Trump's tax revelation, what are the highlights?
"Donald J trump paid seven hundred and fifty dollars in federal income taxes the year he won the presidency in his first year in the White House he paid another seven hundred and fifty dollars. He had paid no income taxes at all in ten of the previous fifteen years largely because he reported losing much more money than he made. So that's the lead. In this is in reporting from New York Times Sunday afternoon by investigative reporters Russ Butner Suzanne Craig, and Mike Macintyre now Russell Suzanne incidentally or two of the three that dropped the huge story on trump's finances in October of two thousand, eighteen ahead of the midterm elections. and that was fueled by the financial documents provided by Mary trump who is now suing the president and his siblings by the way for defrauding her out of millions of dollars. But back to today's story from the New York Times quote. The New York Times has obtained tax return data extending over more than two decades for Mr Trump and the hundreds of companies that make up his business organization including detailed information from his first two years in office. It does not include his personal returns for two, thousand, eighteen or twenty nineteen. This article offers an overview of times findings. Additional articles will be published in the coming weeks. So this one, hundred and ninety two paragraph long story is an overview of the times findings. this is the sparks notes the abridged version the Reader's digest abridged story. And I'm GonNa go over the key highlights with you. Hundred Ninety two paragraphs is the overview of what they found. And they're going to be releasing multiple stories in coming weeks for details about what they've uncovered an important caveat here by their very nature, the filings will leave many questions on answered. These tax returns that they got many questions will be unfulfilled. They comprise information that Mr. Trump has disclosed to the irs not the findings of an independent financial examination they report the trump owns hundreds of millions of dollars in valuable assets, but they do not reveal his true wealth nor do they reveal any previously on reported connection to Russia? This kind of makes sense why Sivan's needs the documents, right These data simply report revenue not profit in two, thousand eighteen for example, trump announced his disclosure in his disclosure that he had made at least four, hundred, thirty, four, point, nine, million dollars. The tax records deliver a very different portrait of his bottom line forty seven point four, million dollars in losses. So he announced his disclosure, he made four hundred and thirty, five million. In here it says he lost forty seven point four million. To that's what he filed his taxes as. All of the information that times obtain was provided by sources with legal access to it. So we can. Try to guess. WHO This to the New York Times prior to the election maybe somebody on the case who knew that the case wouldn't be Sort of we wouldn't see any fruits of that until after the election. I don't know I'd be guessing. These tax data examined. by The Times, provide a roadmap of revelations from write offs for the cost of criminal defense lawyer a mansion used by the family retreat to a full accounting of the millions of dollars that the president received from the twenty thirteen Miss Universe pageant in Moscow. So that's kind of a Russian dealing. The apprentice may trump a total of four, hundred, twenty, seven, point, four, million, which he then invested in a collection of businesses that we're failing mostly golf courses. They steadily devour cash much as the money he secretly received from his father the and how that financed spree of quixotic overspending that led to his collapse in the ninety. the picture that perhaps emerges most starkly from the mountain of figures and tax schedules prepared by Mr Trump's accountants accountants. MAZAAR. Clue. Probably got this from the Manhattan Da Somebody there. This is the picture that emerges starkly is of a businessman president in a tightening financial vice. Most of trump's core enterprises from his constellation of golf courses to conservative magnet. Hotel in Washington I guess it draws conservatives. They all report losing millions if not tens of millions of dollars year after year. His revenue from the apprentice and from licensing deals drying up and several years ago he sold nearly all the stocks that now might have helped him plug holes in his struggling properties and tax looms. And within the next four years more than three, hundred, million in loans and obligations for which he's personally responsible personally will come do. Over the next four years. And these records show the actual and potential conflicts of interest created by trump's refusal to divest himself of his business interest. While in the White House his properties have become havens for collecting money directly from lobbyists, foreign officials, and others seeking facetime access or favors. The record for the first time, put precise dollar figures on these transactions. Here's some examples at the Mar, a Lago Club, a flood of new members starting in two thousand fifteen allowed him to pocket an additional five, million a year from the business people paying for access at his Durrell Golf Course in Miami. The roofing materials manufacturer GIF spent at least one point, five, million in two, thousand, eighteen even has as its industry was lobbying the trump administration to rollback egregious federal regulations conflict. In two thousand Seventeen Billy Graham vandalistic association paid about four hundred thousand dollars to the Washington Hotel where the group held at least one event during its four day World Summit in defense of persecuted Christians. Then when he took office Mr Trump said he would pursue no new foreign deals as president. Even. So in his first two years in the White House is revenue from abroad till seventy three, million dollars. And while much of that money was from his golf properties in Scotland and Ireland some came from licensing deals in countries with authoritarian leaning leaders or thorny geopolitics. For example, three million from Deteriora- from the Philippines two point three, million from India and one million from Turkey. Now the data also contains. Revelations about the one hundred, thirty, thousand dollars payment to Stephanie Clifford Stormy Daniels. The, which is one of the focuses of the Manhattan da Subpoena for trump's tax returns. Another financial information another clue that that might be where they got this. However. They say that it has no new revelations, but there is kind of a revelation because trump has acknowledged reimbursing cohen. Who made the? Payoff. But the materials obtained by The Times did not include any itemize payments to Cohen. The amount however could have been improperly included in legal fees written off as a business expense which are not required to be itemized tax returns that says to me. That trump. Didn't make the payoff where he would have had to have itemize it. Which says to me. It was improperly recorded. As a business transaction. At for legal fees, which is another thing to Manhattan as looking at. Business fraud. Falsifying business documents. Now, no subject has provoked more intense speculation about trump's finances than his connections to Russia while the tax records revealed no previously unknown financial connection and for the most part lack specificity required to do. So they did shed light on the money behind the two thousand thirteen Miss Universe pageant in Moscow at the subject of Enduring Intrigue Because of subsequent investigations into Russia's interference in two thousand sixteen. So basically what the time saying here is that there's nothing itemized here about Russia, but there wouldn't be because it's not required to be in tax returns but boy, did we see something interesting about the? Miss Universe Pageant in twenty thirteen. The records show that the pageant was the most profitable Miss Universe during trump's time is co owner and that generated a personal payday of two point three million dollars made possible by the Aguilara F- family at least in part who would later help set up the infamous twenty sixteen trump tower meeting. For. Officials seeking dirt on Clinton with Veselnitskaya who is now we know connected directly to the Kremlin. The record show that in two thousand thirteen to paget reported thirty one point six, million in gross receipts. That's the highest since at least the nineties allowing trump and his co owner NBC's split the profits of four point seven million by comparison trump and NBC lost two million on the deal the year before. Moscow and made three point eight million from the one the year after. So it appears the Russia one. Made money and made a lot of money a lot more money than it ever has before. So did. Russia overpaid trump for this event. Wonder why? In Two thousand, thirteen?
UN General Assembly: US-China tensions flare over coronavirus
"Pandemic is a test of international cooperation. One, the U. N secretary general says the world is failing is NPR's Michelle Kellerman reports that failure Was on display at the ongoing General Assembly. The secretary general is trying to use this virtual General Assembly to get countries to work together to fight the pandemic and many other global challenges. But one Security Council debate showed just how hard this will be. You know shame on each of you. I am astonish, and I'm disgusted. That's the U. S ambassador to the U. N. Kelly Craft accusing her colleagues, though not naming, which ones of playing politics with covert 19 members of the council who took this opportunity to focus on political grudges rather than the critical issue at hand. My goodness Craft defended the Trump administration's decision to pull out of the World Health Organization and said China should be held to account for quote, unleashing this plague onto the world. China's Ambassador John Joon, says the US is just trying to blame others for its own failings. The United the States has been spread in political virus on this information. And for 18 confrontation on division. Up to that point, it had been a rather dry Security Council meeting about global governance in the wake of covert 19. There was a lot of talk about multilateralism and a few veiled swipes at the Trump Administration's America first approach, Kraft said. The U. S has given you n agencies $900 million to counter the pandemic and compared that to others on the Security Council. NYU's year 4.6 million South Africa 8.4 million Indonesia five million. The US does give more to the U. N than other, says Richard Gallon of the International Crisis Group. But this is not just about money. Foreign diplomats had grown accustomed to trump attacking. Yuen arrangements like the Paris climate deal on mechanisms like the Human Rights Council. But they were genuinely shocked the Washington would walk away from the W. H O during a global pandemic. Speaking via Skype, he said diplomats are worried about what he calls a nasty fight between the US and China as Beijing tries to increase its influence in the world body on a day to day basis, Chinese diplomats in New York are often Very assertive, increasingly hard line and sometimes bullying colleagues from smaller countries. The reality is that for most members of the U. N, neither the US nor China Is offering an attractive vision of the future of multilateralism and the world needs multilateral solutions on a range of issues beyond the pandemic, says Latisha Courtois, who represents the International Committee of the Red Cross. She's raising the alarms about the forgotten conflicts from Yemen to this, the hell region of Africa has a triple threat of climate conflict and called it mansions. And for that they need to be a collective approach. The U. N Secretary General Antonio Guterres made the same appeal all week, reminding diplomats that the World Sol a previous period of fragmentation a century ago. The result was the first World War. Followed by the seconds. Over. 19 is casting a dark shadow across the world. And he called the band eh Mika warning that must spur US toe action. Michelle Kelemen. NPR news, the State Department

Why we must confront hard historical truths
"Not that long ago I received an invitation to spend a few days at the historic. Of James Madison. James Madison of course was the fourth president of the United States, the father of the constitution, the architect of the bill of rights and as a historian I was really excited. To go to this historic site because I understand and appreciate the power of place. Now, Madison called his estate monpellier and mom Pelia is absolutely beautiful is several thousand acres. Rolling Hills farmland forest with absolutely breathtaking views of the blue. Ridge. Mountains but it's a haunting beauty. because. Montpellier was also a slave labor camp. You see James Madison slave more than one hundred people over the course of his lifetime. And he never a single soul, not even upon his death. The centerpiece of Montpellier is Madison's matching. This is where James Madison grew up. This is where he returned to after his presidency. This is where he eventually died and the centerpiece of Madison's mansion is his library this room on the second floor where Madison conceived and conceptualized the bill of rights when I visited for the first time, the director of Education Christian coats. Cool. Why do took me almost immediately to the library. And it was amazing being able to stand in this place where such an important moment in. American history happened. But then after a little while they're Christian actually took me downstairs to the sellers of the. Mansion. Now in the sellers of the mansion, that's where the enslaved African Americans who manage the House spent most of their time. It's also where they were installing a new exhibition on slavery in America. and. While we were there Christian instructed me to do something I thought it was a little bit strange. He told me to take my hand and place it on the brick walls of the seller and slide it along until I felt these impressions or ridges in the face of the brick. Now Look I was going to be staying on site on his former slave plantation for a couple of days. So I wasn't trying to upset any white people. Because when this was over, I want make sure that I could get out. But as I'm actually sliding my hand along the seller war, I couldn't help but think about my daughters and my youngest one in particular who was only about two or three years old at the time because every time she hot out of our car, she would take her hand and slide it along the outside, which is absolutely disgusting and then. And if I couldn't get to her in time, she would take her fingers and pop them in the mouth which drive. Absolutely crazy. So this is what I'm thinking about what I'm supposed to be a historian. But then, but then I actually do feel these impressions in the brick I feel these ridges in the brick and it takes a second to realize what they are, what they are are tiny handprints. Because all the bricks at James Madison's estate were made by the children that he enslaved. And that's when it hit me. That The library in which. James Madison conceived and conceptualizes the bill of rights rests on a foundation of bricks. Made by the children that he enslaved. And? This. Is. Hard. History. It's hard history because it's difficult to imagine the kind of inhumanity. That leads one to enslave children to make bricks. Your comfort and convenience is hard history because it's hard to talk about the violence of slavery. The beatings, the whippings, the kidnappings, the forced family separations is hard history because it's hard to teach white supremacy. Which is the ideology that justified slavery. And so rather than confront hard history. We tend to avoid it. Now sometimes that means just. Stuff up. I can't tell you how many times I've heard people say that states rights was the primary cause of the civil war. That would actually come as a surprise. So the people who fought in the civil war. Sometimes. We try to rationalize hard history. When people visit Montpellier and by people in this instance, white people. When they visit mom appeal your and learn about Madison slaving people. They often ask. But wasn't he a good master? A good master. There is no such thing as a good master. There is only worse and worse her. And sometimes. We just pretend the past didn't happen. I can't tell you how many times I've heard people say it's hard to imagine slavery existing outside of the plantation south no, it ain't. Slavery existed in every American colony slavery existed in my home state of New York for fifty years after the American revolution. Why do we do this? Why do we avoid confronting hard history? Literary performer and Educator Reggie. Gibson had the truth of it when he said that our problem as Americans. Is We actually hate history. What we love Is No style.

The Mystery of Woodchester Mansion
"People have lived in the area of Gloucestershire share. Now known as would chester park since the Romans invaded Britannia but the site of the Winchester Mansion itself began as a hunting lodge in the middle of a heavily wooded deer park. The ducie family purchased the Land Law in Sixteen thirty one renovating it into a Georgian. House called Spring Park. The ducey's kept the house in a near constant state of renovation added several landscaping features to the sprawling four thousand Acre valley including a group of art official lakes in eighteen forty. The second earl of Ducie inherited the property from his recently deceased father. The Legend of what happened that fateful year would be the first indication that something wasn't quite right at the would chester estate. It's no wonder that rumors of full body apparitions, disembodied voices, and the strange smell of extinguish candles persist. Not when the initial occupancy of the mansion turned out to be so very, very strange. Henry was grateful that his father and past he would never say so loud but he could not be happier. He had long toiled in the shadows of Thomas Reynolds Morton look first earl of Ducie. While the reward of inherited title was a nice reward for his time. It wasn't enough Thomas expected a lot out of him henry heated the permanence near the Thomas War around his son the constant lack of approval had driven Henry to dark thoughts. It was unfair that someone who had so much could feel as though they were nothing. He'd contemplated killing his own father regularly. It wished for his father's death a thousand times. But wishes weren't enough. At night he trump of sneaking into his father's room and crushing his windpipe Thomas, Cole ties would stare back at him in defiance but Henry would only press harder. He would steal every ounce of paint from his father that he could. He would revel in at even. This was the retribution he deserved. But by the time, he finally summoned the courage to act on his feelings fate had intervened. His father was dead and Henry would be able to keep his soul free at sin. He should have been overjoyed, but there was a part of him. That was disappointed. Henry had wanted to watch the life leave is father's is. Instead, S. he stood in the church on that summer morning he saw the corpse of an older man that felt nothing like his father. This husk of a person wasn't even the slightest bit intimidating. He was justice Shell Serene still. No fire behind the size no disapproving sneer. To the best of his knowledge Thomas Reynolds, Morton had never looked serene is life. Death was as the saying goes the great equalizer Henry didn't WanNA. Feel equal to his father he wanted to feel better that him. His shock at being robbed of the chance to end his father's life was eventually swallowed by his own greed. He held the title and the purse strings that once belonged to Thomas. The legacy had been passed onto him and he could do whatever he wanted with that power. His first act of filial disobedience was going to be a party. He would holden enchanted forest themed masquerade at his father's last real estate acquisition but converted Hunting Lodge in Winchester Park. It was still under construction, but the ballroom was mostly finished and the incomplete designed would really add to the atmosphere. Henry woke with a sense of clear purpose on the day of the party even though he held the title for weeks, this would be his entrance into high society as an earl. The people would give him the respect they never gave his father. A. Played softly as Henry mingled with his guests, he welcomed as many people as he could bobbing out of conversations whenever he grew tired of the subject matter. Most of these guests were more his father's friends than his. He despised them, but he couldn't resist the chance to hold his new title and the imminent chaos heads. He outranked nearly all of them now. Though the event was a masquerade few visit guests had been particularly inventive. There was fun and trying to guess who everyone was. Something always gave them away the gate, the bone structure, the laugh. There were at least four uninspiring looking deer and far too many rakish second sons had decided to come as wolves. But there was one person Henry didn't know. A strange masked man was weaving his way through the crowd. He had never introduced himself and his body language was unfamiliar. Henry tried to get closer, but he struggled to even get a clear view of the masked man. The pushed through the of gentry ignoring their complaints. Finally. When the crowd parted they met. The mysterious man was standing still gazing out one of the large glazed windows to the forest behind. And redrew closer and put one gloved hand on the man's shelter. The did not turn around.

"I realized I've been using the words envy and Jealousy interchangeably when there's actually a fine but stark difference between them. Jealousy. is about fear. Jealousy is anxiety about losing what you have that nervous feeling that someone is out for your spot. Envy on the other hand is about desire. Envy is wanting what you don't yet have its daydreaming and striving and keeping up with the Joneses. But. The primary difference I would say is that these are two radically different feelings. Jealousy. Is Corrosive and painful, and it drives you absolutely up the wall. Envy on the other hand is almost. Fun. I mean I feel like what my therapist would tell you that my obsession with comparison is like not good for my life. But I also feel like it's a strong part of unfortunately my personality for writer Evie Ebert envy is a byproduct of ambition I had kind of built my life around this idea that This version of me and the president is not the real me. Of course, I could be much worse off but I was like green with envy about people whose homes are larger were living in better climates maybe who had outdoor pools and I had a real inclination to kind of judge myself for becoming obsessed with. Who has a better basically and so I was like, no, this is part of my self care practice is allowing myself to be annoyed by people. But then every realized that other people were probably allowing themselves to be annoyed at her. He's essay in the cut is titled Do. You hate me for my lawn. She has a law and it feels extremely luxurious like being able to open the front door and signed my four year old out I feel like marie-antoinette basically for a while felt like everything and anything was a luxury showing off your sour dough bread meant you had groceries Zoom conferences meant you had a job complaining about your kids had human contact you can't win at this. I mean, some people are having A. Hard. Time but nobody's having fun and then in the midst of pointing our fingers at each other and tossing are envy around our immediate circle. We picked our ears up. We heard sound. Horrible sound. No has been the siren song of extremely wealthy celebrities. Huge We rose up and grabbed R N D, r proverbial pitchforks, and we marched to the photographs of Drake's weirdly empty hotel lobby of mansion. We swarmed to pick apart the celebrity bookshelves on zoom. We roundly mocked the rich and famous as insistence that all in this together it was so overtly tone-deaf. Are. Envy. was almost. Delicious I'm having this resentment and you're having to and it's it's something that we're kind of sharing. I feel like it's part of the shared pandemic experienced. It was suddenly like we were truly all in this together. Freud talks about this in civilization and its discontents that cohesive society unites around a common enemy an out group. There are lots of scary an unfortunate examples of the groups America has ostracized, but the rich and famous are not among them. Because, it's so much more complicated than pure animosity if they're so awful and they're so ridiculous in there. So repugnant why? Why does Kim Kardashian have like a Zillion instagram followers molly young is the literary critic for New York magazine and she was wondering why we want to keep looking at rich people for envy or fantasy or whatever we turn to them for I mean what's interesting about the quarantine is you started seeing a lot of people turn against celebrities right like Ellen complaining that quarantining in her gigantic house made her feel like she was imprisoned or whatever, and finally people are starting. To kind of examine the purpose that these celebrities are serving in our lives need to examine why we're interested in them in the first place

For over fifteen years he ignored the knocks the shadows, the whispers, the windows and doors, opening and closing at the oddest hours of the night. But then one night as he and his wife or eating dinner. The door to the basement creaked open. A strange man mounted the steps bit by bit. There was no other entrance to the seller. The intruder had to have concealed himself below somehow. Waiting to ambush them. Lamont took no chances as he drew his pistol and fired is aim. What's true? The bullets striking the man in in the chest as the basement door slammed, shut behind him. But the stranger did not fall. He did not even blink. I just have a quick question for you. You were eliminated rather early on Peter. SEASON, what was it? Week four okay. How has it been watching as a viewer? Having not been there for all his mess, and then being able to just observe what's happened in the aftermath of the season. I think it's weird getting. The silent when you're there. Obviously you don't see everything happening, but like when you get to watch us an outsider, you get to see the big picture so I think like a lot of things start to make sense to me watching it back like Oh okay so this is what was happening that I was so far removed from some of the drama, and so much of the things that went on I was like a while. So this is what was going on. I feel like so dumb. I was there in the middle of everything, and I didn't even notice these things happening. So definitely weird looking on, but it was kind of funny like it made a lot of theft. How do you feel about Kellyanne Peter Being together now? I is it true? Friends with Kelly, but she's never once actually mentioned. Any thinks I'm like. Is it true like are these rumors like what's going on But if confirmed it, they confirmed it okay, so I mean. Hey. "On in the podcast we're going to have matt to talk about his relationship with Rudy's, but we do WANNA. Mention that the date card came out to matt and Rudy and said it's you. It's both of you and they went to a concert that shaggy performed at Shug. SHUG A. So. Let's stop here actually because to your point. You're sadden because every day to this point was romantic or fun like fun and like the Shaggy Concert, maybe not the most romantic concert, but exciting you got to get on stage. You got to sing and dance with Shaggy, and then we have the card number four come for Ryan and Tasha. It says it's time to dig. They are destroying cars. So random. Yeah, so they definitely put them on the. Day. That's because there's nothing they're like. You'll be so awkward to see them at a candlelight dinner, right? They just both having talent. Like what are you at this point? What do you assume their conversations are like? Do you think they both believe I? Mean you saw later on when Natasha laughed? And Ryan left at Ryan, hints to her. Hey, I want to see if this can work outside of this. Is that something that you believe is still going on now. but I do I. think that Ryan's probably thinking man. I'm so good at performing with this girl as we saw in the two weeks prior like you know last week before. That he probably doesn't want to drop out on what they could do. Together on stage probably wants to keep some sort of performance relationship together especially since they'll be paired in bachelor nation, so it's best to monopolize on. That makes sense I mean. We move on. Let's move to the dates of happen. The connections exist. Ashley you or saddened because you felt like that Ryan and Tasha did not have a romantic date. I would agree, but hey. We're excited for their performance because their performance always pulls. Listen waiting for them to just blow the pants off that performance and I was so disappointed. Everybody was better than them. Let's go and talk about the performances Curson. Breyer of the judges this week are are A. In lorant, Lion Dyke Pat Moynahan massive name from terrain and Ashley in Evan. Ross formerly known as Ashley Simpson was her maiden name Chris and Brite we're I. They sing a song by Elvis. I can't help falling in love. Yeah, at first I'm like. Chris isn't giving Chris the vocal range that he's so good an and then halfway through the amt it up and I thought it was amazing. The did a great job, and she sounded probably the Bassett she has all season in my opinion. Not Agree I mean Chris started out. Shaky those first couple not like. Oh, what's going? Where's this going to go? This is what you're used to, but by the end I mean I think I'm learning I'm learning. Something from the show is when you do have a true connection with somebody. I think you see I think it does show through music. I'm and I think his true connects with Brie helped him to take it up a notch after those first couple notes were shaky, and by the end we are all we had forgotten the beginning. We were just celebrating them as a couple again and agreed with what I think. Evans said he said that even though it wasn't like his perfect register because he was so gentle and sensitive singing those lines. It almost made up for it. Chris talented breeze extremely talented I A huge fan of this couple. It's fun to see no matter you know the show. It's fun to see a connection made like this. We got to celebrate love when it exists and it's love. It's definitely existing between them. The next performance was Jamie and driver just a kiss by lady antebellum. I was very surprised that the two of them were not super familiar with the song, especially with Jamie being a Nashville native in a country singer. But we got to see Jamie. Have this amazing jolt of confidence this week because I think they exchanged the I fall. I'm falling in love with us. And she rocked the stage. She didn't have her normal jitters. She Express yourself with confidence and they did. It was the rest performance of our. When you get told when you risk saying hey, I, love you to somebody and they respond back. Like how does that feel? It's the best I mean. There's only happened to me once in my life, but it was the greatest and I when I saw. That scene I flashed back to where I was when Jerry told me for the first time. That's cool. I really is i. mean it does because you can see. In Jamie this week. She's doing like high kicks and address. She's like I don't know. She was like ready to explode through a wall. Then grow so pumped issues adorable. was. Awesome to see in the love existed on stage in the two of them crushed it Natasha and Ryan Rep next. They sing perfect by Ed Sheeran. Yep and the I didn't even recognize the song. I didn't recognize saw it was weird. And apparently like I said earlier in a Tasha, sang a verse that was supposed to be his and I was wondering during the performance I was like. Why isn't he singing at all? And then she'd like grabbed two Mikes, and then started like playing the guitar in walking down the catwalk, and it was just so. If only those judges saw them last week. I know I'll drop it. Drop it. It's tough. It was hard to watch, but I do think you know the three couples remaining have the best connections as well so the last couple. Rudy and matt singing shallow from a star is born. We'll talk to matt about it more here in just a little bit, but from our perspective, just one of our favorite songs. Oh absolutely and this song that they tease the whole season wet, and it's the song that truly was like. Why are they teasing this season with? Because it's one of the best songs of the past decade and it's GonNa be one of the most chemistry performances that. US millennials have probably ever seen in. It's a lot to live up to. And I, just kind of wanted to let it lie. It's kind of like when they reboot your favorite show, or they do a sequel to your favorite movie. You're like just let it lie, but they. I think Rudy and Matt did it did Justice I mean? It Ain't Gaga and Bradley Cooper. Pretty good. It was super good. I thought it was a great performance. We'll talk about in just a little bit well. That leads us to the Rose Ceremony Jamie and trevor receive a rose then. Matt and Rudy receive a rose finally Chris in bree receiver rose in Ashley Bryan in. Tasha are sent home. By guys, it was a pleasure watching you. Well! Ryan was Super Town Natasha just an incredible artists. The two of them will be just fine I i. we wish the best in their careers because I think the two of them are are just off.

"Google play. That is friends without the our best fiends. This week's listen to your heart. It's getting down. To the end which means that we would expect drama to ensue Ashley. What do you think of this week? Break Down Hey. We man this week. He. What do you think I'm thinking right now? What you think I'm thinking Ben. I think you're sad. Yes, I. Think, you're sad. Emotions. Go ahead. Let it out. I've so upset. I mean I know obviously that Ryan and a Tasha don't have some amazing Roman. I don't have anything at all. They gave him the lease romantic mandic there could be. They played with like construction machines. They played with bulldozers. Thought they were ignoring their relationship most of the episode and I thought like they were doing so because they just want us to focus on their performance because it performances are so strong. But to go from last week's amazing performance that I watch four times over and over again. Wow, yeah! To this week's performance, which I have to admit was pretty darn sake, but then to eliminate them, because of one crappy performance that was upsetting but I also was very very prepared for it because. The other couples are so much stronger and I think at the end of the day. This show is still a bachelor show, and the love is going to trump the performance so. I'm very beloved lease. Happy that it was like five of the six episodes Ryan was president. And I know there's one episode that I'm going to have to get through without. My my boy band Broadway musician. Either he's super town. They both are. It was not the right song for them. It fell weird. Weird in the arrangement, and the fact that she eft up and saying a different verse I was like. Did they do that on purpose? Did something somebody tell her to do that, so they could dislike flounder. Unless. I thought that they think may have been told the flounder on purpose because their relationship wasn't distraught enough. Okay. That's all well. If we start at the beginning of the episode here, couples this week are Matt and Rudy Jamie and Trevor Chris and Breezy Ryan in the Tasha Chris Harrison arrives at the mansion and as usual he has big news for the contestants involved. He said they're heading from the mansion and going to las. Vegas so they jump in their own tour buses and get on the road, and I'm going to stop here nationally think. One of the funniest parts about this to me was they're acting like this is a long road trip. Out of. Our Drive That long at all. They're going to get to know each other so well in the four hours. I I said the same thing to my mom. She's like Oh God. This is so like mom. They're gonNA. Be on the bus for four hours. all so then I couldn't stop thinking about the cost of a tour bus. Having known how much your tour buses cost for a week of being out in the bachelor. Live tour. It is not cheap at all. It's very very not economical, so you're. You're looking at these tour buses I'm thinking. How cool is I just got off to her and it was awesome like it was such a cool experience for me personally to live on a tour bus was a big change, but it was fun. It was exciting, so hey, you get a four hour drive from L. A. TO VEGAS The funniest part. These couples are getting out and like I remember one of the couples. I forget. Who was like Oh you? Watch a couple movies and snuggled. means. You only have time for like maybe a movie and a half by the time that. Like you wasted your alone time with with the movie I guess like. I don't know jared and I kind of did that. In our fantasies sleep, he will like. Would you do I was like well? We watched a TV show in the morning. You is really nice to watch TV. Without TV for like two weeks at this point. It's you know it was sweet. I'd get why and I'm sure I'm sure it was fun, so I don't want to poop. Who Their? Tour from. La Vegas, but let's be. Let's be honest. Most people would drive from L. A. to Vegas four like even a day just to Kinda hang out in in the city, so the first day card comes to Bre-, in Chris and it says like this will last forever. They had to the little white chapel. Yup and they watch a couple married and they sing for them. And that's it you know all those teases about them. Getting married in a little white chapel, where of course just that teases. It kind of feel like it could though like this couple is legit. I could, too. I wouldn't have been surprised if they did I. would have been like yeah. I go to be together forever and based on the fact that we had that conversation with Brie last week, and she keeps talking about them in the present, and I'm like. Yeah, they're still together and I feel like I. Think they're gonNA end up together. Could I go as far as to say? This is one of the most. Noticeable? Connections that I've ever seen on a bachelor. Show the two of them together. Yeah, I would say that. It feels very peaceful. Sturdy, it's something to celebrate. Yeah, it's very celebratory. So the day carnival to comes in, your love will keep you warm. This is two trevor in Jamie. They're playing hockey or ice skating at the stadium there in Las Vegas. Yeah, the t mobile arena and I'm like wow! They spend a lot of money on this. They go ice skating where the Las Vegas Knights play, and that was a really cool experience. Trevor was a former hockey player and Jamie. You know there's points in this episode where I just keep thinking man's girls so twenty one. She's telling Rudy to say I love you. She wants to say I love you, Trevor after two weeks and I'm like two weeks. Girl, just keep it in. Just play cool, but she is relatable in the sense that like she. She's a little awkward. She's so excited about everything that's going on. and. She just can't keep it in. She says I love you and then even though Trevor says. To hurt like ten minutes earlier that he can't say I'm falling for you until he like really feels it. Apparently, he did really feel it because there are on the rink and he says I'm falling for you to. You know so far. It's a match made in. Wasn't your heart history I mean there's some good couples going on. Now later on in the podcast we're going to have matt to talk about his relationship with Rudy's, but we do WANNA. Mention that the date card came out to matt and Rudy and said it's you. It's both of you and they went to a concert that shaggy performed at Shug. SHUG A. So. Let's stop here.

DC heard the craft ceramic fragments of a chamber pot literate the floor. He was a strange thing to have in a house as modernist. This billy had the first free standing shower in Saint Louis after all there was a knock at the door. The servants wanted to know if she was all right. She made a quick excuse and asked for a few more minutes to compose herself. Both women looked at her strangely but nodded their heads and exited. Daisy studied the corner for several more moments but there was nothing there. She sneezed Pencil shavings floated it softly down onto her face. Tilting her head up she found a small hole in the ceiling. The source of the sound. Whoever was in distress was hidden above her? She left the room satisfied that she had laid the case to rest as the maids walked with her. JC AC asked who had the pleasure of living above stairs. The servants shared luck. No one lived that room. They insisted a ghost. That left Pencil shavings too ridiculous to be believed and daisy didn't like the uneasy looks that passed between the servants as she was escorted back to the party as soon as they left her. Daisy retraced her steps. She climbed higher and higher passing the room. She'd been in earlier. There was some above her. She wasn't imagining it. She found the dimly lit hallway easily. Enough it was lined with doors. She opened each in turn all empty servants quarters. She reached the end of the hall finding a small door. Almost I hidden in the shadows of the heck she grip the handle but it wouldn't budge an unearthly scream ward from behind the door.
