"His last two works prior to the race. He just doesn't seem quite as sharp. In fact i you know. I'll give away a little hint here that he worked with drain the clock running the woody stephen to couple of works back out there and i thought jane the clock with with a little bit better with the team so And look good. Workers say he's fast and he could work well but You know you get a little sense out of how did that. But yeah i think the best part about the report on a daily coverage around the country so we will have Santa anita reports in the stuff from florida like i said a little little bit of churchill but A little bit of keeneland. Mike keeneland It's it's older stuff now but You pick up a a work to from there so You know i. Hopefully it'll be worthwhile. You never know how things will turn out. And the weather could be a factor here too so we'll have to keep our fingers crossed and hope things clear up by saturday. Little balik out there right now. Well speaking of which eddie circling just sent out the Scratches and they're they're minimal of the everything stays on the grass. They're calling the turf good going into today and we've been very lucky mike. I mean that we were supposed to have gotten some heavy rain already and we that one of those storms apparently went out and strafed the eastern long island Pretty good out towards the hamptons. So we i think Have already been a little fortunate but we'll see about what happens tonight. And when the one guy home and his breath right now is kelly green. I would fire who really is not shown anything at all of wet racetrax otherwise. It's going to be the heavy favorite. I guess what a favorite anyway the To north tomorrow but He's leading probably against running her running him if the track comes up on the on the west side tomorrow so hard to gauge. What their expect by you know four or five o'clock tomorrow afternoon but I i do agree on. We thought we'd have been deluged this morning. I was pleasantly surprised..

And thanks for this will Have lenny. you'll hear from him again in saratoga and you'll see him. You'll see him on television. You'll also hear from mike welsh. And he's standing by high above. Where i'm sitting mike morning. Mike yup there. He is mike welsh. Everybody mike we got cut off the other day and actually we couldn't have gone much further anyway because you needed to be in place for the Draw and There's there's there's plenty to talk about When it comes to these three days first of all let everybody know about the clock report Availability for the weekend You know it's gonna be our user report except it's going to be going to be pretty loaded. We've got some reports from you. Know on these sources coming out of town out of california a little bit out of churchill unfortunately as much as we'd like The horses coming. Up from florida so You know it'll be as complete as we can as we can make it but A lot of a lot of excellent stuff on there as usual and tip my hat to my colleague. Donald harris here. Dave greenwich who have been doing most of the work year at belmont. This meat i got in here last week and got to see some some stuff last weekend again. This week but jana. I think it will as usual. It should prove worthwhile. Hopefully grab one or two Two winners it might not have gotten otherwise without the report. Well and of course the key aside from assigned from the horses in in the feature in belmont got a card like this where you know you've got Horses reassembling as usual from all these different venues and the there. There's you know. Seven hundred and eight grade one on saturday and yep you know so the the the smallest nuance I'll give you something. I'll give you a perfect example. Nick tamra was on earlier. Mike and he said that he has noted your commentary Regarding mischievous alex and how he's sensing from you he has not been as sharp coming into the met as he was coming into the carter. And that's like the kind of nuance. I i think you know the report offers. Yeah i mean. I may have hinted that some of the tweets. I'm doing but you will get that sense when the report comes out. I i'm feeling the same way we didn't have reported act when he ran in the carter but I would have had a coupla a. Minuses going in there. If we had done that He and i think i tweeted one days working as good as any horse country. Probably at that point that his last two works prior to the race. He just doesn't seem quite as sharp. In fact i you know. I'll give away a little hint here that he worked with drain the clock running the woody stephen to.

There was a documentary that chronicled essentially the last year of meadows. It's called the last train from a meadows and it is. It is unbelievable. And not i tried to. I tried to get the the hall. I should ask. Brian boucher about this again. I suggested doing a film series with you know with with commentary from the makers and so forth and principles you doing a series of those dark days at saratoga. You know they got the film theater room in the hall and you can show a movie night. You could actually probably show it. You know a couple of times on a now on a monday or tuesday and you know have a roundtable discussion kind of thing. I think it'd be really well received and the last train from bay meadows would be would be something people would would really Take to it. I mean it's it's sad frankly but I bring that's the same people who did the That lost in the fog documentary I'm wondering about that would have been the same fuck it. Would that would make sense just because of of of the sf proximity but. I'm not sure. I'm not sure that was In terms of in terms of you you bring him up and and In terms of being close to a story between harry leo and and and greg gilchrist. Yeah yeah yeah. It's still talk with. I saw the sadler horse. Pancake kim coming out of the gate. And i think he lost all chance there. I thought he was really break to get up. And and and threaten a little bit.

Just such great work everything. I touch very much. They got inquisitive minds and and They you know they swing it action with the cameras and Whatever they've you know whatever they've done starting with of course i the first saturday in may which which also i think one of a hat full of that one clips do i think. I suggested it was phenomenal. That was such a great team and talk about doing something where you don't know what the what the end result is gonna be. North is not even make the race and in fact it happens to them and and yet it worked. You know i. It still works just because of how good it is. Well and and you know part of part of its Of its charm and magic in includes my my Cameo appearance in without a doubt. I think you got a people's choice award for that but for people. This <Speech_Male> kind of opportunity <Speech_Male> has has <Speech_Male> not borne <Speech_Male> fruit more. <Speech_Male> You know <Speech_Male> an <Speech_Male> an <Speech_Male> An abroad <Speech_Male> sense for the telcos. <Speech_Male> Or <Speech_Male> you <SpeakerChange> know something <Speech_Music_Male> else going on here. <Speech_Music_Male> <Speech_Male> Yeah i <Speech_Male> mean look the <Speech_Male> first <Speech_Male> of all that the rising <Silence> <Advertisement> deal <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> It's been. It's been rumored <Speech_Male> for some time now <Speech_Male> and so i. <Speech_Male> I think everyone <Speech_Male> in the industry was sort <Speech_Male> of just sort <Speech_Male> of waiting for <Speech_Male> waiting for this. <Speech_Male> That the interesting thing <Speech_Male> on that one <Speech_Male> is that it involves <Speech_Male> private equity <Silence> <Speech_Male> You <Speech_Male> know having <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Male> lived through that myself. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> <hes> <Speech_Male> a <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> business <Speech_Male> <SpeakerChange> To <Speech_Male> private equity in the past <Silence> <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> I can <SpeakerChange> tell you <Speech_Male> maybe this is a plug <Speech_Male> for for some of <Speech_Music_Male> those Engineers <Speech_Music_Male> <Speech_Music_Male> that that may <Speech_Male> come <Speech_Male> and get away from the private <Speech_Male> equity world because that <Speech_Male> normally does not be <Speech_Male> significant <Speech_Male> future investment <Speech_Male> typically. It <Speech_Male> means <Speech_Male> You know <Speech_Male> that you're buying <Speech_Male> business. That's throwing <Speech_Male> a <Speech_Male> good chunk of cash <Speech_Male> and you're going <Speech_Male> to just harbor <Speech_Male> that cash and <Speech_Male> and make money as <Speech_Male> a pe for but <Speech_Male> not necessarily <Speech_Male> invest in the business <Speech_Male> now could be completely <Speech_Male> wrong <Speech_Male> and maybe there's a different <Speech_Male> strategy there but <Speech_Male> but you <Speech_Male> know going private equity <Speech_Male> typically <Speech_Male> signals <Speech_Male> A different <Speech_Male> a different strategic <Speech_Male> future <Speech_Male> than <Speech_Male> than <Speech_Male> being a standard owned company <Speech_Male> or or maybe working <Silence> with some other strategic <Speech_Male> buyer <Speech_Male> <SpeakerChange> or something <Speech_Male> so. <Silence> <Speech_Male> Good luck <Speech_Male> to all those folks <Speech_Male> and we'll see where <Speech_Male> they ultimately <SpeakerChange> goes. <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> But i <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> think you know. <Speech_Male> Look i <Speech_Male> can't comment <Silence> on. Anything <Speech_Male> emanate related <Speech_Male> as as it relates <Speech_Male> to zander. <SpeakerChange> But <Speech_Male> i think he what you have <Speech_Male> seen. In today's <Speech_Male> example <SpeakerChange> the <Speech_Male> tech market <Speech_Male> is really hot <Speech_Male> right. Now <Speech_Male> there's <Speech_Male> a lot of value being <Speech_Male> created <Speech_Male> Whether <Speech_Male> that's consolidation <Speech_Male> like <Speech_Male> what magnate has done <Speech_Male> whether it's <Speech_Male> ipo like whopper-o-matic <Silence> has done <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> and others <Speech_Male> You know <Speech_Male> now. You've got brian <Speech_Male> go into private. Equity <Speech_Male> sets yet <SpeakerChange> another flavor <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> You know look i <Speech_Male> can. I can <Speech_Male> say this. <Speech_Male> We recognize <Speech_Male> the strength of the <Speech_Male> assets. We have we recognize <Speech_Male> uniqueness of <Speech_Male> the assets. We have <Speech_Male> and we're committed to <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> being a player <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> in this space for a <Silence> long And <Speech_Male> you know you reference <Speech_Male> some of the changes to <Speech_Male> zander at the start <Speech_Male> of this conversation <Speech_Male> that we that we've <Speech_Male> gone through over the last couple <Speech_Male> years. I'm <Speech_Male> i'm convinced <Speech_Male> as the leader of the business <Speech_Male> that are that our best <Speech_Male> days are still ahead of us. <Speech_Male> Even though we <Speech_Male> brought through chains that <Silence> change has <Speech_Male> been <Speech_Male> good. Frankly for <Speech_Music_Male> our business. <Speech_Music_Male> And and i. <Speech_Male> I'm very optimistic <Speech_Male> <SpeakerChange> for the future <Silence> is under <Speech_Male> all right. <Speech_Male> Terrific <Speech_Male> mike welsh <Speech_Male> executive vice <Speech_Male> president and general manager <Silence> at zander. At <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> really enjoyed the conversation. <Speech_Male> Thank you so much <Silence> for taking the time. <Speech_Male> Yes zach. <Silence> I appreciate it. Thanks for having <Silence> me on <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> and thank you listeners. <Speech_Male> For tuning into <Speech_Male> another episode of this podcast. <Speech_Music_Male> <Speech_Music_Male> <SpeakerChange> We'll <Speech_Music_Male> see you next time. <Music> <Music> <Music> <Music> <Music> <Music> <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Music_Male>

"Creeps into the equation again. We've not seen you know we've not seen we've not seen that be an issue because we've sorta got ahead of it in tv okay. Who who do you view as your bigger biggest competitor. I gotta think it's magnet. You know it's interesting. We we sort of our goal is to create a category really unto ourselves with convergence. So of course. Yeah if you look at just the supply side of our business magnate. Huge competitor Google ad manager huge competitor. Click on the buy side of our business again. You know Google huge competitor. Trade desk huge competitor. But but we don't play on just one of those sites and so when you think about you know. Here's here's sort of flip the question back when people ask me this. I'll say well okay. You're right it was a big companies but name the companies that have by side capabilities for both digital and linear television sell side capabilities for both linear and digital as well as yield capability. You know it stems from our komo. Acquisition of yielded several years ago. The answer is there's there's no one else out there as you're right and that's great news because it means when you're eventually acquired by private equity you'll fetch a pretty penny brings us to our to our topic. We cannot avoid because it's breaking this morning. verizon is selling yahoo and all of their technology assets to apollo which was a private equity for five billion dollars plus because really they're retaining verizon's retaining ten percent of the business so the sale price is four point two five billion. There's another five seven hundred and fifty million dollars that's contention on some performance metrics or something else and then they're holding under ten percent so anyways really significant moment in this industry i would say and the largest reason. I think it's relevant for our conversation. Here is of course that you know long before eighteen acquired app nexus verizon acquired oath in os came with considerable ad tech platform assets And it was a big bet on the opportunity around Merging the The enormous data sets that telecommunications companies have the direct relationships with our customers with media advertising an ad tech and verizon decided not to pursue that future roadmap They hung onto right. These horizon media assets they. It was clear that they weren't Considered core the company but They were healthy large businesses and now finally they're exiting mostly exiting those assets now Verizon is not the only resident eighteen to. You're not the only to telcos have done this..

If you think back to you know at nexus being this display platform if that's all you remember exercise you know. I think it'd be a big surprise to know we are a video. I platform now And it's really exciting to watch the teams really. The teams fired up. I mean you know when you're growing that fast it just gets everyone energized to keep keep the momentum alive and we've been doing that yeah great. Okay we're gonna talk more about that. I we're going to take a short break here from sponsor. You're right back with. Mike welsh. Hi. i'm talking with christina pro cops. Eeo of iota our sponsor for the month hi christina for every day so there's a big deal internationally but less known here in the united states for those who don't know tell us what is iota iota. Global data company offering products and services that enable privacy compliant data activation on boarding endangered richmond across across one hundred thirty five markets where we operate very very much focused on. How do we bring meaningful products your clients at global level really being able to activate across all markets where we operate and we work with a lot of international data companies like experience. Gm k. and mastercard and a lot of brands to make sure that they have scalable data solutions across across all channels where they're offering their their products. Great now given your experience operating internationally. What's your point of view on all the recent changes here in the united states. It's very interesting because it's obviously as as you know. It's following a lot of read that came from came from europe and a lot of the lead. They can from international in multiple international markets. So what we see is there is. There is a natural progression from all of the evolution of the consumer focused consumer focused movements that we saw here in europe. That are that are coming over to america right now and i think. That's really unstoppable. So if you look at the the privacy landscape very will follow. I think what we saw. What we saw in europe in getting different frameworks together and making sure that all the technologies are working in a way that protects protects consumers right which has led to this confusing. Jumble of identity. Solutions here What do you make of the marketplace for identity..

"You know Out of in part from what they view as a competitor in the legacy turner networks that was important and it's actually been received very favourably from both the buy side and the sell side. That's nice to hear because that is ibm. That was as i think. A challenge for your predecessor. Brian lesser ceos. Andrew came in eighteen thinking he was going to build a huge tv exchange platform. And then i think you know from reading the reports about that some some other publications as well as ad exchange exchanger like it didn't think it was just there were headwinds their course right the tv networks and the programmers are very very sensitive to any competitive concerns so It's great to hear that you've been able to overcome that with some of your publisher partners and the tv space by by creating this firewall. There i suppose between the networks the ono sales and a network sales or exchange those. Yeah i think You know we've not we've not really changed our focus in terms of building a platform for television. We have one frankly with a capability that we call invest tb which which is sort of by side component of our tv. Our data driven linear tv programmatic platform. That that buys.

"Is no more storied company in this industry than zander founded as apt access by alumni from right media and google's doubleclick exchange. Avonex is grew into the most buzzed about programmatic platform before being acquired by eighteen. Two thousand eighteen rebranded zander shortly thereafter. The vision at the time was to create a large platform business. That would be one of three pillars of. At and t.'s. Kind of future business Alongside of course the cellular access business. Which was where it was coming from. Originally and media assets namely warnermedia. So of course things have changed a bit since then but warnermedia's still there. At and t.'s. Still owns sander and zander is still an incredibly robust scaled ad tech platform with some of the best engineering chops of any ad tech business in the world. The top executive over zander is mike welsh a longtime. At and t. guy dating back to the nineties. I believe He is running the business setting the strategy. Yes same here so Give us a little bit on you. what has your career been about. And how did it eventually come about that. You were put in the top position zander. Yeah you know. It's hard to believe but this week actually marks my thirty year anniversary in the workforce and it's funny because i've only worked for two companies but i feel like i've had four careers. Maybe it's because relocated ten times in that in that thirty years but my first career. If you will was with pillsbury in consumer packaged goods. I started out in retail sales and spent Seven years in sales related positions with pillsbury and to your point left left pillsbury nineteen ninety seven and joined what was then one of the baby bells ameritech based out of chicago and really since then it's been a great twenty four years almost with. At and t. and even within at. and t. I feel like i've had three careers The first half of those twenty four years was really are more traditional businesses so spent some time in consumer call center management said some time in enterprise business sales selling voice and data networks to large enterprise customers again more the sort of the traditional telco businesses but the second half of that career with. At and t. Really since two thousand seven. I have been in the advertising side of the business. And you know that that as recently as twenty twelve Ran our business Which to your point. Morphed into zander After the acquisition so what was add works..

And then then if lotrowska really wants it You have an opportunity to create separation and it gives you options It felt like he was a and i don't want to be unfair here but it felt like he was a little indecisive. She books so sharpie hustled the for like three strikes and then he got a hold of it looked around and basically had the terms dictated to him. And you know there's something. I always talk about it. If you're going to make a mistake make an aggressive mistake and if you do something you do turns out to be a mistake. It makes your mistake. Not don't be victimized. Be proactive not reactive and I feel like he kind of tried to hedge his bets there that he got handed that position. Well now. that's where you are and now you've got girl. All winter and steve anderson is always there when it comes to The southern california's scene and of course his name came up. When we talked to bob marino. Yesterday they're gonna open low sow later this afternoon. Steve anderson good morning got what they saw note from asia. She lost him. Okay get steve back and we'll close out the morning just about five minutes left and i think slow might be there. Hey there he is steve anderson. Good morning the rest of the united states. Well you know. We're all out there rooting for you guys and And i talked to bob marino yesterday ahead of todays opener at low sal and i guess you're a little better off i suppose in orange county then that up in in los angeles fractionally however under new guidelines in the ever revolving decision making by the california state government Los angeles and orange county's going forward will be linked in the same group for any policy decisions that are being made that would also affect san diego not racing so In the one good thing that appears to be the case if there is any good thing is that under the guidelines that were set forth yesterday. live professional. Sports can continue without audiences the if the state goes to a strict stay at home policy for certain regions and and The good thing is there's no horse tracks in santa clara county. Which is as you probably know has disrupted the san francisco. Forty niners is home game scheduled and So there's no tracks in santa clara county so there's that issues avoided for example but as for And orange county There seems to be fingers crossed. Approach that racing will not be disrupted if stay at home. Orders are are strengthened. Servewell as it came up with him. Earlier and with bob marino yesterday and then You know in the afternoon. The news broke out of Golden gate that. They're not going to resume racing until the twenty six th of december It's a real benefit. let's be honest too. Low sow filling races Feels like the meat is going to be very good for these couple of weeks. There is some Like you mentioned some strong evidence that that's the case. I just was going through some injuries for sunday. For example and you see horses that were trained by Folks that are up up. North may not have necessarily participated in southern. Cal raises noticeably quinn. How he's got a couple of horses that are entered and There is going to be a little bit more of an effect from that. Andy mathis brought a few horses down. And there's many more instances similar to that so in that regard That's a boost for for low style at the expense of the golden gate picture. You know. they're not racing. Of course that's going to be now seven weeks without grass racing and the north so there's.

"Worm their way into your into your heart and you'll look forward to call on them whether they were big stay courses or not. Well you know I down deaths of course it was a big name back in the eighties. He Coast Express and probably the first Stakes winner Bob Baffert ever had in California's a quarter horse call Kelly's copper and that was up day meadow Zimbabwe's standing up next to me right outside the announcers now decide eighty one or eighty two and he would call went running down like at one the Kentucky Lucky Derby not just when Bob started getting involved in California and that's when I met Bob was back in the early eighties. You know that's the name that a lot of people aren't GonNa Remember but Kelly's coffee and I still remember that races as well. We have a very fun visit with with Baffert on Wednesday and he talked about his first Winner at the a low sal. Five o'clock five o'clock rush rush rush and and then he then he talked about how his his his walkaway quarterhorse was the son of of Five o'clock rush eight o'clock rush and you must have called those those races you know I call some of them are funny back in the one thousand nine hundred eighty S. I would be calling winter. Meet at law. Selam Day battles military. Gilligan was calling the summer me because millie vessels who had On the track along with that. Frank vessels He was Terrier is going to be the successor to bobby dwell. That was their game plan. But I kinda step in the middle after I call it bay meadows got hired by Mister. Already call the other meat. So I think Terry Coll some of those races as well as myself and I got the full time job done both. The winter may down the summer. Nineteen Ninety call ever all the mates ever since unbelievable. Well I was lucky enough. It's gotta be now three years ago when the Champion to champions was the same night As you know the the great ones runs earlier in the day the few thirty in the starlet. And he's a dash afire. I th that to me was a lot of fun to be there for that at it with the best part of that for me was watching the transition from the afternoon crowd the thoroughbred afternoon crowd to the evening crowd and kind of cowboy esque a lot of hats belt buckles and a lot of boots and it was. It was really cool to be there for the day and night sessions and I could real I really for the first time understood. The you know the infectiousness Nisa of of the quarter horse seen and and you know the quarterhorse game. Because I really had not till that evening. I had not seen much horse racing now. I mean I think you'd it really noticed that if you go back down to the all American charity because that's really the cowboy hats and read down with eighteen to twenty thousand people packed into it's I won't say similar to Churchill because I've never been to Churchill. Yep You know. It's a huge crowd at a small venue and you know it's a different type of atmosphere. But that's the whole history of the quarter horses in how I'll so many cowboy type people show up and you know I enjoy throwback people as well don't get me wrong. I like both you know both sets the certainly different in nightime is during the day. Well Edberg.

"You would think you're really fired up to come back to work which I still wanted to call races. It's just didn't have that quite a sense of urgency to get back like I had before so I knew the timing was right this time and you know there's things we wanna do and I tell you what after the death Brad. McKenzie was a close friend of mine. He was you know four or five years younger than me a kind of a wakeup call that there's more to life just working all the time and I'm still going to be involved in the morning line. I and I won't be totally idle. I can do that for my home up in Prescott Valley so just looking for enjoying some time with my wife visiting a lot of different race tracks around the country that we haven't been able to go to go on to the Kentucky Derby for the first time next year so really looking forward to it and your you know your career and you have done. Even though you've been very much focused with with low sow and you know the whole period of time you've done other things and you actually got into it in a in a fairly typical fashion coming into the publicity side And then then getting behind the MIC. But the talk about that and I and most often we hear about race callers that you know that had had race calling as a as an ambition Doesn't seem necessarily the case with you that you Kinda came in a little bit to it on the from the side door. Yeah you know my my whole career is going to be as a sportswriter I went to. UCLA graduated in nineteen seventy four sportscenter. The daily Bruin and got hired as sportswriter at the Orange Coast. Daily pilot ballot here in In Costa Mesa. But when I I was doing so many stories on horse racing always Since my dad to track when I was four I just loved the sport of horse racing and when I went to work in publicity I was doing the results for canucks radio and recording. "Jeff Siegel joins US Jeff Good Morning Axel. I've never seen a blueberry that size at least not outside of Violet beauregard back to Hollywood The origins of this event well I remember Nineteen eighty-four I was I'll never forget when they had the classic and all that bumping with wild again and all that so and it was a great great day racing because it was so new and of course oh down so that was a memorable to be sure and through the years of course I think there's so many that I can think of that that we're thoroughly enjoyable and memorable and hopefully uh we were led into this several weeks of conversations Jeff it it has been very it's been very deep and very slow and it's fair to those but you better be dead fit because this is a deep track that's the way they want that wanted to demand at least a race or work out over the track and some of the horses the by how much how much on the fly movement do you you know how deep do you adjust your plays or the for the most part Yeah I really when you think about it you you you you play the handicap by if I've I haven't seen one throughout the entire meeting here I don't think that's going implant a race in which you thought that would be impacted by the vice I don't have that feeling here rolled it worked out well let's let's Kinda wing through competitive I the one thing about this turf course because we're we're going to be dealing with several turf is going to handle it he's an American Fair I've loved his races back east go off it but I think he's probably the consensus favorite so I kind of like him I think ban practice kick things off and then run to his abilities. It'd be nice to see an American Pharaoh I tried to rediscover juvenile turf at a mile this is tough really impressive as I I've seen a two year old dot four drawn the fourteen all but he'll drop back really good he's a maturing developing two year old I think has an edge on some of his rivals who's main track any any lean you shouldn't be I mean he's a good colo other than you know try to make the gap and dumped his rider Whoa on that very deep tracking won the American fairly when that by poll it just because of not only the way were the ways breed since then I that can throw any cold water and eight rings gambling stamp one I prefer Dennis's moment but it Kinda sit out there and make this move very similar to the trip that he got when he won the vanderbilt is going to run extremely well I think Mr Money's got a really good chance to upset because that's where the money is for three year olds but he is a prototype dirt miler and he so those are a few horses that I like you know the grass wren is just a mess I rose from the rail and come dancing we'll see how she can perform out of New York he plays out and hopefully we get good racing and safe racing and which is this morning and in an unbelievably they make the trip here at the have to really important and live all scratches changes on the day but that's one that people into the juvenile turf and I'm hoping that this is the case beginning really still the early stages of his career yeah that's a tough thing what turned out to be a hair line fracture but the ankle right it easy there's always wanted to get that and we you know I'm GonNa go with Qinglian that race I liked the blinkers off angle he's let me favorable for him he's you know he's he's probably need to lead type but in this race he's Ango I think he's GonNa make the running and you know maybe it's just you know his attorney of course under these conditions so I wanna try him kingly for Bob Baffert tomorrow and knowing you you'll be playing Sunday to so we'll do some recapping widely as he's widely known does a tremendous job Mike Welsh joins and Then out here Mike morning the morning's Mike week here for that for Brandon you know the vets are doing their due diligence cases I guess but you can't be too cautious I suppose especially turf and I'll make those changes as soon as we got off the Air Mike and let's start with the sprint race that you cover for the form well look I mean this is probably the most maybe not the most contentious work that I start out here I mean he couldn't have gone any better than he did I mean forty six I'm kind of Gallup outs here this week that you you apps so he's doing great Matola Gate work with Super I mean except for if you wanted to I post where he had to be in a position where you had to send them out of their early he wanted him on his toes salie doubted monmouth but taken Louis Cardinals word for it that the last two works oh finished third but for whatever reason he just doesn't seem to take the Churchill downs track have to wonder could they need one over this little bit d protracted assuming that it's not it'd be able to get a little bit of an idea this afternoon at least and then we could carry that over in his work earlier this week went out a little quick it was over that same went forty-six and Change Catalina Cruz. I got a little bit tired at the end that just lackluster around definitely this patient area will chance elect get loose on the Torian imperial that we saw what he how he ran against imperial hit not running his usual style on some of the biggest names and some of the biggest spots and some of the biggest I think is is one of the most wide open races I think you can make a good case for picks so that just shows you you know the nature of this one but it's still important one I mean running out quickly math whiz worked I saw it in in in in Kentucky on the nineteenth was really glued he's got the blinkers on we'll see how that that factors in but again workout report because he was at Saratoga and that was one place we did not have covered but I love the way training in the morning so you sheet is up at player a late I I absolutely loved as well the beat the boys on numbers she's going to have to prove a little bit but I made her my pick for the value I hope it twenty second work was okay I thought the work the last week was better get mean groom I'm a little against that obviously it's one of which surprise me Edano Rossa watching his works and talking to my New York guys watching his works on tape couldn't host eleven doing great again you know he's one of those horses that you just don't know how these horses that have not had to work over the track and only a couple of Gallup's here how they fared up and you and Gary Young and John Nichols horses that Gallup in that you've ever seen but all of a sudden you they catch your eye Korean horse about the all week I've been here who knows how good he is I mean I mean he's just just jumping out of his skin I think he's GonNa run real well shocked and and Castle Ladies and other is affiliate whose shuttle that great she's one of those that you just.
