Tucker Carlson: Biden Gives Baby Formula to Illegals, Not Americans
"Let's listen again some more of Tucker Carlson cut number 9 talking a little bit about the baby food, the formula being sent to the border, but not to Americans. You're seeing footage from our Bill illusion right on the screen when the only reporters who've been covering the disaster or border, the pictures you're looking at show a group of more than a hundred illegal aliens crossing into this country, Eagle Pass Texas. Now there are only two border patrol agents on the scene, clearly they're outmatched. By the way, they're not coming from Mexico, they're coming from faraway places like Venezuela and Cuba, which by the way is an island where they come in because Joe Biden left our screen door open. Once they get here, the Biden administration will give them food supplies that you can't buy. And those would include baby formula. A Florida congresswoman called cat cam X is these illegal aliens are getting quote pallets of baby formula from the Biden administration. As kamek put it quote, they are sending pallets. Pallets of baby formula to the border. Meanwhile, in our own district here at home, we can not find baby formula. We reached out to customs and border protection to find out how much baby formula the agency has purchased they would not tell us. It's not their duty to respond to the public apparently, but they didn't deny that they had bought it. Spokesman told us that quote, ensuring migrants and formula is in line with this administration's commitments. So how much money does people gonna take, you wonder? It's two humiliating. How much more are people going to take? It's hard to believe anymore that this is all accidental. This is by design. This is absolutely deliberate. These catastrophes are intentionally self afflicted.
Tucker Carlson: Washington's Prioritization of Money to Ukraine
"Let's do what Tucker Carlson said last night on Fox News about the prioritizing of baby formula for illegals, but not American citizens. Instead, you representatives in Washington just voted to send yet another $40 billion to be creating an oligarch who paid off the president's son. That's what happened. And it's just the latest check that Congress has cut them. You can add it to the approximately $14 billion. They've already spent on Ukraine. That brings the total as of tonight to more than $54 billion. How much is that? Well, for perspective, it is more than we spent per year on average on the war in Afghanistan, a war that began with a direct attack on the United States. 54 billion. That's about as much as Russia, the country spends on its entire armed forces over the course of a full year. It is a ludicrous amount. Wow, that's clarity. That's perspective. That is astounding,
Marjorie Taylor Greene Outraged by Lack of Funding for Baby Formula
"So listen to what Marjorie Taylor Greene said on the floor of Congress this week regarding the aid that the Biden administration wants the American taxpayer to fork over to Ukraine and she puts it in context with the baby formula crisis we're facing. Listen to this. Thank you. A rise in opposition to the Ukrainian supplemental Bill, $40 billion, but there's no baby formula for American mothers and babies. An unknown amount of money to the CIA in the Ukraine supplemental Bill, but there's no formula for American babies and mothers. $54 million in COVID spending in Ukraine. But there's no formula for American babies and mothers. $900 million for nonprofits and organizations in Ukraine. But there's no formula for American babies and mothers. $8.7 billion for economic support and funding in Ukraine, but there's no formula for American mothers in babies.
'The View' Debates a Baby's Rights
"But first, to yesterday's the view. This is an uncomfortable conversation. We have to have at what point does a baby in the womb have rights. Listen, it doesn't matter what you think. When you think it is, if I don't think that. But listen, but I don't have to, I don't have to tell you. It's not in your business. It's your decision. What you do with your body and how your family works. And for me, I don't care what your religious beliefs are. It's not even a religion. But it is important. Rob is freaking out.
Tracy Robinson: The Origins of 'The Matter of Life' Film
"You must be, you feel like you're right in the middle of the storm right now with this roe V wade debate and the movie is so timely. It's going to be in theaters in what they call those fathom events may 16th and 17th, the movie addresses the issue of abortion through science, philosophy and history. And I love what you said and I've borrowed your phrase clarity kills controversy. Tell me about the evolution of this important movie and why it was so important for you to get behind it and direct it. Well, the origin of this movie started back in 2016, 6 years ago, and my background's in film and video production. And I was commissioned on and off to do testimonial videos and promotional videos for a pro life pregnancy resource center in California. And I had never heard of a pregnancy center before, but I really admired what they were doing to help women in their time of need. And but I wasn't very concerned about the abortion issue. I didn't think it was a big deal in the grand scheme of things. I was pretty much in the mushy middle and apathetic. And it wasn't until my Friends at the pregnancy resource center invited me to an apologetics night and the topic was going to be the case against abortion. And I thought, well, I'll go and check it out and see what my pro life friends are talking about. And in less than two hours, the speaker Alan lehmann of Santos, he gave a clear concise argument for the full humanity of the unborn child from the moment of conception. And the logic and the clarity and just the just simplicity of this message really struck
Biden Admin Cancels Sale of Massive Oil Lease in Alaska
"That the Biden administration announced it is canceling the sale of a massive oil and gas lease location in Alaska. He also canceled two leases under consideration in the Gulf of Mexico. There's a theme that has been emerging from this audience and the theme is pretty simple. That the Democrats aren't doing this accidentally. This is intentional.
Jesse Watters: Why Are We Feeding Illegals Before Americans?
"Jesse watters had his own unique take on this reprehensible situation yesterday on Fox News channel. Why are we feeding illegal babies ahead of American babies? Why can illegals get baby formula from border agents, but we can't get it at Walgreens? Does any of this make sense? None of this is rocket science. For instance, we have oil in Alaska. Gas. Just broke a record. It's almost what? Four 50 a gallon? What is Joe Biden do today? Shuts down a massive oil lease in the state of Alaska. Is anybody in The White House thinking? Inflation is at a record high. So how about we stop spending and stop printing? Right? It's the same thing with defund the police. We want to treat everybody on the street with respect, but we want to give the police the tools to fight crime. Everybody agrees with that. Judge jeanine said the other day, mayor Adams and Manhattan, taken thousands of guns off the street, but the crime is going up. Why? Because we're not taking the criminals off the street.
Rep. Cammack: Pallets of Baby Formula Are Going to the Border
"Let's listen together to this congresswoman from Florida. She posted this video on Facebook day before yesterday. But something that I absolutely have to share with you right now is the craziness of the empty shelves Biden movement and the fact that they are sending palettes palettes of baby formula to the border. Meanwhile, in our own district at home, we can not find baby formula. This is a picture from a target. Oh, it's upside down. Sorry. Okay. We literally are struggling to find baby formula around the country. Moms are struggling going from store to store to store. And then the stores are actually capping the amount of baby formula that they will sell them. But and this got sent to me by a border patrol agent this morning and said, this is disgusting, you will not believe this. They're receiving pallets and more palettes. Of baby formula. At the border. This was taken at Ursula. Processing facility where thousands are being housed and processed and then released subsequently into the United States. So think about this. This is what America last looks like. This is a 100% what it looks like. And in response, Congress, we actually, before I even got these photos, we were working with our colleagues on the energy and commerce committee and ranking member Kathy McMorris Rogers who is doing a bang up job. She put together a letter that their finalizing right now, going to The White House, going to the administration, demanding answers. And it is hands down one of the most frustrating experiences.
Jen Psaki: Can't Find Baby Formula? Call Your Doctor.
"The Biden administration has things under control. Not to panic. Circle back has the answer on her next to last day today is her final day before she becomes an MSNBC star. Which compared to the Fox News ratings, that's a little bit like being the tallest little person in the room. But she will be an MSNBC star where she belongs. After months and months of spinning for Joe Biden, listen to what she said, when one of the reporters said, well, what are we supposed to do? What are women in America? Supposed to do who desperately need baby formula for their infants. If you thought it was a public health question, which agency should that question be directed to just the very practical immediate question of if you can't find formula and you need it for your baby to eat. What should they be doing? We would certainly encourage any parent who has concerns about their child's health or well-being to call their doctor or pediatrician. Take two aspirin, call me in the morning. Albeit MSNBC in my makeup in my makeup chair. Getting ready for my close up. Call your doctor, moms, but he's supposed to call your doctor.

Jim Jordan and Mike Johnson's Letter to Merrick Garland
"So this is from Jim Jordan and Mike Johnson's letter to Merrick Garland. It says, and one investigation following your directive, the FBI's field office, interviewed a mom for allegedly telling a local school board we are coming for you. The complaint, which came into the FBI through the national threat operations center snitch line that he set up, the Carlin set up, alleged that the mom was a threat because she belonged to a right-wing moms group known as moms for liberty. Moms for liberty. And because she is a gun owner. When the FBI agent interviewed the mob, she told the agent that she was upset about the school board mask mandates and that her statement was a warning that her organization would seek to replace the school board with new members through the electoral process. Bravo, it's exactly what you're supposed to do. I thought this was a democracy, gets everybody's favorite word on the left these days. There's another one. The FBI's field office opened an investigation subsequent to your directive into a dad opposed to mask mandates. The complaint came in through the national threat operations center snitch line that, again, Merrick Garland set up, and alleged that the dad fit the profile of an insurrectionist. Because, quote, he rails against the government, believes all conspiracy theories and has a lot of guns and threatens to use them. When an FBI agent interviewed the complainant, the complainant admitted they had no specific information or observations of any crimes or threats, but they contacted the FBI after learning. The Justice Department had a website to submit tips to the FBI in regards to any concerning behavior directed towards school boards. You see how this works, folks? You give them a snitch line and then every wacko left left wing crazy starts calling in conservatives.

The FBI Is Spying on Parents: A Timeline
"29th, the school board association sends a letter to the Biden White House. 5 days later on October 4th, Merrick Garland issues this memorandum with a press release that lays out and puts a snitch line together to go after parents, then 16 days later, the FBI sends out the email that establishes this threat tag designation that was put on these parents. In 22 days. So I have this letter printed out here from Jim Jordan and Mike Johnson, who's the ranking member on the subcommittee on the constitution civil rights civil liberties, and it's addressed to the honorable Merrick Garland. He says in sworn testimony before this committee, you denied that the Department of Justice or its components were using counter terrorism statutes and resources to target parents at school board meetings. We now have evidence that contrary to your testimony, the FBI is labeled at least dozens of investigations into parents with a threat tag created by the FBI's counter terrorism division to assess and track investigations related to school boards. These cases, now listen closely, include investigations into parents upset about mask mandates. And state elected officials who publicly voiced opposition to vaccine mandates. These investigations into concerned parents are the direct result of and would not have occurred but for your directive to federal law enforcement to target these categories of people. These laying down the gauntlet, both of these representatives are. Laying down the gauntlet saying, this would not have happened, had you not directed the FBI to do so. So what is this testimony that they are referencing? To play cut one ten, this is Merrick Garland assuring Congress, under sworn testimony under oath that the Department of Justice was not using its resources to target concerned parents. Cut one ten. I can't imagine any circumstance in which the Patriot Act would be used in the circumstances of parents complaining about their children, nor can I imagine the circumstance where they would be labeled as domestic terrorism. So then why mister Garland, honorable mister Garland? Are you using counter terrorism tools to label these concerned parents about mask mandates and vaccine mandates, which, by the way, they will be proven completely true. They basically already are. They will be absolutely vindicated. This show will be vindicated, concerned parents across the country will be vindicated. Because masks did not work, they did not stop the spread, nor will they ever. Nevertheless, this is the state of things as they now stand that if parents express concern, if they voice their opposition, they were surveilled by the FBI using counter terrorism tools. We now know
Rep. Troy Nehls: Fentanyl Pills Are Coming From the Southern Border
"America. This is disgraceful, while the border is wide open, and yet Democrats refuse to close this, sir. I know it. And the fact is, is that it's the number one killer of males between 18 and 45 years old. And it just doesn't seem to get the attention from the liberal media. The far left don't want to seem to talk about this. And it's coming through our southern border, Sam. I mean, obviously the border patrol and others, they have, they have seized dozens of these fentanyl pills that just takes a little itty bit. Peculiar. And so their season this by the by the tons quite honestly. And it seems like the administration doesn't even think about it. It's like, well, I guess this is just a normal day. No, this is a problem because now we have fentanyl Kelly Moore males and car crashes. But what is the administration doing is doubling down and they're going to get rid of title 42. I mean, this administration Biden the whole crew. They put the American people last. Well, it's about time we put the American people first.
Rep. Troy Nehls: Baby Formula Should Go to Americans Before Illegals
"Listen, interesting post, I love that you put up there on your social media baby formula should go to Americans before illegals. How in the world are we sitting here with a crisis and we have all the capabilities in America and we have a shortage right now, congressman Troy. Yeah, I'm assuming here in the next few hours maybe sleepy Joe will get on his do a little press conference or send something out that said it's Putin's fault. No. Security issue, Sam. But it is it's a serious issue obviously when you think mothers out there that have small babies meeting baby formula, but again, there's going to be the blame game. Yes, you got this company. I think it was Abbott industries that had some inspections on and they were shut down because they just, I guess they didn't meet that standard and I believe that they need to be standards and obviously our places that produce all this. But yeah, now we have a crisis on our hand. It's just another crisis in addition to the dozens of other crises we have in our country. But the administration is never going to look at and take any accountability for this. It's always going to be the blame game and they're going to blame something. Someone other than their own administration as to the result of the food shortages, baby formula, supply chain, inflation, gas prices, all of it. It's the blame game. And I kind of been yeah, I'm a little wise I will and I say blame Putin, but that's what they seem to want to do today.

"For that feedback. I read your column every week, says Jim. I have a house with white porcelain sinks. The whole across from the other side is rusted at the edges. Can you recommend a fix? We gotta live with it. Yeah, that little overflow hole. That's a very, very susceptible place for Russ to form. I know exactly. What you mean. But no, you couldn't touch that up. So no one will ever ever notice it on way to do that is just simply scuff the rust up with some memory cloth or Or some fine sandpaper on get all that get all the residue off. So it's down to the raw metal get rid of the rust, right? And then there's simply get a porcelain repair kit. They work pretty well. They worked well in bathtubs and sinks. Where there isn't a lot of wear and tear of the odds of a porcelain repair kit. You know, you brush on that white porcelain stuff, the odds of it working around the drain where the most wear and tear is in a sink or a tub. Are pretty low. But if there is some weird place like up on the may be on the edge of the tub or in your case, like the overflow in the in the laboratory. It works pretty well because there's no wear and tear very little water in there in there, so just, you know, touch it up with a little brush and you'll deal you'll be the only one that will ever know that there was rust and, you know, kind of Some, you know, sort of blemish there. And just let it go with that. Yeah, but again, I see a lot of houses where the ledge of the tub kind of the edge of the tub. Something drops the hammer. They're trying to hang a picture or something. And you get one of those dime sized black blemishes. Well, porcelain repairs repair kit on the tub deck. Porcelain repair kids worked pretty well. Around the drain. Forget about it is they say it's just not gonna last okay? And this one is a little esoteric, but Uh, this is a gentleman named Mike who's got some squeaky bouncy floor. Joyce in his house. Um, the, uh, just there's too much bounce. Too much vibration China cabinet and all that. So you want Sto kind of beef up is florid. Joyce and I. We've talked about this occasionally on the program, and it's I'm not gonna spend a lot of time because it's a little bit. As I say, esoteric, quit. Well, you can do this. It takes a lot of patients, and it's a lot of work. What you can do this You can do what we call sister Ring system ring simply means putting one piece of board both side. Another one. In the case of floor. Joyce, you could get half inch Plywood and put a lot of glue on it and screw it into the side of a floor rejoiced to and acts like instead of one would member the choice, right? Now you have to you have the edge of that supply would sandwich which is extremely strong, helping to absorb the weight of the floor. Joyce now the only way to do this is to take a little bit of the load off the floor. Joyce Glue and screw in your plywood and then remove the load. So the plywood absorbs the load along with the floor. Joyce, if we just blew a piece of plywood on the edge, it's not gonna help. So the way to do that is to get up to buy four leg and kind of jam it or wedge it into the floor. Joyce ever so slightly, so maybe you get up and eighth of an inch or maybe up to a quarter of an inch. Wedging in there. So you you, you push up on the floor, Joyce basically put the plywood on. Screw it and blew it. Ah, lot of glue, lot of screws and then and then wait 24 hours..

So you're not going to hurt yourself, either. Or belts a little bit more expensive. You'll get plenty of good life out of it. But your call on which way you want to go on that. Just spray it with fabric softener. Sometimes that works in a minute. Sometimes at work. It's not. Yeah, no, I'll tell you we're gonna have to get Yeah. Here. Here's the issue. Sherry and that is getting wallpaper off depends on You know how easy it is to get the wallpaper off really depends on how it was applied. It really comes down to that. I tell the story often on this show. I tried to remove some wallpaper off my kitchen. This is 30 years ago. Took the weekend off from work and it that two day project took me three weeks because the paper was literally hung on top of Unpriced drive all it was a disaster. And so you know if it's prime properly sized properly, the right glues used properly, while paper should pull off. But people don't do it the right way. So then it becomes a labor and vinegar and water and soap. Sure, people use that They have success with it. Fabric softener. Yes, that's a homemade recipe. They success with that. There's a product called Def D I F It's an enzyme that starts breaking down the glues. So you saturate that paper for you know, Let's sit for 10 or 15 minutes. You re saturated use a wallpaper scraper, and people have luck with that. And then last resort, a lot of people will go to the steamer. So that's why I'm going on, you know? Did you use the other one's first? So, um, those are the ways you remove wallpaper sometimes get calls and people say, Can I paint over paper? And I say, Gee, I hate to see you do that. Sometimes the scenes show Sometimes the wallpaper comes off. But there comes a time where sometimes you do have to paint over the paper, and that's when it just doesn't come off. Okay? I appreciate your time. Thank you so much love listening to your show. Thank you. Take care. Bye bye. All right, in our numbers, 808 to 38255 and Let's get to Patrick. Patrick. Welcome. Good morning, Gary. Morning. We purchased the house about a year ago, and the previous owners had both dish and Direct TV. And unfortunately it up the satellite dishes on the roof. Okay, And my wife doesn't like the aesthetics of it, and I was wondering which which is I'm for I'm concerned about our movement going to cause leagues have damage damage. Shing goes Um, which is the best way to go. It's penetrated the shingles. I don't know. You know, I have direct TV. When they put that dish on there. They gave me such a lecture about how I was never to touch that. If I had a roofing put on they will take it off. They will put it on and be honest with you. I had a new roof put on and they took it off and put it on like I if I were to do it myself. I would you know, if it's penetrated the shingles and everything. You're certainly going to have to get in there and patch that with a good quality roof, patching material. Um, So I guess that's what I would do. If it's got to come off. I would, um, you know, take it off and make sure that shingles patched very, very well from underneath to shingle, too, on top of the shingle. Yeah, we have cable. So we don't use either. They're both just sitting there. Okay, well, Then I you know again, you take one off the same way you take the next one off, So your secret is just patching it and patching it properly meaning? Especially if it's a multi dimensional shingle that you patch the one underneath, as well as the one on top. Try and do it in a little bit warmer weather where they're a little more flexible. And, um, yeah, if you got to get him off, just just just patch that penetration, That's all. All right. I'm leaning just leaving themselves. I don't know what I mean. And, you know? Yeah, sure. And I don't know if they come out and would remove him. I you know, I don't know. But if you were to remove him, just make sure you got a good patch you something with good UV rays don't use the 99 Cent roof patch using the last American Ruth patch. Those are more resistant to ultraviolet rays of the sun. Sounds good already hated. All right, Patrick. Thanks. Take care. All right. Our phone numbers 808 to 38255. We're gonna talk about coding your countertops. But before we do that, we got Mike who's got a quick tip. I got about a minute. Mike. Gary, How are you? Yes, sir. Fine. Did you say flexible just a minute ago. Flexible. He said that But you said you go for pliable, inflexible together and came out flexible. I may have gotten that I'm not beyond doing that. Hey, real quick on the Them Saturday. You? Yeah, That's another idea for and I wouldn't not leak and now I poked the devil. Well, boy, you're exactly right. Once the shingles get.

"I only feel comfortable about the substance 7 if it is not known as you blow out, but like a five five to ten point lead like a solid lead throughout the contest or at least once you get into the fourth quarter if it if it gets down to crunch time and it's anyone's game. This is the worst prediction I've ever heard of just it's a total strategy straddling the line I'm saying this really know what I'm saying. So it's going to win but I don't feel good about that prediction if it's cold flight. That's all I'm saying. So December is my pic. I'm picking Celtics a comfortable Celtics. When is my pic? Okay, so I'm be robbed Celtics in seven, but not only Tatum drops a 50-ball and they shoot 60% from behind the three-point line and Pascal siakam brakes is a little high. Apparently apparently shooting forty percent from three isn't enough anymore. Is that what was it the number it was the first game that they ever lost shooting higher than than 40% the playoffs. Yes from through. Yes brutal. I see nothing wrong with that analysis. By the way that you just gave like that's just yeah. I'm I'm pretty superstitious person. But I guess I also just keep thinking that the rafters are like, this is like a last-gasp like I thought that game for was the last gasp. I thought that last night was the last gasp and I'm going to continue think that until they prove me wrong and Kawhi Leonard is not walking through that door. So I'm I'm going with the Celtics. I'm going to I'm break it's not it's going to be an animus. I'm going to go through until I think I know I'm I'm telling you once the atom has a big game. He's do he's do and it's going to be that shot. He hit at the end of double overtime that ugly what you call it. Pina junk junk shot that junk on the brake line. And the second overtime will be the reason, you know again and it'll take it's going to take Jayson Tatum having and have you not Fifty. I think Jayson Tatum needs to score 40 points for the Celtics to win loss in game. Seven. Damn. Yeah, I do. I don't know. I just say something about this Raptors team man. If you let them you let them live for too long, you know, and I think it's just one of those things you can look back at the craziness of game six, the ridiculous ridiculousness of game 3 game fours and understandable loss, but those two games with the Celtics had and again Europe Europe 4.6 in double overtime. I just think they let them let them stick around these teams are again. We say that the Celtics are a better team I think on paper they certainly are but me look at the series clearly 3 and 3. They're even it's going to be a close game and like you said Europe. I'm not counting on that five to ten point when I think it's going to be closed and I'm going with Toronto down the stretch that happened not happy about it. But with the prediction, all right, so you have it sounds like UFC outcome for your X Factor in that Mike who's your X Factor in or who's the the surprise contributor in the Celtics win game seven? Surprise contributor. Hm. I mean my answer was just going to be kamba..

You know when I was I was thinking that I was like a player when I was young and then I thought back with a little more variety that was more of a plate e than a player. Yeah that's an awesome song. Guys are in tune. I don't know about the lessons. You can find everything how. How long have you been playing together? Well you know it's funny. We started off doing around Rodman. Excuse me at Truly scrumptious we weren't a band three songwriters. Mike WHO's not here. We have placed there and And so we were just gonNA invite different people and then we invited bill I because he lived on the beach and then he just kept showing up So then one of the charity things on the beach one of the first one said we need your band. We asked our band the play and we weren't a band and so that's when we became I came up with the loose nuts which eventually turned into by democracy by the Pearl Street band. How hard is it to write a song? Sometimes it's really difficult. Sometimes it just happens because we were in Nashville Our family was in Nashville this weekend. And there's one session where it was all about the songwriters because a lot of the country bands country artists. They don't write their own songs. But the songwriters come up with these songs and then you hear them singing some of the songs that you know Kenny Chesney or Luke Bryan or Carrie underwood made hits. And it's amazing That that they these songwriters pound out as many song as they as they do. It's like they have the gift once they make that first million dollars. There's no going back but if you're watching out there. Have you ever written a song for somebody? That's taking it to the top of the charts bill working on that so right now we know we try to keep it fun learning. Actually you know we've all done CDs and right now we're in the middle of doing a Pearl Jam. Pearl Jam Pearl Jam. Wow they're pretty big. I presume picking her name Pearl Street band CD ARENA Mr Right. Now we do this for Our reward is we have a great time and like I said if someone wants to request. We usually play the same song twice. Okay the best way to screw up. A hobby is made into a profession. Yeah well that's what I'm thinking about the show. I don't want to try to get out of it. It's a it's a hobby so Anything else that you want to make sure that we Include in what's going on with the events before we have them a play another song march fifth. "Crates. I'm meanwhile while his head is like up against the window back and my friend Laura's out the passenger side puking so there's all this puke next whereas we've got so fucked up there like it was just like the most that house everything I remember about being fucked and I tell you what there's something to be said like like you know. Some people in society can look down upon it and frown on it. But there's something to be said to living in just like a completely baseless debauchery archery pad like I did and we did and it was like six out of seven nights of the week. There were ten or fifteen people hanging out drinking getting wasted brought. I was hanging out at the bar. My one of my local hangouts and this kid sits down next to me and we strike up a conversation. We're sitting there talking. This seems seems like an all right guy. He's younger than me and he's like. Oh Man I'm like right around the block out this cool loft and whenever he was like Oh you know not to be jerk or anything anything but be cool like Kinda hang out you get and you see all right come on over so bring him over to the big loft and Then my buddy shows up he comes home and he's got a couple of girls with them and then a couple of other people show up and then you know there's seven or eight ten people hanging out just like a typical Tuesday night at the loft China and a lot of girls and this kid starts just acting like a jerk to the girls totally hidden on them but like not cool way like touching acid eh drunk and so he's like pawn them and they're fucking like and so nobody likes the kid after a while. I'm like I'm sorry guys. He seemed like a cool kid when I met him at the bar bars wanted come hang out turns out. He's a Douche bag whatever. Well then all of a sudden he's wasted drunk and he passes out on my well now. Now we gotta gotTa fuck with you guys now. The girls started it because there were like. Fuck this motherfucker. He was snapping my Bra and just doing stupid do you produce. Shed like grabbing miasma. Whatever so they tie your shoe laces together? He's passed out on like that. We've got hanging out in the living room. He's passed out there they tie. Asu Laces together. He wakes up. He's got a p trip and he's falling all over himself. I'm like he's going to be his pants legs. Exactly he's averaging so. I helped the kid to the bathroom. I try Brian help. Montage I might just take your fucking shoes off. Dude slip them off. Slip them off. He goes he pees he comes back he passes out again. I was like you know what the fair game. Whatever you guys want to do to him really don't like this fucking gambling? I really don't like him either. So whatever you WANNA do so somebody grabs a sharpie. Of course they start drawing dicks on his face draws a dick right into his mouth. Somebody writes leg like scumbag on his forehead and did something else on Mike who's got got clippers to take the clippers and somebody's like shaves a little piece of his hair right right by his side and I was like dude. I mean if you're GonNa go for do you. Aw Yeah So. We shaved an eyebrow off. Just one one eyebrow shaved completely off bad did a big spot of the big patch on the side of his hand. It looked like he was balding. Oh No we just made him look dumb you know. It's just like one eyebrow in this big chunk missing out of his hair and like all this Dick Shit Renamo overs phase and like somebody drew you know may look like little comes around his mouth and you know they pulled down his pants half ways. When he woke up he added like trip and stumble over that and so he's passed out in the front room so we go back to the middle room which was separated by a rumor to this giant loft? And we're just watching TV and it's like three o'clock in the morning and then Oh that's what we did. We all four of us picked up the chase that he was sleeping on and we took him outside into the lobby. We had these big red doors and we took him outside the doors and close it up unlocked and he was out in the lobby and we went back inside and kept drinking and watching. TV and stuff and forgot all about him. Actually I was like why we took pictures of it. Somebody put a piece of Bologna on his face dom to stuck at twinkie. Rip It in half when woke up the next day was either so while we're watching. TV He wakes up he got back in somehow. Somebody must have left the door unlocked. And he comes in and he's like really she visually just kind of pokes his head. He's like thanks a lot guys fucking leaves and we never saw him again. The lesson is don't be don't be a dick man. You WanNa get. You WanNa get drunk hammered hanging out with some cool people that's grabbing girls assets that you don't know the snap and bras like your thirteen years old job a Douche bag man. He learned his lesson. Hopefully I hope he never did that. Shit again I do. The shaved eyebrow was the worst. Because you know how long it takes the grown eyebrow back I mean I do. This was like two thousand three so you know maybe he had somebody. Would Pencil inform for a month until the group Aker two months or whatever I don't know I never saw again crazy. who was I wished? I still have the pictures that yet. We definitely fucked with this kid. I don't remember his name or anything. Like that. Kills learnt feels bad for the Portland. I kinda do. It was almost like we did guy with Kinda hard on him but it was like he he really did off girls roles. You're making girls feel uncomfortable. They don't WanNa come back over here again. You're fucking up our entire nine. That's Donald Trump. Bro You don't get to Graham by the Pussy. Sorry frowned upon so cool. Well we hope you guys enjoyed Oliver storytelling tonight. I think that over time i'm you know as the engineering team grows. There might be some of those c._r._m. Kinda capabilities might creep in there. We'll see yeah no no. It's it's good good. We we think you know here. We talk a lot about a lot of technology a lot of platforms lot of gadgets kind of fun to to to think through that and and to think of this is new kind of way of thinking through like hey here's an old business and i love the fact you guys are trying to maybe think about their emerging. You know companies companies that ed probably been blocked or just because the big ones own the the interstate could never get on. It could just never get their vehicles on in. I i think this is great to see some new things again. I allude to mike alluded to i think just in omaha hero when we think about infusion and like you bucket and brick way a. and all those all these breweries we have here and these different options and then patriot distilleries which isn't doing beer but is only here is only doing <hes> <hes> spirits. It's it but they've got a pretty good local market but getting wider distribution a pint nine. Mike who's who's right next to cross train there in the in the in the mall or their brewing these things the strip mall they're doing a cross trains made it. They're getting distributed needed widely. They are getting out there. Pint nine has not been so lucky. They're still kind of selling things locally and so but it's great to see the local folks start to make it kind of on a national level. I think there's an appetite for that as well. It is correct in thinking that cody. He is getting better for the small market folks. Were trying to make it that way. <hes> it's one of the things that our company specifically is is trying to help with <hes> we are starting to see i think particularly with <hes> we'll go back to talking about the difference between craft beer craft spirits. The bigger beer companies were actually actually pretty slow in starting to buy up some of the craft beers. I mean those craft beers really had a long run before any deal started getting made <hes> craft spirits. It's very different <hes> so <hes> this is all public information so ford's jin was again that came on the market in maybe twenty he's seventeen or even late twenty seventeen early two thousand eighteen <hes> and earlier this year they got bought up by brown forman the parent company for woodford reserve jack jack daniels and a a a bunch of other products as well <hes> and so you know that's a two year maybe year and a half two year kinda run before before hey they've got enough success where buying them that's pretty quick <hes> to to make a move on a company so <hes> you know hats off to all those guys that were involved with that team they they did a great job of building the brand but the larger spirit on producers definitely learned from the from the size researchers from the budweisers and some of the larger brewers they they learned from i think from the hindsight that those guys are suffering from yeah. Maybe we should move a little little faster strong and this is the beer industry has consolidated. I mean they consolidate it hard into just a handful and <hes> and craft came underneath. It and i think you know it's just one of those consolidation models where you get big. You get lazy. You don't innovate anymore..

"And now millions of people are going to idolize you. And now you're forced into this position to be this person. When it's like, well, how do I actually feel about this just because other people think they know their perception of you or have a perception of you doesn't mean that's youth about yourself or how you think you should be represented, and I sort of got away with it because no one suspected anything. Yeah. And so everyone on the side of suspect. It's just gonna say, but like publicly don't want question it because I was not playing a character who was super sexual character because he hooked up. With everyone every including Becca, but like because it was a straight character. No, one said anything, and so I could get away with figuring out. Do I care about this? I want people know during not want people to know. And once I realized that people weren't asking or looking for it, then it was sort of freeing, and then at some point something which was like, I'm over this. And I hate actually I think I am tiptoeing around. What's actually going on and not answering questions? Truthfully. Allah point was that revelation because you never had like a I'm out. No, I did. I never liked that LA times cover. There was what was it? Like, what was the? I don't know. Like, do you mean like personally personally was way was way before? Julia. Oh, yeah. Yes, impersonal it was like almost a decade before. But also like there was this this period of time where you didn't care, and you weren't denying it, and you weren't firming. I so for example, one of my friends is Tyler Oakley who's big youtuber and has done amazing things for the gay community. Because I also think that's been anyway, I digress about that. But he we're having a party at my house one time. And he's like I ask you a question. It's like why haven't you said anything publicly, and it was like super nice how he asked. And I was like, you know, what I think it's just because nobody's asked. But I don't think that's an excuse because I remember like Ellen page when she came out. She said she was lying because it wasn't that. No, one was asking her or that. She was lying people asked her. So that she was avoiding, and I think that's sort of what I did because it was easy. And that's what I was used to in. It's sort of like, well, it's been this long. Like, how do I do it now? Yeah. And also, I'm not someone who ever thinks about myself in this way. Where Mike who cares? Who's gonna care? Right. You're like all my fans by now. Back. That's what happened when you like tweeted something I tweeted a joke about this is so recent. Yes, it was like this way less than a year ago. Wait. What happened? I saw Arianna grenade. Put out a new song. And I love me some Arianna. And it was like it was not as left to cry and my friends three cents last year. Yes, it was like an April or staffing. And I was like, oh this song is gayer than me. And then all of a sudden he tweeted that. Yeah. Like, I'm like, this is a funny joke. But this is like a ninety s House song it'd be played in a gay club. And then it will put it up. Yeah. "They were pushing for for death sentences much more aggressively. I think there are a few things that have accounted for the the discretion and the drop in in seeking death. I think I the experience with wrongful convictions. I think that the fact that so many folks who had been sentenced to death row where later found to have not committed the offence has affected public opinion, which in turn affects. Prosecutorial discretion. I think the the fact that every death penalty jurisdiction has moved to the option of life without possibility of parole as an alternative to the death sentence has been quite influential in prosecutorial decision making opinion polls show that that the support for the death penalty on at the punishment has decreased substantially from about eighty percent to about sixty percent of the American public. But if you actually ask the American public about their support for the death penalty when the option is life without possibility of parole, the support drops below fifty percents. So I think that's that's really where the American people are that given the choice of something other than the death penalty, they favor it. Okay. He tells I mean, you're there in Austin, Texas, and as you pointed out, Texas has had of any state in the union the most actual executions since nineteen seventy six right? So so I is it this prosecutor. Discretion and public opinion is is that also what's changing there in Texas? I think it is a high-risk county which is home to Houston used to be the death penalty capital of the United States with which would have been one of the largest death penalty states all by itself. And there was a practice back in the nineteen eighties and nineties of indiscriminately seeking the death penalty in any case in which it could be charged and more recently, the the folks in Houston aren't as interested in the death penalty that neither the public nor the district attorney, and we've seen death sentences there essentially disappear with a few years without a death sentence in what used to be the death penalty capital. So Cassandra stubs with ACLU limit. Let me turn back to you on this. I I'm wondering if if there does seem to be a a natural progression in terms of a reduction of seeking the death penalty from from prosecutors does that obviate the need for. For kind of a a supply supreme court decision on the death penalty, which I know some some people who oppose capital punishment continue to seek out. Well, I think that there will continue to be movement. Not just in terms of prosecutors seeking the death penalty laws or juries returning the death penalty less, but we'll see more movement by legislatures and executives an end state supreme courts, I think that it is a broken discriminatory unfair system that we're going to see. People turning from it going forward at the same pace of not faster than we have in recent years. There's just no question that the death penalty is really on the ropes here in America. And that we've when we look at recent developments, they're all moving in the same direction. Well, let's take a quick call here. Let's go to Mike who's calling from winter Ville, North Carolina. Mike, you're on the air. All right. How are you? I'm doing. Well. What's your thought? Today. I have a few thoughts one. I do think that we need to make sure that the system is reformed that there is no longer any racial bias that white people get the same death penalty as black people there should be no racial preference for white people. Also DNA we should very strenuously use DNA to make sure fewer and fewer innocent people get convicted, and we should videotape every death penalty and every serious crime thing. So the lawyers can be reviewed instantly. But after that, we should majorly expand the death penalty to anyone who commits a crime in which they try to kill somebody or in which they rape a woman or molest a child or even kill..

After that game. Last night was just ridiculous last night. Wasn't it? I didn't I didn't crawl into bed until about one fifty lower no room. What happens? You don't just go through a game like that. And then just go home and go to sleep. You know, I mean that was. Hold on a second. I've been all morning long. I've been checking for the NBA two minute report because the league publishes of of of games where things happened in the last two minutes. And boy did they last night the the referees. Th they evaluate the referees. Refs did in in that game. Now if you were at the game, you'd probably great the referees, very poorly. I'm not gonna do that. Man. I would just there's sometimes go, man. I wish I had a growing up to be an NBA ref last night. I I'm glad I'm not one that's a hard gig. But in the last couple of minutes of the game for liberal, Mike Who Wasn't There? Thank you, the blazers. I mean, it was back and forth. We're playing from behind all the time. But it was always a couple points. I mean, it was one of the great games of the season. And I had every expectation that we're being at home. We're gonna win this thing. But you know, coming off a big road trip. Those are the hardest games to win off times. And Oklahoma City came in there wanting to make a statement about the playoffs. So here we are with Paul George driving to the basket. I think we're tied at this moment. But there's like, I don't know fifteen seconds on the clock. There's this one moment neponset one forty two the last episode Dave and Chris did together that I keep thinking about.
