"All the way to the left in DC positions one through twelve or whatever they're all jumbled up, right? That's what I was looking at. Yeah. Click on p. s at the very top of that and it'll resort correctly. I got your PO s right here. All right now. Things are blue on the left no red on the right I. Think we're good. There is had only I would have known that ahead of time. This would have been more smooth. That's okay, though it made for fun radio in trying to explain things to you, so it's it. It kind of did and we had to fill some time here because we're not used to not having a guest. Why don't we have a guest I? I don't know what happened. WHO Doesn't want to be on the show? Well! I think we have to actually try. Oh, yeah, well. They're not just going to all come to us. Some come to us. Yeah, so we were talking about the weird season alligators had. Yeah so no. Gregson is leading the series. An stage wins this year with eight just. Everybody in the field at some point including allgeier. All guys sitting second in stage wins issue with seven. Wow, one behind the series. Lead in stage wins yet. No actual race wins out crazy is that that is and I like Dale Jr. calling out his own driver. Yeah, I mean he couldn't help, but I mean there's nothing you can do to dance around it at this point and Gregson I think he's a very fast too young driver. He's going to be awesome as long as he doesn't frustrate people to the point where they start. Put them in the wall sooner. The race starts, but well I mean Jeff. Gordon wrecked everything, but the pace car back in the day. Yeah, but usually he didn't involve other people most of the time it was just him spinning around and slapping into stuff, but yeah I don't know man it's. It's interesting Interesting. He's already had run-ins of Miot Snyder his teammate. Harrison Burton I. Mean here's a lot. It's stacking up, so you start adding all these people mad at him. Rallied herbst now as well. WHO's a friend of his going into the season? They came from Vegas together. They grew up together. And now herbs even mad at him, so Oh, it's interesting. I don't know we'll see how it plays out still needs to get all up next. We're GONNA. Get you ready for Kansas and a bunch of stuff on T.. F. L. "And get an appointment over it. Audible hearing aids talk about that. I mean, it's it's with so many things Randy when you're talking about your health. It's not an easy thing to go through this. This really is the hearing loss isn't fixing it is. That's right, Pat. It's it's it's basically painless I mean, people come in our office where a patient based company were friendly were we're family. It's like you're part of our family retreat. You we we love having you there. We. We don't wish I hearing loss on anybody. I wanna tell you hearing loss is not a fun thing. I'm sure you love to tell people when they've got some earwax. Sometimes I do and and we'll tell them that we're going to be honest with them. We're going to be direct with them. We're going to we're going to tell them that things are it's just earwax. We have a fifty inch screen in our offices with a video camera that looks on the air. The patient's going to see everything we see at the same time. They're going to get the results of their hearing analysis, right then and there it's about an hour worth of time. It's probably the most important our you could ever spend. And we talk about the emotion of it. And it really is difficult for anybody who's ever dealt with a family member who's losing their hearing and not only how it affects them in their relationship. But you can see how it affects your loved one. When you go into a location. I have to imagine you've seen quite a few situations with people who have been overcome with their emotions after being able to hear for the first time in probably a long time. I think you know, that was the one thing when I. The hearing industry in nineteen Ninety-six. I started fitting hearing aids, and what captured my Miot passionate, creating my passion. I should say was seeing that for the first time when I had somebody sitting in my chair put hearing is in their ears. They can actually hear their loved one that they haven't heard in twenty years, and they started crying, and I just wanted to cry with them. I'm sure I mean, I probably would I'm a softy, man. I'm dick for meal over here. Every time, you know, the hall of fame announcements come on the NFL networks, we'll probably be doing the same thing. I've had people come in my office, literally. Not saying much of anything all to themselves. You know, just very quiet very like an introvert, very quiet, very just just mundane and I put hearing aids and they almost like dance out of the office. It's crazy. They become a new person because now they're reconnected to their environment and their loved ones. Coming into one of our locations. I mean, they're so convenient. We got over twenty seven. Bayer locations. You can come in and takes about an hour and a half it changed your life. I, and I know you've talked about this journalist shell we've talked about how important this is. But we have to look at every side of it. And I think sometimes we forget about. Oh, yeah. You can't hear well. And maybe you don't hear your family members. But I have to imagine in to what you do said people coming in and it just changing their outlook. If you don't hear well like, you said, you probably going to speak less because you're less interested in hearing, what people have to say because you can't you don't want the stress of I can't hear you. And I have to ask you to repeat yourself. I'm sure people get really reclusive when it becomes more difficult to have a conversation very much. So it's it's amazing. How how it really affects them? And it doesn't have to be that way. It's stressful on the family as well as the person with a hearing loss. The family gets tired of repeating they start just saying well, just forget it or I'll tell you later. The person with a hearing loss will see people laughing and looking down there. I think what are they talking about me? Wow. Yeah. I didn't think about that aspect of it. What are they laughing about? Are they laughing at me? I didn't hear what they said. Not only am I missing something. Are they keeping something for? It's gotta be when you hear someone speak a different language. Sometimes you have that. Are they saying something they don't want me to hear? And I'm sure it's the same thing when you can't hear well enough. It is and they'll you know, they'll be isolated. They'll think well or they'll say a joke. Maybe they'll say a joke, and they'll they'll laugh, and they won't laugh at the punchline because I didn't hear it or they'll laugh when they're not supposed to because they didn't hear it or they'll answer inappropriately. So they're trying to compensate or they'll just keep on their head. Yes to everything because they can't hear and they don't want to deal with it. They don't want. They don't want to ask people to repeat just a few minutes left in the show. We've talked so much about the importance of having your hearing checked again, you can do that at Florida hearing dot com. You can set up an appointment very quickly for those who don't know. Let's talk a little bit about some of the causes of hearing loss. Some of the. Things that get people in these situations where my hearing isn't working well enough. I don't recognize it or I don't wanna recognize it. There are a lot of there are a lot of causes for hearing loss on there. That's true. You know, when you come into audible, the whole reason, we're there is because of our patients, you know, it's all about hearing. It's about hearing loss it's about helping that individual when they come to us for help we take that very seriously. We wanna help them. We want to give them the result. They deserve. We want them to leave our office. Delighted with the with the the outcome of of their hearing journey. We call a hearing journey from the time they first enter our office to the time they leave with their here nights. And that's what we're all about. We're a different type of company. We're we we deal with hearing hearings are concern. We look at the hearing. We take it seriously. And we want to give them that result. But we also want to fit their budget. So we're we're communists into that. But at the same time, the person can be rest assured that they're going to get the best care. Possible. And when you talk about trying to fit their budget are there different levels or there different kind of pricings pricing options on on the hearing aids or they just different ones that people can take a look at based on kind of their ability to pay.

"Oh sponsors like Menards in to Carolina nuts, and a lot of great companies that have helped us along the way like factory containers. Also in companies can help us all year long to be able to go to the racetrack each week and to have everything we need to run up front. And I got the biggest way that other fans can do that is by support knows companies and know in insurance, those company that they can buy their product you their resources in that way, you know. You think on NASCAR trucking companies know that their dollar amounts? That are Senator. They're spending are going to bid good uses. Rich. I wanna talk about the youth that you have within your camp, and it's pretty much grant Miot, and Ben and Matt as far as the the leadership in the veteran voice in that garage. But what is something that the sport can do that in your eyes? They're not doing to help push this youth movement. Because that's really where we are. You look at in all three series of guys who were no more than twenty five years old and doing very successful. But it doesn't seem to me from the outside looking in that they're doing enough to push that movement. They're still kind of hedging on the older veterans. What can we do to get that youth movement? Struck. Like, you said we have a good mix. Here. We only have Matt it's been doing this forever. And then we have, you know, been Mayan grant, and they all had different. Ages all been different time. But on the big thing for us is probably like support a local racing more. You know? Like the ways on the Lorraine speedway's speedway's that type of racing that bring is going to bring those kids in, you know, locally air and MacOS kid future stars of NASCAR, you know, back. You know, two thousand four win at heart racing way a castle, nobody knew him. But luckily, you know. Becker sports on the local series at that point. We got into that. And then that all grew. So that's the biggest thing they can do is just local racing. Thank you like the the fan. There's three or four racetracks. Within an hour of all you're listening audience there that people can go to support the local racing. And I don't know how familiar you are or at least close you are. But with Matt tift, he's bowed. I'd say forty five minutes south of here from Hinkley how're things like that. I mean is it gonna take guys like myself who were on the media that have that outlet to get a guy who is doing really well and expanding in moving right along. These got a great story on top of that. And also what's happening out with you guys a very competitive team, the only shop in Ohio is it more. Do you feel media driven? Appealed very media driven going back to your hip. I've I've known Matt for a lotta years together at one of his first ever late model races. And then he actually went to school Michael is a teacher, and he actually went to school warm apple teaches though, I know the metric field, but it's gonna take the people like yourself and people in all kinds of not be radio in internet who got those names in support your local people rich. I'm so glad that we got 'em. So glad that you said that because there is at least from the research that I've done on really all three series more. So in the monster energy Cup series but going down because the truck series any extreme series need a little bit more publicity than the big one. But there's this perception that drivers and crew chiefs and everybody else in deemed don't like radio or TV because they don't under-. Stand it. They don't research it. They don't do their background. But they don't make interesting when I am watching a race. I can pretty much know what question is going to be asked. But at the same time. I know what question how it's going to be answered it just seems that it's different cities that that's going in. But it's each and every week. What can we do as media members to help you guys out instead of doing the same canned questions and everything like that? Like is there is there something that you would like to see us do because there are people that don't wanna see it going the way that it is and not only as a radio guy, but just as a fan. I mean, I think last week you did a really good job on your research before we talk, and you didn't ask all the same questions. You know, normally every asking how we're going to run this week, or you know, what we're gonna be expecting there in from different questions to try to make it entertaining. So I think that's going to be a lot of it. Just somehow we have to get a people that don't know much about racing at all to understand it and to to wanna be automated in we gotta get that energy back. They used to have that years ago when.

"To go to the racetrack in and survive. So and then I also know that air talking about trying to legalize gambling on on NASCAR races, which I think will help also. You know, I think they're trying to help. I'll let these mothers trying to make the rasonable better. But there's some things they've done internally to Curtiss hurt the racing. They made actually actually hurt the racing helping the racing like they were looking for the truck series is still the best series as far as true competitive racing. But I think we need to maybe they need to lower the grand prices a little bit and try to put a little bit better product on racetrack. We're speaking religious. He's a crew chief for my at Snyder number thirteen Ford f one fifty in the NASCAR Camping World truck series. One thing. I want to ask you riches, how beneficial is it, you know, you hear a lot of fans complain about it when they either going to an xfinity or they jump in a truck. But when the Cup guys come down do you like that? Or do you think that it should be left to the guys that are in the series itself? I actually love it netra. She didn't make any rule on at all. Because I believe it brings people in the now first of all, but also believe it makes our drivers better when we get to race. Again. What's supposed to be the best drivers in the series in NASCAR? So I believe it through then I believe it brings attendance. And I believe it makes the whole racing actually better. I really wish they wouldn't limit. It. And then rich will get yet. Again. I want to thank you so much the races this weekend. The Lucas oil one fifty out in Phoenix. Miot son of mardi cider mentioned that heading into. Here is your guy also grant and finger and Matt craft install racing for championship. And then young Ben Rhodes who has one of the two wins between this year. "That comes out in October, that's available for preorder now. And I've anew book coming out in January. That co wrote with Mets Eller sites called the soprano sessions. It features like breaking bad book in like Matt's madman book f. As on every episode. But it also has a new collection of interviews that we did with David chase, where we went deep on everything about the show up to and including the ending. I think it's the best thing that either of us has ever written. I'm very excited for the world to see it, and that is also available for preorder. Now at Amazon or wherever find books are sold. When Lee shown that says episode look like. Sarajevo the sopranos this how I met Alan, actually, and American vandal will be the topic on the butter percents next week. But I, the forgers masterclass is my topic this week. I was settling into Washington episode of the big painting challenge, which is basically the great British paint off. But I saw an even more alluring program in YouTube right rail called the forgers masterclass in which notorious art forger turned sky arts presenter, John Miot challenges, three pupils each episode to paint in the style of a famous artist, and then Chris, the results, and it's really good. Like it's not, you know, great art. But if what you want is something soothing, like a British joy of painting. This is your jam Miot was content to paint fakes for. Fun until a friend slash client. His started selling them as the genuine article for genuine article prices. So he's extremely knowledgeable about his subjects and what makes them unique. He's not trying to teach anyone how to forge an actual like Edward hopper, but he's trying to communicate wise such forgery might succeed or fail. So if you like the artists that he has tasked the students with trying to mimic, you will definitely get something out of it. I have a hopper calendar over my desk right now, so I definitely enjoy the premier and as someone who can't even draw stick figure. Some of it just wishes Ray pass me, but it is processing like my comments on composition and how the painting dictates to the viewer and it's also very soothing. It's good. Like, I don't know. It's actually good. Like trying not to barf TV, Dave. So after we done recording, you should del- this up. All right. Gonna load. It up right now as as we talk about this. Yes. Sara on YouTube. Yes, it has on YouTube. Okay, we'll link that in the show. And yet it only had one season, but they are essential to find on YouTube and I don't think it's really, I think no one cares anymore. So even if it is like illegally posted, everyone be cool, but that is called the forgers masterclass featuring John Miot. And for my plug, the blood or presents is not.

"I'm still having problem getting guys that are head of me to find me that that's that's, in essence been an issue because now that I've for years for years, I was hanging around that thirteen eleven thirteen area in the rankings trying to get these top ten guy, but nobody wanted to be the the, the guy to take the loss in the top ten then have them fall out of the top ten. So that was their excuse for longtime on fight. Got let improve himself against the top Tanguy I before I get defied. So fortunately once I fought Damion Miot bow. Now I'm there. I'm still having a hard time with those guys. Now, guys, like of course, master dolls, like all to call this guy out. Okay, you that. That's that fight makes no sense in. You've got. Neil Magny at he does on aired says, oh, well, you call me out for two years. Now it's time to fight really what happened two years ago now that makes no sense. And then look at guy like Santiago, Punto Nivo. I was supposed to fight him in Chile. This was his event because he's the South American. They were gonna use him to break those new markets supposed to find him in Chile. In, oh, he falls out. Now he's got about in Argentina will win the rightful the right person like, okay, you know what? I want that back. You ranked ahead of me. I want that fight back, but what is he say? He comes out and says, you know what? Known. Let me RDA. Let's put on a good performance. Now you don't call out somebody wearing the enemy when you need to beat me. You never fight me. You sit down. Let me do my work against everybody wreck the head than you guys can have whatever I have left. So in, I'm still having a hard time with those guys RDA if I do find anybody besides winning the title of timber eight, it's going to be Ardy. Why? Just him. I mean, that's that's really the only that makes sense. Me fought for interim title. That's the fight that puts me right there. I'm not getting till which I wanted not getting him Covent in four times I've been offered that fight. He's declining to everyone not get nag is so the only guy left put me right there is RDA. He's been offered the Covington, five, four times. Or times. Wow, that is cool. He is four times. I've offer that fight. He said, no. And even they try to make that fight again, November thirtieth. They offered me fight. Absolutely. I will wait for that fight because actually they offered me or. May aid Brazil for that main event that go ver in Jimmy men. Wocka. Yeah, I was offered that fight, but I said, yes, I'm ready. I'll take the fi, but he said, no. He said something dealing with something. I don't know where they went on vacation or something. His ear that matter, turn it down or he didn't. It was rainy fide. So let's fine. But that's the only find that interests me. But once they came, they came up in this at hate will give you Covington on the thirtieth. Are you interested in that? Absolutely. That's the one guy that I really really have malicious intent to hurt inside that gays. And so of course they offer me that have course, I jumped at it, but then he goes to the White House, comes back and says, you don't wanna our. So that's crazy. I thought he and I could be wrong about this. I haven't spoken to him in the last for a while. Now, my understanding was he turned on the September five because he would be ready by Tober, November. That was my timeline to see give you any indication about why he ultimately declined. But I mean, this was a day you taught you set you talk for a long time that she wanted title fi. That's fine. Now they give you the title fight, September eight event, but you know what? I'm not ready goes comes out and says, now, you know what? This is my time line. They're gonna. I'm gonna fight when when they ready fight like this is my belt. I'm gonna. You're not the chant. You're you're the inroad guy. You're just a placeholder. The champions ready to go. It gives you the opportunity. You turn it down. So they went with the next guy..
