"She refuses to accept it as a hand-drawn and won't pay me. This is frustrating. Basically i was asked by an old lady on facebook a cat group. If i can draw her cat i kindly accepted an offer to do it for much less than i would normally charge. The deal was a digital painting. There would be emailed to her. She agreed and i spent hours on it. I showed her finished picture with a small watermark on the corner of face. She then said sorry. This is not hand-drawn has asked. I was so upset and wasted so much time. Does anyone experienced this. what can i do. I can't say that i've experienced that. I agree have you ever. Have you ever done well. No 'cause they pay you up front right. I was stiffed once. And i will say this after that i got paid up front for everything and time spent chasing down the payment which we never fully got was not worth the effort in the end so i would walk away from the cat lady And just lead that rest. And then if i felt that my drawing was exceptionally amazing i would like put it on t shirts trucker hats and sell it online. Oh that's a good Yeah that's brilliant your money back you know and there's still many sites that you can do that now. We don't have any money out. You go t spring or all these other sites where just upload it and then people combined so you don't even have to go out of pocket mask trucker hat duffel bag you know man you could even do like kitty type accessories lovers on your facebook and then post it on the face of the cat group. Yeah exactly 'cause vengeance is it's a little sweet. Oh man you know. What i would do is i would put it on the bottom of litterbox and so when the litter gets low the cat face starts to pick up and be like fill me up. I don't think that's how litterbox is work..

I know that corona virus has changed things for a lot of people. How is it ended up affecting you. And how have you been able to stay sane and still be able to feed that creative muscle. It's easy you know the thing. Is you know right before this happened. My husband's musician. He's trumpet player An a singer and he's lady gaga jazz bandleader. And right before this happened the past year we had been building momentum on a show in vegas that was essentially the after party to her show so she was playing at the park and after her show at the park. We would do an after show at the nomad and it started out as a small thing. The start picking up steam picking up steam so we were out in vegas for months at a time and it was really amazing. "Yeah. It's just as gorgeous. Glamorous strip tease but on the other hand it carry a messenger for so many messages that are important. Invalid right now. That's super cool. I was going to ask to at being a pioneer in the new movement. I'm just thinking about all of the stuff that goes into doing it which it sounds like from what i had heard and research. You end up doing your own choreography own costumes. Your own moves. Everything and i wanted to ask. How did it start to come up like that. And what were some of the biggest challenges for you imagining the costumes. Being a big one. But yeah i grew up selling my grandmom taught me how to sew so i had a real like a an advantage in that department but yeah you kind of had to do everything for yourself in the beginning because there was nobody to go to for these things and most of us didn't have the money to go to somebody else even if you know if you're like oh i going to get this done so and that was kind of one of the punk rock edges that i think lends itself to it but i also think as a performer. When you're making your character you're making your own costumier acquitting the theme to your own performance. You're picking the music that in itself like entrenches your soul in it even deeper so the audience is getting so much authenticity from you like. They're getting your message. So loud and clear so i think that's one of the other things that makes burlesque a unique. You know it's not like you're dancing on your show and someone's choreographing it and there's a costume department. It's very authentic in really comes directly from performer. But with that said it is a lot of work and over the years. The more successful i became in the more i was able to. I got the getting my costumes made was the first thing that i did optimism wings. That's it take my money. Do my and..

"She was one of the top burlesque performers in the world who was crowned miss exotic world in two thousand eight the miss exotic world pageant. She's had multiple appearances on conan. Good morning america. The today show gossip girl and more. She's the italian stallion. Nets angie pantani and thank you for having me. Oh my gosh. Thank you for joining. I so i for our listeners. How we originally connected ended up connecting through italian. Believe in god i am i tutor and that we were just talking about that about ten years ago. Which is insane. You haven't you don't look like you've aged the bit. I look like you. Time has taken a toll on me now now now now but i just wanted to the italian going now. Are you pretty much basically where you left me. That's not necessarily true. I got like well. I think after we stopped starting together. I ended up working in italy. A ton guy was on tv. Show out there. I was going out there like literally. Probably every two or three months and at that point i got really good and i kind of lost that shyness. Fear of just opening your mouth and diving in at the harwood I got over. That and i did really good and i was like i would say that i was blue but i get by. I could get you through italy. But i had not been there in several years now so i feel like i've plummeted again. The fact is like right before this pandemic happened. I was. I had two trips scheduled to start going back in working over there again but so hopefully when this is over i will but i think that's the thing when you're there and you're living it and you're immersed in it it's so magical how it comes back to you. Yeah no that's very true. And i feel like i haven't flex those muscles in a while either so. My italian started to atrophy as well. But that's i mean that's super cool that you were doing tv over there. What was it like. I mean it's awesome to be in another country and especially italy being on tv..
