Our Military Has Gone Woke

"Going back to this story real quick about the navy removing the far left books from the reading list, it shows you just how political these people have become. You know why they removed that the books, yeah, they got some pushback. They got a little backlash, but let's face it, we got a Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and Millie in there. They like wokeness, right? So they're not worried about this. But what's coming up are the November elections. That's what's coming up. The midterms. So our military has gone woke. So they're giving these guys now, listen, they're recommending books, but I know a person that, let's just say that in the navy, and he was, he had a prestigious position, let's say, and then in the navy. And this person one time I was having a conversation with this person. And this person was still reading some of the books on the recommended list. And this person was reading last year's list and came to me and wondering if they were racist. This person happens to be white. And this person was just like, I just want to make sure. I just want to make sure that I'm not. And I turned to this person. I said, you're reading this crap. Read the Bible instead, but if you're sitting here asking me a black dude, yes, tall, dark and handsome, no doubt about it. But asking this black dude, I just want to make sure I'm not racist. If your heart is saying that, that's a clear indication you're not racist. So I hate what these people are doing to our sailors.

"Very, very quickly. We just have to work closing titles, but before we do that, can I just say, it's been a real privilege to talk to you. I feel like you're so full of life and ideas and form momentum and I can really see why you're having the career you're having because you just I would buy things from you. Like if you came in and pitched to me like a movie, I'd be like, yes, a 100% I'll raise the money. And I have no money. I would have to find it afterwards because I promised. So I just want to say, I really appreciate you coming on. I just think you're an extraordinary young woman and I'm just so excited to see what you do next. And I will be your femur Gorgon anytime. Absolutely. Really quickly, not going to keep you guys. Thank you so much for coming here. Millie, like honestly, you're so game and you're so cool and it's been such a pleasure, honestly, watching you grow up for the very short corner of time that I've been able to see it, your excellent, your exquisite, your wonderful thank you for coming and embracing the goalie feminist. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for coming here. And I do think you're influence will bring a lot of young women who've never heard of feminism and young people of minority genders and young cis men. I think you're going to bring a lot of attention to something that is it's the stuff of life. It's the stuff of justice. It's the stuff of self ownership self esteem, a quality connection, conversation, and that's what we need. So I really appreciate what you're doing. And I think it's magnificent. Thank you so much for being here. I'm going to sob in my pillage, and I that's what we want all our guests to go home crying. So before I do the closing titles, I just want to say a big thanks to king's place. I'm so sorry run over. I don't have a good sense of time due to ADHD, so you can't say it's my fault. "Read this. And I loved the fact that speaking of the iconic duo that is Susan McCormick Helen Broncos. I love that that sentence exists. It's such a kind of joke. But that Helen Carter played the suffragette suffragette in the film summer for jerk. Yeah. Isn't that incredible? Yeah, it's amazing. And it's like, I kind of just don't speak around her, you know? It's like she walks on on set with her Diet Coke. Always a Diet Coke. Always a Diet Coke, Diet Coke or tea. And you just kind of watch her slowly. And if she picks you apart, it's like incredible. And it's really funny and humorous. And once she had a sour, it was like this really sour piece of candy. Yeah. Oh, oh no, yes. Put it in her mouth, and she was like, oh my God, it's so sour. Check it out, put it in my mouth. And I was like, wow. Oh my God, it's so sour. I was like, oh my God, it's so salad, eBay. You know? Everything. So yeah, I hope that was pre COVID. It was preparing for prepayments. And anyways, yeah. She's just a lot of amazingness. She just makes the set everything. And yeah, she makes it. And having her on board was like a dream come true. My older sister page is so heavily into Harry Potter. And she couldn't breathe. I haven't actually watched Harry Potter. I'm not surprised, you know, because you're just, you were 12 calling the shot. Scabs, Harry Potter. That was all I had. But you're too busy. No, but I met my boyfriend and he was like, you haven't seen Harry Potter, and I was like, no, he was like, this is happening. And I was like, okay, he's like Chinese Harry Potter sofa now, and we watched it. Oh, do you have now? Yes. You know, that's why we have years. I was only interested when I was in a game on. I was like, oh my God. Oh, she's incredible. Because she's like, she's just trying to fix in her eyes for a moment, you know? But I liked it. It was very, very good, and it was a very good thing. Listen, we love that, girl, I'm not tired. I'm not tired, territory anymore. So we're all good, but it was of its time. And I just feel the thing that I love about known homes is that it was such a something that you can get so swept away with, but then it had all the really important elements of feminism. It was really, really clever. And it's wonderful to be a part of. And I remember when it came out in what was it September 2020, the year we were just at home, it was just at home like, we'll get some film, I guess. And actually, I was doing, I was doing a voice-over, a cartoon for Netflix with Helena. So it was my first job sort of we were like behind screens, but it was weird voices on set. Yes, yes, we were. And why are they talking without me? Not being cats. And I remember being in the foyer of the studio. It was empty like Soho was just dead, no one there. And she went, oh, I've just got the post of through for a night at home. So it's all lovely. She just looked at me. She's like, don't you want to see it? I was like, I guess so. And I didn't, I didn't expect to be on the poster. So it was such like a real moment for me where I went, oh. There's my big head. And I was like, you don't have a big care. I was like, had an I've got a spherical head mate. Don't worry about it it's fine. And it was just such a lovely moment. All my Friends kids were just obsessed with Enola. And it's so lovely to be, I don't think I've ever been a part of something like that. I was just really cool. That was really iconic. And as you say, there were no red carpet moments because we were all trapped in the house. Yeah. So it's really lovely that, for another homes too, you are going to be able to be out on that red carpet. I know. Spreading the spreading the word of Enola Ho too. But in another way, Enola won what was great about it because it was in lockdown, everyone watched it. Well, in order to be on the cinema screens. No, it will be on Netflix. It'll be on Netflix. Where you found it first, yeah. Okay, where I found it. Look where you found it. Where did you leave at Deborah? Where did you leave it? Retrace your steps. Every day to me. Yeah. It will be in the same place and we are really, really excited. Obviously, we finished filming. And yeah, it's going to be, it's going to be definitely better than the first. Because I think it's definitely a lot more adventurous and exciting. And known as growing up, big time. And in that time period, it's actually quite interesting. It's like 18, you'll get married. Yes. Scary. Really scary. You imagine, debs, boy, can you imagine getting married at 18? I really can't. The decision that I made at 80. I hope we were past scabs. Barely. Why couldn't it all have discussing sorry? No, go can you imagine, go marry someone, I'll be like, no, I know. But people did. It was just completely normal to marry someone and then be just, you just had to stay with them for the rest of their life. No matter what you felt. On the upside people didn't live as long. So like now, if you married someone, you know, time's ticking. God is still here. I can't wait to see the new one. And I know we're not technically meant to be talking about the new one. This is not proven for another two, by the way. We just can't stop ourselves because we're so excited. We will come back and do if Millie is up for it. We come back and do it. Coming back. For number two. We've got to have an interval soon. Yes. Can I ask before we go? Do you have any other feminist parts? Yes. Excellent. I was like on set, yesterday and I was like, guys, I need to think of one. And I've only ever heard you guys say it. But then I thought, you know what? It came up quite handy. So I'm a feminist, but when I'm on my period, I want a day off. I think that's absolutely fair. I think that is reasonable responsible and also the age old thing that we all say if men had periods, they would have all that time off. So it just makes sense. That periods they wouldn't have periods, because they would have cured it. That's true. That's true. If cisgendered men had periods, it would be news. It would be good. There'd be a thing that you could take or Apache that you could have or something where you'd still ovulate, but also you would not. We certainly wouldn't have the pain anyway. And I feel like that would be gone. That would be a thing of the past. That was optional. They'll be like, do you fancy at this month and there'll be an app, you'll be like, uh, go in. Just to feel something. And then the other one will be like, oh no, I'm too busy running a country, no time to pay. If you can't. Trust me, I'm the funniest person that's ever lived to me. And you didn't see all these members of this and you didn't see what I was doing with my hands. It was crazy. Moving on. All right, so we're going to have an interval and in that time we're going to try and figure out how to stop both hemorrhaging and cramps. And if we come up with a cure, we'll let you know. It is now time for you to go to interval and before you do that, a big round of applause for Susan came up. And the big round of applause for many Bobby Brown. See y'all, please vote..

"And tonight, we are interviewing Millie Bobby Brown. Oh, look at you guys. Look at this join. It is full. This is lovely. Hi, everyone. And thanks for coming. This is great. Isn't it lovely? It's really nice. It always feels like a homecoming when you come home to the girls feminist studio came out. It does. It really does. This is like, this is my safe space. This is my, I love coming here. I love coming here because I can say anything I want. And nobody says what I say on the Internet, then we edit it and then I sound really clever and smart and that's the point. You've got it. You've got the whole spill. You got it? You got it. Because I say things. I'd say things. And also like I've got the live show brain and then I've got the podcast brain. So I'm going to give you some gems that no one else will hear, but you've got to keep it to yourself. Susie is quite indiscreet and I love it. This is one reason why we book her. She'll just be like, do you know what? Fuck it, I'm going to tell you. Which is always always enjoyable. Always a joy. No, I'm absolutely delighted to be here with you tonight, Susie, and I'm so excited about your guest and being able to our guest and being able to talk with her somewhat about the older early homes as well. Because in nola homes, you taught her suffragettes who, is that correct? I did. Someone would say some would say that all I did was do as I was told and acting, but let's go and say that I taught her jiu-jitsu, which was great. Which is great. I know what I'm doing. That was quite scary because many at the time I think was 5th D, I think. And I was having to throw her onto the ground, like a child. Like I was an adult and I was like, you've got to live the life. You've got a big tough. And I was like, are you okay? I was very stressed. Yeah, I can understand that. I would not want to break Millie Bobby Brown. Yeah, an effectively my boss as well. She's a badass producer as well. So I was like, yeah. And then it'll cut and I'll be like, please, can I keep my job? I'm in it. That is a complicated relationship, isn't it? Very hard. Yeah, absolutely. Well, it was a fantastic show. And I'm sure we'll be talking about it tonight. We will be. Do you ever do a small act of feminism for which you packed yourself on the back? Deb's my entire life is a tiny, small act of feminism. The fact I just turn up places. I'm like, well, I'm here. That should be enough for the cause. Bare minimum, bare minimum, Susie. That's what they call me. It's so cool. It's so not true. But I do think sometimes your presence is easy. This is not an act of feminism. It's a trick. That's a lie. I'll turn up a places and I'll be like, I'm here and everyone be like she's here and I'm like, I don't know why I'm doing my daughter. They're like feminism. I just go feminism. And it seems to be fair. That's what our prime minister does. Yes. To be strict. Hey, just turns off but it's like, I've arrived, isn't that enough? Yeah. And then people start asking questions and he doesn't answer any of them. He just says the same thing over and over again. So like partridge party gate, he kept being asked by everyone. Even people on his team, I know it's not called a team. But would be like, you know, at p.m. kids, they'd be like, but surely surely if you knew that these parties were taking place, which you said that you didn't, and so on. And he'd just go, I think we just need to wait for the report. And they'd be like, but were you there or not? I think I won't know till I read it in the report. But it would literally talk about yesterday morning. Did you have a bottle of champagne at number ten? I'll check the report when it comes out and I'll let you know, are you standing in front of us now, prime minister? I'll have to see what Sue grey says in her report. She will let us know if I'm talking now or not. That was absolutely amazing. And so may feel. I feel sometimes when guys like that do that, they don't lose any sleep. Yeah. That's very much the vibe I get from Johnson. I don't think he's had one sleepless night. No. Unless it was making another in a series of babies. Just randomly makes babies all the time. I mean, we have guys. Listen, if you, if you sleep, we have to stop sleeping with Tories. We have to stop life. Just cut off the supply. As a gender, we need to stop sleeping with tourists, as I was saying. Does anyone anyone just always check and just, I don't know, I mean, we have to stop. I think you check if there are Tory. It's not like a cat where you go, boy or girl, like you can't, I don't know, I think we just need to start checking. We just need to go turn around. Show me the back of your neck. Is the barcode there? And then if it's not, then I think they're registering. You can find out. That'll be on the record. Yeah, I guess. They do seem to have super strong sperm, because there's a lot of them who have a lot of babies that they do, though. Every single time Boris Johnson, I think there's some teenagers in the audience tonight. There might be some younger people. This is it. This is what it is. By the way, just letting there be some Millie Bobby Brown fans who have not necessarily listened to the show. I'm very aware of that guy. So yeah, we should put that in. That's the tone. That's the tone. That tone will continue. Are you enjoying it so far? That's good. They're enjoying it so far. If we've said anything that you're not sure about, then.

Rep. Michael Waltz on This Week's Blistering Hearing on Capitol Hill

"Right, let's cut to the chase earlier this week. Congressman waltz, there was a blessing. I mean, just an embarrassing, truly embarrassing, a hearing on Capitol Hill. We had Matt Gaetz on the show yesterday. Talk to us about the state of the military, the state of the budget. And how a former four star general who's now the Secretary of Defense, I can't imagine I can't remember if this has ever happened before in the history of the Congress. Questions, the patriotism of one of your colleagues in Congress during a testimony? It's shocking. That's what Lloyd Austin did to Matt. Yeah. No, absolutely. I was there. And it's amazing to see some of these appointees. Lose sight of the fact that they're not elected. The American people are our bosses. And they don't put their names on the ballot. We do. And in the House of Representatives, we do it every other year, because that's how the founding fathers intended. We're the people's house. And so that was completely out of line. And the thing that Matt was questioning is you're so focused and I'll tell you about my follow one question in a minute. You're so focused on this woke ism and diversity and equity training and all of that social engineering garbage that you missed the capabilities of the Afghan army as it collapsed. You missed the capability of the Ukrainians when you predicted that Kyiv would fall in 72 hours. For those who misspoke, you said 36 days. What Millie, the chairman of the joint chiefs, the most senior military officer in the world. Said to president Biden, is that Kyiv is going to fall in 36 hours. And there was no apologies. There's no mayor culpa. He tried to actually argue that no, no, no, we got it right.

'War by Other Means' Author General Keith Kellogg on the Politicization of the Military

"Okay, this is exciting. There's a brand new book out. It's called war by other means. It is by a general who was in the Trump White House Keith Kellogg. He was former national security adviser to president Trump. We know that well, the book purports to reveal the politics at play within our highest ranking military leadership and how caving to the leftist agenda and cultural pressure by those in the top ranks of America's military has left America, more vulnerable to national security threats than ever. Unfortunately, I don't need any convincing on that score. But it is a real pleasure. To have a general Keith Kellogg on the program to tour to talk about his new book war by other means general welcome to this program. Thank you. Thanks for having me today. Well, let's jump right into it. What you say, unfortunately, is something that seems to be pretty clear to those who are paying attention to what's going on. How is it possible that this could happen? You always think that there are firewalls put up by the founders in the constitution so that this kind of thing can not happen. In the military is supposed to be the military. They're not supposed to be about transgender policies or about white nationalist threats. What in the world enabled this kind of thing to happen? Because when I think of a general, whether it's general Mattis or Millie, it's hard for me to process that they have to cut to the chase gone over to the dark side that something has happened in their careers or at some point to allow them to be used by the I will call it the anti American left, at least that's how I see it. What do you suppose has happened that this was made possible. Yeah, it's sanctuary. I think it's a great question. I think the military the senior levels have become really politicized. And I think part of that very honestly was because of 20 years of war and Afghanistan. And that's one of the reasons by the way I wanted to get out of Africa with the president as well. Because the military became too politically aligned going forward and they saw where the money was coming from and the philosophers they had behind it. And they had reached a point with Mark milley where you see him today. And very candidly, Mark and I have known each other for 25 years. But he has put himself in a position and the way he's talking right now that you never saw general Meyer, a former chairman, general Meyer, Pete pace, Hugh Shelton, Colin Powell. Joe Dunford, none of them spoke the way he speaks now. And he's become very, very politicized on his approach to the military. And I think it's a huge mistake. I think a mistake for the military. And I reminded a lot of people, people forgot what article two section two of the constitution talks about. And there's one unitary commander chief and he's elected commander in

'You Will Be Assimilated' Author David Goldman on China's Contempt for the U.S.

"China is not an enemy. And I think that's important for people to clearly understand. China is a rising power, China has been a rising power since Deng Xiaoping in 79. And they are going to develop themselves in our developing themselves into a great power. That is not to say, however, that they are an enemy. They're not an enemy. They're just a great power. That's according to the chairman of the joint chiefs when he was speaking in his private capacity as chief of staff of the army. The NATO summit, maybe that explains a lot about Mark Billy. We'll discuss the realities of what China thinks they are to us and how they're eating our lunch with the man that we always rely upon to tell us about the geo strategic reality in Asia and in Beijing. He's the author of a fabulous work you must check out right now. It's you will be assimilated. China's plan to Sino form the world. David Goldman. Welcome to one on one. A sub gorka it is an honor and privilege to spend fine with you, sir. Thanks for the invitation. I just realized I'm looking at the cover of your book that the Chinese dragon has a pair of iPhone ear pods in. That's a very nice little touch there. I missed in the past. David, we'll talk about Millie. We'll talk about the truth of China Beijing. Xi Jinping and everything else. But first, I have to ask you. The imagery of these super cargo ships off the port of LA, the president of the United States saying, oh, no, don't worry about it. And then Jen Psaki saying, oh, that's a high class issue. People having the Christmas present. So that's, you know, the pipes don't worry about that. Let me ask you, let's think like the Chinese Communist Party for a moment. What does China think of the fact that America can't unload its cargo ships? The Chinese have contempt for us. They think they can take us. We just published an a four times an excerpt from a book by Chinese economist used to be the chief economist of the World Bank Chicago university PhD. Who says, look at history. Look at the United States versus England at the end of the 19th century. The English were lazy complacent and the United States come from behind, took them out and ate their lunch. That's exactly what we're going to do to the United States now. We've got the people. We've got the supply chains. We've got the technology. We've got the will to do it. Beyond Impeachable: Joe Biden Caught in a Lie About Afghanistan

"Taught give military advisers. Not tell you know we should just keep twenty five hundred troops. It's been stable situation for the last several years we can do that. We can continue to do that. No no one said to me that i can recall. Nobody's said that to me. That i can recall the classic. Dc dodge This is general milley just today cut twelve. Probably it's your testimony that you recommended. Twenty five hundred troops. Approximately stay in afghanistan as i've said many times before this committee and other committees. I don't share my personal recommendation to the president. But i can tell you my personal opinion and my assessment. If that's what you want yes place yes. My assessment was back in the fall of twenty and it remained consistent throughout We should keep a steady state of twenty five hundred and it could bounce up to thirty five hundred. Maybe something like that in order to move toward negotiated gated solution. So who's lying is it. Marxist senile biden. Let's ask the man who is at the pinnacle of the most influential conservative website. Breitbart dot com book market today. None other than alex marlowe addicts. Welcome back to america first dr. Gee i don't know how to think this intro because you've already opened with the crucial moment of hours and hours of testimony today. I and you got it. So i don't even know what i'm here for anymore. Although the whole media is coached up the conservative media gets it. You cut right to this. There's been so many bombshells already But busted by stephanopoulos saying no one recommended keeping troops and then millie who is defended biden. for months and months saying flat out everyone recommended keeping troops. So it's pretty clear to be biden's lying in this is beyond

"We have general Mark milley at the hearing today and scrutinize yet again by senator Tom cotton Cut a go General milley Joe Biden has said that it was the unanimous the unanimous recommendation of the joint chiefs that we not maintain a military presence beyond August 31st We've heard testimony of that effect today as well When was that unanimous recommendation sought and presented to the president You turn out the 31 August the 31 August 25 August I was asked to make an assessment and provide best military advice on I'm sorry my time is limited here You gave me the answer to that and needed here August 25th Correct Cobble fell in August 15th That's correct You were not asked before August 2016 On August 25th I was asked to provide best military assessment as whether we should keep military forces past the 31st Secretary Austin was anybody asked before August 25th if we should keep troops at the cobble airport This is the president tasked us to provide an assessment on whether or not we should extend our presence beyond August 31st And as general Millie just said that assessment was made we tossed him to make that assessment on the 25th And he came back and provided his best military advice Secretary Cobble fell on August 15th It was clear that we had thousands of America It was clear to members of this committee were getting phone calls that we had thousands of Americans in Afghanistan behind Taliban lines on August 15th and took ten days to ask these general officers If we should extend our president I suspect the answer might be a little different if you're asking them 16 days out not 5 days out Some believable

"If Donald Trump is a commander in chief wants to send mixed signals I'm not suggesting he was doing this at all by the way folks I'm just saying If Donald Trump wanted to send intentional mixed signals to the Chinese government to keep their military guessing for some reason he saw fit That's his job to do He's the commander in chief You may not like it then you vote him out the next time That's not the way any of this works The joint chiefs chairman milley is not there to run interference for the president of the United States and China That's not his job And again talking about well listen we do these calls all the time as if this is just some pro forma thing You may do these calls all the time The idea that he made the call is not the controversial part The controversial part is the clearly the content of the call Do you understand it is not the joint chiefs chairman It's not his job to engage in military making decisions and try to decipher what the president of the United States says If he had a question about president Donald J Trump at the times intentions he should have just asked and had president Trump clear it up That's his job as the commander in chief And why there would be mixed signals I think Millie's making that up

"I want you to listen to this This is general Millie with the joint chief chairman again With one of the worst word salads I've ever seen in my life trying to explain away why he took it upon himself to call the Chinese Communist Party one of the military leaders over there and tell them that he would warn them about a potential nuclear strike This is clearly bordering on the lines of treason and yet merely explains it away by saying don't worry about it man This is critical to the security of the United States What A coup A military coup He's not the commander of chief I command their chief folks Mark melly He is nowhere in the decision making chain to decide to launch a new nuclear strike Is everybody understand that He just took this power upon himself And president Trump and the acting secretary at the time Miller have Trump's acting secretary I've already disputed Millie's account Here's Millie trying to explain this thing away Pretending like he was the calm study hand This guy sounds to me like he's trying to write his own autobiography right now and trying to sell advance copies Check this out With respect to the Chinese calls I routinely communicated with my counterpart general Lee with the knowledge and coordination of civilian oversight I am specifically directed to communicate with the Chinese by Department of Defense guidance The policy dialog system These military to military communications at the highest level are critical to the security of the United States in order to deconflict military actions manage crisis and present prevent war between great powers that are armed with the world's most deadliest weapons The calls on 30 October and 8 January were coordinated before and after with secretary Esper and acting secretary Miller staffs and the inter agency The specific purpose of the October and January calls were generated by concerning intelligence which caused us to believe the Chinese were worried about an attack on them by the United States I know I am certain that president Trump did not intend to attack the Chinese and it was my directed responsibility by the secretary to convey that intent to the Chinese

I'm not alone in the and i think you'll french agree. Does tend to nari dom more and more as she got older. I think that i she became so much closer to my other friends because i do things. Yeah like go into wool could go to is cinema. Hackley sleepover like do really nice dinners or something like uber. Like face to face to king and the no more connected rather than to about the night you going out with the food. You feed on the even. The people drifted away. It really strengthens my other friendships. It should really. I spoke to a few people for the book about air. And some people said exactly the same as you did that. They kind of realize that alcove is the glue that was holding their friendship together. When you take that away you realize that you don't really have that much in common with the low of people but like you said it narrows down in your fridge. It's become stronger and that is why found. Is that those friendships. I do have those people who have supported me like the friendships. Have i knew got stronger. Mainly because i think i have been able to friend flake on anyone anymore. "Got a radio show. Here we go today. I think I have something for a lot of people today. At least, I hope I do. And this is about on your journey. And this is about something that happens to us all. I mean, what happens? All of us from time to time when we get discouraged. What happens to all of us when we feel like quitting. What happens to all of us when we have that turned back moment. What happens to all of us when it don't seem like it's gonna pan out. Because I want you to understand something that everyone every single living soul has those thoughts about something at some point in their life. I mean, you know, Look, I've often times been discouraged about things not happening as fast as I like him. All things don't pan out the way I would like for them to have panned out. I mean, it's so many ways to get discouraged. But but what? My encouragement to you is when discouragement comes Is understand this. It is a part of the growth process. It is a test. It is a test of your faith. How bad you want it. Do you really believe? That's that's all faith is is simply and I've said this. How many times Faith is to believe in things that you cannot see. So when discouragement comes, setbacks comes it is a test off your faith, at least has been that way for me now. Other people can explain it another way. I'm not other people. I could only give it to you. The way has come to me and throughout my life. And man Oh, man, Oh, man discouragement. Sometimes it's tough to deal with. Because it seems at times when you were discouraged that it's so absolute. That this means the end And if you allow it to set in It could be just that the end of you when Millie Millie, it was a test. That's all it is. But the majority of people that I know who are not successful. Who have told me the story of how they gave up. It was was because at a moment of discouragement That they allowed it to set in. And it became so in engulfing that it became the reason why you shouldn't finish. And then they started justifying it would hit the one that I hate to hear. Well, if it if it's God's will excuse me. If it's God's will that you fail. If it's God's will that you not successful. If it's God's will that you lay down and give up. It's God's will that you allow yourself to a mountain not to not reach your pit potential. That's God's will. That's not the God I know. That's not the God I serve. That's not the God I've read about. That's not the God, I believe it. I'm sorry. I just My mother always taught me something that he didn't bring me this father. Leave me. I just don't believe That not for a second. Now have I convinced myself or something's? Yep. Have I allowed the devil to come into the pitch in paint a different one for me? Yep. Yep. I've done all of that. But you can't blame that on God. Now, come on. So When would discouragement comes? Try to look at it if you can as a test of your faith. And you merely have to pass the test. It could be four day half a day, a few hours a week. A few weeks it don't matter. Don't nobody know how long the test period is. Your job is to keep the faith and keep moving. Keep the faith and keep moving. Keep working. Keep believing. Keep hope alive. That's your job. If you do that, That's how you passed the test. It could be over tomorrow. You could be over in two weeks. It could be over in a month. You don't know? But all you got to do is wake up and keep the faith and fight the discouraging feelings. And how do you do that? Steve? Now, here we go. This is the part I know about for sure. Because how many times I've had to fight off discouragement? In order to get to where God wanted me to be. What do you do when you become discouraged? Well. Think of the outcome. When I get discouraged about a task, I think about the outcome, man. What would it be like? If I were to complete the task? What would it be like? Man? What was the outcome? Be for me if I hung loan in there if I didn't give up If I if I if I imagine I imagine if I don't quit, I imagine if I don't give up what would it be like? Man. Suppose everything I'm hoping for comes true. But if I don't quit and give up, that might just be the case. I start talking to myself like that. I think of what the upside is. What's the upside to stay in with it? You see all this is the same thing. I'm just giving you different ways to look at it. I'm saying the exact same thing over and over, But I'm just trying to find the switch that connects in your mind where you can say OK, man, I'm gonna hang in there. Because if you think of the outcome, and now come is appealing to you, if you imagine what it would be like, if you don't give up or you don't quit, if you if you think on Lee off what the upside is to stay in with it. And then I go. Where can this lead to? If I stay with it, man, and the outcome comes true. What else could that lead me to? Because I mean, there's always more to it. So where else could just lead me to? What are the possibilities, man? What are the limitless possibilities? What could God possibly have in store for me if I just hang in there if I passed this test of faith If I just passed this test, then ain't gonna be the only one. But you got to get past this one. No. Then you go here to smooth plain Then it's gonna be another one. It's gonna be another one. Life ain't nothing but a serious of test man. And when you thinking about giving up when you discourage think of the outcome. Imagine what it would be like, if you don't quit If you don't give up..

"Modern Millie, and it's actually the album is called jazz, baby. But she also did a number called jazz baby. I think from the same musical you can hear in that that quirky nature to her voice. That was part of what made Carol Channing, Carol Channing. Right. Like, she was easy. Like people likes to imitate her style of singing because it was so everybody has Channing growing up. Yeah. Everybody's sort of knew the Carol Channing voice. Yeah. And you know, what's so interesting about that is, you know today. I don't know that Carol Channing would have the same kind of career that she had starting when she started. And was able to span it over so many decades playing, you know, amazing character roles I'd seen and I was looking for the quote, and I can't find it exactly. So many paraphrase it I had seen in one of the stories about her this morning story about her going to the theater for the first time, and she was taken to the theater by her mother for the first time to see. A show, and she talked about it as being a transformative experience where she was watching people on the stage, create art in front of our very eyes. And that that moved her in such a way that she she actually said the words I wanted to kiss the floorboards of the stage. Because she was so moved by what she was witnessing. And she said that the thing about being on stage is when you're on stage, all of your personal anxiety washes away, all of that that you're negative inner voice washes away. And she said, you know, everybody has a place mine was center stage, and it was such a beautiful way of explaining how truly she felt she belonged in that role. What she did whatever she whatever role she was playing. But she knew that that was what her calling was in life was to be on the stage. Absolutely. Just a couple of other things. Holly, you came up with this little tidbit..
