"Hi everybody, Dennis frager happiness hour sober fun is the subject people vast numbers of people do not think you can have fun. Without some additive without being high, for example, or assume that only high is real where the real fun is, addicts tend to believe that they have a fear that if they do get sober, they won't have fun again. I suspect almost every addict has that particular fear, but a lot of people have it who were not addicts. And who think that it's necessary to escape the world in order to be high, and there was so much in the world to get high on and that's not just the cute line, a throwaway line. I actually believe that. I marvel when I think of all the things that bring me joy. And I think don't any of them work for others. That's why I'm a big fan of hobbies. And just interests in general, you know, I think one of the damaging aspects of modern life, the social media is a killer. Because it takes away from the joy of real life, the real life choice you could have. By preoccupying oneself in the electronic world like that. But there's another thing that I think that ruins kids, ability to enjoy life, too much homework. Can't tell you the contempt I have for schools that assign a lot of homework. And I don't have a particular fund that's for the parents who believe that it's important. You're depriving your children of exploring life. The purpose of life is not to get good grades in high school, so as to get into a good college. Contrary to what vast numbers of parents think. What's your purpose of life once you get into a good college? There is none. You realize that you've lost your purpose. Your whole life has been getting to a good college. Okay, you get into a quote unquote good college, by the way. There are almost no good colleges. So it's an idiotic thing to begin with. But you don't mean good in any of it. You meet prestigious. So your kid gets into a prestigious college, and then what? What's their next, what's the purpose of life after that? They're now 21 years old and they've graduated the good collet now what? I paying job, wow, Whoopi do. That's a biggie. So when did they have time? Again, I have to use my own life because it's the life I know best. I was very, very, very, very, very lucky. In that I thought clearly in a very, very young age, I didn't know homework, none, for four years of high school. Graduated in the bottom 20% of my class, or as I often put at the top 80%. Couldn't care less. It meant nothing to me. In the meantime, I did what I wanted and I got high on music. And international correspondence with my hobby, one of my hobbies was shortwave radio listening. I mean, I developed so many joys of life instead of doing homework. "Talk about this yet. I don't want to jinx this for him. Frankly, he's a nice guy. We've worked together. We've had some great times. He's a jets mets fan. Jet smet's nicks. Which is not the threesome you really want to be if you're a New York fan. The mets have a lot of momentum right now. Mets fans are very excited. It's there in the don't talk about this, but they're all talking about it with each other. And then the jets crush the draft. You had people leaving the draft experts who were like, that's one of the greatest drafts I've ever seen. Tell me what happened? Was it shocking? What was it like to be there for this? You have a chess board and usually the jets are the ones playing from behind and just trying to play defense and they were the aggressors and it worked out exactly how they wanted. So speaking with those guys in the weeks leading up, it was, hey, if sauce is there at four, that's the pick. And at three, the Houston Texans take a corner that isn't sauce. So already, that's a win for them. They're like, all right, they're going to take stingley. We'll take sauce. We're good. Then it was we need to get Zach Wilson a weapon. Now wait, can you hold that for one second? Yeah. Why do you think they didn't take thibodeau? When Sal has that niners DNA of like, it all starts with the pass rush. Wouldn't that have been like the classic salad pick or is he not running this? Sure, no, I think he would have been fine getting thibodeau. I'll tell you that they had Jermaine Johnson as high as thibodeau on their board. Wow. So sauce to them at that point, corner is such a deficiency for them. They have nothing at corner. They were like, let's get that guy. Bring him in. He could be the leader of our defense, who is 6 foot two, and that is their product. That's Darrell Revis to them. If you're taking them forth overall, that's how you view them. So they got him. Thibodeau wasn't there at ten. I think it would have been a conversation. Giants took him at 5, but it wasn't real debate there internally between thibodeaux and sauce. They wanted the corner. So they get him ten, they get Garrett. How much of that? How much is that we wanted the corner just like, we're not getting out of this comfort conference without a shutdown corner. I think that's 90% of it. I think that's a lot of it. I also think they looked at him as one of the true sure things in this draft. And for the jets, they can't, they can't take a swing. They can't take any variables, like sauce to them, was their guy. I'm not so certain. I think Hutchinson they would have taken if he felt a four, but I'm not so certain they would have taken sauce over Trayvon walker also. That's how high they viewed sauce going into this thing. So they get him. They get the receiver. And that's when it really gets interesting. So if they had just gone to bed and said, all right, we got sauce and Wilson, we got our top corner and one of our top receivers, great. But Jermaine Johnson, who the red flag that I only see is that his age that he's 24 and he's got a little bit more tread on the tires, they loved him. They had him as a top 8 guy on their board. So when he starts slipping out of the top ten, top 15, Joe Douglas is working the phones. He could not find a trade partner. They finally find one at 26 and I can tell you like they are way more ecstatic about getting Jermaine Johnson as a third first round pick than they were of getting the four in the ten who they expected they'd get blue chip players. They viewed this guy that they were at the senior bowl. They saw what he can do, and they love his journey because he went from Minnesota high school to community college to Georgia to then Florida state and then he bet on himself. He's like, I'm leaving Georgia where I'm not one of the top guys. I'll go to Florida state and he was the ACC's defensive player of the year. So they are thrilled about that. And then night two, they had breece hall as a first round pick as a top 32 guy. And he's a running back out of Iowa state, no running backs were taken. The rumor was that Houston was going to take him with the second pick of the second round. They call the Giants. They move around. They trade up. And they get in front of Houston and get Reese hall, one pick before Houston. So to them, it's like, all right, four first round picks, and then they get Rucker, who's a kid from Long Island. He's from Lyndon Hirst, and he's like, as Long Island as you get as their tight end, who will be their third tight end where they've got Conklin and CJ uzama. So they're very happy. If Zach Wilson sucks, none of this means anything. And that's it, Bill. They're very happy, but they're also very, very aware of the situation. And, you know, I spoke to Salah after the draft and he's like, yeah, we got great players, but we haven't done shit yet. He knows. And Zac has to be good and Makai beckton has to show up in shape because they passed on icky iguana and these other guys. There's a lot of other things that have to happen for actual wins on the field. But for a brief weekend, it's nice to celebrate that there's some competence with the jets. By the way, speaking of the paths, I was talking about the blue chippers..

"They look like they look like shit. Ever since I want to say a round of that outdoor game time. To we saw, we reverse chiclets boosted them. Remember they went on a run merley said they were like 9 O one one after we got there and then we brought it up and that's what mushed them. We must come right after that. They can't get any saves. Caulking in his rebound controls a nightmare. As far as their penalty kills concern, it's atrocious right now. Whether that has to do with goaltending or the four van units that they're sending out there, I have no clue. Am I concerned about them moving forward? Not really. I think they have a pretty deep team. They just got dumba and zuk off the IR. That's going to help out a lot. Because I think because zook was coming back, they had to put greenway on the IR as well. So I don't know if this is a team that's going to end up making a trade at the deadline, but they do need something to spark them to go into the second or I guess the last one third of the season to get going before the playoffs because right now it's looking ugly. I think they've won like four games in their last 15 or something ridiculous. So but as far as the fact that next year I think it's 8 million in the year to two years after it's like 10 million for those bio to parisi and suitor. I mean, they kind of had to do it and at times it's really helped this year, but that sucks for the next few years trying to deal with that with the cap not going up these next year. Yeah. On top of that, I think we have a new TNT between the bench analyst. Tyler segan after he scored well, I think that he originally got credit for it off his shoulder, but then they gave it to pavelski unless they ended up changing it back again, but he was talking with panger and I mean, if you want to boost up the female viewership, get in between the benches shirtless. You know, that stuff is. I said on Twitter. You can't plan for it. It was very impromptu, but that should happen more often, just like I have a guy go over and kind of give us two cents. I thought it was really good shit, man. I like to say I can pop over. It wasn't planned, it wasn't like thought of ahead of time. What he said actually was what happened to he basically said exactly what the ruin was. You should be a producer. First of all, RA, and that's a genius idea every time there's a goal being reviewed, they should put the headset on the guy who potentially scored it, watching over and over and giving his insight. That's a genius call. All right. Once in a while, yeah. I fucking was a broken clock twice a day. That type of thing. Even a blind squirrel can find a nut unless it's the squirrel that RA was feeding them chowder into an apartment that day. It happened. Another note from that game, Riley tufte, he was missed the hockey and Minnesota high school of 6 years ago. When a pair of titles at Minnesota Duluth, he was supposed to play his first NHL game back in November and he got scratched at the last minute after you bought a shitload of tickets. Well, the other day, that was his first game in Minnesota. He ended up scoring a goal and it's kind of funny how life plays out. I was like, I was going to ask you biz, would you rather go through the misery of getting scratched after the final tickets to score your first goal in that game or be able to play that first game and not score a goal? Well, I think that's the hockey gods helping them out and giving them the shit sandwich rebound from cocking and just giving them that nice little scoop and play. So congrats to him. And they were talking about so he won a national championship to maybe two national champions with Minnesota Duluth. So to score back to scored an autobio to score in front of the home crowd like that, that is freaking awesome, especially having gone through the situation where he bought all those tickets and got thrown on the bus. Yeah, it's gonna be an awesome thing. And I mentioned Jason Robinson's two hat tricks over the weekend that we didn't even mention the first one Friday night overtime. He got his third goal and he was out of gas made that sick move kind of got tripped and he just fell into the boards. It was like the anti celebration celebration. He did the dead man's float and just laid it was like, was it technically a celly biz? No, what was your point? We did the caption contest and I said, I said 5 minutes after I dump one into my belly button before my pre game nap, that was my caption. He deserves the rest. What was your caption? Did you get one in there? I don't know if I put one or not. I wrote a blog. I call the dead man's float 'cause he was just looked like a fucking dead guy. Look how he was passed out or whatever. I think that's gonna be the new one, the weekend at Bernie's, just passed out and looked like the dead. I think a kid had one either in the American League or I think he might have played for belleville recently and he scored an overtime and he just left the ice. Gee, did you see that? Was it belleville? I thought it was Manitoba. Man, it's over. Oh, the moose. Yeah..
