"Even monkeys groom themselves as just called, grooming. Now, if you don't like the social norms, that's fine. But don't try to make this into a movement because you for some reason are empowered because you have hairy armpits. You can do that all you want and you can be the hairy armpit lady. Go for it. Celebrate your spirit the way you want to celebrate your superior it. I lived in a house next to a teepee growing up. I know these people. Okay. I and I'm open minded, and I didn't mind the people in the teepee. I didn't know why they didn't build a house and eventually they did build a house. But I think they used it mainly for storage because they still lived in a teepee, but to each his own whatever. But don't expect me to go whole you. Go girl. Oh, there's nothing better than a big hairy armpit on a beautiful woman a black. Cocktail dress a string of pearls and Harry armpits. You had me at Harry arm the class right there. I will say it's so typical of you. A shining example of toxic masculinity. Yes, who advocate for something named after the male side of marriage? The groom you right here on the air has shown once again patriarchal tendencies. That's not the same word, grooming. It'd turn us all into men because men are the only a pro gender by Gossage just said did in America. Just hear what he said. He just said, grooming. It's just like you you pedophiliac. We get to that talk about grooming and two in courage, grooming of young people into your sexual desires. You are cursing. I was criticizing encouraging. They want nothing to do with you and your your lifestyle. 'cause I I'm going to say it, I think grooming children for your sexual desire. Is wrongs. Do I'm gonna I'm gonna say it. I'm going to have the guts to say it. You wanna play you wanna play? We'll do it brother. He should play intersection as a game on the air at some point. Should just who has been violated the most by the horrible society. That's been built by the number one civilization of all time is a good game. That is is a good game. I think we need to play that. I know. Well, we have to come up with it. I well. Yes. How these things happen? On the air. No, somebody Milton Bradley said monopoly. We should sell a game on a monopoly. Let's start playing it right now. But we don't.

"If you don't provide a context of what's going on the fact that choices have to be made because you bought this. You can't also by that. Because we did this this week. We can't also do it next week. We're not doing this this week. So that we can do a big thing in a month or a year from now. So if you're thinking, it's too young to talk to your kids about money, if you're able to talk with your kids. Meaning your fake and talk back to you. And that's like h three right? It's not too early to talk to them about money. Teaching your kids how to count to play with marbles. Do it with pennies show them how pennies you can count one to ten with pennies and by the way when you do turn it into a dime. Never too early. Because if you do fail to talk with your kids about money, your kids will end up playing monopoly. Oh, I love monopoly. We all do so wonderful game teaches a lot of valuable lessons about money teaches you that different assets have different values different incomes, different risks teaches you how to barter teaches you how to negotiate teaches you what it's like to lose. Because losing is how we earn so many of our greatest lessons in life. And that's why I'm very sorry to tell you that. They've now introduced a new version of monopoly. Milton Bradley has now introduced monopoly for millennials..

"Do that. I mean, I do think it's progress. I watched Milton Bradley play for the Mariners rate. Really. We barely talked about that. I mean, I think that, you know, it's it is discouraging on days like Monday to see an organization like the Astros who their front office is peopled with some of the smartest folks in baseball, and they just could not get out of their own way. You know, and issuing this totally bumfuzzles statement regarding soon. So there there is still progress to be made. And I think that moments like that show us how far there is still to go. But the I think you're right that the fact that we're even having the conversation that the league, you know whether they were doing it because they felt a deep sense of moral obligation to the families of their players. Who are, you know, weirdly part of that workplace like they're in twined with a workplace in a way that I just think is is so unusual. I can't my mother's an employment lawyer, and I have described club houses to her and she is just like, how does that work though? So it doesn't surprise strange workplace. And so whether they were doing it out of genuine concern or PR I mean, it matters, but in a sense, it's advancing the conversation and now we get to have these these conversations. We do get to sort of hold t. Teams to account to a certain extent. And I think that the general discourse, you know, they're always gonna be fans who say, will they just don't care. You know, there's nothing you can do about that. That's gonna be a perspective that some people have about sports and I hope they changed their minds, but no league policy is going to address it. But I think that if you, you know, you can look at this as a sign of of progress, and I have some sympathy for baseball. It is very strange that this is falling to an employer basically to legislate, right? Like in theory, the court should be taking care of this. And if you know if SUNA is is found guilty like hopefully he'd be on vailable because he would be suffering the consequences for his actions. But in the absence of of our of our criminal Justice system, being able to deal perfectly with domestic violence, which we know it doesn't. I think that it is a sign of progress and understanding that you know that their fan base is going to if the game is going to thrive. More diverse and that the people who are watching games are going to have a greater familiarity. Unfortunately, with incidents like this because they may have, you know, suffered them themselves or, you know, I, I suppose it's always been true that it may have been something that they've experienced in their family system. So I think that you know, forcing those conversations and then making sure that we're listening as much as possible to people who have either experienced with unfortunately themselves or have expertise in how best to help organizations navigate this stuff and figure out a way to do it. That's, you know, sort of even-handed, but also serious is is really encouraging because I think you're right like this would have bothered people for years ago, ten years ago, but I don't know that the mainstream baseball discourse would have focussed around it even for as long as it has a couple of years ago. My fiancee works at a college. She'll talk every so often about how weird it backwards. It is that the college will often have to investigate cases of sexual assault. So it's similar. Just on a grander scale here, I do have two questions, and I guess I'll actually ask them one at a time high to know how to over let my questions, but for the first of them, then it's it's beyond obvious how the Astra's screwed up here they didn't have to. This was completely unnecessary in every single way they didn't have to do this. We need to go over that. How do you how the Blue Jays behaved. In this case, they send some mixed messages along where they said after the fact of really easy to say..

"It's an ugly situation on top of the hater tweets that we've talked about and the subsequent shun nukem and trade. Turner, tweets, very bad stories for baseball. This is just piling on top of that, so I don't understand why they felt they needed to make this move and it it kind of Kesse Paul for their season to a certain extent. As I've seen people just link. This is all bad publicity for baseball with the tweets on the Astros making this trade. But of course, I don't need to tell any of you. The difference between firing offensive, tweets, windier, eighteen and share a woman when you're a grown human with. Again, we'd note none of the tales of sooner has been found neither guilty nor not guilty, but we do know that major league baseball investigated as much as it could and saw rate reason to issue. The second longest mention at the time under its domestic violence policy short only. I think Hector Oliveira had a longer suspension, but was it. I think the probability is that something very bad happened that what gives me causes me tripled here is that the Astros are right in their calculation that this. This will blow over because that's just how these things work note. No, no fan base. No group has ever protested teams decision for so long. The team like dropped a player where I dunno folded or something like the Astros aren't going to fold because some number of people who pay close attention to baseball are upset for for them sacrificing the moral integrity here, and I know that it also you don't shouldn't go into professional sports looking to moralize about the business decisions teams make anyway because I mean at the heart, almost all these teams are vacant like these are Solis businesses just trying to win games. You couldn't make money criticize the Bluejays for hanging onto a suit as trade chip is that it letting him go. I mean, it's not as if this is a move that no other team would make. We've seen other teams make this move, which doesn't let the Astros off the hook, but it kind of just puts everyone else on the hook. Absolutely. I remembered. I remember years when I was younger when the Mariners traded for Milton Bradley. I had a different outlook on that. Now. I was. I had not fully developed as a person yet, and I just wasn't. So I wasn't decently versed in these conversations, but I thought, oh, look at the mayor's finding, maybe a misunderstood player who could be good for them and getting in on the cheap. And I, I'm not gonna say that I regret the way that I somewhat supported the Milton Bradley exhibition and because I didn't know enough, but there is an element here of some. Some fans just haven't had to think about these things very much. And as writers you and I have to think about these things and some detail, and I don't know what to do from here like you could say. And I don't think that you'd be wrong to say, okay, the Blue Jays should have cut rigorous Oona as soon as he was suspended, or you could say, maybe the blue dish in of cut, assume if he were found guilty or something day in court in that had happened yet, I don't know. But for the Astros to just go get him while he's the spended I don't know how to affect any change in. I don't know if there is enough if there are enough people who would want change. I don't even know what it would. What that change would look like. All I know is that this particular trade sucked. It sucked ac- it's suck. Desi Luna, tried to defend it. He would have been better off saying nothing at all because he just made himself look like an ass rate the way that he was like, like we did our Jila dense, and we talked to Roberto, and you know, I got a sense of where headset or whatever. I mean, what could you possibly have said, you know, unless he protested his innocence and Lou believed him or something, which seems somewhat naive unless there's something say, no, that we don't know..
