a lot of points for team that always seems to pull games out of the hat and have crazy place at the end. I like myself getting double digits plus ten right now but still i would out jumping on on ec as long as you get double digits and maybe a little sprinkle on the money line. That could be some fun The came by actually liked the most Kinda scared about it and it's umass and everybody who listen to pod on a somewhat regular basis knows. I'm kind of the betting bully as humans. A frequent guest. Your calls me. I like to bet on bet against bad teams. Just just do it right. Like orioles season win total under. I've certainly bet against umass in the past but thirty eight is just way too many points. And i'll tell you why won't bell and umass went out and got a bunch of transfers. Their quarterback is a six foot five inch from from colorado like the university of and or colorado university of boulder. And they have two running backs that transferred in one from rutgers. So a team that was like. Fcs not too long ago or fcs quality has some real players and you only have to get thirty eight now pits good. But they're at tennessee. The following week nerd uzis not a guy who's going to run up the score. He's old school. Fourth quarter they'll bring in the is a little bit and on top of that. Probably the best handy angle. I have is the offense coordinator for pit is a guy named mark whipple. He's coached umass twice head coach. Also the most recent time was just a few years ago. This is not situation where he wants to embarrass his former program. Umass is a special place in his heart. Whipple's going to call off the dogs as well. So i just think if you can get about two touchdowns even if it's garbage time i think plus thirty eight is the play in. That game is crazy. As it sounds another game. I like is essentially a coin. Flip game and it syracuse minus one. And a half. you might remember. I've talked about it with jay motto. The over three in the win total. They're going to split time at quarterback. Babies made that announcement. I don't love it. I would prefer. Tommy devito to be the entire time but dual threat with michigan state. Sorry mississippi state transfer garrett schrader. They're just better at a lot of positions that ohio but most importantly syracuse addressed. Their offense align issues. There was a pathetic. Offense couldn't even average average about two hundred fifty yards per game. Not passing just total yards per game. The veto would be injured. A lot spent a lot of time on his back. If they're okay on the offensive line this is just a syracuse team. That's just better. No more frank. Solich at ohio. Bob cats will rotate. Quarterbacks curtis rourke. Who's obviously the brother of nathan rourke the former stud bob cats quarterback and then armani rogers transfer from unlv. Ohio's very good. They looked good last year against the too bad teams really bad teams in the mac akron bowling green. But i think use gets there which is better talent especially with vito healthy and maybe we hope and improved offensive line. Fourth play i want to talk about

"Was the athletic director at vanderbilt candice story lee when she issued a public statement which we shared with you earlier which brought this to light for. The first time. Clinton had tweeted something. But there's a big difference between a reporter tweeting something in the athletic director of the university in question making a public statement so i. Source - Florida Gators OC Brian Johnson to coach Philadelphia Eagles QBs
"Hired a quarterback coach today by the name of Brian Johnson. And he was there or get your for the Giants in the Stanford quarterback. Totally different guy guy. Shame. He was a quarterback on the Utah football team in like 2007 or 2000, and they beat Alabama in the Sugar Bowl. He was the quarterback, and he actually called the plays. And they finished number two in the country. So I was working in solid state at the time and running a station and doing a morning show and he graduated, and I offered him a gig as a radio talk show host. And after contemplating and doing a few shows, he decided this isn't for me, and he got into coaching so long story short. He was at Mississippi State. He coached Dak Prescott. He was the offensive coordinator Florida Florida most recently and then he just got out in the NFL. By the Eagles is their quarterback coach. Had he accepted that job that I had offered him in radio all those years ago, he would be starving still in eating Macarena, but he made a tremendous decision. Got into coaching, and now he's the quarterback coach of the Eagles, and he probably wouldn't take my call.

Some of that veteran leadership would help them through this. This stretch of playing four teams ranked in the top 15. Thought that experience paid off there a the end. After the five second call, your team felt like they stayed composed and into the overtime. When they fell down. They stayed even killed and they just rode the wave to the end of the game. I thought that veteran leadership really showed up today. Right, Ron Howard. Um,.

"Then fumbled on their next possession that led to another case day touchdown then it's now thirty, five, twenty, eight. Then Oklahoma on the next drive is punting have a pie maybe it was an extra made with two drives can't remember. Oklahoma then had a punt blocked. That put really good field possession for K. State. They scored another touchdown with thirty, five, thirty, five and eight minutes left in the game tie game and you'd think, well, Hey, no worry tie game shirts ugly. But well, Oklahoma scores it will had they've been doing really well, all game. Yeah. Couple miscues Oklahoma's GONNA. Be totally fine. But by that point, you're missing your center. The offense was really struggling pressure kept getting Home Dispenser Rattler. And then even when Oklahoma did success on offense. They had multiple times a just penalties pulled them back not to mention on a fourth and one they went for that a quarterback sneak part of the problem was a new center where I'm sure that Spencer rather who's almost never under center probably never got under center snaps from the backup center. On fourth and when it's kind of weird. Fourth in one year Oklahoma. You're known for your crazy. Creative offense. I was disappointed watching Oklahoma going why on fourth and one is your play call a quarterback sneak year okay. Ohama your Lincoln Riley. You're the most creative innovative offensive coach the entire country. That's your best play call in fourth and one. I don't believe that it's not true. I was very disappointed that fourth and one call. But Oklahoma by the way they didn't get the fourth down. And I now the final nail in the coffin guest for Oklahoma and Spencer. Rattler. was that. His third interception was a bad throw high. High in behind his receiver running to the right. and. That's a holcomb elastic state. They just kind of blew the Game Wide Open the coaching failures. Defensive blown assignments office, of line was struggling Spencer Rather, mis-throw Spencer Rattler by the way has like. The craziest best and college football for him to miss throw like that. It's pretty mind blowing and out now moving forward I gotTA. Say. For Oklahoma, I still feel really good about their quarterback, Spencer Rattler Spencer out a star quarterback as talent is undeniable. He's one of the. Premier quarterbacks in college football I think he has probably the best arm talent in college football and it's not just armed. He makes good decisions. He despite three interceptions sound really bad one wasn't his fault one, the role and the other was just a great play by the defense I go. Okay. Three probably should have been one and I mean he has plays where. He steps up extends play and I think as you watch Oklahoma throughout the year they're learning with the new quarterback his first year they're gonNA learn that. Okay. Oklahoma. Oklahoma's got extended. Play a little bit more. Probably roll out to the right to left get spencer rather outside of the pocket especially with her office a line really struggling they are the right tackle. The right what other tackles really was not doing I. Don't know why I can't remember it but I don't WanNa say the wrong one they had a tackle who's a big concern on the line, and now Oklahoma's defense is also..

"Player after player after player I just I feel so bad for them by the way the new Lsu quarterback. Miles Brennan. Oh boy. There's a reason the miles Brennan was on the bench years. Kind of the biggest thing sticks out first of all miles Brennan. Terrible. Throws, he's got a pretty good arm, but attention to detail is just kind of lacking thing when you watch Joe Burrow. Partway Joe Borough was so good with is insane attention to detail you could tell. During. The offseason moments that are not during practice, he was working with his receivers learning how to have perfect chemistry with them. And he kind of will the into existence we're Joe said I'm going to do so much work me and these guys are going to be exactly in rhythm when I'm rolling to the right they're going to know where to go where to come back to all things like that. The attention to detail just isn't there with. Miles Brennan it's hard to watch these bad against the blitz. He's really bad outside of structure again, not terrible has a solid arm, but it's not very fun to watch because he's just not jill borough. He's a very typical lsu quarterback a guy from the south that is just tall has good arm and Is Very. Average A. It's just not a lot of fun to watch Lsu. Now I do want to say every time I talk about Lsu try to point this out. I absolutely. Love lsu Stadium Valley I. Hope I can go to a game there. Someday I WANNA take my girlfriend have a ton of fun. But I also got to say I, fear that. Losing to Mississippi State is just the beginning. Of was going to be a really tough year for lsu because there are simply not the same thing they were last year and. They're, GONNA couple Games 'cause they're got some talent and their lsu but I just. I don't feel good Lsu moving forward I think this was actually a sign of things to come. The way they lost to Mississippi State Week one of their college football season. Now. Did Anybody Watch the Texas versus Texas Tech? Game on Saturday it was crazy Texas one in overtime sixty, three to fifty six. Here's the crazy part Texas was actually down..

"On the ball drive the ball better downfield that this core with his legs. That's what I WANNA see eventually down the road from contrast as well as throughout the rest of this year. He's got to continue show NFL habits with accuracy with timing with decision making. But everything I saw on Saturday man it's almost I went. Wow Kyle trask. That is really really exciting. Really cool stuff and I don't want to write about even though I don't love Kyle trask. His arm strength and his arm talent is pretty average. The habits are there and so I don't want to write him off yet even though I'm not in love with his ability to drive the ball downfield. Now on Saturday another game happened on Saturday Mississippi State beat Lsu. And it was pretty cool. Mike Leach got his first win. For. The bulldogs as the MSU head coach, I don't know if they call them that I know they say like Stark Vegas and I I WANNA say Msu a couple of times I. Know It's Mississippi State. I. Don't know what they call them there and Zippy I'm not from Mississippi. But I guess two things stood out to me were. Number One Mississippi State quarterback K. J. Costello had two hundred what am I saying six, hundred, six, hundred and twenty three yards passing five touchdowns, two interceptions and? WHAT'S NOT GONNA show up in the sat book honestly to at the end of the game is that. He overcame a lot. From Mississippi State's offense Mississippi state kind of struggled with their centers having problems snapping the ball literally there missed assignments on the offensive line guys kept coming free multiple months ready to step up in the pocket and trying to make a play. And there are also a number of dropped passes and you gotTa give credit because Cagey Costello really could have had like he could seven hundred yards passing if his team had executed everything properly. The Do deserves a lot of credit for his poise and for overcoming.

He treats the media like they're his friend and I I don't know if I don't really consider myself part of the media because I try to be I, consider myself a storyteller even though it's not quite true. But, let me tell you the people at a press conference after a game are not your friend the people conducting those interviews, writing stories Monday morning, the Sunday, the NFL game in New York especially. Do not help them they. They will burn you for money in an instant. The first question of the day, for Sam, darnold was. You had three interceptions take me through those three interceptions. It's don't answer that your answer should be some form of a f you know and instead for some reason. Sam Darnold did he took them through every single interception and I'm watching thinking stop talking? Stop talking. Holy Cannoli, he's still talking looking at my dad down watching dealer Mike Sam stop talking shut up dude. And I've said before that. The only reason the jets should draft a quarterback in the upcoming draft is if they believe they need to replace Sam darnold because. His spirit is broken or confidence is just completely shot. And in that press conference Sam darnold looked. I don't know. We'll see how the goes on and that post game press conference he looked beaten dejected and lost. And I'm sitting my dad and I were watching this and I'm looking at my dad and wondering like. Where Sam Darnold Dad whereas this dudes father? What's happening here? Why is nobody helping Sam darnold like I mean the jets media PR team is just Failing him horribly, why is no one ushering out of the room telling him to shut up say a little bit less at a press conference I don't understand. I just oh my gosh. You know what? Sam Darnold has problems but You Watch. The dude play football his talent is undeniable. He looks a lot like you did at USC where Sam is really good and he'll elevate your team a little bit but he's got some game break like watch watch Ohio state whereas USC when I was in college. There's bad throat. There's an ugly interceptions. Yes. Still see that couple years out of college It's like, Okay Sam's got to get better at some point. But. It still makes me sad to feel like Sam darnold development is a massive missed opportunity where the guy has the talent and he's never had a good team around him and he's never had a good coach. You can say, wow, i. feel good about this coach and let's talk about that coach because. I gotTa say first of all, my number one message to. Any young quarterback whether they're in high school college I believe it or not I do talk to some guys that are going to the NFL and I always tell them in avoid a bad program. Avoid a bad organisation avoided bad college football program or an organization or franchise avoid them like the plague because. And this is not just football advice. I guess honestly either. You do not want to work for a dysfunctional station a bad company with bad leadership poorly run. It's not good for you as a human being if you can avoid it, do it now some of US jobs and we can't avoid it, and that's a painful reality of life but if you can do not work for a bad organization. I look at Jonesboro I. Think you'll borough has a better opportunity than Sam Darnold to do..

"The previous record holder was Eric Zaire, who had 544 back in 1993. So that record has been up there for a while. And this just in Texas. Winds they hang on in overtime to be Texas take 63 56 so inspectors holds on holds on They're able to win. A ZAY was kind of just thinking of all the stuff the upsets, and it seems maybe not playing as well as we thought. At first, my mind went to covet. Right, right. These guys maybe have had things disrupted but everybody's hand stuff disruptive. That's what that was. My second thought was like you know what? It's so did Mississippi State. You know, they weren't They didn't live in a covert free world with a new coach. You right? You right? Yeah, right. Which is even more difficult. You know, if you have a new coach is a new system you're not having as much time with the players. So when I look at at least the L s u Mississippi State game, I look at it, Maura, as you know what else you just I didn't play will is didn't play well enough. Then they may not be the team that they've ever seen War last year. They may not be the team. We thought they were, either. That happens a lot in the first week or two of the season. You realize teams at the right time. Maybe shouldn't be right. That time. That happens every year. We'll see if they're one of them. How would you feel right now? If you're one of Texas Tech Red Raiders, though, by the way Walk off this field and losing this game. I mean, I would be Just apoplectic. I would not be ableto buy mine right now are right there. We can spend all day on on that. Thank you for the call. Jordan is in Mississippi. You're on the air. Go right ahead. Hey, Bill other. All know lately, the cause World Series been going on. What do you think about Mississippi State? You think they might win it all? Yeah. I really think the winner of the college World Series will come from either Mississippi State or Vanderbilt, I think those are the those to me look like the teams to be. I what about who you think? When loses bracket, Paul? Well I mean right now. So we're we're looking at we're watching Auburn trailing. So Auburn Auburn loser. They're gone then that would put Louisville against the loser of what the game tonight. I'm trying to. Yeah. So. I don't know. I, I still think to me, there's still like Vanderbilt in Mississippi State or the best teams. What about that game? Whoa. All through that man out at first, that was cool. No all auburn's had some of the worst of possible luck in this college World Series. Gary is in Louisiana HOA. Gary go right ahead. Oh, hey, Paul. How's it going? Gary. It's going great. Thank you. Very much. Good. Hey, listen. I'm a big time Texas Longhorn fan. And I know you love the SEC, and that's great because they are super conference LSU in Texas play October seventh. I believe and I think the winner of that game has a real good chance of making the playoffs. What do you think? Yeah. I mean you're talking about LSU at Texas. I game is September seventh by the way. Oh so timbers excuse me. Yeah. No, that's a. That's a huge game major. Yeah. I agree with you. I don't think the loser is dead. But I think the winner is in superb shape, especially. If you wins that game, I think they have a game to burn quite frankly that because that would be such a big win. LSU has two top ten games on the road against against Alabama and Texas. But listen. I think with Texas. It's just another chance for them to to get back. Geez. Back, by the way. I think they're pretty close. I'm a huge. Tom Herman fan. Do I think he's one of the smartest coaches in the country? And I think they're really close. And I can't Sam Ellen is probably real close to be in the Heisman Trophy guy. Yeah. I think he I think you are. I think you're right about that. Great call. Appreciate wherever we're the break more to come on this program. Again the the game out, no Mahajan rain delay. So we'll let you know, when that goes back and being anytime soon, we'll talk more continuing to reflect back on the history of college football. "So they get some bubble teams that are already out of the tournament, they'll have to wait and see what happens on Monday AM at this point is just waiting to see. But but LSU would be the team that they play later today. It gets Mississippi State trying to get a spot in the semi-final. They, they really are, are the one playing for the most right? I guess is, is what all of that would come to that we just discussed. Yeah. They are there I some feel and I do too. I feel if they beat Mississippi State, who's got one of the heart. Shrink of schedules, and is an RPI number three in the country, if they beat state right here, I think that pretty much solidify that opportunity to host. And look, that's probably the highlight of this tournament game on it went seventeen innings six hours and forty minutes the fans were electric both both schools travel with very good fan bases. And, and now you know what they say about the SEC it just means more that game, the LSU is really being down. Yes. So LSU has had a crazy run here the last few days. So, so two nights ago, they lost in seventeen innings you played, I think his thirteen seasons in the majors. Hannah dish in having played at ole miss, and like a whole lot of people played youth baseball for most of your life. I'm guessing you've probably played more than two thousand baseball games in your life. What was the longest one you've ever played in? I think fourteen innings is long. Yeah. I've never gone seventeen he's definitely never gone six hours and forty, you know, you, you get so point in that game where you're worried about pitching, you don't wanna burn up all your pictures. And at some point you go, well, you know, let's just get this thing over with and go out and get some rest and be ready for tomorrow. And then when you get in the fifteenth and sixty thinning say man as long as we're here we might as well try to win great game. So it was equally tax. You know both teams. Remember LSU had to turn around and they only got about two or three hours of sleep. They had to turn around and play. They came the next day they did really well and one and they got themselves in the spot for revenge tonight. Yes. And that was the next thing. The last thing I want to ask you about is so LSU comes back yesterday after that disappointment of losing in seventeen innings and then they have one of the craziest endings to a game I've ever seen. I know that as far as gut wrenching losses like losing in walk off fashion and a game seven would be worse. But, but as far as just a bad luck loss. Have you ever experienced anything like what happened? Auburn has LSU yesterday never ever seen anything like that in. And that's the beauty of baseball is y'all ways. Learn something new, or you see something you've never seen before and to win a game that's just typical LSU. Magic right? LSU always finds ways whether it's a rally possum, rally bees, or or a ball that the catcher just did not see and accidently kicked it out of the circle behind home plate. It's, it's a symbol of how LSU's your has gone all season long. They've been injury ridden. They bounced that from that it was a game that they were going to lose. And then out of nowhere. The freaky play I've ever seen in my life allows him to stay in turnament. Sometimes it's either little blue pits or plays like that, that can kick start a team that gives them confidence that they didn't have before. I said it in the first hour of the show..

He can't get a shot. So he dribbles out to the left corner. Comes all the way out front to wonder what that passes about. If they catch that pass. You don't get a shot and the chance for turnover. "You know, it's a semester crewman with Mississippi State and two thousand four Vesta Croome. And that's the first thing he told the team, and I took that with me and everybody that's played for may since then can tell you that can tell you that quote, they can tell you about bitch name as they can tell you that there's a hostile in Atlanta Georgia named after him. They can tell you that as a mentor to Martin Luther King. So they can tell you those things about the guy because you have to understand the guy before you can understand what is quote means. And then if you can quit that to your life whatsoever, which I can from the time I was a child, you know, I never never always had the things I needed because of what my parents went out. And did so it wasn't because we were giving anything. So I've never been given anything don't ever expect to be given anything in return for anything that I do, you know? So I kinda have live by that. Ever since live by that, you know, since I was a child, but that kinda put it all into. Meaning when semester, you know, I heard that quote, and so I've used it ever since. And I take it. You've used it on some of your players in past that wisdom onto them. Oh, yeah. Definitely. They're going to get that every year and every year. It's just something. You never know. What who you're gonna fact by something small like that? And I know I was impacted at twenty nine years old. However, I was when I went to Mississippi State, I was impacted twenty twenty seven I'm not sure how it was. But you know, so if I if I went twenty seven twenty eight years and understood the struggles and things like that just in life in general, and then I can take that quote, and quote it to my life and say, hey, this sums me up. And of course, it's gonna mean something to me, but you never know who you're gonna. But what you say. So I've always just said what the minimum say. And if I impact someone Impac someone if everybody can learn from other people if they would just listen and not here. So, you know, it's I mean, you learn just as much from player as you do coaches, you learn just as much from players as you do mentor of sometime. You just have to listen and not here. And sometimes I think we as people have a hard time with that. You talk about learning. What did you learn in two thousand thirteen when you had emergency surgery to repair and Yorick dissection? Well, go back to coach Bryant used to always say hit cost. Absolutely nothing to be nice. Now a lot of things played for coach Brown but played in the nineties. So. Oh, but you know, it costs nothing to be nice. All right. And you know, now that doesn't mean you're not competitive. And that doesn't mean you don't argue, and and you have discussions heated discussion sometimes about things. But at the core, are you a nice person. Are you a good person? And so when that happened in two thousand thirteen you know, I got you know, it's not necessarily, you know, you're not laying there thinking about things you regret doing your thinking about things that you regret not doing. All right. Because you don't know if you ever get a chance to do that. So what I learned is make sure the people around, you know, how you feel about them because I know this. I know I found out how what I meant to a lot of people. So I never wanted that to be reversed. So that's probably the main thing. Oh, always felt like, you know, everybody asked do you have a probation for life? I've always had an appreciation for life. I mean. Growing up the way I did growing up in this business the way I did you have an appreciation for each day of the job. You have an appreciation for life in general. So it never was anything about that. But the human element of things from the standpoint of making sure people know how you feel about him because I know when I was laying there in the hospital people let me know how what I'm into them. And I just wanna make sure I always do that. In return, a hook up the rights and take pictures for your two girls on that helicopter. Right..

"Me. And we will preview some of the weekend's top games in this episode among them Duke far to state omiss, Mississippi State at first Marcus our but a great week for incredible individual performances on Tuesday nights. Williamson became the only division player in the past twenty years to post a line with thirty points, ten rebounds, five assistant four steals while shooting at least eighty percent from the field, historically, great performance. So we lead Wednesday mornings podcast with that. Then on Wednesday night. Marcus Howard, fifty three points a win at Creighton wild game on CBS sports network. Creighton just gave it away. The Blue Jays were up three with the ball with less than a second to play. It's basically impossible to lose in that situation. But Creighton threw the ball at bounced reasons, I'll never understand in Sam Houser at the buzzer to force overtime, Marcus are going or capital when Marquette wins at one. Zero six one zero four improves to thirteen and three Marcus Howard finish. It's fifteen or twenty six from the field ten of fourteen from three fifty three points when you combine that fifty three point performance with fifty two point performance from last season. Marcus Howard on Wednesday night became the first division. One player to score fifty and multiple games in the past twenty season. So Zion was historic on Tuesday than Marcus was historic on Wednesday norlander, please express your love and appreciation for Marquette's Marcus, our and what he did in Omaha somewhere in middleman. That's right somewhere out there in middle America. This is not Marcus Howard and our Finnity for him. Is nothing new to the pod. Of course, going back to the the rouse. E Andrew aroused as we were given we're giving love to the market back. Razzie is now moved on, of course. And how're continues to play. So well in just for perspective. I think we brought up on the previous podcast that Zion. Williamson is the front runner for player of the year. That's still the case. I mentioned his player efficiency rating was forty three point one. Well, Marcus, our it's been awesome. This year his PR is twenty eight. So just give you a little bit of insight, and that's for someone who is terrific three-point shooter disturbing. Well, getting some rebounds right now Howard is averaging twenty five point eight points, four point three assists, three point, eight rebounds. And doing not doing it all from our? I mean, he's their star. They've got some other good players. And by the way, the house are three pointer should not have counted. It was I think. I can't remember the real time maybe from being the studio. But I think they counted it in real time. And they concluded that the visual evidence was not conclusive enough to overturn the call. But I thought on video and then particularly after the fact which officials don't have access to some snapshots by photographers on hand. There showed that the ball had not left his hand as time expired. Creighton should've cutting that win Marquette instead gets the victory there. It's a big time win for them. Get a nice little road win. And Howard right now is easily top five I would say top three player of the year race overall. I would clearly put him in that position. But of course, it helps when you're on a on a top twenty five team that's able to get wins like that that was a significant one. I don't think you can overstate that. Because Creighton had no business losing it. Marquette pulls it out and shockingly the most points ever in a big by a big player period..

"Congratulations. Good luck this weekend. Man. Thank you. All right. So coach Davis got a great win against Auburn. But your point coach right off the bat. You got to put that in the rear view mirror because they're going on the road at Mississippi State to take on a really good bulldog team on Saturday. So let's make some picks. And let's start with that one. What do you think going gonna win that one interesting game because the strength of omiss is a lot of ways to strength of Mississippi State. You're talking about a veteran backward. Lamar Peter's pair weatherspoon's Quinn Darien Nick that place will be rocket episode of game is elevated it's become a bigger game. With miss having the success in Michigan state. I mean, it's just me. Mississippi State come enough that law, South Carolina. Obviously, not a good thing. I'm gonna go with Mississippi State on the road in a very physical game. I think they got a little bit better depth over on, you know, cover. Davis was talking about that. And the bench play of Mississippi State is really good. I think it's gonna be really good basketball game close game. And I think at home you can hit us bells know, the Seattle's ringing and all that stuff. It'll be tough Puffer for this to win that game on road. Yeah. They're not winning need more cowbell. You know, I like Mississippi State. I will say man, what a great what a great resurrection for the state of Mississippi. Not only do you have two guys that can coach and get winning teams. But you got to recognizable guys. Right. I mean, it's not and you got you know, two guys one has been to the final four numerous times three times has been Holland. And then the other guy Kermit everybody remembers him beat Michigan state, and I don't think that Mississippi maybe next year year after but I don't think they're ready to go in there. Mississippi states playing too well Benz two good coats. It'll be too tough to freshman. Really good team. I think okay man when I watched last night, I looked like Duke and Florida state bowl tournament teams. But now, you'll Florida state's trying to say we belong in that upper echelon of the ACC Virginia by fifty okay. What they've got a chance to rectify that situation at home against the number one team in the country on ESPN Saturday at two o'clock, doc, I would I was. Surprised? I think that the Mississippi Mississippi State game might be arrack fight. But I'm not sure this one is a look until further notice nobody has been more. Well, maybe people have. But I've really liked her are really like Leonard Hamilton. I really like Leonard Hamilton team. But Seth to your point. Look, I don't think that I think Virginia's really good. And I, but I don't think Virginia's athletically where they should be able to come into your place and beat you so badly like they did against Florida state so up until further notice, I'm going to take less Savoy, loses his mind, I'm gonna take Florida state getting beat and Florida state getting beat by double digits now, you know, guy makes shot co for maybe all that athletes stuff today, they fine but Dame you can't lose by one hundred ten that was at that was advocate. I'm sorry. It was at for genius change. Yeah. Yeah. But I'm watching the news never a game. Never a game. What do you qualify? First of all this is not your father's Virginia team. They are long in athletic games. A little bit better. Guess quite you can you want..
