G7 Nations to Pledge 1B Vaccine Doses for World
"Look at some of the other themes from the g. Seven summit beyond the johnson biden relationship and brexit. I think the big policy announcement george. We've about shaving vaccines with the words. Of pledging won't billion jobs how significant is this. What is significant. It's welcoming certainly listen to some of the The aid organizations medical charities. They say it's not enough. Misses a pledge which is being rolled out over the next year. Some people say they'd like to live it by the end of twenty one. But i think it is significant a big picture that g seven is an attempt by the west to show that they can deliver full the developing world that they can show leadership and talk about voting. Sometimes there's real concern in some of the western capitals china and russia in particular using vaccine's as a way of extending their influence into the developing world offering jobs with strings attached as anthony blinken. Us sexiest puts it over the course of this kind of expect to see the make pledges on tackling climate change poverty alleviation generally. So it's an important step of for seven off the four years of effective paralysis while trump was the president of the west getting together and trying to do things.

Video Game Fest E3 Kicks off With Starfield, Elden Ring Teasers
"We kind of kicked off the holy three week. This morning jet lease summer games kickoff. Live happened was followed by an hour long day of the deaths presentation and we did prepo shows all around that so was lots of talk about Going to be a great show will definitely talk about the death surrendering director's cut. Definitely die out. Tiny tina's wonderland's but first let's begin with l. During which was finally finally for all the souls weren't fans out there that have been dying information on this game. When news is old eld l. Escape was revealed at the microsoft press conference. I think at the last three twenty team and the the fan community for elden elden ring has taken it upon themselves. To just basically invented a bunch of laura on their own Love it very cool but now now they don't have to do that anymore. Their work is done and we know what the game is. And it looks it. Looks like looks like dark souls game yes jeff. Goldblum mean when. It's no secret that most of us aren't here like a souls born fans. But i think this game looks awesome and as amazing creature and character world designed just like all these games do and just like i was set grow i will. I will absolutely dive in and make it as far as i can. I mean like from from soft like yes shirt like. I don't need to be a fan of the style of game like appreciate what that companies accomplished in like the direction that they've pushed video games over the last decade and it has been so long since that company missed like. Oh yeah you know. Even souls two and three i don't think are quite as revered as the original like sacramento and especially bloodborne like a lot of people that was their game of the generation and they haven't released a game in three years like elden ring is a the next one. It's their next big thing like it's not a it's not a bt working on it it's like this is the game that zaky's been making for years now and so i definitely understand like the hype and the froth demand for this one.
Liberal Tries Defending the Media on Missing Major Scandals
"How is it that they keep screwing stuff up? I mean, we've had these major stories. Now we don't know the lab leak story to be absolutely true. I want to be clear, but the evidence is piling up that that is the most. Right now. The most likely theory is the lab. Lee. How does the media keep getting these stories wrong? You had the hunter Biden story, which, regardless of your feelings about Joe Biden, the hunter Biden computer stories real. There's an FBI case number. I read it on the air. Uh, you know, the spy gate story. You call it a hoax? All your mom. We know the name of the actual spy. I don't care what you call him an undocumented surveillance, whatever euphemism he used It's real. We have the guy's name. He's not running from it. So we have spy gate. The Hunter's story. The Wuhan lab Lee the collusion story, which was a total hoax. How does the media keeps screwing these stories up? It's almost like once in a while, by mistake, they get something right. Well, you know, in the media descend, the lab leak was promoted by a guy who lied more than any other president in the history of this country, So if not, it's important People remember that that Gave an extra skepticism. I have said on the air, though many times that a last week is absolutely something we should be thinking about as something that may have happened with covid 19 Not necessarily maliciously could have just been so many you know, uh, left the place with it on their clothes or contracted it accidentally within the lab, and it got out. And I have a feeling that's what we're going to find out happened, But, you know, you know, I saw you did that back. You slip that trump taking there, But I'm sorry, I I can't like I gotta stop. We got to throw up. I have my penalty flag for the fox Say I do if you're watching on Fox a pen hold in. 15 yards on the field. Chris Chris the Listen number one. I'm not excusing anything. But all politicians say things that aren't true, But what I find interesting is the big stuff. I just mentioned to you. Trump was right on all of them, and you managed to call him the
Socialism and Marxism Have a 100% Fail Rate
"You understand? Marxism? Do you get the whole Marxism thing? Because telling people to go out and buy a book isn't exactly Marxism is that you know, I'm missing something there. I give him all right. Give him away. His producer, Jim said. Why ask them to buy it? Because you want to make a few bucks? Okay? That's it. Okay, fine. I'm a capitalist. I agree. She doesn't she said she's a Marxist. Folks. Socialism, Marxism Communism. They are food babies from the same parent. They are. Tortured ideologies, which have led to the deaths and the accumulation of body bags for hundreds of millions of people. As I said before, it's the one thing socialism is famous for is it has a 100% success rate of failure It has never, ever worked. Why? And why do people like a black lives matter? Co founder a black life matters co founder Patrice Cullors. Not yet this and why are they indoctrinating your kids? Why don't they get it? Because they don't understand why socialism always fails.
Mid-Year Check-In: Are You Being Accountable to Yourself?
"The question of accountability. I love this question for several reasons. Now i it says account dash ability. I love this. One is because you actually have the ability to account for how far you came this year now. Let me explain what that means. Personal accountability means you stated promises to yourself. You took the actions and you fulfill them. You were accountable for how you showed up and how you perform each day accountability. Also means you'd be able to measure that you'd be able to take into account that so what does accountability really mean. Accountability really means you set up some systems of measurement. For your success. I know this is where it was. Jesus put some balloons up dancing bears. Can we have some positivity. Here i started with positivity. Now i'm going to go right to your face. What did you fail to take accountability for. Did you fail to take accountability for the fact that you promised to get your health in order. Did you fail to take accountability for your actions. So you're still blaming your spouse for your results. Did you fail to take accountability for the fact that you got pay some taxes. You still laid on. Did you fail to take accountability for your credit card debt this year. Like i just want you to think. Broadly i told you the beginning. This is a conversation. This is like a good old conversation with. uncle coach. Brendan and so. Where did you fail. Accountabilities piece i know that's hard but high performers are not uncomfortable with this conversation that we got to be very comfortable with our measuring sticks and have this conversation. I can tell you where mine were. Accountability i missed a ton of team calls this year. I fail to take accountability for me to make sure that every single week i got my team calls. I own that i'm aware of it. I'll do better next year. It's important for us to be able to look at ourselves and say you know what that piece. I wasn't as accountable towards my wife at the first five months of this year as i had promised her. When we move to puerto rico. I should have been more available to her. I should've doted on her more. I should have made sure she was set up as much as i was trying to set up the business in the studio and things and you know i should have had more wind nights with my wife this year like i'm accountable for that because i want to be a good husband and it doesn't make me feel sad. I'm not getting mad at myself. I'm being realistic. And i'm observing my own
Opportunities Have Expiration Dates
"Opportunities have expiration dates. Brilliant line. I don't know about you but usually i realized that my milk has an expiration date. But i've never thought about opportunities having expiration dates. I believe it's profoundly true. Let me give you couple of examples. Friend calls you on the phone and says they have a ticket to a concert. They can get you a ticket but got thirty minutes to decide to decide now whether you want to go to the show or not. Someone sends you a message and says an old friend is in town. But they're leaving tomorrow. You want to see him. It's gotta be tonight. Opportunities have expiration dates. Those are obvious question. Obvious situations where you might see that. But i have some questions for you to think about this idea a little bit further. Have you ever missed an opportunity because you are unaware of it. Have you ever missed an opportunity. Because you let it fall down your priority list or have you ever missed an opportunity because you delayed or stuck in analysis paralysis. Well unless you are dead or delusional you got at least one. Yes to those three questions probably more than one. Yes to more than one of those questions now. Not every thing. We run across is obvious as the ticket being available or the friend being in town. Sometimes we don't know there are opportunities because we don't notice them which could be because we're not looking for them which leads me the first of two big ideas to help you take advantage of opportunities. And here's the first one you have to have opportunity radar radar simply means that you are noticing scanning looking for expecting to find
A New Kind of Tournament Platform with Trey Christensen
"Welcome in trade Christensen, the VP of growth Faith or First Blood. How you doing tray? Very good, appreciate. Appreciate you having me for today. Kevin, I appreciate it. Now, this is your second time on on the show. First time was with the Mitch over a year ago. So yep. Yeah, you know, what's going on. So in case you guys missed that that his previous outing with us, she's a former Halo Pro Gamer. I like I said, currently VPN for a growth that first Blood you were also, if you are still part of the Air Force National Guard CRVs, Gigi your formerly director of Esports and later director of digital Communications for Dallas, the Dallas Mavericks, I guess they're gaming. Then the team itself, which is awesome. And so, I mean, you've been through the ringer on on quite a lot of of things here. So you go from Pro Gamer, to working with the Mavericks to kind of forming their own way through the business of Esports. And I just got to say, Applause all around, not many people can make that that kind of transition know, I appreciate it. I think that it was, I'll say that some of it was an accident, some of it was just need a shipping but overall it's been, you know, a very been very fortunate, very excited to, you know, move on to the next project and see what I can make happen, but it's been an adventure. Definitely wage Uh, to take a career in gaming, essentially After High School. Just instead of going straight to college like everyone else did, I went straight into gaming and I was just all about it and sort of led me here, so that's cool. So I'm glad you bring up something first. I really want to, I want to go over just your former career. I guess, as your past life, as a Halo Pro, I mean, you can pay for about four or five years on the page, the circuit. And then you you I imagined there were some, some important lessons you learned as a player that kind of helped you later on. As you kind of went as more, you know, managerial corporate business. He type of Esports a personality. So, what kind of lessons did you learn? As a player know, I think the biggest lesson is networking. So when I was competing I was, I was off hyper focused on, you know, just rivalries competition in general. And at that point, you know, I'm like eighteen, nineteen, twenty. I'm I came into it a little bit later than everybody else. Then I was competing against, but the networking side was something that I had to pick up gradually. I didn't just have it. So I went into it and I treated every rival as if they were like my Fierce enemy. And I, you know, it was like the only people that I hung out with and talked to were the people that I was teeming with and trying to make a career with. And it took me a while to start to understand that, you know, if she is on my side and the more connections and friendships that I cater to, the more people I had the opportunity to team with the more people that ended up staying in the industry and working in the industry. And so by the end of my career change, you know, just gaming and Halo. I was able to make a lot of friendships that I now, even utilized
Amazon Sidewalk Is Live, What Should You Do About It?
"Sidewalk is an ambitious program to create east smart neighborhood by borrowing thais liver of your bandwidth the powered echo devices. Now us live what you do about it. On roger chang industry daily charge joining us to talk about all things. Sidewalk is our smart home expert at at editor right chris. Welcome i roger beer. So i what is amazon sidewalk. So what amazon sidewalk is basically trying to do is help devices outside. The home connect with amazon servers. So it's using your echo in ring devices as sort of like a relay if there's a device that's like a neighbor's light or someone lost a tile tracker in the vicinity of your home where it's in bluetooth range of that echo device and you have sidewalk turned on in so do today that device from another person can send data to amazon servers to get to the tile rivers or to get to whatever servers needs to get to save at. The light needs to come on that. The tracker is missing. And it's passing that data through your echo devices. It's using bluetooth. The send the data to the echo device. And then you're passing that along through your network up to amazon servers. So the scary part of that is that it's using a little bit of your home's bandwidth and it's letting other people potentially have s in a sort of anonymous in unseen way to your home's
The Future of Voice Technology: Where Should It Head Next?
"Where do you see the real future of voice. I mean from your perspective not from where the industry is going from the intersections that you know you personally as a creator. Let's see going. Thanks you know this gets into an. And i think we've touched on this a couple of times that the Where it's going is not is is being propelled by industry and transactional stuff whether the different sectors such as banking and financial sector. That voice is getting developed. Just for that. Then you have health and medical and where you know solutions on complex combined with your bracelet or wearable or in the automotive sector where it's all about the voice in the car and what system you're working with We still have as we all know where you only get five choices more or less. It's like the big phone carriers. We only have alexa google. You know there are smaller players like bixby and cortana which are are still very huge but all are are still separate. There is no one voice system that that we all interact with. You must choose a domain to be an and then and then that's monetize to try and get you to transact So when i think of where voices going We still have a long way to go to. Just get to what we primarily see and tv shows and movies right now which is a type of programming. But we don't interact really on a certain fundamental simple level with our. You know you're asking about a restaurant and it tells you about puppies whereas i think that a lot of the time what what is missing in the voice sector which which is part of this conversation i wanted to have was was. Why aren't we designing for a more simple human experience. Even though we need these transactions what time is the movie. get by me matt. My tickets make it all. Transparent fluid One one voice command. And i have my tickets waiting for me up the cinema but really you know we don't deal with on an emotional level voices not advanced enough with its algorithms to know how you feel with a word like in for So i think that we have such a long way to go with designing voice for humans for being human

WWDC 2021 Review
"As we sit here at the social policy coffee shop and in a few minutes. We're going to go down the street and get some beer and sausage and maybe some of that awesome vegan indian food. I wonder dave how is. Wbz going for you different than it. Sounds like your experiences. I miss those days a little bit. I mean it is really nice to wake up in my house with my family. You know like not having to travel across the country and spend an apple watch a night in a hotel But you know. know there are parts of that that i miss Certainly buddy too. I think overall i honestly this way yeah. It's it's weird. I'd say this year let seats. Wdc week which is super exciting and fun but is kind of a weird weird feeling. Because i think like last year felt like An exception that that it was you know certainly not. I think how apple would have planned to do it and it was. They were responding to a situation. That was kind of just thrust upon them a few months before. Wdc whereas this year it was planned and expected and this is it feels a little different that going into a week where it was like. Okay i don't know how this is going to go and know so far. We're about recording this around the middle of the week. It's survived say it's been going well and is similar if not slightly better in a few ways to what we had last year where it's the same kind of you denies. Short focused videos That you know. We're gonna format that. I think is just amazing. They've added a few little bits and pieces to it but for otherwise overall like structurally the conference seems to you know they've gotten the hang of it and they didn't have to actually change that much from what they did last year to make it even better. Yeah i mean again. Like i think we are going to have a weird transition. That's not gonna be entirely positive if they go back to in person conferences next year because there is so much about this. That actually is really nice for a lot of people I honestly i. I like the i like it this way. I mean there's there is definitely stuff. I miss about the old. You know in person format If they never went back to the in person format. I wouldn't be upset and i think if they do go that it next year i think might be kind of upset about certain aspects of it. So i i actually. I'm really enjoying this. This format again.
Tamika Mallory Loves Black People
"Congrats on the book. Thank you sir very excited. How is your spirit because you know every time somebody is dead and the family is grieving and you are there supporting them and lifting them up and trying to hold folks accountable and i wonder just how does this land on your spirit that you're always there like lifting folks up when they're in their lowest moment. I have my moments and have families. That i'm really close to and i think it gets harder at like when we're in the midst of the fight it. I can deal with it because i'm used to that but it gets harder when they're struggling after people are gone after the cameras are gone. It's just like any other grieving process. You know it does get a little difficult and Anna wanted things i stopped doing is watching videos as sap that don't watch videos. I have not watched full video of ronald green. If i see an image go away from it quickly. I only watched george floyd video because of the trial you know. At that point it was like the trial. You couldn't miss all the little pieces. But i never sat down to watch full video that so why because i struggle with watching new ones i try to avoid it unless like the world is like yo you gotta see this one and i feel guilty for not watching. But you're you're you why why you make a choice. It's a super duper preventative. Like i just can't. I mean i was waking up at night holding onto images and sounds and other. Things wasn't good for me and i think you know you don't know but you know i had a whole struggle with pain pills in had to go to rehab and all of that and it happened as a result of like five different traumatic things happening all at the same time. The women's large you know struggles with all the folks that i work with just my own issues so much happening and the next thing not with addicted

Why Turning off Your Emotions Is Crucial in Poker
"Turn off your emotions. This one may be easier said than done but may just be the most important part of the entire process when trying to figure out what the other player has. You can't let your emotions control you. Have you ever caught yourself in one of these situations. A you know your beat but you call to your seeking revenge against a player for an earlier hand or you think. A particular player is always bluffing answered. Yes to any of those three questions. You might want to turn things around using a logical and steady hand elimination process and rains. Construction is a much better way than simply hoping to be right this time. Don't get too stuck on the off chance that you're bluffing you. Even if occasionally they may be if the spot is such that they have more value than bluffs. It may be the time to fold. No idea where she was at police started interviewing witnesses searching the neighborhood but the weekend passed with no sign of Marie. That's when the phone rang on the desk of FBI. Agent Rick Halo. We got the report. I believe on a Monday. Maybe Tuesday that She was missing. Didn't report to work. Of course they're concerned to her disappearance and that was unlike her absolutely. It's unusual for the bureau to get involved in a missing person's case but it turned out that Marie singleton was no ordinary missing person. Not with her job they called it department of Defense. They didn't call it. Cia but she's working for the US government for the agency working on communications for them unbeknownst to just about everyone in her life. Marie singleton was a code clerk for the Central Intelligence Agency. She wasn't a spy but she did handle classified communications from agents overseas information. That might be very interesting to enemies of the United States. Part of the FBI does is investigate. Things like this employee goes missing right exactly remember. This was nineteen ninety-four memories of the Cold War. Were still fresh. It could turn into an espionage investigation for example if you have missing classified information and somebody's going over helping the Russians. The Chinese somebody like that. It could theoretically turned into that kind of a case. So now there were parallel investigations. The local cops look for a missing person the FBI. Covertly look for an intelligence worker. Who might have been kidnapped or changed? Sides Murray's family meanwhile just wanted her back started making fliers for my mom. You remember the flyers definitely remember the flyers soon. A number of marines co workers and friends were posting flyers on telephone and lightbulb storefronts and shopping centres. Kelly Clayton remembers how she had a friend asked Andrei. Would they could do to help. He asked pass them out by the beach. At this time I asked him. Why would we pass a Ma at the beach? So he said well you know. That's okay you don't have to pass them at the beach. The beach or just anywhere in southern California now dockweiler beach dockweiler. Beach is about eight miles from Andrea. Murray's home near Los Angeles International Airport. Where flights leave daily for Moscow and Beijing. On Tuesday November fifteenth. Four days Morita severe. Andre himself went there to post liars. He had an encounter with a perfect stranger and ask for help. And that's when this story took another strange turn coming up. Couldn't believe it. I was seeing. The cause was just looking for a huge break. In the case and a heartbreaking moment at home walk in the room. And everybody's in there crying everyone in tears when Dateline continues. "In the next few minutes. By the time I finished recording this I may end up taking back. Something that I've been saying for many years and firmly stood by that I don't miss people places or things. Allow me to explain why that has been my truth for so long. And how? I'm working on reconciling. Something of recently noticed that might negate my previous point of view. The word missing implies that something as well missing that something is not whole or complete because it lacks a missing component it's a mindset of deficiency insufficiency deficit or scarcity. Perhaps you can already understand. Why after years of centering? My attention on the abundance in life and being grateful for available rather than focusing on what isn't of essentially trained myself to not only see every moment and circumstance as a whole and complete but to honor it as such every second of each day is a gift friendships and relationships are to be treasured while they last health youth. Everything is so temporary but that briefest of moments is everything to think of what's lacking or even entertain comparing a moment to some ideal version of it. We have in our heads or a memory of something from the past is to take the present moment for granted in fact to not be in it at all so when people ask me if I miss a good friend or relative who has passed away for example or even if I Miss Hawaii after living there for ten years my answer is always the same I think of it fondly and I have great memories but I refuse to save my current. Life is incomplete without it or somehow subpar without someone in it. Doing so would be dismissive of the gift in my life today. And I believe taking things for granted is our greatest downfall so I focus on what who is in my life and a celebrate each breath rather than spend a moment entertaining the idea that my life is somehow incomplete. We believe whatever we tell ourselves and life would be a real downer if we start believing that it's missing something. I'm not cold or insensitive about it. I've just gotten really good at shifting perspective toward what's in front of me rather than what's behind. It took some practice of catching myself. Every time I compared any moment too. How much better? I thought it could be and just enjoy it for what it is. I love my dad. Sure but do I miss him. No I see the blessing of having had one in the first place I would feel like I'm being extremely ungrateful if I wish for things to be any different like being given an inch and then wanting a mile if that makes sense be grateful for what you have and you'll have plenty of it. That's been my mantra for a few years. Now that have rationalized it. I'm going to try to take a counter. Stance explain what I recently noticed and admittedly. I've even tried to deny moving away from the last town. I was in to where I am now has been an interesting mixture of being in a place. That is blissfully rural close to the mountains in the ocean in a mostly quiet and devoid of stimulation environment. Which for me is ideal. It's much colder than I can handle. With a smile on my face since wear multiple layers or staying indoors with a heat turned on feels extremely confining to me and. I'm a bird that does not thrive in a cage. But if I'm really honest with myself I don't think the cold weather here has been my biggest challenge. You know how some bathrooms have light bar above the mirror with multiple lightbulbs when people fill each socket with a hundred watt bulb. The bathroom is way too. Bright almost blinding. But when there's only one lightbulb burning forty watts and all the rest of them are burnt out. Then good luck. Finding a contact lens should one fall out of your hand. I don't have fancy lighting in my bathroom. But in life I have managed to create the ideal balance of time spent indoors and outdoors eating healthy without obsessing over it not having too many acquaintances or not enough friends making God a big part of my life but not so big at alienates people in other words just the right amount of light in bathroom. Light Bulb Terminology. Let's just say I've gotten good at having every other lightbulb on this trip turned on which is perfect. Sometimes when you have such lighting in your bathroom or somewhere in your home and one of the bulbs goes out. You don't notice it right away. You just figure it's late at night that you have a sleep. Maybe things just seemed dimmer. Because you're in a dream state until one day. You finally realized that one of the light bulbs that used to shine just enough light to balance things out is no longer shining and he don't realize it right away but it makes a huge difference in how well you can see the world this perhaps the greatest metaphor but I now realize that my biggest obstacle living here hasn't been to weather. It's that I moved away from a friend who was a very important source of light in my life so the question I asked myself is do i. Miss her is that what people mean when they say the miss someone would. I still miss her. If I found another source of light may be all I need to do is get better at shifting. My focus keep in mind. There's no conclusion to this line of inquiry. I truly don't know I just realized that there's perhaps the possibility of simultaneously being extremely grateful for the gifts in my life joyous and even dare I say complete while still missing someone or something. It doesn't make sense technically or linguistically. But I'm going to stop saying don't miss because maybe I do and just haven't found the words with which to express it yet have been so adamant that life is not about the glass half full or half empty. It's about being grateful to have a glass in the first place but maybe it's not an either or situation but the coexistence of all those perspectives at once. Life the glasses half full of water half full of air half empty of water half empty of air and a complete glass. Just the same full of possibilities. "The season the nfl is star players that have not been on the field of how that has impacted teams most them are because of injuries i know schefter tweeted on friday morning sub they got like 15000 re tweets it was like all the players that are on i are or could eventually land on i are but evan one of the other player that's missing right now is the kelly a to serve the io va likely sixgame suspension obviously there some legal loopholes that could make it a fourgame suspension etc i think the style think the headline from yesterday's loss for the cowboys is that no zeke means a flat offense and a totally different cowboys team but maybe this story is that dak prescott was running for his life on every single drop back yesterday is it possible that the cowboys bigger loss would have not having tyran smith as opposed to seek elliot i mean if you're earlier is a guy that people can identify with because you know they see states they know what are you look like he was the number four overall pick in the draft he plays you know a prominent position in fantasy football but i think that there's no question that turnaround smith has more value to the cowboys often centres eke you'll elliot us um so i i mean i really don't even think it's close and then you pull tyron smith out of the offense and all of a sudden in offense of line had really started to come together i mean they got off to a slow start early in the year all of a sudden it collapses uh so i think that you're not only is tyron smith more valuable probably to dinner zeke your elliott to the offense he's probably the most valuable player on that cowboys offense of wine adrian claiborne has never been a prolific sacked guy i mean he's been a versatile defensive lineman in his career.
