"Trying to finish as quickly as possible adds pressure and takes a lot of the fun out of it the whole reason. You're sending the goal and accomplishing. The goal is because it's going to add to your picture your overall lifestyle so this is another reason why when effort is involved when goals are set from a time line or deadline after awhile. You'll stop now again. If this has happened to you it makes sense. This is not a problem either. There is a culture of lose twelve pounds and ten days and make money fast and fill in the blank. That have you hyper focused on the deadline. Being a measure of whether or not you are successful so if there is pressure to finish a goal in a deadline that may influence what you actually choose to do so taking a step back at your big picture takes that deadline away for a minute so you have permission to just kind of explore an imagine. Hey right here in this moment if there were any deadlines what would i actually like to accomplish. Overall benefit number three is a big picture addresses the type of lifestyle overall. And routine that you wanna have not just focused on one task so instead of simply saying i wanna pay off my house. The big picture gives you a chance to look at how you would like to feel throughout your day and what you would be doing and accomplishing like how you would like to start your day work through the day end of the day while also accomplishing paying off your house. Do you guys see the difference. It's not just hyper focused on. I gotta do this. I gotta finish. I want to pay off my house and now that's all you can talk about the big picture overall. Let you look at. How do you want to feel as you live your life. If you could craft your day what would it look like. The big picture takes a look at all of that and when you're clear on all of that the goals you'd like to accomplish our clearer to so instead of feeling stuck on questions like what do i want to do. What should i do next. I don't know what to do. And i can't decide taking a look at your big picture gives you a guide to wear to start based on your overall desired outcomes so not just the goals doing but how you want to think and feel experience your life in between because that's really what life is about. It's not just check. check check. Check check off to do lists. It's why you're checking them off. Why these goals are there and how you're gonna live your life so that big picture step back takes into consideration. All that's important to you your priorities your absolute knows and all the other things in your life. You want a part of it like family community spiritual things travel where you live all the things so see. How much more personal. "To swap output insecure. There's no pressure to feel confident in place of insecurity so this is really great news because sometimes you don't wanna be feeling confident you wanna be feeling something else just not insecure in that moment so you could empower yourself and feel instead in emotions such as love relaxed curious interested or connected all of those are emotions and sometimes it's easier to try on love instead of confidence like if you're making this your practice you're learning how to change what you're thinking of yourself and you're not used to thinking confident thoughts you have more of the insecure thoughts there. It may be easier to try on love or curious or connected as opposed to confidence in the beginning so when you're changing that relationship with yourself those emotions can work to bridge you over to confidence and at the core changing the relationship with yourself is identifying the critical thoughts. You have about yourself right now. The obvious ones and the sneaky subconscious ones. They're not always fancy. You could be thinking for example. I'm not that good. I'm not that good. That's more the tone of how that wind comes out. Sounds completely harmless but it has an impact so we identify those. We acknowledge them as a start here and really uncover wire brain. Thinks it's important to keep offering that to you at the same time you start treating yourself like a vesti and you don't need permission for that it won't you selfish. It's allowed all the things you wanna feel all the things you wish you could say to yourself all the things you wish others would say about you. You acknowledge all of those right from the get. Go right now. You can do that today. And you can change the dialogue with yourself to be more supportive instead of critical and because you've identified the critical thoughts and you start making yourself more aware of those when they do pop up. They don't have as much of an impact it's like. Oh hey hey. I see you. I'm not that good. I'm not talking to you today. not today. and it's more than thinking positive. And that's what i really want to see here. It's not just saying. I'm amazing and you don't even believe it. It's really addressing why you feel insecure now being clear on that and giving yourself permission to feel confident now and love yourself now swapping out critical talk to support love understanding all the things we do for best already so you know you can do it already. Doing those things estee in new. Get to do that for you to starting right now you can start as little or big as you want. And there's no rush in this process. I want you to know that because it's a relationship it's a relationship change for life. You are committed to yourself for life almost like if this was a marriage to the love of your life. You're in it for life so there's no rush to hurry up and love yourself. It's a journey that you take every day grows every day. You think you know yourself now you think you love yourself now. The more you get to know yourself. The more that love grows it is amazing. So even if you start with one or two supporter for placements each week to have your back when you notice a thought like you're an idiot that is still making an impact to grow your relationship in a beautiful way and when you see a thought like you're an idiot pop up you don't have to entertain that you don't have to fix it. You simply notice it This week i noticed my brain. Say you're an idiot about five times so interesting. But i'm learning to be a woman who loves herself. I love myself but let it be authentic to you. If you're not there yet. That is okay. You can try something like. I'm learning to love myself. We don't erase emotions. Insecurity is one of them but you can absolutely identify it. So you're never a victim of insecurity. It's not who you are. You are a strong woman. You are smart capable and sometimes you will feel insecure and insecure as a signal that you're thinking something about yourself and thoughts are always options. I made a very special training for you. That will help create a better relationship with yourself. Starting today it's a jump. Start it addresses how to get out of your head what emotions are and how feel you. You're not a victim to any of those emotions so you can use all of that the relationship with yourself and your emotions to make sure your mind up with your goals and you're not going after goals to saw four insecurity. It's really the opposite when you feel confident. When you feel love for yourself you choose goals that lineup with you. So that training is free and it includes a video training bonus workbook. Have a ton of stuff in the back of my RAV four that I have to go take to donate ton of clothes have some picture frames and things. So this is Salvation Army right here by my house said something. I'm taking everything to be accepting donations. Yeah. You've checked, believe. I believe so we've we've taken donations before to Salvation Army and different places. Good, well stuff during the pandemic, they weren't accepting donations. Okay, like certain places were in certain places weren't so I'd reach out ahead of time. Elstree. Sure, you know, I'll do that What he's taking to disclose that are out of style, or just don't fit or Clothes I don't wear anymore, and everything's in really good condition. I washed everything unfolded. All nice, and it's in the bag. Yeah. Little bags like individualized. Oh, no, no, They're in big trash bags, but Oh, really Nice there in little bags smelling black. Hefty. Well, yeah, but you know, it's a cinch Sack, So it's easy to carry. Yeah. Kevin. What? He got planted anything. For the past couple months. We've been doing a couple days a week like a little one on one zoom session with Molly's old preschool teacher out of studio City. We you know, we kept the thing going with her teacher because she loves her teachers so much, But it took a couple of weeks off for the holidays and stuff. And so today is the first zoom session back together. And God, did I? We? I should say we drop the ball like we had all these things to work on with. Oh, did absolutely none of it. You know, I'm like I already I'm starting to get the sweats that I have to confront Miss Christie and say we didn't do any of this. No, it's like what, my mamma! No! Yeah, you forget stuff and you take a break and you put it to the side and you're living your life like Colin takes piano lessons. Yes, He's all right. But his piano teacher over soon will be like, OK. When's the last time you practice and I'm the background was the last time you had a lesson. Oh, yeah. That's the last time you practiced. Yeah, That's what it was nothing against hers. That's him. So I didn't give you like 15. Minutes day. And these when I was a kid, I had to play the sax, but at least 45 minutes a day. Whoa! Yeah, jeez. When I played piano. It was like that. It was maybe an hour every day was a really A for you. Sort of This was for this program where I was like the third explain at sea, son. I was in college. I was maybe nine or 10. But in music class is the professor Would I would be like the student to this professor, She would be teaching me. Like how to read notes and all the stuff and I would play for this college class. I don't even remember why exactly. I got into that. But I was apparently really good piano. So they put me in this college course to help other college students learn how to teach, I guess I don't know. I just remember having that on Wednesdays, and then I'd be at school thinking Oh, my gosh, I have that today. I gotta I gotta practice like I wouldn't be so nervous to go. I think I got it. Okay, So the teacher had you there for the other kids to practice teaching with a child. Okay. It wasn't that you were like this amazing pianist and you have a sudden our pianist. Well, I think I was a pretty good pianist because there were a bunch of kids up for it. They chose me Pianist. I said. Boys. Valentine In the morning Hollywood headlines. "Them out but giving yourself permission. To celebrate doesn't devalue in any way suffering that someone else is having i read this quote somewhere and i wish i could remember who it was so i could give them credit but anyway it's not my quote but it's good and i'm going to mess it up but it's something to the effect of being sick or getting sick doesn't help someone who is sick and it just struck me when i read. That hurt it. But the point i got from it was there are moments that you are with someone that you want. Express sympathy empathy compassion but in the world suffering is happening all over the place all day long. It is absolutely expected right now. It's part of this. World is and there is also a lot to celebrate. And you better believe that. I am going to celebrate every single moment. I possibly can and go after goals. Because i am alive when you celebrate. You don't devalue someone else's suffering no way it's the opposite it is a celebration of life your crew loves to celebrate your crew love tissue powerful and your crew. Is there for you when you're suffering and you're not celebrate and even in those moments there are opportunities to celebrate something. All of it is a human experience right now. And don't miss out on the celebration because you're guilting yourself for being alive nikki. Wouldn't want that for me. She wouldn't want it for you either. Wendy you'll get two meter. I am one hundred percent going to see her again. And when i do. I'm going to tell her how much i missed her. And how much. She was part of the inspiration to celebrate my life as much as possible. And they're gonna be plenty of times that. I'm going to cry because i miss her. And i'm allowing that for myself too. But this is the tool that i want you to have in your tool belt. The permission slip to celebrate. It's okay to enjoy. The things are going after. It's okay to enjoy the successes that you've had. It's okay more than okay to celebrate this beautiful gift up life as much as possible. I love you all so much nazih. Next week they lovely. "Of the circumstances so there's your value and there's what you think about your value and good enough it just doesn't apply because your value is one hundred percent right now. That's what human life is worth one hundred percent value now that being behind us. What do you really want to. Are you sitting goal setter. Just good enough. Which really means you're not happy with it. Why set that goal. We're busting good enough on both sides. So we've busted good enough as it applies to you. Let's bust-up got off as it applies to the goals that you're setting because if you catch yourself saying this is good enough. That is a signal that you don't want it and goals don't fuel you. You feel the goals so if you're starting the goal with it's good enough you will not power it. You'll be hard to be consistent with it. You'll want to quit it more. You won't wanna put your energy to it you're like battery and those goals are like the devices so no matter how cool it is. The iphone won't charge the battery. It uses that energy. And it's the same with you in your goals your goals. No matter how lovely sounding they are will not power you you power them. That's how amazing the human life is so valuable. So what do you want to put that value in energy towards definitely something. That's not just good enough. You're living this life with the power of decision make a powerful choice and you will feel powerful and connected just like a battery and if you don't feel powerful it's not because you're not good enough that's busted it's because you're not lined up with your goals so like a battery in backwards battery can have full charge. But if it's in their backwards not going to be connected doesn't mean there's a problem with the battery so let's get you popped back in charged ready to power the goals you actually want to do trying to force yourself to do goals that you're not connected to is like trying to force a battery in backwards. Why do that. Why make that the focus. It's just not gonna work. So we take all the time and energy away from china force goals that were not lined up with to just popping you back in lined up with the goals that you're ready to power takes a lot less energy. You have a lot more brain space. There's less yeses to everything which gives you more power for specific results. So if you're going in ten different directions that haven't been validated. You will give less energy to each of those thinks so you may feel like you're running yourself ragged and not getting the results you want if that to remember since goals don't fuel you more things don't give you more energy so this is not a problem if you see this happening for you it simply because of those two things one trying to do goals that you don't really wanna do trying to force that to happen to thinking your not good enough both of those busted so choose what you really want from a powerful place thought then fully power those goals because you've chosen those goals from very clear specific. Pleace of why you wanna do them a net. They're important to you. You will feel completely different. You will feel like a completely different woman and you won't be going around thinking you're tired all the time. That's what's so cool about this is when you have a fully charged battery and you're not expending the energy all over the place. You have more of your charge all throughout the day and what happens you start setting specific time for rest real rest and overwhelm is just not a part of the daily routine is just not so if that's what you really want. That's what happens when you bust good enough on both sides it's busted with that extra brain space. What are you ready to power. Let's do it like right. Now is the perfect time to start with a coach in your corner. Don't do it out of fomo. Don't do it out of rush. 'cause you have to do it do it. Because you're just really ready for these new results. You waited long enough. Been on the back burner. You're ready to get stirred up. The front burner is ready for you made. So let's take this work deeper. Miss christie williams dot com. Schedule your console. And let's get you busting good enough on both sides. I'll see you in your console lovely and have a great week. Hey lovely if you wanna be more competent on the outside half the start on the inside. If you don't take time to create an amazing relationship with yourself. "Just like oh i see you in there. I see when they're not good enough. Not today okay. So i want you to really see this as playful and really as looking at your thoughts as the brain break it is. This will change so much for you if you don't change anything else and you give your brain a rain every day and give yourself you guys. I used to say five minutes but come on. We can find ten minutes a day ten minutes a day to think. And look at what you're thinking and once you start this practice just like anything else. You're gonna see how amazing it feels and how you get to clear your head and it really feels like that break you're looking for. You're going to crave it and it'll probably be something that you do more than ten minutes but even the ten minutes is valuable to give yourself a break so like no phone. No email not watching. Tv like wall. You're thinking this time set aside undistracted with you and your brain and looking at those thoughts writing them down on paper. Oh so freeing you'll like if you love the the way freeing feels do this practice if your brain a break look at your thoughts. Write them down and they'll be out of there right so we don't take time to look at our thoughts. Were thinking they get backed up in there. It's like taught jam. We're like walking around like feeling confused overwhelmed and unsure of what decisions to make just because our head is like clogged and it's not because we're crazy and it's not because we can't do it and it's not because we don't have the skills or not good enough or anything like that is simply because we haven't given our brain a break that literally. Is it if you wanna feel more certain and more sure about the decisions you're making it really just comes as a side effect as a byproduct to giving your brain break. The what a great bonus You set aside time to write down. What's on your mind and writing it down gets all assaults on the paper out of your head so you can be out of your head and your brain doesn't have to keep holding onto it keeping it all of it down so if you ever hear yourself say i don't want to think about it. That is usually the signal that it's time to think about it. But not in the way where you still instead of trying to figure it out in our heads we the words on paper and it releases the pressure you give your brain of and when your brain is cleared out. It's easier to take a look at what you really are thinking and what you want to do next. Do you wanna make changes. Do you want to keep things as you get to decide that. So clear and certain from that place and making this a daily practice. You'll see the difference how you feel. It's going to become a useful tool in your tool belt before you take on any other things in your day because like what a better way to start your day than with a clear brain a clear head and when i did this last week for a week like i definitely had watched a couple movies here and sent a couple of emails but as a whole i gave my brain a huge break and my brain became an idea mish so the thoughts that were going in and coming out worrying just ones on repeat. They felt some new and creative and they were baby. Because i gave my brain of break from the incoming data but even if it's just like chunks of time that we're just going to social media. Tv emails like without a purpose like really to distract ourselves. Give our brain a break from the incoming data. You learn a about yourself and as women. That's what we want. We want to be confident about who. We are what we wanna do. And no one hundred percent. we're going to follow through. Have our back get it. The painful parts are when they're always opposite of that like who am i. What am i doing. And i don't know if i can. Yeah psych. so that's what we really want. We want to know about ourselves to be confident in who we are what we wanna do. And no one hundred percent we can follow through and do it and that gets so much clearer the more you listen to what you're seeing in your head and give your brain a break. The daily brain break is a little interview with yourself to see how you feel. And what's on your mind and treat yourself like best. He just like that friendship. We talked about earlier. You're interested and what you have to say. It makes a big impact and what you decide the rest of the day. Because you're head is clear and you're more confident about who you are and what you wanna do all right so you guys enjoy your brain breaks. Can't wait to hear how this goes for you. Share all of it with me on instagram miss christie williams and have a great week. I'll see an extent. Hey lovely if you wanna be more competent on the outside half the start on the inside. "Have a body. That is a beautiful thing. Then start looking for all the beauty you already see. Then start looking at the areas that you know don't look and discover the beauty there. Other people can tell you you're beautiful. But whether or not you will believe it will come down to what you choose to think about your body and that is choice criticizing your body does not produce. Anything productive. It keeps you stuck. So if you do feel stuck in your body, this is why it's not because of what it looks like on the outside. It's what you're thinking about it. Your body is beautiful. "So, hang out with me and I'll show you exactly how to do that. Let's get started. Lady. I have got some exciting news to share with you this week. I am officially employed. By myself. So pray bump bump bump it out. As of this past weekend I finished up A. Role. The company that I was contracting with, which has been an amazing experience. and. I am officially just running a CEO of my own business right now, which I have been the CEO and owner of my business for two years. But I am now officially putting all of my work into that business. As a business owner. And I have had some amazing roles in different companies over. Gosh how long has it been twenty years? A lot longer I think it's twenty five years. Yeah. I think I've been working for twenty five years so. Working at so many different companies over the years and. I have gotten so many different skills met so many people's learned a lot. Pretty much every job by the for head I've enjoyed. My work there and learning and. Meeting the people and. Now, it's just like a new chapter in business for me. Now, it's me being a business owner and one day being an employer. And outside of just myself. It's just very exciting. It's very exciting and want to say thank you to all of the companies I've ever worked with before if you're listening to the podcast and. I have really enjoyed my journey to this place. It feels so good to be here. Like I said, it's been about two years where I've officially been growing this business. Miss Christie, and of course, it wasn't easy. If you are a entrepreneur, you know what I'm talking about. Takes a lot of consistency fails getting back up. Not. Wanting to do it. Then having days where you're super excited about it and. Just, being very on purpose and strategic, and then you have a business. But it's funny because you would think at this point. That it's kind of like I'm done I have the business, but it's really just the beginning. That's the fun thing. About having a business or? Anything is that there's always so much to learn and experience. Really never get bored truly if you don't want to be bored, there's so much available in creation and in life. And a lot to celebrate. So doing that today with my business. which leads so nicely in today's topic for the podcast. Confidence in your priorities. Or having priorities. So. Maybe right now you're thinking I already know my priorities and I'm already comfort in them. And that is super-duper. What I want to offer you here is that Taking a look at your priorities to make yourself even more in line with them. And more confident in them. Is available to you. So it's like asking yourself. Why wouldn't I want to be even more in line with my priorities or more confident in them? What I noticed comes up for a lot of women is that they worry that things they wanted to. We'll take away from their priorities. So even self care like real self care. I'm talking about like putting your oxygen. Mask gone. Not just talking about facials or polishing your nails which are all lovely things but I'm talking about taking care of yourself so you can be available to take others. So we acknowledged that we have the priorities and they exist in our mind and they're there and we're even taking action doing them. And whatever it is for you, and then we go on our way without really defining how we. Want to show up for our priority, which is a difference. So there's the priorities that we have. And then it's knowing and defining clearly how we are GONNA show up for an in and in line with our priorities when that is crystal clear, it becomes a lot easier to know what you want to do not do. And how you WanNa make decisions moving forward, which is always super empowering. For anyone especially a woman because we have a lot of indecision sometimes. So when we don't take time to do this. And to really define how we'RE GONNA show up in our priorities just to make it that much more clear for us. There's a lot of pressure in our brains. On making decisions instead of clear heart and mind to make decisions. So consider the difference. When you're making decisions out of pressure. What happens? When you make decisions with a clear mind. What happens? Good to know, right. So the first thing is. In having confidence in your priorities. Is defining what your number one priorities are, and I say number one priorities plural. Because I know some of you have different ones that you really wanna put really at the top priority which of course totally. Okay. Because this is your practice for you. So I like to say, my number one priorities are spiritual things. Relationship with my creator and my heavy. So of course, that's more than one thing but I consider those my number one priorities. Now. We could just go off from this point and just assuming from memory and what we already know. That's already included in those priorities. But then it's not clearly defined in your mind. And since these things are priorities. It's a very refreshing practice to sit down and write out what that means and how you want to show up there. So that's number one. And this is what I really want to highlight is writing down. These answers for yourself. So you can be driving in the car and listening and kind of answering the questions. But the whole purpose of. This practice in having company, your.

"A mere two years ago, he told us quote the following my roots go back within my lifetime to my paternal grandmother. Miss Christie. Miss Christie shoes, knows Kristina Brown, a descendant of Hamilton Brown, who is on record as a plantation and slave owner and founder of Brown's town. He wrote this and opposed to the Jamaican global Hamilton Brown built the church erred Towns Anglican Church, where he said his grandfather is buried, is where he himself was baptized and Confirmed on a research archive of Jamaican records indicates that at one point in 18 17 Hamilton Brown own scores of slaves. The majority were brought in from Africa, although he owned many Creole slaves. As well. So it's weird that job in an era when the left is demanding tearing down statues, Nancy Pelosi's demanding the removal of anyone having anything to do with the Confederacy because of the history of of their support for slavery. Demanding that that be removed from the halls of Congress right that using Pope paintings that then the Democrat Party would turn around and have as their vice presidential candidate. Ah, woman whose great grand parents are great great grand parents, own slaves and the plantation. Well, the whole the whole exercise is really about power is not about any principle or anything, And it's not like you know, Of course, you know you should not be held accountable for the sins of a family member. You should be held accountable for your own stands where you should be celebrated. Your own merit. That's of course, the explanation on DH. It just it gets to another point of the kind of a phony anus of so many attacks. Think, obviously is the point that you're making the fraudulence of so many attacks. Um, and meanwhile, like she easily switches into this destructive mode when it helps advance her career right, So she accuses Joe Biden of fraternizing with and enjoying the company of Racists because, by implication he himself is racist, and she attacks him. For not supporting forced busting when, by the way, you families of all colors were opposed to force blasting, forced that that didn't help families. But regardless, it doesn't matter what use it now as a cudgel against Joe Biden to make him seem like a racist, You know, she indulges the idea that Joe Biden was sexually abusing women by getting two hands with them, she said. You know, I believe the women, she said. So she goes back and forth sheet. It doesn't really matter to her. She uses character attacks when it mattered when it helps her and then She doesn't try and live up to the same principles when it works against her. So do you think that the the Democrats have the mainstream media so firmly in their pockets that they will be able to dodge all of this hypocrisy that on one hand, they're going to report about how you know anything having to do with racism. Anything that even even though somebody did something good if it even has a hint of racism or a hint of connection to the Confederacy, that it must be torn down and then in the next story, promote common Ares. Mary. They made it seem like President Trump's consideration of giving his acceptance speech at Gettysburg. Was somehow a celebration of the Confederacy and white supremacy. That's how far the media has taken these issues to the point of complete insanity, an absurdity Why would the site of the Confederacy is greatest defeat? Be a celebration of white supremacy in the Confederacy? It wouldn't It would be a celebration of of conquering of maintaining the union of pushing back a rebellion of pushing back an effort to maintain white supremist against slavery. That was, That's what that was. That's what was achieved there so the media is willing to distort that into the complete opposite picture. Of course, they're willing to go toe vulgar lengths in order to advantage. The Joe Biden campaign and her Donald Trump problem with that is, I don't think that Donald Trump in his campaign will give her the same, I guess consideration and the same cover, so that's going to be interesting, more on comma Harris and her history and what she's bringing to the table. To help Joe Biden coming up next. It's not 7 15 Now. "A different one. It's also extremely valuable in this practice to see. What you already believe in think about yourself, because remember you're already believing in yourself now even if you don't think you are. And you want to see what you are thinking about yourself before. You kinda just jump into thinking new things about yourself. This is so valuable, but I'm not gonNA play you guys. This is hard work. But it is so. Worth it. I like to describe this as an exclusive interview. With yourself. You're having an interview with yourself, but it's private. It's exclusive and it's on your terms. So if you had the privilege of an exclusive interview with someone. He really wanted to know what they were thinking about. Something because it's so valuable, and it was going to help you and fuel you. And move you forward and help you reach your goals. You wouldn't force anything out of that. You would be listening. And you would be patient. So to help you with this I made a tool that I want you to have. It's called an interview with yourself, and it's free guide. It's a worksheet that helps you see what you currently think and believe about yourself. And I'll go ahead and put it in the show notes, but you can go and grab it at Miss Christie Williams. Dot Com forward. Slash interview worksheet. There's no ashes in there. Just forward slash interview worksheet. It so. I included instructions.

"F-? Don lemon hardship is I right on the flag. Jamaica, gold recalls, the shining sun black reflects hardships and green represents the land. The flag colors are gold. Green and black the rust afar. In flag ads read for the bloodshed. This guy is an ignorant a-hole. And while that's true wasn't really on topic until I received this just this morning. It is a chapter, and it may be the whole may just be an essay. I don't know was a I think it's from a book the title of the book is reflections of a Jamaican father. Does this remind you anything? Yet sounds like Obama's book reflect. Yes, reflections of Jamaican father by Donald J Harris. This is KOMO as dad now, if this if we were on a mainstream news program, this might actually be some pretty big news when I'm gonna read to you do not expect to hear this anywhere. But here I will read only two paragraphs as a child growing up in Jamaica often heard it said by my parents and family and friends member we come from to this day. I continue to retain the deep social awareness and strong sense of identity, which that grassroots to make in philosophy fed in me as a father I naturally sought to develop the same sensibilities in my two daughters. Born and bred in America, comma, was the first in line to have it planted Maya came two years later and had the advantage of an older sibling as a mentor. It is for them to say, truthfully. Now, not me what if anything of value. They carried from that early. Experience into adulthood, my one big regret is that. They did not come to know the very to know very, well, the two most influential women in my life, miss Christie, and miss iris my roots. Go back within my lifetime to my paternal grandmother, miss Christie, nee Cristiana Brown descendant of Hamilton Brown who is on record as a plantation and slave owner and founder of Brownstown. Her grandmother was a slave owner. What come Allah Harris's? Great grandmother was a slave owner and plantation owner in Jamaica and the founder of Brownstown. She her roots are slaveholders. This is good. Clipping? There's no clip. How fantastic is this. That's fantastic. Fantastic. Picture a picture of her and there's a picture of her with a with a grandma Kamla with grandma IRAs. It should be rousting camel from Hamilton. If she ever shows up for a presentation. Out. It's in the show notes. Ooh. Wait a minute. Actually should make sure I don't have that. Oh, yeah. I gotta change one thing there. I don't want the Email address exposed where I got it from obviously. But yeah, there you go Comal Harris, great granddaughter of slave owners in Jamaica. That can have some doubt come up. Not one dollar bet right now. This will not become a thing. No one will ever hear about it. After this take you make that ten dollar bet. That's that's a little beyond. My means. We're trying to buy a house. I can go five dollar Bill though. Don't you only one still that you were going to send me crisp dollar Bill? Yeah. Bands. Now. All right. There you go. That was my big reveal for the day. That was very funny. It's not funny. It's just great. Well, it's funny too. Because it we'll see we'll see how I mean. Some of these people out there man it like how well you can hear this. This is Elizabeth Warren who was so tone deaf and colorblind to or situation that she doesn't even have an answer ready for a heckler..
