Via radio, taking a look at our SEC football media days schedule. That day right there, just with lane and beamer, Roman. That'll give us enough to last the rest of the day if not for the next few weeks, the closer it'll come from those two. Well, you know the thing is, is you think that, but lane kiffin is only super exciting on Twitter. I think when he gets in front of the podium, it's kind of gives us the dumpling. The doll version of himself. Elaine, I think you're exciting in person. I enjoyed meeting with you. 8 5 5 two four two 72 80 5, if you would like to be a part of the show, let's go to JK in Alabama. Welcome into the show, JK. It was so strange. Miss Cole Cuban. How are you doing? Man, I can't complain about that. How about that Alabama prison time? Number one for 40 minutes. I love it. They went all the way to Knoxville and got a volunteer, but kicking. Which Twitter handle are you using today, bam a hater? What did you say? Which of your 11 Twitter handles are you using today to tweet into the show? Okay. Hey, let me ask you a question on the national radio show about your local show. Why you guys never talk about that Brett Favre situation? But you talked about Jameis Winston and crab legs and you talked about Michael Vick and dogs and talk about Japanese kneeling in protest, the police killing unarmed citizen, but you won't talk about Brett Favre or the chey barga situation with pleading guilty for manslaughter. Yeah, I thought Tennessee played great last night, Roman. Brought some physicality, played well in the paint. We mentioned at the top of the show, really did a nice job getting in the middle of those Alabama passing lanes, forcing turnovers. The effort was fine from Alabama, but I thought some of the passes were maybe a little bit lazy. A little bit lackadaisical in that department for the crimson title. Not only that, but sometimes you got to make a shot to stop a run. You got to make some shots to make Tennessee take the basket out from underneath, right? You got to do that sometimes. Alabama had chances when the game was close within 8 within 6 for a very long time within three at some points in time in that second half and they were never able to make that run that you're traditionally used to seeing from this Alabama basketball team all year long. And Cole, one more thing. Is JK your neighbor, 'cause I mean, you guys, he seemed like he knew you. Well, he's a regular for macro and Cuba. Okay, okay. Only went out of him and loses it something, though. Otherwise, there's nowhere to be found. Specifically when Miami lost the middle Tennessee this year. We put the GPS out on him and no one could find where he was. We'll go to Dustin and Tulsa online too. Welcome to the show, Dustin. Good morning, gentlemen. Welcome to the show. Thanks for having us. Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. Cool. First of all, when we begin to apologize and you personally for the weather in Fayetteville last year during the old miss game, I was at that game and man it was freezing, but it was a hell of a good game. I loved loved watching our team beat the hell out of lane Tiffany and the rebels. A lot of folks didn't like the broadcast of that game. I personally enjoyed it and it was chilly, but I had a heated vest. Thanks to those guys that banned it. So that was that kept us warm and then some of the Arkansas fans were nice enough to let us sit in there. We'll on field suite right there. So Jordan and I stayed warm that way. You know, I'd like to think that we're one of the more accommodating and nicer fan bases I'd certainly rather hang out with us than I would hang out in bed and rouge, but that's here nor there. I wanted to talk to both of you guys very briefly and get your take on injuries downtime things like that. As a razorback fan, I saw what everybody was hoping would be a ten win season go to a 6 one season fast, but we only lost four of those games by 9 points and it seems like it kind of centered around KJ getting hurt, miss and Mississippi state and LSU struggled versus liberty and we have other injuries Catalan goes out first game selectors hurt bumper pool place hurt during the year. For a team like Arkansas that's that's in, you know, like when KJ goes out and you've got to count on Malik hornsby. I'm not trying to trash my corn to be out at the LSU game too. And that was no treat to watch. When a team like them or Georgia has a position player like that go down, they can go and grab a backup that would be a starter on anybody else's team. How much of a problem is a consequential injury like that to a team like Arkansas and outside of just the simple answer of simply recruiting, how do they get around that? How do they add some depth, especially with the NIL making everyone think that they're entitled to be a starter? And everyone thinks that they're entitled to tons of playing time. What's the answer there? Dustin, great question. Thanks for the call. And I wouldn't say that it's just automatic. What could Alabama when jaylen Miller had to come in and I would actually put hornsby and milrow in a similar category, Roman, maybe a little bit more athlete than quarterback right now. And so you have to alter your offense, you have to do different things around that. And I don't think there's any doubt that when KJ Jefferson was not even when he was out. When he wasn't a 100%, Arkansas a different football team. Yes. Because all of a sudden you don't have to defend that quarterback run on the backside. Rocket Sanders doesn't have his clean holes to be able to run through. And there were some other images that affected that team. So I think it's big. And the developmental part is the first thing that comes to mind, but you can't develop when guys are leaving. That's where the NIL part comes in. Well, depth is always concerned on any team in any program, especially nowadays with transfer portal so relevant. And before we even talk about NIL, this guy's just want to play. And guys think they have in somebody's told them how great they are when they were in another school and when they were getting recruited out of high school. And so they always feel that fear of other options out there. So that's what they're always trying to get to. And they feel like leaving sometimes is better than actually staying and working it through. And I got to be honest with you, the grass is not always greener on the other side. We see that so many times throughout this transfer portal process that we've seen in this kind of industry we end right now. The other thing I would also say just kind of add on piggyback off what you said. Not only was it KJ Jefferson, a huge issue when he was not in because of how much it affected offense. Arkansas secondary was the biggest letdown at times last year. They could not keep the ball in front of them and tackling must be better. If you guys tackle better next year, then I can expect better wins for Arkansas next year. So that's what I'm looking at and leaning on is tackling in the off season for Arkansas. But it's not there's no development. Cody's is a great job with the offensive line Ricky stromberg was fantastic at center last year. And how about Matt landers? He was great at wide receiver.

"Satan needs to work with the private sector to get more homes built. It's now four 47. Washington has an official state bird, the willow goldfinch, an official state fish, the steelhead trout. Now as a Marina rocking chair explains, there could be a new state animal you'd have to travel back in time to actually see. 80 million years or so in the making, a dinosaur could become the next state animal. It's all thanks to a group of kids from elmhurst elementary and Parkland, who four years ago with the guidance of their teacher Amy Cole, started the push for the sushi saurus Rex to be the Washington state official dinosaur. Miss Cole had been teaching the kids about government, and she says there was a bit in their textbook about students in Massachusetts, successfully making the ladybug their state insect. So, as she testifies in front of the state government and tribal relations committee, she quickly saw the excitement in her fourth graders. I saw those wheels start turning. And I ran with it. I love dinosaurs. I have dinosaur stuff all over my classroom where I am speaking to you from right now. And so my students decided that maybe we could have a state dinosaur. In their digging, the kids discovered in 2012, researchers for the Burke museum in Seattle found a piece of dinosaur bone at sushi island state park in the San juans. This led to naming the dinosaur, sushi saurus Rex, the now 8th graders after countless letters to legislators, have a prime sponsor of House Bill ten 20 on their side, representative Melanie Morgan of Parkland. Some may scoff at this bill and think it's a silly Bill. But I believe that this bill holds a greater significance. Are youth are engaging with our state legislature. This is our formal recognition and appreciation for the hard work preparation, creativity

"It was one round. Hey, I'm just saying. Yeah, and Sean was getting off and that's it. But sure. You really don't like Sean O'Malley. I don't like him getting the former champion and he just got stupid. This fight, I mean, I don't know what Dominic has left. That's the real question. We know what Marlon has, he'll continue to get better. So I'm going to cruise has been around for so long. And you know he says things like, there's no such thing as cage with. I'm always in the training, but father time is still undefeated. This puts him right back in the title conversation. Absolutely. Absolutely. So I still think he gets finished. I'm just going to pick Dominic Cruz because if the Dominic crews of old shows up almost nobody beats him with that footwork and the striking by decision. I think either way this one goes to distance. It's hard for me to pick against domino Cruz and that's why I'm not doing it. I just, I would love to see DOM versus Sean O'Malley. Great striking. Yeah. I'd like to see him talk shit to each other. Yeah. Dominate his ass down though. You'll forget DOM has a funky crazy wrestling. The foot spider monkey take them. The wrestling cruise is really good. I just don't know if he's still really good. It's like how old is Dominic Cruz? 37. But he's only fought like what? Four times in the last 5 years? Yeah. Maybe longer than that. I'm not even looking it up. But it's like, trying to think of an NFL running back to three, three fights for so three fights since 2017. That's tough. So 2017. 1920 21, 22. Three 5 to 5 years. It's like when Adrian Peterson came back. Almost 6 'cause we're halfway through this year, 5 and a half years. It's like when Adrian Peterson came back and he was like, we don't know what he's got left. Yeah. And then he was like, yeah, he's okay. Like Dominic might be that, or he might be great. Like some players disappear for a couple of years, come back. They look great. I don't know. I'm just not picking against Dominic Cruz. How many pick Dominic by decision? If he gets another title fight, that's Glover to Cheryl esque. Another second ass career. So all right, should be a good fight. It looks like we don't have a guest ray. So we are wrapping up. We appreciate everyone for listening as always going into the weekend. As we said on Tuesday's show, give your love, give me a shout out, produce a cold baby. "That's important, I can wait. And if people will say, no, no, I'm listening. I'm like, oh no. I need you to listen with your eyes and your ears because you know what? There's 4 billion other things I could be doing. I do not need to be sitting here talking to you while you're on Instagram, I don't. I want someone to be fully present. But you can actually have language for that. And ask our state in my loved one, hey, this is really important time. I haven't seen you. Can I make a simple request that no phones while we're together, please? Miss Cole, before we close the show, can you reassure all of our listeners that it's okay to set boundaries both online and in real life? It's so much more than okay. Because it is actually you being seen for your authentic self and you're being truthful instead of having people guess you're letting people know where you stand. The most trustworthy people are the people who can talk through. And we all know that think about it right now. Your friend, who you know, say yes when they really want to say no because they don't want to quote unquote, hurt your feeling. When they say yes to something, you go, there's a 50% chance that that's going to happen. Correct? So don't you want to be someone that not only are people contrast, but that you can trust to take care of yourself. And you can always do this with love with kindness with ease. You've never have to be mean. It's setting a limit with someone. It is not required unless their behavior is requiring it. But generally, it's once you get good at this, you can do it with ease and grace. So I understand if it feels scary. But I promise you, I've devoted my life to work to this. You can absolutely learn how to do this. And your entire life will up level when you do. Now your latest book is titled boundary boss, the essential guide to talk true be seen and finally live free, which is available on Amazon, and I'm sure other fine book sellers. But where can folks find you and learn more? After you get the book, you can go to boundary boss book dot com and that has all the sellers there, but it also has a whole bunch of free boundaries supporting goodies for meditation to my boundary quizzes. It's just a 13 question queen to help you get your boundary setting baseline to understand where you should maybe.

"Miss Cole is a New York based licensed psychotherapist, relationship expert, and founder of real love revolution. She has been an expert therapist on a and E's monster in laws, the Lisa Oz show, and Real Housewives, and we are very pleased to welcome her to our show today. Well, hello. Thanks for having me. Today we're going to be discussing boundary setting for women with emphasis on social media boundaries. Miss Cole, can you tell our listeners why the focus specifically on women do women need different resources or advice or help and handling boundaries? Oh, yes. Really specifically because men and women in a traditional sense or socialize very differently as women, we're really raised and praised to be self abandoning codependent. This lack of is really important skill set because no one really teaches us how to do it, how to talk true to speak up. Most women, we are really taught to prioritize feelings, thoughts and desires of others over ourselves. And I don't really feel like men are raised the same way. At least not in my therapeutic experience. Obviously, I'm not a therapist, but I can see where ignoring our own needs and allowing people to move in on your territory would cause problems that seems, well, frankly, just intuitive to me that if you're not paying attention to your own needs and nobody else is paying attention to your needs, that you're not going to be able to live your best life. With that in mind, what exactly is a boundary? Well, the way that I teach it is that you having healthy boundaries, anyone having healthy boundaries. And just to back it up for one step. This is not to say that men don't struggle with this. Because I know plenty that do. It's just.

"Work. It's so clear that she is working towards something unpleasant. You know, the truth is that under current, isn't there just unease kind of women kind of fitting their lives around kind of domestic obligations and then they're being something toxic in that that's going to come to a head. Absolutely. It's absolutely right, Andrew, because then, you know, that scene is so hilarious when misses Cole ends up, she ends up face down in her dinner. Yeah, it's funny, but also you're thinking because she there's a part of you that thinks she is like this because of John Cole. There are things that John Cole does not want to reveal about his life. He doesn't want to reveal certain details about his daughter. He doesn't want to reveal certain details about his wife. He comes across as you say is this as a good and as a charmer, but again, there's something in disguise that there's something that he doesn't want to show. I'm going to ask Laura to read a bit in a minute, but we've got some very rare extracts of Elizabeth Jones herself reading from this novel something in disguise. And you can choose panel, which you would rather hear. Would you rather hear Elizabeth Jayne had read about Elizabeth's cat Claude or would you rather hear her read a section about mayonnaise? Mayonnaise. I mean Claude is a star in the book. Claude stars in the book anyway. Let's go with Mayo. Right. It was 25 to 8 and the colonel was doling out sparse portions of the salmon trout. Not all this, he said. He saw the mayonnaise. Oliver answered immediately. It is a source made of egg yolks and olive oil and flavored with black pepper and vinegar called mayonnaise. It was invented by a French general's chef at the siege from mayon, hence its name. How interesting that you should never have encountered it before. The colonel put down his servers and glad steadily at his stepson. May I said Herbert didn't mean that, did you die? He meant what's it doing here finished Oliver? Ah, well, Liz made it with a bit of help from me. We thought you'd like a sauce with a military background. There was an incompatible silence while the colonel served the fish and handed plates to May for new potatoes and peas. Then he said, I'm all for plain English cooking herself. You know, I think she is walking that tightrope between what is funny and what is deeply macabre. And dangerous and this comes back to the way she represents gender relations all the way through the book. Quite early on, Elizabeth describes stepfather her, but she says, he gives me the creeps, or just to be poor and funny, but he isn't. And all of us that's what it's for. It's a pompous old fool. An Elizabeth says you're not a woman you wouldn't understand..

"Yet she fairly balances the scales of her argument and her vision is not unkind. I mean, I don't entirely agree with William Trevor on the last point. I think she's gimlet eyed. Can I be a good time to read the little extract I chose? Because I think it's funny. We've been talking about how funny she is, but also how grotesque it is. And how it is possibly there's a kind of unkindness to it as well. Take it away. So yeah, this is the introduction of the wife of somebody that Elizabeth has been invited to cook for. And this is when we first meet her. She was all together like a huge old doll, Elizabeth thought. Even her hair had a very wide passing in it like dolls hair. And she wore it in a long permanently waived bob. Like Rita Hayworth in ancient films. Misses Cole's head and the shoulders of her black crepe dress were showered with dandruff and well over and above her Chanel number 5, Elizabeth could detect the odor of cheap raspberry jam that so often accompanies this condition. What I mean? What? The moment that they were alone, this is Cole's grip on Elizabeth's arm, tightened. And just as Elizabeth was going to pull herself away from this rather surprising them horrible person. She said, why he's away, quick, write down her number. I only want to see her. She had let go at last and was fumbling desperately with her bag. You look for me darling. Any old scrap will do. I just want to give her my love. And for a moment, Elizabeth found herself looking down into the huge, heavily made up dolls face, whose eyes are of such open agony that she felt her hair prickling with shock. She would do anything to stop someone looking like that. The bag, which it seemed quite small was crammed with dirty broken spilt things, loose aspirins, coated with brown face powder, a miniature bottle of Gordon's gin. A gray elastic sanitary belt, a screwed up packet, which could contain no smokable cigarette. A little Disney type dog made of pipe cleaners, a chiffon handkerchief with the swans down puff attached. Some cloakroom tickets, pencils, broken, biro top off. A tube of something that we're losing out to the bottom. It's such a good passage, isn't it? Brilliantly. Brilliant Andrew brilliant. What I think is interesting is if you're reading that as quote unquote if it's 1969 and you were a review and you're reading that as quote unquote, a woman's novel. You'll be thinking, what's this stuff? What's this shit? Why? This isn't right. You know, it's really Gritty. But the way in which people described it as the ending, especially as an unsuccessful genre trick. Something she tries to pull off that doesn't work as if it's kind of like, you know, it's some kind of weird gear change towards the end.
