"Greatest mechanics of all time. Birdie was a guy who'd be here and he'd come here and he said, what are you doing? Oh, he was doing the look pass before mahomes was. Dan, remember how I could do Dan Marino's cadence? Yeah. Let me show you one day when we're in live or maybe at the Super Bowl. I can give you Bernie kosar better, no number 20 can give you himself. Or was he at 20 and did Bernie 2019 of the pro 20 in college? Give the audience a little bit of your Dan Marino at the line of scrimmage. Well, you know how Dan, we hear all the sound now. One night teen and Aaron Rodgers came. Well, Marino was very simple. He was well ahead of it before the times he'd be like, Mike is right, Mike right? And he'd be licking his fingers about 14 times while he was saying it. Mike Wright popped back into gun and he'd say, Mike, Mike's 55. Down, sad. And we're on three. One 80. What is that?

"And the coaching staff sided that when they made the change to AJ swan, that and better third downplay, unlocking the passing game in third downs, knowing that you're going to be, if you're third and 5 plus, you can't make a living trying to run the football. Not that Mike Wright can't throw it, but wasn't as refined as a passer. But then you never, it never felt as if they were capitalizing on what they thought they were getting in the passing game from swan in that element where you're sustaining drives. And then Mike Wright, I don't I'm hard pressed to think how does Vanderbilt win that game without Mike Wright's playmaking ability and specifically as a runner, but from the quarterback position. So ugly play late could have lost the game for him. But the kids at playmaker and it does seem to me like he would be the guy that that would be the horse you ride the rest of the season because he was able to get you your first conference victory. That's a validating that's got to be internally a validating victory for coach Lee as invested as he is and you see the guy. He was emotional after the game. You could tell it meant a lot to him. But you have to imagine what it would mean to those to the kids. The players in the locker room. It's been a long walk in the desert for those guys. And I think Mike Wright was clearly a key component to that victory. No doubt. Plenty more. We're down to the final two weeks, but we covered a lot of ground. We haven't covered much lately. So yeah, I think we hit them all. I mean, there's bound to be other teams out there. You know, Missouri is playing a game this week and we didn't talk about them. That's only out of respect. They're still going to take the field, whether we talk about them or not. They'll still be out there. I mean, they look like a team and they're just so close, but at some point you have to win. Yeah, yeah, yeah, sniffing it, just being in and around isn't quite enough. I mean, losing tight games may be enough for the administration, but fans want to see wins. Yeah, they do. Fans are fans of greedy that way. They really are. I will say that Brady cook, and even in that game versus Tennessee, where I didn't, it didn't seem as if he was quite the runner, that he's proven to be really ever since that South Carolina game where you're like, man, this guy, he's more multi dimensional as a player than I thought, but it's been a tough season for the mizu tigers for sure. Matt, thank you. Always great to see you. Thanks for having me on, Paul. We still have fun in Colombia, man. Always. Yeah. It's a great town. Sneaky good town. I've got a good, I've got a really front row seat on the Shane train. Oh, do you? I'm all over

"Welcome back as fans here are excited about an undefeated Vanderbilt team. How about that? We'll talk to the Chancellor of this university and about 15 minutes. Our next guest. Certainly phi beta Kappa at his school. Chris doering, joining us to talk about the weekend's games. Hey, Chris. Good afternoon. Welcome. Good to be with you, Paul. How you doing? Thank you very much. We're doing great. Let's start with the most obvious game that I'm sure you've been hearing a lot about. And it's the transformation of the Kentucky Florida game and all the things that have changed. You live down there. I mean, how crazy has this week been? It's crazy right, just the transformation, as you mentioned, I mean, for so long, all we talked about with the domination by Florida 31 straight years of defeating Kentucky, and then all of a sudden, in the last four, you split two and two, including a win where Kentucky went to the swamp and showed that they could win under the lights in prime time there. So I don't think Kentucky's at all intimidated anymore by Florida. I think they go in and believe that they can play with the Gators and I do think things have even changed some from where I thought this game was gonna be in the preseason. You know, I famously amongst the Florida fans picked Kentucky to win it in the off season and that was because I thought Kentucky was going to be able to run the football a little bit better than what they did against Miami. I thought they'd be able to protect a little bit better than what they did against Miami of Ohio and I didn't think quite honestly that Florida's offense would be quite as good and quite as dynamic as they looked and a lot of people want to talk about Anthony Richardson, but it wasn't just him. I was surprised Paul, but the offensive line, I thought they were more physical than what I expected in the running backs. They were a nice compliment to what Anthony Richardson did on the ground. So I think these things have changed a lot since we kind of looked at it back in July when we were at SEC media days. So has it changed enough to change the outcome and see the Gators start off two and O. You know what? I did not at all believe that they would be able to do it. I know there's been some shuffling on the offensive line and no horse he's back for Kentucky, but for whatever reason, I think Florida is going to win this game. And I think it comes down to that Florida defensive line against Kentucky's offensive front. I think that's the one deficiency for Florida. I think that's the Achilles heel is they're not up to what you would expect typically from a Florida defensive front. You go back and look at that second half of the game between Utah and Florida last week. They gave up almost 7 yards of carry in the second half. I think that indicates that they were over a size, and I think that they were very thin and starting to get fatigued. But the one thing that will hurt Kentucky this week, no Chris Rodriguez, the running back room was pretty much been decimated, which is crazy to think about with all the talent there, but I think that's the matchup within the match up that's going to decide the game. I'm going to give Florida the edge there. South Carolina and Arkansas, we all know the backstory here, the gamecocks have a shot next week with a win here to host where they're going to host Georgia, whether they want to or not, but the enthusiasm for that game would go through the roof of the win. Are they going to get one in razorback land? You know, Paul, it was great to be in Columbia last week. I got a chance to call that game against Georgia state and all of the talk in the off season was about Spencer Rattler. Well, the storyline was that the defense and special teams dominated that game in the offense was actually not as big of a factor, primarily because of the offensive line issues that they had. All 5 starters return and all off season we were told how much better that group was going to be, but Spencer Rattler was under constant pressure the entire night never really got a chance to set his feet and throw. And I think it's a shame because there's a lot of talent. I think the most talent in the skill positions around the quarterback that South Carolina has had in a long time. But that is all a moot point if you can't protect. The biggest plays he made were scramble plays where I was able to keep it on the run and make some guys miss and allow receivers to uncover. So I think the difference is that very Odom's defense. They were flying around last week against Cincinnati. I think the ball carriers for Cincinnati averaged like .26 yards before contact, and that does not bode well against the Carolina offensive line that really was not good in past protection or run blocking last week. So I'm going with Arkansas on this one, Paul. Tennessee and Pitt in Pittsburgh. This is my favorite game of the weekend. You know, ironic because I think that lost last year to pit was something that didn't sit well with the fans and said, well, with the players, it's one they felt like they could have had and let get away. But ironically, that was the change in the trajectory of this team. That's where we saw hinden hooker get inserted into the starting role from there, that offense has just been rolling. In fact, the last four ball games they've scored at least 45 points or more. I just don't see pit being able to one slow them down because of the tempo and the execution that the offense has. But two, I don't think they're going to be able to score with the Tennessee balls. I think they just got too much offense and this one gets a little bit of a reserve revenge served to the folks from Pitt. Why don't you other games before we get to the big one here in Nashville? Mississippi got a late game at Arizona, this game a little bit hard to figure out what have you figured out on this game. Two weeks in a row, right? I mean, I think Mississippi states suffering from what a lot of PAC 12 teams suffer from and that's not people here on the east coast being able to watch them because of the game ending so late due to weather last week. Will Rogers was amazing through the ball 49 times completed 78% of those passes, including 5 touchdowns. He's got a bunch of weapons around him that even though they're young by years, they've played a lot of football together. They played a lot of football in this offense and it's fun to watch the rhythm and everybody being on the same page. This thing's kicking it all cylinders right now. And I just don't think that Arizona is going to be able to score with what Mississippi state can do. Now obviously there's a great storyline with the quarterback for Arizona having committed to Mike leach at Washington state before leach left for starkville. But I just don't think as much as they probably improved in jet fish's second year there in Tucson. I don't think that they have the offense to score with what Mississippi state will be able to put up. And finally, the game here in Nashville, a chance for Vanderbilt to go three and zero on the season, Chris doering, you're going to make these fans happy or are you going to ruin their night? Yeah, this is the best story of the year so far for me. I mean, we were in Atlanta at media days. We heard all of these players talking about playing championship football. I think a lot of us laughed about that, but that's exactly what they've been doing. I mean, they've completely changed what they've done dynamically on offense and Mike Wright has a lot to do with that. Ten touchdowns in the first two ball games of the season. We know about his athleticism and speed. I think the thing to me though is the resiliency. We're in the past things have happened poorly for vandy and it's been a downhill spiral. I think

"It's really what you're kind of leaning on in terms of bringing that young defense up to speed throughout the season. We're talking to Bryce Smith. What's the vandenberg hustle or very prestigious campus publication, a lot of well-known celebrities and stars, tutored there. Let's talk a little bit about you for a second, Bryce, what brought you to Vanderbilt and ultimately, what would you like to do in the industry? Yeah, so obviously, like you mentioned Vanderbilt's a great school, I really, when I was looking for schools, wanted to get a good combination of the academics, but also big athletics and obviously being in the SEC Vanderbilt has the best of both Nashville doesn't really get any better than that. I've had a great time there over my four years. And for me, in high school, you know, I was involved with a number of different publications, so I knew that sports journalism was something that I wanted to pursue and Vanderbilt. There's really a lot of great opportunities to do that and like you mentioned over the past couple of years, we've had some really fine and great people come out of our newspaper. So for me, it's really just taking this time to grow and kind of develop within this role last year I got to last drag out to kind of understudy Justin Hershey in the year before that Simon Gibbs. Two guys who have done a really great job in this sports editor role. And then gone on to different places throughout the industry, whether it be ESPN or fox or the athletic, so yeah, I just really want to use this year to kind of grow and figure out how I'm going to make my mark on the industry. In Bryce, I've met both of them and they really are bright young guys that I'm keeping a close watch on them and so are a lot of people from the industry and we will do the same for you. Okay, we're not letting you out of here without some predictions. And in the past, it's been pretty easy. I think this is a more complicated slate because you've indicated there's a case that could be made for a really fast start for Vanderbilt, which is something that they desperately need. So what do you think overall as we look at the schedule here on the screen? Yeah, so I think like you mentioned a chance for a fast start here. And a little bit different than years past when you're just hoping to get, you know, maybe a win part two. My big thing for Vanderbilt in 2022 is maybe trying to get that third or fourth win. On the schedule and for the first time since 2019 making one of those an SEC win, so I think starting out two zero for sure will be vital. And then the Sam Hartman news for wake forest that kind of changes everything and hopefully will give Vanderbilt a chance and that game three you go up to northern Illinois to finish out the non conference portion of the schedule and then last year towards the end of the year like we talked about with Mike Wright, Vanderbilt was able to have a punching chance against some of those teams on the back end of the schedule. So if they're able to get one of Missouri, South Carolina, I'll put in Florida there this year and knock one of those guys off. I think that would be a really successful season for Clark Lee in year two. Bryce, thank you for being here. We will likely see you guys pretty early on in the calendar. So make sure that we can hook up again when we get to campus. And you continue great success following some big footsteps. A pleasure to have you on. Thanks so much, Paul. It was our pleasure. Bryce Smith, joining us from the hustler, the Vanderbilt school of publication. And we are heading to a break, final 30 minutes or straight ahead. "We have got some time here to kick back with Roman Harper as the hits keep coming on this top 40 radio station. Roman, I feel like I've spent the last two days with you up here in the world. We have spent a lot of time together. And you've heard a lot more than I have, because after a while, I do have to just go down to a local watering hole and have a few pops. But I'm a football side of it, which is certainly your specialty. What are you, what are you picking up? What are your vibes on the way this thing looks? Well, number one, as a former player that did SEC mere days. I want to look at all the player swag first. I want to see who's the best dressed. I want to see because that kind of is a way to kind of look into the personality of the player. I think South Carolina had a player earlier was very well dressed. He looked like he was from South Florida or he had the bright colors, so I'm like, that has to be a defensive back. Then, you know, we had some other guys, Mike Wright, for the Vanderbilt had a great we just saw had a great outfit on things like stop you here because I'm with you every weekend and nobody looks like you do. And of course nobody has your money, either. But that's too correct answers, Paul. These are young guys who I was about to say, they're just, they're hardworking. That has changed, it's no longer that. Let me back up in 2022. But what is the definition for us elderly people? Of swag. Swag is just like, man, it's an attitude. It's a personality. It's a person. It's like when somebody walks in, they just have this aura around them. It's the way they carry themselves the way they talk. Does the shoes match the drip, which is nothing but their clothing or what you have on. You know, a lot of young kids now, they don't even wear the socks. There's no signs. There's no socks. A lot of people that share with this desk don't wear that. Yeah, you know, they got to have the ankles out. Make sure your ankles are not ashy. So all these things matter. I look at all that. I judge it all when I'm looking at anybody's total swag and they're hold appearance. And also, when you look good, you feel good when you feel good, you play good. Like I believe I got that quote from Deion Sanders. And it is a 100% true. When I was a former player, I love to dress up nice. I love to have a chains. I love to have my glasses on inside the building. Just because you think you're cool, you know? And so it's all about how you carry yourself in the approach of going to the game and doing whatever it is. I mean, you're a guy that told me a story last fall that really got into a fight before a game. Over some ridiculously minor slight. So can you talk about when you walk out there and you see when you should have acted like he didn't know me then? That was his fault. He started that, Paul. You know that. Don't get me back. We'll pick that up again. And I had pads on at that point. When you guys are dressed up and then you see the other guys. The other team. What are you looking at? That guy's an 1000%. If I saw a guy, especially when I was playing, it was a couple of different things. All right, if I saw a running back with no gloves, you better watch out. This guy has reckless abandonment going downhill. Nobody wants to tackle that guy. No gloves, no wrist tape. I'm a little nervous about that guy. I'm like, that guy doesn't care about anything else. Now, when I saw guys with like a little bit of swag like his tapes and he was looking too pretty, I'm like, I'm not really worried about him too. He's too much about his parents appearance. So he's not really worried about the game. His mom's one other thing. It's amazing that we put all these thoughts into the things that don't even matter. You're yelling at somebody else worried about their appearances. I mean, yeah, I mean, you gotta, I mean, I'm back home. Look at that inside. You see the guts on that thing, Paul? Look at that. You know, it's all about the little things fall. You know, I'm back home from me back in the south. I got to look like I just got fresh out the pulpit this morning. That was my look over I was going with it. Well, I mean, I like it because I had a mother when I was a growing, I mean, she dressed me in flashy stuff. And I finally got away from it. Because I got to a point where I was so disliked. I did not want to call attention to myself. Correct. So by being generic, you were not walking in anywhere. So Paul, I was the opposite because I didn't get a lot of attention, you know, I had an older brother who commanded all this attention. He was the big ballplayer and needed this that and other. I was, I needed to do something to stand out. So what's one thing I can control? Also playing defense my whole life. I need to do something to stand out because everybody pays attention to the ball. I don't have the ball. So what can I do? I can dress a little bit flashier. I can rock my socks just a little bit differently than everybody else. Be like, who is that guy with this kind of those are the little things that you try and do as a defensive player to try and stand out? And of course, I carried on to the next level. Not only is it my hair gray, my beard's great, but my suit game is nice. When you were playing college players weren't being paid, excuse me. College players weren't able to get a little spending money. It's the correct step. My question is this. I've been around a lot of Alabama pre games. I didn't see what they're wearing here today. The suits are very nice. Now, there are certain suit guys and things of that nature in Tuscaloosa who are willing to give you certain looks and different things for a couple, you know, hold on. In the community? Possibly so if you want to get it's people that have nice suits. Back in the day, I mean all these guys have been around. You were locked on. You could walk into a nice place. These custom guys have been around for a long time. Now, the suits are cut differently. So now they look a little bit nicer. They look like they fit a little bit better instead of the rack. What were you paying for these suits? Or were you paying at all? Nepal, we don't have to talk about the details. That's all in the agreement. What is agreed upon? It is a fact. I can not talk about probation after you were there. I don't know the exact agreement to what everybody agreed to, but you know. Is it still in existence for when Roman played it out of that? We're checking right now. Well, you know, Paul, the funny thing is, is that Alabama guy in trouble, even when Nick Saban got there for some things that happened when I was on campus. And so because of that, I technically never won a game when I was at Alabama. They took away those four wins just so they wouldn't affect Nick Saban and what he was doing. So it is what it is. I lost four years of wins and it's fine. My suits were nice then too. I'm not leaving here until we get an answer. We'll take a short break. We're coming right back. "Here. Can not wait for SEC media days coming up on Monday. Big 12 media days get started. I think tomorrow. So talking season is here in full force. All the players that are going to be in Atlanta next week for fans have been announced. We'll get to that list momentarily. Talk a little Georgia bulldogs coming up in a little while as well. And maybe even hear from Nick Saban, his thoughts recently on the mega conferences that are taking over college football. So a lot of stuff still to do in this final hour. Now I was looking at the media projections in Atlanta or for media days in general over the last since 1992, basically. And the media has picked Alabama to win every championship since 2013 except for one. When auburn was picked in 2015 to win the SEC and they finished 7th in the west. In true auburn fashion. Auburn, of course, we picked 7th in the west this year probably and probably go undefeated or some crazy nonsense like that. Because that's what auburn does. So what makes him entertaining, frankly? But Alabama has been picked each of the last 6 seasons. And the media has been right about who's going to win the SEC championship. 5 out of the last 7 years. So the media has gotten it right now. Picking Alabama is not very hard. I understand. But the media has gotten it right. 5 of the last 5 of the last 7 years at SEC media day. So we'll see what happens next week. I imagine Alabama Georgia overwhelming favorites to win their divisions. Can you argue Georgia belongs as the defending champ? Are they getting slighted? Are we just Alabama's too good? The best offensive player in college football the best defensive player in college football. Nick Saban's teams always do well after a bad quote unquote bad season, a bad season for Bama, of course, losing in the national championship game. But you know what I mean? The motivating factor that they use normally to come back the next year and go full scorched earth on college football. He's been pretty good about that. Alabama on paper looks like the better team. Georgia loses a record 15 players to the NFL Draft. It will be interesting next week to see who, exactly, what the votes look like between Alabama and Georgia. And frankly, who else has even got a chance? Who else is even considered? As an opportunity to win their division, is it Tennessee, Kentucky in the east? It's clearly a and M as the top challenger, but then who's next? Arkansas, Mississippi state LSU, Ole miss. How good is Florida going to be so much to discuss next week in Atlanta going to be a ton of fun. And lots of great players, 7 different quarterbacks are going. Bryce young, of course, will be there for a while from Alabama KJ Jefferson will be there from Arkansas. We'll levis will be there from Kentucky, a guy who's grading out as a first round potential prospect in the NFL. I think it's very interesting that Mike Wright is going to be their quarterback at Vanderbilt, who is in the middle of a battle with Ken seals. I think that's an interesting development that he's going to be in Atlanta next week representing Vanderbilt. I think it's very interesting that Anthony Richardson has gotten the nod from Billy Napier to go be a representative for Florida media days. As a sophomore, only three sophomores are under only three underclassmen are going to be there next week talking to the media. For a lot of reasons, generally when you're a senior, you earn it, sometimes you're not as media savvy. There's a lot of reasons. You're not really a starter when you're a freshman very often, at least that we know of. So it's just very unusual for that to happen. But Anthony Richardson getting the call from Billy Napier to go. Not only it appears, solidifying himself as the starting quarterback and the leader of the Gators offense. But also mature enough to handle being the spokesperson for the entire university next week. I think that's a big, I think that's a big move by Billy Napier, to give Anthony Richardson that level of responsibility. And I for one am excited about it. I can't wait to hear from these guys. Because again, frankly, these are the best part. This is the best part of the media experience next week. Are the players getting to learn and know the players? Hinden hooker is going to be there as well for Tennessee at quarterback. So 7 quarterbacks going to be there. The one I have not mentioned, of course, if you're counting at home. Is the one that seems to drive the most conversation? And I think it even still drives conversation inside of his own fan base. And I do not understand that Georgia fan who still thinks that there is something left for steps in benet to prove. I do not understand. Stetson Bennett will be there next week with a hopefully in my God, I hope he does this. With a giant ring on his finger. To show to all of us in the media just exactly why he was the starting quarterback the entire season. It's one of those weird bizarre narratives and I will put my hand up and be accounted for and be guilty that I was just as bad as the next guy saying wait a second, this other guy's more talented way to second he does more with the offense wait a second. JT Daniels JT Daniels JT Daniels. Now stetson Bennett went out and averaged ten yards per attempt, one of the most efficient seasons in school history, the offensive evolved, they threw the ball more. They threw the ball almost a hundred times more last year than they did the year before at Georgia. So the offense under Todd monk can clearly evolved. The way everyone was asking Kirby smart to evolve. I mean, he didn't do anything stupid. He had the best defense in 40 years, but stetson Bennett got the job done. And I still I'm still shocked that stetson Bennett gets, I don't want to say disrespect. But the guy's not a game manager. This is a guy who runs around, makes plays with his legs, throws the big touchdown pass against Alabama when they needed it most. Was extremely efficient, made big plays for Georgia last season. Now, is he one of the best three or four quarterbacks in the SEC? No, he's not. I don't have him. I probably would have him at number 7, for example. But doesn't mean he doesn't deserve to be considered. Among the country's best players at that position on a team that is going to have as good a chance to win the national championship as anybody in college football. Two things can be true, folks, and it is important that we remember this. In all walks of life, two things can be true. Stetson Bennett is underrated, disrespected, and needs to be talked about more highly with people like me in the media and with fans. He's also not better than Bryce young or henin hooker or KJ Jefferson or Will Rogers. He might not even be better than Anthony Richardson or will levis. He might be the fourth best quarterback in his own division. That doesn't change the fact that he's very, very good. What it says to me is that the SEC has as good a quarterback situation as it's had in ten years minimum. 2013 is the last year I look at and I go, man, that collection of dudes under center in the SEC was awesome. It's dak Prescott, Aaron Murray, James Franklin, Zach mettenberger, Johnny manziel, I mean, the list of guys that

"Is Braden Gaul filling in for Paul. Honored to be here this week. Hanging out with you guys talking season less than a week away next Monday. We get things started in college football. The way they deserve to be started. Although the big 12, I believe, is getting started right now. Today, tomorrow, I think tomorrow may be in terms of media days across the country. So we are in full swing, talking season starting this week and next. Of course, the SEC in Atlanta coming up next week. The player list has been announced. We'll get to that in just a second. Also, I'd like to know I was arguing with my buddies about favorite towns and uniforms and stadiums in the SEC and I was trying to tell them, no, no, listen, guys, you can't pick your favorite school where you graduated as your favorite. Give me something else you love about the SEC. What are some of the other uniforms and stadiums and towns you enjoy visiting? My answer, auburn. I like LSU's uniforms. I like auburn the town and I like Sanford stadium. It would be my three votes in the SEC. So if you're going to call 855-242-7285, I'd like to know what your favorites are in the SEC that don't have anything to do with your favorite team. It doesn't seem that complicated. That's not your favorite team. The players that are going 7 quarterbacks will be in Atlanta next week. Bryce young, of course, for Alabama, hen and hooker for Tennessee, KJ Jefferson for Arkansas. They will be there next week. Of course, you've also got Mike Wright at Vanderbilt is going to be there, which is some insight into maybe how Clark Lee is feeling about that quarterback battle. You've got Anthony Richardson going for Florida, the quarterback who is only a sophomore, one of only three sophomores that will be in Atlanta next week on media days. I think that is a huge statement of belief by Billy Napier in his star sophomore quarterback to send him to Atlanta on media days to represent the university of Florida. I think that is a bold statement and I think it says a lot about where they are with Richardson because I think he is like, listen, I know we wore number 15 and I know he's had that run past thing. Shades of Tim Tebow and you watch him play even though he's bigger. I just think he is a super freak of an athlete and if he's in Atlanta as a sophomore, to me that says Anthony Richardson is your starting quarterback for the Florida Gators moving forward as if there was any doubt. But I think Billy Napier put all that doubt to rest. Will levis, of course, for Kentucky, gonna be there as well with major expectations around that Kentucky team, new offensive coordinator, Mark stoops, has a great offensive line coming back and a really good defensive line crop of players recruits from 2020 that should be stepping into starting roles to try to reload that defensive line for Kentucky. So I'm fascinated to see that. And of course, the guy that no one talks about. When we rank quarterbacks, when we rank quarterbacks in the SEC or around the country, it seems like we go down the list and we always forget about this guy. And I think he gets a bad rap for being this quote unquote game manager. He's a better athlete than that. You look at his yards per attempt up around ten, 11 yards per attempt as a passer. One of the nation's most efficient players and oh, by the way, a national champion stetson Bennett will be in Atlanta next week as well for the Georgia bulldogs. So I think stetson Bennett just kind of gets lost in the shuffle. Are there still Georgia fans? Here's what's fascinating. Are there still Georgia fans? Like what percentage are there still like 10% of you that's like, yeah, I don't know, maybe JT Daniels could have could have beaten Alabama in Atlanta too. There's still some of you that are worried about that and bothered by that or you guys all just moved along and moved on and said, no, no, no, no. Stetson's our guy. Man, that was unfair for a while, right? Listen, I'll be guilty. I was one of them. I'll put my hand up and be accounted for. I always thought JT Daniels was the mortality player. It should have been starting, blah, blah, blah, blah, feeding the narrative. I was guilty of that. But man, the offense evolved last year for Georgia. So stetson Bennett going to be there. We'll see what the offense does this year because I would argue that Georgia, we know how great the defense is. I think you could argue Georgia has the greatest collection of tight ends. We've ever seen in college football history, and that would include that would include the Miami hurricanes of the early aughts, which would be what, like Kelvin Winslow and Jeremy shockey on the same team. Like that's insane. They have three dudes that are almost as good. I mean, Bowers is a freak. So however Todd monken wants to use those tight ends. Stetson benet will get them the football. And they all do different things, right? Gilbert Washington and Bowers. It's going to be a lot of fun. Georgia's office is going to be a lot of fun. So we'll talk with stetson Bennett coming up next week as well. I thought interesting again, 7 quarterbacks going. I thought it was interesting that Mike leitch decided just to just to pick three graduate seniors only graduate seniors for Mike leech. That's so unbranded. I don't even know what to say. I appreciate that. Will Anderson Jordan battle going to be there for Alabama. Those are two first team all SEC defensive players. At least two guys I'll be voting for next week. Jalen Catalan bumper pool for Arkansas, along with KJ Jefferson that Arkansas team is going to be a very, very hot topic next week. LSU Arkansas, Mississippi state, ulnas, that group of teams in the west is going to be a very hot topic next week. Auburn bringing tank bigsby a star tailback, first team all SEC player, Derek hall, first team all SEC edge rusher for auburn as well. Samuel schenker there the tight end going to go for auburn. So there's a lot of star power.

"Paul Rudd does not age. No. Oh my God, that man is so handsome. Yes. But that baby in that scene is 15 years old right now. Can you believe that? That's crazy. Oh my gosh, wild. Can be a guest tomorrow. Up next, lizzo and her man just made their red carpet debut and you know I was there for it. I took this picture right here. Plus Chris Pratt's telling us all about doing stunts and heels. You don't want to miss this daily pop. So Lonnie, I hear you got to hang with our girl, lizzo this weekend. It's about Tam time. Tell us everything. I know. I was so excited. I actually moderated her wife C event for her new show on Amazon Prime called watch out for the big girls. And how cute you look? Oh, you know what? It was so fun. Oh, I need that. Her and I, that's Valentino head to toe that she had on. And we set for an hour. And when I say we talked and we cried and we showed clips of her show and she was there with her boyfriend, Mike Wright, and he is such and this is the thing you know how people get a little like when they don't really know you, they kind of like, so he comes into the green room, he really don't know me, you know, and I said, yeah, and I said, yeah, because in Detroit, he's awake. You're from Detroit? Yeah. And he parks right up. If we started doing shots and everything and he's such a nice and you can tell that it's a genuine love that they have for each other. So I'm just very happy for her. This actual show on Amazon Prime is for her to find some dancers. Because she's growing as her tour. She has like 8, but she needed another ten, and so she decided to do a comedy competition. And this is the thing about lizzo. She cares enough that she's sticking true to who she is. She wants plus size women. She wants to help them. And you think, you know, that's not that many plus size there's so many plus size dancers out there. And she's giving her an opportunity. So great job. I had a great time. Now, what would happen if dinosaurs really roamed the earth? Um, you'll find out in Jurassic World Dominion, Justin got the claws out with the cast to talk dangerous dinah, dinos, scary stunts, and high heels. You know, I just have to get my nails done today. Yeah, it looks good. It looks really good. Right? Yeah. Yeah. Now when I heard you guys were bringing the OGs back, I thought you meant the beige heels. I bought the ticket to see the beige. Yeah, no, well, you will be gravely disappointed. If you, if you came to dimini and to see me and yell, 'cause it doesn't happen. Not once. Could you ever do a stunt? I can't tell so hard to talk to you with the reason. Go ahead, go ahead. Good. Could you ever see yourself doing a stunt with those heels on? That's hard work. Me? Yeah. For sure. You could do it. You think you can. I've seen him run in heels. It's true. I'm dead serious. I've seen him run in heels that were the size of his feet. Which those are some big heels. Yeah. Give me some pumps in 13 and I'll prove to you. He's an athlete. Everybody hold on to somebody. I went to see the movie and there's this moment. He ranked the SEC east QBs and who does he have at the top? How about hand in hooker? Spencer Rattler stetson Bennett, levis, AR-15, Brady cook. How about that name in Mike Wright? That's according to John Adams of the Knoxville news sentinel. Lane kiffin? He has a game this weekend. And will this be the biggest test of lane kiffin's head coaching career today, according to an article? New quarterback. New D.C., new kiffin. Lincoln's still talking about himself. What is surprising about that? Sometimes life throws you a curve ball. As much as my family and I love Norman and cherish the I'm already seeing the BS coming out of this quote. The success we were having on the field, sometimes life throws you curve balls. At the most unexpected times, honestly, I always figured I would end my coaching career at OU, but when my agent blame it on the agent called to pass along interest in USC, I was immediately intrigued by the possibilities. Forget the fact that he was already negotiating with LA Shu and who knows who else Lincoln Riley do not expect anyone in America to believe that horse that horse chapel. Oscar she boy announced today that he is coming back for another year. What about it? Oscar. I'm a person who I don't make a decision. A bed is what I think is good for me. So I think in most of the time I pray for it and it has to be guided what it is good for me I can do. So we've been in fasting and praying with my family, my mom, everybody. To try and ask a guy for decision to help us. So I asked a guy, you have brought me I became the national player of the year. I became every way by why my name is none of the first one. I always wanted to be a lot of repeat top 2015, but I had a guy so why I'm not there yet. So God has told me he's not done with me yet, so I decide and he told me like he would want me to go back and just walk because he's not done with me in this place here. So I'll be back again so I'll be here next year for Kentucky I would be in the blue and taking next year again. More in I L news. I didn't hear that. That guy was one took over the line if you asked me. I've got an NAL question, but I have to tell you yesterday's show is very entertaining. My daughter comes by Tuesday and Thursday and she says, did you hear Amy? And I said, yeah. Oh man. She's smoothly, she moves smoothly more from Peter to an acronym for Richard and she was enough before you knew it happened. Yeah, I got snookered on that one. And started dabo, and then the fashion critic cat daddy turned your finely tailored pinstriped suit known as the Don or mafia down to tear into a burial outfit. And I want you to know Jackie that right before I came in today, I stopped by the goodwill drop off and that suit now sleeps with the fishes. And Jim's evil twin returned. They wrote me a receipt for the value of it. The guy said, well, I'll be generous. She seemed like a nice guy. I'll go 25 bucks. Buy you a cup of coffee. And then Jim's evil twin returned after having what I thought was a really respectful nice call with the archbishop last Friday. I want to say this about Jim, and I think I got a little bit taken away with one of the other callers, but I'm glad Jim did call in at the end of the show because it was only right that I expressed to him what the archbishop told me and the archbishop was sincere about the conversation. As was Jim in his conversation with him, yeah, I agree. And if he practiced the Bible and turned the cheek or returned someone takes a poke at him, he wouldn't be the show spinata. It's just my feeling on Jim. Well, and by the way, thank you for making that last stop at good Friday. So special with the archbishop. Thank you very, very much, John. You'd be well. You take care of yourself. Mac is up next in Baltimore. Hello Mac. Hey, Paul. Happy Wednesday. I hope you're doing well today. We are, thank you. I know that you got Jay Bellas coming on. So I was hoping if you could ask him, you know, she would return and Kentucky fans got to be excited. He's a returning national player of the year. But in recent history, most teams that make a deep run and even win the national championship are not revolved around a stud center or big man. Right. In my opinion, I think that this commitment really just means that Kentucky isn't winning the national championship next year. There have a good year could repeat his SEC player of the year, but you know, the tournament goodbye. You can't win with him. Yeah, I'm really glad he's coming back. He seemed very sincere in what he said. There's a lot of speculation in the bluegrass tonight that he is going to profit from it. And why not? He deserves it. He is the real deal, but she way coming back is not going to get Kentucky to the final four. They need a lot more than that. I think that him coming back means that a 100% they aren't, you know, regardless of the way I can't make that statement. I mean, I could probably, I could probably say you're right based on Kentucky's track record in recent years. We'll talk to Jay. He knows a lot more about it than I do. John Adams is coming up in a minute, John Q Adams will join us talking about hindon.

I said it wasn't it wasn't a big. Yeah most likely a wish. He were on a different team. Most likely to wish you were on a different team. Kenny golladay alan robinson or ahim mostert. Mike you can go sir really. Never they never get to never get that much work. They split all the time. Those niners backs. I will say most. I'll say kenny golladay just like if things start going bad in new york that's i. I don't know how human beings can handle that. You're getting salted now. Just by new yorkers but you're also getting assaulted by all new york media because now your fault and new jersey people to yeah jaime garcia robinson most most likely to wish you were on a different team. I just like the mice continuing the theme hayden on the go robinson you should put one of the raiders running back there instead of said most. Oh yeah yeah all right well okay. Good call most likely to be drafted in the first two rounds in two thousand. Twenty two t higgins lamar jackson. Dj more tee higgins the mark jackson. Dj more jamie twenty twenty two next year. Yeah okay. I go higgins. What was the last name. Dj more higgins the mark jackson. dj more. You most likely would most likely would be tee higgins but dj more men with Samuel out of the way. Dj more did anyone have a quieter yet awesome year the dj more fantasy football. Well but that's why. I would love to know where he comes out on your consistency chart because that was the shirt with. I can try and pull some so. He was a victim of high expectations to you know. I think that was part of his. That everybody was in. The industry was touting. Dj more this is gonna be the year he blows up in robby anderson had the fast start in. Curtis samuel had the finish and dj. More was just kind of victim of as good but he just didn't live up to my god. He's good but fifteen games. He put twelve hundred yards. He was always the touchdowns within though. I mean that's the only four. Yeah when you think about this. If a team through thirty three touchdown passes that wouldn't be. That would be pretty reasonable this day and age in the nfl. And that's how many the panthers have thrown in their last two seasons combined and he has oh and he has eight of them so he's not catching a lot of touchdowns but they've thrown like seventeen and sixteen touchdowns. I remember the breakdown but thirty seventeen in two thousand nine hundred sixteen twenty twenty. It's he's got like twenty five percent of their of their touchdowns basically and It's just they just don't throw enough so well. I think one thing that i was changes. That and there. You know in the trademark shawn watson not to overlook anything that's going on with him off the field but if he's a member of the carolina panthers and everything is fine than dj more can have that type of season that makes him a first round..

"Jamie good with that all right all right. This is where it gets fun. kenny golladay to the giants. Mike ho- man. I'll go with a disalvo with a c. Plus i don't know the numbers speak kindly for daniel jones and the his his deep all accuracy was one of the most accurate passers when going twenty plus yards down the field like a very excellent pro football focus grade on those throws as well so we know that that match exists but it remains to be seen remains to be seen if daniel jones is going to be starting in two years okay so c plus. That was yesterday jamie. Yeah i was gonna say. See i mean like we talked about. I think it's It's one of those things where you're hopeful that daniel jones can maintain gol days value that he gives them the chance to kind of do some of the same things they do with matthew stafford. But you have to see it. I and i think that's the the unknown for it. So yeah the hard part you have to. You have to see it. You'll just have to jump into. You'll you'll have to decide if you find what the the draft. Adp or not. And i we haven't seen like we haven't seen daniel jones with the true number one wide receiver does he. Does he go into force. Feed mode saying oh i know. Kenny golladay is gonna come down with this or does he just keep spreading the ball out because he has goodish players around. Besides kenny golladay. There just hasn't been enough of a stretch for danone and this is predicament for the giants. As you're obviously well aware atom of healthy saquon healthy receiving core competent offensive line. Daniel jones the started. We just don't know what this whole puzzle will look like so you know it could be great. They couldn't up being the best team in the nfc east. And keep that streak alive. There you go back to back winners. I never read this yesterday. We were talking about the giants offensive line yesterday. But this is from the new york post andrew. "I don't know if you can say that because there's the key has a habit of losing his job to backup quarterbacks and so i can't guarantee that won't have a but he is going to be like every week. When you're giving your your streaming quarterbacks of the week the the top of that list is could be ryan fitzpatrick. You have to do any sort of starts it scenario. He is the perfect guy. Patrick or the sky. 'cause he will no no. I'm saying as as we you're writing a column or have to do those things because he won't be rostered enough that you have to say it's obvious but it'll be right in that little gray area. We say every week you know you guys are missing. You gotta start ryan fitzpatrick. He's gonna light up the giant for four touchdowns this week. all right. Next up new orleans gives new contracts to jameis winston and taste hill a double grade here. Can i just say an f. But i don't know who gets four again. Who do you want to see win. It genius winston but that is just purely selfish. Because i held him dynasty roster through through the the entire year just going this is a waste of spot and i really hope that james turns into the starter for the saints. Did the same thing on on on a dynasty league that so we did a dynasty startup in the office about five years ago. Or so and adam didn't want to take part in it but he had to look at the results for the show so he is on the team with me we we we good but purely just keep them on there so he has to get all the alerts so it's only reason he's the one it's so annoying but every now and then like i could i could if i wanted to make trade offers for jamie. St things like that but our team is so good including raw string famous winston for. I do think. I changed the spelling of your name and i don't think you realized yes i could have different different league. That for sorry. Are you moving on here. Let's go to aaron jones. Aj green and we were a very divided office on on aj green coming into town of like it's hard to spin aj green as positive of you. The statistics like look at the beginning. You know all. He was getting all area arts. He was receiving all. But look at all these uncatchable targets that. At green was receiving okay. Well at a point. Was it aged. Greens fault that these were not catchable targets because everyone else on the team seemed to be able to get open and do well with joe burrow's oh that's We were very pump for rodney. Hunts hudson after eight green kind of left me scratching my head out of the fantasy angle though. "But there's another field stretcher so the fact that the not you can't focus all your attention on shutting down tear maclaurin and at washington's score more points and washington is going to be really really fun and i think they're going to they're going to dominate the nfc east l. Come on i'm sorry they are you know they are. I think the thing you've got to look at is you know in terms of where mclaren's targets should come from and curtis angels probably more important come from you know. They allowed the four quarterbacks. They had last year to throw six hundred times. You know and and fifth badgering at this point. Even though he's clearly at the tail end of his career. Alex smith was coming off a broken leg and missing all that time. We know what. Dwayne haskins was taylor. Heineke and all the stuff that he's gone through in kyle allen for the time that he played so if there are somewhere in the neighborhood of five fifty or above which i think is probably the case knowing that the probably trust fitzpatrick a little bit. More as crazy as that sounds That you know we talked about this. I'm sure you guys have as well. Mike fitzpatrick track record from stevie johnson brandon marshall to devante to whenever he's had a guy he's focused and featured that guy in turn corn is in that stratosphere of is that he's thrown to so in some cases better in some cases on par. So i think you know samuel will get his opportunities but mclaren where you have a rank. Mikey's he's around seven for me Nice of a format. I think he's got top ten so high high. Jerry mc lawrence got the ability and you can look at ryan fitzpatrick and alex smith last year. They threw the ball almost identical two hundred sixty seven attempts in two hundred and fifty two attempts. But look how much better ryan fitzpatrick was almost thirty or more than thirty more first downs. A yards per attempt multiple yards higher than alex smith. This is big time for terry. I who knows like fingers crossed. Maybe we get a situation where we got. We got the brandon. Marshall eric decker situation jets where you have to really high level fantasy wide receivers. Yeah that's that's the level of our production last question as edmonds. Do you think will have a bigger role in two thousand twenty one that he had in two thousand twenty yes. I definitely think it'll be a bigger role hill but it will be. It'll be frustrating every once in a while you'll think you had the guy and then the next game it'll be disappointing for you that that week. Nine game against miami man's going to bother a lot of people you know. Twenty five carries seventy hearts. Like was a bust all right. So let's talk about free agency. Gimme your biggest winner. Nfl free agency so man we just did. Our another footballers talk free agency of like you know we're boring and not it hasn't been very spicy like honestly the biggest winners aaron jones of getting a contract of pretty substantial value like. He's he got enough money that when he's done he'll he'll be paid nicely and his fancy value is fully intact that he's going to be a top five. Running back is passing. Work is probably gonna go up with jamaal williams out of town so like biggest winner to me is aaron jones. If you wanna talk about someone who's like the scenario around him changed drastically. My biggest winner will be terry maclaurin as you have ryan fitzpatrick who is fantasy. Football superstar view fantasy football players. Love ryan fitzpatrick. And for good reason. I mean like the dude got swag levels. That are just immeasurable. And he's willing to go down the field. We don't have alex smith checking it down to jd. Mckissic fifteen times a franken game. We have someone who will actually stretch the field and on top of that. Now curtis samuel. He has an actual real high level number two on the other side. So you get those two guys and a tonio gibson with a. I'm not saying ryan fitzpatrick's elite. He's he's he's not only quarterback or he would be able to hold onto a job for more than a year and a half but he's good for fantasy football so the person who like dysentery was really changed. Its its terry for me. Jaime it's interesting people have different views on adding that second wide receiver. Let me throw back to mike. Actually make more sense. Oh why is it not bad. I guess if burma chlorine that they added courtesy maclaurin had a twenty four percent target share last year. So you think he's a winner even though. The quarterback upgrades huge. But you're not concerned about the samuel edition. No i mean. I think he can still sustain that. Twenty two to twenty five percent target. Share that courtesy. I'm not gonna come in and steal that away there were. They were still throwing two other players. But i'm a big believer in the better offense. I want i in especially when the team has like two main options. I know logan thomas as there and long time. This is getting disrespected. Incredibly over this offseason for what he did last year and what he could continue to do but now you have two main guys right you. You don't have three. You don't have the dreaded four so just the fact that the offense is better more scoring opportunities. A defense has to respect curtis samuel. If you look back where the way. That ron rivera used. Curtis samuel was not really like he was. Sammy was used last year. During the breakout he was the nine route guy. He was the guy who was always stretching the field. So kyle allen could miss him under throw him overthrow him and we all just freak out and get really mad Every single week..
