This Meeting is Being Recorded
"Welcome back everybody thank you for tuning in. Again we've taken a couple weeks off in having recorded. WE'RE GONNA. Get. A little punk nibbles going here for you You know one of our short episodes GonNa be s a little bit. Talk about what's going on and we're going to kick this off with what are you listening? Sorry what are you listening to as an aspiring teacher? I should probably know how to speak correctly. Right So this is Aaron and I'm going to pass over to Mike and say Mike. What you've been listening to lately. Yeah Hey guys what's up? How you guys doing Pretty well, he did ask you a question, but I'm okay with just not answering just ignore the question they ignore the question completely and just see where this takes us. Yeah as someone who wants to be a teacher I should get used to that sort of thing. Yes. I'm just going to say Mike has been listening to Miley Ray Jepson. Because he really likes the way she sings and the fact that she uses words. Mouth Worm. So now we'll kick it over to. Jesse. Jesse what have you been listening to? Yeah. Have you heard of? Mandy Moore. But seriously. We actually have some news about the podcast, not not just what we've been listening to but. We recently joined. A network of podcasts called Pantheon podcasts were like pretty excited to be a part of this group. Pantheon podcasts is a conglomeration of sorts of that have been assembled of many different podcast specifically with the theme of Music, and there's tons of different podcasts that are on this network and we encourage you guys to A. Check out some of those folks that are on the. On the network with us there's quite a few shows on their own. We joined up with them recently and I've started familiarize myself with. A few of the podcasts on there there's a few that like I definitely listen to myself indefinitely enjoy Have you checked out any of those from Pantheon Mike Yeah Yeah I've been listening to some. It's pretty cool. So, what some of our listeners might see is our show will will show up in the Pantheon feet as well, and we kind of encourage you to Not only subscribe to our show so that you get new episodes as it comes out but also if you go the beyond. If you search pantheon on your podcast amp you'll find their feed, which like they put out a bunch of different episodes of a bunch of different shows and something new is on there every day So no matter what style of music you like there's something there that my interest you there's also some really deep kind of like music history shows on there that are like more investigatory kind of stuff. one I've really been enjoying is the show no filler. And maybe we can connect those guys at some point they seem to like some of the same music that we like. And the shows pretty cool because it takes a look at abandoned like maybe is known maybe he's not quite as known but bands that have had like a single that got out. But it goes back to the album from like singles have come out and digs until like one of those tracks between. And Goes Kinda deep until like some lyrics and and maybe over our story arc of full albums been I've been digging that lately they just had an episode of bit ago they had me without you. which I really like me without you and so the anti poetry and the mix genre of all. Of Digging There's there's quite a few that I've checked out at least a handful of episodes for but I mean there's so many podcasts on the network. You can't really listen to every single thing unless you're just listening at two times speed all day long but a couple that that I've already become a fan of there's one called. Make It stop which is called? The title of the subtitle is a bad music podcast where they specifically talking about music that they think is straight up bad and They've had some episodes around even bands that I don't necessarily hate in fact, the first episode ever heard they just bashed on the band creed. That's a band that I don't hate but it was it was still fun to hear them Bash on the bad music. They also feature some other bands like not future, but they talk about Imagine dragons they hit up Maroon five definitely nickel nickelback in all time an all time worse was that's called. Make It stop check out there? Pretty pretty cool over there, and there's just a few others that I've listened to to although make it stop is the most called a muses. A. Dad Bod, rap pod. Those guys are pretty sweet anyways. So, check out some of the other stuff of their pantheon everybody.

Travel to Comoros
"I'd like to welcome to the show. Fiona Jones from Scotland who's come to talk to us about Comoros? Fewer welcome back to the show. Thanks for having me and I say welcome back to the show. Some of you may realize I. Don't Remember Hearing Theater on the show before. Yes. We had one of those that we have. Every three to four years lost episode whether according didn't work, and so Fiona is coming back to talk. Komo's again so for you. This is new those of you who are listening but for Fiona tonight. This is very familiar, so if you're old hat at this, can you put commerce on a map for us? Says I didn't know where it was. This is one of those things. There's episodes that Fiona pitch me rose that I had to go googling. What are we talking about? Is this country which it is? Yeah it's a country. It's well three or four depending on how you look at it for Collins. It's in the Indian Ocean northwest of Madagascar. The northern part of Mozambique And you say three or four, because there are four islands, but only three of them are Komo's. Yeah the whole country used to be French when they voted for independence, then three of the islands voted to become independent and the fourth island, which is not decided it wanted to stay with France but I. Think the rest of the Comoros is terribly happy. But May stays resolutely French. Excellent, and why should someone go to Komo's? The reason we won was because our daughter. Who's GONNA traveling. We wanted a family holiday and it was over the tail end of the Christmas holidays, so we wanted somewhere hot. We wanted somewhere that would be good diving and we wanted somewhere that maybe a little bit different that that might be a bit of. Of An adventure so for those reasons we, we looked around, and now at actually seen an article by unknown or unexplored islands I think it was on tripadvisor and seen the Comoro and and I was quite entrusted I'd also rashly sets the family that I as a bit of a surprise for them, so I thought well. That will give them a surprise if we to the Comoros. As I'm surprised you don't know who you are. Being hot, so we're right off the coast of Mozambique and Madagascar and not that far from Tanzania another from Zanzibar. Which people have probably heard of and it seems like it's kind of like Zanzibar except with a French flair. Yeah, we bar. Oh, Gosh, by well. It must be about twenty five years ago. There are some similarities birthday. Islands are obviously much smaller probably per than Zanzibar wealth. Wise I know. Zanzibar isn't exactly a rich country, but Comoros is quite far down to kind of GDP league, but in other senses it's Israel serve Indian ocean stuff so white sand beaches very green interiors very heavily forested interiors, so in that sense, I guess top graphically, probably quite similar. Excellent will what kind of area or are you going to recommend for us well well, what we did was to land in Grand Comoro switch. I guess everybody will. Think he can probably catch a from the mainland. I. Think just made way for everybody to come. In is going to be defined to Grande Comoros. We landed there. We had a couple of days there. It to be honest is not an awful lot. See and the island. I think we did what everybody did. which was to get yourself a taxi? Going to run the island is laconic island. An active volcano in the middle so much you can do is drive around the outside of the island i. think was one ruined. That goes across the middle, but otherwise he just sits the perimeter. you see the beaches and such like. So. That's pretty much it and he kind walk-ups civil. No, that wasn't something that we did. The seems to be mixed reports about how you do I know. We talked to a couple of guys who were there and holiday who were going to do that and they've got themselves. Guideline think they were gonNA count and some accounts say that you've gotta take a couple of days in walkout, but I've seen something else, so you can get a car or jeep close to the top, and then just walk up the rest of the day so I'm not quite sure which was correct, but between a to the islands. A chip up the volcano, a suspect that's probably about it for a Grande Comoros so after we'd spend our couple of days of them went to Miley which the island that we were going to be based for the rest of the time

Russia referendum: All you need to know on the vote that could see Putin stay in power until 2036
"Make great backing singer from Miley SARS, but anyway I my name is. Is Keith Walker at to Russia next where polling stations opened on Thursday for voting on a constitutional referendum. It's on whether to less President Vladimir Putin run for re-election twice more and potentially remain in the post for the next sixteen years Dwi's <hes> at correspondent. Emily. Sherwin is on the line from Moscow Emily. I. Tell us a little bit more about the referendum. What's at stake here? Well this referendum is actually more of a vote because it doesn't have the legal status of a referendum, but the vote on amendments it covers really a whole range of measures. It's a big mix, so there's one amendment for example that states that marriage can only be between a man and a woman. Politicians can't have dual citizenship. There's an amendment guaranteeing accessible medical care. Environmental protection is on that <hes> on the bill as well. And there are banners all over Moscow advertising these rather some of these rather populist measures I would say, but one amendment, of course the seen as particularly important, and that is the amendment that will reset the clock on Nevada. Mir Putin's presidential term, so what it means is that he isn't actually abolishing term limits for future politicians, but he is abolishing his term limit, so he can run again in twenty twenty four and that would mean he could be in power. Power for two more terms if he runs again if people vote for him, is this referendum likely to go and Putin's favor? Well, it's a bit of a strange one. Because the constant constitutional amendments have already actually passed in the Duma, so the lawmakers here in Russia have already voted in favor of it <hes> but the president this week as well has emphasized again that it will only pass if people vote for these amendments that these amendments will only pass. Pass if people vote for them, essentially, this vote is seen as kind of almost referendum on Putin himself and trust in the president has been falling for months. It's clear now that the the authorities though will try to make sure that the turnout is high and they're trying to really set the mood. They have been trying to really set the mood ahead of the vote. They've made it really easy to vote. People can even vote in Moscow. They can vote. Vote Online <hes> they've had the victory day parade this week to kind of set a patriotic mood and this week as well <hes> Putin announced some <hes> additional economic support measures for people in the corona virus crisis, but people that I spoke to. I mean admittedly in Moscow which is traditionally kind of more <hes>, more critical of the authorities than the rest of the country, but people were surprisingly negative <hes>. They said you know why vote, it's all been decided. Anyway and the authorities should really spend this

"Welcome back to the big ticket. Twenty seven years old Miley Cyrus has had many lives from child star to rebellious Popstar and we'd aficionado. She's now a sober young woman who may be developing very own talk show. She's also recently returned to acting with a starring role in an episode of Black Mirror as Ashley above gun pop star, who wants nothing more to break free from are controlling manage or her aunt catherine while Cyrus has never had an catherine. She knows a lot about being under the thumb of during her early years as Hannah Montana I caught up with Cyrus from her Los Angeles area home. Hi MILEY CYRUS! You. I'm so happy to see you and your Mullah. I put on a white button down twice in my entire life. Once for this than once when I interviewed Senator Elizabeth wine in the past four months I think I've washed my hair twice once for you and once L. Dot. So these are this is the new way to do things we were talking about how technology in connection being able to really like utilize this stay connected for all of us are world to continue to revolve in and keep going, but it's also really nice, so only get ready from the way. Stop these days. I only steam this part of my. Still kind of From the one. But you I mean you took to this pretty quickly i. mean you just started a talk? Show right away. How did that happen like what what had been wanting to do a talk show and this was just sort of hey. This is a perfect time to do it. Why did not near as many people to talk to? Do part of. My alliance is connecting with so many different people daily. I think that's why I grew up on. A actually did a lot of self exploration realization I. Think is a lot of us kind of had time to do again. We're GONNA. Talk about the parallels of Black Mirror. Universal Waking Up, but there was a feeling is a feeling of waking up and so I kind of realized. From whether it was being a little infant I up on a tour bus of my dad was surrounded by thousands of people. GOING INTO SCHOOL! Like normal, elementary middle school, the Middle School, growing moving to California and being on set, and just filled with people alive audience once a week touring so again just so many entities, and this was the first time that everything really saw, and it was just me. and. You Know I. Think I did feel at first. It was good for me to have that time to kind to realize why I love. Connecting with people and wive chosen the path that I have a lot of it has to do with connecting with people whether it's through rioting, whether film or television, or whatever it is, you know something about being people vs at night and connecting with them I. I haven't really had in the past ten years so so having that again. I think directly communicating with my fans. And this time rather than you know once a week. This was five times a week and he gave me. A, game me that that purpose that I think a lot of us were going up. What do we do with this time? What is our purpose? and. You know a lot of. Value that I find myself is the ability to disconnect equal in talk about again. Some of the issues that are being magnified at this time, not like by no means are any of these issues new just the magnifying last the attention so to be able to do that every day. Connect with my fans and talk about some stuff about the hard things to, and it was just. It meant a lot to meet. Have that connection? So does this mean when we go back to so called normal. We're GONNA. See A MILEY TV show. Talk Show. We'll see you know. I. Really have joined one thing that I loved about it that I think would always be important and I would never WANNA lose is there was really no fresher you know usually when you're when you're doing a TV show, there's again. It's always like the numbers in the viewers and the time, and that's what really like I mean again. It's so parallel to what we're. We'll talk about what Black Mirror. That's not what drives me. I never even like no of the number. Someone told me some number like where the hell did. You would see that I. Like again about that connection, and so I love Jau there was really no pressure and it was like. If the show went over rate the show technology. Really, it was just about doing it for the love of it. Right below you have a TV show. When you're alone, do you? Do you relish those times now? Because of your life has been so full of just people pulling you in all different directions. Do you ever just sit whether it's in your studio? Your living room and just go I'm by myself now. I need to breathe. You know I've been trying to spend. You know that that time and take advantage of that time, but also. I guess within the last couple of weeks in last month. It felt like again. I kinda had a duty to use my platform to amplify. The, voices of the black lives, matter movement and being able to actually join safely. Some of the protests here in La and I think it's just been really you know it's been a time that. Has. been for all of us to stop, but it's also been a time where we have to go, and the attention and the awareness is here. And the time is now and to be active so I. Think I've tried to have that balance right now. I've been reading. A book called the intelligent leader. It's talking a lot about like your values that I think something that can get lost in the Gogo is our values, which are. Why do we do what we do not on a level of just do what we do whether. It's for our career by. Why do we take the way we are? Like, why are? This way, and so I've been going to the beginning. Going to me being a small trial and all the way up until now and going okay, this is what I am. This is the mosaic that makes this full picture. What I've become but again. Yes, it's time right now. I guess that we've been able to have these last few months or self reflection would now it's about it's about going I think. There's a lot of responsibility that we all have to see justice for everyone end to use our platforms in the way that can really create the change. We Wanna see especially with such an import election coming up. And we're seeing the music industry. Every day we're hearing different changes. Lady Antebellum just today getting rid of Antebellum, and they're just going to be lady. A on the is getting rid of the category of urban music. Do you think vich change is going to be lasting? A lot of people are hesitant saying you know it's just the issue today and tomorrow. It's going to be something. Apples I I know that I'm committed. I can only really speak for my self in what I know that it's. It's a crucial time for me to educate myself, and to never you know right now, too. I'm not a teacher. Not The preacher on the students and I think that only person I can really speak for is myself and how Donald? The next six months coming up to one of the most crucial elections taught me in my lifetime. Coming up in November and then that's what I. What beyond that? How do I? Say Active? How do we when things are you know when I'm working with global citizen now working on treatments and working towards getting a vaccine once that happens once. We're all back to.

"Congressional action and it's it's best way is to fix the qualified immunity now qualified immunity was established in nineteen sixty eight it basically gives the sort of an extra layer of protection over top of police they said police can't do their job or they have a difficult time doing it if they knew every time they did something they could possibly have to find themselves in court or they be liable for the action so they sort of set up this little you know kind of back door that allowed police to put their hands on you you know you're on to the ground and bang on the hood of the car you get handcuffed and things like that and they basically have set up this thing called qualified immunity and if you look at it and you think about okay do that sixty eight they did at sixty eight because things were so rough in sixty eight what with America was going through the re establish it for that reason what was the intent of setting up qualified immunity senator Cory Booker who has said a lot of really inflammatory things recently said this there is a standard that has gotten cold qualified immunity which is is what it sounds like it's making officers many of them who've done very bad things immune from civil suits as well and so our bill one of the one of the pillars of that will say that no one is above the law and if you do heinous things that tear at the fabric of our community or even in danger or take lives that that that the federal government the United States will take action to hold you accountable and you will be subject to that accountability and so that's one color other colors just Hey Erica accountability means you have to have standards well you have to love to be able to measure progress towards a standard so when we do something really radical America just keep a database all of of of of the of the use of force actions of when police shoot people and killed him and and and if the police misconduct so police officer can't get charge macabre misconduct one pleased former leave moved to another state and and get a job so up to explain qualify unity in that there's a case that was brought for by this woman and she was pregnant she's in Seattle she gets pulled over by the police she refuses to sign something it's basically she's not admitting anything it's just you sign this which just says you know you've got some injury have to appear in court right just want to sign it they got to get out of the car the bigger the car she's pregnant the cops are trying to determine like where you want to taser Dante's in the stomach I think a taser like taser neck so she goes to bring a case against him she now has to prove that that the police were acting in such a way that there is a prior action that was taken against another civilian by the police and that the police were found guilty of this you almost and somebody has to be a trailblazer have it happen to them have the copy found guilty in order for you to then bring your case forward in this half find it it's the strangest thing if you can't find that then you sorry you can't bring a civil case against the police officer yeah this is a national refuted a great review of the of this incident and the reason I think it's so complicated that goes back a hundred and fifty years yes there were a hundred fifty years ago there's a real question do feds have any kind of jurisdiction over local law enforcement and they decided yes but you can't prosecute a cop in a local jurisdiction if he doesn't know that it's unconstitutional and so what they said is okay well that's it's kind of based on common sense but then they've been as the of the rider in the National Review puts so many incredibly stupid cases that it doesn't really help the way they thought to justify this kind of qualified immunity as if a cop doesn't know what he's doing is unconstitutional you can't then charging for doing something unconstitutional yeah and so the way to prove that he did something unconstitutional was has there been a case exactly like the one that he's now being charged with right there where they judge judicata that well of course every single case brought just about is in some ways a little different and so because of that there was never in a situation where a pregnant woman was tased yeah that was determined to be unconstitutional and therefore you could never bring anything you know against against a cop under this qualified immunity and sold the thrust of the article National Review is right now this is being adjudicated in the Supreme Court yes and his argument is and that's why I think it's it's interesting coming full circle that's a review is like for smart conservatives I mean they're very they're intellectually honed there like William F. Buckley guys the he was when he started it and their argument is exactly in effect what Cory Booker is doing which is this needs to be addressed not by the courts but by Congress that Congress needs to come up with a new way to interpret it because that is supreme court in all the courts are so caught up in this a hundred fifty years of jurisprudence that it's it's just it's too murky to add to have fixed and my only objection Miley retort to the guy the writer National Review is yeah right when can we you know trust Congress to come up with some kind of new quotes the law that will you know work for what now is being argued is qualified immunity which is you know no you know kind of new ones I just think that it's going to be impossible for to get a majority from whichever party is in control to get this out past one hundred so that's the argument and so Cory Booker saying okay here's an idea here's what we should to how we should approach and I would assume the guy the National Review would say good for you Corey I'd rather to be handled in the Senate then in the Supreme Court this I think I don't you sort of scoffed at the idea happen in Congress but I believe time you don't have people on the left and the right would both like to clear this up it is a catch twenty two that is created by this so what you end up having is it we're precedent doesn't exist a court can punch on the question is whether the cop broke the law which in turn in short the president the president never gets established right exactly okay well what was weird with the somebody else's pregnant now okay then you know what that's new we have to be so therefore we're not going to have
Jon M. Chu - how the internet changed visibility for Asian Americans
"And if you could ever like yourself as the subject of a story it's like it almost takes a work of imagination to like you know. See that who you are can. Yes object store. I mean I basically grew up in. I think that's part of both my power and my weakness is like. I grew up in an environment in the Silicon Valley in the eighties and the nineties. And so I know that perspective because I grew up in the perspective of like Oh are Asians the other when you're surrounded by it. You are indoctrinated it and so you know what they're thinking and I grew up in a Chinese restaurant as well. So the fears of what people think of you are completely intertwined in your brain and in your heart. I think the Internet changed so much because when I watched youtube video and for instance and dance like I saw how fast the perspective of what Asians are as dancers in the dance world. When I started Asians were known as amazing hip hop dancers. But when I went to those tournaments and these these these conferences whereas they're six thousand Asia American dancers and their amazing hip hop dancers. And that's where they Kaba. Modern was job. Jabotinsky was there. Were all these amazing answers. And the world didn't know about it and in the span of like four or five years everybody knew about it and suddenly it's like. Oh Asians condense. When did you start going to these dance and I went? Let's see my cousin was going to San Diego State. And so she'd be like you have to come see this because you like dance and this is incredible and so. I want to say it was like two thousand six two thousand five. The collaboration or which dance competition was this They Will Aberration Star. Collaboration collaboration but there's also other ones but data for the first time. And that's when I did step up to I was like when I was creating sabotage like crews because I've seen these crews And Job Lock is like the. All Star like they weren't there was no ABC. At the time there was no nobody knew them they had never been filmed before so we got them very very early. But witnessing the shift of people seeing agents dancers and stink. Oh there can be the best. When you see these Korean dancers in those Uniqlo ads or in missy Elliott videos like it changed and I could see how fast that oh it just takes an example. I love that you have always seemed to love dance and music and sort of gravitated towards those areas in your work. Obviously I remember. I went to the set of your web series. You're super can't series the St shooting like a showdown seen in the town true we had. They're kicking us out in fifteen minutes so he just shoot like our whole last episode at fifteen minutes. It was insane. I was I was there. It was pretty great. And you really between that project and the step up movies and the Adam Chu dance crew. Which I'm GonNa make you explain to turn around and the Internet back then but you really seem to to be able to lean into these interests of yours but at the same time create company of talent like Harry Shum Junior. Got So many greats spotlights through your works with him and so many other dancers got on my rematch. Cast Nets smarr. All that stuff was crazy. It was crazy times. How did that like what? What kind of role did that project? First of all. How do you describe it now? Looking back I mean we were early and Youtube. There's two thousand seven two thousand eight. Maybe I don't know maybe two thousand eight nine somewhere around there and basically we had done step up to and Miley Cyrus had watched the movie and so she called our fourteen year old star of that movie atoms. Vanni who played Moose in the movie and left a message. He didn't answer he she him as I loved you in that movie congrats and didn't leave a number and so she's like fifteen or sixteen and he's fourteen. He calls me like. Oh my Gosh Miley Cyrus just called me. Can you get me her number? I'm like a I don't know how to get her now to call her age. He's like Yeah Asia. No I'm not going to do that but she was already had a youtube channel and we had already were thinking. Hey we should do some videos on youtube thing and so I was like she has her best friend. Mandy. Who's a dancer like? Let's challenge them to a dance battle and just challenger and maybe she'll answer because she knows who you are so we got our crew together and made this crazy video challenging her to a dance battle and two days later she answered and she had the biggest youtube channel at the time This is at the height of her sort of power. And when she answered us She got all her celebrity. Friends made it like music video and got included channing. Tatum and Jenna Dewan in their video. Which is kind of a slap in the face to us. We'll man dance battling real though we should. We should resolve more things. Thought those this was west side story digital like this real shit and people online like really got into it. People who hated Miley could be on our side and then people who love it could be on her side and we made another video. After and we pulled out our Rolodex we got like Sandler Lindsay Lohan. We got Chris Brown before the incidence of Diana. Ross Amanda bines before here incidents. We've got a lot of people. And then we got a huge amount of his we've got millions and millions of hits and at that time it was big and so then she answered again with like helicopters and Ryan secret and all these people about this whole thing which I remember it being just so huge but it's kind of an example of growing an Internet age community in a way very very like demonstrably has power. I mean you've also worked with Justin bieber twice and saw how how strong his phantom is. So it's kind of cool to see the Asian American community rally around Craze Rich Asians and that came out not that at all at all related to one another safe. You know all these I mean they are little bit though. That's that's what I wanted to ask about his Asian American dance crews and southern California's. Such a thing you know I went to Ucla. Watch them and it's so cool to kind of hear you talk about how. Yeah Yeah I mean I you know. And Jabber walkies like weren't they on like America's best dance crew or something like that but that was that was when like the world got to know them but before that they were in ACDC dance crew before they were actually as during while they were on there. They were in step up before they were ever On match you put you put the Jabber walkies on the map that you represented elsewhere. We film them for those for sure. I had already made my first studio movie and yet I still felt like when I would watch youtube. This is like energy and I reminded myself that. I didn't have to ask permission for anything like I could have a camera. I know how to edit and I ended all the. Are you to battle videos? I didn't have to answer to anybody. And that's an amazing confidence builder and powerful thing to know that you have at your fingertips and you can have millions of people watching it tomorrow. Not next week. When a marketing company goes not with the press release like just releasing it. There was a big lesson to me during that time knowing that I have no excuses not to make stuff at any moment that I wanna make

"O'clock tonight. We are Loaded up pack tonight. We have a lot of different guest on a lot of different subjects between now and nine o'clock and then it's gambling fin with your reality check. Let's go straight out of the chute with early off hitter tonight favor of the show front of the show second round pick of the reds back in nineteen eighty managed for years in the reds minor league system than the Yankees System. Whatever twenty one hundred games? He's in the International League Hall of fame. He went in at two thousand fourteen. He managed Your Cincinnati Reds in two thousand. Three two thousand and five is always a pleasure to spend a few minutes with Dave Miley. How are you my good friend? Good to hear your voice and Me On argue. Well everybody good great what about you? We're we're hanging in. Their kids are going a little. Stir crazy but we're good. I thought of you last night because you had sent a text in the middle of the show I had. I was talking with Rick Green last night. Who made his Major League debut with the reds in June of ninety nine it was his only Major League appearance? He pitched five and two thirds innings. Gave up three runs. He never got another shot in the major leagues. You Happen to be listening. You recommended. The red sign him. You had him at Triple A. You got to tell him he was coming up. What what do you remember about grade? In that moment I'll tell you what he One of the best things about AAA managers. You know televised debate leagues and he was granted access. We call the Minneapolis and also can be so on Toledo tigers and then He was with the Milwaukee As his last year as a free agent and You know me and Buck always thought. Highly of sudden reached out to To Jim Bodenham. There are indirectly time and they're recommended them. They signed him and did a job force and it was great that he got a chance to go. Especially WHAT CINCINNATI. Boy As you said when you and you're probably so many stories over the years but that moment when you're able to see the look on their face when you tell them they are being called up. That's gotta be really cool. No doubt and I heard a little bit and it gets to hold a conversation with him last night but I I do remember When we told them we were on the road in Norfolk and Evidently couldn't get a hold of his wife. Lady the Ballpark and I looked at bucket. Grant Jackson Cohen said. Well thank you she calling me for and then you know. I didn't want to tell her over the phone. But now she gave Rick and it all worked out but Yeah that's definitely the best part of you know AAA stuff you can talk to the guy that. Aaa manager You know having to release guys was the worst but sending guys especially at first time like you. I remember Dan Balloons and guys like that of the world that they're going to the big leagues or something that to look on the face and they're coming through you I earlier in the week ahead. Eric Davis on the show. We were talking about the the decade the all decade team. The fans voted on you You played with Eric all the way back in one thousand nine hundred one with you gene. You played within through the system did you. Could you see his his greatness unfolding as you were a teammate of his our I tell you what he probably wanted. Best Athletes Ever seen her plate with he you know. I don't know if they're told you. The originally signed his shortstop and kind of like the Reggie Sanders story where he made of how many errors and they moved in the Senate filled and that was the year that that I the first year that I played in eighty one and you know just the adjustment. He made out there. I mean it just came so easy for them and You know like we talked to. It's probably been over the winter that last time I talked to Eric but You know just. He probably could have done anything. He wanted on high school basketball. Football didn't matter and Larry Bar and was drafted him out of La and And you know that just tells you how bad scouting was back in the day before him side. You mentioned Aaron Boone. And you had him with the reds did you. Did you ever think that? Get the at the time. That guy could be a major league manager someday. What do you think of him? becoming a manager where you would. What is bloodline I? I never gave it much thought that that first of all aid money. Getting that side of it You know with the blood line with the grandfather Ray Boone and Bob and you know Brett playing and all that kind of like the bell situation those guys they were just around baseball so many times. Peres's and guys like that I thought Aaron did a terrific job. Obviously New York's not that it's not the most easiest place to manage I'm sure but You know what I mean. I think it helps them going into that. Espn side of it where you know the the communication and different things like that but Aaron probably could have done anything. He wanted her baseball general manager. Or whatever so Very happy form talking little reds baseball with Dave Milo the former reds manager member of the International League Hall of Fame Whenever Twenty One hundred games in the minor leagues during his time. You also I forgot about this. I went back and it was looking this up. You had dion for about Twenty Game. Stretch it Louisville in two thousand and one and he was just odd. He'll almost four hundred for you and a twenty game stretch and got the call up. What was it like watching Dion? The baseball player Michael Right. He know we had a little past. I guess it was around. I guess it was ninety three after after the Yankees and all that we were in Atlanta and I got to talk to him for a long time and hadn't seen him for a while and then Jim Jim signed him as a free agent and You know he. He did twenty game stretch like he said he had. Most I remember about the is watching this guy. Go if it's not from first to third but if ever watching them hit a triple just amazing but he I mean he had he had the tools and You know what he was able to do on the football and baseball side of it and not miss a beat just terrific. But he did you. Are you mentioned scouting and between nineteen eighty five and eighty six those Denver teams you guys? Have Eric Davis Barry Larkin? Chris Sabo Paulo Neo. Rob Dibble some guy named Tracy Jones. I Dunno whatever happened here but how about that collection of talented Denver in those years. Oh my gosh unbelievable they have you have just physician players at that time and that was One of 'em that I think we had five catches on that roster. At one time it was alaniz nicely in and Keri McGrath and Joe Oliver Myself and getting anybody heck most time. I got playing in catching. I played who I believe. That's the thing that you could be around. Just watch those guys that they came in. You know like you said with Barry and you know it was a lot of fun to watch and You know that was a that was a great summer. Those guys were very unique and it was great to watch him. Go on and help reg do some great things and win the world series. What was it like as manager? The Cincinnati reds. Come to the ballpark knowing you could write somebody like Sean Casey into the lineup. One of my favorites. Yeah it was great. You know the toughest part. Probably there was nothing about it. I guess it was You know Bob who like I really had a lot of respect for. Is the one that that about doing was one? That was fired When they brought me up as the interim at first and we still had Aaron on the team and just the way that Aaron handle it was you know. It's something that I think about whenever you know when you brought up his name that's the first thing he doesn't mind. It could have been you know could have been an awkward situation you know. We ended up trading them to the Yankees as a matter of fact and I think that's the area that they run the beat the red sox but Gave a different governors out there. You Quick Story. Whenever I would give him a day off you know he'd never shut up in the dugout and I'm like I tell Jelly. And and you know mark various gadgets. Like this guy killing here anymore. So in the National League the Double Switches. So it'd be about the fifth or sixth anything like my kitchen change case gets you whatever and goes miles at that. Had the day off. I see man not anymore. Okay Danny graves that's That's Beautiful Hey. It is so great to hear voice. I got such a big kick last night out of you text in the middle of the interview with Rick Green. And it's it's good we could hook up but I'm glad you're you're doing well and stay safe and opening. We can talk again soon. All right pleasure you know you can get a hold of me anytime buddy. And hopefully we'll get through all this next time withdraw cow. Sit in the I'll be governed. W and then sitting in the booth. Hey that is a deal thanks. They'd take care all right there. You Go Dave Miley. He's one of my favorites. Yeah right in the middle of our interview last night with Rick Green and rick was talking about Dave and it was dave who so. I'm an recommended. The red sign even and was pitching. Well at triple eight eight year in Got The call and rick spoke glowingly of of Dave Dave sends me texts. Hey say hi to him before. He's he's done still ahead. Dallas - Wylie HS Principal Visits Every Graduating Senior
"Now educators across North Texas and the nation are going above and beyond these days trying to make things special for their students especially graduating seniors but in one or Texas school of principle is really going all out Miley high school principal Verity Montgomery joins us live now to talk about his visits to every single senior Verity thanks for joining us here on the Carol the news line how many seniors will that in total thank you thank you for having me on we had a six hundred and twelve seniors what that is incredible what made you decide to do this mmhm principal this is something you talk about going above and beyond well the the it was just one of those things that happened here was a we're a very traditional aid school and and we get to the point you know you when I first went to court Jane it was bad as it was the one that we didn't get to go with seven days to go back may may the fourth and we were gonna do this may the fourth be with you saying address Star Wars and do all this stuff but then it did happen and we got to look at it made all the things there are senior traditionally get the very latest we're gonna get to do any of the senior walk in with the way our huge thing with our senior walking capping downs and visiting elementary schools and here's one thing after another and it just manages hit me like a load of bricks these kids of seeing others senior classes go before them and not get to do this I said we we were doing some things form scoreboard bad joke Danvers and yard signs in their yard things like they're just trying to make is good form as it could but couldn't think of anything we even have a featured laid out that was really cool we thought it was a class of twenty twenties school division but we didn't see this coming and and values are what else can I do in there and I thought the thing across the man was was I want to call a senior meeting and you know talk to but you can't do that when you're in court things are so inexpensive things go to them so that's what we said we do we just my wife and I just got the car but my secretary mapped out the route for me as best she could seventeen pages worth of a well defined and we we figure out you know and I love that you have such a great sense of humor you you just mentioned that twenty twenty vision you know the upon with the may for the fourth be with you I love it and you are a guy who appreciates a good pun so what was it that you did when you actually visited the students well I have this lame joke that I was going to do it you know you have to have some uses the cell walk up to the door your argument already wearing a pirate masking and I knock on the door and I tell him that does business everything is really not happy while in high school now because you all are there and it's really unhappy but one of these days we're gonna snicker about it and I'll give my one of those little snickers candy bar for the day at the lame joke but I delivered at six hundred times the she missed my family heart yes seriously so when you're knocking at the door and they see the principal is out the door where the kids saying are we going are we in trouble right well I have a pretty unique relationship with them anyway I dress up a lot and things like that so they would expect but I didn't it wasn't a surprise that I made your body knew it I would post what streets I was going to be on that day and then and that alone was motivation to get me doing it for for thirty forty three so there for the day you know you had to finish it so users get after it so I knew I was going but this but some of you know they they look on their face was priceless and and this is very very rewarding for me and I told him it was more for me than them because I I thought I needed to do something for them and I I couldn't think of anything is that you can do FOR six hundred people you know we are so blessed to have principles just you know teachers administrators that care for our students and our communities like you do what a special opportunity to take it upon yourself and your wife what did she think about all this because you kind of tag along to tagalongs she was like the nuts and bolts of this thing when I first told we're going to do it she just did what he normally does that have an idea as you roll their eyes at me and just after thank you yeah I was gonna do it by myself but she would have nothing with it so she navigated she drove and she was always grandmother with a GPS from the from the quickest route and let it gets got yeah it's a lot harder than it looks you drive by you see a street is that well that's all well and good but then it will be a few minutes later you're right back here at this end right where you were just a minute ago you know so that's awesome I'm covering I remember I remember when you went down to help out the other pirates that we're dealing with a hurricane Harvey in this once again just shows what you guys do there thank you so much for your time our our pleasure I thank you for having me on thank you bye bye that's very Montgomery from Wylie high school

Meet Alice Ball, Unsung Pioneer In Leprosy Treatment
"Picture the world of chemical research through about nineteen ten I'm guessing that a young African American woman probably is not a big part of that mental picture right well she should be Alice ball was a chemist to develop the most effective treatment for leprosy in the early nineteen hundreds joining me now to talk about the story of Alice Paul and her legacy is doc my way of Bubba he's director of the ball method a short film about Alice Paul will be making its world premiere next week at the pan African Film Festival in Los Angeles bringing Alice ball out of the shadows of hidden figures full disclosure the film received a grant from for its development from the Sloan foundation that's also a contributor to science Friday that Miley joins us from Skype welcome to science Friday hi are things are going to have the let's start with the capsule summary who who was Alice Paul give us a little bit of thumbnail profile there yeah so ball with the American woman born in eighteen ninety two middle upper class family and she attended the university of Washington and graduated was two masters the two bachelor degree in pharmacy and after that she went to the university of Hawaii which used to be called the college of Hawaii back then and became the first woman to graduate with a master's degree in chemistry and then also end up being an instructor there as well how did she get so focused on helping people with leprosy well started with her teeth on my master's thesis and doctor here at home and who is an assistant surgeon and Kelly hospital where they should take care of patients is that Percy he rendered the service and he saw that the method does she was using on the copper plant on her thesis was could be helping could help them get injectable solution that you're looking for what do the leprosy patients family thing idea they have this plant and it sort of worked a little bit but not very well and she helped to start look for an injectable solution yes they used to apply it as the lotion colors but I wasn't very effective and then they tried giving it or leave but that would also make patients vomit and so document I knew that injectable solution was the key but the problem is that the term group or wasn't so you work wasn't been able to take by the human body so can somebody to help them to accomplish that because in those days if you had leprosy or dead person walking right you were yeah exactly when Alan yeah and so the Alice Paul work with people before they were sent off to this quarantine yes she she started working on it the summer of twenty nineteen fifteen and what happened was patients will get sent to Cali hospital stay there ranging from two weeks to a month and then when they were doing that they're not going to get better they'll get sent to the small island called Molokai where is that Saddam when called Kalaupapa and that settlement actually still has a lot of patience on it today SO you chronicle in the book how she sort of stumbled on the answer to making the injectable solution how how close is that to the truth I mean I know you have literary license and writing a plot for a movie but we were you able to find out what really happened yes right I think one of the current process of for her to find it was leading the that some good acid best thing called for overnight and so that was one of the things that I could show visually in the phone without getting too deep into the chemistry so that's basically what I had I was trying to connect and in fact we have a to give a little peek people it's a little taste of the film we have a that pivotal scene in which he has a flash of insight

By whom well by the Horse Guards which is one of those any metric expressions essentially by the army and end. The commission is to paint a lot of generals and that's partly because the generals had a tendency to sort of not necessarily come back from campaign. This is why the book is called artist on campaign so you mentioned in which wall his after but in the acknowledgement you thank the offices and gentlemen of the Napoleon series There are a lovely bunch of people there are of course. Enormous number of enthusiasts pat. The Napoleonic wars internationally and the Napoleon series is the oldest longest running Internet forum and it publishes articles and so on Original documents source documents. There's little people on it to rum. Retired or serving army officers history. Teachers does the terrific bench. I learned an enormous amount from them. Anything that you ever want to know because this is what's happened in the English army. You're over in Portugal to chase the French out of Portugal and out of Spain and it causes Napoleon's of their aft. So we what what I found was the richness in your knowledge of all of these little battles were going on all through those stages artists. Ralph was given a list of generals from the war office and he was told to paint them in order. Yes seniority was how you advanced and Adjourn Rules Day. had a very pronounced sense of honor and of their status and so on and and did get I've been known to resign over a slight ch like being passed over for a plum job. Yes ask well. What I didn't realize very much was that you could buy your way into the army up to a certain level? Yes that was the normal method. The time is called purchasing a commission and It didn't actually seem to work any worse than anything else because us. Yes you you bought. It was something with the younger sons of the gentry. The aristocracy and so on They you bought your buy them a commission in the army army and in pasttime it it gives them something to do. It gave them a job guys no position in society especially got them out of the House and those who were no Goud you'd tended to get passed over a beer to all move sideways into some way with. I couldn't do any harm. Well in London he was. He was also a painting the portrait of Captain Jackson and he got on very well with Captain Jackson and and captain jenks Jackson was with the tillery. He was a well organized fighting man who expected promotion but the promotion of go onto Captain Hammond who was very charming very handsome but without leadership qualities. And there's a rivalry avary that goes on with these story three right through the book. Ralph had a limited time to paint the generals and sometimes there was. There was time when the army moved on but they didn't go anywhere fast. If he can briefly tell us how now an army moves well of course it was a bit like the weakest link in the chain. The army could only move at the pace of the slowest part of it. which was the ox carts carrying the dragging their impediment with them? Because the army took its house with it when it moved not just people galloping about on horses and so on and the cavalry and so on those were the Royal Horse Artillery Korea which kept in Jackson is an ornament and but there was also paymasters the engineers the sappers. And of course a nam-yong Tom Young campaign at that time also had as think modern mentioned somewhere the camp followers the women who are enamored of if a particular soldier a nurse million of the army as well as the the official wives their children their servants the boys who cut the grass for the mules and their dependence. It just went on and on and on and so they they attend Mile March. Yes yes was probably a match but the generals were not cain to make time to do a sitting for Ralph so he had to use his charm and inside influence Lawrence and this charm is also used on some of the local ladies and at term of the time comes up a night with Venus Venus a lifetime with mercury. What's that that is about authority expression of the period? Well of course a beautiful young woman was Venus. It's been well classically educated. At least to some degree. The treatment for syphilis at the time was the mercury treatment which sure since discovered didn't actually cure it and it was very traumatic so that was a joke of the time. Yes Ralph is constantly short of money as well all All of those in the army everything was provided food and accommodation would if he can call a ban accommodation accepting salary. And this was really something that happened at this time with the wages the money well absolutely because among the people in that enormous train following the army round was the paymasters department with its heavily-guarded chests of specie or actual coinage because the Portuguese and some would not accept paper money in other words bills on the banks so they had to take this money to other places to to to changes back into coinage so to pay Komo mental and that was true absolutely absolutely true. The paymaster Kerry cherished of money around on John. Moore's retreat to Khurana. When things things got very very bad I had to throw the Spanish silver dollars over the cliff so the French show a following them? Didn't get them well to get money. Jackson and Rowe organized organized. The Grand Royal Hoarser tillery writes with rival. Captain Hammond having the best horse. What one of the reasons they also needed money money was to buy the personal possessions of Army Friends Killed in action and this was probably true? Took yes after every battle Well a lot of your friends and associates would have been killed the regiment or they company would hold an option of their effects. Fix and then I would send money back to the wives dependence family and so forth it was yes sad but yes well look. We're talking about sad but there's a lot of humor in this because Ralph had many adventures some through his own stupidity. He was taken prisoner by the French at one stage and jailed with a tourist and the tattooists said all arm okay. They're not going to do anything to me. which really surprised estimate well as she said? I think to to Ralph Monograph. You may shoot me. No they cannot spare me. I'm the regimental tattooist due to its French. French soldiers unlike the English had earrings will earrings which at that time was in much more ordinary and they also had regimental tattoos and of the regimental crest or whatever rather like the way it used to the sailors having tattoos yes so since he was the regimental tattooist. Oh tattooing toying lead suspect to the artwork and what I really loved was the artistic description of the portraits matching the personalities of the Generals Ralph's ideas of the placement of this being God work he was going to paint doesn't exist only in my imagination. Afraid eight although there are works along those lines of course the big group portrait and there is a group portrait. I think of Willington conferring with his generals so that type of thing was very much the official portrait. which is something? We don't have much these days that that portrait painting may not be true but his desire to get paintings back to. Mrs Humphry now you. You said that she's Queen of London's print Saleh's patroness of the arts. It was like the illustrated news of the time and that is true she existed. Oh absolutely humphry was the doyen. She had a relationship with one of the other one of the great caricaturists of the age. Gil Ray who was a lodger in the house us and so when Ralph goes to see his prints Rearranges them so they're in front of Gil Ray so that attract the attention inch not buyer but yes engravings of popular subjects were enormously popular and it was a way that people could Have an image of well before photographic reproduction like we can get a poster of Monet's water lilies well. I thoroughly enjoyed this this introduction back again into the art of the Joji and time as Caroline's last book competition was so we have artist on compaign. How would a dense chew? But charming and talented artist cope with Patriot. Painting portraits in a war situation Caroline Arlen Miley has written with knowledge and Huma in artist Dan campaign that's fascinating terms of the images in the in the period rid in which the history is set and the images chosen to represent that because some of what I'm looking at looks another representational images to represent a particular time. Speaking of which the time is nineteen fifty six. The is the historical stargell period. I'm looking at and it was the year. Melbourne hosted the Olympics. But just how significant was that year in shaping Melbourne and for that matter Australia now nick. Richardson Explores that concept in his work. Appropriately entitled Nineteen Fifty six excite. Nick welcome back to three. Thanks very much for having me back. It's a pleasure now. Look this notion of the Olympics is in many ways a conceit because because what surrounds that moment in time speaks to Australia's development and place in the world so what night you choose nine hundred fifty six. It's an interesting thing isn't it because there there is this hardy view that the nineteen fifties in particular this kind of sleepy decade especially in Australia with Prime Prime Minister Robert Menzies presiding over us as we all kind of walk with allies half-closed into the dazzling lot of the nine hundred sixty S. Well and in fact Paul Keating the former prime minister say you know it was a decade that we suffered from a near lethal dose of fogies them so there for instantly instantly for me. It was something like wasn't exactly like that was something else going on here that we might have missed and so I started to peel back some liars and sure enough fifty six which had kind of been given a kind of a sense of benchmark because of the Olympics but also the arrive live TV suddenly once. I started. Go deeper than that. There were all these other things that seemed to rush out of the bottle. We're going to look at some of those other things. I mean just the way you described Melbourne at at that time Australia. A closer look revealed a city aspiring to be cosmopolitan but not quite reaching them. A feeling of dryness futility the loan leanness provided us all right. The future was never more blurred kind of barrier between us and the world of Australia strange hostile world whereas was future proved we were the underdogs so it really was a back in the fifty years it was. It was a sense that we weren't quite sure where we were. Uh we didn't have a great sense of the rest of the world and bear in mind. There was still this great vulnerability and Pine and trauma that it had been the carry over from the end of World War Two so there was. There was a desire for something new but perhaps not the realization of had to achieve that. Well I want to start in much unusual place really given them a momentous events that were occurring around that something a little more domestic right. Lola summer of the Seventeenth Dolon we can move onto salinger's catcher in the Rye the significance of the dull. Come well the dull was extraordinarily significant and the reason why is literal and metaphorical sense. It was apply the Australia discovered its voice and I think that the classic instance of this is up until that time a lot of Australian stage work was inhabited bye-bye people who adopted English accents and indeed. The kind of the theatrical Canon was very much derived from the UK tradition. Not only was it. Shakespeare Pity but we had visitors like a simple phone. Ralph Richardson Laurence Olivier. who were coming over to perform what marked the dull apart was.

Twitter's Jack Dorsey Says You Probably Won't Get an 'Edit' Button
"Of the most requested features for twitter since since two thousand six before twitter existed. It seems has been an edit button when asked about the edit button during a recent video Acuna with wired magazine or wired dot com rather twitter. CEO Jack Dorsey said quote. We'll probably never do it. Dorsey admitted there are good reasons for having an edit button he says look I know you can fix your typos. You can fix your broken links. But he said it also enables bad behavior like editing in content to mislead people. Dorsey has been resistant to an edit button forever. Other people at the company have been less resistant over time and talked about even even having it on the road map. Yes we'd like to get to edit button someday. Most recently Kevin Baked Poor said Yeah. It's something we should probably do. But it's not in the plans that anytime soon. And here's Jack Dorsey coming out saying we're not going to do over. PROBABLY NOT GONNA do probably saying there's a chance so so Scott. That's the first question question. Is he just lowering expectations. So that people get very excited when they finally launches later this year. Or does he mean it like I. He's just a he's just just a no edit button kind of guy and under his watch he won't let them do it. Well as I mentioned to you tech segment the morning streets morning when you were on He said things like this before where it sounded like he was pretty resolute. One of those was we were never going to extend the character limit past one hundred forty characters. At the time he was saying that what was it was because because everything was based on SMS originally and that was the limit back then and even though it didn't matter now The whole fun of twitter or the point of twitter is the short concise ice messages and then they changed their minds and went to to eighty with. What does it does it to eighty to eighty kind of out of nowhere a little bit? I mean I I remember that was announced and released. It was very quick process. So I'm not so sure he'll stick to it and I also think that he's not not that he's not being honest about it but they're not really talking about all all the different ways that all kinds of services social networks or otherwise figured out a way to create edits in a way that people like whether it's a delayed thing where red psycho you submitted this new now have fifteen seconds to fix your email like g mail does or the way facebook desert where you can just edit it or There are other ways where you can and put a little time stamp and say this thing was edited at this time of day on this date like there are programmatic ways to do it and they know that Jack knows that. I'm sure they talk about this stuff all the time in fact one hundred percent sure that this topic is is like this perennial thing that never goes away over there at that company But I think they'll get to it. I think they'll get around to it because it twitter's no longer longer. Just here's my fast quick all those typos no big deal. It's now I have something very important to say. If I don't have the option to work conor tweak it fix a link that wasn't the right paste whatever it is without having deleted and then people cash it in different readers so some guys see the the thing that's already leading others I don't it. Looks like to post to one guy. No post to somebody else. Like that stuff's bad user experience and I think if they WANNA have a more unified experience across the board discos discos nicely with their other changes recently like decentralizing terms and other things which I also agree with those things and this would fit nicely in there so. I'm not so sure Jack couldn't do do it. I think he's just having one of those days ready to commit. Yes Kelly in our discord points out that in deal dash talked to a developer former twitter engineer. Leslie Ashley Miley on the function podcast about this and and and talked about the technical issues and it would be apparently very hard to implement an edit button on twitter it. It doesn't take five minutes to do if you want to do it right but in response to that I would say all the things Scott just said had read it has it. FACEBOOK has it and these are big big platforms with all the same concerns and implementation that twitter has has so. You've got a wealth of ways. You you even in slack. We were talking to your like what if they did it. The Way g mail does it right where you have fifteen fifteen minutes. Just put a delay. So there's no shortage of ways to implement an edit button insensitive situations on the Internet. I don't buy by that it's like wow but if we did there'd be all these negative consequences that no one ever thought of. This is one of those examples where it's very well thought out. People have tried it in in many situations. They've implemented and tested over years. The hard work is done for twitter. It's it's a philosophical thing. It's not a practical thing. It's a philosophical thing. Dorsey just is the way I used to be. I mentioned this on this morning too. I used to be someone who's like no you shouldn't have an edit button because it we'll be abused and you should just teach you to compose well from the beginning and I've changed my mind on that over the years. I'm like no I've seen some good at it. But implementations implementations that do not lead to misleading information do not lead to confusion because of the way they are implemented. So we've solved that problem. It's just a matter of whether you want to do it or not. And if he's really worried about people spreading misinformation or misleading information on twitter. This is the least of their issues his already the format or is already the platform of the most misleading information. Part of it's just because it's short and quick and people just go up there it doesn't go and with whatever I've just seen it. I'm not going to double check or do any any research. That's his concern. I don't buy it up. The worst setup as it is for that so I read. It certainly would would have had succumbed to that as a big problem if they hadn't figured out how to do it in a way that it won't be taken advantage of

"Blogging blogging thing I just don't see it just doesn't make sense me would make sense to me is the fact that they got caught up in this and they thought no this was the greatest love they'll ever field though both they're both young and the dust settled and they were like it's not what we thought it was swim that's what makes sense to me the other thing that also would make sense is the other theory that sources are running with which is that they're just taking time I'm off and rather than having that affects stormy they've decided to separate and there's hope that they'll get back together which I think is also a possibility holy possibly no one is saying that this is done forever I think that's the last thing that anyone's running with we haven't heard one story that's like Kylie Jenner done never wants to see Travis is facing and that is not what we're seeing I thought in response to what you said is I agree that maybe they're having a realization that this all happened too fast and they kind of got caught up that being said I think that can also coexist with the potential cheating I am not saying he cheated I don't know I don't I don't have it intuitive feeling on it yet but I think that it's possible that both could happen yet is totally possible saying that I feel like usually when this spy things happen then you're presented with evidence right word maybe it's not the most substantial evidence but it's still there you tend to gravitate one way or another where you're like oh God look at all this evidence he totally cheated or you're like this is bullshit I don't believe an I can't see I can't feel myself going in either direction right now it's leaning me to believe that maybe he didn't cheat because I feel like if all the evidence was glaring me in the face night truly believed it might gut instinct would be like fuck this guy cheated not I don't I just don't feel it I don't have one I don't have one yet I'm not there yet I don't like to say something unless I really feel and I don't know I wouldn't be surprised at all came out that it's true but I also wouldn't be surprised if it did and that's what I feel like I wanna leave that yeah I just always seemed to me that he at the end of the day no matter what went on between them he seemed an like an unbelievable amount of respect for her and you know something Julie he does for sure at least I believe he does but you know what they say about guys like they the wrong head sometimes like I really think that it doesn't matter the the magnitude of the woman that you are with I think sometimes I'm making a generalization I'm aware of that sometimes men and women can get carried away solely in the physicality of it he's traveling she's not on the road he wanted to get at something as simple as that like he literally wants to come and Jackie off isn't doing it for him like literally something as simple as that the reason that this story is a little different is because people are making out to be like she he was in a kind of relationship with this girl like no one's think multiple girls are coming out in this it was kind of like this is there's one consistent quote side chick and here she is that's the story that people are talking about possibility about how it all adds up I know we're going on for a while but I just can't stop the other possibility of how this could all add up is if she is just in the crew somehow and therefore would make sense being all of these places and even if nothing happened between them and Kylie was a little bit nervous about how close they were her blocking unblocking her would still make sense makes total sense she could be what if she's dating or sleeping with one of the other people that he's traveling who who knows I honestly I here's what it is I believe that they know each other I believe there is a connection there I believe there is some evidence nothing is screaming at me he one hundred percent cheated on her no nothing one hundred on either but I don't think she yes I'm eating I'm out there yet anyway this is a developing story that fucking obviously we are going to keep you informed like the most we could possibly be because we're ridiculously invested in anything else you wanted to for everybody that inbox yeah I was fucking crushed yeah I was I was upset and I will admit it and I was rooting for them and I still root for them I know injury literally as a okay we need to do something about this it was like eleven o'clock at night as we need to voice but we weren't together so I called her doc okay we're telling you guys about frame bridge basically framework is a service that makes it super easy and affordable to your favorite things so from art prints posters traveled does anything it's kind of sitting on your phone that's where.

Dot Com definitely go but who knows if Caitlyn's been crying or whatever because it looks like she's been using that product. I am so excited that the products working for her because you know what she's going through right now that's rough. I like arm. I'm sad you know I'm obviously don't like her. But I enjoyed I love pop culture and I love talking about all their little photo ops. Whatever but you know I thought Miley would keep her around because of how good Kaelin is taking. I G Selfie furrows etc but then yesterday Miley was all over the news news or at least one of the blogs. I'll try to pull it up. where her mom was miley cyrus shame by MOM and vacation call they're disgusting and then Molly said that she was just serving content and then when I looked article it showed no joke. Let me out. There's Miley in Utah right one two three four five five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve their teen fourteen fifteen sixteen seventeen eighteen post from one day day in Utah so much looks like one same location to me. I I would have to check her actual instagram. This is onto fab but and that was what I thought she loved having Kaelin for but if she's able to take eighteen photos yup they're all honor I G. I'm doing Social Social Media Ron. Oh she must have deleted a lot of posts effects. You had five thousand or something and now she's down to five twelve did. She delete the photos of her and and Lynn and she did. Where did she never get a post. I don't think she did. She never got a post so that's it should also dating somebody and you don't get a post is going to work out. Let me just tell you that what is not going to work out so yeah. My logic of keeping around to take photos for her looks is totally out the window. 'cause she's able to eighteen shots on a little family vacation in Utah by the way this resort. She's out looks like it's out of a James Bond movie. All you know you're always talking about like your mom loves camping in Utah. All camp this place. Miley is in Utah but it's interesting that she keeps the photos of her and Liam oh. She is definitely thinks she's getting back together. Liam like I really think she's delusional. I think he is over her. Oh you know what life's too short by by. Yeah I like him. I really could play this game. bye-bye does not seem like a fun game. I'm so oh terrified right now to actually remove my Sim card out of my working phone and put him in new phone like I know it worked for you but of you chat. I needed a need to do this idea. I need them. I've been waiting solely on this Paradise Paradise Bachelor in paradise but I did catch up on a few episodes last night and I know I'm late to all this but it's so exciting really late weeks late elite that Dean and Caitlyn ended up being together. I can't believe he came back for her and really thought about it. It's interesting because I think he made himself but I think that's what the problem was and he was just saying like hey wasn't you. I've had a lot of problems emotionally and like dealing with relationships and I don't want to be that way. I WanNa like put myself aside and be with you but I had no idea if she was leaving or not like I knew and she saw him that that was that love at first sight type thing and she like had such passion for him and the other guy had no idea that she was leaving with him. It's so funny they both. Wolf thought that she was going to be with them but anyways I was like well. Is this even still happening. What's going on so I looked at Dean's instagram. I'm just now and they are together so that's so cute that she did. Follower hard and bachelor in paradise really does work for a lot of people that show great and then I would you know about demis engaged to that girl because I saw an e. News somewhere caller zero with her fiance. No because when I just saw for the upcoming episode is Demi being really upset. Tell us what you're saying. my friend sent me this video saying the the podcast the morning toast talked about me and Gunnar they only I mean then say a lot. They just said apparently Gunnar. Pratt has an assistant and they went on about got a little. It is the best thing ever assistant. I feel like that's just so brilliant and I love it. So many people are like uranium like no. I'm an assistant yeah because you do you so much to you know and then you work so much with Pratt. Daddy and you do so much for Garner. Yeah I feel like you more as an you could be whatever you wanted to be but I thought that was it good. I love Assistant. I love executive assistance great to whatever it's hilarious. Oh because I recently who was it. I think it was like my mom or someone told hold me they were looking gunners assistant and I recently looked on twitter I just typing gunners assistant and there's a quite a bit of people that are hilarious on twitter talking about me and gunner and how he has an assistant and just like seeing the most ridiculous stuff about us so funny. I know it's weird word. Yes so anyways we all want to hear about your trip to Asia Asia. She had a whole whirlwind. It was an amazing trips so we it was a long trip. I'm happy to be home but it was. It was really really fun. We were there for about ten days and we went to Thailand highland. I for a couple of days and then Singapore and then to Japan and Singapore is our favorite but but it was it was great. Thailand was really cool. We got to see the elephants and it was like a rescue center so it was really exciting a nice to see because you couldn't ride them or do anything so you like pretty pretty much just washed them and learn about them and stuff and then. Singapore is fine because it was like a really expensive. Richy Vegas feel but it was like Super Super Clean and Nice and Tokyo is always fun. It's just crazy packed all the time with tiny little hotel room so that's okay whereas Anima Bowl and what is that movie called and all that what's that cartoon. We went to just watch. Oh look like it was in Tokyo really haven't reviews like a while ago and I can't even remember looked so cool but yeah at the city and it was all busy. Maybe it was uh so the beginning was like a little more intense than I thought because the abominable snowman was breaking out of this like Science Facility and outer him in there were spotlights and everything and he was Kinda like known as a distracting him and got him with him. I should say sorry on her uh-huh and then after that it got better and they became friends and they were playing but I don't think I'm going to take him back to this movie but he liked it in between but then there's a scary bad guys like chasing the snowman and like you know he gets very obsessive. I was like this is not. We need like Winnie the Pooh or something back in but I I liked it. It was fun. It was fun to go to a movie and have that time. Where did you get gunner's elephant from he was playing with the elephants for our yesterday. I gotTA gotTa actually the hotel. He said it was really nice so there was like little shops downstairs and so I got it from a little shop down there. I'm so glad he he likes it of course because there's so many elephants are there are so many to choose from and I I was trying to ask Alex or help it. He's like I don't know whatever you feel. So Oh my God. I don't that one. I love it. He loves absolutely where'd I just put my yeah. He goes like he's I know. I gotTa haven't gotten his birthday present. Yeah I know what I want to get the Ham but it's only part of it but I'm like. I hope he I feel like I don't know I always just like wanting to get him like the best gifts so I hope he likes whatever they get him for his birthday. You are at the best gift giver that Noah's Ark.. He loves so much still plays with that Christmas right. Yeah that's right. Well not forgotten her gun but for other people one of the best gift is manscaping. The following is a public service announcement from MANSCAPING DOT COM every year. Countless men fall victim to manscaping accidents. Nick snags cuts burns. The jungle as dangerous place folks. I feel like sponsors few Knicks in.

"But anyways we took her to the ranch. My Dad works on and we had gun or go on the horse and it was so sweet. My Dad was saying like this is worth more than a million dollars to me. I'm so proud of gunner and this is so fun and it just it was a lot of effort to get there and Sol worth it and I knew it would be and I'm so glad that we could make it happen and put that a time in our schedule so thanks for doing that Spencer well I did learn it was not a went there with the intention action of having a vacation and then I realize no. It's about spending time with important people in our lives. That isn't what my you. We know. History of vacation has been the experience. I can't put that like me sitting on a beach sipping my tie a watching dolphins jump out of water. You know why don't we do that for Thanksgiving. I thought it was canceled but we just go. Oh my gosh no when uploaded that Topaz yesterday. Oh my God oh my God. You're kidding. Oh my gosh. Is this this crazy crazy but why don't we just go for Thanksgiving. You know Canada's over traveling well. We'll be traveling for Christmas so but gosh what's going to happen between now and we're going to start filming. The hills probably pretty soon here. Eh Season Two oh you did officially get our season. Two offers thank you. MTV delusion what blessings area say really. It's going to be who knows what's going. I feel like everyone last season hadn't talked in a while and everywhere kite kinda. Let things go that happened in the past like maybe they came up throughout the season but when everyone initially got together everyone was pretending to like be fine happy and friendly and it is not in that place right now. I feel like there's more like like hatred and anger and stuff that like there's ever been because now the past is in there and like new reasons stuff so I feel like there's going to be a lot lot of drama but it'll be interesting to see who comes back and who doesn't and you know. We have no idea who's even going to be on this next season. I. I don't know what's GonNa Happen. I do know breaking news a week ago that Miley Cyrus and since she never even did a main posed a recalled Kaelin her girlfriend which is very interesting now that it's over they've done my lease sources to people magazine said it it. Everything just happened to fast Bob less. I'm very curious. If Kaelin came on way too hot like go girl play cool smiley serious and then blew it which is I'm upset about 'cause I made brody relevant which helps the hills and it made Caitlyn kind of interesting to have her honesty's in two but now personally. I don't see why they would use her because my sources say that Caitlyn told Miley when they were together that you know hills cast members were discussing what was happening and Miley didn't he didn't want to be discussed so they. MTV and the the hills stopped discussing it and didn't use any of that footage so now Caitlyn's no longer with her and if there was a season two now MTV knows they can't even discuss the Miley stuff because she already had it. You know mixed mixed together which that must have been no problem because she was planning on marrying her and living life on a private jet but now but she wishes she had a time machine so she could go back and Zipper lips so that she could Ghana season two and talk about what she's been through and breaking up with her are fake husband and then getting together with her girlfriend alleged girlfriend but now she can't talk about any of that because she self sabotage. Tur- self which she's going to regret that one I mean. It just looks like she's been using genucel. That's all I've been thinking about and there's only in week left for summer. Inventory clearance sale from Shaw many right now. When you order genucell Jain treatment you will get the classic genucell for bags and puffiness for free today so maybe Caitlyn's not sleeping but who would even know because it looks like she's using genucell and the results are jaw dropping dropping go to genucel dot com enter Heidi at checkout.

"I'm one hundred percent trying to make this work with Demi so they're in a good place and it's funny with Tyler. Gee maybe just because one they're both coming off. Such public relationships obviously only tyler and Hannah everybody like wanted to know every single detail and gee-gee Zane have been so public for so long and their every move was was being watched so maybe they just decided together that they don't really want to like talk about each other. Make does a public thing because tyler saying Oh. We're just friends like my mom trying WANNA. Keep my relationships private or do we don't have to make our religion public or whatever the heck you said and I'm just like bullshit. That is bullshit. Yes they are not just friends yeah. I don't think they're just friends. I mean not just not just limited another lund's for her grandma's funeral. No they are yeah. You're like you. You're not just when you go to your friends. Families Funerals when they're in the same state right and you could attend you just you don't fly out of the country and you just you answer you. Could you could answer it so simply just like how would you answer it yeah. We've been seeing each other. We've been having a great time. What else does she does. What else does the interview. We're going to say I mean okay. That's great and it's obvious because they're photographed together. I think maybe she wants him to talk about it. You think I'm talking about Demi. I'm thinking of Demi launched Mike. You're a little late to the conversation. I was just sending an email. So paint ain't we were talking about. Tyler and I didn't hear you switch. I really hope this is something you never really do. I need you to keep that in and they also need you to realize that I just said Omaha mindset of I really hope that is something. Noah continues to do where he just doesn't listen to us for like five minutes and then chimes in what we were talking about five minutes ago unbelievable double unbelievable yes but to your point now what we did say that we think. Tammy is okay yeah. We think he's okay with it. Thank you were saying on the other hand gee-gee. I feel like they both want to be private. When we all know that there is something going on but I will also throw in that gee-gee. She has been away in fashion week and Tyler has been away and they've been away from each other for a little bit now. Yep So maybe the relationship did slowdown it it coat of but but noah pick but it probably will pick back up again when they're in yeah like maybe she'll come back to. New York and things will pick up again but I could see I could see tyler such a regular guy. I could see them having that conversation like you're about to be gone for a month and I'm got a lot of work to do like we'll. We'll keep in touch but let's touch base in a month. Yeah I mean it could be that ever not or they could be texting each other while she's walking down the Milan runway. It could be that also who would think that's what I would think. I don't know you know those two. We'll say but I'm Mike and Demi I mean could not be happier yeah. I'm so happy that I really hope I really hope it turns into something and they go on more dates me to that would be great right and I just feel like he's such a good guy so that would be exactly moving not the same scenes leaves then to summer has been great all of the summer barbecues eating out all these great restaurants but I am itching to get back into my routine. I'm ready to get back into my habit of eating. What's good for me eating healthy but finding finding time to look for recipes and get to the grocery store and meal prep and all that stuff is so overwhelming. We've all been there. We say we're going to eat healthy. We're going to get the right food. We're we'RE GONNA go grocery shopping and then the next week we just change and we go back to eating the way we were but we have helped now with daily harvest and that's what's great about Daily Harvest Daily Harvest makes it easier than ever to get back into the habit of eating more fruits and vegetables with thoughtfully source chef kraft food that can be prepared in less than five minutes. Let me think maybe opened the source yeah yeah yeah. That's a good idea fat kind of works. It does China remus enormous vast. I don't know if that's correct. We're GONNA stay tuned. Everybody's stay frigging tuned October tenth. One hundred episode get excited. Oh also before we get into the topics we did put up a new video on Youtube. Yes it is when tyler see crashed the podcast with Dylan so you check that out on video like subscribe. Please the links in the podcast file. Please like and subscribe to our Youtube and let's be honest we all know we want to watch that video instead listen but you're not wrong got no way no way that is that what is that is a two to one vote you are Oh. I almost said you're being overruled. ooh. You have to cut it now too late going into the topics. I mean you know let's get into the topics. We have lease Mike and Demi a huge update. Mike spills the beans on Demi Levato Caitlyn Miley Cyrus officially break up tristen is getting thirsty on Khloe Kardashian instagram Graham Jenna Dewan is pregnant Ashton Kutcher wrote a snarky tweet about not writing a snarky tweet and Dylan Dana's Jake Paul we'll get into a boxing match over Tanimoto and we have a great interview with Justin Hartley. Yes amazing. I absolutely love this is us and we had a great. It was a great time. It was a great time. Honestly is one of the more famous gentleman that we've had on this show. You keep saying that to me almost dig it. I I really really of doing it just to prove a point yeah. Let's get into the podcasts starting off with Mike and Debbie mission baby. The bad habits can this cat. It'd be nice to me. Take it easy now Sir No is the one who found this clip once again. I Want WanNa give him credit because it was a whole big not like fishing. No I know you're not but I'm giving it to you because I can't believe I would have never seen this and neither did friend and Trish shopping. You can see it. I didn't tell you because I thought you guys. Would it. Be Like your late like we already saw that. We watched like four different youtube videos. That's the one but they were all very enlightening like each separate video that showed us. Mike said something that was interesting in each one in each about Movado or being not being the bachelor or whatever it was confusing why noah so saw these videos and Weeden saw all of them and we didn't see any Li was like well. What about Mike's comments really what makes comments I would you all over all over wire like you can try and see if you didn't see it. I don't see I didn't see one thing only know Assad so shadow good to know it for doing his job yeah yeah but you know what this is what he did a great job you wish we saw all the videos and Demi Levato Auto Levada. She's amazing right went on a date with her. Tell us us about the state. You told us a couple of weeks ago that if you have a chance to take demi on a date you would take her to coffee. Was it kind of like that. I remember talking and we did not have coffee. We had dinner movie see we saw it scary. So you know it is very intense lies in your face I love. It wasn't one of those movies that she had a chance to like. Cut Up to you. Maybe so maybe not the second date in the work issue. Allow me to go in the second day with our love to Sir. She will vote uh-huh yeah but you did say that you were like exclusively not dating anyone else uh-huh. WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA no. I'm not looking at all my attention in his one hundred percent on EMI. I am single man for my attention Jimmy. She's the one that I text Fargo. The bill Burr. I love this guy first of all. He is just it's such a smiley teddy bear. I just want to give them a hug. If you watch these videos he looks so happy talking about Demi Levato and he obviously talked about the date every girl that interviewed him on this carbon. This was where the Iheartradio festival I think so it was like every interview that was on the carpet was hilarious because as each girl had the one point east girl had just such funny reactions like there was who was like ooh scary then I and I love that one was straight up flirting with yes totally on one was Camber Ken noblet more yeah. I mean when you're like. He want to get the questions out of them. Yeah exactly he gave them. He gave the answers and it seems like he's all in on Daniela which I love. It doesn't seem like you know they're they're. They're not moving too fast. They're still at those beginning. State is so it is what it is probably yeah. They're like obviously in different places so it's probably hard for them to be in the same place at the same time. Do you think Demi is upset. Not Upset me. We'll get annoyed that makes talking about this the media or do you think she's just like. What do you think that they talked about? It and W was like say whatever you want. I think that Mike is such a nice guy right that Demi levato bottles like he's just saying amazing things like cheap hobby if she were to see these videos how does she not watch it and smiles as Louis like she is so beautiful inside aside in out like he said the nicest thing right and this brings me to the point about Tyler Angie. This yes tyler said that digi our friends whatever and that's it we're just friends. She's amazing person. I don't WanNa talk about my relationship. I I kind of feel like ged does the type type of person that does get mad and Demi. LEVATO doesn't get mad but like kind of bigger than gee-gee hid yeah. I think it is our famous morph and I'm not saying it's any comparison but I'm just saying like when you're being talked about in the media yeah yeah yeah when it comes so what you're doing. It's different worlds. Obviously it is but I just I don't know like I really like how obviously if you don't WanNA relationship to be public. That's completely fair but I do like how Mike is like giving cute answers playing into it. He is a celebrity now he does these interviews for or reason yeah and yeah and I also want to say like a news to like make us think that something happened between Teasha and Mike during the iheartradio vessel and I was just like that knowing people were tagging on Instagram so I saw and when actually look look to the article was like rumors that they were getting cozy at the festival but then it was like just like it's wrong. Our sources say teasha is obviously still dating John Paul Jones and not just totally contradicted that like like like.

"Whatever i don't know their gender roles are assigned to each other and it's up to them how our saying is they are now so in a relationship in two days which is very different than like oh. We're settling down and have a baby. We're husband wife. You know from the what we thought thought that's all which is great. I love my lingala way more than i love brody and kahlons ago but i think miley gains couple is a match made in frigging hollow paradise hills hashtag on so in my caitlin was unhappy. It seemed like there was a lot of fighting going on between between them and stuff like that so it's like good as long as she's happy. That's all that matters like life is too short to live the way you want and enjoy the way you on time. I'm i'm happy for kaitlyn that she feels free to live how she wants and publicly especially because she wasn't wanting to be that way and unlike kind of hiding up part of her life on the hills and getting upset with people for talking about that so good for her to now just be open about that part of her lifestyle so publicly likely will we don't know yet how yeah i took me have a show that that was her pulling miley faces when they were walking on the poppers. 'cause i guess she was leaning over by the pool right to <hes> so yes. I'm very happy that she feels confident now with miley but what is interesting that on the season the hill so far that's aired and what we've shot but i know they're shooting more stuff now. Definitely there will be for sure airing in season one <hes> <hes> because they would only make sense here is that the her lifestyle change so one eighty and i think that needs to be najd because we had heard word that she had this lifestyle this was going on but it was so denied and made out like oh it was a rumor spread hussein in these things about us way. It was actually happening. You can't make it a conspiracy when you're doing things that then you openly publicly do it's a superstar but when the people didn't have the clout <hes> it's secret and we can't talk about boom seconds a superstar with one hundred million followers. That's beautiful full like hank who likes taking vacations. No me never hang. Do you have any you get one sentence right here. Why we i i i would like to clarify that. Ria was invited to be this week. I was and i said i couldn't come because oh just rea- the up and i said i go because us hangs parents were here well. They were when i invited rea- when i invited hank she thought that you were actually going to be on this weekend but she confused the week. I use the wiffle. I tournament weekends got. It got it so if i was going to be here though rea- wouldn't have been invited. No no i wouldn't have went problem. If if you were both available then you would have both been invited right exactly yeah all right. Thank you get one sentence right now about miley liam broady and caitlyn and what are your thoughts on the subject matter. The door is still open. Okay okay all right. We'll leave it at that. Thank you they. Yes okay moving on though if miley if i did it with a guy the doors closed uh-huh oh so you think that if miley started hooking up with another dude that liam would be like okay. I'm really out. No i think i mean i think liam is is just out in general because he just being with another person he. I don't think he can get past it. That's what i'm hearing rumors on. The street. Leandra can't get past having an open relationship with miley the understand right but it goes back to one thousand phase. It's over. How many phases can miley go through. She's already done that though yeah i think i think you only get two times and then well relationship. It's not a phase anymore but if she's happy with caitlin carter. I guess that's good but caitlin carter while i people and now re i really catch myself saying every time wild comes out of my mouth. I'm like off rant. Pick another word. Oh oh because i told you about that review yeah well. Whoever wrote that review we read it and fran is now self conscious. I'm trying so hard but i think we've already said like five times in this in this gordon. I just know that we're working on it. We're working on it trying so your final answer on this is that you think that they both split from their husbands and they got together and ran off tiddly yet 'cause i. It just seems like there with molly's sister also brandy and i would i think brandy the and kayla have been friends <hes> but i just it's what makes matters even just crazier crazier..

"We're going to the beach this weekend never really gotten to go to Malibu, which now is where I live. So I always have this full circle moment. Wow. Wow, incredible story. No. When you have spoken with other kids from the Disney juggernaut. Do they have similar stories? Do they talk about how it was Kismet? And how the was weird or dizzy kids get together and commiserate on shore. I've I'm wished I had more friends that I grew up with don't have many. And I think it's because and I don't know anyone really well enough to say, but I think I have a real joy and happiness doing what I'm doing. And I think there's some there's some people that maybe feel like there's a struggle to break out of what they've had. And they haven't had that acceptance yet. And I think it's because I may be wrong. I don't think they've partied hard enough could win you already really hard you go look everything got me to the I took a fucking break everyone else's so scared to take a break. And I think if you would take a minute and go enjoy yourself, you go all while my life is. So great. And I really think there's something into a therapeutic part of releasing let it go and stay up all night. You're looking for anybody. I see Rico at the air one. Oh. All this. No, I just had an epiphany. And I thought this before I just remembered the coffee if I did have a big Gladys a copy. The role that was built for you. And you actually, look like her is the jazz singer Anita day, you look like her you sound like her, and it is the role Miley Cyrus that will win you the academy. Mark my Senate here. I can I tell you this sense. The share episode the other week, I gotta find my gotta find my moonshot moment. I got find this moment. I have find some sort I love acting, but I wouldn't want to ever do it again. If it wasn't a character. I mean, I had this fantasy and I talked the Dalai about it all the time and bringing Jolie into real I have been talking about the love your talent. Thank you tell that story. But girl, don't you? Netflix deal is something I saw I do that's happening can produce when you leave here. I want you to look up Anita o'day. She was judging wildlife of wildlife and actually many people Madonna at one point many people have tried to get that story going. Yeah. But it's when you see pictures, you're gonna free. Yeah. You're gonna freak because you look like and you sound alike. So anyway, yes. So now, obviously you are on our show. I aside from Dolly Parton whose. Ever met. I live very charmed life. I realized that but I get sent a lot of shit. You know, you get sent a lot of crap on. You're just like and the thing that people ask like, we send you stuff like, yeah. You know, like the stuff that Miley? Get sent is on a different echelon get sent. Right. Probably. But yet you still got sent really cool stuff, and I sent really cool stuff. But I think it's really funny 'cause like we'll have boxes at the door every day and like the difference between the shit. I get and this shit. She gets it has a lot about. I think who we are. Yeah. I've been sent shout out to poop are- hook up with a lifetime to I love that. I have so much fucking poop ary. I know what to do with it for crystal. It's going into everyone stocking. You want to have a successful relationship. You get yourself. Some poop ary, right? You still? Oh, gosh. True. Hopefully areas the music. Tell me cripple albums came out the nights and seventy five today new album. Yeah. Did you see the video for it dripping yet the one I saw is ripping off the talking heads, which is my favorite band. Interesting. There's one of my favorite things in the world. Jonathan Demme directed what I consider to be the greatest rock video ever, the talking has everyone should go watch us, if you if you like music at all it's called stop making sense strict by Jonathan Demme who want an Oscar for Philadelphia, and like a bunch of their amazing movies and David Byrne is the lead singer of the talking heads scenes amazing. And so the nineteen seventy five ripped off basically a scene from that movie. Oh, I gotta say this. I have more respect for Matt Healy right now because of that you're saying, okay. Here's my question turning us on it's Miley Cyrus, Mark Ronson? Of course, nothing breaks. I gotta play. It went number one in the UK last night. I don't know if you knew yes now, we got to make it number one here now. So all this craziness aside when you to decide you do want to sit down and work together. Mark. I mean, you've produced some those amazing mazing people in you still will keep producing amazing people. What was it like to sit down with Miley and to get the ball rolling? It was amazing. I basically saw my singing on SNL fortieth anniversary seeing fifty AC leave your love. And I, you know, bang stuff. She had never heard her sing. And she did this real national version. I was just became obsessive for four years. He kind of liked try back and forth over text and never got together. And then I send this idea for the course, nothing breaks. And then she texted me back the next day after four years. I was like this must be the wrong number. This is not the same person. And and then she showed up this hour. I don't answer. I'm just very extreme. So I don't answer for four years. And then it's like, but we have to work. Now, we got something. But it really felt just so inspiring his actually crazy 'cause Mark was in Malibu, and I was on my way home. And so we were kind of in the same place in a dispute like at work down. Good timing, and we came in and and my vote all the verses like that same night because it's a, you know, my experience usually with good records uptown phone took eight months to finish. I could even believe that we got like a song finish the same night and put it Alan less than eight months. Okay. So if she's not here, and we asked you in the Renault microphones, what is the magic of Miley? What is it? She does better than anyone else. There's a there's a lot of things, but I would say well, first of all the voice. She like, it's just I remember sitting there listening while she wedding because we were just talking for three hours. Like I said, and then she went into like, oh look at the time. Maybe I should go sing now kinda like turned on a dime win and some like one of the best I takes ever had and just like the raw voice in Austin tizzy. And then also the lyrics. I mean everything and then now watching before that we were in London last week like what should perform to offense. I just I just I met like, my my friend is like this nice down person. I mean, the studio than we go out in the world. And I'm like, oh my God. Of course. She's a global superstar up star that people lose their mind. I think that's what's so cool about. So I think that was a very nice compliment sober, reverse it to work with a Mark Ronson. Yeah. There's no other ones until the okay?.
