Dr. Keith Rose on the Disturbing Issues at US Food Processing Plants

"Keith, what's going on with the food shortage in America with the food plants that are being destroyed? What's the story here that we might be missing? Charlie, I think we have to kind of go up to a 100,000 feet and look at the total picture. Like you said, the food plants, there's been several accidents, fires, whatever you want to call it food plants. There's been a large number of poultry plants or places that store poultry, the chickens have just been dying. We're seeing food. We're starting to see the evidence of food shortages. So one or two of those plant fires, one or two of those incidences might be, you know, happenstance. But when you see them all together on top of the shortages and fertilizer on top of the shortages and chemicals for pesticides on top of the blocking of major railways from transporting goods from the West Coast, you're starting to see a picture come together where I believe this is a coordinated effort to bring shortages to cause some type of

Let Us Not Forget Joy Reid’s Homophobic Blog Posts and Subsequent Hacking Lies

"No joy Reid had a blog. 2007, 2008, 2009, before she became a hostel innocent behead. And in her blog, she made a number of posts smearing, mocking, attacking, gaze. She implied that Tom Cruise was gay. Karl rove. She said was gay. The then senator of Florida. Chris Christie. Charlie Christie. Charlie Chris weaver. She's called him miss Charlie, miss charley, stop pretending brother, it's okay, you don't go for the ladies. And another one she wrote, now he's married to a girl, Charlie Chris is being sought for all kinds of good stuff. Quote, I can just see poor Charlie on the honeymoon, ogling the male waiters and taking to himself, God, do I actually have to see her naked? It included a joke with Chris having sex with senator John McCain? She implied that chief justice John Roberts son is gay. She also said this, quote, most straight people cringe at the sight of two men kissing. She also said quote, adult gay men tend to be attracted to very young post pubescent types. And in one post, she said, quote, does that make me homophobic? Probably close quote. Now these posts emerged after she got a job as a host on MSNBC. And guess what, she denied making them. She said she'd been hacked. She was a victim of a homophobic hate crime. NBC hired a forensic specialist to determine whether or not she'd been hacked. She wasn't. She lied. And later on, she acknowledged she'd posted them.

"Yeah, but But, yeah, I mean, they are set to tour and it will be certainly different without Charlie Watts. But you know who has been Touring several years without John Entwistle and Keith Moon died many years ago. So a lot of the bands from the sixties and seventies, you know are still around. Maybe not all the The members, But But, yeah, this is a loss because, like I said, I think Charlie wants, uh, those who knew him. They really liked him, and I think the fans Did like him for what we talked about before. Not only a great musician, but just a very unique personality and added Some mystique to the band that already has an amazing persona. No doubt one of the greatest drummers of his generation, for sure, in The New York Times will be rolling Stone Rolling Stone voted him number 12 of the all time Great rock drummers. How about that in the in The New York Times a bit. They mentioned that he moved in with his band AIDS but bandmates back in 1963 and then immersed himself in Chicago blues records, and that's what you were talking about earlier that unique sound that he had Studying the different young and don't forget. The Rolling Stones were hugely influenced by Chicago blues and chess records and effect earlier in their career. When they came to Chicago they recorded at chess records. Yeah. You know, down I missed that South Michigan Avenue and whenever they would play here, they would always go to small clubs and play with, you know, Muddy Waters or buddy guy I and they were completely into the Chicago Blues scene. I wish Chicago is the city would embrace that legend and that legacy more because it should really be a tourist attraction, like like it is in Memphis or in other places. Chicago Blues, especially to the English rock stars of the sixties was a huge, huge influence of the music that many of us have grown up with. And yet we don't know that much about it. And yet they know all about it. Yeah, they do, and they love it, And we should have a museum on Michigan Avenue. As far as I'm concerned, there are a few vacancies out we I mean, we talk about Chicago's But in terms of having a place for blues lovers to go to as a pilgrimage, I've been to some members a few times and I've been to deal street. I've been to Sun records. Where Elvis recorded and it's a tangible place and chess records. Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters, Chuck Berry, all those people that helped formed rock and roll and the blues all practice. So I think we need to do a little more than lip service. We need to actually build a place where people can go and absorb themselves in it. And it would be an amazing tourist attraction. And it would draw people from all over the country. It drew the Rolling Stones. Yeah. Amen. Amen. To all of the above Elton Jim. Thank you for calling in this afternoon. I appreciate it. How about that? I know a little bit more about music than just Elton John. Huh? This it boggles my mind to the fact I mean, the depth the depth. It's amazing. Thanks, Jim. Take care, Miss Charlie. Yeah? Yeah. Thank you for that tribute. It's the bottom of the hour. So we're gonna get to the news from the North Western medicine newsroom. If you've got an insurance question, you could talk to your nana. But she'd probably just tell you how she insured her couch from stains.

"I agree. And if he got a a year or two or three to develop as a starter not just like learning the system and actually getting out. Because we've all had you know. Been at at at work at a job. And yeah and you could do all the orientation you want and the instructions and to your and they're doing it and make mistakes and figuring out what to do in certain situations in and get constant exposure you know and it doesn't always work but but i just think people just give up on these guys just all across the nfl way too way too quickly for my for my in my opinion. Yeah and quickly to. I just need to give a quick shout out to our old friend over on facebook. Anthony layered china m. man. He agrees with us. Quarterbacks make or break the team love and miss charlie. it's been too long man. And i love seeing you coming back and i know that we had some timing here where we couldn't figure out how to get the streams to come back onto facebook. We've been back here more recently. So great to see a back your anthony as well and i did like your article is well following the eagles game stating that. Hey steeler nation. It's okay to like and respect the talents of both right basic rudolph and dwayne haskins and they did like honestly. They both played a great game and i had no problem with either their performance. Even dobbs dive adopts play that when when he threw the interception late in the eagles game he played better in the first the hall of fame. Game he yeah late but yeah but yeah. I was watching it. Because i was. You know i go to these running groups and i was. I was watching it at a bar. And you know when you're at a bar in the tv's on usually the sounds down so i'm just watching it at this table at a bunch of friends like they both look pretty good to me and i really wasn't paying attention to twitter or anything like that but then you start reading twitter and everybody. Yeah it's like it's an either or not eight boats right. This guy's better notes and don't get me wrong. I love the story for dwayne at haskins. I want him to succeed on this team. I think he has a higher ceiling than rudolf. But rudolph's doing well. I can root offered still going out thrown eight for nine last game semi some yards. And you know he knows how to play in the system exactly. Yeah i think. And i'm excited about doing that. That was a story that would be a former first round. Pick and you kind of pick them up here. There's another example of somebody who coaches in washington kind of gave up on him. Yeah he had some off the field stuff but you know the thing he got in trouble. For what the i guess the strip club or whatever partying how many young football players and professional athletes in general do that stuff. So i'm not that worried about that but there's a guy that they kind of gave up on after two years and how he's here. Yeah so that's a very intriguing story and you know i. I watched last week. That saw him like he really looked like you could see the the pedigree there you could see why he was a former first round pick right and he looked so comfortable in the pocket and moving around in the pocket and throws he made i. I'm really excited about him. But at the same time. I mean you know mason. Rudolph look pretty decent to really good and and this system like and that's the great thing about matt candidate because they are both arguably different styles of quarterback haskins is a little bit more elusive in the pocket. Mason rudolph is more of a structured thrower. Nand both look good and matt candidates system because he utilizes that play action in the motion before everything happens to make sure that when they are getting the ball or when they're doing a quick bootleg they're going to have the ball on the edge and hopefully be able to take time and make a play so that that's why i'm finally happy that they're starting to do it with ben rothlisberger as well because he was nothing but loving john elway growing up. It's why he wears number seven. John elway made a career of play action bootleg absolute career hands to go literally. Since we took on bruce arians. I think that's why we stopped doing bootlegs. Yeah with ben rothlisberger right the so coming back into that kind of system being able to have him do a fake off the najji shootout to the other side and have great receivers downfield on half field. And he's has the strength to throw it to the other half of the field rats the type guy that we know that ben rothlisberger is he can make that. Throw the full field. Where most most quarterbacks going on that boot you got half the field to work yeah right. And that's our elway was the same way he'd throw it all the way across six yards downfield on the opposite sides which is like an eighty yard pass in the air. It's like saying Yeah he was just such extraordinary talent. I i was such a big fan growing up. He was one of my favorites to as a kid. And yeah you're right bad. He's he's never been shy about throwing us kind of passes. So you know it's gonna be interesting to see what what he does in that system and you're hearing things about him taking more and more snaps under center. Which is an exciting encouraging. 'cause if he's doing it in practice he's probably gonna wanna do it in the game and you just hope it stays that way because you know how he's thirty nine years old. He's seen everything. There is a sea in the nfl. Saying start to kind of break down during the course of the year for one reason. Another what that offense is. He going to go back to the old band. A the bruce arians era. That sort of quarterback wanted you know running everything out of the shotgun but if they stay with it and stay disciplined. I it's going to be interesting to see what kind of results they get him. Back under center for more often and she said doing the play action bootleg and everything else and scrambling where you know. Yes he's just a exceptional talents. He should have no problem adapting to that now. Not at all and especially like this feels to me also like denver to do with elway at the end of his career. You know just pure arm talent. He was taking his team to super bowls right. An start winning super bowls until he got that excellent complement in the backfield. With terrell davis. He put up five six seasons like five comma sick. Sek not five minutes past five six seasons in a row. Now that went to back to back super bowls and then this is what i can feel with harris harris's that kind of talent. I think that he is going to really help. Slow down the defense so now they can't ke off. Hey we're third within five now. The running game is now on. The table wasn't on like we're going to third and one running game wasn't on the table so they were when they lost in washington last her. First game chase you. I'm gonna guys saying we we we. We knew what they were going to do when you ever gonna do. They weren't respecting the pass at all. And they they were keying on all those quick short passes and those you know the drop rates for these guys to so yeah. It's really having a horse. like paris. Factor thirty eight hundred yards at college was is going to be three down back. I think like eleven on belt. I don't know if it's gonna be a bell but he kind of a back. It's going to be hard to to not respect the run and You know i'm just riding the The tony defeo Love machine right now. Because i loved your other article that you threw out there. The steelers trade for joe show bert shows that they aren't interested in anything but contending and it was a well-crafted article talking about you know the steelers not to stand in pat. Obviously jacksonville is now a team on the rebuild themes like kevin colbert now is targeting these rebuilding teams to say. Hey maybe we can work out a trade..

But as promised, he is the host of the other side of midnight, which is a great show. Also co host the early news show with Juliet and me from 5 to 6 30 every morning. Very talented. Very nice kid. Frank Murano, Frankie. Good morning. Good morning, gentlemen. Thanks for having me. It's great to have Frankie five boroughs. Yes, It's a good nickname because you really do know what's going on in and around town. I think really the best at it. I'd like to think so. I'm looking forward to hearing tonight. Let me give you the guy. Yourself itself. No, but you do You know all these All these are local races. So what? The big debate going on here today at 77? W A B C. It's a very simple question, Frank. What do you most looking forward to? Well, The thing that I'm looking for is to see if the four candidates that are gonna be here today attack the leader of the pack, Andrew Yang. Now normally, there'd be no question about that. We could do that. I'll refrain from commenting But normally they'd be no question about it when you have the leading candidate absent and before other candidates all well positioned to take advantage of his absence. Normally, they'd all gang up on him. But what's different about this year's primary as opposed to previous mayor elections is there's ranked choice voting, so that means everybody that ranks Yang first. They're going to rank someone else. Second, and a lot of these candidates want to be the second choice of all the yang vote. And what did they get out of that? Well, because if Yang doesn't get 50% of the vote, then whichever candidate finished last last well goes to their second choice. No run on the run right choice vote. In other words, the first one. The first one doesn't get elected. If it's under 50%, and the second one with say, 41% gets elected, possibly If that that's why it's going to be interesting to see if they attack Yang so far, the only one that's been willing to go after Yang of the candidates that have been here today has been Eric as well. He should be the guy because he's clearly the guy that has the best chance to beat him. I'm really looking for Kathryn Garcia because Yang himself has said he's ranking Kathryn Garcia as his second choice. So it's going to be interesting to see if she returns the favor Now. We don't think Scott Stringer is going to be here today. We don't think so. But off of this New York Post story today, where he's being accused of groping an intern 20 years ago when he ran for public advocate How much do you think that hurts? I mean, look, The truth is he was not polling Well, anyway, Scott in a couple of decent endorsements over the last couple of weeks, but has not been a very good run So far. How much does this story hurt Stringer. I honestly think it's it's minimal If this is the only allegation if it becomes an Andrew Cuomo domino effect where it's a serious of allegations, I mean the question. I think you have to ask and look everybody, including Stringer said he supports the rights of these victims to come forward. Is. Why did this allegation not come forward? Within the last 20 years? I mean, he ran from Manhattan Borough president. He ran for controller and this person chose to hold back until 60 days before the Merrill primary in which he's one of the top three candidates. The timing is suspect. We'll see what she has to say it this president and you make all valid points on that, except Scott String would say. Believable women s So he he hung himself essentially limited time. We have left the major issue for the Republicans. I I believe for most New Yorkers is law and order. Now for the Democrats, Law and order means supporting the police, and they don't support the police. What is the main issue for them and how they how do they not frame a law and order as the main issue? Also, it's different. It's different issues for the different for them. They're gonna be here tonight For Eric Adams. It is law and order. He actually came out in favor of Reed. Bringing back that street crime unit that Mayor de Blasio disbanded for Kathryn Garcia. Its competence she is running as the get blank done candidate. That's her characterization. She was the snowstorm Lady by the window. Well, no, no, no, no, no, that was that was before and after her, And then she would. They put her in charge of nature when she was the head of Sanitation commission during that, snow said that got stuck in throat one in November. A couple of years ago, Damon shocked that you met they blame the casino was really all right. They blamed that on Esposito. Yeah. Yeah, I know that. There's been so many snow storms that have been bottled under the de Blasio administration. One gets lost Diana Morales, who's gonna be here? She's going to be running as the most far left wing candidate we've ever seen. And then Ray Maguire is going to try to convince Wall Street and the business community that he's a friend but also convincing the minority community that he's the P. Diddy and the Jay Z candidate because they both endorses Valerie Jarrett, his campaign manager. I know I know. I know they're friendly, but I don't think she's officially a part of the campaign. That isn't excellent Preview by you, Frank, Would you come back tomorrow? And then when you hear any day you want, all right, check out your welcome. People want to follow more about the race. You can follow me on Twitter at Frank Marana that Frank Murano. He's also on Instagram at Murano Vision. And once again does a great job. Other side of midnight overnight. Here on W A. B C And the early news your great friend. Thank you. We're gonna talk again, once again to actor Chris Moore. Mondo coming up in eight..

"New reporting on something that we talked about at the top of the hour. How the Trump Administration is handling the transition with the incoming by team or not handling it. We should say to a certain extent this time it involves our intelligence community. Kid. What have you learned, sir? So it's about what he usually learns. Yeah, Okay, it's there's not a lot of hot mikes lately, Howie and and I'm surprised because You think all these experts and analysts and stuff they'd be used to having a mike in front of them? And I've only been doing this a little while. How? But you told me right from the beginning. If the mikes in front of you, you just don't You just You don't curse. You don't say anything that you wouldn't want. I'm going out to the air. Yesterday, Sanders Smith from Fox had a hot, hot mic moment. And then today we have Ken Delaney and so very strange, but also, I wanted to mention a new talking point that is going on right now. On CNN is that they're keeping a list. Okay? This is not the accountability list of Trump supporters that the left wants to blackball. This is GOP senators who haven't congratulated Biden. Because that matters, but the election's not over. You see also so now who has congratulated Mitt Romney has congratulated him, right rank. Who else? Susan Collins? Yeah, go out on a limb. I think she has. Well, Susan Collins. Well, I only have the list of people who haven't You know what I grace? I'd prefer to congratulate me. I'm not a senator. But I prefer to congratulate Senator Tom tell us from North Carolina. His his. Ah. Creepy pervy. Opponent, Cal coming him conceded about an hour ago. So congratulations to Tom. Tell us A men Don't Don't Rush Senator don't feel you rush to congratulate Joe Biden. The Electoral College doesn't vote for more than a month. And you know what? How he's someone tweeted the other day, and I thought this was a really good point, they said. You know if they were so confident that Joe Biden won this and that you know, there's there's no funny business going on. What is with this Overbearing push that we all accept this so fast. You know what I'm saying? It's this rush of if you don't accept it, and even Charlie Baker and for I know we're on Newsmax right now. So some people might not know who that issue might know, Miss Charlie Parker, because that's what Joe Biden refer to him as Charlie Baker's Our governor here in Massachusetts. And he came out today and said the same thing that this was bad that Trump should not be. You know, fighting this and and how the real kicker Wass, he said. He's been a Republican for 40 years. Yeah, yeah, Like Colin Powell has been a Republican and and Jennifer Rubin. And Bill Kristol. And Mike Murphy. And who was the boot and Max Boa And whose credulous boomer robe, I always forget his name. Oh, um Ah. Yeah, I know, but that's what I'm saying. Wilson, Rick Wilson. Rick Wilson. That's the those are the kind of Republicans Oh, and I did you notice today? Dan Quayle. J. Danforth Quayle. Who's Chief of staff incident. Lee was William Kristol, Bill Kristol. He called on Trump to concede the election. Thanks then. Thanks for stabbing a real Republican in the back. By the way, How do you spell potato? Mr Vice President? By the way, how he's speaking of rhinos, the Lincoln Project tweeted out today. Defend your democracy. Okay, one Create a LinkedIn account. To message someone who works at Jones Day or Porter, right? Those air. The law firms that are helping Donald Trump three asked them how they work for an organization trying to overturn the will of the American people. Now, This is kind of that when they say unity. What they really mean is we're going to take power over and we're gonna blackball you guys were going to threaten you if we don't like what you're doing, and it's really scary. How you because this is not the first you know about of this. But it's been happening a lot where people are tweeting stuff like we have to keep track of all these trump people so that they can't get jobs anymore. And I thought we were you surprised Grace. I'm not surprised, but I am kind of amazed at how not settled the debt and and here's the thing because all the people that are doing this they they all went to college, and they took Courses in the McCarthy era in American politics, where they had a blacklist for a screen writers, actors in Hollywood and if you were, if you were labeled by the House, un American Activities Committee or one of those related organizations, you would be blacklisted from working in showbiz in Hollywood. The thing is, though, grace that all you had to do basically was change your name. You know, you just write if you couldn't act obviously a little better. You had Fact that smaller parts, but if you were screenwriter, you just had to change your name, and you could still put in this put in the scripts because no one really cared about it. But these people really care. They really want to hurt. People who work for Donald Trump. And this whole thing. This is a crazy story in The New York Times today, growing this comfort at law firm's representing Trump in election lawsuits, these heir to a big white shoe law firms in Manhattan. And they, some lawyers at Jones Day importer, Right said they're worried about undermining the electoral system by working for Donald Trump. This is his own lawyers. He's paying for these lawyers to represent him. And whatever happened to the attorney client privilege. They're going around and whispered to the New York Times. We don't like this guy we want about just as much as you do. Rain man, Haida people What kind of people forget lawyers. What kind of people are there? And you know what it is How it's. It's. It speaks to the bigger issue of Cancel culture and this doc's mentality where if we don't like someone, you know we have two docks and we have to ruin their lives. And there were two examples of this in the last couple days in Hollywood, and I know normally how he doesn't let me really talk too much about celebs here. Um, that's when he cuts my feet, but I do want to give these to. Okay. Katy Perry tweeted something she said. Oh, you know, the first thing I did after the election was called my family who are trump supporters and, you know, tell them I love them and, you know, call your families and you know a nice message. Nothing bad. I think she has a lot of family who likes Donald Trump, and she was just saying. She supports Joe Biden. But you called them and, you know, Wish them well, whatever people got mad, Oh, How dare you? They Greta tune Bird turned. How dare Katy Perry just being friendly with her family if they voted for Donald Trump, and then an even more hilarious one was Eva Longoria, who's one of the Democrats favorite celebrities. She made a comment, saying that Latino woman were the real how heroines of this election because of you know how much they came out to vote. She's now canceled because people felt that she was comparing them to black woman and saying they did a better job in the election than black women did. Grace, I think, maybe in addition to giving, giving a pass to Fox News So the daily consumption there are maybe you should Consume less. Tweets. Fewer tweets every day, Howie. Can I.

"You don't want to miss Charlie at noon. Brilliant, brilliant, young young kids. I'm old. I could say that 7 27 They're speaking. A brilliant joke. Conscious is great if you could watch Joe on TV, and he will and he will capitalize everything that just happened. You know, over the last 24 hours in the most, you know the most easiest way that we could understand it. So, Joe, Great to have you with us. I know everybody's pulling on you a uti jump on air hair jump on it, And I appreciate you joining us this morning. Are you taking your your girl to your little girl to school as we speak? Oh, no, that doesn't happen until 8 24 got it down to an exact time We dropped her off. And then I go to Xing kegs to celebrate on one o'clock and you gotta pick her up in a sober up by then. Yeah, yo, Contra, Mr Political genius, Joe, Did you know that it was that made my nine year old just told me that it's it's fluffer another day today. Did you know that? Did you know that you Dude, I did not know that. That's a great sandwich, The fluffer another command the peanut butter and fluff it for lead. You make the lunches does you don't get the lunches at school job. You know that Your dad looked at the door Dash Joe. So I just a little MacDonald sent it over to the school and everybody's happy helping out small businesses think that is Hey, Joe. So what do we do? I mean, I was so proud of my parents just the way he handled his demeanor. He was measured their was a resolve as he was. He talked about the fact that your take on this debate last night if we made Mr Thank you, Joe. Yeah. He was a great moderator of Mike Pence because the moderator that was chosen apparently decided not to show up and as actual questions, by the way, the moderator Susan Page, you'll never guess which biography She's working on right now. 01 for Nancy Pelosi. And then the next day. Yeah, yeah. And then the next presidential debate. Steve Scully, C SPAN Hayley intern for Biden. I'm not making this stuff up thinking we definitely people. The better anyway look, no questions, unpacking the courts and tense actually raised in Harris filled and answer the question. No questions. I'll antifa no questions involving the filibuster, no questions of hairs on raising money for a bail fund that helped free multiple domestic abusers and a man accused of sexually penetrating the eight year old child. Let's not bring that up it all right. And at one point, Chinese state media censored pencils, comments in China and then the money. Stop talking. The signal returned when Harris began talking No, seriously. He's a lot like our media. You are you serious? Is that with the Chinese did did they do that? Yeah. So there's actually on Twitter. You could see it. I'll tweet it out split screen, and it shows like color bars on one side when pencils talking about China doll hair it's making faces like your nine year old makes one, you know is the peanut butter's and spread correctly. It is great. I thought I was not surprised that Mike Pence did such a good job because he is good at that. And in the street like we said he did radio for all those years, but but but have have a CNN command now am I saying, I don't know when we had the best time of Twitter. Everybody listening. We went back and forth the fly the fly every day care, right? There's that Okay, right. This will make this up the fly on the head of the Don't you think countless you to say, Mr Mr Vice President doesn't fly on your head. Do you think she saw it show? I mean, do you say something? If you see the flying the vice president She told me it away this plexiglass, you know, making all those facial expressions. Their eyes are closed at the time. No, probably not. Of course, we're talking about the fly. I knew this was gonna happen or we're talking about how men Slating Harris by actually, you know, debating her and people complain that he interrupted too much. Well, the tallies in hair spoke for 39 minutes. Hence, about 35 minutes. She got former minister of speaking time but he was the one who was speaking too much. Apparently go figure according to our media. You know it. It didn't look like a game show with the plexiglass. Kind of, you know, we talk a little bit. Isn't he's behind this place Unless he can hear what we're saying. Right now. I thought it was like one of those little game shows with the 19 fifties or something, man. You know, I'm trying to picture Yeah, my all time favorite family feud, but not whatever versions on now, But with Richard Dawson, how quickly would he be cancelled by the meat to movement? You practically got the second base with like every female contestant. I don't think Richard would do too well, but it's long gone. Look, The bottom line is that Frank did a focus group last night, Right? And here's the feedback on Kamala Harris quote. Evasive, nervous, shifting. Blame caring Starkey to rehearse a basis abrasive, unsteady, rigid unpresidential. I saw that temple Harris blows away 10 58 to 39 0. Won't you take that fall? 8 45 before the debate, because when I watched objectively objectively, Mike Pence won this going away and he is a great debater. I'd say he's the best since Reagan. Quite frankly, I'm talking President Yoo. Thank you thought he had that beat. He took that Be job just reading a breaking story here. The second Donald Trump. Joe Biden debate will be virtual organizer's say That's very, very ancient. This is just breaking. Now. What that was off the Fox news That's going to be interesting to see because I wanted to see the president, you know, among the people, but the second he went among the people they would. They would accuse him of spreading the Corona virus. I think, right, Joe Uh, look, Joe Biden has advantage here because he's been burnt for this entire campaign. I would. This is a bad decision. I would have just delayed the date members for October 15th exactly a week from now. The fear is that Trump still has grown a virus in some capacity. Just put it out in the next week because the third debate isn't until the end of October..

"You got me there. Okay, so Twice this year. Now, Fish has made a mistake officially here on Sports X radio, which is great, But that's my third mistake now is actually admitting that I made the mistake. There you go. There it is quick to bail himself out. All right, let me go back to the bigs. Real quick. Uh, Tampa Bay. 25 11 fish. This team has turned it around. And you know what? I gotta give him credit because They knew the Yankees were beat up, but they've been beaten up by the Yankees so many times throughout the years, not at the trumpet, especially Yankee Stadium, and they're like, you know what We're taking these games were going We know we're better team. We know we're going to get quality pitching, and their lineup is decimated, and we're not feeling sorry for him. So if we're going to take advantage off this team missing guys like Judge instead and LeMay he was out. But tours is out now when you're missing those types of players Tampa Bay saying, You know what? Let's see if we can get ourselves a 789 game lead before all these guys get back. Absolutely. In the beginning of the season, I said that I still thought the Yankees are gonna win the division, but it I wasn't gonna be that easy and the Tampa Bay was going to give them a run for their money. And they've really done that. And remember 10, based on missing Charlie Morton to one of their better pictures. So when he comes back and joins glass now and Snell, and that's a formidable top three and the problem with the Yankees, even when they're healthy, they're offense is fantastic. But after Gerrit Cole, the starting pitching is questionable at best. And I'm shocked that they didn't do more than to fortify that rotation after Gerrit Cole because he can't be the only guy you're lying. It's a lot like the mess with Jacob deGrom, where right now diagram is the only guy you can rely on in the Metsrotation and Jericho was the only guy you can rely on the Yankeesrotation and a team that's this good. Shouldn't have one picture they can rely on. There you go. All right. White Sox 22 13 in the central. They have a game lead over Cleveland 21 14 and then Minnesota, 20 and 16. But the twins have dropped six straight and their three and seven in their last 10 fish. A lot of folks from Minnesota. They were very high on this team thought that they had this central Division that they were going to take care of business when the division thought that the White Sox and tribe would probably battle it out for second, But right now, Minnesota better get it together because you never know how it's gonna work out with those two teams outside of your 1st and 2nd place. If the White Sox for Cleveland wins and the other one takes second, Minnesota is going to be at the mercy of the rest of the league to try and make sure they have one of those best records. Right now. They would, But I'm just saying, you don't want to rely on that Know and there it seemed to me that lost in the trading deadline because they didn't make a move, and they should have done everything they could to get a picture as well it I've been taken aback by how poorly they played in their last 10 games. This six game losing streak Remember, they got this was just a few weeks ago they got swept by Kansas City. And and weekend serious and that should have told him right there that this team is not as good and not as perfect as everyone thought they were. I actually had the Indians winning this division, so it's not a huge shock to me, but watching that that starting pitching not come to fruition. Kenta Maeda hasn't been. You know He's been good at times, but didn't look all that great Yesterday. Rich Hill is a guy that as a Dodger fan, you can see he's good for the first four innings, and then he starts to get hit and today Again. He was shutting him out through five. And then it all started to fall apart for him. After that, the picture is just kind of, you know, Randy Dob neck was great for his first few starts, and I was like, Oh, he's been a revelation and he got absolutely destroyed his last outing. Another team, It doesn't have the pitch. They can rely on gaming and game out to come in and shut the door when you're in a losing streak. Go. Louise Robert getting it done for the pale hose tonight tied it with a home run and then a two run double in the ninth and White Sox won it by a score of 8 to 5 over Minnesota. The pale hose at 22 13 right now Cleveland again at 21 14 days at 22 12 best record in the American League outside of Tampa Bay, who sits a 25 and 11. How good is his A's team fish. They can be fantastic, and it's going to be you know they have. AH, had at least one case. I believe a player with Kobe to their shutdown next couple of days. They're not playing their games again. Seattle have been postponed for thanks to days, and we'll see what that does to them. They haven't been playing. It's funny because good as their record is, they haven't been playing as good as they can You mention their lineup guys like Olsen Enchantment haven't been hitting as well as they thought. And Frankie Montas, who started the season on fire has been horrible in his last three or four starts his e R A's over five. Now, Shaman IA hasn't been that good. So this team as good as their record. It looks like they are. They haven't even been playing up to that level. So I think this team is even better than that. And that should be scary for everyone else in the ale West. There you go. Okay, National League, East Atlanta, 20 and 14 the only team over 500, But Philly gets to 500 today. As to the Marlins, both at 15 and 15 met 15 and 20 talked about them being buyers on the trade deadline day today on the 31st, but they've dropped four in a row. And then the nationals. 12 and 20 did say that nationals would not make the playoffs so far. That's looking pretty good. Cubbies, 20 and 14. They lead the central same record as the Braves, but it's a Cubs team that struggled of late. Marge knows her little baby Bears aren't scoring many runs these days. So what if the Cubs need to do to get the The mojo back. The Cubs need to straighten out that bullpen and they made a couple of deals today to do that, Like I said Craig Kimbrel at the back End of the pen has been absolutely horrible, and they've had bullpen issues the last few years on let's hope that they'll things will work out for them. Jose Quintana should be back in that rotation soon. I think he's either just been activated about to be activated from the I'll think they're going to put him in the bullpen. First to work up, though, did get from lengthen his arm, but they'd just lost. Tyler Chatwood again had problems with his elbow. He just came back in the rotation. Now he's gone back on. Injured list, But Yu Darvish has been everything they had hoped he would be and more. He's been fantastic this season. John Wester has shown flashes of being very, very good. Alec Mills it coming can basically came out of nowhere to be fantastic. And Kyle Hendricks has done a great job. That rotation is good. The lineup is solid. It's just that bullpen that it could be their bugaboo in the when it's all said and done. I didn't think your Dodgers would win 40 games that prop. I didn't pull the trigger Dodgers right now. 26 10 and I got to give him credit because they're doing this and it's not like the Dodgers have been 100% as far as health. In fact, they've been decimated with injuries themselves for a little bit they have, and they just set a record for most home runs in a month. A year was the National League record with 57 this August, and that's so atypical of what the Dodgers usually do, because they've always been a team that usually wins games. 2 to 12322 not mad. On the ball, But this you gave a run differential. I think it's over 90 now, which is just insane out, considering how well they've been playing, and his team is just well on its way. The only way to get in the way is themselves. Their bullpen, I think has been better than people thought it would be. The lineup has been is good and their rotation fantastic. They have a lot of depth everywhere so they can take these injuries more better than most clubs. Andrew Friedman's done a great job of building this club..

"Around 95 100 tomorrow and Wednesday and looks like those two storms in the gulf are gonna result in almost zero rain. Or the San Antonio area could change fingers crossed. San Antonio's first news with Charlie Parker segment Rocky by kitchen designs by Giovanni. This segment is our visit with Michael Palka, host of the pure Hope Elka Podcast. You get enough rest over the weekend from the Democratic National Convention to prepare yourself for the beginning of the Republican National Convention. You would think I would have surely you would know, But we had golf and tennis is back pro tennis so very tall. Oh, Palka is on the courts. Had a couple of wins over the weekend and the match today, so no, I was riding the couch a little bit, but not enough to rest. Okay, People, not writing the couch last night in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Unfortunately, we have Looks like pretty telling video of a man named Jacob Blake being shot in the back and seriously injured after police were called for a domestic incident. Will wait for more information, but I'm guessing we won't be waiting long for more protest nationwide. No. And the protests started last night in Cannes Notion. If you don't know, it's 40, Miles 42 miles north of Chicago. It's really Ah border town between Illinois and Chicago, so Chicago protesters are expected to be there. The initial protests happened last night. What we're missing. Charlie is the the actual video from before this shooting, and the shooting is graphic, and it's awful and thank God this man is still live. Let's hope they can save him. But this was a domestic dispute that went terribly wrong, and we need to know what predicated this so hopefully hopefully hopefully we'll find out that I don't I don't know who's right or wrong, but they shot a man seven times in the back. That seems to be a little excessive use of force. Just to me. But it is going to feel the fires of rage that air still still happening in Chicago unless you're on the mayor's block because she's got her block surrounded by cops now and she say, but nobody else under the headline National Lampoon Vacation. Kelly Ann Conway is leaving the Trump campaign. Her husband, who is a member of the anti Trump organization, the Lincoln Project is leaving. I'm guessing getting ready, Tio jump in an R V and take a trip. Uh, yeah. They're two things about this number one. I would have thought Kellyanne would've left George before she left Trump. That's just me. They seem to have a quiet, Ah, contentious relationship. At times, she said. She's she's leaving the drama, so there'll be less drama and more mama for her kids. And it's hard to argue with that George Conway. All kinds of rumors swirling that he hasn't lived at home in a while. He's living in a New York apartment. You know that people's private lives. We'll let him see. I just think that Trump is probably not pleased about this because he spent Friday through Sunday preparing for the big announcement about the convalescent plasma. And that was supposed to be the big headline for Monday, kicking off the convention, and nobody's talking about convalescent plasma. They're talking about Kelly Ann. Well, I talked about it a little bit of minute ago and now we'll continue to talk about it at least just a little bit, wasn't it? Just Friday or late last week, The president was just bashing the FB, FB Aye, and now all of a sudden, it's all praise. Well, you know there there. Of course. Yes, Charlie telephoned. He's been hot and cold on the FDA a lot because you know the right to try law that he pushed through a couple of years ago. Um, of all the things to believe that that we have been snookered for months that all of this all of these appearances by Kim Jong UN could have been faked. This is just a wonderful chapter in this crazy story out of North Korea, and I think it's got at least a 50 50 chance of being true because we did have credible reports that he had a heart condition that had a heart operation, and he may be locked up somewhere on a ventilator or on on some kind of system for the last few months. So I'm guessing we're going to know soon. This. This guy's not a totally ah, on reliable source. Former South Korean dip, So let's say, I think 50 50. Yeah, I wouldn't bet money on 50 50. "Do what I gotta do. Our like. Stay. For. A second. Go ahead. I'll let go. They they. The Thomas Lives. He we all live. EAT heated incredible moving. By far the most underrated film ever made. I love the way. This will be bigs poetry like a bad ass thing. You know what I mean like it's sort of like, what do you mean by that? I, mean like I mean like in most movies like poetry is sort of like stuffy thing. But what they make to be stuffy is the sort of like literature and poetry is like I, think I think what this movie does. So so effectively is it makes poetry. So alive and I think I, think would be I think part of the reason that you to this movie if I'm not mistaken is Europe poetry nerd. I mean I don't know that much about it. But like. I think writing poetry is. Whatever? I don't think poetry should be great. That's why C- classes for it. Yeah. I'm not very for that. You know in. If you WANNA do that, go ahead a just one of those things personally for me. Is Not. One of those type of things I mean I just think poetry is something you are right. You gotta get it out. Poetry is your opinion and I. Don't think anyone should take that away from me completely. Completely. I want to do with you. Oh. Okay. Okay so We do need more Pacino's boy. Charlie from the theor I'm all the time I missed now I know. I. Know I Miss Charlie. Charlie Charlie is very, very mystery. Now, Charlie suggested we do a draft. So like a draft of favorite scenes, which means which means that we can't repeat our favorite scenes. So we're going to go back and forth and we're GONNA draft our top three favorite scenes in this movie of so so that means like you pick number one, all be on the clock off never to you pick number. You pick your number two, he said. But? Yet. So a draft of our favorites, you be number one Thomas I'm going to give you the number one pick. Okay. That's all. I had. This well, you do that on that. So you can add to me the ending. We were bawling. Movie Dude Mon Mike. Abuse Moments were like I mean Oh my God, they were coming out. It looked like I had a disease. It was ridiculous like that's seen. It just makes you feel everything those people had been through I mean whether it's the suicide of Neil. To, the acting. So the poetry to the way teaches and gets the kids passionate about poetry, and you just feel all night and that's why I think that endings one of the best endings in cinematic history. In cinematic, straight. Yes. I mean like I can't really disagree with you. We were both. We were saying you think I think ending is number one in you also think and then you can go with number two. Is Unquestionably. Number One. I'm bummed. You get the ending on. Your. Guest, you are the think. I was sort of an unconventional number two, pick all this of sort of an unconventional number two pick. My unconventional number two is the scene where Robin Williams hands in the book, and he's like guys, should we go out tonight and they're like we should go out tonight. But like, will the guys catch us and then there's like and unlike the music starts playing now? and. They're like trying to find the cave, but they're all like sneaking out with their hoods and and you're just like, oh, my God, they're like they're like really league discovering this thing I. Think I, think, it's so I. Think. It's so exciting the way like they're they're discovering like poetry and lake. This adventure. You really see them starting to bark on its adventure like at that exact point. No, that's like. So my number three pick would be the soccer scene. Soccer AC- where the ball and they he passes outlines of. Random poetry. Walt Women Walt Whitman Himself Walked Walt Whitman up Tom. Mature. Guys in another poet, and that's that is kind of. The start of the beginning, but that's what makes them more passion in the scene in it is kick a ball can and the disable sale on poetry I completely agree with you. I was going to go with. for the number four pick in best scenes. Of this movie. Your best thing on my God, we're drafting the best scenes of the movie. I'm going with the scene where he tears the page out of the buck. Yeah. That that that's an awesome scene of just how poetry is your own? Not just? Oh, it has to be in this rhythm in this word Ceram, with this word, and like I think what's funny about the scenes you're starting to like you're starting to you're you're sort of in the kids mindset where you're listening to the words of the poetry critic who like who sort of like? Yeah. You should analyze poetry on the scale in you sort of like, oh, like this is sort of our analyze poetry, this whole movie, and then he's just like ribbons and. You. The viewer are sort of put in this other state of mind where you're sort of you're sort of like You're sort of questioning the. Way You critique. Everything. You're sort of questioning the way critique everything. You think as viewer like always just basic teacher teaching out the textbook, every page, every word teaching students. He's like never mind rep that out. I'm going to do the same thing and that was in the movie with its IMPROV skills. He does all the Marlon Brando in awesome impressions of the you.

"And I feel very very fortunate because I I think those New Orleans folks, really got really took the chef there with I mean that that was a horribly miscall and that that most likely the game right there, and it's gonna be the saints. Now, I will give the Rams credit when the door opened they capitalized. And we saw what happens if you don't have the best kickers with the Chicago Bears recently in the playoffs. And boy, this Rams kicker. Aegis drilled these long field goals. And I mean, the Rams deserve credit to go to New Orleans and come back after being down early in the game and win the game. But I feel very very lucky to have the Rams in the Super Bowl to have a chance for my future book that because I I honestly think that you know, without bad. Officiating? It would have been the New Orleans Saints in the super that's a shame. I mean when when a call, you know in an important game like that really affects the outcome. Like that to me. So and like you say, Steve, I people just talked about racing and how you know, we have the controversies with the stewards and so forth, but you would think that we could have a weekend of to football NFL games and not have much controversy. But there were sure plenty of controversial calls. We'll put it that way. And and I really chuckled. You know, you were talking about megahertz who is one of my favorites. I mean, she was a huge fan favorite here in southern California. I mean, people just loved her. And you know, it's not hard to understand. Why here's this little itty? Bitty them looked like she could take her to some little girl's birthday party for pony rides or something. And she. Would pack. This powerful stretch kick coming from way off the pace. And you know, she didn't put together any kind of a winning streak likes in yada. But she she and she wasn't didn't have obviously the big fan club that then yada head, but she had a pretty good southern California fan club. And it's nice to remember her with a race named in her honor. And it's nice to remember Bobby Frankel to quite honestly, because he's a guy that you know, I just loved being around. And he he was such a character and such a smart guy. I can't tell you how many times Bobby Frankel would tell me, you know, what I'm trying to get this Robbie obey run out here to California. And if he ever gets here, he's going to be the leading rider and by gosh, that's what would happen. I mean, Frankel was gruff and so forth. But boy he was. On target so often. I mean, he he was so sharp, and I just really admired the guy quite a bit and really got along with them pretty well and really miss him. I mean, I miss Charlie Wittingham last Barreira a lot to those three or three of the biggies that I really really miss. But that it hurts boy she was something special. Did you see the video that I the link I put up earlier now, I have not seen that. You're just listening to you describe it is kinda fun while you're in it. I mean, you're you'll your featured. Oh, you're kidding. I didn't know that. Oh, what you didn't see the picture yet that I if you log on Twitter after the show, there's a there's a funny picture of you. I snapped it off of this great. Well, you'll see why though it's it it. It just so happens is I tried to capture it that. You'll see Alex Elise has got his. The sleep of his jacket over his over his eyes. It's kind of funny. You'll see why it's great. But you look great. And it was after the I'm gonna say. It's got highlights this videos got it's a twelve minute feature. At basically, it's called the story of megahertz.
