"Talking to John's mirac, you know, John, what I wanted to say was that what we're seeing at the southern border we're also seeing in places like San Francisco, which has become the human feces capital of the world. Thank you, Nancy Pelosi. We are seeing a breakdown of order of social order that we have never seen in America. Right. Daniel penny, who is a veteran of the U.S. Marines and he saw a psych dangerous homeless lunatic screaming yelling at threatening people on the New York City subway. And what he didn't realize is the new rules. The new rules is you don't do anything. You don't do anything to protect strangers. You don't even defend yourself. The new rules are America. You don't defend yourself. Because you remember the mccluskey's in Missouri, a mob of arsonists marched onto their front lawn. They wave a gun at them. They're charged with a crime and stripped of their law licenses. So they can't make a living. They're lawyers. They're stripped of their law licenses. It's like you forbidden to write ever again.

This Metric Determines the True Pro-Life Stance of GOP Candidates
"I'm talking to John's mirac. John. Again, you've written another article at stream dot org. This one is a little even more disturbing as far as I'm concerned. Let's talk about that one. Yeah, there's a heroic pro life activist named reverend James Harden. And he runs compass care, which is a chain of pregnancy centers that help women save their babies. He his center has been one of the ones most violently attacked by pro abortion activists by James revenge. He decided to do an objective metric to determine how pro life various Republican candidates are. Now that's interesting, right? There's an objective metric. It's not just a matter of arguments. We can actually do the numbers. How could you possibly do the numbers? Well, what Hardin did was he took the proposals, the pro life laws endorsed by various candidates who are running or probably running for president from Nikki Haley to Donald Trump to Ron DeSantis. And he determined how many abortions would be stopped if their laws passed. If they got everything they wanted in terms of federal legislation, what percentage of abortions that are currently perfectly legal would be prevented. And it's called the hardened abortion compromise scale. HARD EN abortion compromised scale. And my friend Jason Jones wrote about it at the stream. The title is, are GOP candidates pro life pro choice or pro grift. Now, by pro grift, we mean people who want to say their pro life, but in fact, what they mean is, I don't want abortions in my town. I don't want to abortion clinics in Texas. Let there be abortion clinics in the airports in California. Let the federal government send abortion pills through the mail to every state in the union, but I want to feel good about myself by saying we've closed a few planned parenthoods in my state.

"Back. I'm talking to Steve dais DEA CE, the man behind the film and the book nefarious. Steve, you've been through hell. And before we skip to the second part of the hell that you've been through, I want to talk about the first part. You were in the hospital, you said you had all kinds of treatments. You had serious fevers. Talk about that because you didn't mention that. Yeah, I mean, I was delirious. I don't really remember other than the pain Eric. I don't remember much of the hospital experience because I mean, I was out if I was out of it. I was passed out for hours in the ER waiting my turn. You know, my wife's tweeting my condition, my small group guys come up to pray over me. I can barely remember that. I just remember it being in pain so much that basically I just passed out and this went on for hours in the ER before they finally got me back there and they were literally able to carve these things out of me. And I mean, my fever is spiking and everything else. I mean, I just was delirious mostly. I remember reading because I follow you on Twitter reading your wife's tweets on your behalf. I was like, what the heck is this? I got a phone call from John Z mirac. Have you heard what's going on with Steve day? Let's pray, this was very serious. And this is the beginning, okay? So you're telling me that you go through this stuff, you're in the hospital, and you're in the hospital for how long? I was in the hospital a total of about ten hours, and I'm told this is the most painful thing they will do nowadays without putting you under and admitting you is when you get these kinds of cysts and removing them. That's what I was told. And why wouldn't they put you under? I don't really know the answer to that. I don't know. I mean, I like I said, all I remember is the pain and the agony. I don't remember much of conversations or anything else. So you had fever, you had these cysts. This is an infection, a mysterious quote unquote infection that strikes you just days before this film comes out. And so you go through this, but they're able to dig this stuff out and you think you're fine now. Yeah, I mean, I'm not a discharging at all. The sit meaning the cyst have drained of the bacteria in them. I don't even, I don't even cover it anymore. And I'm tolerating the antibiotic. I'm having a few sensations like chills and stuff, but relatively speaking, it's nothing compared to what I was going through. And so the doctors cleared me to get on the plane on Thursday and go out to Rochester for the moms for liberty of it. Okay, so this is three days after you went into the hospital, now you think you're okay, you've been through this bizarre, I mean, and when I read your wife's tweets, it was obvious this was serious. So, but the doctors say, okay, you're good to go now. We've solved the problem. You can fly to Rochester to this event. And again, you're going to be promoting the film. I'm a thousand miles from home. We get there the night before, and in the middle of the night, I just start spiking the worst fevers I've had yet. I can't even stand, I'm trembling so bad. Finally, when it gets to a hundred, I'm in this hotel in the city, I've never been in a thousand miles from home. Finally, my wife, when it gets to a 104, calls 9-1-1, first time I've ever needed that. I've ever been in an ambulance in my entire life. And they make the decision, yeah, I need to go in. There is concern that I'm experiencing either some extreme allergic reaction to the medication or even worse that maybe they didn't get all the bacteria and it got into my bloodstream before they removed the cysts. And that's when you are what's called sepsis or a form of blood infection can require PICC lines and your arm for three, 6 months, lots of treatments. And then we'll win an adult. When an adult man has a fever of a 104°, that is called very serious. So obviously we're glad your wife called the ambulance. But again, you are in an airport hotel a thousand miles from home. Now, where is home for you guys? Western white Iowa in Iowa. That's right. And so here you are, you go to the hospital 5 a.m. and again, you told this story on your podcast that it was aired yesterday. But this is dramatic stuff. So keep going with this story. You go to the hospital now in Rochester. I'm in this room. It's not even the size of a closet. This hospital's overflowing. It's strong memorial hospital in Rochester. There are, there's gurneys and beds in the ER that are lined up too deep in the hallways. They have no rooms. There's like a giant tent provisional facility out in the back. I have to go there. I have the very last room in this facility in this corner. We can't receive any guests, the bathroom is actually in another building. And they come in and tell me, if we can't let you go, I mean, the infectious disease doctors won't want us to let you go until we get another blood culture and it comes back with negative and we have to make sure you don't have mrsa in your blood. That could kill you. And the problem is, it takes 24 hours or longer since it's the weekend sometimes for that sample to come in. So there's a chance that I might be with just me and my wife away from home our kids for days in this makeshift room that's barely a closet, awaiting results that may indicate that I have a serious blood infection that threatened my life. I mean, it was just, it's the most, this is the I became a Christian 20 years ago, Eric. But I know what discouragement is like, I grew up in an abusive home. I know what it's like to feel defeated. I'd not felt like that. I made mistakes. I've had failures as a believer over the last 20 years. I've never felt defeat. This was the first time I had truly felt discouragement defeat. And it felt like everything we had endured and everything else for this movie to get it done. And this is how it's going to end. And I just, I felt defeat. I felt like, you know, maybe we didn't do what God wanted us to do. Maybe we got it abandoned us. And I knew intellectually that wasn't right, but emotionally that's the way I felt. And I just incredibly defeated. You know, I want to be clear with my audience because I listen to the podcast yesterday, and I want to say, again, I just don't ever listen to podcasts, but it was very moving. You tell this whole story. And it affected me very much, Steve, because like you, not to this extent, but I'm in a spiritual battle. And sometimes it gets tough. Sometimes it gets very discouraging. You went to the mat and created this great film, and I know, as somebody who does stuff, sometimes things don't, you say, you know, lord, this isn't doing as well as I had hoped. I poured myself into this. I know the level of excellence. Why, lord, what's going on? I mean, to sell a film in this day and age with all the demonic stuff that's out there, all the garbage that's out there to try to get a film that is pointedly about the spiritual reality. I mean, you talk about, you know, going where you're not supposed to go in Hollywood or in the culture, you went there in spades, you deal with the unborn, the abortion, and very, very powerful. And then the film doesn't do what you had hoped. Now, this happens all the time, making a Christian film, making this kind of a film, to get it out, to get it distributed to get the word out, even to Christians, many of whom are either lazy or they just don't care. They're too busy. They don't feel like I need to see this film because it's the right thing to do. Even when it's a good film. And so that was part of what was going on with you. There was some disappointment in the natural. And in the natural, I'm as sick as I had been in many, many, many years. And as the day went on, I could feel this resolve out of nowhere hitting me. And I'm confident that was the prayers of the righteous availing much. And they found another makeshift room for me in an observational wing, but it would at least give us some privacy. We could at least have one visitor come in. And so like a pastor of the moms for liberty group could come in and pray with me. I'm getting more encouraged as the day goes on, but all the fevers and everything are all still there. And because this is overcrowded, my wife has to go home at 8 o'clock. And right as she gets ready to go home, I tweet out, it's just going to be me, God, and the enemy alone in this room for the next 24 hours. I had a sense something was coming. I just wasn't sure what it was. And I shortly after that, I fell asleep. I woke up about an hour later shortly before 9. And I'm as hot as I have been this entire time. And I've got heat rashes up and down my legs. I've got the mrsa antibiotic two different ones now going in my arms. I'm having allergic reactions to them. I still don't have the blood culture back. I don't know if it's in my system or not. And I just had this overwhelming sensation that our conviction that I needed to get up rise and walk..

"Mirac, welcome to the program. Hi, Eric. It's always a pleasure to talk to you. All right, look, we got to talk about a lot of stuff, but why don't we just start talking about nefarious, the film, our friend Steve dais, created this film, nefarious, you have reviewed the film at stream dot org, have you not? That's right. I'm going to do something slightly unethical now. As a wannabe and failed screenwriter, I'm going to praise a project that I had absolutely nothing to do with. Oh, come on. Don't get any benefit from it whatsoever. Nevertheless, I regret to say that Steve D's has done a fantastic job, and that this film from which I received no benefit whatsoever. Is absolutely fantastic. I endorse it hardly. You sent me a preview screener. Yeah. I got my girlfriend to come over and we watched it on the computer, which is not the super fun way to work. I was going to say, that's how I watched it. And that's how Alban watched it. But by the way, it's pronounced days. Don't ask me why, but Steve days in creating this film. I mean, to get you, you're finicky to get me. I'm finicky to get Alvin. He's finished, you know, we're honest with each other about whether we like something, we all were thrilled to see how good this was. But we're here to ask you for a specific. So go ahead. In my review, I talk about the three kinds of the three levels of Christian or Christian ish films that you see. The first ones are the ones that are obviously well meaning, but just flat. Didactic, they're preachy, or they're just mindlessly inspirational. All look somewhat adopted a puppy. Yay. And they mentioned Jesus twice. Yay, dragged the whole school group. Or they don't want to, they don't want to face real evil, like the worst evil is daddy might drink too much. They're kind of like hallmark films with a few Bible versus scattered among them. So this is not that kind of movie.

John Zmirak Reacts to Russell Moore's Recent Editorial About Trump
"A few minutes left with John's mirac. John, you're talking before about the Russell Moore article in Christianity today, which is very similar to the article that he wrote a year ago that I responded to a year ago in very highfalutin language. He is saying some really ugly, unbiblical things, but he's convinced that if he uses the right language, he can nuance it enough to fool enough people. Right. And so in the article I say that he has the power of doctor Doolittle, he can talk to the weasels, because the article, I'm sure he wrote, it was written in weasel. It's a weaselly language to get away with saying basically we should collaborate with the Democrats and with elites wherever necessary to crush conservative populism. Conservative populism and nationalism. These things are so evil that we should cooperate with the abortion lobby. We should take money from George Soros as Russell Moore's organizations have done or Pierre omidyar as David French's organizations have done. We should take money from leftist billionaires who hate Christianity and hate America and love Marxism. That's okay to cooperate with those people, but you, people, you NASCAR fans, can not collaborate with Donald Trump.

I think I have COVID again. I'm glad the Democrats are ludicrously overplaying their hand. The fact that they're not just throwing it every piece of monkey poop at the wall to see if it will stick on Donald Trump. There are actually going to put a gag order on him. This is something straight out of Eastern Europe in the 1970s or Latin America in the 1980s. I think I hope this gag order happens and I hope Trump needs to just violate it recklessly with the band and I think he needs to do an alliance with Ron DeSantis and spend most of his time in Florida as if he were a legitimate government of America in exile. And that let New York City and New York State try to shut down a presidential candidate. I don't think anything could more powerfully highlight the way it leads or dominating America the way a small number of cities are trying to rule an entire continent than some petty tyrant DA and judge in New York trying to censor and silence a presidential candidate on behalf of the whole country.

But no, no, it turns out it's a woman who was sucked into the transgender ideology, which, as I've said before, is demonic, and I think there is an element of demonic possession for some of these people. A woman who, as a girl, attended that school. And let's be clear, it's a conservative Christian Bible school. This is not some episcopalian or Jesuit liberal down. Weak tea. This is a hardcore reformed Presbyterian Church. A solid Bible church, okay? This is a serious Christian place. And she went to school there years later comes back, having been sucked into the demonic transgender ideology with hellfire written on one of her rifles. That's a detail I read this morning. Hellfire written on one of the guns she's using to kill small children and Christian teachers. So a transgender person attacks a Christian church kills teachers and children and the Democrats because they can't blame Donald Trump are going to blame the guns. If she had used a knife, maybe they would blame the Iron Age and say we need to go back to the Bronze Age. We should ban all metals. I want to be very clear. Do you care about human life? In other words, if you were in 1945 and the allies liberate the death camps and they find scores upon scores upon scores of unscrews of murder victims systematically lined up, part of our human nature just boggles reels at it and says, no, no, no, no. It can't be true. It can't be true. Human beings are incapable of this. And it takes time to process the evil, especially when it happens in the heart of Western Europe when it happens in the United States. It is not easy for most people to process this. So in a sense, I see this program and others as trying to help people process what seems to them impossible. Right. And I would like to offer a perspective on the upcoming indictment of Donald Trump. That's not just the obvious one. It's obvious that this is an outrageous misuse of our political system. This is an attempt of a corrupt sorrow supported crime friendly district attorney trying to boost his political career by trying to put his political opponent in prison. All of that is true. It's also true that some of this is a lesson for Donald Trump about mistakes he made in the past. He ran for president promising to lock Hillary up for her criminal behavior in office. And then 5 days or 7 days afterwards went on 60 minutes with Lesley Stalin said, oh, I don't want to hurt her. She's good pee. She's a good person. These are good people. I don't want to hurt them. And he didn't lock her up. And so therefore he was saying, this campaign promise I made was just, it was just red meat for the rooms. Well, guess what? Guess what, Donald. This is what happens when you don't lock her up. Okay? Donald Trump invited all the January 6 people to protest and they were railroaded, some of them into prison. "And it startling what's happened? Well, you're being uncharacteristically mild a bill. What Disney has become. Listen, I say this all the time. Those of us who've lived a few decades can not help, but be blown away, astonished at the nightmares unfolding around us. It's the kind of thing that, you know, people cry wolf sometimes and you begin to become inured to these things. And then when it actually happens, when you see Disney go from being a pro America pro family company to not that great to actively supporting things that are against what most sane Americans firmly believe, the idea of parents having rights over their kids. The idea on and on and on and on. Love your country very basic stuff. It's hard to process. And the reason I go around and around the block on this is because I want people to understand folks. I get the fact that it's hard to process. It's tough to take in that in our time, people running major corporations, Disney at the top of the list, have gone so woke that they're insane, that they are your enemies and they're the enemies of your family of your marriage of your country of American freedom. It's very difficult to process that this is happening. But we need to process it. We need to face it. We need to fight it and we need above all, never to give another dime to Disney to make sure that we vote with our pocketbooks and that we understand that what they have done is evil. And we need to push back. And if we don't push back, we deserve to go down the drain as a nation as a culture and we're on our way. So the film that you made Walt's disenchanted kingdom can be seen on Salem now dot com I want to be clear to people, go to Salem now dot com. But I say all that Bill just because it's sometimes hard to grasp how dark things have become, you know? Anybody who's paying attention. Well, you know, I agree with, of course, everything you just said. And, you know, back in the mid 1980s, I was a professor in a small Catholic college in Pittsburgh. And I was one of the original members of joining the national association of scholars. I later became the Pittsburgh chapter president and the Pennsylvania chapter, president and sat on the board of directors for 20 years. We were concerned about the lack of truth, lack of merit, the politicization of the academy of higher education. At that time, back in the 80s and it continued into the 90s and into the 2000s. You had to situation where the left was in control, obviously, of education, the media entertainment industry and the arts. What you've just mentioned is so important because it's no longer confined to those circles. It's now in the corporate 500. Correct. It's now in Disney. It's now in the healthcare industry. It's in The Pentagon. And I'm not meaning the average person who works there in these institutions who are good people. I'm talking about the elite. I'm talking about the ruling class. They have succumbed to the politics of the left. They are now they are now leading the charge. And so we have our job as much more difficult. That's one of the reasons why I chose Disney. I wanted to make this a cultural marker that people would understand, you know, if they've gone, woke, then where in the world is this country going to? What do you expect if Disney's going to walk? What do you expect from Google or apple or Nike or the NBA? What do you expect? But you're right. This is the classic long march through the institutions. Over the decades, it's the trickle down theory of culture. I mean, it used to be confined to the elites in the academy. I mean, if you think about it, I was at Yale in the 80s, along with my buddy John mirac. It was there then, for sure, but anybody who thinks it got in in the 60s, all you need to do is read William F. Buckley's book about Yale from the late 40s when he attended. It was already effectively taken over by atheists and communists. It's hard for us to imagine how many decades this has been working its way in. And it goes all the way back, but it has never come to full flower the way it is right now. So when we think of someplace like Disney, what you think of, you mentioned, you know, The Pentagon, these places, the idea that they have bought into woke ideology, which we have to be blunt. It's madness. It's not just a different opinion. It's madness on any number of levels. But for Disney, I mean, we know if anybody would be rolling over in his grave would be Walt Disney. That man loved this country he had a vision, created something beautiful, and it's been hijacked by people who are the enemy of everything he stood for. Well, that's true. And you know, you know, Marx got it wrong. He thought he was going to create his revolution on the basis of the working class and make it economic structuring. No, the cultural markets understood this better from Italy and from France and from Germany. And the Frankfurt school in the 1960s. And they understood that you really have to get inside the culture. That's how you change things. Don't depend on the working class because they certainly the proletariat certainly did not have to be on the side of the Marxist. But the cultural market is understood. Get into schools, get into churches, get into the places which disseminate ideas and the publishing houses and the media and that's how you'll change the culture. So they certainly were a lot smarter than.

Question one. And a parent Chinese spy balloon floated over U.S. soil for thousands of miles undetected, then flew unmolested for several more days before it was destroyed by an embarrassed Pentagon. This week, several more flying objects of unidentified origin were detected and quickly destroyed. What does this really mean? Of course, this is all. This is all happening about a week ago, but it doesn't matter. Okay, so there are four possible answers. I'm going to read them a, it means whatever White House press secretary karine Jean Pierre says it means and what our mainstream media report. They're dedicated to truthfulness transparency and avoiding misinformation. People who question them are disloyal, perhaps domestic extremists seeking to promote false narratives that could lead to violence. Okay, that was a, B, it means that we're not spending nearly enough on high-tech defense equipment or preparing adequately for our impending military confrontation with China and Russia simultaneously. Even though we haven't spent enough, we will prevail in such a conflict because we represent freedom. And if you don't believe that, you probably belong in the same D.C. jail as the January 6th insurrectionists. That's B C, what does this really mean? C, Joe Biden is a Chinese spy balloon. It's hard to see why they need to bother to send any others. And then finally, D, it means that the principalities and powers of the air are trying to terrorize us, preparatory for the imminent arrival of the Antichrist. That's right. So which of those seems most likely to you are? Okay, now John, I have to say this is, I think the only one of all these that confused me a little bit because a, the idea that The White House press secretary or the mainstream media are saying anything truthful is a joke. So I reject a. D, the principalities and powers of the year trying to terrorize us, preparatory for the imminent arrival of the Antichrist. That's sort of true, but basically not. B, we're not spending enough on high-tech defense equipment or preparing adequately. That to me seems perfectly possible in the sense that the military has gone so woke that I don't think that they actually are prepared. But then the second part of B you say that we have to be ready to fight Russia and China simultaneously. Simultaneously, right? Which I don't think is a bad idea to be prepared, but I don't think we're we want to do that. Right. The only problem C which I agree with is kind of a jokey answer. Joe Biden is a Chinese spy balloon. It's hard to see why they need to bother to send any others. I would go with that except it sounds jokey. Do I have permission to take that seriously enough as an answer? Yes, yes, yes. Okay. So then I pick C Joe Biden is a Chinese fiber.

"Back talking to John's mirac John, you wrote an article at stream dot org on the FBI. And again, this is happening now in the United States of America. It's become public that they targeted serious Catholics because the fake Catholics, the hypocrites like Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi are no threat. To the globalist elites, but serious Catholics, the FBI deems them a threat because, you know, they believe in crazy things like truth and God, so here's how about this. First you wave the red flag and say, some of them might be white supremacists. You don't even need any evidence of that. Because when someone brings up racism is a threat. If you say, no, it's not. The response is, why are you defending racism? Are you a racist? Are you racist agenda? Adjacent? Have you ever had drinks with anyone who might have lived in the south when confederate flags were routinely displayed? Maybe you're racist to Jason adjacent. And then everybody just folds and collapses and loses bowel control and goes and hides in their closets. Well, I won't, okay? And you won't, and your listeners will. None at nobody has even offered any evidence at all that these Catholics are Philip with racism. Not that that would take away their constitutional rights. I want to be clear, racists have constitutional rights. I promise white supremacists should be protected by the First Amendment. And if that gets me canceled, then I'm like, this is what's so funny is like that people don't think logically to thinking emotionally. Right. And but John, I just want to, I want to say that we have in our constitution this thing called, you know, it's the non establishment clause. The government is not supposed to establish a religion. But notice what they're doing is effectively that. They are saying, if you have this point of view, or this kind of religion, or whatever, we're going to cancel you, we're going to crush you. We're going to another is there establishing a religion in the negative.

You know, no one has ever spelled my name correctly. And those who nobody has ever spelled it twice the same way. It seems to be a secret name. It's not the name of God, but maybe it's the name of some parody or something, but no one can spell my name. No one can pronounce my name. Eric Discusses God and Faith at the Apologia Forum in Seattle
"Airing the conversation I had with John's mirac on the stage in Washington, state the apology form at west gate chapel. Here it is. I mean, that's obviously brilliant and that will stick with you. I hope. Because that really is the idea. To mention my book again. Honestly, I'm not kidding. The letter, it's called letter to the American church, but the original title was faith without works is dead. Because that's what John just said. In other words, if you say you're a Christian, you say you believe all these things. If you do, it will be obvious to every devil in hell by how you live your life. It will be obvious to God what you believe. You don't have to say what you believe. It's obvious from how you live. And if you live in a way where you're swimming upstream, where you're actually doing things, self sacrificial things because of your faith, whether it's for the homeless. I mean, when we talk about the homeless, there's public policy issues, or you could go down there and talk to them. But the point is, if you don't care at all, which is like how many people are, they just don't care about the homeless, they don't care about people in cities whose lives are being destroyed. They don't care about fentanyl coming across the border. They don't care about people being killed by weird vaccines. They don't get they don't care if the election was stolen. They don't care. They don't care they don't care. And so the point is, God says, in the word, faith without works is dead. So if you are not evincing your faith, manifesting your faith by how you live, God knows that you are a farm raised salmon. You can claim all you want to be a Christian, but if you're not living it out, if the church is not living out its faith in every sphere and pointing out corruption and living to change things from however you can, God is not fooled and it's a scandal, I think it's been happening, you know, you talk about getting fat and lazy and complacent, but I feel like we in America have had things so good that we've allowed ourselves to think that you can be a Christian and do absolutely nothing.

Study failed the IQ tests and of course lots of black Americans failed those biased IQ tests and 60,000 of them were forcibly sterilized by the government. The last ones were sterilized in the 1960s.

John Zmirak Has Some Thoughts on Ukraine and Vladimir Putin
